[9:49] paperwork in i said i don't know the

[9:51] vendors yet

[22:01] agreement with burns and mcdonald and

[29:47] the grant portion of the project will

[29:49] fund 90 of that

[29:54] 925. the remaining 28

[29:57] 325 is the city's

[30:00] match to this in addition to the monies

[30:02] we've spent on engineering to meet the

[30:05] design and all of that criteria

[30:09] we do have this included in the 2022

[30:12] budget

[30:13] and

[30:15] that's about all i have to say about it

[30:17] i guess

[30:18] seeking your approval

[30:25] citizens questions concerns

[31:49] physically doing things i don't know if

[31:55] signal heads will need to be adjusted

[31:57] and or replaced friends for an extended

[32:00] period of time

[32:03] any extended period oh it shouldn't be

[32:05] should be very brief

[32:12] sure it seems as though um this is a

[32:16] small amount compared to what a traffic

[32:18] signal costs so the amount of uh

[32:22] hard

[32:23] equipment

[32:25] doesn't seem to be that it's it's

[32:28] very great

[32:31] i thought that as well

[32:33] so the original consultant i asked them

[32:37] to confirm in writing that

[32:39] this was still an accurate number

[32:42] and uh they confirmed back and said yeah

[32:44] that's what the numbers are but the

[32:46] proof will be in the bidding i guess

[32:48] yeah because i know uh company that

[32:54] light is woeful woefully past its age of uh

[33:00] most of this is electronics and stuff

[33:02] but right exactly that's even that's

[33:05] hard to get these days so you know

[33:07] things have changed in the supply chain

[33:10] six or eight months at least but it was

[33:13] hopefully that all of this will be

[33:15] modernized and upgraded

[33:18] to a level that we all expect yeah yeah

[35:09] that they revise or review the k-7 plan

[35:16] southern border of bonner springs

[35:21] pretty uh resounding agreement across

[35:23] the board that that is something that

[35:26] needs to be reevaluated um as far as the

[35:30] original um mid-2000 plan so

[35:34] i don't have any other update than that

[35:36] but the request officially has been made

[35:38] um it sounds like that is a request

[35:40] that's also being made in olathe as well

[35:43] as spring hill

[35:44] so this is not

[35:46] we're not alone as far as that's

[35:48] concerned

[35:49] i did also bring up um some of the

[35:53] maintenance considerations out in the

[35:55] right of way to include the four foot

[35:57] bushes

[35:58] so hopefully we can get those addressed

[39:38] pocket listings we've got a handful of

[39:49] literally going through the roof and not

[39:51] in a negative way it's a good thing but

[39:54] because it's the recognition of the

[39:55] quality of our community and the things

[39:57] that we're doing here to bring people in

[40:04] sell your home feel free to give me a

[40:24] of how much their house was not worth

[40:32] tried to list it and wholesale it the

[40:38] remind the realtors that pocket listings

[40:40] are illegal in the state of kansas a

[40:42] pocket listing is anything

[40:44] where you're selling a home

[40:46] without listing it first if you're a

[40:48] licensed agent i'd like to remind people

[40:50] that you can lose your license for that

[40:52] and if anybody is aware of it please

[40:55] because bonner's doing well and we don't

[40:57] need our citizens ripped off if you are

[43:33] big evergreen trees in the middle of the

[43:36] block just south at kansas avenue

[43:39] and i think those are an individual so

[43:44] riverview west of 134th i've been

[43:47] contacted it's in

[43:49] pretty bad condition it might

[43:52] benefit from some of those potholes

[43:54] being

[43:55] either made into one very large pothole

[43:58] or

[44:00] having some

[44:01] material put in it

[44:05] right

[44:07] the street lights on the

[44:11] um 300 block of oak street

[44:14] uh are out on the west side of the

[44:17] street on mr

[44:20] the gentleman who was here earlier his

[44:22] side of the street both the

[44:26] real strong the overhead street light as

[44:29] well as the decorative street lights are

[44:30] all

[44:31] uh appear to be out so

[44:34] those might need a little attention

[44:39] again i had an opportunity to drive

[44:40] across the state of kansas from one end

[44:42] to the other and

[44:44] bonner springs stands out

[44:48] most other places pale in comparison to

[44:50] bonner springs in my humble opinion so

[44:55] community's done to do that

[45:00] kelly has directed that flags be flown

[45:02] at half-mast from now

[45:06] sundown on wednesday september 29th to

[45:08] honor

[45:09] 6024 kansans who have lost their lives

[45:12] to covet 19.

[45:15] she made the statement uh that we have

[45:18] the tools to stop the virus in its

[45:20] tracks and prevent further unnecessary

[45:22] deaths of our loved ones and neighbors

[45:27] vaccinated wear masks and follow beth
