Marshall. I'm the city manager for the
[0:03] city of High Springs. I want to make the
community aware of an important budget
[0:07] workshop that's coming up on August 21st
at 5:00. It is important that the
[0:12] community get involved with this
workshop as many financial struggles are
[0:16] facing the city of High Springs. Over
the course of the year, revenue streams
[0:21] have gone down while expenses continue
to rise. At this budget workshop, we
[0:26] will talk about ways to raise revenue,
which would be an increase in fees or
[0:32] reduction in services, which could
impact the staffing levels at your fire
[0:36] department and the staffing levels at
your police department. Your parks and
[0:41] recck service levels and programs will
be discussed as well. We are looking at
[0:46] any option to make the city run in a
healthy manner. Please, please get
[0:51] involved and come to this community
budget workshop as this is going to have
[0:56] a direct impact in your day-today life.
