On August 23rd, 2026, at approximately 1532 hours, I assisted Sergeant Bonner and Officer Clark of the Bellevue Police Department on a medical call for a male who was unresponsive and not breathing at 233 Center Street in Bellevue, Kentucky. When Officer Clark and I arrived on scene, we had to move several dogs out of the way to ensure it was safe for us and the Bellevue Dayton Fire Department personnel to enter the rest of the residence. As soon as Officer Clark and I entered the residence, we were led to the bedroom where the male Joseph Gray was lying on the bed on the bedroom floor, unresponsive. Officer Clark, quickly and without any hesitation, began chest compressions until the paramedics were able to arrive on scene. Paramedics took over and set up Mr. Gray on the automated chest compression device. They were also able to use a defibrillator to shock Mr. Gary multiple times. After the subject was loaded into the ambulance, he was given a police escort to the hospital by Sergeant Bonner because the siren had malfunctioned and did not work. Later that evening, I received a call from Officer Clark, who informed me that Mr. Gary was transferred to Saint Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood because they were able to get his heart beating again without Officer Clark's quick, quick reactions and taking life saving measures. Sergeant Bonner providing a police escort. Mr. Gary would not have had a fighting chance to survive. Both of these officers did an extraordinary job and helped save a life. It is an honor to work with these two on a regular basis, and their excellent response to a situational crisis should not go unnoticed.

Um, in the last 90 days, as of July, ten jurisdictions, ten different cities in the Northern Kentucky, Greater Cincinnati area have suspended or terminated contracts with FLoC.
