[0:00] All right, it is 9:00 a.m. the 20 or no [clears throat] [0:09] » of August 2026. Um, we're here to discuss budgets. [0:15] [snorts] So, with that, we'll go ahead and call the meeting to order and [0:19] we have some um [0:24] guests, I guess. [laughter] Uh, Lois Libran, [0:28] » the Council on Aging. >> Council on Aging. [0:31] » Yeah. Dustin, Council on Aging, >> and Tim Ras [0:37] and >> the three commissioners and Christie. [0:47] » So, I was trying to figure out um, >> can we approve the agenda, please? [0:52] » Oh, sorry. >> I'll make a motion approve agenda. [0:55] » I'd second that. All in favor? >> I [0:59] know what >> how much per day we would save. Um, so [1:04] it's basically about $270 a day just averaged out. If you take the $70,000 [1:11] that we spent on meals, divide it by um 5 days time 52. And I know this is a lot [1:18] of general, but that's 260 days. Let's divide that by [1:25] into the 70,000. So, it's about $270 a day. And then times that times 52. [1:36] Is that 27 a day or a week? Should be a day. There's 260 days that [1:43] we serve. >> So, it'll be about $14,000 a year if we [1:48] cut one day theoretically. if my math is right. [1:55] » Okay. So then you got to remember usually about how much are you guys [1:58] charging then? >> Well, it was five, but I think it's gone [2:01] up a little bit now. We asked that at the last meeting, but I remember what [2:04] they said. Was it seven now that they charged? [2:08] » Yeah, it they just raised it. >> Yeah, they raised it because it's 15 [2:13] something we pay the hospital. >> Mhm. [2:17] So there if they're going to charge them seven that's half [2:20] » close to half but yeah so >> well yeah there's some people eligible [2:24] for free meals and stuff like that you have to take that in consider [2:28] » right yeah >> and some people pay more [2:32] » so but that's probably an average >> yeah let me [2:37] I can tell you what we did last year [2:43] » it kind of surprised me that even in Wolf point. They don't serve five meals [2:47] a day. I I was kind of surprised they only do two meals a week. [2:51] » Yeah, I was talking to Britney about it. She says, "I think there's maybe one [2:55] other that serves more than everybody else, but there's [2:59] not very many." [3:06] » Well, and maybe that's because it does come down to a budget issue in the [3:09] county. >> Yeah. [3:11] » Yeah. So that would save how much if you cut it down? [3:16] » So if you just cut one ding off, it would be $14,000 [3:20] to 28,000. Um, so let's say if you did three, [3:29] I should know this. 42,000 >> first [3:34] cut it down to 2 days. [3:45] That'll be a big change for a lot of people though if you do it from five to [3:48] two. >> Yeah. [3:51] » So, senior citizens contributions, that's just them. [3:55] » Mhm. >> And that was last year we brought in [3:58] $28,26. [4:02] And how much did we spend? How much did it cost for all the meals? [4:08] » Was it 69,000? >> 69,400. [4:16] » Is that the newest one? >> Oh, good question. [4:19] » I hate to cut it down to two right off the bat. I'd rather see that get cut to [4:23] three >> cuz you got six. It wouldn't be such a [4:26] big shock to those that come every day >> because maybe then I mean the meals are [4:32] pretty big and most most of them used to and I don't know how the meals are now [4:36] but they used to have enough that they would save to take home and they'd [4:39] either have at night or the next day. So if they had extra then they would have a [4:45] meal for the next day too. >> Well right now [4:50] » it's off $9,041 for the year that the county has to hone [4:54] up extract. Yeah. [4:58] » So, we're already under budget. >> Yeah. If we get 60,000 and we've spent [5:02] 69. >> Yeah. [5:04] I mean, that would really help in their budget. It would help the overall county [5:09] budget. I don't know what your feelings are, but I think that that's I hate to [5:13] see a lot of hours get cut because Jill is really good at she is really has [5:19] brought a lot of people in for activities. [5:23] um definitely has the personality for the job. I'll put it that way. [5:28] » Yeah, >> I don't know. That's how I feel. I [5:32] » agree. >> Yeah. The Feds last year paid 478 or [5:36] 47,596. [5:39] » Boy, that was way off. [5:44] » I was much more generous from them. >> Oh well. Well, our budget was for 60, [5:49] but >> yeah, 69 revenue. Yeah, cuz there's [5:54] that's kind of been cut down to >> Okay. So, figure it out what three meals [5:58] a day or three meals a week would be compared to I didn't bring. [6:03] » So, if you did like Monday, Wednesday, Friday, [cough and clears throat] [6:05] however many I'd have to go get the sheet, [6:08] » um those would all be the 15 09 cuz those are the ones the hospital does. [6:13] And then >> but Tuesday, don't you want to hang on [6:16] to Tuesday? >> Yeah, I would. [6:19] » It doesn't matter. >> And the thing is is if there's holidays, [6:22] lots of times they're on a Monday. So then they wouldn't serve a meal on a [6:25] Monday. So >> that you know the holidays that they [6:30] don't serve are usually on a Monday. But I don't [6:32] » Do you think the middle three days are more important than the end days? [6:37] » Well, and again, that doesn't matter >> for holidays and stuff like that. it it [6:41] it doesn't matter what days you guys choose. [6:44] » Um so even with if you cut down to 3 days, it'd be $42,000. [6:53] But then you couldn't count on that 28,000 from the seniors cuz that was for [6:58] 5 days. So you'd have to kind of prorrate that as well. [7:02] So equals five. Well, [snorts] if you cut just [7:07] $6,000, >> she had 67 mills, home delivered meals [7:12] last month and 171 [7:18] in the building. [7:23] » And then Flaxville, they had 51 over there. [7:25] » So, would that save a substantial amount in [7:30] Jill? What Jill is getting paid to home deliver them? I don't know how much she [7:34] gets paid, but >> it's a dollar per meal. [7:36] » A dollar per meal. >> Yeah, that was to offset gas. That's [7:42] » So that would save some if she didn't have to home deliver quite as many [7:46] meals, too. >> Yeah, [7:49] » it would. >> The home delivered has gone way way up. [7:52] I don't know if there's I don't know if the criteria is being followed like it [7:55] should be. >> Well, I don't know if anybody's doing [7:57] the assessment, but >> that's what I'm saying. I don't know if [7:59] there's anybody doing those. And if if you get the home delivered, they used to [8:03] go up in the winter time and down in the summer because of people didn't want to [8:06] get out in the winter time for ice or snow or whatever [8:10] » used to be actually people that are homebound and aren't running around [8:14] outside. >> Well, and we discussed that one time [8:16] about are they doing the assessment sheet when people get put on it. They [8:20] used to do it up at the hospital when Ann Roberts was there. she would do that [8:24] assessment and then send it to the center [8:29] um if they qualified. There was there is an assessment sheet and maybe we need to [8:33] go back to those home delivered and make sure those assessments get done because [8:38] it is costing more money to have them home delivered [8:43] » if they actually if they're yes if they're capable of getting out. The [8:47] reason they want them to get out is to the socialization with the other people. [8:53] It's it's just easier for them to just go to the door and pick up their meal. [8:56] » So, it looks like she's averaging about 10 meals [9:00] » a day, >> you know, 10 people that she delivers [9:03] meals to. >> Yeah. [9:04] » So, that would be like $10 extra each day for the delivery fee that you guys [9:10] have to pay then. >> And then some of these people I [9:15] know get out and about, but I don't I don't know. I know a lot of [9:21] people come in and pick up their meals [snorts] [9:23] » and that should be considered congregate though if that's happening [9:27] » which is their their >> privilege I guess. [9:31] » Yeah. They don't want to sit there and eat but [9:34] » and if they're not being delivered it shouldn't be considered home and I see [9:37] she's got >> a person on here that comes and picks [9:41] theirs up but she has it under home. >> Oh no it shouldn't be. At one time I did [9:46] some of the assessments when I was up here in the health department when they [9:49] would get a new person then I would go out and do those assessments and then we [9:54] just got busy cuz we weren't getting any money any income coming in and so it was [9:58] more of a donation than it was anything and then I just said I don't have I I [10:02] just didn't have time to do that anymore. [10:06] » If we cut meals do we lose our reimbursement? So it's really not a [10:10] Right. It's a >> Yeah. So, it's really not a cut. [10:15] » Yeah, cuz the less meals that I put on my sheet, the less money you get back. [10:22] So, yeah, it kind of washes itself out a little bit. The only thing that would be [10:27] doing is reducing the hours that Jill would have to be done. [10:36] » So, do you get the full reimbursement then? You know, [10:41] » they pay $7, but you don't get the full reimbursement. No. So, that would help [10:46] by cutting some meals in a way. >> Yeah, I guess if you look at that, [10:50] » it would a little bit anyway. It would cut that. [10:54] » It'd be nice if we got the full one. Then the people wouldn't have to donate [10:57] towards it >> because then the county wouldn't have to [11:00] put in near as much what the county's putting in. [11:03] » So, they only give us so much per meal. So they pay like seven and we've paid [11:10] 15, >> you know. I honestly don't know. In [11:12] reality, I've never >> would they pay us? [11:14] » And and the last two years we haven't done the budgets cor like we used to [11:18] where they would show us the revenue that we'd get in and whatever. They're [11:21] just like, "Oh, basically last year." >> It's like, "Okay." [11:26] » Because if they don't give you the full reimbursement that you were paying, then [11:29] the county's having to pay that money out. [11:30] » Well, then well, then you get the seniors that are paying part of it [11:33] though, too, >> right? So, [11:36] » but if they pay seven, but you're having to pay 15, are you getting you're not [11:40] getting a 15 back from the state? >> I don't think so. Let me go grab a [11:44] revenue sheet. Okay. >> And then plus any home delivered meals. [11:49] So, if you figure 10 people, there's >> $50 a month or a week. 50 a week. [11:56] » Mhm. >> That's not a whole lot when you figure [11:59] 52 weeks. Well, 50 * 52600. [12:05] » Yeah, it's kind of minimal when you're talking [12:10] 300,000 of the budget. >> Well, we can't cut it all out of yours. [12:15] [laughter] >> No, there isn't even that much to cut [12:17] out of it. >> No, even if you cut the whole thing. [12:20] » Yeah. >> Wouldn't be enough, [12:22] » right? [12:26] » Well, and we we didn't struggle this year, but we had a change in who's [12:29] preparing the meals, too. And that can change at any time if they decide not to [12:33] offer >> right [12:35] » to make the meals. >> Yeah. [12:36] » Yeah. >> Yeah. [12:37] » Then we would have to definitely do something [12:41] » cuz the What days does Rosa Marie do? They down to one day Wednesday. [12:46] » One day Wednesdays. >> Yeah. They had three days. Yeah. They [12:52] were overwhelmed. >> And then the hospital took it took it on [12:56] and they raised it to beat. Oh, >> well they're $2 what are they? $2 higher [13:01] or something like that. >> The hospital's higher than Rosemary. [13:04] » Yeah. >> Didn't it used to be the other way? [13:05] » Uhuh. No, they've always been higher. Okay. [13:09] » Not by much, but >> Okay. So, [13:14] I should have grabbed the April report. So, for April, they only gave us $788 [13:20] for the congregate meals and 525 for the home deliver. And I'm guessing that it's [13:26] about the same as what this was. You know, people [snorts] [13:29] » the state gave you that. >> So they didn't give as much. [13:32] » No, they don't give you much. >> Very little actually. [13:34] » So I think the county's having to put in quite a bit on Also, we had a modified [13:39] agreement for them and [13:44] they were originally giving us on the original contract 9,461 [13:49] revenue for the mills and it went down to 9,430. So it went downhill actually [13:55] on that one. Um on the home delivered it went up. So [14:00] basically it just changed $21 between the two of the uh so [14:05] » so you get a different revenue if they're home delivered or concrete [14:09] » apparently. >> Maybe there's less people is why [14:12] » I don't know where they're trying to offset the the delivery fee. [14:17] » You got more for the home delivered, right? [14:19] » Well, the delivery fee actually goes on to Jill's wages. Oh, [14:23] » so they don't see it other than where's my little report here? See, like here I [14:28] have to put the meals that we pay out and then this is the home delivered and [14:34] the the dollar goes on the administration part, the personnel. So [14:42] yeah, and they on that one [14:47] they only Oh, they did a pretty good job. They reimbursed us $1,400 [14:56] out of [14:59] 5,000 and some $1,400. [15:06] So, it really is a a pretty when you total the whole year, how much does the [15:12] county have to put in? Did you say was it 20,000 when you figured the whole [15:16] year in? >> Oh, I didn't. I think it was 25,000,000. [15:22] $77. >> Yeah. It's not counting payroll [15:25] [clears throat] and everything for just >> No, just the meal. [15:28] » Oh, yeah. Okay. >> And that's maybe why the other counties [15:32] don't operate any more day any more days of the week then. [15:35] » Mhm. >> Two. [15:38] » Yeah. I don't know how many go 5 days. And then a lot of the towns though also [15:44] are making the meals in house like I think Nasha does in house [15:50] » I think. And I think Wolf Point cooks theirs there too cuz they've got a [15:54] pretty good kitchen. >> Funny Woods [15:57] they're in the same building as the belly happy belly deli whatever that [16:02] » and I'm assuming the deli makes their milk. I don't know. [16:04] » Yeah, but Wolf Point's got a nice kitchen back there. So they cook. Yeah, [16:10] » but then you're paying people to make the mills, too. So, I mean, you [16:15] » think of it that way, too. >> Yeah. [16:17] » Who does them over in Flexville? Lady from Outlook still help them. [16:21] » Yep. Monkey works. >> Yeah. And they charge the least amount [16:26] of money for their meals. So, [16:32] » what do they charge for? >> Fantastic meals over there. I think I [16:35] talked to her and [clears throat] she's thinking of quitting [16:39] » 11 something. Yeah. >> Is that what the people [16:41] » she's on the verge of? >> No, they paid five or six I think for [16:45] that one. >> Well, one of the try to do the [16:48] » for some reason I always run across her in the grocery store and she just rings [16:52] me for not showing up. [laughter] >> Well, there you go. [16:58] » Yeah. Well, >> then she had to go to say, "Well, I'm [17:01] thinking of quitting." >> Yeah. So, [17:04] » she's been doing a lot of years. >> Yeah. Yeah, she has. [17:16] » She must cook it right there at the church, huh? [17:18] » She does. She does. Yeah. [17:24] » Yeah. Those old people don't mind going downstairs for that. [17:28] » No, they can make it up and down the stairs. They have [17:31] » I don't need that. Well, I don't think we're going to add anything to your [17:38] » deliberations. I know it's golfy. Is that what you're saying? [17:43] » Yeah. But I mean, I think that that'd be a good place to start because evidently [17:47] that's why the other counties are not providing 5 days a week. And I don't if [17:52] the people understand it's either this or we're going to have anything. We we [17:58] just need to do it. And if the time comes and there's ever a time you can [18:02] increase it, then increase it. >> Yeah. There may come a program down the [18:07] road that will reinforce it again. And >> I can move back up to four or five days. [18:14] » So when do we meet again? In October, don't we don't meet till October. Yeah. [18:22] » So then when you guys would decide where there's three days. [18:26] » Well, I can go a meeting anytime, I suppose. [18:30] for something like this. You may want to >> Yeah, you probably should. Maybe [18:36] » I don't know if we have any choice. >> No, [18:38] » you might want to pick your days, too. >> Yeah, we probably need to do that as [18:43] soon as you guys decide that if we definitely are going to do that, then we [18:47] probably need to make that swap right away being we're already into the new [18:52] year. Well, >> I really appreciate you guys coming in [18:54] and helping share the burden of this decision. [18:58] I wouldn't want your job. [laughter] >> This is a tough one. This is the worst [19:02] I've ever had. >> Oh, the [19:05] » Yeah. >> Yeah. Christy was kind of wearing [19:08] circles in the whole floor over there when we came in Monday. [19:12] » Yeah. Well, when you decide if that's what you're going to do, you know, let [19:17] Dustin know and then I would get a meeting. You mean if you if you're going [19:21] to >> cut Jill at all, will you guys tell her [19:25] then so we will be able to bring that up also at the meeting? [19:29] » So we're everybody's on the same page and everybody knows exactly what's [19:33] happening and then that can get passed on to when [19:38] you want to start if they want to, you know, if it's when when the [19:42] cutback's going to happen. If they're going to cut days as soon as we we're [19:46] just going to have to let the people know and probably quit. Well, there [19:48] ain't even a paper to put that in anymore, hardly, [19:51] » right? >> No, we already missed the leader. [19:54] » Maybe if um if that's what does happen, maybe you and I can break the news to [19:58] her or something >> or [20:01] [cough] Yeah, [20:02] » we can do that. Yeah, >> that's a hard one. So, [20:05] » of course, your meals you can just hand out pamphlets or something. [20:08] » Yeah, that's true. >> When they come and eat and then when [20:10] Jill delivers, you can just hand out a pamphlet to each of the delivery people. [20:15] I think maybe we do need to consider going back to that assessment that is [20:19] done for do you really qualify for home delivered meals. [20:23] » Yeah. >> Because if they're able to make it to [20:25] the center, they're supposed to. Not only because but the getting out and the [20:30] moving and the socialization is what they really want to see done. And it [20:34] used to be when they left up say up at the facility and they came home, they [20:40] would maybe get it for a few weeks and then it either stopped or they came to [20:43] the center. And they were supposed to be re-evaluated, I think. I don't know if [20:47] it was 3 months or 6 months, but they're supposed to be re-evaluated again. [20:52] » And I used to have the form, but I don't I imagine [20:56] » we talked about that at the council. >> Those people think the forms in the [20:59] binder. >> Yeah, they're probably can come to [21:01] bingo. [laughter] >> Um, [21:04] » priorities. >> Yeah, we talked about it at a meeting [21:06] one time. >> Jill must have the forms there because [21:10] she has to have the form to enter them into her program. Speaking of forms, I [21:14] haven't got her um evaluation back. So, >> you must have it or Jill's got it. Who's [21:19] got it? >> I gave it to Gil and Jill and she [21:22] » she didn't bring it back. It was a good one, [21:25] » right? >> Okay. Well, let Dustin know and call a [21:29] meeting and get the bad news passed on. So, we'll do it. [21:32] » Okay. Thank you for coming, guys. >> Bye, Lord. Good to see you. [21:37] » Yeah, you too. >> See you guys. [21:40] » Stay in the green, Dustin, today. I'll I'll have a little trouble finding [21:46] it. >> Are you [laughter] here to give us [21:47] money? >> Are you here to say that the credit [21:50] union will donate x amount of money to the county? [laughter] [21:54] Is >> that why you're there? Oh, fair. [21:58] [laughter] >> We talked about the fair budget um on [22:04] Monday. >> Is that what you're here about, Tim? [22:05] Yeah, I guess just made aware of it and came as part of the association just to [22:12] represent. [22:16] » What we did decide on that one, Tim, is that door, we won't be able to fund that [22:20] one. >> Well, I [22:24] I know Terry had told me about the door. I don't know that that's a critical fix. [22:29] I mean, it at some point, yeah, it does need to be fixed, but it does work. [22:35] Um >> well it's like we had talked about I [22:39] talked about with somebody is unless you increase the header height you're going [22:42] to lose height going in. So at that point are you really [22:48] » doing yourselves >> much more favor than having a better [22:51] door. You know >> I guess we at the association usually [22:54] come up with a list of things you know every year that need to be normally [22:58] fixed. Um we don't have a ton there. I've already gone through the grand [23:04] stand and marked a bunch of boards that need to be replaced. [23:10] You know, five 2x8s is going to probably be enough to cover that. [23:15] » Yeah. And Paul was in here and he's gathered up a a structural evaluation on [23:22] it, too. So, we did spend money a little bit on that. [23:25] » Yeah. Last year, we replaced the one beam on the west end. This year [23:31] I'll try to make one for the east side. I guess it's starting to rock out. [23:34] » They're wood beans. Elaminating some beams. [23:38] » Yeah. So, I mean again that's a handful of 2x4s and [23:42] » kind >> a weekend in my garage. [23:46] » Um >> Okay. [23:48] » No, that you know and I know the bigger issue coming up and after the power [23:55] issues we had this year, I know both MDU and Mr. wire told Terry that that [24:00] transformer is shot and will need to be something done with it. [24:05] » Aren't they responsible for that though? >> I [24:07] » It's their transformer. >> Yeah. And they they have some sort of a [24:12] plan. >> Okay. [24:13] » Um but I know they were talking about maybe [24:16] burying the line coming off of it. So I don't know what all they've [24:23] » gotten to there. But, you know, overall, other than, [24:28] like I said, obviously there's boards in the grandstand we got to replace, I [24:32] don't think we have any major >> repairs this year. [24:38] » I think that the um, you know, just in general, the overall spending of it this [24:42] year, we saw, and it's not you, but I need to talk to Terry about this, but we [24:48] saw candy bars and pops being charged out. So, [24:52] » yeah. Yeah. that that's >> it's not a huge thing. It's just a [24:56] basically a no no. >> Yeah. I mean, if that's their attitude [24:59] going with all of it, then that might be part of the [25:02] » Yeah, >> I know that he after we discovered it, I [25:04] know Terry was told to tell the person to basically doing that. So, [25:09] » yeah, I we just need to get a handle on this one. [25:14] » Well, and I don't know how it worked with the gravel, but we shouldn't need [25:18] any more freaking gravel down there. [25:24] Yeah, it's pretty grally. >> Yeah. [25:31] But [snorts] and like I say, I I've never actually seen the budget done out. [25:37] » So, do you know if the electricity is going to be done this fiscal year or [25:42] » Cuz I don't have that even budgeted, >> right? [25:44] » Yeah. Let's say we don't have it budgeted at all. like there's no [25:49] » cuz he's never gotten the quote so we've never added it to the budget. [25:53] » The other thing was the um structural to pay [25:57] » Oh, the value. Yeah. Is it to pay >> 5 to 6,000 for structural evaluation [26:04] » on the ground stand? >> We assume Paul talked to people about [26:08] it, but he met with uh Interstate Engineering down there and they looked [26:14] they started looking things. >> [snorts] [26:17] » Yeah, he turned in a task order for that >> and we don't have it on, [26:23] » but at least it it would identify from an engineer's point maybe what he might [26:28] want to address down the road. >> Yeah. [26:30] » Well, I don't know. A couple years ago when Joey Curts replaced that walkway in [26:34] the grand stand, he sore up and now that thing was about to tip over. But it's I [26:39] don't know. I've been in underneath and it seems pretty solid to me. [26:44] Obviously there are words that rot out every [26:48] » Sure. That's wood. >> That's Yeah. [26:50] » And climate. [26:57] » Okay. So, remove the door. That did that. [27:03] » Okay. >> But yeah, if that's all you need me for. [27:07] » Thank you. >> I've got to call the attend the two of [27:08] you are paying me to be on. So, I'm going to get back. [27:13] That's funny. >> Thanks for coming in. [27:16] » Um Chris had to talk to um Donnie as well. Oh, I need those for you. [27:27] » How are you today? >> Good. Good. [27:30] » She's volunteering to not buy any books the rest of the year. No, I'm just [27:34] kidding. >> [laughter] [27:34] » Then the other part of the >> I'll give you all the ones I have [27:37] » um fair budget we work on is that stock that we just generously gave them extra [27:43] for this year. >> Yeah. Well, we told them one year only [27:47] » just I mean that's 8,000 bucks. >> Yeah. [27:49] » Yeah. And that's the next year though. We've already paid it this year. [27:52] » I know. But >> unfortunately [27:54] » I think it needs to be >> Yeah. If we don't have it and they can't [28:00] provide something to replace it, it should be gone or could be gone. It [28:05] should be gone. Okay. [28:12] So, back to Die. Sorry, you didn't mean to [28:14] » Oh, no. That's okay. Um, I talked to her about the things that we talked about [28:18] chopping down like the um jury services. We're going to take that down to 1,000, [28:22] the 370, and the 390 for jury services. and um she was fine with that with the [28:28] understanding that if if something came up we'd have to deal with it, but it [28:33] hasn't been that way. Um she's uh looking at [28:40] considering taking a few hours off of Amarie's [28:44] schedule, but um that wasn't something we had had talked about. So, the cuts [28:50] that we had talked about the um >> all of those. [28:54] » Yeah, probably. She was good with that. So, I think we're good. You know, [28:58] » it came out to $5,400. >> Yeah. Yeah. So, um hopefully that's [29:04] enough. But I think there's even, you know, little leg room if we need to [29:10] do something. Um, [29:18] yeah. Okay. Got that one. [29:22] » 300 [29:26] » library. She's in here. [29:30] You guys have the paper that I have from last time I event $5,300. [29:36] » Mine has Jessica's writing. Oh, is it just [29:39] » I've got I've just been writing on these that [29:42] » and I was writing on the expenditure sheet cuz that's the only thing I had in [29:45] front of me. But >> I've just been put my subtractions in [29:48] for >> say 122 at the bottom of the [29:51] expenditure. >> Yeah. [29:53] » Okay. I got that one. >> And we had added we had cut it down [29:58] 53,000 5,300. Sorry. [laughter] I gave our heart attack over there. [30:05] court budget. [30:09] » Yeah. So, last year your budget was 144,000 [30:14] hopefully. I don't know. [30:19] Oh, no. 155. >> Yeah. 155. [30:23] » Okay. You spent 122. So, >> 32,000 on it. I see why you're going [30:27] with that sheet now. >> Yeah. I repainted them. So, because when [30:31] I sent them out to people, I had the wrong year. [30:36] So, [30:40] it'd be nice if you could spend pretty close to what you spent last year. That [30:43] save us a lot of money. >> I'm not trying to spend all your money. [30:48] » No, I know you're not. I know. But I know you've added programs and made some [30:54] plans so that are popular with the kids. >> Well, yeah, we've already worked a [31:02] little bit on her budget. >> Mhm. [31:08] anything in there that you want to make sure gets [31:13] saved or budgeted or anything like that? >> So, what's the bottom line? Just the [31:17] 5,000. >> What is that? I think we 54. That's kind [31:22] of where we're at right now. >> 45. We're at like 5,300. [31:27] » We're not cutting hours or anything from Stephanie or anything like that. Not [31:30] yet. Not yet. [31:37] That's what That's not how much we cut. That's what your new total would be. [31:40] Okay. >> In the penc I know it doesn't show up. [31:42] Pencil doesn't show up very good. [31:50] So [31:53] » So line 211 is that >> that's um for like anything over 500 [32:00] machinery equipment. >> Okay. [32:02] Over 500, right? >> Yeah. [32:04] » Yeah. For the copier and computers and printers. [32:09] » Yes. [32:26] Look at what we have. >> We basically didn't take [32:32] a whole lot away. It was just some of the money we [32:36] didn't even use last year is what we just [32:39] » took off there for now. >> If that makes sense. [32:45] » We did up our budget for insurance stuff. [32:49] » I think we had to, you know, you know. Yeah. [32:53] » Yeah. We just barely stayed the line on that one. [33:05] I'll let the board know. I don't think it's going to be [33:10] something we're going to argue with you about cuz got to happen. [33:15] » Well, and just like we said, we didn't really take anything away. We just took [33:19] stuff you didn't use last year out >> or the year before. [33:23] » Or the year before. >> Yeah. I mean, [33:26] » and and really it's, you know, the rule. It's always doesn't matter what each [33:29] line says. It's how much the overall is of this. Just don't go past that. [33:40] Can I keep this? >> Yeah. [33:42] » Y [33:46] um I don't know if Christy told you, but Reliable did show up and they already [33:50] place all the lines up there that they said they never put up there. Somebody [33:54] else changed their lines out. It's not what he told me. [33:59] » He said >> he totally took responsibility for it. [34:03] » That's funny. >> Their tune changes. They were there. But [34:07] at least it's getting fixed with your ceiling tiles. I'm sure [34:12] » and I didn't even [34:18] » Okay. >> Okay. How was you getting back to your [34:21] birthday? >> All right. Well, thank you for coming [34:23] in. >> Oh, I was just nosy. That's all. Oh, no. [34:26] Nice to be involved. >> Yes. [34:27] » See you guys later. >> Bye. [34:28] » Y >> Okay, so [34:32] the 82,000 that I came up with, we are funding for a fourth deputy for the [34:38] sheriff's office and the city's not contribute anything more than the 140. [34:44] So, in my one of my midnight thinkings, it's like why budget for something [34:50] » if we're not going to get any money back for it? And realistically, I don't think [34:54] I personally don't think there's a need for it right now anyway. Is there [34:58] » for a fourth deputy other than >> Well, maybe not all overtime they're [35:01] getting. >> Yeah. [35:02] » And I don't know. >> They're covered. They're definitely [35:04] covered for another deputy with the old [35:08] » Well, and that's the other problem, too, is I did not budget overtime for them. [35:13] [snorts] Um, so >> because we had that fourth deputy [35:15] position to um do um I so I don't know what you [35:22] want, you know, do there either. >> So they're really not funding for a full [35:27] deputy. They've only spent $17,000 last fiscal year in just overtime, [35:34] » right? And so the the horrendous amount is in dispatch at 52,000 [35:42] » is budgeted for kind of [35:46] » Yeah, Chrissy, I think that's a good idea. I mean, well, so [35:49] » well, it was a thought. I mean, it was like, you know, we're paying for [35:52] something that >> until we until we need to address it, we [35:57] could probably negate it for now, huh? Yeah. [36:01] » And so the city two fiscal years ago paid $112,637 [36:08] between what they paid for the wages and 10 grand for repairs. Those two numbers [36:14] together in the last fiscal year between the 10 grand and the 98778 they [36:20] paid8778. So 109,000 and this year they just are [36:25] going to pay a flat 140. So, it it really kind of has gone up. Doesn't feel [36:31] like it, I know, but um >> but we didn't have that fourth person [36:35] either. >> Well, this is what they actually paid, [36:38] » right? But they would have been build out that that other deputy [36:42] » and then they would have been paying more had they had that had we had that [36:46] second deputy. >> Okay. [36:47] » But now they're telling us this is all we're paying. So, if we got another [36:51] deputy, [clears throat] there would be no payout from [36:53] » Yeah. They'd have to Yeah. And that's the thing. See, that's where I was [36:57] putting it back on the sheriff. If this is what the city's going to do, and this [37:00] is what we have, this is what you have to play with. No more, no less, and how [37:05] you spend it. It has to be spent this way for payroll. And then if you manage [37:11] the overtime better, you'll have more money to spend on the things that you [37:17] have on your need list. [37:21] But that Christie, I think that is [37:25] » I it was a thought cuz I was I was looking through and I was like, "What on [37:29] earth can we do?" And then I thought, "Well, here we are budgeting $82,000 for [37:33] a non-existent position." [snorts] [37:36] » Yeah. And >> let's let's take care of that. [37:39] » I think to make this year anyway >> clear for everybody on that's listening [37:43] to this is that $35,000 is what we're trying to scrape up. And um yeah, [37:52] » without injuring anybody's budget too far, [37:56] » right? >> And like I said, this is a non-existent [37:59] thing. No, we're not getting rid of anybody cuz nobody's there. [38:03] » Yeah. >> And I don't know, maybe a phone call to [38:05] Clint to see if he's even got anybody on the radar might need to be, you know, [38:10] happening. Um I don't know. If there's nobody on the radar, then it's easier. I [38:14] would think that the group should have reported this. [38:21] Haven't seen that yet. So, >> yeah. I don't know. [38:27] » The commission. >> Um, can I ask you something just off the [38:31] record? [38:34] » Does No, that's fine. [38:37] » Oh, I thought >> I was told that our sheriff department [38:41] going to a wreck passed an ambulance [38:47] in a low. [38:53] The reason I I was told there was some somebody coming. [38:58] Oh, and if he wouldn't have seen the lights [39:02] on the ambulance, it could have been a nasty thing. But do they have the right [39:06] to pass I mean, do they have the right to break the law like that? I mean, [39:10] passing an ambulance. Well, yeah, that is that is against the law, is it not? [39:14] » I mean, for sure do that. Uh, as far as I know, you're not supposed to pass [39:18] anybody with emergency lights on, >> no matter who you Well, that [39:22] » But I'm not 100% on that, but I'm pretty pretty close. When I was told that, I [39:27] said, "Would you mind addressing that to our accounting attorney?" [39:31] » Yeah, I think that's the place it needs to go. [39:34] » So, I just want to let you guys know that. [39:37] » Sure. Um, [39:39] » it's deputy. [39:43] » Did you go through the actual working budget other than the salaries on the [39:47] sheriff? >> Um, [39:50] » I thought we did. >> Well, I don't have anything being [39:53] subtracted out anywhere. [39:58] Is that is the sheriff's budget in our big group [40:03] that we're trying to I mean we need to cut [40:06] » I know you guys made Yeah, it is. It's in the general fund. The general fund is [40:10] in that too. I think that's where we're going to end up getting the majority of [40:13] our cuts. >> Actually, yeah, [40:15] » this one here. >> Yeah, [40:17] » it'll be in that file. Yeah. >> Are we done with the other group? [40:24] No, I didn't think you >> Okay, so we've done all that stuff. [40:30] » District Court, library. [40:35] » We were on our last one was the weed one. [40:37] » Well, some of these. Okay, so the retirement and the health insurance we [40:42] that's just what it is, unfortunately. Um the health insurance one will go down [40:47] if we cut that position of the sheriffs because that's going to be [40:52] » that's going to be money out of that >> another 24,000 [40:57] roughly. >> So so I'm sorry to go down a rabbit [41:00] hole. >> Well that's included in the 82. [41:02] » Oh it is okay. >> If you just look it up online. Yes. A [41:07] sheriff's vehicle can legally pass an active ambulance with lights on, [41:12] provided they do it safely and with due regard. [clears throat] [41:16] » Okay. >> I'm thinking it was a double line. [41:22] » Well, they I don't know if they have to follow those rules. [41:25] » Well, they're supposed to, >> but I just directed that comment to the [41:30] county attorney. >> Yeah, I think that's that's perfect. You [41:34] know, I um [41:38] I think people are just kind of mad, you know. [41:45] » Did we look at the senior citizens budget, too? [41:48] » Yes. Did we not? >> I don't. [41:50] » No, I don't think we decided on >> because there was they're requesting [41:58] » and they still have $11,000 left. >> Yeah. No, I don't have anything coming [42:02] out. So, >> okay. So, I [42:05] » So, we need in They don't need that increase, do they? I mean, we got [42:08] $10,000 roughly we could battle with there. [42:11] » No. So, what what we the senior budget is what we were just talking about and [42:16] we were going to cut two days of meals and possibly some of Joann's or Jill's [42:25] » right >> time. [42:26] » Okay. But I I was >> I'm just saying if you look at the [42:30] bottom numbers, they didn't use all that. [42:32] » Nobody does. >> Yeah. Nobody [42:35] » Well, then we can cut. >> Yeah. [42:37] » Yeah. >> Yeah. You You put what you think you're [42:40] going to need and it may not be. >> But you know what I was thinking? I [42:45] don't know if it benefits or not, but if they would cut if they're going to [42:49] school is going to cut off, they want to keep Tuesday. They said, "Well, if they [42:56] we cut Wednesday, couldn't some of them go to live show?" [42:59] » So, are we >> They used to That's a great point [43:03] because they would still potentially have the opportunity to cause any or [43:07] » a little cuz they're the less expensive meals. [43:10] » But I was just thinking, you know, I mean, that'd be one day they could cut [43:13] here and a few would benefit and we go into school Fox. [43:17] » Well, we Yeah. And that's the whole thing. We have a budgeted amount of [43:21] mills. Um, >> I know [43:23] » that's how I set it up. Like 500 for Flaxville [snorts] and the 42 or [43:29] whatever it is for Scobby. That's how I set their budget based on [43:33] » how many meals you know they're eating. >> But I was just thinking now [43:38] with >> Well, you could I mean technically [43:41] eat while you can eat here and then go over there when you can eat that day, [43:45] » right? And some would and vice versa. They could come this way, too. [43:49] » Yeah. It'll cut a little just because they're less expensive by about four [43:53] bucks, but not >> but I was just thinking I didn't bring [43:58] it up to them. They can worry about >> but again because we're getting [44:01] reimbursed for part of it. It's not a true [44:04] » 100% cut. >> Last year we overspent the mills by [44:08] $9,000. What we budgeted >> I didn't. Yeah. So they're um staying [44:14] within the allotted amount that they cuz that's how I budget what the price is. I [44:19] take what each um contract is, times it out, and that's what I budget for. So, [44:25] they didn't stay within the contract amount [snorts] [44:28] obviously. [44:32] Okay. [44:38] » So, >> um so go ahead. [44:40] » I guess we need to decide on that what we are cutting [44:45] days, hours, both. Well, they we talked they talked 3 days a week is what they [44:50] want to do, >> right? They but they also said that they [44:53] could cut some of Jill's hours. It doesn't [44:57] [snorts] they said they didn't have much pull. I'm just worried about $35,000. [45:03] You know, do I don't It's up to you guys if you if you want to go just days for [45:08] now and call it good. >> Well, why don't we cut a few of our [45:12] hours and see how it works? [45:17] said, "I'm not a fan of going there yet." [45:21] » They said, "I'm not a fan of fetting people's flowers. Just not working in [45:24] parties anyway." >> Yeah, I get what you're saying. [45:27] » You know, I mean, if we have to, we have to. [45:29] » Yeah. >> Yeah. I would rather cut things versus [45:32] » And we haven't even started with the general fund yet. So, where there's [45:36] probably a lot that we can cut out. >> Okay. So, let's leave it at 2 days. So, [45:41] » I'm not Yeah, I'm not. And that is going to cut back some hours because of the [45:46] extra [clears throat] money that we pay her to deliver them and stuff. [45:49] » It's going to cut back some pay on that end [45:53] » just automatically. >> So, we're going to send a message. Go [45:56] ahead and just cut three two meals two meals out down to three meals. Well, [46:00] they've already got that message. Well, they wanted from us. [46:03] » I know. I think what we need to do is let's get to a bottom number and see if [46:07] that's where we really are. it, you know, [46:11] » can we figure out roughly how much money that's going to save? [46:13] » Well, no. 28,000 gross, but that does not include what they're going to lose. [46:19] » But aren't we going to try to tap every budget? Yeah. So, what else do you touch [46:24] in the senior citizen meals? I mean, >> if we're if we're going to touch every [46:30] » Yeah. >> Yeah. Let's let's touch everyone and [46:32] then come back, we can add back. >> Yeah. I don't think we're at a point [46:36] that we can tell them where we've cut yet. These are I think right now [46:41] Christiey's got to kind of see what our recommendations are, plug it in, and [46:46] then we'll hit it again. Right, Christie? Is that right? [46:52] » In the mental health budget, I see there's money in there. Does that ever [46:55] get used or does that have to just sit >> all gets used? [46:57] » So, the the money in is the money out. Okay. [47:00] » Yeah. So should we go to the sheriff dispatch one [47:05] » or unless you want to be doing like okay the planning board doesn't matter [47:09] because there's no taxes coming out on that one mental health be looked at the [47:13] senior >> extension office [47:16] » district court we've taken care of >> bridge we can't do anything cuz what's [47:19] in there is the wages unless you want to move [47:22] » well we can't even move the wages over to the road because the road's tapped [47:25] out too. >> Yeah. [47:28] » Extension office >> that one we haven't looked at yet. No, I [47:31] know. [47:35] » Okay. 229 [47:46] » 22.90. >> Yeah. [47:53] » Okay. So, that's another thing, too. Rhonda's going to be going on her health [47:56] insurance. So that's going to be an added increase to the health insurance. [48:00] » So scratch the beauty. >> So the insurance stays the same. [48:05] » Not quite cuz she's not going on it full, you know. Yes. So there's a little [48:09] bit less in there. Um yeah. [48:18] And that's out of the which one? Extension [48:20] » 22.90. [clears throat] Yeah. I [48:25] » the weed budget I see here too. Is there >> Yeah, the weed budget. The only thing I [48:30] don't >> It looks like she kept everything very, [48:32] very similar to what it was. >> The weed budget. [48:35] » Yeah. >> Yeah, there is room to cut. We're only [48:38] required to levy 1.6 mills a meal. However, meals. How do you [48:44] want me to say 10? >> Anyway, we're only required to do the [48:48] 1.6. So there and we are sitting our sheet is showing it at 4.2. [48:53] » The only my concern on some of these is that I'd like to make sure we don't cut [48:58] the um 940 lines cuz that's what I'm saving. Right. [49:06] » I don't see the um extension [49:11] » right here. >> 2290. [49:13] » You want to take a look at mine? >> So the weed budget what you said there [49:17] is room in that one. >> Yes. Okay. [49:20] » To what we need to have to what they do what they have. [49:23] » Do you want to leave that till last? One of the last [49:26] » 10,000 already, didn't we? >> Out of the weed. [49:29] » Yeah. >> Uh-uh. [49:30] » Did we? >> Um, [49:32] » that's what I got written. Well, we ended the night. [49:35] » No, I don't have anything on that. [49:42] » Do you need a new [49:46] 2290? Yeah, that's what I do. Sorry. Oh my god. I I lose stuff and then I rerun [49:52] it. Then I find it and >> Oh, there's the weed budget. [49:54] » I see the weed, but I don't have it. >> I have two weed budgets. [49:57] » That's weird cuz they were all sitting there. [50:00] » Two pages. Yeah, I only have one. >> No, I have two complete different [50:05] » Well, cuz they have the updated The ones that she gave us initially didn't have [50:09] all the expenses through the year. She ran 2 months early. So, then they gave [50:13] us an updated one with expenses all the way through the year. So [50:17] » I just have this one page for that. I mean I have more here but [50:25] with a 10 with the cut online >> we cut 940. [50:30] » You can't cut 940. That's their savings account. [50:34] » Then how come I got it written down? >> I got it written down. We cut that too [50:38] much. >> But but see they raffle money for a [50:41] pickup and they've been saving it all the time. So I don't [50:46] Then how come we discussed $10,000 yesterday? [50:49] » We were pretty excited about it and hadn't addressed the [50:54] the savings account. >> Okay. I'm looking at 22 22 [50:59] 220 rather operating supplies. >> Yeah. 220. You see what? [51:06] » Thank you. >> They're they got $12,000 left [51:09] » on the lead. Yeah. >> On 220. I mean 781 bucks. [51:16] Unless there's a bill coming in. >> Um [51:20] I don't know. >> Nothing 230. I mean, look at they they [51:24] budget for and don't use it. >> Yeah. [51:26] » Well, and a lot of people are used to just doing that, [51:31] » you know, the what they had last year they just put down again. So, [51:35] » but if we're trying to find something, >> but yeah, 220 that is their spray. [51:42] Um, so they may be buying spray next spring, [51:47] » but that that would be a question to ask Bonnie, but um [51:53] » [clears throat] >> um [51:53] » the 230 is higher than it needs to be. >> Yeah. Well, we have we have 10,000 off [52:01] of their 940. Do you remember talking about that? [52:05] » And that 940 they're saving for pickup. [52:10] But the funny thing is is their weak grant. They have like 90,000 in them. [52:16] That's good. >> So there you go. [52:19] » I mean that's >> I don't know if that's exactly the [52:21] » I wrote that down for a reason we discussed the other day. [52:25] » I get it. But yet that's money that they're taking from the budget putting [52:30] in there. >> But here we are all this time telling [52:33] people don't spend so much so that you can save and put it in your 940. Like we [52:38] told that to Neil Neil's gotten this bad either. [52:42] » Put it in a 940 and then that's what you're saving for your equipment that [52:46] you're wanting. So then we take that. Do you know how bad they're going to hate [52:50] us and scream and yell and say, "Well, I was [52:53] » they got $90,000." >> I didn't know that at this time. At that [52:58] time >> I mean at that point. So, does that make [53:01] a difference in your >> I'm trying to find [53:03] » Well, if if they've got another account that I don't know about then, yeah, [53:08] » there's a lot of them accounts out there that we don't know about. [53:10] » Yeah, that's why Christiey's vital. >> Let me see what they have in here. [53:16] » But if we got a cut, I mean, >> right, [53:19] » we're going to catch hell from everybody, but might as well get it from [53:22] everybody. >> But the one point that the, you know, [53:25] right after salaries has to be their savings account, right? They've saved [53:29] all these years. And I mean, I get it. If we have to, we have to. But that [53:35] money is like sacred. That's But that's like the Donnie Hammer money that he was [53:40] rat hauling from all >> True, but it comes from their budget. [53:43] So, it's budgeted money that they haven't used. [53:45] » They have 70,000 in there. >> What uh in there we grant 940. [53:50] » So, is that a different [snorts] account than this? [53:55] Well, I think they can. I honestly don't know. They just they never ran holes. [54:01] » If you if you were to look at this I didn't make this what we were cutting. [54:07] So, [54:19] if they've got other resources, then yeah, I think that changes my theory. [54:23] But like on the fire department, they don't [54:27] Well, they kind of >> Well, he kept buying [54:30] » and buying and buying. >> His is a bad one to use because of all [54:36] of the history with that, right? But the general idea is if a person only has one [54:40] account. The um district court has one account, you know. So, if she [54:48] was saving up for who knows what you would need, but brand new office [54:53] furniture or whatever and kept raffling money [54:56] » by saving money, >> that would be one that I would like to [55:01] hesitate before we and at least make them aware that, you know, this is what [55:05] we had to do so that they don't come back and say, "Well, I finally found the [55:10] office furniture I want and I got all that money in my savings account." And [55:13] they go, "Oh, no, you don't." >> Yeah. This is just over budgeting cuz [55:17] they've never used any of the money out of there. They don't even use the money. [55:20] » No, they don't. >> I get that. But it's in there, [55:23] » but it's still from the budget. >> I mean, if if you're if you're at home [55:28] and and you need to buy something, but you've been saving and you have a [55:32] savings account, sometimes you got >> sometimes a savings account just to pay [55:37] this and then work on that again later. >> True. [55:41] » Just so you get back to square. And I get that and I think you got a valid [55:45] point. I think what is critical to do though is to um make sure that we let [55:52] them know, >> right? No, I I agree with that. True. [55:59] » I haven't been in here to cause problems with the commissioners in years. So, [56:05] here you are. >> Maybe I should. [56:07] » Why you showed up today? [56:11] How's it going? >> It's going not so good. We're having to [56:16] deal with the budget. Oh. >> Yeah, this is a completely other budget. [56:23] » All right. You guys have a good day. >> All right. All right. Good to see you. [56:26] » Yeah, it's definitely a completely different budget. [56:31] » Okay. Well, interesting. tonight. Can I bring up something to you guys that I [56:37] was conf [56:44] They were just talking and I overheard. Have you heard anything about Donnie? [56:56] » Okay. Go ahead. >> Yeah. And I'm not 100% sure why [57:02] they haven't bought their pickup yet cuz they've been saving for it forever. [57:06] » Maybe they're not aware of how much they have. For sure. [57:11] » I don't sure on top of the budget. >> Maybe. [57:16] » All I know is like I said, by law we have to have a 1.6. So [57:20] » Okay. >> Yeah. Okay. [57:22] » Good. We got the extension office. I think we started on that, right? Yep. [57:27] That's actually one of the bridge one we can't do anything about. Right. [57:31] » Right. Cuz that's >> budgeted for the new bridge. [57:35] » Yep. >> And the [57:38] um wages. >> So we've got we've got pretty much [57:42] everything done except extension office and retirement budget which [57:45] » that you can't with. No. >> Um for starters anyway. [57:50] » So the next thing is going to be the hits. It's going to be on the general [57:53] fund. >> Yeah. [57:55] And then we're going to have to take out our operating loan and call again. [57:59] [laughter] I don't know [58:01] » what's the waste is something that's separate on its own. And that's the [58:05] whole thing I'm I was working on before you guys came today. [58:08] » Okay. So, extension office. Um, [58:20] » doesn't really look like she increased a lot other than [58:24] the 110 of course is [clears throat] [58:28] » um Christy on this health insurance line. Did you add in? [58:33] » It's not in Rhonda's. It's not in the extension office. I It's in the health [58:37] insurance office. >> Okay. Okay. Okay. [58:40] Will it? >> But there's still the 1060 in there [58:43] because the colonial, but that'll be >> not being paid by the county after she [58:49] goes on the g on the major health loan. So, and she'll have to pay that out of [58:53] her pocket, but we still need the 1060 in there. [58:58] But other than that, and then the I don't know the 390, [59:03] that's the one that we forgot a few years ago and then we didn't have the [59:06] money. That's Inga's wages. >> Oh, yeah. But [59:10] I don't think she included enough. And she may have done it on purpose, but we [59:16] still, you know, like how we do the compensated absences for everybody, we [59:19] have to do hers also. >> And I don't I'm pretty sure that's [59:24] probably not enough. >> But I don't know. But maybe it is. And I [59:27] haven't had a chance to call her. Yeah. I haven't had a chance to call her to [59:31] ask her if that's including it all. But I mean all of these numbers right here, [59:36] » she didn't use hardenia that Monday period. [59:39] » No. >> Of any of those numbers? [59:41] » No. >> From 210 through [59:44] 3 >> is. So what's your number on uh 390 that [59:49] she used? >> Well, she and she may have included [59:52] that. I just thought, well, I'll throw some money in there just [59:55] » I'm just trying to figure out if we've got the most updated. [59:59] » Yeah. Um 33579. >> We do. And she may but see she gets a [1:00:05] portion of my base A. So let me go see what she did. Let me [1:00:10] double check that. We may not need to >> but all of these numbers we can you can [1:00:15] address right here. I mean it's not big numbers but it'll add up to a couple [1:00:19] maybe 1,500 2,000 bucks [1:00:28] » and we're treating them just like everybody else. [1:00:30] » Yep. Yep. Yeah, that's the bottom line really. [1:00:34] » You hate to touch with them little numbers, but still. No. [1:00:41] » Hey, it's Christine. >> Hi. Is Inda there? [1:00:47] » Oh, well, I just had a question on her budget. Is she calling me? [1:00:51] » All right. Thank Oh, 5561. Yeah. All right. Thanks. Bye. [1:00:59] Oh, I forgot to call Britney back. We told her we'd call her when we were [1:01:03] ready for her to come down, but she has a meeting at 10:15, so I guess we'll [1:01:07] have to call >> Britney. Um [1:01:09] » Oh, she walked by earlier. >> Yeah. [1:01:11] » Yeah. And I went out and told her call her, but [1:01:15] um Inga's not in yet, but I'm thinking maybe after looking at what she said. [1:01:20] But see, the reason I went with the 42 is because that's what we budgeted last [1:01:24] year. >> And I did have her papers showing how [1:01:27] much for each. I don't have that this go around. [1:01:31] » So, if she were to quit, of course, she's used a lot of it on time off, so [1:01:36] she might not even have much on her compensated. So, she might have adjusted [1:01:39] for that, too, on the 38. [1:01:45] So, maybe we'll just >> Well, do you want to pop back up on hers [1:01:48] on the I mean, you can go up as high as the as [1:01:53] you want to there. She just doesn't use that much money. [1:01:59] And I get it's only, you know, a few dollars here and there, but [1:02:05] » yeah. [1:02:21] So, if we drop back down to the 38, that's another [1:02:26] 4,258 coming off of there. [1:02:30] » Y, [1:02:34] » but everything she has there's there's like the 211. She didn't use any of that [1:02:38] money, >> right? And I guess that would be [1:02:40] something that we'd have to ask if she plans on using it or not. [1:02:43] » And isn't that just Yeah. buying equipment, right? [1:02:51] That could be a maybe buying a laptop this year. You know, when people don't [1:02:56] write down what they're doing with the money sometimes. [1:03:00] » Does she plan on traveling a lot? Little hike here. [1:03:06] » Well, and she might because she [1:03:12] um maybe because she didn't do it much last year, [1:03:16] you know. I don't know. [1:03:24] Hers is a pretty thin budget. There's not a lot of fluff on there. [1:03:34] » Yeah. She doesn't like here, this one, the 250. [1:03:40] » Yeah. [1:03:43] » You know, she's got 500, but she only spent 94. What is 250? [1:03:48] » So when they buy books and stuff like that for retrainings and stuff. When did [1:03:52] somebody walk in here? >> It sounded like water. So it's probably [1:03:56] like candies or something like that. Well, they already brought water [1:03:59] upstairs. >> I don't think they went through past the [1:04:02] door. >> Uhuh. It sound like they went to the [1:04:04] treasures office. >> Oh yeah, they all [1:04:08] said, "Oh, the ties over that came in." >> Yeah. I mean, you got any were [1:04:14] everything from 210 up, she didn't use hardly any [groaning] any [1:04:19] of it. So >> So those new figures with your blue [1:04:23] pencil, Chrissy, those are after we made the rays and the longevity, [1:04:27] » the blue. >> Yeah, that's the solid, [1:04:40] I guess. Um, the obvious one is that 38,000. If [1:04:46] that's accurate, then that saves 4,000, right? And there's room in there. [1:04:55] And I wonder if maybe, like I said, if she didn't include it because last year, [1:05:01] you know, we budgeted the 42 and she only used the 33 [1:05:05] and then she's used a lot of maternity time. So, I'm wondering if that isn't [1:05:10] including that. >> Well, unlike the 370, the travel, she [1:05:15] didn't use. >> No, [1:05:17] » hardly any of that either. >> No. And the 360, they use none of that. [1:05:30] She didn't use any of the 320. >> No. Very little of of the 250 and the [1:05:37] 230 or the 220. [clears throat] [1:05:40] » I wonder what the >> None of the 211. [1:05:43] » No. >> And half of the 210. I mean, there's you [1:05:47] would have to cut it right back down to nothing, but you could trim some off of [1:05:50] each of those. [1:05:54] » But where we where we trim a little bit, they'd have that other to kind of [1:05:59] transfer if they had to. >> What other Well, whatever. I mean, like [1:06:04] say if we cut the travel down, okay, then she needs a little extra. She'd [1:06:09] have all these other ones to work back to work. [1:06:11] » Yeah. The main goal in any budget is to not let it go past even. If it goes in [1:06:17] the hole, then we're in trouble. >> Yep. No, I get it. [1:06:19] » You mean the dollar? >> I don't even know what to do with them. [1:06:23] Like I said, I still got to take 14,000 out of that cash and it's like they're [1:06:27] going to be in the hole like almost $30ome,000 in cash. [1:06:32] Well, so and I I forgot to attach my spreadsheet, but [1:06:39] so repairs and there was two columns. One was stuff that they just bought [1:06:44] randomly, and then one was what I called repairs, but that also included our [1:06:48] trips to Plennywood. And it was over $200,000 for the repairs and those trips [1:06:53] to Plennywood. And the trips to Plennywood was about $70,000. [1:06:58] But, uh, the, uh, the little Piggly stuff that they bought was, um, I think [1:07:05] it was like $25,000, you know, and [1:07:08] » we don't even spend that in our office, >> right? And and the most of it was to [1:07:13] Hometown Hardware. Um, so I'll bring that. In fact, I'll email it when [1:07:18] [snorts] I I'm sorry I didn't bring that cuz it made for interesting reading. [1:07:22] When's your next solid waste board? >> Next one. When D. [1:07:25] » Okay. I'll have it to you before then. Don't do it to me. I'm combining. [1:07:31] » Oh, Mike's going. >> That's right. I heard that. [1:07:35] » We both did them on We both them on the island. [1:07:38] » No, no, no, no. >> I'm on a different one one at a time. [1:07:43] » Oh, that's So, if you're not going to be there and Tom probably won't be there. [1:07:47] » I might be there. It all depends on it. >> Yeah, I'm just saying. Um, and does Josh [1:07:52] Green? Yes, but he's done a [1:07:55] » But I asked Mike, Mike earlier today, if the truck's ready [1:08:02] if the parts will be in today or tomorrow. I mean, every time you ask [1:08:06] them, it's always Why hasn't it been up last week, [1:08:11] I mean, any answer we ever get. >> Yeah, but they can't control the parts. [1:08:16] » No, but why is it the day you ask them, that's when it's coming in? Well, when I [1:08:20] asked him earlier this month or this week, he told me he thought they'd be [1:08:23] here by Friday is what he said. But I don't know. [1:08:29] » I mean, it's just costing us daily that thing done. [1:08:38] » So, let's see where we at here. We did this. [1:08:41] » Make sure we get parts back. No, they still I as [1:08:47] they get the [1:08:52] exactly one extra one on hand and [1:09:03] » so basically you on the extension it's uh well [1:09:08] » a 390 deal and the three Well, 370 looks like it could be a [1:09:15] little gone. I'd gain you some 370 [1:09:20] » even if you got a,000 back on the 370. >> So, knock it down to what? 200 [1:09:26] » 2500. >> So, there's a,000. [1:09:30] » Okay. So, >> 360. [1:09:36] » Um, >> that's something repaired. I don't know. [1:09:42] I don't know what it would be. >> Well, we also got the repair and [1:09:46] maintenance supplies. That's 230. >> Well, the 360 is if the repairman comes [1:09:51] into your building and makes the repairs. The 230 is if you buy it to do [1:09:55] it yourself. >> Well, it looks like they bought $3 worth [1:10:00] on that. >> I'm thinking a light bulb. No. [1:10:01] » Yeah. [laughter] >> I don't know what else it would be. [1:10:09] Yeah. I'm not sure. >> Well, do you want to just knock it each [1:10:13] each of those two just in half? >> So, the two [1:10:18] » So, like the 230 go to just go to 100 >> and the uh 380 will just basically go to [1:10:26] 200. >> 380. [1:10:28] » 3. >> Oh, my glasses on. Sorry. [1:10:33] » Okay, now I'm looking. 360. Yes. >> I was trying to read something and I was [1:10:37] like, I can't read crap. Okay. >> So, that's 1,300 and possibly more of [1:10:43] the wages. >> Yeah. And as far as the rest of it, I [1:10:46] don't know if we can >> I mean, everything else is is ran pretty [1:10:49] slim. >> Yeah. [1:10:52] » What did you say it was without the other one? [1:10:55] » 1300. >> Yeah, that's what I got. Okay. Just [1:10:57] making sure. Okay. [1:11:02] And then the retirement. Well, a portion of that if we cut out [1:11:07] the whole deputy position, a portion of that will come out of here, but it's [1:11:12] still included in the 82. >> Where you at now? [1:11:15] » Retirement. >> On the retirement, I said if we cut out [1:11:17] that deputy position, but it's still included in the 82. So, [1:11:24] cuz I put the whole 80 the whole entire thing. And same with the health [1:11:27] insurance. [1:11:34] Okay. [1:11:38] » Would you do a retirement date? >> Well, so when I if we cut the sheriff's [1:11:43] the deputy position out, >> Yeah. [1:11:46] » the retirement's automatically going to come out of there, but it's already [1:11:49] included in the whole 82,000. >> Oh, [1:11:54] » it'll just be in different places. Yeah. Okay. [1:11:59] » Yes. So that's now we have to attach the [1:12:04] general fun. >> Yeah. Now we're doing the regular one. [1:12:08] The final one. [1:12:18] » [clears throat] [1:12:22] » Try this first or not. It'll be fun. [1:12:29] Our budget. [1:12:36] I keep losing paperwork. So, I have to [1:12:44] here. [1:12:47] Changes. [1:13:06] » Cut the butt 370 in half. >> Well, I knew you'd say that. Well, cut [1:13:11] it to one quarter. Then [1:13:16] » that's 3/4 of our budget. >> How about cut it to five grand? [1:13:22] » 5,500. That's $1,500 savings. [1:13:49] Well, my god. 330. There's a big one right there. [1:13:57] » Yeah. [1:14:02] » Oh, well, we'll cut that anyways cuz our legal [1:14:04] » legal deficit. That's what I mean. You got your good one to cut off. [1:14:08] » Yeah. >> Nice. [1:14:10] » We'd have to have a line that tells us how much that was. [1:14:14] » Yeah. I bet we >> But we can at least cut all that out. [1:14:16] » Mhm. Yeah. >> Oh, that's a biggie. [1:14:20] » Yeah. [1:14:24] » Got just two items we got to cut. My god, ours is easy. Budget. [1:14:29] » That's a big cut. I think I thought we'd cut a lot out of that. [1:14:33] » I bet it's 5 grand or six grand. >> I think so. Yeah, [1:14:44] » unless it's put somewhere else. I don't think it is, but [1:14:53] » Yeah, cuz all of our minutes and >> Oh, god. [1:14:56] » Yeah. >> Well, there's another [1:14:58] » Did I tell you what Burl said? He goes, "Where are you putting your minutes and [1:15:02] stuff?" And I said, "On our website." cuz yeah, I don't think he needed to [1:15:05] publish him anyway. >> Well, yeah, he'd say that now they ain't [1:15:09] getting no gravy. >> Before on his [1:15:14] » Yeah, before it was You need to do that. >> Knock it off. [1:15:18] » You got to stay You got to stay with the law. [1:15:20] » Yeah. He did say though that he thought it was a [snorts] [1:15:23] agreement that was made a long time ago. So, [1:15:26] » but >> you got to run [1:15:28] » Well, there's another 33 ordinance and proceedings. [1:15:33] Oh, that's the one that there's another 3:30. [1:15:36] » What we um spent as commissioners on our minutes and legal notices. [1:15:41] » Yeah, it'll be on. >> Do you have it broke out? I mean, [1:15:45] » it is broke out under ordinances. >> Yeah, cuz there's two 330s. [1:15:54] » Oh, >> yeah. One is for other publications and [1:15:57] then the ordinance one that says ordinances is for minutes. What's the [1:16:01] other publications that was so high then >> that you what [1:16:05] » almost 10 grand last year for other publications? [1:16:11] » Hang on a sec. >> Okay, let me look at these when they're [1:16:15] done. [1:16:19] » Because [1:16:31] Where's the 10 grand? The 9,000 the 330. >> Yeah. [1:16:35] » Yeah. [1:16:39] » Legal notices, subscriptions. >> I think actually it um got paid out of [1:16:46] the wrong one >> and he ripped it, I believe. [1:16:52] Okay, let me [1:17:05] not Okay, I'll have to go look at that. [1:17:19] One batch of [1:17:23] » That's one batch. >> Yep. [1:17:27] I ran an expenditure report as of the end of June. So you guys could [1:17:33] kind of look at it that way, too. >> I gave her [1:17:36] » Oh, okay. Yours is still printing. [1:17:43] You funny. I need a lot [1:17:48] of [1:17:52] Yeah. I don't know what that [1:19:01] Not for fun. What if I could stop and then go? [1:19:06] It's tired wearing it out. [1:19:13] » [snorts] [1:19:15] » Oh, >> okay. So, we're talking your 330 under [1:19:20] not under yet. >> Uhhuh. [1:19:26] Oh, conference registration. Um the Zoom subscription, [1:19:33] the Adobe Premiere, our stuff for sale of accounting [1:19:38] properties, our make dues, your Oh yeah, your make dues between them and Nico [1:19:43] that's like 40 5300. >> Oh [1:19:48] » yeah. Um we do have one error in here that was proceedings. I thought I took [1:19:52] that out of here. [1:19:55] » So that 52.49 49 is is what it cost for Mako, right? [1:20:00] » Oh, yeah. And I did pull out the preceding ones wrong. So, yeah. So, the [1:20:05] membership dues for Mako is 4,571 and for Nico is 450 [1:20:14] and then all of the stuff that I post for your guys' meetings or whatever [1:20:18] special things, whatever are in there. Of course, that won't be coming. Um, [1:20:24] » how much is that? filing the annual report comes out of there for 1,700. [1:20:30] Um, here you can look at it. So, yeah, there's actually a lot more [1:20:35] that I didn't even think about that that comes out of that. [1:20:43] And we can't count the mistake one cuz I did pull that out of there. [1:20:53] So about the only place we'll save it is is on the publication of [1:20:58] » the minutes >> minutes. [1:21:02] » Yeah. >> Looks like [1:21:03] » which [1:21:07] um I guess [1:21:09] » I didn't even put any money in there for that. So that's not going to count. [1:21:14] I didn't budget anything for you guys in that. I left it zero. [1:21:20] That's the >> second page 330. [1:21:23] » No. Oh, >> second page 330. [1:21:27] » Yeah. [1:21:30] » So, and when I go to those conferences, I'm not going to pay those dues anymore. [1:21:35] So, that'll help by about a,000. >> What dues? [1:21:40] » You know, when you register and you can register and just get the name tag only. [1:21:45] I'm feeling pretty smart about that. So there was in here there was [1:21:54] 275 [1:21:58] 300. Okay. So maybe 575 600 bucks. [1:22:19] So these Daniels County leader ones [snorts] [1:22:23] are in the right place. Okay. [1:22:29] » We could take So in reality, >> you want to take 370 down at all? [1:22:33] » I mean, could take some there. [1:22:40] » Yeah. But in reality, your guys's budget, I keep it pretty tight. [1:22:45] » Yeah. I mean, there's not a whole lot to >> We'll save $1,000 just not having a [1:22:53] leader. 934, >> right? And I didn't include it in this [1:22:57] already. >> Oh, okay. Okay. Okay. You said that and [1:22:59] it's just now making >> Yeah, it's not included in there at all. [1:23:03] » Okay. >> Yeah. [1:23:05] » I guess on to the next one. [1:23:10] clerk and recorder. Where where do we cut on the [1:23:15] commissioners? Can't [1:23:18] we can >> Well, she's already taken the [1:23:22] » your minutes publication and stuff. I've never I never even budgeted for that to [1:23:26] begin with. >> So, [1:23:28] that'd be primarily where you can cut. >> Yeah. Wherever the yellow pages, where's [1:23:34] on top of this? I don't have mine with me. [1:23:38] Oh, requested 74 380. >> Yeah. [1:23:45] » And that's less less than what we were at for last year. [1:23:50] Yeah. Okay. So, mine. [1:23:55] Okay. Up to here. The only thing on mine is I do have a [1:24:01] part-time position budgeted. Francancy doesn't work that much. [1:24:07] Um, but [1:24:12] if I'm for real is going to retire at the end of the year, we got to be able [1:24:16] to get somebody in here at some point in time to start learning mine or Jess's. [1:24:21] I'm not sure. But if we have to, I mean, we can cut that that we need to leave [1:24:25] Francancy like quarter time or something to cut out the other half [1:24:30] on payroll on her. >> That's 144. No, [1:24:33] » that's 110 through Well, she doesn't do any Yeah, 110 through 144. [1:24:39] » Um, so I could cut that to half time or quarter time. [1:24:45] Maybe all of our extra people. Maybe Die should cut hers down too up there. [1:24:50] » And she did say that. Yeah. And I think the treasur's office, same thing. Yeah. [1:24:55] » And they're at the quarter time already. >> Yeah. [1:24:57] » Obviously, they aren't using it though. >> Yeah. I don't know if it'll get used [1:25:01] after the election, but >> I don't know if it'll get used at all at [1:25:05] this point in time. >> Yeah, [1:25:06] » I don't think so. >> Yeah. [1:25:08] » So, yeah, I think you're I think you're right. Maybe and that's something. [1:25:12] » So, I could do that. Cut quarter time. I'm willing to jump on the bandwagon. [1:25:17] » Tell that to Die. I guess she did say that. [1:25:21] » Well, she's budgeted at 800 and 600. So, she's actually budgeted for over half [1:25:28] time. And part of that comes out of the [1:25:31] superintendent. I can't remember. [1:25:33] » Yeah, the 400 I think is the superintendent. [1:25:37] Where's my payroll stuff? [1:25:42] I was always Oh, here. So, [snorts] superintendent [1:26:00] Yeah. Oh, we have 600 on. Yeah. 600 and 800, I believe. [1:26:09] » And she has no benefits or anything. I mean, she has she has I shouldn't say [1:26:12] that. She has vacation and sickly with stuff, but she does not have the [1:26:16] insurance, >> right? [1:26:17] » So, that won't affect that part of it. So for clip and a quarter your halftime [1:26:23] position to quarter time. >> You know I just noticed under the [1:26:27] library and I don't know if I have that why do you Stephanie is actually [1:26:34] budgeted it full time that needs to come down to something else. So that will [1:26:39] take some more out of the library. I don't know why. [1:26:42] » Yeah. And you just got done telling me a half hour ago you ink cutting powers. [1:26:48] » But she doesn't work that many. Yeah, I'm just telling you. [1:26:51] » I just looked at that when I flipped to the library and I'm like, "Oh, wait a [1:26:54] minute. I >> But it never was a full time." [1:26:56] » No. No. >> So, it's not like she's cutting it. [1:27:00] » She's correcting correcting it. Yes. >> Okay. [laughter] [1:27:04] » Cuz I just looked at that and went, "Oh, wait a minute." [1:27:08] Okay. So, Oh, yeah. No, she's got 1,600 hours budgeted under the clerk of court [1:27:15] and 600 budgeted under the >> So, she's way over budgeted. [1:27:20] » Yeah, cuz >> she's only working quarter time [1:27:24] on the phone. >> Oh, perfect. [1:27:27] » Yep. [1:27:31] » Hello. So, I got a question on your budget. You [1:27:35] budgeted 3,800 for your wage. Does that include your compensated time? [1:27:57] Right. Yeah. Oh, yes. I probably said that, but yeah. [1:28:01] Yeah. No, we're only paying you for that. Yeah. No. [1:28:09] So just your salary but not the compensated if you were to quit [1:28:15] cuz last year you only used 3,300 of the salary portion. 33,000. Jesus. [1:28:30] Right. [1:28:36] Cuz normally I get a paper that shows how much would be if we had to pay you [1:28:41] out. [1:28:48] Okay. Okay. [1:28:53] So you get 65. [1:29:22] Yeah. Even like in the the Treasury office, they budgeted $3,500 and didn't [1:29:27] use anything, >> right? And then the um office supplies [1:29:33] or or what's the other one? Travel, >> you know. [1:29:43] There's a lot to cut here, I think. [1:29:51] Looks like they're Well, the 110 we'll be able to cut [1:29:56] anyway. >> Yeah, [1:29:58] » that's the quarter ton, right? >> If we're going to cut that positioning. [1:30:03] » Yeah. I mean, that would fall under that 110. [1:30:05] » Yeah. And you know the thing that we can do Mike on that is at the first of the [1:30:10] year we set the office hours we could give them a lunch hour and then they [1:30:13] don't need that time person you know [1:30:24] » I think the election's got a lot to do with it well [1:30:30] » but they're not using it right now nobody's applied for [1:30:33] » and in reality in the whole four years that he's barely let it cuz she can't [1:30:37] keep some of it over. So, >> okay. So, on a that 38 is just her base [1:30:43] salary. >> Okay. So, I figured it out. [1:30:46] » 42. >> So, the 42 is the actual number. [1:30:48] » Well, she's going to bring out the slip. So, she [1:30:52] » Okay. What am I doing here? I got to write my notes down. [1:30:54] » So, I got a Let's call >> I need a bigger desk. God damn. Can you [1:30:59] budget for I'm sharing it with you. >> What's that? And you my guest, [1:31:05] she's piling her stuff. >> I can move that way. [1:31:08] » We'll we'll do it like junior high dances. Girls over here, police over [1:31:12] there. >> Not when I was going to school. [1:31:15] » Thanks, Christie. So, how many hours are you looking at for Stephanie's position? [1:31:27] Okay. [1:31:33] Okay. Because I actually we are going to cut your salaries cuz I budget her for [1:31:38] full time. [laughter] Yeah. I just looked at it and I'm like, [1:31:42] "Oh my god, I have her budgeted for full time." So I must have just been on a [1:31:46] roll there, right? No. No. I will fix that. So [1:31:52] » yeah, there's like thousands and thousands of dollars [1:31:55] » that Yes. >> easily. [1:31:58] » Easily. And we will. [1:32:05] » Okay. 24 in summer [1:32:10] and then >> I mean there's [1:32:14] » $3,000. >> Okay. Roughly. All right. Thank you. [1:32:18] » There's $6,000 in one page easy. >> Okay. So, she's going to work 24 hours [1:32:26] in the summer and 27 in the winter. >> Perfect. [1:32:29] » Per week because um she'll do the 3 hours on Saturdays. [1:32:35] » Perfect. Perfect. >> So, I don't even know how that figures [1:32:39] out, but that will change that. So, >> good. [1:32:43] » And it'll change. >> I'll go change it in the computer and [1:32:45] then we'll know. So, >> district court as well. [1:32:48] » Okay. What are we doing there? >> Well, her time isn't $1,600. [1:32:52] I don't even know, >> you know. [1:32:54] » So, what should it be? 300 and 600. That would be the 14. [1:32:58] » Let me see if I've got that spreadsheet we use. Kristen, [1:33:03] » just a second. >> Are we jumping back and forth? [1:33:06] » We are. >> I can't check my papers. [1:33:09] » I know. When we get past that, we'll go we'll go to the treasury. [1:33:14] » You guys might just have to come back next week. Yeah. [1:33:21] So I don't have to work under pressure making all. [1:33:24] » So she has 800 at district court >> and 300 in the superintendent. [1:33:31] » Oh, okay. Well, that's going to make a difference then. Wonder where the 1600 [1:33:35] came into play. >> I don't know. [1:33:39] » I don't either. Okay. District boards. [1:33:42] » That's a lot. >> Oh, I wonder if that was mine. [1:33:46] » Probably when you hire Oh, I know. It's when you hired her and you were still [1:33:50] working and you were training her. >> Oh, could be. [1:33:52] » Yeah, that was >> I forgot. [1:33:54] » Training. >> Okay. So, 800 [1:33:58] moved to 800 hours. >> And how many under the other? [1:34:01] » Three. >> 300. So, that's only 1,100. [1:34:04] » Yep. >> Okay. All right. That makes way more [1:34:06] sense. >> Good. That'll be a good bucket. [1:34:11] » Okay. So, I will fix those. Okay. So, [1:34:16] » next we're in the county treasure and park. Are we still not in mine? [1:34:19] » Nope, we're not there yet. >> That's where we're at. I thought we were [1:34:22] already through that. >> Well, we're cutting my person down to [1:34:24] quarter time. >> Yep. That's the only thing we're doing [1:34:26] on >> Yep. [1:34:28] » Now we're going to go next door. >> Oh man. [1:34:31] » And Mike is really >> And we did do some stuff to other [1:34:35] things. But yeah. Okay. We're on the treasure now. [1:34:37] » No. Get your eraser out. >> Okay. So for them, [1:34:42] I don't want this. I want this. Can't believe all the papers. I have to [1:34:47] keep track. >> Oh my gosh, Christie. [1:34:50] » Like like even you bought us, it's like >> I know. Okay, so we got Julie's, we got [1:34:55] Katie, >> the first line, we can get rid of that [1:34:58] amount. Correct. >> Well, the whole entire salary. [1:35:02] » No, [laughter] >> no. The part they didn't use that was [1:35:08] allocated. >> Well, so [1:35:10] » our office supplies >> this. [1:35:12] » Yeah. >> Oh, and 110. Are you looking [1:35:14] » 790343 first line? [1:35:18] » So >> I don't have a first line. [1:35:22] » 110. >> That one. [1:35:25] » Oh, you're way down there. >> No. So Christy has worked out what the [1:35:29] budget will be, but that 121582 includes a quarter time position, right? [1:35:37] » On the treasurer. >> Yeah. [1:35:39] » Yes. >> Of 110. [1:35:41] » Yes. [1:35:44] But that's the amount I would assume. >> No, cuz that doesn't include the raises, [1:35:51] right? So, >> okay. So, Julie's is 50. Well, hers is [1:35:56] 9. Well, I don't know. You want just the 110, right? So, hers comes to 58779 [1:36:01] and Katie's is 52,492 and then the clerk at quarter time is [1:36:07] 10,39. >> Well, let's get rid of quarter time [1:36:10] then. [1:36:14] And and if the first >> it hasn't been successful so far, so [1:36:17] let's get rid of it for now. You mean no part-time period? [1:36:20] » The first and they don't need it. They never [1:36:22] » Well, they haven't had anybody there other than one person for sure. [1:36:27] » I was that person for and even when I was sitting there, I'm like, you don't [1:36:30] need this position. But what we could do is give them a lunch hour. If if one [1:36:36] person is in there all the time, give them a lunch hour. [1:36:38] » And they do that already. >> Yeah. But make it official so that [1:36:41] people know not to come to town from Navajo at noon. [1:36:49] » Okay. >> Okay. Keep going. [1:36:52] » Um [1:36:58] secure. >> Okay. So, I'm taking that one off [1:37:02] completely. >> Yeah. [1:37:04] » Okay. >> Okay. [1:37:09] How about the uh 211? [1:37:13] » She needs a new copier. >> Oh, I was thinking about [1:37:17] » it's 3,500 bucks. It's never been used. >> I was thinking about [1:37:22] you copier. >> It's not like it's going to explode. [1:37:26] » Let's start at 210. She only used 1300. Can we move that to like 1500 or 1750? [1:37:33] » Okay. >> 1,500, [1:37:36] » whichever. Okay. And then but a copier is not going to be $3,500, is it? [1:37:42] » I don't know if she's actually looked at [1:37:46] one of those. >> Well, can I ask can I ask who's going to [1:37:51] purchase it? >> Which one? [1:37:54] » Yeah. I mean that ain't that the a big question? This is where we're kind of [1:38:00] running into some issues with that cuz you don't know the same kind of like [1:38:04] when we get to Jared it's going to be the same situation. It's like [1:38:07] » well that's what I'm getting at. >> It's like okay so if things switch out [1:38:11] then of course the the treasure position won't be as high paid because there's [1:38:17] not the five hour or the extra you know five [1:38:21] » and the other thing on >> well [1:38:23] » but you don't know so you got to budget for the whole thing. budget for it, [1:38:27] » but on that copier it's over 500, so they'd have to come with and get it [1:38:32] approved anyways. Um, so, [1:38:35] » and I don't know. I can go ask her if she's even looked at or if that's just [1:38:40] » Which one are you going to ask? >> Maybe just make her come in here and go [1:38:42] through this with us. [1:38:48] » Yeah. [1:38:58] That's what [1:39:05] somebody called me up the voter. >> Thank you. [1:39:09] » Ask me does a treasure spin. [1:39:13] » Doesn't have a formal quote on the on the cop here. [clears throat] He's just [1:39:16] been kind of limping that one along. But um I think she said she figured it was [1:39:22] 35 or she was to get a new one, but I haven't looked at them, so I don't [1:39:27] um Yeah. >> Who' you ask, [1:39:30] » Julie? >> Oh, okay. [1:39:33] » So, basically what they're doing is using that one until it blows up in [1:39:36] their face. But, you know, we could have money under the [1:39:40] county buildings to cover it if we take it. You know, if she doesn't have enough [1:39:44] out of this or something. I don't know. >> We could address it another way. [1:39:47] » Yeah. Well, it depends on how much we have to still have the copy. [1:39:51] » Well, I know, but for right now, we can put it back in if need be also. So, [1:39:55] » yeah, >> I think we should take it out for now [1:39:57] since it hasn't >> the whole thing [1:40:00] » or or the knock it to the 2500 >> or to Are you looking at 211 or 210? [1:40:06] » 211. >> Is there something? [1:40:10] » Is that really just you're looking at the copier as a problem in our office? [1:40:16] » It's not a problem. We have to cut 3300 3,000 $333,000 [1:40:21] out of all of our accounts. >> So everybody [1:40:24] » So we're kind of getting >> I get that. [1:40:26] » So if it comes down to certain things, we just kind of got to look. [1:40:29] » So what they're looking at basically is what was spent out of it last year [1:40:34] » versus what you That's why I came in last year cuz like here there was no [1:40:38] none coming out last year. >> No, I just Yeah, it's been the same [1:40:43] pretty much. >> So that's what they're looking at. [1:40:46] getting rid of stuff like that. >> Yeah. Um but that one is probably going [1:40:50] to need to say I was going to say office that might go down a little bit without [1:40:56] » Well, they they are looking at the 1500 because [1:41:00] » which one is >> you only spent 13 last year. [1:41:03] » That's what I'm saying. And that one probably will go down a little bit [1:41:06] because we're not [1:41:11] » It'll be on online. It's a little bit cheaper. [1:41:14] » What is Oh. [1:41:17] » Oh, yeah. Not paying for >> Yeah. [1:41:19] » Okay. >> Um, and that's going to go down. [1:41:23] I don't know exactly where I'm going to have to do the posting [1:41:28] » for >> Well, it's not going to be in the [1:41:30] newspaper anymore. >> Right. So, that's where That's what I [1:41:32] was telling you yesterday. Website, library, city, our door, the post [1:41:38] [snorts] office, >> right? But so that's going to go down [1:41:40] cuz I'm not going to be spending that. >> No, I don't mind off too. And [1:41:46] that's probably about it. >> Travel. I mean, your travel is way high [1:41:52] compared to what we use. >> Yeah. And that probably Well, it depends [1:41:55] on which year it is. That's why I think it's at 45 cuz on years when we have uh [1:42:00] schooling, there's two years of schooling. So that goes up. So that [1:42:05] would be and that'll be >> Are we a school year? [1:42:08] » Not next year. Yes. I believe next year. The next two years will be school years. [1:42:13] So this year won't be >> well yes fiscal year 27 will be in [1:42:20] April. >> So April you'll have schooling. [1:42:22] » Yes. In April there'll be school >> but that's just like a regular [1:42:26] convention, right? It's just the >> it's a it's a schooling. It's your [1:42:29] certification. >> I know. But it's a week of travel. [1:42:32] » Three 4 days. >> Yeah. So there's it's not like it's a [1:42:35] $3,000 expense. >> No, no, no, no, no. None of mine are. [1:42:38] » So does Katie go to that too? Different just you? [1:42:41] » No. Just treasure has to be certified. >> So basically if we double the 15 [1:42:49] this >> Yeah. Yeah. I mean you could probably [1:42:51] cut cut that by a,000 anyway. 1,500. Sorry. [1:42:56] » No, that's fine. >> But yeah, so that that's what I'm seeing [1:43:00] » that has to be there. >> Um [1:43:06] okay. So that's what I can see that probably could come out of mine from. [1:43:11] We'll cut the >> I would [1:43:13] » 370 to what? >> Would 2500 be enough? [1:43:17] » No, not if she's doing >> No, I would do three at a minimum [1:43:20] » cuz you've got two this year then. You've got it April and September, [1:43:24] right? >> Uh yes. Okay. [1:43:26] » This September I'll go. But it's only going to be in mile cities, [1:43:30] » right? But you still got hotel and all that, but the gas will be cheaper. [1:43:34] » Yeah, the gas will be cheaper. [snorts] >> Okay. [1:43:39] So, you're going to make that 3 grand instead of 45. [1:43:42] » I think that would probably be pretty dang close. Yeah. [1:43:45] » And then you already knocked this one down for your bond. [1:43:48] » Yeah, cuz it's only what 510. [1:43:53] » Yeah. >> And it's set at 1,400. So, I already [1:43:55] kind of knocked that one down. >> Wonder if we had to pay two one year. [1:43:59] Like, we were we were behind >> so we paid two. [1:44:02] » And yeah, that might have been something. But it's it's been that since [1:44:06] I've been here. But >> that might have came in the wrong. [1:44:10] » They might have instead of paying it in one fiscal year, we paid two of them in [1:44:13] this fiscal year. >> So then we just kept going with that. So [1:44:16] yeah. >> Yeah. So that one can definitely go [1:44:18] down. >> Okay. [1:44:20] » Well, you already have it down. Yeah. >> So we're good there. [1:44:22] » Yeah. >> Okay. So leave that. Do that. Leave [1:44:26] that. Leave that. Leave that. Leave that. This postage keeps going higher. [1:44:31] What do we decide on the copier then? It's probably going to be this year that [1:44:35] I'll have to replace that. And what uh Randy gave me [1:44:40] » off of, you know, what he was talking about was between 25 and $3,500, [1:44:46] » you know, so I don't know an exact amount. I didn't price it out as yet. [1:44:51] And oops, wrong thing this thing. Okay. So, we're going to [1:44:56] cut this down a,000 on office supplies and then 1,500 on. [1:45:05] » Okay. >> Okay. Does that help? [1:45:08] » Yeah. >> All right. Thank you. [1:45:14] » Okay. Well, that's a pretty good cut, I think. [1:45:16] » Yeah. >> Hello. [1:45:18] » Hi. >> You just ruined my whole entire day. [1:45:21] » Oh, no. cuz I only budgeted an extra 4,000 and something and we're up at [1:45:25] eight. >> Oh, yes. Um, this was like last year and [1:45:29] we were at >> You didn't use near enough. [1:45:35] » Oh, I was. Was Was that Britney you were just talking to? [1:45:38] » Yes. Do you want her? >> Yes. [1:45:40] » She didn't come in because I forgot to call her. [1:45:42] » Oh, perfect. >> Everybody Everybody gets to talk to us. [1:45:48] » Well, and I looked at the clock and I'm like, "Oh, it's 10:10. She's got a [1:45:51] meeting in 5 minutes. So, I didn't >> That was perfect cuz my meeting just got [1:45:55] over. >> So, it was good. How are you, guys? How [1:45:58] are you? Good. Um, I don't know. >> I know Gary likes paper. You want some [1:46:03] more paper, Gary? >> Do you think we need it? [1:46:06] » I don't know. >> I mean, did you look at our [1:46:08] » I sent them. I know. I I did send it electronically. So, if you don't want [1:46:13] the paper, you can toss it. That's >> Thanks. [laughter] [1:46:20] That's awesome. Um, so this is a grant that I would like to apply for. [1:46:25] [clears throat] My workforce grant is comes to an end [1:46:30] this June and it's 45,000 right around this about the same. Um, this one is [1:46:37] actually really cool and I think it's falls kind of right into some of the [1:46:42] things that I've seen I would like improvement. [1:46:45] » What's it called again >> on? It's P H I S O is the [1:46:50] » P H I S O is the acronym. >> Strengthening Montana tribal and local. [1:46:56] » Um and it's directed towards kind of the infrastructure of a public health [1:47:01] department. And it's all the things you can use it for is really fast. Um but [1:47:05] one of the things I would like to do is update our EOP manual. Right now it's [1:47:10] like three 3-in binders that is just full and stuff has kind of been just [1:47:16] over the years most of the things that I've seen some were updated 2014 and [1:47:21] then some were updated 2018 and I Mary has said that there was [1:47:26] updates made but they were all on a jump drive and the jump drive crashed. [1:47:30] » Nice. >> So we have none of that. [1:47:32] » This is your operation drive. >> That was your operation. [1:47:36] » Yep. >> Yep. the emergency. [1:47:39] » There you go. >> operations manual. And um so I'd like to [1:47:42] go through and update all of them and make them electronic and store them [1:47:49] electronically. Um there's a couple of different ways that Mary and I have kind [1:47:53] of talked about doing that. Um we could possibly have a public health SharePoint [1:47:57] like our own SharePoint. Um we could also do a The only problem with that is [1:48:03] you have to have certain emails to be able to use that. Um, but we could also [1:48:08] do a website. I've created a couple websites before. It's not hard. Um, and [1:48:12] it would be password protected, so controlled by myself. And then, yep, [1:48:18] backup would be Christy in case some if I were not to be here, then Christie [1:48:22] would have access. Um, so we could control who had access to that and we [1:48:26] could store all of the emergency preparedness stuff on that website. Um, [1:48:31] along with policies, procedures, that kind of stuff. kind of a forward- facing [1:48:37] public health website that would be available to who [1:48:41] we wanted it to be available to. And I've talked to Jessica about having ones [1:48:46] that are public facing that the public should have access to. Um, being able to [1:48:51] put them on our already made public health website, have a little folder in [1:48:55] there for that. Um, I just did the rabies one in itself, [1:49:01] rabies and animal bite, and it takes quite a bit of time. [1:49:05] um a lot something some of them a lot has changed and some of them nothing has [1:49:09] changed but knowing what has and hasn't um you have to vet it. So I would like [1:49:15] to to do that. Um Mary has is very willing to help with that and she's got [1:49:21] a vast information. Wyatt with D yes I'll have to work with him on that. Um [1:49:27] Leanne's got a lot of information. cam ship. There's just a lot of people that [1:49:31] it involves some stuff with the hospital, the school. Um, but trying to [1:49:35] kind of get that updated. And then this would also support. We currently do not [1:49:41] have a public health policies and procedure manual. We have our county [1:49:46] one. Um, so in line with that, I would like to create one specifically for [1:49:52] public health. And I wonder like with Mako, they have [1:49:57] um job descriptions and policy manuals. Do they have one for public health or [1:50:01] does DPHHS because they might have a template? [1:50:05] » They have some. They have like templateish. Um but I'm hoping Valley [1:50:11] County has a good one and they're working with the hospital right now. And [1:50:14] actually when I worked at the hospital in Glasgow, their policies and procedure [1:50:18] manual was amazing. >> Nice. [1:50:20] » Because there was very few questions. So you don't recreate the wheel? [1:50:24] » No, but it would be I would like to kind of [1:50:28] » I I know Nick well enough. I think he would provide us with that and what [1:50:32] they're doing in terms of with their public health kind of um to make it vast [1:50:38] and encompassing. So there's not so much gray area cuz right now there's just a [1:50:42] lot of things that are like at the discretion of the director which is [1:50:45] great. But if there's not a guideline for that, um, that can change [1:50:50] drastically from one person to the next. So, I think it's good to have some [1:50:55] guidelines in place. >> I like hearing though. [1:50:58] » Um, and that that is a big ontaking, too. But I enjoy those kinds of things. [1:51:04] And I think it's necessary to have continuity, [1:51:08] » not just for me, but for years to come. It's something that should serve and, [1:51:14] you know, have a plan for updates and who updates and when and um [1:51:19] » we've learned that jump drives don't work [laughter] and that is sad. That's [1:51:23] so sad because that's a lot of work. That's [1:51:26] » So, you need a letter of support from us. [1:51:29] » Yes. By So, there is a change. So, what it says in there, it said for that you [1:51:33] were supposed to have it on when you submit your application. You don't. We [1:51:38] have to have it by that October. We can get it 18. [1:51:42] » Okay. >> What do you need in it? [1:51:45] » Um, that's something. So, they actually have kind of I've been on a couple [1:51:48] different meetings. They've kind of postponed that piece because they don't [1:51:51] know. >> Okay. [laughter] [1:51:52] » They said they jump the gun and so whoever is goes on to like the next [1:51:57] phase, they will have uh something drawn up for the commissioners at that point [1:52:02] of what they're requesting because someone's like, "Well, I have a sticky [1:52:06] note that says it's okay. Does that work?" Yeah. [1:52:08] » And they're like, "Well, actually doesn't say that it doesn't." So, [1:52:13] » so, um, there's no money expected from the [1:52:19] county or your budget. So, I, uh, would make a motion to Do we need a motion? I [1:52:26] guess >> I But what do you make a motion on [1:52:29] really? So, [1:52:31] » approve it. Yeah. >> Approve me to apply. [1:52:34] » Yeah. >> Yeah. Do you want to let us play? [1:52:42] » So, it's part of the budget is how we're um Christ, you had a brilliant idea. [1:52:47] This is a budget item. >> It really is cuz my $45,000 grant that [1:52:52] supports my salary ends in June. Um without that, something to [1:52:59] come after that. >> But this comes in October. [1:53:02] » December. >> December. Okay. Well, it starts January [1:53:05] 1st actually is when it starts. Um, so it would overlap for 6 months, but I've [1:53:11] already talked to my the grant for my workforce grant. We can work that to [1:53:16] where I can move that up into like the first 6 months more so um if if there's [1:53:21] a question. [clears throat] So, but it doesn't specifically say it starts in [1:53:25] December. Doesn't say I have to use it. So my question then as we're cutting [1:53:31] budgets out of the general fund which is the public health department [1:53:35] » the 240 hours that you had me budget for wages [1:53:38] » that would go away. >> Could we That's what I'm asking. [1:53:42] » Can So if I do away with it other than [1:53:46] Mary's hours, you can you guys can no longer charge anything to it right now [1:53:51] cuz it'll be gone. Well, that's hard because the hard part is because I'm not [1:53:57] guaranteed this. >> Yeah. [1:53:59] » Oh, yeah. You're true. Okay. That's no big deal. [1:54:02] » I won't know until October 18th. >> Come October 18th, then. [1:54:08] » It's not going to help with our budgeting. [1:54:10] Not that little. >> Not right now. No. [1:54:13] » Um, between my cut hers upstairs, we're at $51,000 [1:54:21] that we cut out. I'm at 79. Oh, but this is fair and senior center library. [1:54:26] » Oh, yeah. I'm just talking about what we just did. But anyway, go ahead, Britney. [1:54:30] Sorry. >> Um, so that would be able to be given [1:54:34] back. So, I mean, if that were >> to come into play. Um, [1:54:40] » that's a good plan. >> Yeah. [1:54:42] » Go for it. >> Okay. I'll do my best. [1:54:45] » Good job. >> First first [1:54:48] grant written. So, [1:54:51] » no, [laughter] >> it was a good it was a good learning it [1:54:54] was a good learning experience. >> They haven't [1:54:58] given it to no one yet. >> Nope. Um, so we're just what I need [1:55:02] today is I need the approval to be able to apply and so I'm applying. [1:55:06] » Well, I'm just what little I do read. guys that they all [1:55:10] » so September 18th is when they will announce [1:55:14] who all um has and I've been on a couple calls and it's interesting because there [1:55:20] was like seven different counties on the last call and five of them are [1:55:24] requesting to use it for pretty much the exact same thing for writing manuals and [1:55:30] updating their EOP policy and stuff like that. So, I did hear some were back from [1:55:34] 2005. So, that made me feel a little bit better [laughter] [1:55:38] like Okay. Um, is there anything else you guys need from me or [1:55:42] » I don't think right now we're good. >> Okay, awesome. I appreciate you seeing [1:55:46] me today on short notice. >> Let me know on that other that you [1:55:50] talked about in case you need a signature or whatever. [1:55:53] » Okay. Um, I will I will do that. We have I'm meeting Monday with the hospital to [1:55:58] discuss the subcontract. So, and I have just that's the meeting I [1:56:02] was on just now was with the bureau chief and the head of the immunization [1:56:09] for they've had some different direction for us. So, it's been made very clear [1:56:14] that >> we are the subcontractor or we the [1:56:18] contractor of the state and the hospital is a subcontractor of us. So, there [1:56:24] should be no communication between the hospital and the state. [1:56:28] Yeah, I think at one point it had that way. [1:56:32] » Yep. And it and um the deliverables, this is also [1:56:39] different. The deliverables will all come from us too. So the hospital will [1:56:44] report them to us, we report them to the state. So that's a change too. So they [1:56:49] said it's it had kind of get gotten a little out of control with the state [1:56:53] » with all of them. Yeah. And they're coming in from all people. Yeah. So they [1:56:57] have kind of put a hard stop to that. So like the I'm glad we had a discussion [1:57:03] today that [laughter] >> the sun thing. [1:57:06] » What's that? >> How was the skin bus? [1:57:09] » I think it went really well. >> Did it? [1:57:11] » Yeah. It was busy. And >> were you full? [1:57:13] » Had good days. I'm not exactly sure how full it was. I haven't talked to L about [1:57:17] her numbers on that for sure yet, but pretty close. I think [1:57:20] » I know two people forgot about it. Yeah, we had a couple that didn't didn't make [1:57:25] it, but that happens. When I was there, it was [laughter] [1:57:30] » you and goodness. But yeah, so okay, sounds good. Thanks, guys. [1:57:35] » My my busy schedule, it's hard. >> I know. Well, when you have all those [1:57:39] papers, [laughter] >> don't add to it. I said what I wanted to [1:57:43] know. >> Perfect. Thanks. [1:57:45] » Thank you. [1:57:51] more paperwork. And I had got all that off the computer [1:57:56] the other day. [1:58:02] So, getting back to my calculator. [1:58:07] » What was the third thing on the treasure? I got the $1,000 and $1,500. [1:58:12] What else was there? >> Well, we were talk discussing the [1:58:15] » the um [1:58:16] » printer, but >> uh the part-time position. [1:58:20] » No. No, we got What did we do with the computer? [1:58:24] » Left the copier. >> We left that printer copier. [1:58:26] » Just left that. Yeah. >> Yeah. [1:58:28] » So, all we talked about was office supplies and [1:58:32] travel >> and part time [1:58:34] » and the part [clears throat] time. >> Well, that's Yeah. [1:58:39] » For now. >> So, that's Yeah. [1:58:43] » No part time. >> No, no part time. [1:58:48] » Yeah. Between that upstairs and me, we're at 51,000. Now I got to go figure [1:58:53] out the library one. Then got to add more. [1:59:24] Yeah, the tax appeal board budget. I know you probably have to have that. [1:59:29] Nothing's ever been used, >> right? Yeah. [1:59:46] I can kind of see what yellow how Yellowstone County did theirs just got [1:59:51] rid of the programs more sweeping. >> Yep. [1:59:58] » Yeah. I think it just >> I don't think that's necessarily right, [2:00:01] but that was the way they approached it. >> Well, some of you know over time you [2:00:06] just keep adding and adding and adding and nobody ever takes a hard look at it. [2:00:09] And you know, the state saying that counties spend too much money [2:00:16] may or may not be right. And it it it kind of aggravating that they're taking [2:00:21] the direction from us, but >> it does force us to clean some stuff up. [2:00:27] » Okay. So, between all of those right now, that's just the salary stuff. We're [2:00:33] at 69525. That's not counting if we get rid of [2:00:37] that deputy position or not. Okay, so we're done with the treasure. [2:00:42] » Yeah, I just hit tax appeal board >> budget. We can't really do much with [2:00:47] that, can we? >> The only thing that [2:00:49] » it's a huge amount >> is nobody I mean, we never use it, but [2:00:53] you got to have it in case somebody decides there might be a lot of tax [2:00:56] appeals this go around. There's a lot of people that are going to probably be [2:00:58] unhappy. They did fill out the right paperwork. [2:01:02] » Well, we'll leave that alone then for now. [2:01:06] » State examiner budget. >> That's auditors. So that's what that is [2:01:11] » that we can't do much about >> to dispatch. [2:01:15] » Oh, sorry. I got out of line cuz I just blank it. [2:01:21] » Dispatch. [2:01:33] » My god, we're getting by Brian printers all the time. [2:01:41] Why do we need color printers? Wow. I don't know. [2:01:57] And ain't this the one that gets four revenues? [2:02:02] » Yes, it's part of that. Yeah. >> Yeah. [2:02:07] They're 370 travel. They didn't use Ardania. [2:02:11] [snorts] >> Well, I do know that they're going to [2:02:13] have two new dispatchers that are going to have to go to training. That's 3 week [2:02:18] training. They stay at the law enforcement academy, I guess. I don't [2:02:20] know. But [2:02:22] » what was that bill that you gave? Was that for the deputy? Oh, it wasn't [2:02:27] » that one I asked if you guys had seen. >> Mhm. [2:02:31] » Was it for Madison or Mason or >> Yeah, maybe. Yeah. I didn't really look [2:02:36] at cuz I was like, "Where'd that come from?" But yeah, [2:02:44] and somebody might have just set it on my desk, too. Um, okay. So, [2:02:50] » well, I'll just go through the lines and >> Okay. So, what I'm I'll explain the [2:02:54] salary. Bless you. >> So, what I've done here is I budgeted a [2:02:59] full time. Bless you. >> Full-time for Shauna. Fulltime for [2:03:03] Shauna. for both genres. And then I did another full-time [2:03:10] for all their equals of their part-time people if they were to have the the two [2:03:17] that they should get that are part-time, but I don't know if that might be too [2:03:20] much money at this point. >> And then Susan, right? [2:03:24] » Well, that's on the 2,300. >> Oh, okay. Okay. [2:03:27] » Yeah. And then Yeah. So that's that I think. [2:03:33] See, we used to budget for training [clears throat] hours, but I somehow [2:03:36] think that can just go away. >> Yeah, I think so, too. [2:03:40] » I think that can be part of the [snorts] 2008 that I have up there. [2:03:46] » Well, we can start at 210 then probably. >> They didn't use hardly any of that, [2:03:52] » right? But I can if you want to. That will take that'll clear up $8,6. [2:04:01] » Yeah, let's do that. Let me see where they what they use though. Yeah, cuz [2:04:05] they use [snorts] compared to Okay, so dispatch. See, some of this stuff is [2:04:11] just been sitting there and just keeps getting redone. So, this is actually a [2:04:14] really good thing we're doing. [2:04:19] Okay. [2:04:26] 800681. [2:04:30] Okay. [2:04:34] Okay. So, my god, she even upped it. [2:04:39] » Yeah. [clears throat] >> Everything got up. [2:04:42] » Yeah. I I think we need to cut that one. >> Let's see what they got. [2:04:46] » See what they actually Why downgrade it? >> So, you're at 211. Is that where you [2:04:52] want to start? >> Okay. So, at 210. Well, we can do 210. [2:04:55] » Okay. 210. >> We originally budgeted 16.44 44 and she [2:04:59] spent 505. And now I see she's moved it to the [2:05:04] 1,600 cuz this column, this is the wrong column. So that's why I printed this. [2:05:10] » Can we just go 750 on that one for now? >> Yep. [2:05:15] For 210. >> Yeah. [2:05:19] » Yeah. >> Okay. [2:05:20] » So that's that'll be a savings of roughly 750 bucks at least. [2:05:26] So apparently she needs new printers. >> Yeah, that I don't know. [2:05:31] » And see, to me, some of the stuff can come out of the 911. It's a dispatch [2:05:35] center, >> you know, that's what 911's for. But [2:05:38] » let's take that down to 500 bucks. >> Yeah, I agree with that. For now, [2:05:41] » take it down to take 1,500. >> And and this whole color printer thing, [2:05:47] really? Do you have to have colors? >> It's so much more expensive. [2:05:51] » I don't know if they do or not. >> I want them to ask that question, [2:05:54] » you know. Do you really know that top one? [2:05:58] » I mean, it's nice. It's pretty all that, but it's just so expensive. [2:06:01] » Yeah. >> 220. [2:06:05] » Okay. 220. Um, >> same thing. You want to just get that to [2:06:09] 500 bucks? >> She actually spent 308 out of that. [2:06:16] » Did you say take it to 500? Yeah. >> Take 200 off. [2:06:20] » Yep. >> Okay. of the proposed [2:06:23] » the 230 she did not spend any of that >> well 230 310 and 320 [2:06:37] » just take them down to zero >> she didn't use any postage [2:06:41] » any I don't know what's going on >> do they use for Yeah I don't know do [2:06:45] they mail stuff okay let me let me double check no um she didn't did not [2:06:49] did Not out of any of those [2:06:53] » those three. Should we just take them to zero for now? [2:06:56] » Yeah. >> Okay. [2:07:02] » 330. >> 330. [2:07:05] » So 3:30. She actually spent 1473 out of it [2:07:11] and it was originally a 6,629 budget. [2:07:17] » Should we take it to $1,750? That's yeah, more generous than what I thought. [2:07:22] » You know, just in case. I don't know what kind of I don't have the [2:07:25] subtraction of >> Well, that's what I said. Originally, [2:07:30] she was budgeted 600 $6,629 off. [2:07:34] » Crazy. >> And she only used 1473. [2:07:39] » Yeah. Let's give her$,750 to spend there. [2:07:42] » So, she can have $,750 for 4,000. Okay. So, how much does that [2:07:47] take that down? Um 20 >> 2250. [2:07:50] » Yeah. Thank you. >> Why can't we use better numbers? I mean, [2:07:55] why have to think about this? >> That was your number at 50. You know [2:08:01] what? I'm >> making it 18 or 17. [2:08:06] » Okay. So, 350. >> We're not spraying the car. [2:08:12] » We're not. >> 360. [2:08:16] We just >> she Yeah. So she Yeah. She [2:08:19] [clears throat] actually took that down because originally it was 2475. [2:08:24] So >> leave it at two then. [2:08:25] » Yeah. >> 370. [2:08:28] » That's the travel. And that's like I said, I'm not [2:08:31] » Well, they're not using. >> She actually did drop it down because it [2:08:35] was originally 8,288 was the original. that to send two [2:08:40] dispatchers to. So, um, [2:08:44] » would three grand covers though versus >> I don't know. She knocked down actually [2:08:48] $3,288 off of there. Okay. [2:08:52] » If she was using the real >> How come you got a different numbers [2:08:54] than I >> because because that's why I gave you [2:08:57] this to show the real thing. >> So, just leave it at five. [2:09:01] » But I can't find it in here. >> But the 38 [2:09:04] » I even broke it down by the twos. The 380 is on training, too. I mean, [2:09:09] » but that's just >> Okay, the 380. [2:09:12] » She didn't spend any of it out of there last year, and she had 25. I mean, there [2:09:17] should have been 2500 in that. >> Oh, it is in there. Okay. And she spent [2:09:21] nothing out of it. So, I don't know why we would keep [2:09:24] » Let's just get rid of it for now. >> Or do you want to leave 500 in just in [2:09:29] case? >> Yeah. 500. [2:09:30] » That would be 510 or >> Yeah. 52517. [2:09:35] Jeez. [snorts] >> So minus 2 grand on that. [2:09:42] [snorts] >> And it doesn't look like [2:09:44] » And then the 390 originally was 220 and she used 1693. [2:09:52] » Probably leave that alone or you want to leave it at 2,000 [2:09:56] » and she put 2,000. Yeah, she already did knock 202 off of there. So yeah. [2:10:01] » Okay. >> Nice. [2:10:03] » So what's the total there people? Oh, that we [2:10:06] » besides the 8,000 that I took off. >> Um, I've got two. I got 4250 43 44 4550 [2:10:17] 4550 4750 [2:10:22] 50 55 67,000 [2:10:26] » plus the plus 8,000. Yep. Okay. So, $15,625. [2:10:38] » Keep it up. Keep it up. [laughter] [2:10:42] » God, we don't even have to work on page two, huh? [2:10:45] » So, my position was [2:10:54] 13. Look at me getting rid of $13,000 on my budget. [2:11:00] Public safety >> is that Lisa? [2:11:03] » Yeah. 13. Well, >> the fire [2:11:06] » 200 telling me they're really having communication problems [2:11:10] » is what I'm getting online. Explain. They have to [2:11:15] » push one button then another button and go to that button. [2:11:19] » I just put an extra >> 10. Was that Would that be about right [2:11:24] » for DY? No. 19. What? The district court one's 19,770 [2:11:30] and the superintendent is 7,413. Um, yeah, we just doubled them. Just cut [2:11:37] them in half because we had double the amount there for that when you were [2:11:40] training and stuff. >> Oh, okay. Okay. So, what's your total [2:11:43] for district court? >> Those two figures plus we had 5,400 on. [2:11:49] So, I don't know. >> But you don't want to put the [2:11:51] superintendent in. >> Oh, no. Mr. Cart 19770 [2:11:56] plus the 54 [2:12:01] 25,000 >> even. [2:12:04] » Well 25,170 [2:12:08] » at 32 cents. >> Okay, [2:12:12] » that's going to get you at 32 cents. >> What's this? Oh, I guess we haven't hit [2:12:16] the superintendent. >> No, we have not. [2:12:19] » So then dispatch, we're at the What were we at? $15,06. [2:12:27] Okay. Okay. Now, on to the sharing [2:12:34] » public safety. We have that. That's a levy. [2:12:38] » That's not yet, though. We're still in the general fund. [2:12:41] » We're going by this. >> I'm going by the ones that she had here. [2:12:44] But >> yeah, that's fine. We'll we'll get [2:12:47] there. >> You didn't find it in there. That [2:12:51] shouldn't have been if I ran off the general fund. That shouldn't have been [2:12:54] in there. >> Sheriff is. [2:12:58] » Yeah. >> So, sheriff, [2:13:02] » I guess we have to go our first wages. Are we going to take that out or what [2:13:09] are we going to do? >> Yes. [2:13:11] » Are we going to call them and talk to him about it or what are we going to do? [2:13:15] » Nope. >> We still got a board. We'll let them [2:13:18] announce it. So that's 82 [2:13:23] » 82618 >> 618. Okay. [2:13:29] » So that will help out the retirement and it'll also help out the insurance. [2:13:34] » Okay. >> But [2:13:36] » yeah, that'll probably >> they're all on the same spreadsheet. So [2:13:39] it will count. >> That'll be a $100,000 swing. [2:13:44] » Why? >> Well, with insurance. [2:13:46] » No, that's the total. >> Oh, that is with both those items in [2:13:50] there. Okay. Okay. >> That's why I said that will help that [2:13:54] out. It'll take the 21849 out of the insurance and the 6,500 out of the [2:14:00] retirement. So, >> okay. [2:14:03] » 141 is where we're at. >> Okay. Back to we should be down to [2:14:10] starting at 210 now. >> So, starting at 210. [2:14:14] » Yep. >> So, [2:14:15] » they've got 2,000 budgeted. They only use 540. [2:14:19] » Yep. >> So take a,000 off that. [2:14:21] » Yeah. >> Okay. [2:14:26] » So we're going to make000, right? So we're subtracting. [2:14:30] Okay. >> That's on 210, correct? [2:14:32] » Yep. >> Look at 211. Oh yeah, that's the new [2:14:35] radios. New radio for the crown. Is that really that expensive? [2:14:39] » I was going to say, where does that $10,000 come at? Are they that much [2:14:44] money? >> I don't know. Those [2:14:46] » the ones that they put in the other ones were because of their capabilities, [2:14:50] » the trunking capability. >> Yep. And and they needed that. I [2:14:56] remember something to do with the highway patrol communication back and [2:15:00] forth also. [2:15:03] » And and this is their city car. That ground brick that they drive from the [2:15:07] city. >> They don't drive. They don't even drive [2:15:09] it. It's a backup car. >> I was going to say, why don't [2:15:11] » I've actually seen it come out by my place. [2:15:14] » Yeah. because they had the other one getting worked up. It's their backup [2:15:17] car. They don't technically use it. >> Do they really need that kind of money [2:15:21] into that vehicle? >> You know what I would say? [2:15:24] » Probably not. >> You know what I would say is not? We [2:15:27] can't do it this year. Let's look at it because it's a backup. Let's do it later [2:15:33] cuz we don't have that other >> money just to sit around. [2:15:36] » Pay for it out of the 2,300. There you go. [2:15:39] » Well, that's the choice I would give them. You know, they have that other one [2:15:43] to >> Okay, so we are not approving the [2:15:47] 10,000, but do we >> that one? [2:15:49] » Do we leave anything in there? >> Where? Which one are we on? [2:15:53] » 11. I don't know. He's never spent anything out of there before. [2:15:55] » There's 5,000 in there, and they don't use any of it. [2:15:58] » There's 3,000 in there. >> Yeah. [2:16:00] » Oh, this one says five. >> Oh, yeah. It does say five. [2:16:03] » It says 5,000 on it. >> You're right. Correct us on our own [2:16:06] stuff. >> Oh, yeah. Because this is the updated [2:16:09] one. The wrong one. So that was >> what should we put it to? [2:16:16] » So he had 5,000 and he never spent any. >> Most of that equipment stuff comes out [2:16:20] of the 2,300 or has been, hasn't it? >> Can I [clears throat] got a question to [2:16:27] ask? I'm looking at $3,000 in that and they don't use that. You're looking at a [2:16:32] $5,000 and they don't use that. So why don't we just deplete eliminate it? I [2:16:37] mean, >> so it's for um equipment and machinery. [2:16:41] So if their office needs a printer or if they need um you know, so a little [2:16:48] something just in case >> 3,000 [2:16:50] » but not I think three is too much. So >> yeah, I'd say,000. [2:16:54] » Yeah. [2:16:58] » So we're subtracting actually $9,000 off of what he wanted. [2:17:03] » Mhm. >> Okay. [2:17:07] 220. >> 220. [2:17:11] » This is their guns. [snorts] And >> so 11,000 is really what was budgeted. [2:17:18] Um they spent >> 220s guns. [2:17:20] » They spent 6,392. It's guns. It's um their ammo, isn't it? [2:17:26] » Oh, >> is it their ammo for shooting? [2:17:28] » 220. their clothes, >> firearms, janitorials. [2:17:33] » And why do we buy their clothes? >> Clothing uniforms. [2:17:35] » Because the commissioner decided a long time ago they would buy them. [2:17:38] » And I wasn't on the board. Don't blame me. [2:17:41] » Wow. >> All right. So [2:17:45] [snorts] So they actually spent $6,392. [2:17:52] » Well, that's >> Well, they must be well equipped [2:17:54] clothing wise and guns and animals. I mean, they don't haven't had a war yet. [2:17:59] So why do we need such a large? You want to keep it at 7500. [2:18:03] » I like that. 7500. >> Okay. So we're deducting [2:18:07] » 3500. >> I hope I don't ever have an emergency at [2:18:11] my house, >> right? [2:18:13] » Let me dress good. >> Okay. 230. That's So they actually had [2:18:20] 2,000, but they actually spent 920. >> Oh, this is [2:18:24] gas. >> He's just leaving it as where he has it. [2:18:28] Do you want to take it down to 1,500? >> Why is the gas [2:18:33] Christy? Don't they go through a lot of gas? [2:18:36] » Yeah, that's an that has a different >> Oh, okay. And this is a repair [2:18:40] maintenance and >> their gas is 231 actually, [2:18:45] » but the city pays for that some of that. >> Not anymore. [2:18:48] » No, I mean, but they're paying for it. They're giving it to us still. [2:18:52] » But we can't. >> It's just in a lump sum of that dollar [2:18:55] figure. Correct. >> Well, yeah. a lot less than what it was. [2:18:58] But yeah. Yeah. Okay. So, because down at 231 when the [2:19:03] next line >> 230, what are we doing? [2:19:07] » You know, [2:19:10] we've cut a lot and it is for things like oil changes [2:19:16] and stuff like that. >> Yep. [2:19:19] » Apparently, they don't have very many >> tires. I think we should [2:19:22] » leave it. >> Leave it at two. It's not that bad. [2:19:25] » Okay. The next one is their fuel. [2:19:29] Um, where I have here >> I've got a comment. [2:19:32] » So, actually last year we budgeted 15,000. [2:19:37] » Mhm. >> And they spent 1483072. [2:19:41] So, he's just leaving it at what it was last year. [2:19:44] » That's probably fine. >> Well, not really. I think we should come [2:19:48] back and tell them shut their damn vehicles off. [laughter] [2:19:50] Period. They don't I mean give them a reason why we're cutting it down to just [2:19:56] a little bit to send a message to them. >> At least in the summertime. [2:20:01] » I mean >> at least when it's not 50 below. [2:20:06] » Well, I've seen them like I said they'll come to do court work and it'll sit out [2:20:11] there for 2 hours and run. >> I mean I have more people telling me [2:20:14] they see them cop vehicles not shut off. I mean let's send them a message [2:20:19] somehow. And this is our only tool to do it is [2:20:23] the budget. >> Well, what what's your suggestion for [2:20:27] dollars? Would they spend that if they spent almost all of it? Yeah. [2:20:33] » 14830. >> I think getting [2:20:34] » I know the gas of that extra deputy might be [2:20:38] » I mean I'd like to send them a message [2:20:44] » but they'll just keep using it whether it's budgeted or not. So [2:20:47] » I don't. And so, but they'll have to take it out of another account [2:20:51] » and it doesn't really come out because this is the general fund. So, it has all [2:20:55] that extra backup money. >> This is why they leave it on. Montana [2:20:59] sheriff and patrol vehicles run while parked to power heavy onboard [2:21:03] electronics like computers, cameras, and radios. That way, when they get back in, [2:21:08] they don't have to wait for all those systems to boot back up. [2:21:10] » That makes sense. That makes sense. [2:21:15] Now that we have all that crap in it, >> why couldn't they just tell us that? [2:21:20] » Right. [2:21:27] » There goes my >> Does anybody ever ask him? [2:21:29] » Yes, all the time. >> I was always told back in the day. [2:21:33] » So, why not have to leave that alone then? [2:21:35] » Yep. >> Yeah. [2:21:37] » We were always told in the winter because that way they didn't have to [2:21:39] worry about eating up their vehicles. Okay. So, we left there. We're on [2:21:44] » 310. Looks like we can. >> That's postage. Um [2:21:48] Oh, well, I don't think so. Cuz last year we budgeted 500 and they spent [2:21:53] $3,000. >> Why? [2:21:55] » And $2. >> Why? Why did they? I don't know. Oh, [2:22:02] well, no, that wouldn't be it. >> Did they have to ship stuff back? [2:22:07] » Well, I know they have to. Did I look at the wrong one? [2:22:11] That should have been on 310 >> that other [2:22:15] » red tail or something >> permanently or is it did they have to [2:22:19] » Well, I know they have to send the >> um God we haven't paid for that for a [2:22:24] long time though. >> The [2:22:26] » unless they're unless they're just using their credit card every time they go to [2:22:30] the post office cuz they used to come here and get a check. I can go run a [2:22:34] detail and see what it is. [2:22:40] I'm mad >> cuz you can't cut it cuz you have to [2:22:44] » they're gas. I wanted to send them a message so bad, you know, come up and [2:22:48] say, "Why'd you cut our budget?" Cuz shut the damn vehicles off. You know, I [2:22:52] mean, that's a [snorts] [2:22:57] » Now I can explain to my friends that ask me why they running the state [2:23:01] department. >> That's the That's the Why didn't you [2:23:04] tell us that, right? Don't just roll your eyes at the [2:23:09] » They don't have They don't have to tell us nothing unless they're asked. [2:23:14] » They should. >> I know they should. [2:23:16] » If you want to play nice, you talk to each other. [2:23:20] [snorts] >> Don't worry about Nick. [2:23:24] » Okay, you can play Mike Steven. [2:23:30] » So, postage towing vehicles. No. Yeah. [2:23:36] » Postage, another vehicle we're towing, plus a [2:23:40] bunch of postage and title and plate fees. So, yeah, [2:23:45] that's the one. >> Yeah, looking back up on that now. I [2:23:47] understand. >> So, there's a lot of communication stuff [2:23:50] they did on that one particular. >> So, the one towing maybe we [2:23:56] » So, they do pay for towing vehicles out of there. [2:23:58] » Do you think we're going to towes maybe? >> You never know. Who would have ever [2:24:02] thought we'd had to to do what we did there with [2:24:05] » Yeah. Because >> one individual I mean it was [2:24:07] » 75 that was 20 >> two companies towing. [2:24:10] » True. >> That was $2,220. [2:24:14] » But doesn't that get reimbured out of the [2:24:17] » It should come back out of out of hit the person's [2:24:22] » the proceeds of the sale. >> Yes. Or whatever. [2:24:24] » But we can't the audit. We used to reimburse the [2:24:30] expenditures accounts and the auditors told us we cannot do that. [2:24:33] » It goes back to send >> it just goes back into the revenue as [2:24:36] miscellaneous revenue or something. So unfortunately [2:24:41] technically that comes back >> that that part of it but you got to have [2:24:46] » but you got to have it to spend. >> Yeah. [2:24:48] » So what do you want to do on that account then [2:24:53] » on 320? >> Yeah. Or 310 [2:24:55] » or 310? I don't know if you can actually. [2:24:59] » So in reality, >> it's got to change every all the time. [2:25:02] So >> So we got to have a cushion for it. [2:25:04] » So 310 we originally budgeted the 500 like it's in [2:25:09] there. >> Mhm. [2:25:10] » But we did end up spending the 2,000 or the $3,02. [2:25:15] » But that money comes back on another side. [2:25:18] » It can, but not all of it cuz I think I don't know. I think [2:25:22] » you want to raise that to a,000. >> Yeah, I kind of think so. just [2:25:27] » well he has 1,000 in there so just leave it as is. [2:25:30] » Y [snorts] [2:25:32] » 320 that is printing [2:25:35] and binding. So if he needs to print out ticket books if [2:25:42] he needs to they have Oh that's right they print those out and I thought he's [2:25:48] » he's a thousand over though. Okay. So, we originally budgeted 1,200 [2:25:54] and he spent 887. >> Oh, 887. [2:25:58] » Yeah. >> Let's knock it down to a,000. [2:26:04] » What did he put? Isn't that what he has? >> 1,200. [2:26:08] » Okay. So, we're going to take off 200. We're going to minus 200. Okay. [2:26:17] 330. The 1900 is correct. And they spent [2:26:25] 11. Where am I at? 330. >> 117908. [2:26:28] » Yeah. 117908. So >> we could take that to 1,500, I guess. [2:26:33] » Yep. >> It's not as fun as as skits where we [2:26:38] used to knock off thousands of dollars. [2:26:44] » Okay. The next one 340 that's utilities. So we [2:26:49] probably >> Holy cow. He spent 76 375. [2:26:53] » They've got what? Four cell phones and then all the stuff they use for the [2:26:56] computers and all the all of that. So the 8,000 is probably pretty good. [2:27:02] » Yeah. >> 350. [2:27:04] He left that zero. So that's good. Um, [2:27:10] » he spent 14,152 of 360 360. What's 360? [2:27:17] » That's >> So that's repairs. Um, let's go see what [2:27:21] that was >> on which one? [2:27:23] » The 360. Let me print out. >> Well, there was repairs on Yeah, they [2:27:28] put a new engine and stuff in that blue pickup. [2:27:33] » And >> and transmission [2:27:34] » and he picked up the um [2:27:39] there was dents and stuff and stuff that you fixed. [2:27:43] » Oh, yeah. On that back window and stuff. Yeah. [2:27:47] Hit. [2:28:12] So that's the oil changes, the new tires. [2:28:16] Where did the pickup the engine and transmission come out of for that [2:28:22] uh Dwayne's old pickup? [2:28:26] » That was around 15,000 in itself, I think. [2:28:32] » Not [snorts] here. Wonder if it came out of a different fund like maybe the [2:28:37] milling >> came out of the 2,300. [2:28:41] » Yeah, >> that was 20,000 almost. [2:28:44] » Was it >> 195? Yeah. [2:28:46] » Yeah. >> Okay. [2:29:01] [clears throat] >> So, we're leaving that. Leaving that. [2:29:06] » We leaving at 15 at 360. [2:29:12] » They spent 145 152. So, >> we're leaving it at 15. [2:29:16] » Yeah, probably at least this year. >> I like them having the ability to fix [2:29:21] things. [cough and clears throat] [2:29:24] » So, the 370 is travel. >> Um, [2:29:31] they shouldn't be sending anybody anywhere. [2:29:33] » I can't imagine, especially if they're not going to hire another deputy right [2:29:36] now. I think we could knock that down some. [2:29:40] » 225. Yeah, they spent 1368 out of it last year. [2:29:44] » Let's do 2,000. So, knock it down three grand. [2:29:51] » Knock it down two, three >> to 2,000. [2:29:55] » It'll be 2,000 left in there for them to manage. [2:30:02] » But you know what's bad? >> Why do I have a minus 400? What did we [2:30:06] minus 400 off of anything? Yeah, we did the uh 330. [2:30:11] » 330. Okay. I didn't have that on here. I had it on one paper and not the other. [2:30:16] Okay. [snorts] >> What's that? 3. [2:30:21] » Okay. So, >> we can cut them all you want cuz you'll [2:30:24] find another budget to you work on. >> They're not going to get as much money [2:30:28] though. >> No, but I mean, look at they've got [2:30:30] three different sources they can >> No, that's fine. [2:30:35] » 530 is rent. >> What about 3.90? Oh, I thought we [2:30:39] already did that one. My bad. >> That's the one we're [2:30:42] » Oh, 390. Um, [2:30:47] they over spent that one by 2,241. So, they originally had 2,000. [2:30:55] Yep. And they spent the 4,238. >> 390. [2:30:59] » Why don't we just leave it at 5,000 and knock 3,000 off of that? [2:31:02] » I want to know why they spent that. >> Let me know. [2:31:07] of the 390 training. >> Well, so 390 is it has to do with [2:31:12] » Oh, yeah. Contract payments service boarding prisoners probably is [2:31:19] is I would guess >> it's so weird that that has to because [2:31:24] Logan's budget pays for that. I thought >> No, we wrote checks for it. I know, but [2:31:30] [snorts] I thought it came out of Logan's budget [2:31:35] cuz >> I don't think so. [2:31:38] » Oh, you're right. That's Yeah. [2:31:48] » So, that is all dis they're paid. No, that's not the whole [2:31:54] price, but the lodging and meals for the MLEA [2:31:58] or the two. >> Um, no, not the prisoners. The deputies [2:32:04] and the under sheriff had to go. >> So that's what that is. That's one of [2:32:08] them is 1900 and one's 1800. >> That's their training. [2:32:12] » Mhm. >> Oh, well, we don't have to do that [2:32:14] anymore. >> Mm-m. So yeah, that's [2:32:18] 1944 and 1824. I wonder if they're planning other [2:32:24] trainings and putting it in there though. Would other trainings go in [2:32:28] there? >> Yeah. Well, he's got MLEA and M [2:32:32] » Well, training. >> Yeah. What did he just give us a Oh, [2:32:35] that's what that claim was for. For just I bet [2:32:39] for the 1824. Isn't that what that claim was for that? [2:32:43] » Is that ML? >> That was MLBA. [2:32:45] » Mont Law Enforcement Academy. I suppose we don't have nothing then [2:32:51] this year. >> But sometimes they have special [2:32:54] trainings that are like >> rape or domestic violence or gun [2:33:00] handling at night. >> Wonder if you have to go to that rape [2:33:03] train be scary. >> So he has [2:33:09] L E O Basic number 190 L E and [2:33:14] » that's $2,340. [2:33:19] I don't know what that was for. Maybe this was for Mason. This last one was [2:33:23] 2340. >> I think it was. [2:33:26] » So, I don't know what those other two Maybe they [2:33:30] It is Lie OB. Okay. Must have been two different I don't [2:33:36] know what she did there. So, yeah. So, there's going to be at [2:33:40] least the 2340 out of there. >> All right. this one. [2:33:46] » Well, they did want to do more trainings, and trains might be a good [2:33:50] thing. Maybe they'll take one on driving into your main street. [2:33:53] » So, we need $8,000 for it. >> I don't think we need that in there. [2:33:58] » I think five is plenty. >> What do you think? [2:34:02] » Yeah. >> So, [2:34:05] are we going to leave that? We cannot. >> We subtract 3,000 off of it. [2:34:08] » Okay. So 5us. [2:34:14] Okay. Then we got - 3 11 12 15. >> How about page two? [2:34:25] » What? >> How about page two and three? [2:34:33] » I went to grab my mouse and grab the stapler. That was kind of a surprise. [2:34:37] » So the nine. [2:34:41] Okay, let's go back here. [2:34:46] » I don't know what he wants to rent. [2:34:51] Don't know what they rent. >> Is that what 530 is rent? [2:34:54] » Yeah. >> So, [2:34:57] » those are not a large amount. >> We we've cut quite a bit off their [2:35:01] budget. >> So, the 940 where he has $10,000 [2:35:05] technically is no longer a 940. It's a 211. [2:35:09] » Okay. because we upped it to 15,000. Remember the 940. [2:35:14] » But I mean, it's still there. It's whatever. But yeah, I'll move it when I [2:35:17] put it in the computer. >> So, what do we need to do with that [2:35:19] number then? >> Well, you can just leave it. He needs [2:35:21] another radio in 150. So, why does one radio come out of the 940 and the other [2:35:27] one come out of the other one? >> Cuz they got all them budgets to come [2:35:31] out. >> I know, but I mean, that was kind of I [2:35:32] just thought of that. I'm like, well, that's kind of crazy. [2:35:35] » Well, we can take that down. [2:35:39] if it all comes out. >> No, but I mean why put it in two [2:35:41] different places? >> That's what I mean. [2:35:43] » Maybe he wanted to soften the blow >> cuz both of these should be [2:35:49] » authorized. 20,000 should be in this one. [2:35:53] » We authorized the radio for >> Okay. But you've come out of the 211. [2:35:58] » Yeah, it should actually. But I mean it's still there. I'll I'll move it when [2:36:02] we put it in. >> So that's just a simple move there. [2:36:04] » Yeah. >> Okay. [2:36:05] » Yeah, I'll move it to 211. So 211 will now be $1,100. [2:36:10] » I think >> $11,000 I mean cuz you left a,000 in [2:36:13] there >> from the radio. [2:36:17] So in reality that's what that would be. Okay. And then nothing nothing [2:36:24] » communications [2:36:27] 340. That's a utility [2:36:33] and they spent 325 out of the 500. That's [2:36:38] » Yeah. >> Okay. [2:36:42] Okay. So, where are we at? [2:36:48] » What the hell was What was the total >> that we took out? [2:36:53] » Yeah. >> I [snorts] don't know. Am I forgotting [2:36:54] it up >> here? I'll add it up. [2:36:56] » I have 23,000 >> plus the 82 618 [2:37:02] » 22,000. 23. >> 23. And how many pennies? [2:37:07] » We don't do pennies. >> What the hell? They have them in the 17 [2:37:13] 618. Well, yeah. >> Oh, shoot. [2:37:17] » She's justund. [2:37:22] » Did you come up with a number? Are you waiting on me? [2:37:24] » I got 105618. Okay, [2:37:33] » cool. [2:37:36] » Yeah, >> that'll be a journey. [2:37:38] » No, I meant total. I think cat town is keeping it running total. [2:37:42] » Oh, with the fair, the senior, and the library. 232. [2:37:45] » Oh, we're getting closer. >> Yeah, [2:37:47] » we're about 100 grand away. We're running out of room. [laughter] [2:37:55] Oh god. Okay. County attorney. Well, we can take 20 right out of that one. [2:38:02] » 20. >> Just cuz. [2:38:05] » Yeah, he threw 20 under the legal services 350. So, [2:38:11] » we've never spent anything out of that. But I don't know. I'm sure he keeps it [2:38:16] in there because in case he needs help, but we've never even through the whole [2:38:20] case we just got done with, we never spent anything. [2:38:22] » We've had major cases since he's been here. Major. [2:38:25] » Yeah. We've never spent. >> Yeah. [2:38:28] » What [snorts] about that 110? Is that [2:38:34] » Are those your numbers, Christie? >> Yeah, those that's payroll. [2:38:39] » Yep. 110 to 145 or 145. >> So, starting at 210. [2:38:44] » Yeah. [2:38:49] » He spent $82 out of that 600. [2:38:58] That's crazy, isn't it? [clears throat] [2:39:02] » So, what do you want to do there? >> Drop it to like 250. That's still being [2:39:07] generous. >> So, okay. So, take 350 away. [2:39:12] » And then 211. You didn't spend anything out of 500. [2:39:17] That's just in case of printer going out or whatever. [2:39:21] » Yeah, >> I get that. So, I think maybe I should [2:39:23] leave that at 500. >> Okay. Just what you said in case a [2:39:27] printer goes out. Well, what are they going to buy? $500 printer. [2:39:30] » You know what? You can buy a printer. I buy them all the time at home for 3400. [2:39:36] » Not You're not legal though. >> Probably for what he's using it. What [2:39:39] did he pay for that one? I can't remember. [2:39:40] » I think it was Wasn't it like three? >> Yeah. It wasn't that expensive. [2:39:44] » Really? >> Yeah. It's when you get into these color [2:39:47] printers that they like just cuz it's pretty, you know, and once in a while [2:39:52] you need a color printer for reports, but [snorts] not every printer should be [2:39:56] a color printer. >> Okay. No, they're cheap then. Okay. [2:40:00] » All right. So then >> my ink costs more than [2:40:03] » really depends on what you buy. [2:40:08] » But I don't >> I haven't bought a printer. [2:40:10] » I got a brand new print ink. >> The ink is what's expensive. [2:40:14] » Yeah. Yeah, they get [snorts] you on the >> We've been We got away from getting it [2:40:18] from Wills. Like we used to order all of our toner and stuff, but now we're going [2:40:23] » generic Amazon because it's ridiculous. >> I did buy a couple of generic uh toners. [2:40:30] They wouldn't work. >> So this one here, no this one here. I [2:40:34] bought the generic ones for that old brother and they worked fine. [2:40:38] » Really? >> So yeah, just [2:40:40] » I think it's Hula Packard. I think they've got a chip on there so they [2:40:44] know. >> Probably [2:40:46] 211 we leave. >> Yeah. [2:40:48] » Yeah. >> Um the next one's 310. [2:40:50] » So that's postage. >> Yeah. He spent 6559. [2:40:55] » I mean that's a pretty small number but you never know I guess either. [2:40:59] » Yeah. If he gets a case then he has to send them out. [2:41:01] » But the next one 320 there again that's printing binding and [2:41:07] duplication. >> Right. And there won't be any purchase [2:41:09] of any law books or anything this go around. So [2:41:12] » you want to knock that down to 250? >> Yes. [2:41:16] » That sound all right. >> Yes. Because [2:41:18] » So that's >> 320 250. [2:41:20] » Yeah. 750 savings. [2:41:26] [snorts] Everybody needs a check. [2:41:28] » And it looks like he's >> adjusted already on 330. [2:41:34] » A good number. >> As well as probably the [2:41:39] 340, huh? >> Yep. Utilities already. [2:41:44] » Actually, he needs more money. >> He spent $2,870 [2:41:50] under the 340. Okay. >> So, he didn't budget enough. So, we [2:41:56] might need to knock that up actually to three grand. [2:41:59] » Three. >> Yeah. [2:42:00] » Is that okay? [2:42:03] » So, now we're adding 500. [laughter] [2:42:09] » But on 330, he went over budget as well. [2:42:14] » Oh, I didn't even look at that. >> He was He must be looking down. Yeah, [2:42:18] cuz he did have law books and stuff last year [2:42:20] » plus publishing paper in the paper. That 20,000. [2:42:26] What do you do? >> That's gone. [2:42:29] » You don't want any of it? >> No, she took that out. [2:42:33] » No, I didn't. Not yet. >> Oh, I thought we were going to. [2:42:36] » I just said there's 20,000 that could maybe come out of there, but [2:42:39] » Oh, I I just thought you did. >> No. No. God, no. I don't I don't touch [2:42:44] when I'm comes to this stuff. That's on you guys. [2:42:50] » [snorts] >> What do you think, Gary? [2:42:53] » Well, I like leaving it at lemonating at 20,000. I appreciate that. [2:43:00] » Realistically, though, [2:43:05] » I don't know if he has anything coming up or not. Um, [2:43:09] » that's the trouble. You never know. Yeah, but chances are [2:43:16] if something were to happen tomorrow, nothing would be spent till the next [2:43:20] fiscal year. >> The rate it goes. [2:43:23] » The other thing is is if we really had to have it, it would probably be more [2:43:26] than that anyways, >> you know, and and yeah, we'll have to [2:43:31] find it anyways. >> Well, we can take it out for now. [2:43:36] » Yeah, I don't. >> The whole amount [2:43:39] unless you want to leave some in there just in case. I mean, cuz look at that. [2:43:45] Our audit bill was like 90. [2:43:49] » What was it? 504 for >> for the audit. $53,000. [2:43:53] » Yeah. So, if he needed something like that for the case, it would be more than [2:43:57] this $20,000. >> Yeah. We' just be looking for bigger [2:44:02] bucks. >> Well, I'd rather probably at this point, [2:44:04] since we're in the position we are, find it if we need to versus just store it. [2:44:10] to more than likely make would help with that anyways, right? So, I I think we I [2:44:16] think that's a cushion I don't know that we need. [2:44:19] » Well, let's just take it away for now. >> We'll see what we got. [2:44:23] » Maybe we don't know something, though. [2:44:28] » I recommend you do better. >> Operating loan. [2:44:33] » Yeah. >> 360. They never spent any [2:44:38] » but they might have to. Well, 500 is not that much. [2:44:41] » 370. >> He's lowered it to,500. [2:44:46] » Yeah, he only spent $105 out of it. >> Well, let's leave that [2:44:51] » to$,500. >> Okay. 390. [2:44:55] He spent $436 out of it. So, [2:44:59] » he's back up to 300 is what he's got set there. [2:45:03] » Maybe. I wonder what >> But he actually spent the 435, [2:45:07] » but maybe he That's purchase services. I'm not sure [2:45:12] what he spent out of there, but >> Okay. [2:45:15] » Boarding prisoners. Does that come out of there? [2:45:19] » No. Okay. >> They have their own. We're going to be [2:45:21] getting to their space. >> Okay. So, what are we doing with that [2:45:24] one? Leaving it at three. >> Well, he has 300. Let's leave it, I [2:45:27] guess. >> Yeah. Not much. [2:45:29] » The rest on that page is zeros. >> Okay. So, 350 and 750 is,00. [2:45:37] And then we got to add five. So that knocks it back down to 600. So total [2:45:43] » 20,600. >> Yeah. [2:45:56] » Justice court. >> Jared usually keeps it right to the he's [2:46:02] really thrifty. And in June he'll go spend it all. 370 [2:46:08] » sometimes, not always. Um, >> is he planning on traveling? [2:46:13] » Yeah, he's got meetings. >> He has to go to school every year. [2:46:16] » Twice a year. >> We pay for one and the city usually pays [2:46:20] for the other. >> I don't see much we can do on this one. [2:46:26] » Well, on that 500, he only spent [2:46:32] not even 200 bucks. [2:46:39] I don't know. [2:46:42] » I mean, >> you can take it down to 250 if you want [2:46:44] to. >> It's not egregious. I guess it's not. [2:46:48] » Where are we going? >> I don't know. [sighs] [2:46:51] » Leave Jared. >> Yeah. On 210. You want to do just take [2:46:55] that 500 down to 250 for now? >> I think it's the only thing we're going [2:46:59] to be able to cut on here. >> What about that 370 [2:47:03] » travel? No. That's where he goes. He actually goes Why? [2:47:08] » There's two 370s. So, >> yeah, but that's the jury. See, now [2:47:11] we're back to the jury again. So, we got to decide what we're going to do there. [2:47:15] » If we're going to have a JP jury or not. >> I see. [2:47:20] » So, did we do anything yet? 210 to 250 >> on 210. We just cut that in half. Okay. [2:47:26] » That's about all I see we can probably do here. [2:47:29] » You know, on that jury services, that was the one Was [2:47:35] it that one? No, that was Ben's. >> I would highly doubt we would ever have [2:47:39] a jury in that >> court. Yeah. Do you want to Can we cut [2:47:44] that to 500? Maybe [2:47:48] » the 370. >> Yeah. [2:47:53] From a th00and. >> Oh, that 370. Not the other one. [2:47:57] » Yeah. [2:48:00] » Cut it in half. >> Yeah. [2:48:07] So, total of 750. >> Yep. [2:48:15] » Okay, now the fun stuff comes [snorts] pretty soon. [2:48:22] » Yeah, that is ridicul. Look at that. >> I know. I know. Clint has to go to [2:48:28] school this year. Sean mentioned that asked him one day. [2:48:31] » Now, [clears throat] which one's going to school? We got [2:48:36] three corners, don't we? >> Yeah, but I know Clint has to go in [2:48:39] December. >> He's got to go. [2:48:40] » I know he has to. >> The other ones don't have to. [2:48:42] » I don't know that. >> Oh, [2:48:44] » I just know Shauna was talking one day and she said Clint had to go to corner [2:48:48] school. >> Well, none of these changed except the [2:48:51] bottom one >> and none were spent. Well, look at 350. [2:48:59] » They spent a total of $5,000 last year between wages and trip. [2:49:06] » That's all they spent. They didn't buy anything else in down the road. [2:49:17] » I think we could do some cutting here. >> Okay. [2:49:20] » Just start down to 110 or 210. >> Yeah. [2:49:25] Do you want to just turn everything in half? [2:49:28] » I was going to say but in half it looks like. [2:49:30] » Yeah, except for 350. What do you want to What do you want to do on that one? [2:49:34] » That's when we pay to have autopsies done. [2:49:36] » Oh, [2:49:40] and if there is an unintended death, it has to have a autopsy. [2:49:44] But >> evidently none last year, huh? [2:49:49] Maybe. Maybe you haven't got the bill. [2:49:58] So, you leaving 350 at 5,000? >> I haven't gotten here yet. [2:50:04] » I'm busy doing all the other ones. >> Yeah, I was going to say [2:50:07] » 400. >> I don't think we need to have 350 at [2:50:09] 5,000. >> Cut it in half. [2:50:13] » Yeah. >> 250US [2:50:18] 250. [2:50:21] » Everything else we cut in half, he said. That's what I'm doing anyway. [2:50:24] » Must be $370. [2:50:28] Spent $1,000, right? At [2:50:33] » Do you want to go? >> Oh, I think that was for them driving [2:50:35] the bodies down to Billings and whatever for the autopsy that apparently we [2:50:39] didn't pay for. >> Okay. [2:50:41] » I don't know. >> What do you want to put that one to [2:50:44] [snorts] the 370, Mike? [2:50:48] » Uh, where were we going? So 370. Yeah, they spent [2:50:54] » maybe 1,500. Well, they spent Yeah, let's let's go to 1,500 on that one. [2:51:00] » Okay, >> I think. Huh? [2:51:01] » Yep. >> So, that's a,000. [2:51:05] » Now, I got to erase. Sorry. >> 380. Do you want to make that the nice [2:51:10] odd number for Gary? >> You just make it wherever you think it [2:51:16] needs it. >> 375 would be half. [2:51:18] » Yeah. [2:51:23] And the next one they were short on. So I can leave that at 350. Okay. [2:51:29] » They actually spent 360 on that one. >> I'm not sure which what that is. [2:51:34] [snorts] >> 390. I don't know what that is. [2:51:39] » So we're going to leave that one, right? [2:51:47] 50 [2:52:02] savings is 7425. Is that what you got? [2:52:06] » Oh, I haven't yet. [2:52:16] Okay. So, we have to subtract 74. [2:52:25] Okay. [2:52:34] 7525. Yep. [2:52:38] » Okay. Data processing. >> Is this you? Yeah. [2:52:46] » Well, it's not me. It's our It's our software for everything that we do. [2:52:51] » Oh, 211. Look at that. Baby, >> they want us to get two new computers. [2:52:59] Um, the one that Ray used and the one that's sitting over there unused. [2:53:05] So, the one that Tiar is using actually. Um, [2:53:08] » are you talking about the part-time position? [2:53:13] So, in reality, I think they told me it'd be 2500 a [2:53:17] computer. >> Okay, chop that down. [2:53:20] » Cut that in half. If we're not going to have no part time, we don't need a [2:53:24] computer. >> Not right now. [2:53:27] » Okay. Um, [2:53:31] I don't even know what I did for the 220. So, jumping down to 340 is of [2:53:37] course our utilities for >> Yeah, that looks all stuff. Okay, so [2:53:41] here's the big one. Under 360, [2:53:47] if we go to the cloud, it's going to be the additional 27,870. [2:53:55] » So it' be that 6711. >> Did you say 800 or something? [2:53:59] » It would be less the 27870 if we don't go to the cloud this year. [2:54:06] If we transfer all of our software to the cloud, then it's going to be the 67. [2:54:12] Um, >> look at that number. [2:54:15] » 23,000 for the new server. Oh, here. 27. I think it's 87. [2:54:21] » I see. Okay. Well, that's why I had >> No, it doesn't come through. And I don't [2:54:24] have the original here. So, >> Christy, I'm sorry, but I'd like to see [2:54:27] that happen. If we can, I'd like to see that happen. [2:54:31] » Um, >> go to the [2:54:33] » I'm okay if we don't. this year because >> I don't know what's going to happen, [2:54:39] » you know, kind of a thing. Um, but >> hold off one year, right? [2:54:43] » Yeah. We have to be done by 2030. >> By 2030. Okay. [2:54:47] » We aren't getting updated though at this point in time. They aren't updating our [2:54:52] programs except for what's required by law because we're not on the cloud. [2:54:58] » Are you thinking in January it' be okay or are you waiting for it to be cleaned [2:55:01] up? >> I don't know. [2:55:04] Well, let's just back off. >> We did actually get a lot done the other [2:55:07] day. >> Okay. [2:55:08] » Should we back off of that for this year? [2:55:10] » We >> like I said, the only thing is we're not [2:55:13] getting updated, but I don't know if it's that big of a deal or not that [2:55:18] we're not getting updated. I guess I'm not 100% sure. [2:55:22] » Can we just leave this until >> we get to a point where we know we have [2:55:27] to? >> So then the 940 there. So there's [2:55:31] options. So, we do need a new server. If we go to the cloud, we don't need a new [2:55:37] server. >> So, there's that. That'll kind of [2:55:40] counteract it. >> If we stay off the cloud, we need a new [2:55:44] server. >> So, [2:55:47] let's say for right now, we say minus 2500 and come back to this one. This one [2:55:54] might be a little >> Yeah. Okay. But either way you go, [2:56:00] there's the there should be some savings there. [2:56:03] » Whichever way you go of around 25,000. Yeah, give or take. [2:56:08] » Yeah. >> Yeah. [2:56:10] » So, you want to leave this one for now? >> Yeah. There's just 2500 off of that 211. [2:56:17] » Okay. >> I kind of hate to fork out the money for [2:56:23] a new server for just a year. >> Yeah. Oh, I get it. Totally. [2:56:27] » So, in reality, it would be easier to just go to the cloud, get rid of that [2:56:32] 23,000 for the server. >> Mhm. [2:56:35] » And go from there. But anyway, we will [2:56:39] circle back to that. >> Okay. [2:56:42] » So, this one is our janitor's budget and anything that we do to the courthouse. [2:56:47] » Mhm. [2:56:51] » Um, >> well, there's a general courthouse [2:56:52] equipment. Well, that's like when we buy copy or for ours or actually we could do [2:56:58] it for Julie, too, if she needed to, but >> usually we don't have a whole lot in [2:57:03] this one because we did move some stuff. [snorts] Um, [2:57:09] » looks like you've already cut down on some things anyway. [2:57:12] » I try. >> The only thing is it's 350. [2:57:15] » 350. [2:57:18] What is that for? >> Services. Was [2:57:24] that the um It was >> I mean we were way down on that. So [2:57:28] » was it because we had to pay part of the building um survey the [2:57:39] » Oh, the engineering stuff. Yeah. Yep. That's what that would probably be. [2:57:44] Yeah. >> So that should come back down. [2:57:47] » Mhm. >> Um the 360 I'm trying to remember. [2:57:53] I think I think I just kept that in there in case we were going to do [2:57:56] repairs to the courthouse or anything. So, that's basically what this budget [2:58:00] is. >> Yeah. So, this most of this is for like [2:58:05] courthouse repairs, you know, um like you said, the engineering, the that kind [2:58:10] of stuff. So, I don't >> Well, and we've already kind of started [2:58:13] in on that. So, maybe we should leave that alone. [2:58:15] » Mhm. >> We can put that under a revisit. You [2:58:20] know, where are we sitting at? >> Uh 262,000 [2:58:26] 728. >> Oh, okay. [sighs] [2:58:29] » So, about 90,000 left. >> Oh my god. We'll never get it. Okay. So, [2:58:34] courthouse equipment. >> Well, there is [2:58:38] » there is this much more. There's another 23 out of the other one. However you do [2:58:43] it, >> right? That's true. So you're a little [2:58:48] » venue. [2:58:51] So >> courthouse equipment. Is that where we [2:58:53] are? >> Yeah. Um [2:58:56] » maintenance >> paper for the copier. [2:58:59] Not a whole lot. Um what do on earth do I have? The 211. What are we buying? [2:59:05] » That's jacked up some. >> Yeah. [2:59:08] » I have no idea what that is. Well, >> we never touched the maintenance [2:59:12] building then. Huh. It's on hold. [2:59:16] » We It's on >> 211. 211. What would that have been? [2:59:23] » Jessica, did we already spend it this year is why I had to put it there. [2:59:29] Um, I don't know what that is. Tell you the [2:59:33] honest to God truth. I wonder if Jess remembers. Let me ask. Kind of sucks [2:59:37] that she's not here right now. Um, [2:59:44] what's 220? >> It's offering supplies. [2:59:51] » Didn't spend any on that. >> Uh-uh. No, not normally. [2:59:55] » Can we drop that a little bit? [3:00:02] » You want to drop that 220 down to 750 bucks? Oops. Yeah. Okay. [3:00:12] » Cut that in half. >> Yeah. [3:00:15] » And then we'll find out what the >> I'll see if she remembers why we did [3:00:18] that. >> Okay. [3:00:20] » And then 360 >> cuz her and I usually talk when we get [3:00:23] to this part of the budget. So >> 360. Um [3:00:29] » Okay. Move to 211. Oh, that's why. Okay. Never mind. Never mind. [3:00:38] Okay. So, under the 940 we obviously normally and we moved it to the 211 [3:00:44] because it's not over the 15 as if we would have just read. I would have seen [3:00:48] why I moved it. >> So, that 9100 what are you raing for [3:00:53] something? >> I think we were just putting stuff in [3:00:57] there in case we needed to. Yeah. So, um we could probably knock this down that [3:01:04] 9100. >> Okay. completely. [3:01:07] » Well, the 15 I don't know. I think maybe we need to keep something in there in [3:01:10] case one of our printers blow up or a copier blows up. [3:01:15] » Can we just change that to 5,000? >> Yeah. [3:01:18] » Okay. >> Yeah. [3:01:21] » You mean take $10,000 away? >> 11? No. What are we doing? 10 100. [3:01:28] » So, yeah, they that 211 budget was originally at 6,000. [3:01:33] » Yeah. It's going to be what now? >> 5,000. And then that [3:01:37] » and then there's nothing at the 40. I'd already zeroed that out. So yeah. [3:01:42] » So we're going to save $10,100, right? [3:01:46] » Uh plus 750. >> I was going to say there's a 750 there [3:01:49] someplace. >> Oh god. [3:01:50] » So is that on the other page? >> No, it's on the same page. 220. [3:01:55] » We just cut that 220. >> So you're 220. Gotcha. 750. [3:02:00] » Oh yeah. >> Minus 750. Okay. I got way laid looking [3:02:03] for something. Not probably. >> Where did $100 come from? [3:02:07] » Probably not $7. >> Well, so it's just that 940 account is [3:02:11] budgeted at >> 90 100. I moved it up because that's no [3:02:16] longer You have to be over 15. 15 and over now down there. [3:02:21] » Okay. >> So, we're at [3:02:23] » So, I should have moved it all down to the [3:02:25] » 10,850 for our cut. Is that right? [3:02:32] 0 5 18 What did you say? I'm all screwed up. [3:02:39] 751. >> Yeah, it should be 10,856. [3:02:42] » Yeah, I got a zero in the wrong spot. Okay, [3:02:45] » so it's 273578. [3:02:50] [snorts] >> Election budget is next. [3:02:53] » And that is as bare bones as I could get. Um, [3:02:59] » yeah. What else? >> The 10,628 [3:03:03] if we use it is actually offset with the revenue. It's a grant and I already and [3:03:08] we can get the grant, but I I just said she looked through it all and she wasn't [3:03:13] sure if there was anything that would actually apply to us. So, that may come [3:03:17] back out. So, but it's actually offset. >> Okay. [3:03:22] So, we'll leave leave that alone then budget. [3:03:30] No, there's not. Okay. Civil defense that is based on his [3:03:36] ground that he gets. >> Who's he? Oh, [3:03:38] » Wyatt. >> Wyatt. Plus what we have to. [3:03:42] So, I don't know. I don't know. His 211. He told me once he didn't need it. He [3:03:50] didn't think he needed a new computer cuz he's using his own. [3:03:54] [snorts] But should he be using his own? >> Right. [3:03:59] Yeah. And 370. I think Mary um would put travel in there cuz they had meetings [3:04:06] that they would go to, but I don't know if they still have to travel. [3:04:09] » Maybe cut that one in half. Huh. This the 370 [3:04:13] » maybe. Yeah. >> For now. [3:04:15] » So, this money is county money though. [3:04:20] » Well, part of it operation was a grant. See, they give us x amount of money and [3:04:24] then we have to do x amount of money. >> Oh, okay. [3:04:29] » But it's offset with a revenue to a point. Yes. [3:04:33] » I think the rest of it looks pretty decent. [3:04:35] » So, minus 1,000. >> Yeah. [3:04:40] Okay. >> Public health. [3:04:45] » And that is at the bear bone. That's where I was asking her about her her [3:04:50] » I mean the the salaries, but I said, "Do you really need the 240 hours?" So, [3:04:55] » okay. >> But the rest of it down here, I guess [3:04:57] I'm not real sure where that Mary did it and I'm not real sure what she's [3:05:00] looking. >> Well, she's already cut a lot. [3:05:02] » Yeah. >> So, [3:05:04] » well, the travel is >> So, yeah. 340. [3:05:08] » 370 out of there is about her only one that she's got that she [3:05:13] » 360 and 370. Yeah, she left the 370. So, I don't know [3:05:20] what they go to for travel. I don't know what conventions or anything they go to. [3:05:26] See, last year this budget was pretty much like there was no member [3:05:31] um they had said not to take any salaries out of here cuz they didn't [3:05:34] need it. And then we forgot Mary got paid out of it. [laughter] [3:05:38] » So, that was kind of in the hole there a few places because of that. But, [3:05:42] » okay. >> So, I don't know if you want to just [3:05:44] leave that one. I think we'll just leave that one alone, guys. [3:05:47] » Yeah, she's done. >> She did a pretty good job of [3:05:50] » Yeah. doing it for us >> managing that one. [3:05:52] » Vital records. >> Okay, that's just [3:05:57] » vital records is fine. >> Oh, here we go. [3:06:03] » Sanitarian. Can't do anything with >> cuz the amount we put there is what we [3:06:08] pay for him. [3:06:13] Oh, I don't know why I have a sticky note on. What did I cover up? Oh, pair [3:06:17] of Oh my god, Jess, I covered that up. Oh, [3:06:22] let's go see what that's supposed to actually be. [3:06:25] » Where we at? >> She's still [3:06:28] » Oh, yeah. [3:06:36] » Yeah, cuz under professional services, they didn't actually use all of their [3:06:39] money and then they asked for more. So, where are we at here? Burial soldiers. [3:06:46] Let me see. [3:06:51] » Oops. >> And then we up by three grand. [3:06:53] » Yeah, I totally covered up the Care of the Insane one. [3:06:58] So, 229 is Care of the Insane. Um, [3:07:06] I think that's pretty bare bones except for the three the travel. We didn't [3:07:09] really use that, but I don't think >> for the insanes. [3:07:16] » Yeah, the 229. >> So, I don't know. [3:07:22] Probably. [3:07:25] » Yeah, I might go crazy. You never know. [3:07:32] » Yeah. >> Figure out how to expense it before you [3:07:34] go completely over, >> right? Yeah. I'll I'll check it out. [3:07:37] I'll leave a note. Um, burial indigence, [3:07:44] we just use always leave it at 2500. Yep. [3:07:47] » In case we get a bunch of juvenile. Now, we hardly ever use that. [3:07:54] I don't know. >> Well, I'll tell you, [3:07:57] » if we get have a juvenile go crazy and then we have to incarcerate them and [3:08:01] » but the um district courts are hands off of juvenile. They don't take those [3:08:08] cases. Jared doesn't take those cases. We send them over to Plentywood. So, I [3:08:12] don't know that why we would have to. >> Oh, [3:08:16] » yeah. >> Well, who takes care of them over in Pl. [3:08:19] » There's a juvenile delinquent. Um, >> there's one in Point, too. [3:08:23] » Used to be one in Glas. >> I don't know about the Glasco one. [3:08:27] » No, he wasn't juvenile. He was just the adult one. [3:08:31] » Yeah. Little probation. >> Yeah. [3:08:33] » Yeah. This >> Barstead or whatever his name was. Yeah. [3:08:36] put something in travel then. >> So I wonder what the 4165 [3:08:40] » to know that myself. >> Well, I'm going to go look. [3:08:57] » Who fills that one up? >> I don't budget. [3:09:01] » I bet that's a I bet that's a Jess thing. You know, it's just one of those [3:09:04] things. That's the way it's always been. And [3:09:08] » I think we could probably just get rid of that completely. [3:09:12] » Well, we'd need travel though, wouldn't we? If we're going to call them to find [3:09:15] » No, no, no, no. You just call them and they have to pay Rose Bud County [3:09:19] Juvenile. It's a thing. Probation. >> So, we can drop it down to [3:09:25] » 100 bucks. >> Yeah, I like that. [3:09:28] » Well, that's $4,900 savings. [3:09:34] Okay. So that's student application. [3:09:42] » Okay. [3:09:46] » Took care of prisoners. >> Yeah. [3:09:49] » And that one I would love to know what we spent that one year on that guy [3:09:53] was ridiculously. >> Well, well, you could pretty much figure [3:09:56] out. It was about 75 bucks a day then. >> He was there forever. So, [3:10:02] » so [snorts] yeah, >> that was $24,000. [3:10:06] » So, even then, >> 390 though, [3:10:08] » right? Even then, we don't need $32,000 cuz even cuz it's now it's 80 bucks. So, [3:10:14] let's just change that. So, even if they're in there 320 days, it's still [3:10:19] $25,000. We don't need that much money. >> Let's Can we knock it down to 20 grand? [3:10:26] » Yeah, let's do that. Okay. Knock it down 220. [3:10:32] » Yeah. >> Yeah. So, take 12,000 off. [3:10:34] » And then what's the 220 account on that? >> So, that's your operating supplies. Um, [3:10:41] I don't know. Weapons, you know, that kind of stuff. I don't know. [3:10:45] » I think we ought to drop that down. >> Unless we want to shoot something. I [3:10:50] don't know. >> You want to knock it down to [3:10:53] » Why are you take $1,000 off of it? >> I would like to take down to $500. Okay, [3:10:59] take $1,410 off then. >> So, isn't that a weird amount? [3:11:03] » It is. >> I don't know why we ended up with the [3:11:05] 1910 at one time. We must have used >> as far as 310, 350, and 370. [3:11:14] » Okay. So, 310 is for transportation of prisoners. [3:11:17] » Okay. >> So, no, the 370 doesn't even matter cuz [3:11:23] 310, it's a weird thing. Even if you drive someone over to Deer Lodge, it's [3:11:27] not a 370, it's a 310. >> Okay. So, we can get rid of 370 then. [3:11:33] » Correct. >> Yeah. [3:11:35] » Yep. >> So, what is [3:11:37] » And then we got 350 there. We'll leave 310 alone then. [3:11:41] » Yeah. >> Okay. But what is 350? [3:11:44] » That's uh professional service. So, if they're in jail and they have to go to [3:11:48] the dentist or the doctor. Oh, >> that's what that is. [3:11:53] » We better leave that one. cuz they like to try to get that in [3:11:57] there. >> Yeah, they do. [3:11:57] » Okay. Well, >> so we saved [3:12:00] » 3900 or no >> $13,910. [3:12:06] » All right. [3:12:11] » Now, that gets us over. >> How much did Okay. Oh my god. [3:12:16] » We're at 2928.888. >> So, this was how much? [3:12:21] » 13910. Oh, 134. >> Huh? [3:12:26] » Okay. >> 13410. [3:12:27] » No, we had $500 savings off of 370. >> Yeah, we took 500 off of [3:12:35] » Nice. >> Okay. [3:12:39] » Okay. >> County Superintendent is next. [3:12:42] » Okay. So, I already reduced [3:12:47] 7,000. Where'd she go? [3:12:51] Put it on. >> It's on the back page. Flip it over. [3:12:56] I think 7400 or something. >> No, it's on second. [3:12:59] » She reduced it. >> It's for the [3:13:03] » But it's her time off. Oh. Um, God, I thought I wrote that down. [3:13:07] Superintendent. I have a paper that has it on there. Oh, [3:13:10] here. Sorry. So, that was $7,4 or Yeah, $7,413 [3:13:17] in the salary sections coming off. How much? [3:13:21] » 7,4 [3:13:24] 13. >> Okay. [3:13:35] » Got salaries. >> I see on 211 that they haven't used any [3:13:39] of that money there. >> Yeah. [3:13:44] » I mean, that's a,000 bucks. >> 211 [3:13:51] I don't know if she needs the one time they bought a laptop out of [3:13:54] » there and they're not going to get another one. So, okay. [3:13:57] » I say we drop that down to >> 250. Okay. [3:14:01] » It's either 500 or nothing. >> All right. Nothing. It is. [3:14:05] » You want to zero that one out then for now? [3:14:07] » Yep. >> Okay. So, [3:14:15] » looks like the rest of her stuff is >> Yeah. Pretty good. [3:14:19] » Pretty spot on. I mean, >> yeah. [3:14:23] What's the 27500 bucks? >> It's her travel. [3:14:29] » I don't think we need 2,000 in there. She only goes to one. [3:14:32] » Well, she spent almost 2,000. >> Oh, she's at 1,500. [3:14:38] » I mean, she goes to one more thing. >> All right. 2,000 is. So, we we cut 8413 [3:14:46] on that one. Yep. [3:14:54] We crossed the 300 mark, Christy. >> Oh, well then if we ditch [3:15:01] one of my Cuz what did we need? Where's my [3:15:05] » 330? >> Yeah. So, the server, if we take that [3:15:08] one out, it's going to be 7,000. Leave us with [3:15:11] » 24,000 bucks. Yeah. >> Yeah. [3:15:13] » Well, let's keep going. >> Okay. [3:15:15] » Bet you didn't. >> Can't do anything there. Can't do [3:15:17] anything there. >> I don't think economic development we [3:15:19] can do much or public administrators. >> That's very city assessments. We can't [3:15:25] » Bur of soldiers budget >> add to it in case I go [3:15:32] » well that we might be able to. >> We got a cardboard box in that. [3:15:35] » I don't know if we need [clears throat] to mess with that honestly. [3:15:38] » That's just for all the headstones getting replaced and all the markers. [3:15:41] The rest of them I think we can't do anything. [3:15:46] » Okay. >> We got to go through them, [3:15:49] » right? >> Alcohol and drug abuse. [3:15:51] » That's a mandated amount that we do. So, >> okay. Compensated absences [3:15:58] » and those are >> those are pretty much fixed too. [3:16:00] » So, >> those will go down a little bit when [3:16:02] those salary when those >> well they won't because this is their [3:16:06] vacation and sick leave that they paid out. Your acral will go down for the [3:16:10] halftime positions. >> No, no. This is what they've already [3:16:14] » Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Gotcha. >> Yeah. [3:16:18] » Yep. So, what do we need now? How much do we need? [3:16:20] » We're at 301 801. >> So, [3:16:24] » about 29 grand roughly. >> And we're not And so, county buildings [3:16:28] and data were the two that we were going to re revisit. Um, [3:16:34] » yep. [3:16:41] Katie, you're so funny. So, I wonder if I can get a hold of [3:16:48] my first call. >> So, I guess I think it's one or the [3:16:52] other. If we don't update, we need the server. [3:16:57] If we update, we don't need the server. I'm pretty sure that's how it is, [3:17:01] » right? And that makes sense, >> right? cuz this one goes to the if this [3:17:07] goes to the cloud then that won't be needed because we [3:17:11] will I'm almost 100% sure that's what it is. [3:17:15] » Okay. >> They never I don't think they ever got [3:17:17] back to me the cost of and then the other one that we need if we go to the [3:17:22] cloud we're still going to need the server but that's going to come out of [3:17:26] reference preservation. So that doesn't come out of this cuz it'll be used for [3:17:31] code. [3:17:36] » So we need to figure the difference. And >> well, we still got the county buildings [3:17:43] budget, right? >> Yeah. And that one that one was um [3:17:47] leaving that money in there to get the work done, [3:17:51] » right? But we also have that 50,000 that we don't know what to do with. [3:17:55] » Oh, that's right. And then we have to spend not part of this. So, [3:17:58] » we have to spend it by December 31st, though. [3:18:00] » Yes. >> I wonder if we have to spend it or [3:18:03] » allocate >> or allocate it like we had to do the [3:18:05] other ones. I thought the auditor said we had to [3:18:10] spend it, but >> I thought that's what you said, too. [3:18:12] » Yeah. But I'm not sure. Well, that'll be easily spent if if we can get this. [3:18:17] » Mhm. >> For some of it will anyway. [3:18:21] » Yeah. you know, it would help on that side of it and then possibly get a plan [3:18:26] on that front unless we get a grand. >> A lot of that would go a long ways for [3:18:32] those [clears throat] two pieces of things that need to be done. [3:18:36] » Yeah. >> So, [3:18:39] » if we use it for >> You know what, Christie? If if we can [3:18:44] use this 40 grand on the building, that 50 grand could go to help your cloud [3:18:51] » if I needed it. Yeah, [cough] [3:18:56] [clears throat] >> I think we're sitting very [3:18:58] » We going to have to hire somebody to move snow. [3:19:02] » Oh, yeah. But that'll [clears throat] be out of the janitor's budget. [3:19:09] We're supposed to have not much of that according to El Nino [3:19:14] » really. So [3:19:18] » let's go. Where's my data processing? 213. [3:19:22] » They have been wrong before though. So, we could take out the 23 out of that [3:19:29] one. I think >> cuz we don't cuz I mean it depends on [3:19:33] what we want to do. >> Do we want to put off doing the ser the [3:19:37] thing and get a server or do we want to move to the cloud and not get a server? [3:19:42] » What's your recommendation? >> I think we should move to the cloud or [3:19:45] not get a server >> because that would save us actually [3:19:48] $23,000 [clears throat] and buy a server, [3:19:50] » right? Cuz if we have to buy a server, we're going to have to pay the full [3:19:53] amount. It would be a savings to go to the [3:19:56] » well and to only use it for approximately a year or two. That [3:19:59] doesn't >> get your money back out on the server [3:20:01] either. So, >> right. [3:20:03] » I think we should go to the cloud. >> Sorry. [3:20:06] » Okay. >> Sorry. [3:20:09] » And that way we'll be able to be kept up to date on the software and stuff that's [3:20:13] coming through. >> Okay. [3:20:16] » So then what can we we take out the >> 23,000? [3:20:20] » Okay. So then that's 20 25 >> or 6,000 [clears throat] [3:20:27] » equals no cuz we were at minus 23,000 [snorts] 324 801. [3:20:36] So that our other one that we didn't take anything from was the county [3:20:40] buildings. [3:20:45] Holy cow. narrow this right down to that bottom. [3:20:50] » I And we're at 305 that we needed to cut. [3:20:54] » Oh, I thought you said 330. 305. >> I thought you said 330. [3:20:59] » Well, I It says 305, so I'm going to go with it. [3:21:03] » Sure. >> Oh, wait. Let's go check that page. [3:21:08] » That was the other one. >> Well, then let's just [3:21:13] you know where you at. way better than >> Okay. So, I will [3:21:20] » solid ways >> do everything. [3:21:22] Um, >> okay. [3:21:24] » I may if I can't if it's not working out when we're all said and done, then I'll [3:21:28] have to call you guys back in time. >> Fair enough. I think we did a pretty [3:21:34] » I'll email this to you. >> Okay, perfect. And I think I kept track [3:21:37] of everything. I wrote down everything. [3:21:44] Oh, good job, guys. >> Yeah, really good. This is actually [3:21:49] everybody will >> Well, I'm sure they won't, but my god, [3:21:53] when you're $300,000. >> Well, at least we never had to cut an [3:21:57] active employee. >> No, [3:21:58] » that was our >> or necessarily [3:22:01] well, Francancy and >> Oh, but she never worked a,40 [3:22:06] anyway. But we're lucky if we got her, [3:22:10] » you know, most of the time if she did 35 in a month, [3:22:14] » you know. >> Yeah. [3:22:15] » Okay. >> And then we we had over budgeted for um [3:22:20] Anie, so she didn't lose any of her time. We just cut off what we were. [3:22:26] » Yeah. I don't I don't think we took anything away from the employees or or [3:22:29] services for the public doing what [snorts] we did. We just kind of just [3:22:33] tightened things up. And maybe the mills will change next [3:22:37] year and we'll get to reook at things a little different [3:22:42] again. >> And I even sent this one to Nancy [3:22:46] Everson at Mako and I said, "Did I do this right?" And she wrote back, she [3:22:51] goes, "You did it perfect." Because that just was like [3:22:57] killing me off. >> Well, good. I'm so glad that we were [3:23:01] able to get you guys. We didn't have very many departments left. [3:23:05] » I know we were running out. We're >> to um help the situation in [3:23:10] » Yeah. Yeah. [3:23:14] » There is a uh docu sign for Daniels County Treasure Motor Vehicle [3:23:20] Department. >> Oh, that's our Yeah, that can wait till [3:23:24] [snorts] [3:23:31] we put that. I think it can. Let me ask Julie real quick. [3:23:44] » And with that, I suppose we're need a motion to adjurnn. [3:23:49] » Don't need one, but >> so [3:23:54] do it. Okay. In >> favor? I [3:23:58] » All right. Till the next meeting.
