I'm in the purchase, I'm in the process of purchasing [20:29] this property. So contingent on the finding that [20:34] that, that we can potentially bill [20:39] the um, [20:43] so you're in the process of purchasing the 20 acre, the 20 acres [20:47] yes sir. Plate and someone else owns the rest of it. Um, [20:51] it was 74 plus acres in total were [20:55] sectioned and surveyed out and the first three have already been purchased. [21:00] oh, the first three have already been purchased by 14. And the first two 20 mine's [21:05] the one that's gonna be closest to jordan. Okay. The [21:09] buck . Um, [21:14] yes, whatever you all set in stone for it. I think maybe [21:18] a couple of butchers and trees along this, along the line [21:23] to the adjacent property. Um, whatever you all want to, if you [21:27] all want to put tanya, put some shrimp, a few trees up [21:31] in your, um, preliminary planning. Mrs. [21:35] is there any, um, plans for, um, some type of, any type of buffering [21:40] to the adjacent? Yes sir. Certainly it, it was clear cut a few years [21:44] ago. Yes sir. Probably the first, uh, 10 or 12 acres toward [21:49] two 60 and replanted in pines. And we're going to leave a buffer on each [21:53] side of the property lines of the pines and um, it'll all be fenced [21:57] in and we'll probably have some buffer in the front as well other than the access [22:01] point. People coming and going. Okay, thanks. Is this right before you get to [22:06] jordan? Yes sir. Yes sir. It's, uh, just past the [22:10] ards business that does the rod holders and things right there. Bump road, [22:14] the 14 acre track, actually bump road goes right through the middle of that. Yeah. [22:19] any other questions or comments? Commissioners? [22:24] mr. Chairman, I make a motion that we approve pz 25 20 25 [22:30] dash 30 highway two 60. [22:36] sir, have a motion by commissioner johnson and [22:41] a second, second by commissioner durant. Um, we [22:45] need to include that, that site claim, site plan, cont plan. [22:49] we plan. Okay. Alright. You want to change that up a little bit just [22:53] to add? Okay. Well I'd just like to add, sir, uh, you know that this is just zoning and [22:57] when you come back you're gonna have to adhere to the site plan. You're gonna have to have that ready [23:01] to present. Yes, sir. So again, mr. Chairman, I make a motion that [23:05] we approve pz 2025 dash 30 highway two 60, [23:10] uh, mr. Hines, uh, and that he will, uh, be required to [23:15] adhere to the, the, uh, the site with [23:19] the site plan, with the buffering and all that they require. Will [23:25] second I have a motion by commissioner johnson and, um, second by [23:29] commissioner durant. All in favor? Aye. Any opposed? And [23:33] ayes have it, sir. Uh, mr. Hyatt can come by the office [23:37] anytime after 12 on thursday and the staff will help [23:42] you with your, you along your way. Alright. Thank you sir. You're welcome. [23:50] next on our agenda is the consideration of a proposed road concept plan [23:55] along joe rogers boulevard and the, uh, ram bay, cla county [23:59] industrial park. And you, you've, uh, have that in your package. [24:04] um, uh, are there any questions or comments about, [24:08] uh, uh, the proposed road concept? [24:14] you can, uh, they [24:18] are proposing to extend joe rogers boulevard out to, uh, george [24:22] harbin road. Mm-hmm . And they're also showing, [24:27] uh, a road, um, uh, commissioners, [24:31] uh, in between the new hundred thousand square foot spec [24:36] building and the next proposed spec building. [24:44] any question or comment? [24:51] I mentioned to tabitha, uh, gentleman that, um, the [24:55] proposed the future road between the, uh, [25:00] existing a hundred thousand square foot spec building and the future spec building, [25:05] it doesn't show on this drawing, but I'm sure they have some plans for, [25:09] uh, a turnaround because presently as you are looking at it, it [25:13] goes straight in and it's nowhere to turn around. And for prior [25:18] protection and these type eems and [25:22] rescue, this has to be some way for [25:26] them to turn around and get out. And so, uh, I'm sure this being [25:31] a preliminary, uh, uh, drawing that that will be, [25:35] uh, included in the final claims. Yes, mr. Chairman? [25:39] it will. Um, and also, um, the, um, county [25:44] engineer has reviewed the site plan in detail and [25:48] he has provided his approval on this project. [25:54] so, um, with the turnaround. With the turnaround, okay. [26:00] of course, your pleasure. Commissioners. So what, what do you, what what [26:04] is our job in this? I mean, you all, um, as your role, [26:08] you are all approving, um, this request for the extension of this, um, [26:13] roadway. A motion approve. Have [26:17] a motion by commissioner, um, prothro and a second by commissioner johnson. [26:22] uh, any other question or comment? All in favor say [26:26] aye. Aye. Any opposed? Any ayes habit? [26:37] we do not need to be going into executive [26:42] session this evening. And so, uh, uh, there [26:46] is no chairman's report and so I'll turn it over to, [26:50] um, our staff or our building department report. [26:55] chairman, you've been chairman, [27:02] excuse me. Four. I'll have something, I'll [27:07] have something mary to say at the christmas party. Alright. [27:14] the july, 2025 revenue report was revised and is included [27:18] in your packet. The valuation [27:26] and revenue report for august indicates that our office is issued, issued 80 [27:30] permits and conducted a total of 181 inspections. [27:35] the total inspection scope, I didn't get the total inspections, um, [27:40] in my report. For the year? Yes, but, um, [27:44] so far, I'm sorry, are 1,464. We [27:48] have done 1,464 inspections [27:53] this year. Thank you ma'am. [27:58] and I'll turn it over, uh, um, to [28:02] our director tab for her report. I don't have, [28:06] um, nothing official, mr. Chairman. However, I do have, um, that we [28:10] do have a new, um, well, he's not actually new, but we do [28:14] have a code enforcement office. So that position has been filled. It has [28:18] been filled by mr. Eric house. Mr. House is, um, he [28:22] previously was with the assessor's office as the, as an property inspector [28:26] and he started with the planning department on yesterday, on september the 15th. [28:31] and, um, he will be attending the next meeting so that we can formally introduce [28:35] him to you all. That's all I have. [28:40] any other questions or comments, commissioners? If [28:44] not, I'd entertain a motion to adjourn. Mr. Chairman, I move. We adjourn. Mr. Comm. [28:48] motion to adjourn by commissioner johnson and will second by commissioner proto. [28:53] all in favor.
