started digging gas lines which is below that the only reason I'm bring up is it [24:28] has gotten pretty significant they actually they go over that pull into [24:32] their [Music] [24:35] driveway to really that's something that we can look at at least temporarily [24:44] abely that was really it that I had to talk about was our Paving thing and then [24:48] in addition we are Public Work St PRN Halloween prade is scheduled on 24th of [24:54] this month have any other questions for [25:14] oh [25:20] yeah [25:26] was [25:42] just couple [Music] [25:44] things [25:51] systemer aable us to we can [27:56] also [28:00] standing yeah sorry Miss [28:06] that I have [Music] [28:24] else still on the train unfortunately the state portion of that up because of [28:30] the state budget so we don't have anyer we're also 7 o' in the morning [28:37] doing the radio change over check alling out to [28:56] stuff good evening everyone uh to answer M [29:01] cl's question uh we're still having those discussions with the potential [29:04] fund on that project there is communication there is [29:10] some meetings and things on the other side but we are going to be contining [29:15] that [29:23] conversation I can do applications very um some some on some dates uh had a [29:32] conversation meeting with last week [29:38] uh [29:42] stationing of rails that North f is going to have to do to compete project [29:47] you're talking a start date of now spring [29:51] 2025 for their work Street project uh we have a SL push schedu get design plans [30:02] down projectes to move [30:06] along a grant award for our height economic rehab program uh with sorcery [30:12] uh an IT company here in C they'll be relocating into downtown by the end of [30:17] the year and bringing with them the city looking to grow that here [30:24] within within the it's good you bring some addition business here back in [30:28] downtown and in a previous coun session I had mentioned about anthropology large [30:34] Retail Group train [30:41] station releas that was shot friendship you'll [30:46] see a nice little video out there people dance around in his train [30:56] station [30:59] they're going be located on the second floor of the park building above [31:04] [Music] [31:13] Roots thats together on [31:24] the we are still completing work with trans Administration on things uh but [31:29] we're in regular communication with them uh in hopes that we could see some [31:32] moving forward next year but we're still working through that [31:36] with anyone else any other business uh we're talking to a lot of [31:41] different folks uh small and slightly bigger uh we had a great meeting last [31:45] week uh with the group looking at the G still site we'll be morec on that [31:53] project theirin their property [32:03] so we don't have all the details on [32:12] that project um we are [Music] [32:26] working [32:35] thank [32:43] you mon September there [Music] [32:50] was2 22 voting permits beyond that there was two day [32:58] I 15 15 to [33:03] 16 t f the [33:07] magistrate there's still nine up and coming we're adding to [33:25] that that was sent to the wrong address that's scheduled for early [33:32] November but [33:35] yes it is [33:43] yes [33:49] right yeah that's one of the major one we've been working on but it's it [33:54] switched owners recently as well so I I ask this question to you [33:59] but that GL Street property put [34:04] on it's on yeah it's on the it's on the upcoming fall demo RP demo correct and [34:10] I've been speaking with [34:16] [Music] [34:25] neighbor [34:33] they could be wooden they could be [34:54] metal yeah they absolutely [35:00] I they can be wooden but what what they got to realize here is there are people [35:10] obviously it's wood it has to meet code by and stuff with the [35:15] steps accessible can't have straight ladders and stuff like that you see [35:20] something with a straight lateral we don't know about it's onage so we go [35:26] back and track so it has [35:29] to they can't just throw anything [35:34] up and I talk Rec about that property at H [35:43] in yes the last time I was in that building the third floor was actually [35:48] padlock so there's no access to the third floor the ladder was actually [35:51] there they tried to get around so we make them remove the ladder so that we [35:56] can Ure doesn't reused or is that not necessary [36:01] because they have to get per process it would have to be [36:06] through some permanent process if they want if they tried to go around the [36:11] permanent process we can issue letter for them to tear it down if that doesn't [36:15] happen then ultimately and I have one [36:22] question um I'm noticing and I'm sure it's all over town but Mo and Roxberry [36:28] as of late I don't know if it's your mattress and box spring [36:33] mon alarming the number of mattress and boxes are just laying along alleys and [36:39] on streets and I understand the the whole they want it bagged if they're [36:45] going to take it through the garbage process but to me it would seem to make [36:50] more sense for us to buy some dog on bags and bag them I just said that [37:01] they won't touch them if they're not even if you call like say I said hey I'm [37:05] going to put a mat box ring out they tell you it must be bagged in order for [37:09] them to take I was just brought aware of that within the last month maybe two [37:14] months and I I had thought about pitching that idea let's buy bags if [37:19] somebody needs [37:23] it you just so you just go around again you want to be you got to be wearing BLS [37:29] like they probably out there they have dogs so I mean that's why the garbage [37:34] want that way then again the responsible part property are the ones taking bag [37:40] and not they're literally laying houses and [37:44] next to my you know my neighbor's garage and his garage and so you know I just [37:49] want to try it's it looks terrible it would save us money by providing the [37:53] bags I would drink as opposed to time my time going [37:57] out if we bag them then they will take that's all [38:14] [Music] [38:25] I [38:29] mind [38:41] me ramp that up here come November December our seasonal guys are still [38:47] working we have them working for the next week whe pending we may keep on a [38:53] little bit longer to try to get to some of the locks that maybe we gotten to or [38:58] some of the wor Lots but um right after [39:06] that we haven't we've done them whenever [39:13] they're if there's a problem with the property [39:18] um if the tenant has an issue and it's brought to our attention and it's reg [39:23] thir we will go [39:34] how are weing that it's being [39:40] registered how do you know that the secretary right now she's going through [39:45] residency reports she's going through properties that have been purchased for [39:51] verification those lines she has sent out a [39:55] mass to Property Owners if they are reg if [40:00] they're rentals then they need to be then we get the [40:05] own just I know this is long you got here not so much before got here but I [40:11] mean we did pass an ordinance more than once about wanting to get you know we [40:17] were using this as a way of helping fire department helping codes and helping [40:22] everybody have a little more control and a little more oversight as to making [40:27] sure we had properties that weren't falling in disrepair and we were [40:30] landlords accountable for who they were running to and things like that I mean [40:34] and it really hasn't taken years I've been here and hasn't really grown any [40:39] really would be nice to see a plan in place going forward here as we move into [40:44] 2024 trying to get some sort of a you know a plan to start going out and and [40:52] and not waiting for somebody to reach out to us but instead reaching out to [40:57] these these rentals yeah so what I've seen over the trend over the last couple [41:02] months between my officer we have dropped off on the [41:07] service requests so we can either ramp up on magistrate we can ramp up on [41:15] definitely the reent [41:20] inspection that helps helps the chief and the fireman because a lot of these [41:25] properties that were duple I can't tell you how many times in my went into a [41:29] building that looks like a duplex in the front and it's been turned into a single [41:32] family dwelling you know so it really doesn't make a big difference [41:37] firefighter making an assessment outside of what you think you're going [41:42] intoed or walls put [41:48] ups yeah [41:55] abely [41:59] actually real quick on the new software we haven't had training on it yet I have [42:05] a conference call with them on Thursday to set up the train so hopefully that [42:11] will watch it after you guys once we get used to it every You' like to [42:18] come um you guys get you or you or [42:24] coity to take care [42:28] yeah so we actually took care of two one is being pulled out tomorrow and what [42:34] I've been doing is get the authorization from the St I haven't gotten the I'm [42:40] just on the really problematic ones I'm just going a 48 hour notice documenting [42:47] it taking [42:51] pictures on the problem there's an issue [42:57] I need to run or something I'll that there's that on [43:04] Corner been there for seriously it's been there for that [43:09] long it's been reported a million times there was somewhere over in Rox that we [43:14] posted the off and documenting it time that sort of thing you guys are carrying [43:22] tablets right now not yet no been new if the new software comes in then and we [43:30] can doet or Microsoft pictures when you have Cod [43:34] issues already right you take a picture of thing in [43:38] place that [43:42] should because once once you guys get the software up we got to get a handle [43:46] on these vehicles and I hope you get that whatever the authorization is from [43:50] the state Vehicles C dogs trees shrubs but the vehicles are the ones [43:57] that I guess somebody sees one and then the next [44:05] person know right that's police [44:11] radar [44:19] [Music] [44:24] onbody else than I'm gonna Circle back to Jared real [44:29] quick um I'm [44:33] sorry um since J's not here can you give us any kind of update on what why rats [44:42] are I mean have you guys had any communication with theats since the [44:46] league [44:50] has I'll defer that yes so there's uh you know there [44:57] has been I guess some the current ownership group uh it's [45:02] comprised of seven several different individuals so there's been some I guess [45:09] negotiations over the takes and who owns you know what [45:14] percentage of the team um there was a lead the prospect lead which the lead [45:21] they had a board meeting Sunday um and it's my understanding that the ownership [45:26] the the proposed new ownership group did make a proposal to the league and they [45:30] are working to uh to ensure that the noat are going to be in the lead for so [45:37] um you know I'm hearing good things but I I I don't think the you know [45:41] signatures haven't been put on on any agreements yet but you know we'll [45:45] certainly let you let you guys know in if you or something [45:50] do it could potentially if there our current uh our current agreement is with [45:57] NSS uh which is an LLC uh out of Kansas City um and so if a new ownership takes [46:04] control of the team gets that agreement will have to be [46:11] renegotiated they have they moved up from Office well they're they're only [46:17] you know they're heard the terms of contract they only you know they only [46:21] have the stadium for May through August now the office space they have not moved [46:24] out of [46:38] so find up if anybody is present in the audience [46:47] that that's okay you want to update the playround the meeting myself the one I [46:53] wasn't at oh the one you were at that's right [46:57] W there did anybody you on yeah they did we had a myself and Y and Tony met today [47:04] and we're we're coming up with a game plan to try to align [47:09] that in an attempt to try to align that original meeting you guys had within the [47:13] scope of the budget that we have so once we finalize that we'll gladly meet with [47:18] you guys and bring now [47:24] um that from the Ora whatever's in the [47:30] recreation yeah yeah there's about 400,000 you'll see that in the draft bud [47:34] I put out tonight and that's the fun that's what we discussed earlier today [47:38] and then the [47:43] [Music] RFS yeah they're already wed yeah those [47:49] are already wed we're waiting tomorrow we're going to meet with Kathy yes yeah [47:55] once do that move forward and the design for the h and Avenue the minv one should [48:01] be completed they have [48:04] the conceptual designs have already been uploaded to dcnr DCR has to approve uh [48:09] the overall design of the project so that's currently under review once [48:13] that's completed e will complete the final design on the project we're [48:16] looking at a spring construction time period for the H Avenue you conveyed [48:20] that to the resident not the entire group we have [48:23] conveyed it to one of the individuals yeah [48:32] knows one other thing I neglected to mention in my report is that the [48:37] Planning Commission included a letter as part of the packets I know the packets a [48:40] little lengthy but um they requested the tour of this building um and is invited [48:45] City coun tour of this building to look at its structure Integrity [48:51] like highight that as [48:57] uh first Monday 5 [49:00] first November [49:06] 1 anyone public comment didn't get an opportunity to [49:15] sign okay [49:20] return
