[2:24] I'm just very, very special tonight and very, very special celebration of our students, of our staff, of our community. [2:33] We haven't been able to do this for a little while so I'm so particularly excited [2:38] for those of the kind of fan sections or people, [2:41] and just really excited. [2:43] It's kind of a beautiful night of celebration. [2:46] And if we could meet, we would place a certificate [2:51] in everyone's hands, because as far as I'm concerned, [2:54] the people who work here with students who attend here [2:57] and we have the privilege of educating every day [2:59] are beyond special. [3:01] And it is always my honor to serve as a beautiful community. [3:04] So, first in our program tonight, we have a recognition of our students, and I would like to invite Principal James Hauffman from Honorable Elementary School to join me. [3:18] It [3:49] is exciting to get to recognize, not only students but staff seeming, it is always a privilege to get to speak to some of the great things that are happening in our school each and every day. [4:03] and as Dr. Care be pointed out, there are things that have been in every classroom every day, [4:10] all the time, that are worth the announcement. [4:12] But tonight we're here to recognize a very special group of students, some really wonderful [4:20] things. [4:22] I have some notes here that Mrs. Rogers was kind enough to share with me today in kind of [4:28] recognizing our steam tank competition, [4:31] students who were amazing in the work that they put forward. [4:36] Out of over 500 teams that entered the steam tank competition, [4:43] 10 of our school's teams advanced onto the second round. [4:48] And two of them. [4:55] And only 17 schools at the elementary level, [4:59] only 17 teams at the elementary school level, advanced on as far as two of our schools teams did. [5:09] We had the team pumpkin pusher as well as the team elevator and shelf group that advanced so far [5:20] and two of only 17 elementary school teams to advance as far as they did. [5:25] they've worked with Mrs. Rogers and really collaborated as a team, the team [5:31] warmth was fantastic, the ideas were fantastic and I'd certainly like to at [5:37] this time recognize our members of Team Pumpkin Pusher who are calling with me [5:41] moment, John Cabean, [5:49] Mrs. Lilligrow and Scarlett Wallace, and the [6:37] elevating shell [6:38] that is Emmy Madrigal, Jordan Dimes, and Park India as well [7:34] as all the teams [7:35] that entered the competition and those that advanced even beyond the first round. [7:40] I also like to recognize a very special young lady who brought great pride to our school [7:48] through a beautiful essay that was written in regards to conserving wildlife, to the conserved [7:55] wildlife foundation of New Jersey. [7:57] Her essay and poster was selected as the top overall for all of Monmouth County, April [8:04] You are a wonderful young man. [8:37] I'm off to the table. [8:45] Principal of Theater Drive Home Schools, Dr. Colin Ray-Kayton. [9:09] Members of the Board of Education, this opportunity [9:12] to join you tonight to celebrate some of our outstanding [9:15] accomplishments of our students and staff. [9:18] Certainly congratulations for all. [9:20] I'm so excited to be recognized tonight, [9:22] but also a big shout out to all of our staff and students [9:24] for, I think, well, their hard work, care, [9:27] dedication this year for a great 2002, 2003 school year. [9:31] And I think that's a [9:39] different way of celebrating two of our Cedar Rock students with their [9:43] accomplishments in BAN. [9:45] So with that, I will just like to invite Mr. Jeff Brown, just to give a quick look up here [9:51] things [9:58] that we can share with you. [10:00] The selection process for the all-story intermediate band is very intense. [10:05] Once selected, it continues to be intense with the number of practices that the students [10:10] who's worked with students from Ocean and Mom and County [10:13] to then have this celebratory concert [10:16] that is put on and is something very, very special. [10:19] So we're so excited to share with you two of our students [10:21] that were selected to the all-shore band in here. [10:24] The first is seventh grader, okay, Madeleine Panou. [10:28] I [10:46] guess student is eighth grader, Isabella Haddha. [11:05] This is for the Board of Ed celebrating Madele [11:07] and then is the Councilwoman Perno. [11:10] I'm sorry, Assemblywoman Perno [11:11] is that we're going to you learn also have a letter of accommodation and [11:15] celebrations for Maddie and for Izzy so congratulations both for you [11:26] certainly see your drafts are well done. [11:48] To a group of people who are so special and [11:54] tired and really energetic at the same time [12:00] but I'm making reference to the outgoing PTO board. Now some are not [12:05] out outgoing, they've been recruited to stay, but if you have the opportunity to glance [12:12] over our agenda, in addition to all the emails that you receive from Mr. Capast on behalf [12:20] of the PTO, on all of the newsletter incorporations from Conor Romance to all of the information [12:26] media, it starts with the foundation of leadership that you have provided to the Code of [12:32] an account of Board of Education for like two and a half years, almost three years, [12:37] because you stayed on a bishop home with your board. [12:40] We're following schools, stay on a great additional time. [12:44] And on behalf of the entire district of the Board of Education, I am so grateful for all [12:50] that you have done. [12:52] And we want to recognize all that you've done in your country, and throughout the year, [12:57] and talking with the meeting with me, getting me, and all of those things in support of [13:01] of our students. [13:03] And many of them, all of those things, [13:07] you were tirelessly to support the environment [13:10] and the experiences here in Coltsman. [13:13] And I brag about you every chance I get. [13:16] I celebrate you every chance I get [13:18] because you are part of such a huge part [13:21] of what makes Coltsman unique and special. [13:26] And in case you didn't see it before, I bring them up. [13:29] I do want to recognize on tonight's agenda that, lastly, we were informed that tonight [13:36] you were going to be recognizing the acknowledging on the Board of Education, the largest PTL [13:41] legacy grant that's ever been the so-called Apartment Close Accounting School in the amount [13:47] of just under 125,000 doctors. [13:53] Our [14:05] conversation is going to go for things we talked about for our classrooms, for our [14:09] students, flexible seating, outdoor spaces, things that have a lot been aligned, and [14:13] in here are not your student plans, so I just can't wait to show you and show our community [14:18] everything that your hard work has brought to our students and our staff, so without further [14:25] ado, I'd like to recognize the current and outgoing collective, you know, executive work. [14:34] First up, yes, and please get the name standing like that. [14:41] Outgoing president, but not going too far, [14:44] Ms. Danielle McLean. [15:01] Mrs. Kirsten Conner. [17:52] There's a thing we do in our [17:53] of the Governor's Educational Awards, okay, and every year by a group of their [18:01] peers and administrators, or anyone really to nominate the community, [18:05] nominations for annual teachers of the year and educational service professionals [18:11] of the year. At this year, we have another very special group of people to [18:17] recognize and celebrate as our teachers and education service professionals of [18:26] So I'm going to start with Conor Maroon Primary School, the teachers of the year and educational [18:34] service profession on the earth. [18:36] But if there's some reason, I think I should make new people hear for Mrs. Scipito. [22:02] You know, Foster and Janet have been in school, it's a blessing, so thank you for making my [22:08] job. [22:50] is an occupational therapist and sees an array of students every year and continues [22:58] health, foster, developmental growth with our students and with their needs and the most [23:04] amazing way. [24:43] She may or may not have bars that he'd love long. [24:47] She may or may not be dancing to music. [24:50] She may or may not have fun homes. [24:53] on any given day, but on most days, if not all days, she's smiling, and she's one of the first [25:02] pages that students see as they're walking into the building. And for that, in addition, [25:08] on top of being an amazing individual and teacher, the 2023 Teacher of the Year, [25:15] and honor of our elementary school, Mrs. Jenkel. [25:18] Thank [25:42] you, Ms. Every Morning. [25:42] I'm not going to work in the school at a great place to be. [25:47] So thank you to everybody for all your love and support. [25:50] We're [26:00] going to move on to Cedar Drive. [26:02] And our 2023 education service professional of the year [26:08] couldn't be here tonight. [26:11] Ms. Diane Gilmer is also an instructional assistant [26:14] who works very closely in supporting [26:16] the needs of our students every single day. [26:18] It's an invaluable member of the Cedar Drive community, and we are so honored to recognize [26:24] her tonight. [26:25] We'll make sure she gets her goodies, but one more, more importantly, we want to celebrate [26:29] it with random applause. [26:30] I [26:39] suppose they last but not least. [26:42] But not least. [26:46] It is my distinct honor to introduce to you the 2020 Cedar Drive teacher of the year, a [26:56] teacher who has been energetic since the start. [26:59] I teach her that I was excited about from the moment he's got across from me at an interview table. [27:07] Who I knew would take the school culture, the school climate, and the students to the next level. [27:15] And I'm grateful each and every day to call him one of my colleagues. [27:19] And so without further ado, the 2023 teacher of the year, Cedar Driver School, Mr. Joseph, your musician. [27:45] So if you're there with me, tell you to do this special, first of all, congratulations to everyone in our class. [27:49] The really happy to be next to all of you guys and get this award. [27:53] Congratulations to our students and baddies. [27:55] It is a pleasure to teach you guys. [27:57] Thank you and congrats on your efforts and your success. [28:02] Today, Cedar Drive from the Brookdale Community College on a go trip [28:05] as a way to extend our hall across the United States. [28:07] organization. And I'm walking around campus today. I'm reminded of myself 12 years ago on campus, unsure about what I wanted to, not sure if I think it's teacher, not sure if I think it's probably running late class. [28:23] But I take it with around students that I'm with and I'm taking attendance and I see students talking to a hot car survivor. I see students asking questions to curators. I see students pointing out things that we think are actually doing class. [28:34] and there's no greater feeling in the world than being a part of that experience. [28:40] So, to our future, I'll poke that. [28:43] Thank you guys for coming. [28:45] Good nature of America, there's no dream too big. [28:49] Whatever you do, you'll get to get one out of it. [28:50] Thank you guys and let's go back to that. [28:52] I'm [29:03] going to include the banking clue, the rapid mission program. [29:06] I do have to say one of the benefits of being in different tenants [29:08] when the teachers are walking up and maybe do we have to talk? [29:11] You say yes. [29:11] And they do it, so that's right. [29:16] If we could just have one more fan of applause for all of us. [29:32] I'll be turning it back to Mrs. Tormi, who I know is going to participate. [29:38] We'll likely call for five minute recess for those who would like to, you know, move on from the meeting. [29:45] If they'd like or you're welcome to stay as well. [29:47] But we would also like anyone who likes to take a photo opportunity, like our teachers of the year. [29:51] and certainly your face will be free to join us in the state for a further one. [29:56] Okay, thank you very much.
