If anyone is here to make a [5:55] public comment, please come forward. If there are no public comments, we will [6:01] close that. Item three is adoption of a resolution declaring the special [6:06] election results of the March 25th, 2025 special election. Move to approve. [6:11] Second. We have a motion to approve. Everyone has a copy. There was a copy of [6:15] available out front to everyone. Um so, um we have a motion. We have a second. [6:22] Is there any discussion? All right. Um, according to [6:28] this resolution, the winner of that election with [6:32] 2,289 votes was Mr. Mike Tinky. And um, so after the successful passage of this, [6:39] we will administer the oath of office. All in favor of the resolution, please [6:43] say I. I. Any opposed? All right. The resolution is passed declaring that Mr. [6:49] Mike Tiny is the uh, winner of the special election. And item number four [6:55] is administration of the oath of office to council member elect Mike Tiny. Mike, [6:59] if you and your party would come [7:14] forward, which side of all this do you want us? [7:41] There we [7:45] go. [7:52] Perfect. You got it. All right, Mike, if you'll put your left hand there and your [7:57] right hand raise your right hand. All right, [8:01] repeat after me. I do solemnly swear I do solemnly swear that I am duly [8:05] qualified that I am duly qualified according to the constitution of this [8:09] state according to the constitution of this state to exercise the duties of the [8:14] office to exercise the duties of this office to which I have been elected to [8:18] which I've been elected and that I will do to the best of my ability I will do [8:22] to the best of my ability discharge the duties thereof discharge the duties [8:27] thereof and preserve protect and defend preserve protect defend the Constitution [8:33] of this state the Constitution of this state and of the United States and of [8:36] the United States as a council member of the town of Mount Pleas as a council [8:40] member of the town of Mount Pleas I will equally I will equally fairly fairly and [8:45] impartially and impartially to the best of my ability to the best of my ability [8:50] and skill and skill exercise the trust exercise the trust reposed in me reposed [8:56] in me and I will use my best endeavors and I will use my best endeavors to [9:01] preserve the peace preserve the peace and carry into effect and carry into [9:05] effect according to law according to law the purposes the purposes for which I [9:10] have been elected for which I've been elected so help me God so help me God [9:14] congratulations [9:29] we council wear this to official function so [9:34] everyone knows that you represent the people in the town.
