[9:12] support and facilitate the city's
[9:14] side fiber project that's been going on in the city. I think they're in talks with you at the
[9:18] moment to bring neighborhood fiber for us. Obviously, we're not having to pay for it. It
[9:25] sounds like they're going to be paying for most of the funding, although there's some paving that
[9:29] they have to do. As someone who's spent more than 30 years working in technology and evaluating
[9:34] technology organizations and infrastructure, I can say that broadband is no longer at
[9:43] And as things get more and more, upload speeds are becoming more critical to kind of what
[9:49] we do for work.
[9:51] Today's families rely on level internet for work, education, telehealth, class computing,
[9:56] AI applications, home security.
[10:00] And so on and so forth. They require fast upload speeds just as much as the fast downloads, which, unfortunately,
[10:08] Glenwood and many surrounding neighborhoods continue to have limited broadband choices. While Cox provides service,
[10:14] its cable network continues to offer significantly slower upload speeds than download. AT&T currently does not provide any
[10:21] significant fees, upload speeds, or down those speeds in our neighborhood,
[10:25] nor does our link or any of the cell providers that are in the neighborhood.
[10:31] The project that we're talking about encourages providers to improve their networks,
[10:37] which includes COX as well, to invest in better infrastructure and provide better
[10:42] value for residents, everyone benefits when consumers have options.
[10:46] Fiber infrastructure is also an investment in the long-term value of our community.
[10:51] Today, prospective home buyers evaluate broadband, availability alongside schools,
[10:55] parks, transportation, communities with fiber, connectivity are increasingly viewed as more
[11:00] desirable, helping to support enhanced property values for us. We make this opportunity,
[11:06] especially compelling, is the timing. The city is already investing in roadways at the moment,
[11:11] and so, and portions of my neighborhood require construction regardless.
[11:15] CityCyphyra has not made much of its infrastructure, it uses narrow curb cuts or micro-trenching
[11:20] along the roadway rather than cutting into newly paved streets years later.
[11:26] This work can be coordinated with projects that are already happening, which can minimize
[11:30] disruption, preserves new pavements, and allows private investments to improve critical
[11:34] infrastructure at no cost.

We discussed empty storefronts, the owners and the managers of the properties as well as their intentions. There are a number of parcel owners making an even larger number of business decisions as they look at their real estate portfolios and we are attempting to get as much information as we can in order to encourage new tenancy. We heard a number of good ideas from the board members and we'll continue meeting with those folks and disseminate as much information as we can as we get it.

[29:11] community better. Jen was an amazing mother raising her three awesome young children at our local
[29:16] schools. Jen was a friend. Her husband rich is my friend. She touched a lot of lives.
