[0:06] I want to welcome you to our annual Memorial Day service and thank you for [0:09] coming out today to recognize, honor, and remember those who have served and [0:15] especially those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. [0:19] » Morning breaks on Beach Haven shore. [0:25] Golden light through windows and open doors. [0:32] Flags are dancing in the salt air breeze. [0:39] Church bells echo softly through the trees. [0:46] Bikes down Bay Avenue begin to roll. [0:54] Coffee cups in hand, familiar souls. [1:01] Boats are rocking gently in the harbor light. [1:07] Freedom lives in moments just like [1:12] tonight. But before the laughter, [1:18] before summer starts, we pause together [1:25] with grateful hearts. [1:30] Beach Haven remembers, proud and true, [1:33] beneath the red, the white, and blue. [1:37] From the ocean waves to the base soft lights, [1:42] we honor the brave here tonight. Raise your voices, let freedom ring [1:48] in every prayer we speak today. [1:51] On this silent shore where memories remain, [1:55] we thank the heroes who carried the pain. [2:06] Children laughing on the sidewalks near. [2:13] Families gathering [2:17] year after year. Yet empty chairs still quietly remain [2:24] for those whose sacrifice can't be explained. [2:31] From the yachts at the marina sails held high to sunsets burning low across the [2:37] sky. Every freedom that we hold so dear was purchased by the brave who brought [2:44] us here. So before the fireworks paint the night, we stand together in [2:51] candlelight. [2:55] Each heaven remembers proud and true beneath the red, [3:00] the white and blue. From the ocean waves to the base of the lights, [3:06] we honor the brave here tonight. Raise your voices, let freedom stand [3:13] in every prayer we speak today. On this hallowed soil where memories [3:19] remain, we thank the heroes WHO CARRIED the pain. [3:39] Every wave upon the shoreline knows the names of courage carried IN ITS FLOW. [3:46] EVERY bell that rings across this town calls us to remember those laid down and [3:53] when the stars shine over little lake tonight [3:59] may heaven hold our heroes in its light. [4:07] » May heaven remember forever true >> beneath the red, [4:12] the white, AND BLUE. >> FROM BAY [4:15] AVENUE to the oceanside, we carry on memories [4:20] » with endless pride. >> Let freedom [4:23] ring across the summer sky. >> With grateful hearts [4:27] and tear-filled >> eyes on [4:29] this Memorial Day, our voices say [4:37] thank you for the gift of the American way.
