[0:07] and we can go ahead and repeat. [0:11] >> Well, thank you. Um, I'd like to call me [0:13] to the order. [0:16] » Sure. Absolutely. So, I will go ahead [0:18] and establish a quorum, but I will go [0:20] ahead and do one announcement and that [0:23] is we um unfortunately uh chairman did [0:27] have to resign from the commission. So, [0:30] I did want to let the commission know, [0:33] but uh that position will be included in [0:36] the uh general recruitment that is going [0:39] on for all of the commissions now. So we [0:42] will be able to fill that position and [0:44] it will be appointed um sometime I [0:46] believe in September so that the term [0:48] can begin in October. [0:50] >> Um but with that I will go ahead and [0:52] call the role which is uh Commissioner [0:55] Dixit [0:57] >> Commissioner Bah [0:59] Commissioner Trapna [1:01] >> Commissioner Gallagher Thompson [1:03] >> and Commissioner Biji. So we do have a [1:06] quorum of five commissioners per [1:10] and then we go to pledge of allegiance. [1:16] [Music] [1:20] I pledge algiance to the flag of the [1:22] United States of America and to the [1:25] republic for which it stands one nation [1:28] under God indivisible with liberty and [1:32] justice for all. [1:39] Thank you. Um [1:42] we now um have one person giving up [1:46] public comments that's not already there [1:50] and being [1:52] um if you can go ahead and fill out [1:58] just wanted to make sure she's turning [2:04] my team. [2:05] >> Very good. [2:06] We'd like to welcome you and you have [2:08] about three minutes or less if you can [2:10] hold now. Thank you. [2:14] Oh. Oh, thank you. And I stand there. [2:21] Um, okay. This is just a thought I had [2:24] and it relates to health which I heard a [2:26] word uh earlier about that. But [2:29] procedures like when there's an event [2:32] that's going on downtown this [2:43] um so when there is an event going on [2:46] whether it's a senior event or just Los [2:49] Angeles [2:51] event um I want to encourage members to [2:57] park following and go off to be women's [3:01] and what I see typically in the next [3:03] door and some of the other places [3:07] is that they complain about [3:10] and I think it would be interesting if [3:14] there was a welcoming organization just [3:18] for the event that it can be included in [3:22] some [3:24] possibly [3:27] across sand [3:30] with it's really good. [3:33] So that's that [3:36] very [3:44] [Music] [3:54] Thank you so much. [3:56] All right. [4:00] Um can we go to the next item please [4:03] which is to approve the minutes of our [4:06] regular commission meeting of June 2nd [4:08] 2025. [4:19] We we skipped this step. We made a [4:22] motion [4:25] for [4:29] you. We have a motion and we need a [4:30] second. [4:32] >> Now you can have any further. [4:37] >> Any oppose? [4:41] Okay. Thank you. And any extensions I [4:43] guess I should ask. [4:45] Okay. [4:48] We may still unable to join us. [4:51] >> Yes. [4:52] >> Okay. All right. Then we move to one [4:55] wonderful topic of the month which is [4:58] the senior health fair and we need to [5:01] start receiving period after [5:06] she is now able to do it. [5:20] [Music] [5:32] Hold on one minute. Let me just [5:34] >> Can I get a second? [5:37] >> Oh, yes. You can [5:41] Interesting. [5:54] project. [6:06] » So shall you go ahead and um once you [6:11] are ready. [6:12] >> Yes. Um [6:13] >> hi Chris. [6:15] >> I'm good. [6:16] >> How are you? and Chris um uh Chair Shaw [6:21] will be uh Chair Gibson will be asking [6:24] you three questions. [6:44] Are you asking me another one? Because [6:45] it doesn't come through. [6:50] Just wave when I need to answer. Yes. [6:58] Okay. [7:15] » Yeah, I can't hear you. [7:18] >> Oh, sorry about that. [7:26] Can we [7:26] >> text? Yes. [7:29] Perfect idea. [7:34] Give her a second to see if we can. [7:37] Chris, can you hear us? Can you hear us [7:40] at all? Yes. [7:49] » Uh, so [7:54] hold on. Can Can you hear us, Chris? [8:01] [Music] [8:03] I can hear you. I cannot hear Shary. I [8:06] can hear you, Jamie. [8:12] » Question. [8:14] Um, [8:16] was the title conference location [8:18] properly noticed according to statement? [8:22] >> Yes. [8:23] >> Okay. Is the title conference location [8:26] accessible to members of the public? [8:29] for sure. [8:32] >> Is there anyone present in the [8:34] teleconference location besides you as [8:37] the commission member? [8:41] » Um, no, not at this moment. [8:45] >> Okay. [8:46] Thank you. Thank you. All right. So now [8:50] that we've included Chris [8:54] and we start with receiving adhawk [8:56] committee reports but you were going to [8:58] make an announcement. [9:00] Yeah. Um so we can go ahead um I can [9:02] start with my report which was included [9:06] and then the working pairs and hops [9:09] committee can additional information. Um [9:13] so before you is an update on where we [9:17] are in regards to planning for the [9:19] upcoming live well age well health [9:22] expert. At the end of our discussion, [9:26] there are two things that I am [9:29] suggesting the commission have a [9:31] discussion on, which is number one to [9:33] determine which commissioners will be in [9:36] attendance um for the duration and time [9:40] the actual event is 12 to 3, but setup [9:44] will be um at least an hour before and [9:48] clean up will be an hour after. [9:50] suggested rooms um presentation room [9:54] monitors. So we have three spaces that [9:57] are designated as presentations. There [10:00] will be live presentations total. So [10:03] three presentations in each of the [10:06] spaces. Um suggestion is that there is a [10:10] commissioner present to help keep the [10:13] presentations on time and also to do an [10:18] introduction of the speakers and to [10:20] welcome the attendees or possibly help [10:22] them they found themselves in the wrong [10:25] location maybe indicate where they might [10:27] be able to go. There will be signage [10:31] each of the spaces. Um but that is one [10:33] of the suggestions to have a [10:35] commissioner present in each of those [10:37] presentation locations. Um a welcome [10:41] station as people enter the community [10:43] center because there are going to be [10:46] again the three different presentation [10:48] spaces and the vendor location which is [10:51] going to be Grand Oak. So, um, located [10:54] more in the lobby spaces so that you can [10:57] welcome people as they come in. Um, and [11:01] also there will be the giveaway of the [11:04] reusable grocery tote so that uh welcome [11:08] space can also um allow the [11:11] commissioners to pass out that giveaway [11:15] as well. And then the feedback station [11:18] which will be a specific table that I [11:21] think we can set up in the lobbying [11:23] space. And that will have um the survey [11:28] which the commission indicated they [11:30] wanted to get feedback from attendees to [11:33] know what future sections um the [11:38] attendees might be interested in seeing [11:41] um in their um uh presentation series [11:44] that they don't click plus um sometimes [11:47] after lunch or other sessions that they [11:49] host. So it could be having that [11:53] conversation with the attendees or [11:55] simply having them fill out a basic [11:57] paper survey that uh we have already um [12:01] created. So those are some suggested [12:05] um roles that the commissioners can [12:07] assist with. All the other setup and [12:10] things will be handled by city staff um [12:12] in regards to getting the tables and [12:14] chairs and signage up. So it's more of [12:18] being engaged with the attendees that [12:21] will be coming to the event. So those [12:24] are suggestions obviously um it can be [12:27] open to other ideas that the [12:28] commissioners have but that is what has [12:31] been put forward. Then on top of and in [12:34] figuring to give reports I've outlined [12:37] all of the marketing avenues that the [12:39] city will be doing. The other suggestion [12:43] uh is to have the commissioners [12:45] determine um additional marketing [12:48] avenues. So whether it is you sharing [12:51] with your own networks um of neighbors, [12:54] friends, um hosting on local community [12:58] boards. So if there are places that you [13:00] frequent in the area and they have [13:03] community boards that you're able to put [13:05] up a flyer, locating those places and [13:09] city staff can provide you with as many [13:12] posters or flyers that you may need. um [13:16] that would assist you in getting that [13:18] information out. And in talk to clubs, [13:21] I'm sure there are many um places and [13:24] events that you may frequent. If they [13:27] might be so inclined, it might be [13:30] helpful just to share a heads up that [13:33] the event is coming and you can bring [13:36] flowers or posters that help you with [13:39] the event as well. So like those are [13:41] just suggestions on takeaways that you [13:45] should decide upon at the end of our [13:47] conversation. Um further in if you uh [13:51] look at the actual report we have all [13:54] nine slides actually build their full [13:57] presentation. So that is um over the [14:02] course of the topics that the standard [14:05] commission selected there will be [14:08] presentations which includes an overview [14:11] nutrition movement um healthy sleeping [14:15] habits um social connectedness [14:18] caregiving and then public safety. Um [14:21] the next pieces um it actually lists the [14:26] schedule. So who is located in each of [14:30] those spaces? Those three spaces are [14:32] this room which is the room, the normal [14:36] class of the lobby which is the needle [14:39] room and then the 8 room which is very [14:43] close to the grand old group. So it has [14:47] a very nice um I think connection for [14:50] all of the spaces that were selected. [14:52] And each of those I've included um the [14:57] setup the speaker time which is roughly [15:00] 30 minutes for the presentation 10 [15:03] minutes for question and answers at the [15:06] end and then it does allow time for the [15:10] speaker to clean up their things and it [15:14] also provides uh transition time for [15:16] attendees. So if they are planning to go [15:19] to multiple presentations [15:21] or in between time if they wanted to do [15:24] a quick walk to the vendor area they [15:27] could visit a few then go to another [15:31] session and it allows some breathing [15:33] room in between the presentations so [15:36] that they have the ability to uh engage [15:40] in all of the elements that you have for [15:42] the event. [15:44] Um then the final part is a listing of [15:48] the vendors which have been secured so [15:52] far and there there's a wide range of [15:55] vendors that have uh been asked to [15:58] participate. [15:59] So and the final part marketing that the [16:03] city plans to do. We do have a free [16:07] flyer and a poster. all of this. Um, and [16:11] I can show you a sample of what that is [16:13] going to look like. We will be placing [16:16] A-frame signage around the community [16:18] center and also down at Grant Park, [16:21] which is our satellite um, adult 50 plus [16:24] site. We will have a granny which the [16:27] location the commission selected was the [16:29] San Antonio Alamino site and that will [16:32] be basically noticed through the event [16:36] week. And then we also will be doing new [16:40] town fire events leading up to the [16:43] event. We will be doing social media [16:46] posts. There will there will be an ad on [16:49] the uh community center monitors um [16:52] starting mid August uh or uh soon um [16:56] August. Um there will be a website [16:59] listing both for the event itself which [17:02] will have additional detail on the event [17:05] in addition to listing on the parks and [17:08] recreation calendar and the city's [17:11] general calendar as well on the website. [17:15] And we've also included um the uh [17:18] electronic newsletters that are being [17:20] sent out by parks and recreation as sort [17:23] of another weekly newsletter through the [17:25] city manager. So all of those I elements [17:29] the city has already taken care of. Uh [17:33] yes. [17:34] >> What about the article that I'm [17:36] providing? Are we going to use that? [17:38] >> Yes, we are. [17:39] >> Oh, good. [17:40] >> Yes. So that is um included in the town [17:44] choir piece. [17:46] marketing. So if we want to if there are [17:49] other [17:51] issuer that we want to submit that to we [17:56] can absolutely do but the town is the [17:59] main ones that the city usually submits [18:02] most of our information to because it is [18:04] our local paper. [18:05] >> Yeah. And on your notices do we say that [18:09] it's free and there's no registration [18:12] and come and go as you wish. Yeah. [18:14] Things like that. Okay. [18:16] Yes. And so I will go ahead and just and [18:21] just to show Let me actually bring this [18:24] up really fast. Um well actually that is [18:29] my stock report um which was included in [18:33] the packet. Um I can turn it back over [18:36] to the working pairs and sub committees [18:39] if there are other elements that um they [18:43] would like to update on. I just have one [18:45] question on what you said. Um, is there [18:49] any, you know, about 30 days before [18:53] the town cry goes into print, we need to [18:56] send an article to them about our event. [19:00] >> Has that been sent already or is [19:03] somebody coming to talk to us as a [19:06] senior commission or anything like that? [19:10] report. [19:13] >> Well, as uh Commissioner Trman [19:16] mentioned, there is a a um that was [19:19] created by the marketing um working part [19:24] and so that will be submitted. Um and [19:27] then that will be in addition to an [19:30] actual um uh pilot land that will be in [19:36] Chicago. And is the reporter going to be [19:38] invited for an event? Do we have to do [19:41] that? [19:43] >> Absolutely. We can do that. [19:45] >> Who does that? [19:46] >> The well when we submit the information, [19:48] we can also extend it as well. There [19:52] were a couple other avenues that might [19:54] be available besides the town prior. I [19:57] think I I sent one to me when the post [20:00] of Poto a lot of Los Angeles people [20:05] and all of a sudden during a blank but [20:08] there's a red paper getting every day [20:13] and they were asking for inputs [20:18] my emails [20:23] [Music] [20:24] this a little bit bigger [20:27] A little bit too big. [20:37] Let me share my screen [20:41] so that you can see [20:56] Oh, nice. [20:59] >> So, this is um and this is the um [21:03] overall [21:05] kind of branding that we have chosen. I [21:09] will share uh parks and recreation [21:11] hosted an intern this summer and it very [21:15] proud of the work that she did on this [21:18] particular she actually designed the [21:21] brain portion here. Um and so besides [21:25] that she also uh worked on um all the [21:29] other uh marketing collaborative that is [21:31] included in this. So from the posts to [21:35] the banner to the flyers to um all of [21:39] those pieces she did um assist in [21:42] creating that. Um so this is a a sample [21:46] of uh the information that will be [21:48] released shortly. [21:49] >> Were there any changes made to the [21:50] article? [21:52] Yes. [21:53] >> Um so it was shortened so that the focus [21:57] could be on the event. Um and then um [22:02] yes I actually I did forward um that [22:05] information that could be forwarded as [22:07] well. [22:10] » Yes. [22:11] [Music] [22:13] She is um she [22:17] is I believe she is in Pyalto and [22:22] currently going to the University of [22:24] Texas. [22:25] [Music] [22:27] Um and her uh her focus is actually in [22:31] graphic design and a um study of [22:35] informatics. [22:41] Can we move to the community now? Yes. [22:44] All right. I have a question about what [22:48] can we say? [22:53] One is when will we say what roles we [22:56] would like to play? Is that now there? [23:00] >> Yeah. Um I just say I need to do that [23:02] once all the work comparison [23:05] subcommittees have given their reports. [23:07] tell any um anything that I may have [23:09] missed or that you would like to share [23:12] um for the conversation and then we can [23:15] decide what those goals might be. And [23:18] how do we get the flyers? I mean like a [23:21] dozen less than [23:25] from you [23:29] that's not [23:30] >> Yes. [23:31] >> Yeah. No, we can go through all those [23:32] details. So I would say that's due that we're being paired with some [23:37] interview reports [23:41] in a list of players [23:45] like I was worship [23:47] [Music] [23:49] hair salons [23:57] [Music] [24:03] for sure. [24:06] Yes. [24:10] » Yeah. The list I guess can be given at [24:13] the end to Jamie. [24:15] >> Yeah, we can give her a list at the end. [24:17] So let's start with the first sub [24:19] committee who would like to present. Um [24:22] I can go ahead and give you the sub [24:25] commmittee script also and I have um [24:29] Chris and I wrote on the vendor vendor [24:31] list and um Chris has a couple of things [24:34] that she's asked me to present in case [24:37] she could not be heard. Um, so the first [24:40] thing that I wanted to say and we've [24:43] done an incrediblely incredibly good job [24:45] of finding vendors and we have about 20 [24:48] vendors confirmed for us and Chris is [24:50] still working on u getting more just [24:54] completely confirmed and ready. So she's [24:57] asked for one question, Jamie. She says, [25:00] "Is it possible that we don't lock the [25:02] tables for the vendors and we keep it [25:04] open till the end of August so that she [25:08] can confirm with you and if there are [25:10] more than 20 vendors who can come in and [25:13] we accommodate them? So we don't lock [25:16] the vendor listing up. Do you keep that [25:18] open?" [25:19] >> Absolutely. So um what I will say um in [25:23] my experience with events is that even [25:27] if they are confirmed [25:29] there will sometimes be no shows the day [25:33] of the event. So although this is the [25:37] list that has been confirmed to date and [25:40] so if there are additional um now [25:44] obviously we can't go more than 25 [25:48] that the space can um will be a little [25:53] tight but it can accommodate and we're [25:56] well below that we're um I think um I [25:59] did not do the count but I think 2020 [26:03] And so we have space [26:07] and if more come up absolutely um you [26:11] just would not go above the curtain. Um [26:14] but knowing um and in my experience you [26:17] just have to be flexible. Um in some of [26:19] the events that we've had um I will say [26:23] 90% [26:24] we may have one or two that may not show [26:27] up. So [26:30] we will do the outreach to confirm and [26:32] make sure they have all the information [26:34] but we will go into it knowing that [26:36] there might be [26:38] >> speech is what I want to talk to you [26:39] about and and to the rest of the [26:41] commissioners. Uh some of the people [26:43] whom I've spoken with and who had [26:45] concerned with me we've already [26:47] connected them with Jamie. They've [26:49] already received the preliminary note [26:51] saying you are going to be the member of [26:54] is on September 9th. your table will be [26:56] given to you at the venue. All of that. [27:00] They're still waiting for the marketing [27:01] materials. And what they're saying to me [27:04] is that once we see these things in our [27:07] hand, we know for sure that we are [27:10] presenting there until we see. So what's [27:13] the date I can tell them? Are we going [27:15] to get them this stuff and a letter from [27:18] you by the end of like this week? Yes. [27:22] So plan was to make sure that the [27:25] commission is with all of these pieces [27:27] that we're discussing today that [27:29] everything is good and then notification [27:32] is planned to go out by the end of this [27:34] week. Okay, one more question. Sorry. [27:36] Chris had asked me to tell you in case [27:40] communication doesn't work that she [27:42] would like to um uh send that email out. [27:47] So, she would like to be the person [27:48] sending that email out around with you [27:50] to the vendors because she's had a close [27:52] relationship in getting them up to here. [27:56] On the other hand, I would not [27:59] I'm very happy to let Chris and the [28:02] sending off messages portion. Is that [28:04] okay? [28:04] >> Yes. [28:05] it's okay, Chris. [28:09] >> Okay. [28:10] on that any [28:12] >> uh is there any specific system by which [28:17] the vendors were selected [28:20] and policy or um idea of [28:26] why they would be here? [28:27] >> Yeah, I can answer that. So Chris and I [28:30] met with the Certino Healthare director. [28:35] She director. Yeah, the director. They [28:37] just had a senior healthcare and they [28:40] called it a [28:43] um [28:45] similar name title as ours. We met her, [28:48] we talked to her about what the interest [28:50] was and she's had these healthcare the [28:52] last 3 years and uh that gave us an idea [28:55] of what to look for. Then we uh [28:58] approached our focus which were [29:00] Alzheimer's, dementia, exercise and [29:03] nutrition and we tried to get vendors [29:05] who were doing things related to that. [29:07] For example, I found a person who [29:10] handles mobility and so talks about [29:12] wheelchairs, talks about um sending you [29:17] know mobility devices to people who need [29:19] it. uh he uh we also contacted the [29:25] hospital and we have a nutritionist [29:28] coming from there to talk similar kind [29:30] of thing. Chris went to several vendors [29:33] in the care um this the [29:38] assistant assisted assisted living [29:41] facilities [29:43] all of those. So our vendor selection [29:45] was based on [29:47] RF. [29:53] So the government people [29:55] are very much [29:57] subject to [29:58] >> right and also what the county provides [30:01] for example if it's information from [30:03] fire or emergency services that what the [30:06] county provides don't also have these [30:09] invited colleagues who who can give us [30:11] help uh in in terms of [30:15] so they are the people who we approach [30:17] and then some people came to us for [30:20] example the people who are offering [30:22] science demonst demonstrations they give [30:24] the dive side exercise classes here and [30:27] so when we heard about this they [30:28] approach [30:32] » are there other exercise classes given [30:36] here at the vendor [30:39] >> there are absolutely both here and um [30:42] some of our other city facilities as [30:45] well garden house and grant park are [30:47] other locations that we have and [30:49] actually the two jazzer has um [30:53] individuals that will be providing [30:55] demonstrations. One um actually teaches [30:58] classes here at the community center. [31:00] The other teaches classes down at Grant [31:02] Park. So there is representation of [31:05] classes that are available throughout [31:08] the city. But on top of that, that is [31:10] just a a very very small selection. [31:14] There are other classes like Tai Chi, um [31:18] yoga. There are some other classes that [31:21] the city offers. Now, obviously, you [31:24] couldn't offer a a large number of [31:28] demonstrations. There were some specific [31:30] uh time slots. So, obviously those [31:33] classes we will include information [31:35] because we do have our uh fall and [31:38] winter activity guide. Um so, that [31:41] encompasses everything that our [31:43] department offers. What's the exercise? [31:46] Are they going to run a class in the [31:48] room? [31:49] >> It will be a sample again just a [31:51] demonstration. So that um it information [31:55] about the importance of movement in the [31:58] classes and the type of things that they [32:00] do in the classes. um that will be what [32:03] is presented but it is more of a [32:05] demonstration and presentation versus an [32:07] actual um class that they will [32:13] » I would think [32:16] yoga and ti [32:18] would also be very useful [32:22] because these are u [32:26] worldwide [32:28] um activities for [32:32] And that's a that's a great suggestion. [32:35] I guess the people who are presenting [32:39] that [32:41] um contact them and they would be [32:44] willing to [32:47] give in one of the open spots [32:51] at the moment. [32:55] So some of the presentations have been [32:58] taken at this point. So that is [33:00] something that we could um possibly get [33:03] feedback and if more people want to see [33:07] that kind of information we can [33:09] incorporate that in a future [33:11] presentation. But for this particular [33:13] event, I hope the slots for [33:15] presentations have been fill in in China [33:20] is almost demanded [33:22] by [33:24] you [33:28] of 500. [33:32] » Sure. [33:35] >> When I was done first. [33:39] » Yes, please. Next comment. [33:42] volunte [33:48] [Music] [33:54] and then we just have to flip the the [33:57] switch there. [34:04] » Okay. [34:06] [Music] [34:09] which I will describe is what we [34:16] scientist [34:33] [Music] [34:36] and I Yeah, I think the risk is pretty [34:40] [Music] [35:04] but I think it's been a great process. I [35:06] said [35:08] around [35:09] the world for three of us together. [35:13] [Music] [35:17] >> Well, I just have a question. Um, I [35:19] really needed to look up who the [35:21] presenters were [35:23] >> and Google gave me an idea. But what I'm [35:26] thinking about is maybe we can have a [35:28] poster [35:32] who knows who they are and since they're [35:33] all going to be in this room, maybe just [35:36] a little poster board outside. [35:50] So the [35:52] so clarification there will be a large [35:55] A-frame poster board that has the [35:58] schedule and location. Um within that um [36:03] each of the individuals has a a [36:08] background biography. Um and so what our [36:11] plan is is to include that on the uh [36:15] event web page so that uh people that [36:19] want to get more information can do so [36:22] in that way. There will be a schedule uh [36:25] shown in front of each of the spaces so [36:29] that it is clear the time frame and who [36:33] will be talking and the topic that they [36:35] will be talking about. [36:37] >> So we have that for each of the [36:40] presentation space. [36:44] » Chris, do you do we want to ask her if [36:46] she wants to tell us something? [36:49] >> Chris, do you have any comments? [36:55] » Um, [36:57] maybe we have a bell or something that [36:59] rings to give a an announcement that the [37:03] speakers are going to be starting rather [37:04] than just an announcement so people are [37:07] aware of. Can you hear me? [37:10] >> Yeah. Yes, we can. And that can be done. [37:14] We don't. And that actually maybe we can [37:18] do in the vendor space just to let [37:21] people know when the next session 5 [37:26] minute marker before the uh the higher [37:29] sessions or the session starts. So we [37:33] can absolutely do that in the vendor [37:35] space. Um there is and maybe we close [37:38] set up we do have a portable that we [37:41] could do an announcement in general [37:43] lobby area as well. So we can definitely [37:46] do that. [37:48] >> Great suggestion. The other thing with [37:50] people that are running the session to [37:53] be able to tell the speaker [37:56] time was you know [38:02] absolutely the and going back that's a [38:05] great set of the room monitor will be I [38:08] think an important role to again keep [38:11] that uh time it it's um it's always [38:16] helpful to be on time so that the um the [38:21] attendees [38:22] can make sure that they can get to the [38:24] other presentations if needed. [38:26] >> Um rather than monitor maybe we need a [38:29] moderator at the speaker side. So let's [38:33] not call it moderator. May I be an [38:36] assistant but also uh at the seeker site [38:39] so that they can signal a bugs uh we [38:43] have a connection [38:48] to I think communication [38:53] can also introduce the speaker. [38:56] >> So yeah we can choose that again. Okay. [39:00] Um so something you've done is post [39:06] [Music] [39:22] themselves. Um so yeah [39:27] for the people that I [39:30] would be uh but I think [39:34] >> yeah okay we have the if you're done can [39:39] we go to the marketing um [39:43] the working committee for the report [39:45] please and I were all working and we've [39:47] been working in the [39:51] [Music] [40:36] Sure. [40:46] I can actually show you. [40:50] >> Yes. [40:52] [Music] [40:59] Give me just a moment. I will show you. [41:06] just share my screen. [41:11] I love the quizzes. [41:20] » Oh, nice. [41:24] So, that's the green tote. [41:29] So, can we make this? [41:34] » Yes. And uh so this is and this is a a [41:38] larger tote. So it is um 14 in by 12 in [41:43] by 8 in. So it has a decent size. Okay. [41:51] >> So that um with all of the information [41:53] and things that the the vendors might [41:56] provide, there will be something that [41:58] the attendees can carry all of that [42:01] information. So that is um have not [42:04] received the mail but the order is in. [42:07] So um we that is what the um looks like. [42:11] Very nice. [42:13] >> Is everybody getting a copy of the [42:15] article? [42:17] >> Yes. [42:18] >> Very nice. Okay. I'm going to um jump in [42:22] and talk about the committee that um the [42:27] Dr. [42:28] and I work hard which is our food [42:31] committee food and refreshments. So [42:33] thank you [42:36] for giving us food. Thank you [42:41] refreshments have been provided by Los [42:43] Altos. So thank you. Now a question for [42:48] uh for the placement. Um can we use the outside corridor that has the shade portion next to the the ballroom? [43:00] Correct. [43:01] >> Okay. [43:01] >> Uh I think that would be uh make the [43:04] most sense cuz it will also the plan [43:07] would be to open those uh obviously [43:10] rather permitting. I I don't that I'm [43:13] going to I don't want to jinx myself by [43:15] saying that because in recreational [43:17] world have to anticipate for the unknown [43:22] but um theoretically speaking September [43:25] 9th [43:26] should be [43:29] there should be a nice weather the plan [43:31] would be to open up those breakers so [43:34] that the inside of our room of I call [43:37] the grand room where the vendors could [43:39] be placed and then be like you said that [43:43] patio area just outside would be where [43:46] the tables where the refreshments would [43:48] be. [43:49] >> Okay. And at 11:00 in the morning uh a [43:52] caterer will deliver the food. Uh will [43:55] there be a staff member present who [43:57] >> absolutely [43:58] >> okay that that I'll let the Los Angeles [44:01] people know and yes I was on your [44:05] cookies including at this time we had [44:08] recommended that they have helpful bars [44:12] rather than do you have a sample that [44:15] you want to share [44:18] some samples [44:20] that people would be interested with [44:23] healthy cookies [44:26] We have dark chocolate oatmeal. We have [44:28] lemon. [44:33] So I'm going to [44:36] go they're going to some caterer who [44:38] will give us box meals and that will [44:41] just come with with whatever they budget [44:45] to provide us and we're going to be [44:47] lucky. [44:49] So this this is from a small bakery that um run [44:58] by Ukrainian refugees and that's one [45:01] reason I'm supported by the government [45:04] because their disages [45:08] and so forth and I was asking kind of [45:12] what the price will be and also to um [45:17] and the price is change it would be $400 [45:20] and I don't know if there's any budget [45:23] recover death, [45:26] you know, [45:29] like [45:31] what they do. So, [45:35] [Music] [45:57] Yeah. To answer your question at this [45:59] point um I think it's already set with Los Angeles Hills. They are already [46:06] they've already finished whatever [46:08] discussion they want with the caterer. I [46:10] am reluctant to start it all over again [46:12] and and reinvent the wheel. Uh very [46:15] budgeted whatever and I'm willing to [46:17] take whatever. If you really don't mind, [46:21] I'd like to keep it that way. But what [46:23] we can perhaps offer is a table [46:25] according to street and maybe show. [46:34] Okay. [46:38] [Music] [46:48] » Okay. So then you have looked at all the [46:51] vendors. Is there anything else that you [46:53] want to look at um for the layout? We [46:56] won't start looking the names for the [46:59] commissioners who want to do the work [47:02] and that will be now. [47:05] So we have um what was suggested by [47:09] Jamie was to have a presentation station [47:14] committee member a welcome station [47:17] committee member three were here for [47:21] yeah three presentation room monitors [47:24] three welcome station one [47:27] uh feedback station one [47:30] so I think pretty [47:33] hours to communicate. [47:36] >> And uh we might have one special person. [47:39] If if you invited the speaker or the [47:42] speaker knows you, that would be nice if [47:45] you were close by, especially if they're [47:48] arriving, bring them into the speaker [47:50] room. So, can we have a conversation on [47:53] this, please? I'm happy to volunteer for [47:58] those three or people. I'm happy to [48:01] introduce them, you know. [48:05] [Music] [48:16] » Make a note, please. [48:18] >> Um, how about two more presentation? One [48:22] would be at the vendor area [48:26] uh to make sure that the vendors are all [48:28] in their space and is there some [48:30] commission [48:37] but this we talking about the um so the location of the welcome [48:49] station and the feed uh the feedback [48:51] back station will probably be in the [48:53] lobby space um conduct. Um and so we can [48:58] do those. Um it sounds like um [49:01] Commissioner Oliver Thompson would like [49:03] to be stationed here in Sakura. Um we [49:06] would need one for Manita and one for [49:09] April as well. Um there commissioner [49:13] interested. [49:14] >> Yeah, let's let's talk about those two. [49:16] I don't know. [49:18] Oh uh is there any commissioner [49:19] interested in the ether room? [49:22] >> I can't ask it today because we have to [49:25] look at [49:28] >> okay [49:33] I'm [49:35] sorry. [49:45] So you need to [49:47] [Music] [49:50] >> Yeah. Actually, Commissioner, um if you [49:55] would be your monitor for Apricot cuz I [49:58] know your um that is one of the pres [50:02] presenters that you have secured those [50:05] which was uh Linda Conover. [50:07] >> Yeah. [50:08] >> And then Ross Police Department and then [50:11] Friendly Voices um would be there as [50:14] well. [50:15] Is that of interest to do the room [50:17] monitor for April? [50:19] >> I can do that. [50:21] >> But I was thinking since he and I are [50:23] part of the flow, if there are any [50:25] questions that occur at some point [50:27] during the flow of the event and he's [50:29] stationed in apricot, then what do I do? [50:32] >> So there will be uh city staff working [50:36] the event besides [50:38] commissioners. So there will be [50:40] additional help through that as well. [50:48] that activity for living room doesn't [50:53] require being there continuously or [50:58] >> it probably would um and so if that if [51:02] there is another role because there is [51:05] the feedback station which I know was of [51:07] interest to you as well to see what [51:09] other future topics uh attendees might [51:12] be interested in the room monitors. It [51:15] would be [51:16] helpful to be there throughout the time [51:19] frame because we can as was suggested we [51:22] can create just small forms that say you [51:26] know 5 minutes [51:28] you know 10 five and [51:31] you need to walk up. Um so we can do [51:34] that and then um there will be obviously [51:36] transition time so you know there will [51:39] be time if we need to use the restroom [51:42] if we like to walk around and then maybe [51:44] uh we can talk through some more of the [51:46] details once we know who's going to be [51:48] in your monitor. Um I can walk through [51:51] all of those um specific tasks. Um so [51:55] what are we discussing now? I mean I'm [51:58] happy to be whatever. Oh man, [52:04] I've managed to hungry in there. So [52:09] this is a piece of cake. [52:14] » So there's our edition since [52:19] from caregiving who will be speaking at [52:21] 210. Uh well somebody whom Dr. Buckle's [52:25] nose. Maybe at that time he can be there [52:28] and welcome her. But before they already [52:32] two times um No, we can in the open [52:36] room, right? [52:38] >> Yeah. That way you can be at the [52:39] feedback station earlier and then go up. [52:42] Is that okay? We can that makes the [52:46] schedule. [52:49] So we we can split up the time frames if [52:53] that is what the commission would like [52:55] to do. [52:56] >> Think someone should be a sign for the [52:58] whole thing. [53:11] [Music] [53:14] >> Okay. Yeah. [53:19] [Music] [53:26] Tomorrow. If not, we going to send it to [53:28] somebody else. If I say yes. Okay. Um, [53:32] may I ask Chris? Chris, you brought [53:35] charges with all the vendors. Would you [53:38] be able to make a few turns around and [53:41] make sure that all the lenders are doing [53:44] what they're supposed to do and are [53:46] representing what our theme is? [53:50] Yeah. Um Chris, maybe it um giving given [53:55] that uh feedback uh Commissioner Dixit, [53:58] uh maybe we can do the um maybe the [54:02] welcome station because that probably [54:04] will be um is that something you would [54:07] be interested in, Chris? [54:12] [Music] [54:18] like face. This is the start of the [54:22] event. [54:24] Please can we have [54:27] a [54:30] yes? [54:32] I think [54:34] one of us have to do it. [54:35] >> Yeah. So, [54:37] awesome. Um, yeah. [54:40] >> So, and I had talked about this and I [54:43] had suggested that she invite or whoever [54:46] invite the two mayors to open it. [54:49] >> Oh, good. [54:51] >> So, I don't know if that's been done. [54:53] >> Not yet, but we can. Absolutely. [54:56] And then we need to back up. [55:05] I think we if one or both were available [55:08] that would be good. That's very nice. [55:12] But it was her idea. [55:18] So [55:23] closes. [55:25] I'm working [55:34] away and I'm not sure the end is really [55:38] I'll be shutting it down [55:43] but I'm not but it's necessary another [55:46] option which would be if the [55:51] however may remain would be willing to [55:54] have a panel and have a conversation [55:59] with whoever has class since they're at [56:03] the event. Um particularly to harvest [56:09] the um [56:12] importance of different kinds of health [56:16] from body. Do you think the 12 people [56:20] will still [56:22] >> do you think the 12 people will stay? [56:25] >> What I'm concerned about is there's not [56:27] a there's not a very solid threat [56:29] amongst all of them. Yeah. So we can [56:31] have a panel about it. So it's a good [56:34] idea. Don't me. [56:36] Yeah. [56:46] » I would if I read from um other [56:53] to [56:56] manage that [56:57] >> of course the other thing is that the [56:59] speakers may not want to stay that long. [57:01] >> Yeah. does which is like if nobody wants [57:04] to stay then I would say so thank you [57:07] very much for coming [57:08] >> but we have to tell them from before [57:09] right [57:11] >> can we have that time we can go to the [57:13] speaker and ask that can you stay on [57:16] well at this point and I would say staff [57:19] would recommend against that only [57:20] because that would put us past the time [57:23] frame of the event the event is [57:26] scheduled from 12 to 3 and the [57:29] presentations are already set at roughly [57:32] 40 minutes with 30 minutes presentation, [57:34] 10 minutes of Q&A, and then kind of 10 [57:38] minutes in between for transition. That [57:41] would put us over the 3:00 time frame. [57:45] So that would be um that would change [57:49] the at least their the schedule and [57:52] there have been several that have [57:53] already listed that they can only be [57:55] there for their specific [57:58] but we have like a week [58:03] we have for [58:06] a week right what the actual telephone [58:09] >> not [58:15] So we are not quite um unorthod [58:32] so often like what we must define [58:35] completely defined um topic and list of [58:40] participants amongst the professionals [58:42] that are coming in in addition to the in [58:45] that [58:49] speakers. Well, I guess I guess thank [58:52] you for this schedule. What I'm saying [58:56] is I think I'm trying to make sure that [58:58] we don't end up mixing but not included [59:01] in this but have as a ongoing effort [59:04] ongoing events that might be beneficial [59:07] to the to the uh to the community at age [59:10] but that's you know I'm not sure the [59:13] staff is [59:14] >> absolutely and again that's part of the [59:17] feedback station. We will have surveys [59:19] available. So if that is of interest, we [59:22] can absolutely take that feedback and [59:25] have it as a future presentation. [59:27] >> Yeah, exactly. [59:28] >> Um but I think include like as you've [59:31] highlighted including it for this [59:32] particular event where all of the time [59:35] slots have been filled. um that would [59:40] if we if that it's not impossible but um [59:44] I would I I think Slack would recommend [59:46] against it consider it and shorten the [59:48] presentations even further to make time [59:51] for the or it's changing the length of [59:55] time of the event which 3 hours is [59:58] already a decent length of time for them [1:00:01] and [1:00:03] I believe the property very gladly but [1:00:07] not necessarily as part of this. [1:00:09] >> I I think it screen closer [1:00:13] and that could be just one of the [1:00:15] commissioners thing. Thank you very much [1:00:18] for attending. [1:00:24] May I go to do that? [1:00:25] >> Oh, absolutely. [1:00:35] [Music] [1:00:39] » Thank you for everybody and we inviting [1:00:40] all the commissioners to join us in the [1:00:43] same time. [1:00:45] occupation [1:00:48] [Music] [1:00:50] that you're going to do that at. [1:00:53] >> Sorry to say I have a time frame, so I [1:00:56] have to get out of here by food. So, are [1:00:59] you going to finish? [1:01:01] >> Yeah. Yeah, sure. Yeah. [1:01:03] >> Yeah. She wants to [1:01:06] do that. [1:01:07] >> Yeah. [1:01:08] At the end of our agenda. Well, I think [1:01:11] there's something [1:01:17] So we have actually finished whatever we [1:01:19] were going to discuss about uh today [1:01:23] we've assigned our commissioners we [1:01:25] talked about and ending and uh we talked [1:01:30] about all three sessions that [1:01:31] recommended the presentation [1:01:34] the speakers and the feedback session. [1:01:40] So, we've talked about everything. Would [1:01:42] there be is there something else you'd [1:01:43] like to discuss? Well, I told you [1:01:46] something in terms, [1:01:50] but I don't believe that those will take [1:01:52] too much time. Okay. [1:01:57] Is there anything else on the health [1:02:01] fair? Well, I have a question about [1:02:04] where you about [1:02:06] [Music] [1:02:30] to manage to um to introduce the [1:02:33] speaker, keep them on time. Um I would [1:02:36] just say welcome people and say [1:02:39] residents on greet them and just say [1:02:41] thank you for attending and then keep [1:02:44] the speaker on time to say okay you're done and then make sure the next [1:02:49] speaker gets the city staff to make sure [1:02:52] that the interviewing and presentation [1:02:54] stuff um is functioning correctly. Um, I [1:02:57] had a question from one of these main [1:03:00] speakers of the room if they had [1:03:03] handouts. [1:03:05] Does make copies of the hands or she [1:03:09] copies? We are happy to uh do the copies [1:03:13] if and that can be included in the [1:03:16] outreach um where we finalize all of [1:03:19] their logistics. [1:03:20] We can make sure and if they send it [1:03:22] ahead of time, we're happy to do the [1:03:24] happy. [1:03:26] I'm curious what [1:03:28] >> Okay, great. [1:03:30] >> Do we have to come up with a voice to [1:03:33] say to introduce a person? Are they [1:03:35] going to provide something? [1:03:37] >> Yes, that's going to be part of the [1:03:40] outreaches because we want to include [1:03:43] how they want to be listed on the sign. [1:03:45] Um, and so we can um have them share [1:03:49] maybe just a a short um Exactly. Um I [1:03:54] think in just a couple of sentences that [1:03:56] in their context [1:03:59] >> is the modeling person the person that [1:04:02] more or less introduces them and the [1:04:04] title and [1:04:07] the hall [1:04:12] and we'll make sure that that's all set. [1:04:14] Um [1:04:17] Jac did you have specific about [1:04:22] Thank you. on your campus. Um, in [1:04:25] regards to what is needed, and that was [1:04:28] a question that was asked earlier, what [1:04:31] you would have to do is email either [1:04:34] myself or Pis and let us know how many [1:04:38] copies of the flyer poster that you [1:04:41] would need and then we can set up and [1:04:44] have that available for pickup here at [1:04:46] the community center front desk and you [1:04:49] can pick that up and share that with [1:04:52] your networks or community boards, [1:04:54] wherever you would like that uh to post. [1:04:57] You would just need to reach out and let [1:04:58] us know how many copies you would need [1:05:01] and we'll make that available to the [1:05:02] commissioners. [1:05:06] » And just to review that there's flyers. [1:05:10] >> Yes. [1:05:10] >> And posters. [1:05:12] >> Yes. So the flyer is just a basic size [1:05:16] sheet of paper 8 and 1/2 by 11. The [1:05:18] poster size is 11 by 17. So it is a [1:05:22] larger um so it's bigger than a piece of [1:05:26] paper so that it's a little bit more [1:05:28] eye-catching. Um so those are the two I [1:05:31] would say that would probably make the [1:05:33] most sense to have printed and [1:05:34] available. [1:05:38] » Okay. And just because Jim pointed it [1:05:42] better, if all the commissioners were to [1:05:44] get together at the end for a photo [1:05:47] session and to say goodbye, where would [1:05:50] be a good location to meet? Would it be [1:05:52] at the front desk? Um, it could be [1:05:55] actually the it uh one of those this [1:05:59] space might be good of actually the [1:06:01] Grand Oak might be I think the most [1:06:04] logical place because it'll probably [1:06:06] have the most activity. probably there will be quite a few people and um [1:06:13] more interesting after [1:06:16] so then maybe we can print that in a pro [1:06:19] of [1:06:22] ceremony in the random room with all [1:06:24] commissioners present. [1:06:26] >> No and we will have uh again there is a [1:06:29] schedule um that will be posted so we [1:06:32] can include that as well. [1:06:33] >> So then we can all meet there. [1:06:35] >> Yeah. [1:06:37] Next item on the agenda will film. [1:06:41] >> Um inside the pocket is just where um [1:06:46] the work plan currently sits. What is [1:06:49] upcoming uh we will have and this is [1:06:52] just a reminder [1:06:54] um our September meeting is going to be [1:06:57] a special meeting because the first [1:06:59] Monday is always reading day. So there [1:07:02] is no meeting that first Monday. [1:07:05] meetings [1:07:07] the day before our event. So, Monday, [1:07:11] May 8th is when our special September [1:07:16] meeting will be and then we will have [1:07:18] our event the following day. So, we will [1:07:20] still have the month of September um to [1:07:25] finetune um anything the day before. [1:07:30] >> Yes. [1:07:32] after it was just very minor little [1:07:35] things. Can you say that again? I'm [1:07:37] trying to move from [1:07:41] the the current work plan has [1:07:44] everything. We will have the meeting in [1:07:47] September the first Monday. Again, if [1:07:50] you see that it's canled, it's because [1:07:52] our regular meeting is cancelled because [1:07:54] it falls on Labor Day. We will have a [1:07:56] special meeting on the following Monday, [1:07:59] which is the day before our event. Yeah. [1:08:01] Um the focus going forward again the [1:08:04] other um event that is being planned by [1:08:08] the commission is the fall fling which [1:08:11] is the collaboration with club 55 um an [1:08:14] expanded event in October. So that will [1:08:17] also um in September we may want to have [1:08:21] a more [1:08:23] um detailed discussion on some of the [1:08:26] working pairs to work through for that [1:08:28] event but that can hold until September. [1:08:30] But on September 8th, we'll only be [1:08:32] talking about 9th. So for fall thing, [1:08:35] are we going to have another meeting in [1:08:37] September? [1:08:39] So it can be a small I would just say by [1:08:43] September 8th, most everything should be [1:08:46] fun. [1:08:47] >> Um so I don't think we will have to have [1:08:50] I think we have a discussion at that [1:08:52] point. So I think a portion of that [1:08:55] meeting can go towards assigning um [1:08:58] maybe some of the working pairs that can [1:09:00] start the work for the upcoming fall [1:09:03] flame. We will also have our October [1:09:06] meeting because the event itself is not [1:09:08] until mid October. So there will still [1:09:11] be time there will be two meetings [1:09:13] October and October to find out those [1:09:16] details of the [1:09:19] Friday October 17th. [1:09:23] >> The third it is usually the third of the [1:09:26] month. [1:09:31] » Okay. Are there any adjustments that are [1:09:33] needed? But again, um the more plan [1:09:35] should um [1:09:39] uh really highlight what is currently [1:09:42] being done. Um and a lot of this has um [1:09:47] most been completed [1:09:49] um with the exception of the um the [1:09:55] » So could we leave the um the discussion [1:09:59] of the work plan and it updates to our [1:10:02] October meeting [1:10:04] >> um to the next meeting? Yes. [1:10:06] >> Yeah, that would that would help. [1:10:08] >> Okay. And then the next thing is um [1:10:12] anyformational items. [1:10:14] >> Yeah. So in your pocket you have quite a [1:10:17] few flyers. This weekend we have um [1:10:21] another family fun Friday which is [1:10:23] August 9th and that the three of that [1:10:26] will be superheroes. Um but we have [1:10:29] that. Um, the other one that I will [1:10:32] highlight before I turn it over to Chris [1:10:35] for some of the other adult 50 plus [1:10:37] highlights and then lots of ski hills is [1:10:40] we are hiring for uh a few positions. [1:10:44] Um, I will say in particular um to [1:10:46] support our pickle ball program at uh [1:10:49] Vegan Gym and then also our team space [1:10:53] here at the community center. Those are [1:10:55] two particular um positions that we are [1:10:59] looking. So, if you happen to know [1:11:00] anyone that might be interested, please [1:11:02] share your I'm sorry to my phone. Yes. [1:11:06] Um and then with that, I'll turn it over [1:11:08] to Chris to highlight some of the [1:11:10] information and then um I'm who is [1:11:13] currently uh virtual as well too. [1:11:15] >> I have two items to share with you this [1:11:17] afternoon. There are two upcoming [1:11:19] excursions from the adult 50 plus [1:11:22] program. We're going to Half Moon Bay [1:11:24] Farmer John's pumpkin farm uh for an [1:11:27] experience uh some fall farm fun [1:11:30] uh in October. Then we have a more local [1:11:33] meetup at the Lyola Fire Station for a [1:11:36] behind thescenes tour of your local fire [1:11:39] station. More details are on these [1:11:41] flyers and of course you can always pick [1:11:43] up the latest iteration of the program [1:11:45] brochure that's available at the 50 plus [1:11:47] centers. [1:11:49] >> But Chris, I have a question for you. Um [1:11:51] for these um events, are you taking a [1:11:55] bus? [1:11:56] >> Good question. Yeah. So um the mini trip [1:12:00] there is a fee and the fee is included [1:12:03] of the it's a kind of a luxury [1:12:07] comfortable bus coach service that [1:12:09] includes transportation. The local fire [1:12:12] department uh does not have a bus. But [1:12:15] uh when you take a bus and you go to the [1:12:18] internet who might go to job, um will [1:12:22] there be somebody there who um have some [1:12:27] CPR training or anything involved [1:12:30] similar to that? You have some of that. [1:12:34] >> Yeah, all of the staff. We we do have [1:12:36] access to basic first aid, basic uh [1:12:39] supporting of care. We we have emergency [1:12:41] phones we keep with us at all times. Um, [1:12:46] and of course just basic uh sort of [1:12:49] hosting support of keeping an eye on the [1:12:52] group and helping with [1:12:56] moving around through space safely. [1:12:58] >> People bring like wheelchairs or [1:13:01] rollings. [1:13:04] >> The bus I can I can get you some more [1:13:06] information about the the bus. I would [1:13:09] um off the top of my head I I've seen [1:13:11] buses that do have a lift. The bus that [1:13:14] we typically ride does not include [1:13:16] doesn't have a lift. [1:13:20] » Could be there, [1:13:23] you know, drive your own car and be [1:13:25] there. [1:13:25] >> Yeah, with prior communication, anything [1:13:28] is possible. Yeah, definitely. [1:13:33] » All right. And then um that is [1:13:35] everything from math is host at least [1:13:38] flyerwise. Um Amina did you have um a [1:13:43] place or would you like to provide the [1:13:45] context for the flyers that were [1:13:46] included? [1:13:48] >> Yes. Um so I included a flyer for our [1:13:51] annual hoown um that will be held on [1:13:55] September 6th over at the Westwind Barn. [1:13:58] Um so if you are free that day um come [1:14:01] and join us for the atmosphere. There's [1:14:03] going to be live bluegrass music. Uh [1:14:06] there's going to be a horse show hosted [1:14:08] by Victoria D equestrian. There's going [1:14:10] to be a barbecue food truck, an ice [1:14:12] cream truck, and um some fun activities. [1:14:15] So, if you're available, swing on by. [1:14:25] [Music] [1:14:28] >> I mean, is the homeown event free event? [1:14:32] Yes, it is a free event with the option [1:14:35] to purchase food. [1:14:38] >> Okay. [1:14:39] >> Um I think that is it for the flowers. [1:14:45] Um the next part that um which goes um [1:14:49] into the uh staff oral reports. Yes. [1:14:52] >> Um the only other addition um that we do [1:14:56] as I mentioned earlier is the fall [1:14:58] winter activity guide is now available. [1:15:01] Registration for Los Altos residents [1:15:04] will actually begin next Monday on um [1:15:08] August 8th. I I might be saying the date [1:15:12] wrong. Next Monday [1:15:14] and then the following Monday after that [1:15:16] it opens to everyone. So if you have not [1:15:20] and hopefully you have gotten the um [1:15:24] your activity guide in the mail. Uh we [1:15:27] did uh mail that out to all of the [1:15:29] residents as well. But if you have young [1:15:31] viewers, we do have some available for [1:15:34] pick up here at the summer as well too. [1:15:36] That is the only other [1:15:37] additionalformational one of the [1:15:38] highlight. [1:15:39] >> Very nice. Thank you. And we are meeting [1:15:43] future agenda items. Future agenda. So [1:15:46] hopefully we already addressed that. [1:15:48] >> Yes. Is there anything else? [1:15:52] >> Mr. anything. [1:15:55] >> Yes. Um, [1:15:57] Commissioner Cohen, um, she was the [1:16:00] representative for source wise. Um, our [1:16:04] plan is to actually bring that back and [1:16:06] then we can add it as a future agenda [1:16:08] item. Um, to make that selection in [1:16:11] October once the new commissioners are [1:16:15] seated, we thought that would make the [1:16:17] most sense timing wise. Um, so we will [1:16:20] plan to agendaize them for the October [1:16:22] meeting. source wise [1:16:24] >> source wise and it used to be called the [1:16:27] council for aging. Um I I might be [1:16:32] mixing up a few of the words there but [1:16:34] it is representative in Santa Clara [1:16:37] County. So there are a number of cities [1:16:39] and other agencies within the county [1:16:42] that serve on this board. They have a [1:16:44] number of sub committees that um talk [1:16:47] about a few different topics as well. Um [1:16:51] the only caveat I will put is that it [1:16:53] makes for a long Monday. Their meetings [1:16:56] are the first Monday of the month from [1:16:59] 12 to 2 virtually and then we go right [1:17:02] into our senior commission meeting. So [1:17:05] um it is a u commitment um because I [1:17:09] believe they do meet once a month I [1:17:12] believe. So um more information uh will [1:17:15] be included once we uh make that uh have [1:17:18] the discussion to maybe make a selection [1:17:20] in October. [1:17:23] And for more information there is a [1:17:25] website as well. I'm happy to send that [1:17:27] link to their website if you wanted more [1:17:30] information about that particular [1:17:31] organization. [1:17:35] » Well, thank you everybody. [1:17:39] Thank you for [1:17:43] your result. [1:17:52] [Music] [1:17:55] Yeah, that's good.
