That process has been a little bit more in depth than we had initially anticipated, and it was because our public works director, Mr. Hallen, learned that we need to make the crosswalk Ada compliant. So it was at too steep of a grade, the sidewalk going down to the crosswalk area because the sidewalk was about 13in higher than the roadway. So it would have been kind of a steep angle going down to it. So as it turns out, we're going to have to rip out several panels of sidewalk and kind of work on the sidewalk going up to the crosswalk before he can install the crosswalk. So all that should be completed within about the next two weeks, but it just took a little bit more work than we had initially thought. The good news is there is a Kentucky League of Cities grant, a small grant that we are going to apply for that will hopefully help with this a little bit. So our team always does such a good job of finding funding for things. So hopefully we will receive this grant. We talked about that. We also discussed that we're kind of trying to tweak our process a little bit on evaluating where we put crosswalks, requests for crosswalks. And we're still continuing that conversation.
