[0:02] Okay, we'll go ahead and call the meeting. [0:06] Um, [0:10] we have a quorum and uh so we need to approve the agenda. [0:16] So, do I have a motion to do so? >> So moved. [0:21] » Motion. Do I have a second? >> Second. [0:24] » Motion and a second. Any discussion or adjustment? [0:28] Hearing none. All in favor say I. >> I post say nay. Do you have any guests? [0:34] » Miss Madison. [0:37] » She was on our last agenda. [0:44] » You're no longer a guest. You're now part of this. [0:47] » That's right. >> Um [0:50] so I need a motion to enter into the work session for the training. No, that [0:55] we get her into the work session. >> There's a motion. Have a second. [1:00] » Second. >> Motion and a second. Any discussion? [1:04] Hearing? None. All in favor say I. >> I. Post saying hey. Thank you. [1:09] » Great. So it looks like everyone except Ellie is signed in right now and you [1:14] created your passwords. Um, so Brian's kind of just going to walk [1:19] through what Diligent looks like. So once you sign in, it goes to this page [1:22] here and you're going to go community just right there in the center or over [1:26] on the sidebar. [1:30] Yeah, you're good. Good. So when you sign in, it should have had [1:34] our meeting under upcoming meetings up until yesterday. It did have our meeting [1:38] under upcoming meetings and for some reason this morning it shifted to recent [1:41] meetings, but it still works. So when you're signed in from this side, that is [1:46] going to be like four docs where you're signed in. you can see all of the close [1:50] session documents um from the public side. You can still see everything we're [1:53] doing except close session. So Brian, if you want to go ahead and head into the [1:56] meeting there. So I think this should work for you all. [2:01] If you see down there where it says member agenda and public agenda, Brian, [2:05] throw where it's got the green buttons and it's got the little arrow there next [2:08] to it. That that's how you can open up the member agenda there. Our screen [2:13] looks a little bit different because Brian and I have permissions to make all [2:16] the edits and everything, but it looked like you all were already in this screen [2:19] for the most part. So, this is going to be [2:25] » Yeah, go back to the other one. This is going to be the best place for [2:28] you all to view the agenda because one, it shows you close session stuff, but [2:33] also it puts the little stars over to the side just like board docs used to to [2:37] show when we're voting on something. for some reason on the public agenda it does [2:41] not show that at all. So this is going to be the ideal place for you all to [2:45] sign in but you can still see everything else from the public side. Um Brian if [2:49] you'll scroll down on the agenda like towards the general business. [2:55] So when we have items in close session it's going to show up like that on your [2:59] member agenda. It's going to have the little lock. Scroll back down. [3:03] Okay. >> It's going to have the little lock there [3:05] and show you that that's a close session item just like your board docs used to [3:09] it was executive item I think under there. Um so that is not visible on the [3:13] public one but that's just an example that we can show on the public screen [3:17] right now because it's just what we're going to talk about later in general [3:20] business. Um but next time that will not be visible on the public one if we have [3:24] a close session document. Um I can show you all in here. [3:31] Um, Brian, if you can scroll back up towards like the minutes. So, you'll see [3:36] it puts the minutes in there and like any attached document is just a little [3:40] link and when you click that, it opens within this same screen. It doesn't open [3:44] a new screen or Okay, maybe it does. Mine didn't. Um, but it'll open up in [3:49] there just like it used to on board docs. It also has those same attachments [3:53] listed. If you'll go back to board docs or not diligent, we're going to do that [3:57] forever. Um, it also has all those listed on the side. Um, so there's lots [4:02] of different ways to get to those from here. It's it's pretty [4:06] straightforward for the people who were looking outside in. It's it's a little [4:10] more complicated for us when we're putting stuff in, but I think it's [4:13] overall visually more appealing for you all probably than Board Docs was. Um, [4:18] Brian, if you want to pop back over to the public site. So, to get to the [4:22] public site, it's on that sidebar there that um [4:27] back. >> Yeah, pop back over. [4:30] That sidebar there, the one that looks kind of like a little credit card over [4:33] on the side will open up the public side if you ever want to just look at that. [4:39] And you can also access that through the county's page under our meetings tab [4:43] where it has the board of supervisors and everything. So, we are technically [4:46] still nested under the board of supervisors just like Board Docs was. [4:49] So, this is their homepage with all their photos and everything on it, but [4:52] it's going to have our meetings on the side there um along with all the other [4:56] boards that are using this site. Um, you can also get to our meetings through the [5:00] calendar and through the meetings tab up there at the top. Um, but anything on [5:04] here that says like contact or like um sign up for public session or anything [5:10] like that, that's all going to be for the board of supervisors, not for us. [5:13] But Brian, if you wanted to go under the meetings tab. [5:18] » So, this is what it's going to look like if you access through the public side. [5:21] It looks just like what you just saw on the member one. It just doesn't have all [5:24] the stuff on the sidebar. Um, you can open all the links and [5:28] everything through here just like you could on ours. [5:31] And then towards the top, Brian a little further up. If you see there, [5:37] it's got the split screen as well. So, you can open it up that way. And if you [5:41] open up any of the documents, it'll show up on that other side there, any of the [5:45] attachments. So, that's just another way to view it. [5:49] But, like I said, that doesn't show the closed session stuff or and it doesn't [5:52] show where we're going to do a vote. So it's it's ideal to look at it through [5:55] the member side, but if you ever need you're in a hurry, you don't want to [5:58] sign in and want to look at it there, you can visit there as well. [6:04] I think that's that's more or less what you all need to know. If you want to [6:08] save that diligent login as a bookmark on your iPad, you can. Just like we had [6:14] uh four do bookmarked on there. Um just on your iPad, if you're in Safari, it's [6:19] got the little uh symbol at the top. It's got like a an arrow pointing up [6:24] with like a little box around it. You can save it either as a bookmark or save [6:28] it to your home screen as a an icon like we had your board docs, but it will also [6:33] send you an email. Every time I publish a new agenda, it's going to send you an [6:37] email to your county email letting you know an agenda has been published and [6:40] you can access it from there. So, if you don't want to make a bookmark, don't [6:43] feel like you need to. But that's how we had it set up for Board Docs. So, if you [6:47] want it that way, go ahead. So, is that kind of everything making [6:53] sense? Is anything seem crazy? Anybody have any questions about other [6:59] than Ellie getting in here and finding everything? I got it to work. Awesome. [7:03] » Um, you also at the top of the screen have that little what's new up there and [7:07] it's got like the little notifications on it. If you feel so inclined, there [7:10] are videos in there that give you a little bit more in-depth. There's one [7:14] that's like for under the how-to me videos. You all instead of being called [7:18] directors, now you're called members. We measure the members of this group. So if [7:23] you wanted to scroll through and find like board docs to diligent for members [7:26] that has a video that shows you kind of like comparing direct contra uh compare [7:30] and contrast with board docs. Um but it it more or less covers what I [7:36] just covered for you in a much longer format. [7:40] » And I think I'm only in the public. >> You think they're only in the public? [7:43] » I think I'm only not in the [7:47] I don't see any of the close session. We don't have any documents in close [7:52] session for this meeting. >> Oh, for [7:57] today we don't have any session documents. [8:00] » You might have opened the the public agenda instead of the member agenda. [8:04] Brian, if you'll go backwards [8:18] back into that If if you're logged in there, you should be able to get to see [8:22] where it says member agenda and public agenda. You want to make sure he's got [8:26] the member agenda open there instead of the public. [8:29] » He does because he has his profile open. >> Oh, okay. [8:32] » But I'm not seeing that. >> The screen looks a little bit different [8:36] for us. Yeah. >> Okay. If you're in the one that shows [8:39] all the stars and everything on the on the side, you should be in the right [8:42] one. >> I also changed the language on our [8:47] agenda a little bit. Um, anywhere we used to just say like approve as [8:51] presented. I put motion to approve as presented just to make it clearer. If [8:55] you're looking at it and you can't see those stars that we need a vote there. [9:00] It's just like little tweaks we're having to make as we get used to this [9:04] new system. Anybody else have any jarring questions? [9:11] » See, so you're saying there's nothing in close [9:14] » There's nothing in close session today. The only thing that's like not available [9:17] on the public one today is those little comments that Brian had underneath the [9:21] falling branch discussion in general business, but those aren't a big deal [9:25] because those are the the topics we're going to cover. I just left that in [9:29] there because it's a good example of what it will look like when we have a [9:32] close session document. >> Okay. And the stars over on the other [9:37] side, those don't show up. >> Yeah, those don't show up in the public, [9:42] but they do show up for us. Um, and that just indicates that there's a vote [9:46] there. And I I changed the language, like I said. So now it says like motion [9:51] to approve minutes instead of just approve minutes like it used to say. And [9:54] it's it's just a big every little thing I find. It's like, [10:00] oh, we need to make that a different [10:04] I think next month will be a lot smoother now that everybody's figured [10:08] out how to get in here. Glad we will have forgotten all of that. [10:14] » Ford did this upgrade. It wasn't a choice for users to switch to this [10:19] platform. I do think the platform was better, but we didn't really have a [10:23] choice to switch, >> right? [10:27] Anybody else have any questions getting in here or navigating? [10:34] » All right. Then I think you're good to do a motion to exit close session [10:37] whenever or work session. Sorry. Whenever you're ready. Just one more. [10:40] How do I put it on my home screen? >> Um, so if you're on your iPad, up at the [10:45] top in Safari, there's like a little button that says it's like an arrow [10:48] pointing up and then like a little box around it. Yeah. [10:51] » And it gives you an option to either add it as a bookmark or add to your home [10:54] screen. And it it might not work from like the agenda page. You might have to [10:59] do it from like this the login page. >> Okay. Yeah, it is the agenda page. Okay. [11:04] » All right. Thank you. Mhm. And then like just like Board Docs, you all can access [11:09] this from home from your personal computers if you'd rather. As long as [11:12] you've got your password, you're good to get in from whatever device. This was [11:15] just to get it set up. It had to go to your county email. [11:23] » Okay. So, everybody ready to exit the work session? [11:29] Have a motion. >> So, move [11:33] it. Have a second. Second >> motion and second. Any discussion? [11:39] Hearing none. All in favor say I. I. >> Those say nay. Thank you. Now we can go [11:44] to the consent agenda. Need to approve the minutes of the [11:51] August 19th meeting which is linked there. [11:58] Have such a motion. Motion to approve the minutes from [12:04] August 19th. >> Thank you. We have a second. [12:07] » Second. >> Motion and a second. Any discussion of [12:11] the [12:15] none. All in favor say I. >> I. Say nay. [12:20] Now the treasures report. >> I'm just going to go straight to the [12:24] September uh treasures report because it's cumulative. So if you have [12:28] questions with that and want to go back, we can do that. But um [12:36] if you go to the second page, you can the first page is pretty standard with [12:41] our assets and liabilities. The second page shows the change for the year in [12:45] net assets which the EDA has collect has income of 49,695. [12:54] Mostly that's because the um contributions from the county that are [12:57] made at the beginning of the year have all been made and then a few um expenses [13:03] have been paid. And the third page is the cash flow statement which is pretty [13:07] much the same as the income statement this month. It shows an increase in cash [13:13] of about a little less than $50,000. So not much activity this far. This not [13:20] much activity yet this year. Does anybody have any questions? [13:27] » So there's August, then a September September. [13:35] » Any discussion about this? We have a motion to Well, we have a motion to [13:40] approve the treasures reports. >> Yep. For for which months? For both [13:44] months. >> For both months. Yeah. [13:46] » All right. So, I move to approve the treasur report for both months. [13:50] » Thank you. Have a second. Second motion and a second. Any further [13:55] discussion? Hearing none. All in favor say I. I. [13:59] » Post say nay. >> Thank you. [14:02] » Okay. Ready to go into close session. Do we have a motion? [14:07] » We go into close session for the project. [14:11] » Thank you. We have a second. >> Second. A [14:14] » motion and a second. Any discussion? Hearing none. All in favor say I. I. [14:19] » Say nay. Thank you.
