Mr [21:53] Mal mayor I do is that all Bost all guys excuse [22:00] me sir just I got a call from the resident on Durango that had spoke with [22:08] us before about her backyard washing away and I believe you had talked to her [22:14] about what she needed to do first before the city could do their part and she's [22:20] confused on what she needed to do so I was hoping someone could call her and [22:24] explain what needed to be done [23:11] yes sir I think she's uh you know working at the post office because she [23:16] has no clue really what she needs to do uh or even where to start so she was [23:21] needing some kind of advice and guidance on what she needed to do first [23:30] yes sir thank you I appreciate it anything else [23:35] Al no sir that was it yes sir Mr Green you have anything for the board No Sir [23:42] Mr Mayor anyone have any questions or comments from Mr [23:47] Green all right Mr Campell do you have anything for the board I do [23:53] not anybody on the board have any questions from Mr Campbell [23:59] at this time we need a motion for a close [24:04] determination oh Mr Robinson I'm so you to you being down there I'm sorry you [24:09] have anything Mr Robinson yes I just wanted to uh Alman bledo at uh talked [24:14] about the sound system I want to thank uh John Mark um he has been working with [24:20] this company we've had a couple um pieces of equipment on back [24:24] order a lot of those are in now so the sound should be uh 100% better um on [24:32] their part and our part and and soon we'll have the cameras uh which will be [24:36] live streaming for our citizens that don't want to uh attend they can watch [24:42] it from home so uh the system should be complete when they get the rest of the [24:47] backordered things on uh in uh on the shipment and I also wanted to U make a [24:53] note because been talking to several folks um and and uh thank the the board [25:00] for um being patient with our uh finances but I months ago I made a [25:08] comment that we were going to try to uh go this year uh the 2021 budget year [25:14] without a tax anticipation loan and don't want to jinx us but um it looks [25:20] like uh we will be doing that uh first time in probably a decade that we have [25:25] not gotten a tax anticipation loan to make it uh to February so um the uh [25:31] Financial uh stability of the city is strong um in the first time we've done [25:37] not uh taking out a tax anticipation l so good positive note uh during this [25:44] time of Co Stress and Anxiety certainly is Mr Jim thank you [25:52] all the department heads thank the board for their good work for watching the [25:56] taxpayers money [26:02] thank you Mr Mayor I got one more uh than hanco from Mr Robinson um back uh [26:10] at the onset of Co the board uh allowed um the city and the um [26:18] restaurants mainly to uh use bandit signs which in our ordinances bandit [26:24] signs are prohibited um and uh they've also taken advantage of [26:32] some banners uh up in front of their restaurants talking about the [26:37] drive-thru um some questions came up to Mr Green this week and we're just trying [26:43] to think through uh how long uh you as the board of alderman want to extend [26:49] that um for restaurant owners to be able to use bandit signs we are getting ready [26:56] to come up on Election time and there'll be a lot more bandit signs out um but [27:02] wanted to throw that out to you all right now um that uh ordinance you all [27:09] had wav for them to put up signs saying drivethru only and advertise and keep [27:17] the businesses strong so want to get your advice on [27:23] that so you you want to know the opinion of the board whether they would like for [27:28] the restaurants to be able to continue to use the Bandit Signs and [27:33] Banners until further notice yeah we're getting questions on time frame how long [27:40] can we do this um you know they're being very understanding and they're very [27:44] thankful that we've allowed them to do that to bring business in um I know it's [27:50] helped a lot of the restaurants that have taken advantage of that does [27:55] anybody on the board want to make a comment [28:13] Roberts United States I think we board only one person [28:20] I think you should still Al to do that [28:29] now [28:54] wepp I think he was asking kind of on on my [28:58] and we don't need a time frame per se we just have business owners priers come in [29:03] with questions about how long can we do this what types of signs are allowed if [29:08] I put this up are we going to have notice when it is no longer in effect [29:13] because what they really don't want to happen is to do something that's not on [29:17] the books and then get fined for it or have code enforcement get get them in [29:21] trouble [29:25] essentially have [29:46] I would like to make exted and that when it does decide to stop it all the [29:55] businesses that are using business in the city nobody gave a two we notice to [30:01] get the signs down that was given Ace period where nobody would be [30:10] signed clarification make position the board official Alman Jones made that [30:17] motion and it was seconded by Alman Robins is there any [30:22] discussion may I mean excuse me Mr Robinson does that include [30:28] Signs and Banners yes that's the signs that they're using to bring the business [30:34] in now if they're using them let them continue to use them until we decide [30:39] that that's we need to stop and whenever we decide we need to stop give the [30:43] businesses a two weeks grace period to get the signs down and that gives them [30:49] everybody happy they don't get bu for something that weally said it's okay [30:57] [Music] all of them bless [31:00] up uh the when they LIF the restrictions and that should be sufficient in two in [31:07] two weeks after that I'm sorry Al I I didn't understand [31:12] you sir with then uh when they left all the [31:17] restrictions so they can go back to normal every day doing the restaurant [31:22] and stuff that be and give two weeks [31:29] [Music] okay I think I think your 10 is the same [31:38] as the motion I believe that's just my interpretation am [31:43] I correct all right anything [31:50] else anybody else well we need a motion I think we [31:56] have one Mr do to roll call please Roberts [32:03] Johnson Jones [32:11] Boston [32:15] blo motion carries seven in favor none opposed [32:20] mayor I apologize I add one more thing um Mr Rick uh with waste [32:27] connection was scheduled to be here at this board [32:30] meeting and his wife has Co and uh he's in quarantine uh because of his wife and [32:40] he was with a driver um just last week that also has uh tested positive for Co [32:47] so uh Waste Connections was asking if they could be at the February second uh [32:53] meeting obviously he's not here because he's in quarantine but he was hoping [32:58] that that would be okay with the board any board member object to [33:04] that please tell him we hope that his wife recovers quickly and [33:09] completely anything else Mr Robinson oh thank you [33:15] sir at this time then number nine is executive session so we're going to need [33:21] a motion for a close determination mayman Jones make a motion CL [33:29] we have a motion by Jones we have a second by Roberts
