So, in this case, under that C1
[5:12] designation, it does include uh dog
grooming facilities. And that is the
[5:17] request that's being made.

two questions for you.
[5:23] Uh one is that under the CUP
requirements,
[5:28] it says that a site plan is required
unless deemed unnecessary um
[5:34] by the zoning administrator. And I'm
assuming at this time that you um
[5:41] did you decide that a site plan wasn't
necessary?
[5:46] » Correct. This is a pre-existing
structure. It's an infill in a strip
[5:49] mall. So we do not have a site plan at
this point for the building permit. When
[5:54] the building permit comes forward, there
would obviously be
[5:57] some sketches for that.
>> What about parking requirements?
[6:01] » We have not done any review on the
parking since parking and loading would
[6:04] have been established as part of the
original structure.
[6:08] Right now, that building has parking on
the top and bottom floor with
[6:13] a number of vacancies within that
building currently.
[6:18] Certainly plenty of parking currently as
it exists and there's also no room to to
[6:23] contemplate adding parking for this use.
>> Cuz I know in driving by the facility
[6:30] the
[6:33] there was some empty storefronts
and there's quite a mix of
[6:40] uses in there.
There would vary the parking and it
[6:45] wouldn't all be the same, but you don't
anticipate an issue with parking.
[6:50] » I do not. My understanding is this is a
drop-off and collect. So they outside of
[6:55] their own personal parking, I will
assume that they they don't have and
[6:58] certainly you can ask that question of
them as well, but my understanding is a
[7:01] drop-off and pick up by appointment. So
from a parking capacity needs, they they
[7:06] will have little to none.

be having in there?
[7:15] » Initially, it's going to be a
one-on-one. As we expand, that would be
[7:18] up to three groomers, so three dogs. So
it would be a drop-off that we would
[7:22] stagger times.

[7:26] many dogs could you be grooming in
there?
[7:28] » We do one at a time. It's a one-on-one
salon. So just one at a time and it's an
[7:33] hour and a half for or two hours for the
majority of the time.

[7:44] terms that they were going to give to us
right in front of the building.
