[15:20] the feast of Saint Patrick March 17th
[15:24] whereas St Patrick's Day is the feast
[15:27] day of St Patrick patron saint of
[15:29] Ireland
[15:30] he was born in Roman Britain in the late
[15:33] 4th Century he was kidnapped at the age
[15:35] of 16 and was taken to Ireland as a
[15:38] slave
[15:39] he escaped but returned about 432
[15:42] CE to convert the Irish to Christianity
[15:46] by the time of his death on March 17 461
[15:50] he had established monasteries churches
[15:53] and schools and whereas the city of
[15:56] Schenectady honors its many Irish
[15:58] residents and residents of Irish descent
[16:01] as well as for their many contributions
[16:04] to the city of Schenectady and whereas
[16:07] the John F Kennedy division one Ancient
[16:09] Order of Hibernians together with the
[16:10] John F Kennedy division one ladies
[16:13] Ancient Order of Hibernians has
[16:15] contributed to the general welfare of
[16:17] the city of Schenectady for over 143
[16:20] years and 129 years respectively by its
[16:24] many Financial donations and the
[16:26] performance of various good works for
[16:28] worthy causes and deserving
[16:30] organizations and whereas today people
[16:33] of all backgrounds celebrate come on
