[32:32] our front desk pool attendants, and our camp counselors.

[32:39] and her office has been helping us out, getting all
[32:41] the paperwork, and background checks,
[32:44] and drug test done, to make all this happen.

[32:51] we had a little thing called a family camp out in the park.

[34:55] Our projects that we completed, we installed 11 solar light poles and two of our pocket parks. That's
[35:01] brightened and metoblin. And this helps with the overall safety in those areas. I spoke with
[35:08] Chief about that and asked for some recommendations where he thought we might should place those
[35:14] solar lights and we both decided that the pocket parts would be a good fit for that. Funding for
[35:21] those lights and we already had some in-house but the additional ones came from the child's safety fund
[35:27] as well as EDC. We began installation of the new playground equipment at Meta Valley Park. This will
[35:35] include a tree hugger seating, four ride-ons, a climbing feature, and a three-base swing set.
[35:42] We are also in the process of installing a nice black aluminum fence all the way around the
[35:48] property and also the additional solar light poles, and this should be completed by next Friday at the
[35:57] We're behind a little bit with weather issues,
[36:00] but they've got, I'd say, probably more than half
[36:03] of it done as of today.
[36:06] The funding for that project also came out of EDC.
[36:10] We completed new landscaping at each of the four
[36:13] monument entry signs into the city.
[36:16] That's the big entry signs.
[36:17] That's the large entry signs, the two on West Airport
[36:22] and the two on Kirkwood.
[36:23] and it's created a more modern clean look.

[36:29] we still play on putting in three very large mature

[36:43] We also installed the floating dock on Meadows Lake,
[36:47] and that funding was provided by the county.
[36:50] We redesigned the landscaping
[36:51] the Kirkwood roundabouts. I hope all y'all notice that. I see some smiles and head nods.
[36:58] This made it more manageable and provided a cleaner line of sight that funding was provided through EDC.
[37:05] We installed new permanent interactive displays at the Nature Center to include a general store,
[37:11] a blacksmith shop and an early Texas pioneer village. We provided first aid training and orientation
[37:17] for 18 summer camp in Nature Center staff and then the life guards were also trained in their
[37:25] life guard training and also AD and first aid. We also completed phase one of the tennis court
[37:32] upgrades. Phase one was the installation of the LED lights. That funding was provided through the
[37:38] county. So there are three phases to that project. So these are listed now under upcoming projects.
[37:46] We had hoped that once we closed the tennis court for that, the light installation that the project would continue and be completed by June 1st.
[37:56] However, the company that we are in contract with, they had a family emergency, put them behind their further other projects were also behind.
[38:06] So, we are in line behind that, we are hopeful that July is the date right now is when they're going to come back and start doing the second phase.
[38:18] Actually, the second phase will include the cutting out and the rapport of the back half of that tennis court where we have severe cracks beyond what a tennis company would do for us.
[38:33] They do smaller line cracks, they paint, they texture, they stripe.
[38:39] So phase two will be that part of it, phase three, this other company will come in.
[38:44] And not only will they be painting, I'm striping, they're also going to be installing permanent

[45:47] things that came up was the amount of trauma cases that they end up responding to, because of
[45:53] the 59, that little bit of sex in the 59, that comes through here. It takes up time from
[46:00] our police, staff and police, and four men in Harris County, EMS, right through this area,
[46:07] and how much that stepped up. They ended up making about 5,000 calls a year.
[46:17] which puts him as one of the busiest regions in the area.
[46:20] I was surprised at that, there have got split cities, they got Harris County, Houston,
[46:27] Fort Bend County,
[46:31] they border with Missouri City, Sugarland, and are in metal's place,
[46:36] and it's really difficult.
[46:37] One of the things that he did talk about chief was that they don't have to worry about
[46:46] Police presence or police cooperation with their departments and when they're having to interact with departments that we just apparently work well together out on the saints.
[46:59] And I was given a little bit of dose on that on Saturday. This is all part of my report, by the way. On Saturday there was a, but I thought it was pretty significant car fire right there by you horse.

[47:19] stopped in and looked and didn't get out and bother any of your officers, but they were all been very professional keeping area safe and clear, both for the fire department and the public.
[47:31] And when I talked to Chief Deakin Miller about it, I said, what was going on? I was all excited.
