[0:01] [Music] [0:07] we are with orangburg County EMS we are celebrating EMS week starting May 19th [0:13] through May 25th this is our 50th year of Emergency Medical Services and we [0:21] would like to thank all the citizens who support us while we do this e effortless [0:26] job like she said we're just we're grateful for the County Council and all [0:29] the work they've done to get us to where we are we couldn't do it without them [0:33] and we're also very grateful for our staff and all the work they put in day [0:36] in and day out just want to say Happy EMS week and thank County counsil our [0:42] administrative staff um also anyone that works in the admin building that helps [0:47] out our department um I want to personally say thank you to our director [0:51] and operations manager um for everything that they do for our service and thanks [0:55] to the crews for their heartbreaking dedication thanks we recognize [1:00] we see a lot of EMS people in here today the County Council of RB County in [1:06] recognition of this event does hereby proclaim the week of May 19th 20 to the [1:13] 25th 2024 as a me Emergency Medical Service week um this is the 50th [1:20] anniversary of EMS week theme is EMS week honoring our past forging our [1:26] future we encourage the community to observe this week [1:30] with the appropriate programs ceremonies and [1:34] activities and we certainly would like to give all of our medical people a hand [1:41] for [1:46] being you all have a vital job to do and we can't appreciate [1:52] you enough sometimes people take it for granted until something happened in [1:57] their household and they got to call somebody and [2:00] I'm Crystal chitty and Advance [2:04] EMT K Gil operations manager RG Edwards Mishi [2:12] super ham hman Administrative Assistant Alicia Scher office [2:20] manager Victoria Scher a captain the little [2:28] lady stand up paramedic [2:34] officer davidar CI supervisor Victoria Matthews [2:41] paramedic Amanda Jeffers advanc DNT Marcus mck basic [2:49] AMT um Dave Bren basic AMT Kaya wagel dshift assistant [2:57] supervisor and training officer Stephanie GI [3:02] director thank you so very much yes ma'am you know another just wanted to [3:07] say that we give a lot of credence to the EMS as we said in the meeting we [3:12] we're proud of our EMS professionals what they bring to the table and we're [3:16] thankful for them please keep them in your prayers because they do a lot go [3:20] through a lot to serve the citizens of orangburg County and uh it's always a [3:23] great day in orangburg count thank you
