[0:00] Ham Township Board of Supervisors meeting to order and we will open with [0:07] pledge of allegiance. [0:12] » I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America [clears throat] [0:17] and to the republic for which it stands. One nation under God, indivisible, with [0:23] liberty and justice for all. >> [clears throat] [0:27] » Okay, Madam Chairman, I hope you will indulge me for a moment, but [0:32] » indulge me too much. >> Yeah, I have a statement I want to make [0:35] because I anticipate that there's a lot of people out here because of this issue [0:38] tonight. I know some of you are here because of Shannon Sticker and Mike and [0:43] the Democratic Club have asked you to come out and ask for my resignation. I [0:47] am not going to resign. I look forward to defending my neighbors for the next [0:52] three years. Litigation and neighbor complaint from Devonshshire neighborhood [0:58] is nothing new. Right here I have 43 pages of complaints from [1:05] neighbors and the township. What is new is that the owners of preserved [1:10] properties want to break their conservation [1:13] easements destroying Buckingham Township's open space program. Why would [1:19] anyone want to be a part of that? The personal attacks show me that some [1:25] will do anything to protect their illegal issues. Because of ongoing [1:29] litigation at Commonwealth Court, it would be inappropriate for anyone in [1:34] this board to comment on this litigation at this time. Thank you so much. [1:39] » Okay. Um so we open our meeting with public comment and as it says on the [1:45] agenda um we have 30 minutes of public comment and at and whatever whoever [1:53] wants to speak we start our meeting and then we can continue with public comment [1:58] at the end of our business meeting. So there are a lot of people in the room [2:03] and I suspect a lot of people who want to speak. So, be thinking about being [2:08] courteous to the other people that want to speak and uh say your your comment [2:14] and um make sure there's time for other people to speak too. So, we'll start and [2:19] it's a couple minutes after 7, so we'll go to 8:35 [2:24] and then we'll start our business meeting if need be. [2:28] So, um, get up, go to the mic if you have something to that you want to [2:32] share, and make sure that Lori gets your name and your address, which you'll have [2:37] your comments in in the minutes. [2:43] I will don't be shy. Hi, Lori. >> Hi, Stephanie Wiser, 38 way. And I um [2:51] would like to second what Shannon and Mike uh Shannon Ste both said. I would [2:57] like to see you resign with John. I was also um canvasing with Mike when you [3:04] sent that letter out to the your Republican friend I guess in Deire and [3:09] it was very upsetting because we knew it was a lie and um I don't know if anybody [3:14] has read the apology that was posted on Facebook that uh John Doris was required [3:20] to post um but he admitted to a number of lies that he um wrote and sent to pe [3:29] certain people in a certain community that um and he was sued for defamation [3:36] and he lost he went to a settlement. I don't want to say anything that isn't [3:41] correct as far as uh legally, but from what I understand, you were sued. You [3:47] you settled. You had to pay a large fine because they found you I I guess you had [3:53] to settle because they found you guilty in and in regard of taking care of or [4:00] with regard to taking care of the people here in Buckingham. I think it's [4:04] important for us to have faith in our board and to believe that when our board [4:10] of supervisors says certain things that they are speaking the truth. And so from [4:15] now on, John, how many more years do you have? every time you open your mouth, [4:19] are we going to believe what you're saying or do we have to question it and [4:22] to think that you are being politically motivated? Because that's what it will [4:26] sound like to me. Thank you. Um I do want to say I did have another point to [4:31] make about something else all together. >> Do I do that now or do you want me? [4:38] » Okay. So the next thing I'd like to bring up which is really very important [4:42] to me is um the lack of transparency with the board. So, I brought this up [4:47] the last time and what I'm looking to see and I was told it will be on the new [4:52] website whenever that is. We will be seeing agendas from every single [4:56] commission and committee and we will also be seeing minutes. Now, I was at [5:01] the planning commission meeting with Luke and I asked why is there a no [5:08] agenda and b no minutes being taken and I was told not by Luke but by the other [5:13] planning commission people that they didn't have to take minutes that it [5:17] wasn't required and that there was no need and people wouldn't actually and [5:21] this was the other part wouldn't understand [5:25] what was being said at the meeting because they had been clued in all [5:29] along. I found it offensive, but more [5:33] importantly, I want to see the minutes from all of [5:37] our commissions and [clears throat] all of our committees posted on the website. [5:40] I noticed today, this is the first time that I've noticed it, that all of the [5:45] committees and the commissions that have sent in minutes are actually listed that [5:50] you're going to approve. And now we, your constituents, would like to see [5:55] those minutes and be able to read them. prior to a meeting, I would like to see [5:59] an agenda posted on our website for all of the commissions and committees and um [6:07] that's pretty much we have we have commissions. [6:11] I think I think that's part of the Sunshine Act here in Pennsylvania. [6:16] » Yeah, the planning commission does >> the planning commission does I guess. Is [6:21] she talking about the work session for the comprehensive plan? So that is not [6:26] that is not your monthly planning commission meaning you're talking about [6:29] the comprehensive plan work sessions but uh but we do you know our boards and [6:35] commissions are all volunteers and when we receive their agendas we have them [6:40] here and when we receive their minutes we bring them to the board after they've [6:44] approved them at the next meeting. Sometimes we don't get them. Sometimes [6:48] we don't get the you know the other the board of auditors minutes. We when we [6:54] get them we we have them and we can provide any minutes that you want. They [6:59] are all >> here. You've got them where you have [7:02] them. I want to see them on the website. >> You're saying post I think she's saying [7:05] she can't read them. >> The second point that I'd like to make [7:09] is I understand that they're volunteers, EAC volunteers. They take comprehensive [7:14] minutes. I think when people apply to be on a commission, it should [7:20] be made clear to them that they need to take minutes. That that is part of the [7:26] requirements of a commission in this township that they be transparent that [7:31] what goes on in a commission meeting is available for people who are not able to [7:36] be there um to be able to read and see that. And I understand it's volunteers. [7:42] there are, you know, people do a lot of volunteers. The boards are pretty much [7:45] volunteers, but um I think that it's important and I think you can make a lot [7:50] of excuses why it's happened, but I do notice that since I've been complaining [7:55] now all of the commissions that are being approved are listed here on the [8:00] agenda. >> Well, and and that's what happened. You [8:02] asked and we listed them. >> I asked last time as well. So, okay, [8:06] Dana, I get what you're saying and I don't and I am upset about it because I [8:11] feel like sometimes we get pregnant. I really do. [8:14] » Is there a reason we can't put approved minutes on the website? [8:18] » They are on the website, aren't they? [8:21] » They have to be tell that's my question. I mean, I thought they were all once [8:26] they're approved, they're posted. >> You can't put unapproved minutes on a [8:29] website. >> You can't put unapproved. [8:30] » Correct. It's illegal. >> And you have to give them to us [8:34] » in the next meeting. and then there's 10 to you and then they're approved and [8:37] then they should be posted. So look on the website [8:42] here's [laughter and clears throat] [8:45] minutes on >> if EAC would like their minutes on the [8:50] minutes when they get we can put them on the website but but [clears throat] [8:56] » okay >> only one who's ever had an issue [9:04] » Alison Zimmer 864 Green Meadow furong. [9:10] I'm here tonight to ask John Forest to resign as Buckingham Township [9:13] Supervisor. I want to be very clear about why I'm making this request. Um, [9:19] this is not about political parties. Um, it's about whether it's not about [9:23] whether someone agrees with his position on a particular issue and it's not about [9:27] punishing someone for making a mistake. To me, it's about trust. Mr. Forest has [9:32] now publicly acknowledged that in 23 he published and distributed a political [9:36] flyer containing multiple false claims about Freighick's farm. These were not [9:41] vague statements. In his own public apology, Mr. Forest acknowledges that he [9:46] falsely accused Freighick's farm of corruption and quit quote quote [9:48] behavior. He acknowledges that the conversations he relied upon for those [9:53] accusations never happened. He acknowledges that he falsely claimed [9:56] that Mr. Baitman attended a hearing to support Bix's farm and offered to defend [10:01] them in exchange for electoral support. >> He further acknowledges that he falsely [10:05] claimed a conversation occurred at another hearing in which people [10:09] supposedly said that they needed to wait for the election to be over and [10:12] everything would go away. According to Mr. Forest own apology, [10:17] these statements were never made. And perhaps most importantly, Mr. Forest [10:21] acknowledges that it was a lapse in judgment to agree and share such a [10:24] flyer. That statement should concern every [10:28] resident of Buckingham Township as well as business owner because the [10:32] responsibility of an elected official is not merely to have an opinion. An [10:37] elected official has a responsibility to exercise judgment, to seek the truth, [10:43] and to be careful with the reputation of the people and businesses they serve. [10:48] They serve. Political speech can be passionate. [10:52] Political disagreements can be fierce. But there is a fundamental difference [10:57] between criticizing someone's actions and publicly making factual accusations [11:02] that have not been verified. The people of Buckingham Township deserve elected [11:06] officials who understand that difference. Mr. Por's apology is [11:10] appropriate and appreciate that that he has acknowledged what he did and [11:14] apologized to Cray Farm. But an apology does not automatically restore the [11:19] public trust that was lost. When [clears throat] an elected official [11:25] uses his position and his political influence to distribute serious [11:28] allegations that he now admits admits are false, the question becomes whether [11:33] the public can continue to have confidence in his judgment. [11:38] If an employee made a serious accusation about someone without verifying whether [11:43] or not it was true, we would expect accountability. If a business leader did [11:47] the same thing, we would question their judgment. And when an elected official [11:51] does it, the standard should not be lower. It should be higher. Our [11:55] supervisors make decisions that affect taxpayers, businesses, property owners, [11:59] and the entire community. We need to know that when they speak, they are [12:03] dealing in facts. We need to know [clears throat] that when they make [12:08] accusations, they have verified them. And we need to know that their political [12:11] motivations will never outweigh their obligations to act responsibility [12:16] to act responsibly. Mr. Forest has admitted that he failed [12:20] that responsibility in in this instance. [clears throat] For that reason, I [12:24] respect respectfully call upon John Forest to resign. This is not about [12:29] vengeance. It's not about account. It's about accountability. It's about the [12:33] integrity of public office. And most importantly, it's about restoring the [12:37] trust that an elected official must have in order to effectively serve the [12:41] people. Buckingham Township deserves leaders who understand these that the [12:45] truth matters and especially when it's politically inconvenient. [12:50] [applause] [12:57] » Amen. [13:02] » Jeff Glober, 4710 Twin Brook Circle. Um I also call on Mr. Forest to resign, but [13:09] do I believe he's going to resign? No. Um, I call on the board to take a censor [13:15] uh to issue a censor um resolution tonight condoning the [13:22] behavior. Okay. It requires two votes. I would ask anybody who's voting to please [13:29] state why they're voting in favor of doing that or against doing that. Okay? [13:34] We need to go on the record that this is unacceptable. Okay? lying to [13:38] constituency is inappropriate and the board cannot accept that. Okay, plain [13:44] and simple. So, please take that vote. [13:52] » Someone else. [13:58] » My name is Ravi Bala. I'm a new resident of the township and I'm not very [14:03] experienced at doing this in this public forum. So, forgive me if I stumble. [14:07] I have a question. I wonder if I can address it to the township solicitor. [14:14] Um, are there minimum ethical standards for people that serve on the board of [14:18] supervisors? >> There's ethical standards for every [14:21] public official >> and do those ethical standards require [14:25] honesty. >> The cannons of ethics are uh there's [14:30] actually a board in Pennsylvania that administers the ethical code. Um, and in [14:36] this instance, >> you have to you have to reference that. [14:38] » In this instance, you've got a member of the board that's come back and said, I [14:46] assume that this was a violation of the ethical standards. [14:49] » I don't know that. >> How would you know that? [14:52] » But you'd look it up and I have to go look it up and I haven't looked it up. [14:55] » And would you look it up? And would you be able to report that into the next [14:57] meeting? >> I can certainly let my client, the [15:00] board, know. >> Okay. And I would ask the board [15:03] chairman, would you make sure that this this investigation happens? And we try [15:08] to at least get a reading on whether the ethical standards have been violated in [15:12] this instance. >> And the solicitor says there are minimal [15:16] ethical standards. >> I'm happy to look it up. I suspect they [15:19] aren't, but I'm happy >> I would. And and would you make that [15:22] public? >> That's up to the board. The board is my [15:25] client. I [clears throat] >> completely completely understand that. I [15:29] think I think that is that is that is great response and I would I would hope [15:33] that in the next meeting by the next meeting we have that kind of an [15:36] investigation and you come back and say here are the standards that we looked at [15:40] here is how this is a violation or not a violation. [15:43] » What what he'll look up he'll look up the standards [15:47] » there was there this this member Mr. Forest from what the articles that I've [15:52] read has acknowledged that he's made false statements. He lied and he's [15:58] acknowledged that. So is lying a violation of the ethical [16:02] standards and if there are violations of ethical standards, what are the [16:06] consequences and how does board act on it? I mean this this is something that [16:09] we all need to be working. >> Okay. Thank you. [16:13] » Well, we have all the details down your of your uh question. [16:17] » Thank you. >> Yeah. [16:20] Next. [16:24] Hello, Paul Caldero 3670 Queen Ridge Road. Um, I kind of feel we're in a [16:32] remake since we have a director in the room. I feel like we're in a remake of [16:35] Casablanca. Like there's gambling going on in this [16:39] establishment. I'm sorry. I find it very hypocritical. Let Let me see. Let's [16:44] Let's talk about being dishonest. Um, Stephanie, when you got up here, you [16:49] were shocked about the dishonesty, quote unquote. I wonder if it's dishonest if a [16:54] member of the board were to do something to their house without getting approval [16:58] from the township. Is that dishonest to ask all of us to do something that [17:02] you're not willing to do yourself? Is that dishonest? Is it dishonest to say [17:07] during a campaign, oh, we're going to there there's something going to be [17:10] built here when it's not going to be built here. Is that dishonest? The [17:13] amount of hypocrisy, and by the way, I'm a human being. I'm guilty of hypocrisy [17:18] myself, but I just find it funny about we get on our high horse about being [17:22] dishonest when the people that you support do the same thing. The said the [17:27] other thing is this. Um I know one thing, deeds and actions. I know one [17:32] thing. John Forest for 20 years as supervisor longer than that as a [17:37] constable. His acts as supervisor, let me think. [17:41] Um, AAA Township, one of the only three in the state, lowest townships in Bucks [17:46] County, the one of the top staff around. Um, I'm sorry, why do we all live here? [17:51] I know if it was a crappy place to live, we would not live here. So, John, your [17:55] actions speak loud enough. And in case anybody didn't remember, we have a [18:00] lawsuit with a particular farm, okay, that's [18:04] been going on for a reason, okay? They are not pure as the wind driven snow. [18:11] Please forgive me when when you get a million dollars. [18:16] Sorry, I'm a tired very passionate. When you get a million dollars to preserve [18:20] your property and you don't want to do the things that you took that money for, [18:24] THAT'S AN ISSUE. THAT'S DISHONESTY. That's all I've got to say. Thank you, [18:28] JOHN. [applause] [18:34] » HI, good evening. My name is James Seabourg. I live at 4683 Bradley Court [18:39] in Doylestown. I had a question about the vehicles that are being approved and [18:44] I guess Maggie I would start with you about the um environmental committee. [18:48] Have these been vetted by the subcommittee. Are these because I [18:51] remember before so we had a great evening about the environmental action [18:57] group um not not approving a truck or not recommending a truck after we said [19:03] we were going to put in all of these standards. I [clears throat] wondered if [19:06] these are green vehicles or energy efficient vehicles. [19:10] » They were not vetted by the EAC and I don't believe that they are all [19:16] green vehicles. >> No, [19:18] » they are all green vehicles. >> They are not all green vehicles. [19:21] » I I guess um going back to the theme of tonight, we need to be putting action [19:26] behind our words. >> They are police vehicles. [19:29] » Huh? They're both >> vehicles. Police vehicles. There are [19:32] green There are green emergency vehicles in other municipalities. [19:37] » Uh there are and we we do have a green vehicle for our fire marshall and our [19:43] emergency management coordinator. Um since we have fleet vehicles in our uh [19:49] department uh our police department, they have requested that we stay with [19:53] the the ones that are pursuit rated and um that follow you know that follow with [20:00] that. >> Okay. Well, I'd like to see us go green. [20:04] Um, >> I think we've done a lot to go green [20:07] here in the township. >> I'm sorry. [20:09] » We We have done a lot to go green here in the township. [20:12] » I'm not disputing that, but I remember that night when the disappointment was [20:18] when we purchased the vehicle for the township and it wasn't green. I'm just [20:22] expressing my point and I have no other say than that. So, um, the only other [20:26] thing I will say, I'm a former reporter and I think we better pay really close [20:30] attention to the sunshine law because there are other municipalities that have [20:34] gotten in trouble for not posting agendas ahead of time. [20:39] Just be careful. And then the last thing I would say is, John, I'm really [20:43] disappointed in you. And I when I first moved to the township, you were very [20:47] kind. When we met you at full greeting, I didn't know who you are. Um, and it [20:53] didn't matter. You were kind to us, but I'm really disappointed in the choices [20:58] that you've made, and I really wish you would think twice about continuing to [21:04] serve. Thank you. [applause] [21:13] » Bruce Bell 3703, Burnhouse. Um, John, I'd like to ask a question. So, I [21:17] support you. Yes. Okay. Sorry. >> I support everybody here that's calling [21:21] for your resignation. What I'd like to understand is in your statement when you [21:25] started, you referenced 47 pages of complaints from neighbors who you're [21:32] supposed to represent. You're supposed to be looking out for their best [21:37] interests. And I don't understand why whatever that dispute is with them would [21:42] justify or constitute you committing ethical violations. In my opinion, they [21:47] were ethical violations. I'm with you on that. and lying. What does that have to [21:54] do with the 47 pages of complaints you have? I don't need to know what the [21:58] complaints are, but I'd like to understand the cause and connection. I'm [22:02] » going to step in here. The 47 complaints are also exhibits in the ongoing lawsuit [22:06] that's going on in >> I don't care. [22:09] » I know you don't care, but I don't understand. [22:11] » I'm not going to argue with you. I'm not arguing with you. Okay. I'm just telling [22:13] the board that they shouldn't get engaged in those discussions while I was [22:16] on. >> I want to understand what 47 pages of [22:19] complaints about from from residents has anything to do with John feeling that [22:23] that gives him the right look that gives him the right [22:28] » to lie >> to his constituents in this township. [22:32] That's what I'd like to understand. I'd like an answer to that. [22:35] » If you want to look at the 47 complaints, you can go to the courthouse [22:39] and you can look at the exhibits that are part of the ongoing [22:41] » No, I want to know what complaints have to do with [22:45] » him lying >> to constituents [22:48] » why he felt that it was acceptable if I complain about somebody [22:53] » that doesn't give them the right to turn around and lie to other people [22:59] so I'd like an answer on that is there something that could be provided now or [23:02] or at the next meeting or in writing to >> no our visit presidents [23:08] » so you have no explanation for lying is acceptable when there's complaints [23:14] Okay, >> advising you guys not to get into that. [23:17] Thank you. >> You know, I've been a resident here 30 [23:20] years, never felt the need to come here, and I'm appalled by how residents of [23:25] this township are being treated by the people they're supposed to represent. [23:29] » Amen. >> I really [applause] [23:33] I mean, you speak down to people, you know, Jane just came up and said, "Hey, [23:37] I'd like to talk about environmental vehicles. I'd like to talk about green." [23:41] And Dana, you turn around. But we do a lot of stuff for green. Okay. That [23:45] doesn't explain what Jane's question was. You guys connect in things that [23:50] don't connect. Thank you. [24:01] » Chris [clears throat] Taylor, 409 Hillrest. [24:05] moved here 28 years ago for a couple of reasons. John's been a [24:11] great steward of this community, this township for every year we've been here. [24:17] People do make mistakes. The other thing is when it comes to [24:21] civil lawsuits, people settle for different reasons and it's not always [24:25] because it's on the far end of the spectrum that's being portrayed. [24:30] So, I just ask people to kind of understand that, too. It's probably [24:33] somewhere in the middle. Right. So that's all [24:37] » Chris. My first my first lawsuit in 64 years scared the hell out of me. [24:45] » Y >> thank you for your service. [24:47] » Yeah. Thank you, sir. >> Thank you. [applause] [24:55] » Anybody else? No. [25:02] Hello. Um Lisa Bro, 3352 Darpalo Road. Um first I wanted to start with um I [25:09] wanted to thank um the township and the public works, police, fire um for the [25:17] Buckingham Night Market. Um I don't know if any of you guys attend it. Um but it [25:21] was really um an amazing night of community seeing people come together um [25:27] and seeing all these local businesses um be supported and just overall teamwork. [25:32] Um I got a lot of compliments of people saying it was really nice to see [25:36] volunteers, township, police, fire all working together um to do something for [25:42] the community. And I know the parks and recck got a lot of feedback um from just [25:47] people sending us emails saying that they were um super, you know, just happy [25:52] about it and want to see more of that. Um [25:56] Maggie and John, I didn't I don't know if you guys were there. I didn't have a [25:59] chance to see you guys there, but I was curious. [26:04] Um >> we never heard I didn't hear like I know [26:07] as commission we didn't hear anything from you guys. So, I was curious if you [26:10] guys had any feedback >> from the evening. [26:14] » I think I think Dana shared >> I shared it with Louise [26:17] » most of the feedback um and with Louise and with you. [26:22] » Okay. So, what is that feedback? I'd love to hear it. [26:25] » Well, I got an email from um [clears throat] [26:29] uh >> Pine Run. They brought a busload of [26:33] people that were coming because they don't drive and they thought they were [26:36] coming to a a farmers market and they were disappointed because they saw a [26:43] booth with some tomatoes and couple heads of lettuce and you know that was [26:48] about it for that kind of thing. But I also know that you're you know it's the [26:53] first it was the first one you're you're working on. I said they said you know [26:57] better better luck next year. they'll come back next year. So, [27:02] » okay. >> You know, I mean, and I and I was there [27:04] for a while and looked around and and I I honestly I had a different impression [27:10] of what it was going to be. I thought it was going to be more [27:13] » more farm, you know, produce and stuff like that. [27:17] But, you know, >> it's to that point um it's exciting. We [27:24] have nonsuch that'll be joining us next time. Uh Slack Farm is joining us. when [27:29] the garden farm is joining us. So >> good. And to be fair, we do uh they did [27:34] publish a list of all of the vendors that are there. [27:37] » Well, I'm just I'm just telling you what I heard. I I don't have a comment. I [27:43] mean, I knew it was the first one and you're going to do the next one and [27:46] everyone's a learning experience. So, >> and it's not supervisor comment, but [27:51] I'll say the same thing that my neighbors in Buck Springs were [27:54] disappointed that there wasn't more farm markets there cuz they think that's what [27:58] it was. That's what the public was told that it was going to be. [28:02] » But that sounds like >> So, we can agree then that the public [28:05] wants a farmers market. >> They do want a farmers market. [28:08] » Okay. Cuz you once said that we shouldn't have a farmers market. [28:11] [laughter] [28:13] » You guys both did, actually. [applause] You know what, Lisa? [28:18] » I'm not saying that, Lisa. >> We're talking about the night market and [28:21] I'm trying to be encouraging. >> I'm just saying you guys I literally [28:25] » That's a different story what we talked about before about a farmers market. You [28:31] didn't want one. But now you're saying the community wants us to have [28:33] » No, I didn't say that. I said they showed up at the night market. [28:39] » You know what? This is It's fine. >> You have a nice night market. This is [28:43] work because there's somebody wants to speak behind you [28:46] » and you know >> I'm still not I'm still not done. [28:49] » What else? What else? What's your comment? [28:51] » Yeah. [clears throat] >> Um so this is to you John directly. Um I [28:56] just want to express um as a fellow farmer um just my disappointment. I [29:02] don't know um how low you have to be to do that to another farming business in [29:10] our community. Um, I don't know how you make that decision that that was the [29:16] right thing to do. >> Um, and it's deeply disappointing. And I [29:20] think you've you've sent a message loud and clear that you [29:24] you you don't have farmers backs to do that for your own political gain. [29:30] » Are you Is that not true? [clears throat] [29:35] » You didn't You didn't do that for your own political gain. [29:39] » I don't know. You're nodding. Sorry. Just keep talking, Lisa. Yeah, you you [29:44] » keep talking. You got a few more minutes. [29:46] » Okay, we have we have >> I just want to reiterate that it's very [29:50] disappointing. Um and I think again as a first generation farmer, you guys do not [29:56] make it feel like we are welcomed. Um and just this action for what you did, [30:02] like it it just does not sit right. And I just want to say it really disappoints [30:06] me. Um, and I do ask that I know you're the chair of the ASA and you should step [30:12] off of that. Um, or not be the government liaison for that. Um, you [30:17] clearly do not care about it. Um, you did not provide an agenda. We do not [30:20] have minutes. We approved something even and there's no record of that. Um, you [30:26] clearly don't want to have any more meetings to discuss that or even approve [30:29] our minutes. So, is that something you're willing to do? [30:33] » I provided minutes for the last meeting we have. [30:36] Where are they? >> Well, thank [30:40] » Don't they have to be approved? >> Yeah. Like, yeah. [30:43] » Well, I'm on that commission and I've seen no minutes. I've seen no agenda. [30:47] » Let me check. Thank you. >> So, do you have those minutes? Will they [30:51] be shared? >> Okay. [30:55] » I don't know. >> Yo, this is like the Twilight Zone. You [30:58] have no [laughter] answer. >> You took the minutes. So, you have draft [31:02] minutes. You haven't had another >> Hold on. You'll have to call another [31:05] meeting. for the the committee to approve them. [31:09] » So there will be another meeting. >> There'll be another meeting called to [31:12] approve the minutes. Yes. >> All right. Everybody heard it. [31:17] » Yes. >> We heard level of accountability. You [31:21] [applause] heard it. [31:25] » My name is Michael. I live on by road township. I've lived here for 56 years. [31:31] I've been preserved over 200 acres 100 acres in this township. Um I think John [31:38] you have a really difficult job. Um it's really difficult and I uh I don't think [31:45] your behavior is is good whether you should retire or not. I I'm not going to [31:49] comment on that. Um I do think that there are at least seven current [31:53] lawsuits against the township. These are just the tip of the iceberg and there [31:58] more to come. And I you got to clean this up, guys. You and Mike go to work [32:03] together and clean this up. Somehow settling with barb and all these people, [32:06] it's just wrong. You know, I I feel like an Indian on a reservation this [32:12] township, you know, as long as you keep your head down and keep your mouth shut, [32:15] you're fine. But if you open your mouth, then you're in trouble. Mrs. Rash denied [32:21] me to [clears throat] to be on the park and recreation committee because I had [32:26] challenged their zoning. You can't do that. [32:29] That's wrong. You said you were you weren't sure whether it was right or [32:33] not. Have you thought about that? [32:38] Have you thought about that? You deni you denied me the right to be on the [32:42] park and recreation committee because I had challenged your zoning in Forest [32:44] Grove. Is that correct? >> Not in Forest Grove. You challenge [32:47] » No, I challenged it in Forest. No, you're wrong. I absolutely not. [32:51] » Absolutely not. >> We've never an ongoing zoning challenge. [32:58] that's growing on. >> That's right. [33:00] » Um and it's challenging the township zoning ordinance. [33:02] » Right. Yeah. >> And you've had plenty of chances with [33:05] Mike to solve that and you don't want to for six lots on 30 acres. You don't want [33:10] to do that, right? >> No. [33:11] » Well, I'm not going to let them get into negotiations, but that's the fact I'm [33:16] not going to let you get into settlement negotiations with you. That's [33:19] » I'm saying my opinion is what's going I'm willing to do that, Greg. That's not [33:23] a law. That's what I would be willing to do. There are discussions, as you know, [33:27] going on between your lawyers and the tours and everything else. So, [33:30] » Mike, how many Mike, how many homes has your family built in Buckingham [33:34] Township? >> I've never built one, John. [33:36] » Not one. >> How many did your family build? [33:38] » I don't know, John. My father's passed away, John. Don't bring it up. [33:44] » Okay. >> Okay. [33:45] » Out of respect for my father, I've never subdivided property and been offered. I [33:50] gave up over $6 million to preserve a farm up by the airport. [33:55] and I want to build some houses >> for my employees and you can't even do [33:59] it. >> And now we're in all sorts of [34:02] litigation. I'm done with that. Maggie, you need to apologize to me for not [34:06] letting me on that board. >> Do you think you were wrong? [34:11] » I'm not apologizing to you. >> Okay. So, you you think my civil rights [34:15] were not violating? >> You can't do that. Look, look, we're not [34:19] going to get into respondation. >> I want everybody to hear how this [34:24] country is run. I can do that. >> Say whatever you want, right? You [34:28] absolutely can. But I'm not going to let them engage with you in that kind of [34:31] stuff. >> Okay. Well, I'm talking to them. [34:34] » Okay. >> I'm just telling you how people get [34:36] treated in this township. >> It's not right. [34:41] » And you've not apologized. So, John, I I I just hope that you stay. I really do. [34:45] And I hope that you find your way back to where you need to be, where you were [34:49] 20 years ago when you, Maggie, Maggie, came in. It was great. You guys were [34:53] great for the first 10 years. And then I don't know what happened. [34:57] I really don't know what happened. [snorts] [35:00] And I I'm not going to say anything why. I just [35:03] » You just said you got $6 million for your property from the [35:06] » No, I gave up the $6 million. >> Gave up. Okay. Whatever. [35:09] » Yeah. I bought I bought it when I was >> 32 years old. I took $170,000 mortgage [35:15] out on the property. I was offered $8 million of a property and took two. [35:20] » Now, find fault with that. >> No, we were very we respected that. Yep. [35:24] That was >> And then I And I'm not going I'm not [35:26] going to correct. And then I go over here and do the most basic thing and I [35:30] can't even get a thumb back. I can't get anything. I'll bring the Texas if you [35:33] want me to when you wouldn't even meet with me. [35:38] It's not right. You guys got to change. You just can't treat people like myself [35:43] like garbage. You know, you you make us spend hundreds [35:46] and hundreds of thousands of dollars to do the most basic things. Settle this [35:51] thing. Do something. Do something right. John, you know better. [35:54] » Yeah. You could have built all the homes you wanted. [35:58] » That's right. No, it's all right. >> It's okay. [36:00] » Yeah. >> But I am asking for Maggie for an [36:01] apology for not letting in the park. You How can people speak up? [36:06] » I was reluctant to speak up because who knows what you're going to do. What are [36:09] you going to do? never reluctant to speak up, Mike. [36:12] » Oh, I've spoken up three times in 35 or 40 years. I'm not a I don't come here. [36:18] How many John? How many times have you ever seen me at a meeting speaking up? [36:21] » Just the past six meetings and before that twice. [36:25] » Nope. Nope. Not at all. >> Because it's just, you know, I just got [36:28] kind of fed up. >> You know, all these people, all these [36:30] lawsuits and everything, after a while, it's like, you know what? Why am I doing [36:34] this? Why am I farming in this township? >> It's not You don't get sued over [36:39] farming. You get sued over development. That's what you get sued over. [36:42] » I'm I'm not suggesting that you're going out and chasing farmers down. [36:46] » Yeah. >> Yeah. [36:47] » Mike wasn't sued. Yeah. >> Okay. [36:50] » Mike [clears throat] brought a zoning challenge against the township zoning [36:53] boards in front of the zoning hearing board. That's where this is. We [36:56] shouldn't be discussing. >> It's at right now [36:59] » and it's trying to get resolved. >> Okay. [37:02] Well, again, it's hard for me to believe that you would not allow me to be on a [37:07] park and recreation committee because I spoke out about something that makes [37:12] What does that say to the residents here who might want to say something? There's [37:15] probably 20 or 30 people who aren't here tonight who are afraid to speak up. [37:21] » What does that say to other people? >> Why don't you let some of the other [37:25] people speak up? [clears throat] >> Well, give them time. [37:29] » Okay. I'm not going to apologize to you and [37:35] we're starting stopping public comment now. It's been it's been no it's been 35 [37:41] minutes and I said at the top we have public comment for 30 minutes. We start [37:46] our business meeting and we'll we'll continue public comment at the end of [37:51] the meeting. It's been 35 minutes. >> You apologize to Prolix. [37:57] » Have you apologized Mike? [38:03] You lied about him. That was written in your apology to the prolife. Now, [38:10] have you apologized to Mike? You lied about him. [38:18] Will you apologize to him >> or does he have to sue you to get an [38:24] apology? >> I would suggest that's a matter between [38:27] the two of them. I would suggest it's a he should give a [38:32] public apology. >> We We hear you. We hear what you're [38:36] suggesting. >> Yeah. [38:37] » You hear me? >> Does he hear me? [38:40] » I think the whole board's heard. >> I think everybody in the audience is [38:43] hurt. >> Here's his time. Stand up and apologize [38:46] to him. >> I think again that's probably something [38:49] they should deal with. >> This has nothing to do with you. [38:52] » I'm just telling you, Mr. Carl, that's >> stand up and apologize to this man. [38:57] [clears throat] [39:01] You lied about him. [39:05] » Just apologize. >> If you don't want to do it in the [39:08] public, you just do it in the back room. [applause] [39:14] Okay. Hold on. Um, how many other people want [39:20] to have public comment? If is it like one or two? [39:25] Lucy, you want public comment? >> Shannon wants public. Otherwise, we're [39:30] going to start our business meeting. >> Okay. [39:32] » And we'll finish public comment at the end of the meeting. I announced that in [39:35] the beginning. It's always at the top of the agenda. So, we'll have two more [39:40] people and then that's it until after our meeting and it's a pretty quick [39:44] meeting. Go ahead. I with all these apologies all of a sudden for no reason [39:50] at all came to my head that I did something very very bad when I was 17 [39:56] years old. I actually came out of a communist country and I crossed the [40:00] minefield to get out of there without any permission. [40:04] Other than that I'm perfect. Never did anything wrong. I swear that's [40:10] » wrong. [40:16] Hi. Um, my name is Shannon Sticker, 4519 Kevin Court. Um, thank you for extending [40:21] this. I apologize I wasn't able to get here in time. Um, I serve as the chair [40:27] of Buckingham Democrats. In that role, our organization has [40:35] and our candidates have experienced lies and [40:42] falsehoods and slander. [40:47] And before anyone says it goes both ways, let me assure you it does not. We [40:54] are very careful with what we put out. We are very careful to do our research [41:00] and I would like to ask John on behalf of our organization to please resign. [41:06] Thank you. >> Is that coming from you or your boss [41:09] Santa? >> That's coming from me and our local [41:12] organization. >> Okay. Thanks, SHANE. [41:15] [applause] [41:20] » I'll just say Hold on. I was going to ask you if you'd like a comment. [41:24] » Sure. Um, [41:28] I guess I'll just close this down since I know we love banners here. [41:35] Uh, this is a this was a post from John posted back in 2011 [41:41] on his Facebook page. >> Yeah, that's about right. It says, [41:48] "When a campaign is run with lies and deceit, candidates will govern and lie [41:55] in deception. Slander and desperation does not win an election. It's about the [42:02] issues and the record." >> Y um so that's [applause] right. [42:12] To John, these are your own words. When a campaign is run with lies and [42:16] deceptions, that candidate will govern in lies and deception. You have now [42:21] admitted that while serving as supervisor and seeking re-election, you [42:24] spread false accusations of corruption and quidd pro crow quid proquo on [42:30] conversations that never happened. Years ago in 2011, you stood at this dis and [42:35] you called for on a fellow supervisor to resign if he could not do what was best [42:39] for the township. By your own words and your own standard, I believe there's [42:43] only one appropriate action left. John, you should resign as Buckingham Township [42:48] Supervisor. Thank you. [applause] [42:56] » Okay. Um, and I just have a a quick comment and that's what a lot of what [43:02] this is swirling around and the issues. It has to do with zoning and [43:08] conservation easements. And I think we pretty much tried to share that tonight. [43:13] Um, our zoning ordinance is so important. It's important to all of us [43:17] and I really think it's the one of the main reasons that probably everybody in [43:22] this room moved here. Uh, you don't have a gas station in the middle of [43:28] Hearthstone or one of the other developments because the zoning doesn't [43:32] allow it. um your neighbor has to be uh diligent and not put a fence on your [43:38] property instead of, you know, impeding onto your property because of the SAO [43:44] and the zoning, the conservation easement. [43:48] Um this is our this is our list of preserved properties, 6,000 acres. [43:59] We have someone challenging their conservation easement. [44:04] And one of the issues that's part of this whole discussion tonight is about [44:12] violating a conservation issue and challenging it. And you know what? [44:19] If one of those um especially the challenge to the to the one conservation [44:25] easement, if the conservation easement is overturned, [44:30] every single one of these properties is up for grabs. [44:37] Every single one. Don't you know you can shake your head. It's not true. You [44:42] cannot. We have never opened a conservation easement and ch and and [44:48] overturned it. And we never ever want to stop any of this. [44:54] This is what makes Buckingham green. [applause] [45:03] [applause] Okay. Concert. Let's see what's [45:06] happening here. >> Um, family fun concert series. Uh this [45:12] tomorrow, Thursday, um 700 p.m. there updated schedule. Is it going to the [45:18] springs or not? >> We don't know yet. [45:20] » Okay. >> The weather's not supposed to be nice. [45:22] » Okay. It's up to the weather. Um plan plan on coming to enjoy the [45:28] Buckingham Night Market um at Holly Punk Park. That's Friday night and September [45:34] 25th 5:30 to 8:30. >> Uh quick just I want to add a couple of [45:38] things on that. Sure. So, uh, some really great stuff. Uh, like Lee said, [45:42] uh, mentioned earlier, we do have, um, we have Mardle's holiday farm coming. We [45:46] have N such coming. We have Slack Farm there. There are a bunch more farms [45:50] coming. Okay. >> Which is great. Um, we've also added [45:53] another really great kid activity. Uh, since there was a long line for kid [45:57] activities, we've added the Twill um, uh, trolley. We've and and she is coming [46:02] for free of charge marked for marketing exposure only. We've also added um dog [46:09] adoptions. We've added uh quite a few other really great things. And I know [46:13] one of the big pain points was finding parking. Um so we have worked with the [46:17] police in the township as well to try and figure out a parking uh solution [46:20] that should be able to accommodate everybody without having to cross 202 [46:24] » and safely >> and safely. [46:26] » So um I'm really excited for Friday. I think uh one of the the biggest things [46:31] that we've learned was uh how many people want something like this and how [46:35] great it is to bring all of our neighboring communities together and how [46:38] much fun it is to interact with each other and um it's clearly something that [46:42] that was wanted. People turned out and so we're addressing that moving forward [46:46] and and trying to make sure we can accommodate everyone that shows up. So, [46:48] thank you. >> Okay. Uh Buckingham Township [46:52] Administration offices will be closed September 7th in obser in observance of [46:57] Labor Day. >> Am I hot right there? [46:59] » The the comprehensive plan workshop number one is going to be on Tuesday, [47:04] September 15th, 206 here 7 to 9 in the Buckingham room here. And a program by [47:12] EAC, Discover the Meadows of Buckingham, an informative evening with Tyler Kovac. [47:19] um from Heritage Conservancy and that'll be here on September 18th, 2026 from [47:26] 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Okay. Number three, I move that we approve payment request [47:33] number two to Bloomington Glenn Contractors, Inc. for completed work on [47:37] the Cold Spring Crearyy on the Cold Spring Well. Number four, radon and PFO [47:43] PFOS removal contract BT2501 in the amount of [47:49] $7,28145. [47:54] » You want to do these? >> I can do them all. all together [47:56] » and payment number uh one request number one from GS developers for work [48:02] completed on the furlong well F8 PFA PFA PFAS removal project in the amount of [48:10] $27,000 um payment number one request to GS [48:15] developers inc for work completed on the furlong well FAP FAS removal project [48:21] electrical contract for4 4,500 [48:28] and um approving the change order number two for the Cold Spring Field Stone [48:35] Water Interconnect, increasing the contract by $8,900 [48:40] to a new contract of 1,796,534. [48:48] Another one more >> and uh payment request number 11 to GS [48:53] developers on the Cold Spring Fieldstone again water interconnect BT2402 in the [49:00] amount of 98, uh $11.50. [49:05] That's it. >> Second, and we just want to note that um [49:09] all that is paid for by um anyone that has water or sewer and not by the [49:16] general fund. And and Dana, won't our uh our grant [49:20] money cover a lot of this? >> Yes. [49:23] » The the one for the furlong well F8 FOS removal project is fully covered through [49:30] grant money. The cold spring well number four um is uh twothirds of it covered by [49:39] grant money. And uh the cold stone cold spring field stone water inc [49:46] interconnect is also covered by grants that we rece [49:51] uh a couple weeks ago on a $2 million grant from Y. So you may want to share [49:57] that with folks. >> Yep. [50:01] » Right now. >> Sure. [50:03] » We signed it. [laughter] [gasps] [50:05] » Yes. Um I don't have the the figure in front of me but um the exact figure but [50:12] yes we we went for uh we actually have our next application in but we went for [50:18] a penvest grant for Cold Spring 4 PAS removal system um which we were uh [50:25] received um I don't have the numbers in front of me $2 million grant and a low [50:31] interest road. Thank you for having that in front of you. Um, and uh, so [50:38] » low interest loan >> and a low interest for that. And then do [50:43] do you have the F8 in front of you? There's that. That's the [50:48] » uh, I have the one we just did. >> And the F the F8 is the $2.4 million [50:53] grant. >> 2,435,000. [50:56] Yeah. >> Yes. All good. [50:58] » That we just >> All good. [51:00] » Got a week and a half ago. So, >> Yep. Okay. All in favor? [51:05] » I >> I um I move that we approve approve the [51:08] payroll for July 30th, 2026 and August 13th, 2026 and the bill list for August [51:17] 26, 2026 in the amount of 1,355 355,76.9. [51:25] » Second. >> All in favor? I [51:28] » I I move that we approve the draft supervisor minutes from July 21st, 2026 [51:35] work session and the July 21st, 2026 regular business meeting. So, [51:43] uh, all in favor? >> I [51:45] » I. >> Number five, I move that we accept [51:49] various departmental dis departmental minutes and advisory board [51:53] minutes, including building and zoning monthly stats for July. Um, [51:59] environmental advisory commission, our EAC for May 20th and June 17, 2026. [52:06] Park and wreck, July 20th, 26. Safety Committee 2020 20 July 2026 and historic [52:13] commission July 16th 2026. >> Second. [52:17] » Uh all in favor? I >> I I move that we agree to the developers [52:22] request for extension a time to September 11, 2027 [52:27] uh to complete improvements um set forth in the residential development contract [52:33] uh covering Mil Creek Ridge/Smith Viper phase 1 and phase 2 township file [52:41] SA201-05C. >> I'll second, but I have a question. So, unfortunately, we again were [55:14] not awarded the multimodal um grant for our trail system um that's [55:20] connecting to the new roundabout that Pendot is building. Um they're opening [55:25] up a new one and I'm just going to be incredibly persistent and annoying until [55:30] they give us that grant. Okay. >> So, I put it right back in and we'll put [55:34] it in on September 14th, the day that it opens up again. [55:39] » Good. Good. >> Thank you. Okay. All in favor? [55:42] » I >> I All right. [57:26] » Oh yeah. >> No, I'm talking. [57:35] » Yep. Yep. Yep. You're right. I apologize. [57:38] I thought we were going back to 2006. Um anyway, [57:43] » here. >> Uh I moved that we we release $254,275. [57:50] » Second. >> Okay. All in favor? [57:53] » I >> I Oh, we got some manager items. [57:57] » Um, and is this the waiver? >> Yeah, we approved Steve Terill's. [58:02] » Yeah. >> Well, you you want to do it now? You're [58:06] going to do it now. You discussed it at your work session. [58:08] » We did. We discussed this in the work session before the meeting started. [58:12] » Um, and Craig, I think you have to add some things into my motion because [58:18] » I didn't write it down. I think what we're doing is moving to approve for [58:23] waiver of land development >> uh submitted by Stevenville Jr. [58:29] um to construct additional two offices above an existing structure within the [58:34] existing garage footprint at 3681 Court Spring Creek Road and I think Dan uh the [58:42] waiverss would accommodate them and correct me if I'm wrong so they would [58:45] not have to get zoning bill. >> Correct. [58:47] » Correct. >> Okay. [58:48] » Okay. Thank you. >> Second. [58:50] » Okay. All in favor? I I >> I move that we authorize the purchase of [58:55] a 2026 F-150 police responder 4x4 from Fred Beans Ford in the amount of [59:03] $50,249. [59:23] » Second. >> Now [59:24] » you got a second. >> Okay. [59:26] » This was in the budget, right? >> Yes. And this is um this is a police [59:33] vehicle. It is the vehicle that holds our scales. Um so uh they [59:43] at which are rather heavy and will be well we'll be hauling truck scales other [59:49] gear and equipment in the truck. Um so this motor uh will work best. It's a 3.5 [59:56] L EcoBoost motor. Um so it's uh they stopped production on the electric [1:00:02] vehicles. We're also a little concerned about the electric vehicles because the [1:00:06] amount of equipment. Um we also just how heavy the MAP um units scales are. Um [1:00:17] this looks like the best for that need for the police department. And um they [1:00:23] did adjust I asked them something with that um [1:00:29] and uh they're actually doing away with the electric F-150s. [1:00:36] » Okay, >> is what they were told. But this one, [1:00:39] even though, you know, that would be possibly problematic with all of their [1:00:43] equipment anyway, um we really need the the heavy duty of this 4x4 [1:00:50] um for our scales. >> Jane, do you have any questions? [1:00:55] » Yeah, I was going to ask. >> No, I appreciate it. I I just recalled [1:00:58] from that previous meeting that they had where you had a wonderful presentation [1:01:03] from the environmental advisory committee and then you had approved a [1:01:06] truck later that night and they were kind of like passing ships in the night [1:01:11] and I just would hope whether it's emergency vehicle or not that in the [1:01:15] future it doesn't matter how much how many other green things we're doing that [1:01:20] we at least evaluate the feasibility of getting more a more fuel efficient [1:01:28] vehicle. I mean, lead by example >> and and and and we do I I I may have [1:01:34] come off differently from that. I I do tell my staff to look for the green [1:01:39] vehicle first. So, in every single vehicle we purchase, we look at can we [1:01:45] get a green vehicle. So, I don't know what meeting you were at. I don't think [1:01:50] it was this meeting that you're talking about. [1:01:52] » Year ago. It was a year ago, >> but it's an environmental [1:01:56] the EAC meeting >> in this meeting that the environmental [1:01:59] advisory committee had a nice presentation. [1:02:02] » Okay. >> And you would [1:02:03] » Oh. Oh, okay. >> multiple points that you were committed [1:02:06] to like that. [1:02:11] » Oh, you are you talking? >> Oh, the Yeah, that I worked on that [1:02:16] plan. The climate action plan. Yes. Yes. Okay. [1:02:20] » But it was a meeting where a truck was purchased and we [clears throat] were [1:02:23] told it wasn't green and kind of it was just unfortunate in in the timing that [1:02:31] but I appreciate what you said Dana that you leave with green and vote there. [1:02:35] » Yes. >> Well, and you just read that both of the [1:02:37] those that got in and the thing next thing we're going to approve they've [1:02:41] discontinued the >> Well, the next thing is a hybrid. [1:02:45] It's just not a fully green electric vehicle. [1:02:48] » The ne the next vehicle we're approving. >> Yeah, the the the next vehicle is a [1:02:52] hybrid. the intersection >> which is where we've been moving. [1:02:55] » Right. Good. >> So, it's half and half. [1:02:57] » Good. Perfect timing. I'm glad you're here. [1:03:00] » Um, all right. The next one. I move that we authorize the purchase. [1:03:03] » I don't think we have >> Oh. Oh, no. All in favor? [1:03:05] » I >> I [1:03:07] » um I move that we authorize the purchase of a 2027 Ford police interceptor [1:03:12] utility vehicle uh from Chapman Fleet and Government in [1:03:16] the amount of $47,34. Price includes co-stars discount PA [1:03:22] Co-Star plus uplifting from CKD Tyron Tyron's Emergency Vehicle Uplifting Inc. [1:03:29] in the amount of 20,82627. [1:03:34] Oh god, seven. >> All in favor? [1:03:38] » I >> I think that's it. [1:03:41] » Okay. >> Um is there any more public comments? [1:03:44] Um, one thing you want to note is that we did start at 4:45 [1:03:49] for um, an executive session. >> Oh, that's right. We had executive [1:03:54] session to discuss um, litigation. >> Mhm. [1:03:58] » And that's it. >> Yeah. Thank you. [1:04:03] » Public, [1:04:10] » not conversation, comment. Two months ago, I spoke when you denied [1:04:16] me the right to be on this committee. I hesitate. I've watched the whole thing. [1:04:20] I think Can I ask you why none of that was in the minutes? [1:04:25] » I I'm not I'm not going to have this conversation with you, Mike. [1:04:29] » I'm asking you a very basic question. You're supposed to put Why wouldn't you [1:04:32] put that in the minutes? I want you on the record. [1:04:35] » Okay. On the record, I denied my I I personally voted against it because of [1:04:41] Where did Craig go? >> Well, I you know I mean how many times [1:04:46] ways do we have to say >> minutes are in a transcript and not [1:04:50] saying >> posted? I don't think so. [1:04:53] » All our minutes are posted. >> I don't think so. [1:04:56] » All our minutes. >> All of the board of supervisors minutes [1:04:59] should be posted. >> Well, can you look? I don't think it was [1:05:02] ever in there. The denial. >> Maybe it's not in there. We'll have to [1:05:05] go back and look. >> Well, I you know, I look. [1:05:07] » Okay. >> Now, are you going to put in [1:05:09] » We'll go on the website and all the minutes. [1:05:12] » The board can't go back and and and change minutes from months ago. [1:05:16] » Let's have the discussion now so we can put it on. [1:05:18] » I'm not having the discussion. >> Hey, Mike. [1:05:20] » I'm not having the discussion. It's under it's under litigation. [1:05:25] It's not under litigation. My reason is is because of litigate of the attack. [1:05:30] » This is public this is public comment. This is public comment. [1:05:33] » That's it. So, >> you know, if you're going to be I'll [1:05:36] just >> I mean, keep talking, but I'm telling [1:05:38] you, I'm not going to comment a lawyer and ask you for it. I really [1:05:42] » I'm not going to comment on it. >> We're going to have the zoning hearing [1:05:46] board decision in two weeks, >> couple months ago. [1:05:51] » Yeah, that's wrong. >> I don't think it was June, though. I'm [1:05:54] just trying I I see. I'm just curious. >> Yeah, I don't remember all there. [1:06:00] » Thank you all for coming to the meeting. >> Anybody else? Oh, I'm sorry. You're not [1:06:04] finished. Go ahead. >> I'm just asking to check and see and I'm [1:06:07] just wondering why. I mean, you have an obligation. [1:06:09] » I told you. >> I don't know. We have all the minutes. [1:06:11] I'm not going to talk about it. >> Questioning your decision. I'm asking [1:06:16] that it be posted. So, you're on the record for denying me that and how you [1:06:19] operate for people who speak. >> That's what I want. That's all. [1:06:23] » Yeah. I don't think I think when we voted on the board, we had a lot of [1:06:26] really wonderful people that applied for that board, but I don't think we voted [1:06:32] on why we didn't want someone on there. We just voted on who should be [1:06:35] » on board agree. We weren't voting. That was my my choice. I gave my choice. [1:06:41] » You guys are You guys have a disagreement and you're not going to [1:06:43] work it out tonight? >> No, I'm not asking. [1:06:45] » And we're not and we're not going to work it out in the public meeting. [1:06:48] » You know, that's all I'm asking. >> Yeah. If if we're going to we'll look [1:06:53] back. Lori has a transcript, but I don't think we had a reason on why we wanted [1:06:57] or didn't want to. >> She said the reason was because I [1:07:01] challen >> I explicitly asked why Maggie was [1:07:04] denying Mike the right to be on the board or for being on for exercising his [1:07:09] legal right to challenge zoning. Um, and and [1:07:13] » you're actually talking about a we're we're in a we [1:07:17] we're in a lawsuit over this right now. And you're talking about [1:07:20] » No, we're not we're not in a lawsuit. It's a challenge at the zoning hearing [1:07:23] board. Okay. And Craig has advised us not to discuss this because [1:07:29] the zoning hearing board is going to issue their decision [1:07:35] » next week. [clears throat] The next week or the week after. [1:07:38] » That's not the issue. >> Yes, it is. It's not the issue. You have [1:07:41] a right to speak out and be heard and recorded. That's all it is. [1:07:45] » I'm not suing you. >> And you didn't do it. [1:07:49] » I won't even get into the essay. Hey, that's You haven't even done that. I'm [1:07:52] not going there. >> So, are you are you going to do that or [1:07:57] not? That's all I want to know. >> I would I would advise the board not to [1:08:02] go back and redo minutes. Minutes are a general thing in a recording of, you [1:08:07] know, of of decisions of financial things of we just bought a police car. [1:08:12] We just did that. >> I'm not commenting on it. [1:08:16] » So, are we are we Mike? >> You have your answer. I'm not commenting [1:08:21] on it. Anybody else in the audience? You you hear my answer and you can think of [1:08:27] me what you will. I'm not commenting on it. It's an issue before the My reason [1:08:32] is an issue before the zoning hearing board. We're not We're not commenting on [1:08:36] it. It's legal. [1:08:39] » You have an obligation to post. >> Oh, for God's sakes. Shut up. [laughter] [1:08:45] » It was me. >> Okay. [1:08:47] » You You just constantly TAKE OVER THIS WHOLE MEETING. [1:08:50] » She said she's not going to comment. She's not going to comment. I'll sit [1:08:53] down. >> It's public comment. Yeah. It's not [1:08:56] supervisor comment. In fact, I think we're we're wrapping up this meeting and [1:09:00] we have some uh >> the conversation [1:09:02] » we have some legal issues to discuss. >> The conversation was that Maggie wanted [1:09:06] me to be on the Department of Recreation Board and she mentioned why she did and [1:09:10] it was never posted and I asked him why. >> But this is this is here. No, this is [1:09:15] hearsay from Mike. If Maggie says something to Mike and then Mike runs to [1:09:19] you, that's not our problem. You guys have to work that out. Mike, we don't [1:09:23] know what Mike hears. Craig could shake. >> He wasn't It's not even part of it. [1:09:29] » What's that? >> You're not part of this. [1:09:31] » Yeah, he said he told Mike told him. That's what he's saying. [1:09:35] » Mike told him something that we had in it. [1:09:38] » Videap tell [1:09:47] the videape. >> Anybody? Okay. I'm going to close the [1:09:50] meeting >> and we're going into [1:09:52] » Did you have your hand up? Yeah, I just had a question. As someone [1:09:56] new to these meetings, is that >> Daniel can get up and tell Lori your [1:10:00] name? >> Tell you have to tell Lori your your [1:10:02] name and address right here. Give it to >> Hi, I'm Patricia Smallcom, 2590 Furlong [1:10:07] Road, Doylestown. Uh, just a question. Is public comment recorded in the [1:10:12] minutes? >> Yes. [1:10:13] » Yes. Okay. So, it's not just decisions, it's also public comment. [1:10:17] » It's public. >> Yes. But it's not minutes are not [1:10:20] transcripts. It's It's not like having a court reporter. So, not you know, it's [1:10:25] you you record the general, >> you know, [1:10:28] » technically you only have to do action items. [1:10:31] » Yeah. We don't even have to do that. We do a little bit more than we have to [1:10:34] because it's good for people to be able to go back and read and they get a [1:10:38] little bit more out of it. >> Thank you. [1:10:40] » Yeah. >> Yeah. Okay. [1:10:42] » All right. I'm going to make a motion that we close the business meeting and [1:10:46] go back and have an executive session to discuss litigation. [1:10:51] » Second. >> Okay. Questions, comments? All in favor? [1:10:56] » Thank you for coming. >> Thank you. [1:10:59] God.
