Giving everyone, and, by the call, the public council meeting for September 2, 2021, to unparadise to order, and we'll start off at our safety moment, and it will be late.
[0:16]
As with students heading back to the classroom tomorrow, night safety moment focuses on operation ABC, always be careful.
[0:28]
For drivers and school zones, it's important to do speed, we're ready to always stop.
[0:33]
The Bay Cross e-mails drive with caution, always be preparing and yield to the SPMs, and remember that children expect you to stop.
[0:43]
The parents and children walking to the school, remember to walk on the Bay of Little sidewalks, and always cross at an intersection or crosswalk.
[0:52]
When crossing the intersections, make sure you stop before stepping on to the road and be visible and integrate very attention to cross turn off or mute any device that impairs your hearing.
[1:04]
And do not text or play an handheld.
[1:08]
Hey, a little and listen for traffic in all directions, keep an eye out for turning vehicles walk doing a run cycle or escape or a stinkboard across the road and cross only when the road is clear.
[1:22]
And driving children to school, remember to stop for school buses and be aware of children exiting at the bus, park away from school and walk their child onto school gravity right early to the congestion and do not park in a no parking zone.
[1:40]
And have children exit from the passenger side and go bay all parking rules that's all do our part to make sure everyone stays safe this year.
[1:51]
So a lot of information, but it's a lot of good information about kids are back to school and sit there.
[1:57]
They're excited. Some are excited to come back. So it's not something to be not very good.
[2:03]
Okay, next is the adoption of the agenda, and we were moved by Councillor Baker, second by Councillor Coltty.
[2:11]
All in favor.
[2:13]
Hi.
[2:14]
I'm Terry.
[2:16]
And any conflicts of Andrews to declare from this agenda.
[2:21]
Let me see.
[2:23]
And what will the public be under in the start of an engineering and I'm following the lowest call.
[2:30]
I ask.
[2:31]
I like to ask Councillor.
[2:32]
I'm in contact.
[2:33]
I'm for all recently.
[2:35]
There are relatives.
[2:37]
We're going properly.
[2:39]
Okay. Thank you very much.
[2:41]
Do I have a motion.
[2:42]
That it comes for later.
[2:44]
I'm at Washington to know that.
[2:48]
The Ministry may be in a potential conflict.
[2:51]
I'm interested in the windmill road by the money agenda.
[2:54]
Okay, moved by Councillor Baker, second by Councillor Coltty.
[2:58]
Any questions or discussion.
[3:01]
The fields at.
[3:03]
We were feet mainly in a potential conflict of interest.
[3:06]
So the end of these.
[3:08]
I'm assuming that comes up.
[3:10]
You just push a chair away from the table.
[3:12]
Okay.
[3:16]
The next.
[3:17]
I don't think we have a population in that population for a while.
[3:22]
The influence.
[3:23]
The nation is 25.
[3:25]
We're as.
[3:27]
We're as.
[3:29]
We're as.
[3:31]
We're as.
[3:32]
Nationwide community support.
[3:34]
As being critical.
[3:35]
We're as.
[3:36]
Society.
[3:37]
Canada's.
[3:38]
and in a big row of degrees.
[3:44]
2020 will make us to remain.
[3:48]
Following the field of.
[3:52]

[3:54]
2011 and the institutional field of.
[3:57]
The College.
[3:58]
All smiling.
[3:59]
With dollars.
[4:01]
uffs around the.
[4:02]
Well you know.
[4:03]
This certainly understanding.
[4:05]
By do it.
[4:07]
rate or spotlight on this growing issue, the number of people in Canada that's arthritis
[4:12]
will rise to 9,000,000 by 2025. And whereas during arthritis, where in this month this
[4:20]
September we will raise awareness, mobilize and increase communities to understand the devastating
[4:26]
impact of arthritis and stand with us to fight for arthritis for future. We recognize the work
[4:33]
underway to develop the nationwide arthritis action plan to take on the big issues of arthritis,
[4:40]
the children prevention, equitable access to the care and treatment, and elevating the urgency
[4:46]
of the disease. And whereas our arthritis society in Canada is Canada's national charity
[4:53]
dedicated to extinguishing arthritis for good. Therefore, I'd hand by the
[5:00]
we're playing September 2025 as arthritis month, the awareness month in the time of paradise.
[5:13]
Grace and awareness, but our optimizations are all about, this one certainly does that.
[5:29]
The option of the public council minutes for August 26th, 2005, to have a mover move like
[5:51]
house for a mirror, second by a single cast of a crew, yet correct, the sir.
[6:00]
All right. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you, Dennis. The meeting business arrives in from those minutes.
[6:07]
Okay.
[6:15]
The next we have, actually I'm sorry, so it was the adoption of the community of all minutes.
[6:24]
You may say that. Okay, I thought it just seemed okay. Thank you.
[6:30]
I'm saying the thing. Okay. Now, the agreement's low.
[6:40]
So, next we have the adoption of the public council minutes for August 19th, 2020. Do I move our
[6:49]
council or banners that have been heard in our own favor that I, I'm prepared to be business
[6:55]
rising from the public council. It's, it was not, I'm also able to move on to in the
[7:03]
state of the country. Thank you. Thank you. Your first item. I mean, again, tonight is the
[7:10]
drove us for a water, sort of a great kind of great change notice going water. So, we're up
[7:14]
for a project included at a time into the water line running across the Maddo draw future road
[7:20]
reserved at the intersection on the future Maddo draw and future drovers road.
[7:26]
To mitigate any water disruption and to upgrade the aging vaping, it was requested to install a
[7:31]
new 300 by 200 capping slate and valve for the tie into the water main in the amount of 18,515
[7:40]
dollars and 61 cents plus HST. The existing tapping sleeve is already significantly age,
[7:46]
as it was placed at the time of Maddo, at the time of Maddo draw, water line was put in fits.
[7:52]
The existing, sorry, others move on here. So, the project has funding,
[7:58]
has funding under the multiple multi-year capital work funding,
[8:03]
any amount of a million, eight hundred and seventy thousand one hundred and twenty two dollars
[8:07]
thirty-one cents. There's sufficient funding for this time to pay the change order.
[8:11]
Be it was all the town of Paris, accept the change order one, and issue a change order to
[8:17]
precision excavation in the amount of 21,000, two hundred and eighty seven dollars,
[8:22]
twenty-one cents HST paid. Move it in your state, sign a line. If you have some more,
[8:29]
discussion, the number of labour, the criteria in four week, next one, I'll explain the knowledge
[8:40]
of Brian Grage and Chris Kalli is at the Lake, Brian Grage is for both works, and Chris Kalli is for
[8:46]
infrastructure in the engineering industry. Thank you, thank you for the next item,
[8:52]
The government is the DROBERS world war.
[8:54]
So upgrade companies change those phone.
[8:57]
Our notice too. Sorry.
[8:58]
The engineering consultant and go on the DROBERS world war
[9:02]
are still in the program. Has identified a zero dollar change order for the
[9:05]
reallocation of $7500 plus HST from geo technical investigation
[9:10]
cash allowance to the contract administration budget.
[9:14]
The reallocation is necessary to accommodate additional engineering
[9:19]
relations that have a reason beyond the original scope of the project.
[9:23]
These recommendations pertaining to existing development within
[9:28]
our project and our essential to ensure that the best options and decisions
[9:32]
can be made.
[9:34]
As part of this expanded scope.
[9:37]
Additional course coordination additional meetings with the
[9:40]
contractor have been required to address requests for information
[9:43]
related to the development.
[9:45]
And these requests for information have prompted further engineering
[9:48]
input to clarify design intent.
[9:50]
Resolve site specific allocation by conditions and support
[9:54]
informed decision making through the construction process.
[9:57]
Be it resolved the entire pair is accepted.
[9:59]
That's where the change notes to and issue a zero dollar change order to
[10:03]
endowed to allocate $8,625 HST included from geo technical
[10:09]
investigation cash allowance to the contract administration budget.
[10:14]
As someone within your stream, signify.
[10:17]
Council member.
[10:19]
Discussion.
[10:20]
Questions.
[10:22]
Any numbers?
[10:23]
Any number?
[10:24]
Thank you.
[10:25]
Next item.
[10:28]
Your worship is the silver burst trail.
[10:31]
A pedestrian trail from silver burst present to paradise elementary has been
[10:35]
reviewed.
[10:36]
It's a trail system through the parent.
[10:39]
The trail fails are the sorry.
[10:41]
The trail falls in between civic 14 and 16.
[10:46]
And requires some breeding work to make the trail accessible.
[10:50]
The combination of graduate material and retaining wall blocks will
[10:54]
bring the trail to the required rate.
[10:56]
And the design has been completed by grant
[10:59]
compost authority and construction has started.
[11:02]
The grant concourse authority has begun the trail and been along really well
[11:08]
right with it right now.
[11:09]
We can silver budget present and paradise elementary.
[11:12]
And once it's completed, the packed way of paradise elementary grounds will be
[11:16]
upgraded to the brand of a trail.
[11:18]
And this will be captured in the original agreement.
[11:22]
Be it resolved the town of paradise award silver burst present trail
[11:26]
construction to grant concourse authority in the amount of $164,428.
[11:32]
And none of the things.
[11:34]
I don't want to stress to ask them.
[11:36]
Open to be your street.
[11:37]
Sign up by Castor Bayers.
[11:39]
Congratulations.
[11:40]
This one is a lot of, obviously, we wanted it for last year.
[11:46]
It connects silver burst suburbation down to the schools.
[11:50]
I think it's not safely true submission.
[11:52]
We're going to have to look at the streets.
[11:55]
So this is a very effective opportunity to put time.
[11:59]
Let's go out for anybody.
[12:00]
Thank you.
[12:02]
Here.
[12:03]
Casey, no questions on favour.
[12:05]
Hi.
[12:06]
Very.
[12:07]
And next.
[12:09]
Thanks.
[12:10]
That way and I'll ask.
[12:11]
As we'll not have to be this pretty.
[12:12]
Thank you.
[12:13]
This one when we will roll it.
[12:15]
Called work.
[12:16]
CCBF funding revision.
[12:18]
We'll in background here.
[12:19]
providing residents.
[12:20]
We'll roll these blister water and sewer infrastructure.
[12:23]
It's not the towns water and sewer priorities.
[12:26]
funded project.
[12:27]
the mean to SGI-24-0,0069, includes the installation of 140 meters of water and sewer
[12:35]
main, connections to those for sewer properties, new hydrants, culverts, upgraded ditching,
[12:42]
a new asphalt surface, including turning circle.
[12:46]
When the tender from construction was prepared, the second project was to install a new
[12:51]
box culvert in accordance with the 2019 storm water management plan was included with the
[12:56]
expectation that the second project would be funded separately from the literables of the
[13:01]
water and sewer project.
[13:03]
Both projects are included under the one construction contract, the Dexter Construction
[13:07]
Company London.
[13:08]
When the mill wrote a culvert project, applied for Canadian community building fund, as determined
[13:15]
in motion M25-158, and was approved on July 28, 2025 in the amount of 268,732 dollars.
[13:26]
Since this approval, there has been a pro-change in the amount of $63,500 plus HST to extend
[13:35]
the foundations of the culvert for frost protection and apply for additional funding.
[13:40]
As council agrees, it revised that, in case you will be submitted captured in the additional $63,500 plus
[13:47]
HST.
[13:48]
The additional approved amount for CCVF funding for the wing mill rowed box culvert project was in the
[13:54]
amount of $268,732.
[13:58]
An additional $63,500 plus HST being requested to be revised in the CCVF application as per
[14:07]
boat change in M25-283.
[14:10]
The new request could amount will be $332,232.
[14:16]
There is significant CCVF funding available for this request.
[14:20]
The result, the town of Paradise, submit a revised, candid community building fund application
[14:25]
in the amount of $332,232, HST included for a windmill rowed over project as a move.
[14:34]
It will be by Councillor Marr, second by Councillor Polty, and a discussion.
[14:41]
Be comments on that one, but that's one.
[14:43]
If.
[14:44]
No, the worship of this one's been around a few times, and now it's basically just an extension
[14:48]
to the drop grading evapover and the extra funding needed.
[14:53]
And it will conclude the Canadian building fund.
[14:56]
So thank you for that, Councillor.
[15:00]
Our budget, board, metro, water, beds, and private security activities.
[15:03]
Thank you.
[15:05]
I have a question for your question.
[15:06]
I'm sorry, you have two of the residents, okay.
[15:17]
Your question, please.
[15:19]
Okay.
[15:20]
We're gonna go.
[15:22]
I need to chat.
[15:25]
contractive work of upgrading the storm road and sidewalk multi-use trail on Camaro Road.
[15:31]
It has been identified that there is a forecast that funding surplus available under the
[15:35]
rural northern communities funding that has been approved for this project.
[15:40]
As Ed Lining recommended in M25-200 on June 10th, 2025, the options of extending the
[15:47]
work limits on Camaro Road upgrade and completing water sewer stoves to the access for between
[15:53]
1286 and 1296 Camaro Road have been designed and a cost has been produced for consideration.
[16:01]
For about for consideration. Both options have been submitted. A project
[16:06]
amendment formed to the Grinch of Government for approval that Grinch of Government has indicated
[16:11]
that funding will not be provided for water sewer stoves between 1286 and 1296 Camaro Road.
[16:17]
As funding does not qualify for water sewer stoves to bake at 9th.
[16:22]
The work of Lining of Extension is still under review by the Grinch of Government
[16:25]
but locally to be approved. Based on the current committee costs, the progress of work there
[16:31]
is a forecast of surplus of 863,700, and $10 50 to a sense plus HST.
[16:38]
And this surplus amendment will be investigated to determine how far the work limit can be extended
[16:43]
on Camaro Road. A quote of 90,000 HST has been provided by modern payment to complete the water sewer
[16:51]
and this work will not be funded by the Grinch of the Lining of Extension.
[16:55]
It is required to be funded by the town and 90,000 dollars per HST will be reallocated
[17:01]
from the Trent and Drive Open Space Project budget to the Camaro Road project for the water
[17:06]
sewer stoves. As per motion M25-22, an application for a candidate community building fund
[17:15]
funding has been submitted for the Trent and Drive Open Space Project.
[17:19]
Be it resolved that the town of the caravace for water change order to modern pay
[17:23]
view and water sewer stoves to add water sewer stoves to the service of the future of
[17:28]
between 1286 and 1276 that's came up with an amount of $103,500 HST in the present.
[17:35]
We'll go give you your street, but we'll buy a sense of locuro, a station, a council that I didn't
[17:43]
Thank you. This is the right thing to do. This area is going to be paid now soon and to go back
[17:51]
and tear it up to put in the stoves where it doesn't make much sense to pull back and do that right now.
[17:57]
We know that we can put those in and have the half the whole area completed in one.
[18:04]
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. There's problems. Any further comments? Councillor Vaders.
[18:08]
Thank you. Our ship also great of course we're getting this work done. It makes a perfect sense.
[18:11]
My question to be a version is around the surplus amount. On the 10th of June in the public
[18:19]
council meeting, we improved the, or there was a discussion with the surplus funding in the amount of around
[18:24]
$535,000. That surplus amount in this particular memo. That's including HST to $535 KV. In this
[18:34]
memo, it's $863 plus HST, so that's $300 KV plus more in plus HST. Just wondering what the
[18:41]
explanation is on the difference in both methods. Thank you, Councillor Vaders. I'd like to see you on
[18:47]
a good application. Chris can like write more. It's immediate, but when they actually did the
[18:52]
product of fortune-focusing, we tried to see how far we could go. There was surplus there as well. So
[18:57]
I'd like to go ahead and share. Thank you. A 100,000 would have been a 100,000. We initially
[19:07]
had airmarked for water service services. That case is a 100,000 there. And we just got through the
[19:13]
progress claim. So there was quantity in the contract that we didn't have to do. It's also, I asked you
[19:18]
to start a sort of time letting all those to surplus. It really took a number of minutes.
[19:24]
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you, Councillor Vaders. That's five steps. It's a very
[19:29]
significant partnership. Councillor, it's worth it. Yes, thank you. You're worth it. With the work best
[19:36]
thought over there now, will this surplus see an addition to that role work best currently completed?
[19:42]
Okay, thank you. Councillor Crew. Santa. Santa. It's all right now. See you in the next
[19:49]
end of the limits. Then I asked the 12 points. You came out, wrote the original idea about it.
[19:53]
That's what I'm going to be saying. Thank you. That worked well. We don't miss your
[19:57]
early next year. Thank you. Thank you, Santa. Thank you, Santa. Thank you, Councillor Crew. Thank you,
[20:02]
Councillor Crew. Thank you. And for the question, Councillor Vaders. Thank you, Councillor Vaders. Thank you,
[20:05]
Councillor. Just to follow up on the work that will be completed, they should presumably
[20:10]
do work that's still remaining to be done. The sure will be done this year in terms of the
[20:14]
second lives of asphalt to the limits of what we're currently working on right now. Just go to it.
[20:20]
Thank you for the questions. See you now, I'll take a look. Bye, I'll just leave you.
[20:31]
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you, Councillor Vaders. Thank you. Thank you, Councillor Vaders.
[20:38]
Thank you. Your rush should. The first one here is related to a St. John's,
[20:47]
I'm sorry, Vanity St. John's, a member's resolution and legal all from the GM. Your rush
[20:52]
of Vanity St. John's is the regional economic development agency for the town of Paradise,
[20:57]
the city of St. John's, and the town of conception base out. It's gone by its members, members,
[21:03]
which includes the mayors of those three municipalities. The vitalism of Vanity St. John's
[21:08]
in state of your organization, Chau Hold and Anne, which in our meeting of its members,
[21:13]
not later than 15 months, after holding up to last preceding and you were leading. In lieu of
[21:19]
Daniel, General Meeting, the members, which are three municipalities, are opting to sign a resolution.
[21:27]
The resolution will meet the AGM requirement or the vital loss for Vanity St. John's
[21:33]
into will be made by September 30th upon approval from the three municipalities involved.
[21:39]
There are no financial implications associated with this resolution. And the resolution you
[21:44]
worship reads be resolved at the town of Paradise, endorsed the Vanity St. John's, members of
[21:50]
Resolution in lieu of Manage Intermediate, I'm sorry. We'll be by Councillor Vaders, seconded by
[21:56]
Divimaire Street, discussion, discussions, say none on favor. Hi. Hi.
[22:03]
Thank you. Thank you, Ourship. The second funnel in for tonight is regarding the September
[22:11]
Schedule for the Public Council and Community of the Holy Eons.
[22:15]
Your words are currently there are committee of the Holy Council meeting schedule for
[22:19]
September 23rd and September 30th respective. September 3rd is National Truth and
[22:24]
Reconciliation Day. So this meeting will have to be rescheduled. Also, as we know,
[22:29]
the general election is on October 2nd. As the committee of the Holy Meeting
[22:34]
on September 23rd will result in forwarding items for an decision to be made of the Public
[22:39]
Council meeting after the general election. It would make sense to end the committee of the
[22:44]
Holy Meeting, send a public council meetings for this term of council on September 16th.
[22:49]
The meetings will be convened after the general election and the new council is sworn into office.
[22:55]
There are no financial implications. The New Yorkshire Resolution reads be resolved
[23:00]
that the town of Paradise Council of the Public Committee of the Holy Meeting scheduled for
[23:05]
September 23rd, 2025. And the Public Council meeting scheduled for September 30th, 2025, Isogave.
[23:13]
Go to the council meeting. Second, if I can answer a curled discussion,
[23:17]
the council meeting will be on September 16th. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry.
[23:21]
The last meeting will be September 16th. This term of council.
[23:25]
Okay. Well, further questions? All in favour?
[23:28]
Hi. Hi. Thank you very much to you as well. Thank you, council meetingators.
[23:32]
Inics, we have planning and protective services.
[23:39]
Now's the lead. Well, David. Thank you, Russia. We start off with the Paradise Development
[23:44]
Regulations amendment number 30, 2025. And so back on information, the proposed Paradise
[23:51]
Development Regulations amendment number 30, 2025, which would change the zoning as 1641-7
[23:58]
tops well from commercial general to plant mixed-developing commercial in support of a development plan.
[24:05]
The purpose of the zoning adjustment from CG to PMDC is to align the zoning of two adjacent
[24:11]
sites, enabling the integration of flexible development standards supporting comprehensive
[24:16]
development and to facilitate a planned public road access. The subject site at 1641-7
[24:23]
tops a world, our commercial retail class will be re-selling from CG to align with the PMDC zoning
[24:30]
of the neighboring opting upon development area to the west. In summary,
[24:35]
rezoning the subject property from CG to PMDC would be in keeping with the community center
[24:41]
designation that wouldn't have required amendment to the municipal plan. The proposed rezoning
[24:46]
to PMDC corresponds with the overall concept plan for the area as established in the Paradise
[24:52]
Development Regulations, including these strategic road network, improvement to free access and
[24:58]
role connectivity. Also set a cost of the amendment including public notice for
[25:03]
transportation and registration area, the responsibility of sheet of funding. And your
[25:08]
worship the resolution when reading big resolved that the town of Paris adopted development regulations
[25:12]
amendment number 30, 2025, and to submit it for registration by the Minister of Municipal Affairs
[25:19]
and Community Engagement in accordance with the urban and rural planning at 2000.
[25:25]
We'll go to Councillor Coltty, second by Councillor Bainers,
[25:28]
discussion, Councillor Coltty, everything.
[25:31]
Can not just obviously, I would imagine some discussion had taken place on this particular item
[25:38]
at the complete at the whole level, and I think we look forward to get this approved,
[25:43]
so we can move on with the work and the construction all around the other site.
[25:48]
Thank you, Councillor Coltty, for the person to comment on favour.
[25:56]
Next year, your worship is an application has to receive for a home-based, inflatable rentals
[26:02]
business, pump off the fund, at 38-lanor drive. This type of business is considered a discretionary use
[26:09]
but in the residential meaning density zone in which the property is located. A notice of discretionary
[26:15]
use was advertised as for the general regulation section of 3.6, 3.3, 2, and 9.5 of the town
[26:22]
perilous development regulations 2016. One objection was received in response to Lino's
[26:28]
of discretionary use, who claims bills the business would create noise, disruption, and industrial
[26:34]
type traffic as well as city of precedent for similar businesses to operate from home. The complain
[26:39]
bills at this type of business is better suited for commercial zones. Town staff have considered
[26:45]
the objects as any term of the similar businesses have existed within the town with no complaints
[26:49]
being received. A commission has been included, which indicates that the business will be
[26:53]
monitored for one year, and officials are advised that the home-based business permit may be withdrawn.
[26:59]
And the recommendation or the resolutions for your worship is to be resolved, that the
[27:03]
application for home-based businesses at 38-lanor drive be it for some to attend conditions.
[27:09]
Okay, move the cash for quality, select a buy, cash for corail, a discussion,
[27:16]
that's mostly. Thank you, Yourship. Yeah, and I know this, I mean, it is here for approval,
[27:20]
but obviously that division that indicates that the business will be mounted for one year.
[27:24]
If we do see any negative responses coming back for complaints and that particular home-based business,
[27:30]
the government may be withdrawn. Okay, I think they give us both a new and longer questions on
[27:36]
paper, I'd like to share it in the next slide. And the last one, Yourship, this is an application
[27:44]
for approval in principle for a major impulse subdivision at civic 122-124, St. Thomas's line.
[27:52]
The applicant is proposing six single family new dwellings within the residential all-density zone,
[27:57]
a six proposed single-family dwellings area. It's also borough on the conservation zone.
[28:03]
And the resolution will really be resolved that the application S-2025-0124 approval will be
[28:09]
in principle for the post-infiltre subdivision consisting of six single family dwellings located
[28:15]
at a civic 122-124, St. Thomas's line. Could be a full subject to 10 conditions.
[28:21]
Okay, move the cash for quality, select a buy, cash for empire, discussion,
[28:27]
answer. Thank you, Yourship. I know I noticed a written down through the information
[28:32]
provided by the staff there. This obviously is a principle in principle only. So I will not be
[28:37]
considered as an approval development unto a sub-sharm as the development program has been issued
[28:42]
and all the requirements of this approval have been met. So right now, this is strictly
[28:47]
that approval was in principle only until they meet our big guidelines.
[28:56]
about a translator sorry, thank you, First.
[29:04]
But just a quick그 presente area, you'll be very interested to say that we have a good discussion
[29:10]
and the committee of all in this particular item, including a great discussion by Council
[29:16]
regarding sidewalks for this particular development.
[29:19]
And it's pleased to see that we have added that in as a condition.
[29:23]
We're a proponent of this provide sidewalks as part of the development for that.
[29:27]
Okay, thank you, finished a little bit of any further context.
[29:30]
And I am a Councillor for the crew.
[29:32]
Yeah, thank you.
[29:33]
I want to talk about this.
[29:34]
The same as Council of Vaders.
[29:35]
Well, I'll add on to say that there's also a argument here for some racial
[29:40]
illness facing the fall of a trail access that's going to come with that property to a future
[29:44]
trail behind on the chair.
[29:47]
Okay, thank you.
[29:48]
And, and, and.
[29:49]
Thank you, Councillor.
[29:50]
Through.
[29:51]
Don't forget comments.
[29:52]
Hold the paper.
[29:53]
Bye.
[29:54]
Bye.
[29:55]
Excuse me.
[29:56]
Thank you.
[29:57]
Thank you.
[29:58]
Thank you.
[29:59]
Uh, thank you.
[30:00]
If we go to public works, council will need to remove the smear worship. First memo tonight, the
[30:07]
worship is for a unified or separate liner tandem. It's the annual motor vehicle inspection.
[30:13]
It's a background here. It's a unit five. It was a 2019 freight liner tandem dump truck.
[30:18]
It was brought to the Caribbean company, limited for an annual inspection. An extensive amount of work was required.
[30:24]
Once the technicians started the aspect, it started the inspection.
[30:28]
We're serving company maintained communication with the town throughout all stages of the inspection process.
[30:33]
Issues were identified. The costs associated with the issues were approved to the staff's limits.
[30:39]
Job numbers 1 to 16 on a service order from Caribbean company were within the staff approval amounts.
[30:45]
There were two more jobs required to finalize the repair that exceeded staff limits.
[30:51]
Harvey's were approved to proceed because there was a potential fee of $1200 per day.
[30:57]
Associated with occupying a service pay and the cost of repairs would not exceed the cost of delaying the work.
[31:04]
And this stuff issues includes, but is not limited to the ABS warning lights, wheel seals, brake components, electrical system malfunction, air tanks, exhaust system and steering components.
[31:17]
The price breakdown by Harvey and company total 27,795 dollars in the 60 cents plus HST.
[31:25]
There are sufficient funds on there are transportation budget to carry out these repairs.
[31:30]
And you're worshiped the resolution reads, be it resolved that the town of paradise proved the invoice for repairs to unit five.
[31:37]
The 2019 freight liner tandem dump truck at Harvey and company eliminate in the amount of 31,964 dollars and 94 sets HST and clear.
[31:48]
So, okay, move the cash to our career.
[31:51]
Seconded by.
[31:52]
Give me a straight.
[31:54]
And you may add capital.
[31:56]
Now a good child on this one and committee to hold your worship force.
[32:00]
You know, we kind of got into the in the minutia of repairs and how if a machine is on the vein out the on the ramp.
[32:06]
There's a big machine.
[32:08]
A lot of work.
[32:09]
Of course, you believe in on the ramps with the costs associated to the vendor.
[32:12]
You know, put it back together, push it outside while they wait for us to give us.
[32:16]
Give the acknowledge with the move ahead of it work.
[32:18]
So, this one makes sense.
[32:20]
And of course, it is a 2019.
[32:22]
These trucks to use refury regularly.
[32:24]
They're crucial to the fleet so they have to be repaired.
[32:27]
Thank you.
[32:28]
Well, for the comments.
[32:29]
Oh, customer.
[32:30]
Thank you.
[32:31]
Just as a comment.
[32:32]
I had some questions on this one.
[32:34]
You made it the whole as the.
[32:36]
Invoisonary company.
[32:37]
Listen, this particular unit is a 2022.
[32:40]
I had some concerns with the rust and stuff that we've since learned that the memo was correct.
[32:45]
And this unit is a 2019.
[32:47]
2022.
[32:48]
It's for clarification.
[32:49]
Okay.
[32:50]
If you have some.
[32:51]
I've heard of patients.
[32:52]
Well, for comments.
[32:54]
Thank you.
[32:55]
Thank you.
[32:56]
Thank you.
[32:57]
Thank you.
[32:58]
Thank you.
[32:59]
I should be a subject.
[33:00]
This one here is a user 91, which is our case excavator.
[33:03]
Here's an undercarriage repair.
[33:05]
And your worship unit 91 is a 2013 case excavator.
[33:09]
It was brought to Brent tractor limited.
[33:11]
For a full undercarriage repair.
[33:13]
A detailed quote was provided to the town on April 17, 2025.
[33:18]
For twenty three thousand forty one dollars and fifty seven cents plus HST approval
[33:23]
to proceed with the repairs was granted at the public council meeting on May 15, 2025.
[33:29]
Under motion M 25.
[33:31]
That's one seven six.
[33:33]
During the repairs to dealer identified additional items that require replacements.
[33:38]
There were not in the original boat.
[33:40]
They include two track tensioners due to broken cold springs.
[33:43]
And there was some additional broken hardware.
[33:46]
Your worship the additional cost provided by Brent total six thousand four hundred ninety three dollars and forty three cents plus HST.
[33:55]
The new combined price will now be twenty nine thousand five hundred thirty five dollars plus HST.
[34:01]
There are sufficient funds under our transportation budget to offset the additional cost.
[34:07]
And the resolution really your worship be resolved at the town of paradise.
[34:11]
Proceed with the payment of both invoices for repairs that were carried out.
[34:15]
On unit ninety one or twenty thirteen case.
[34:18]
CX one forty five excavator by Brent tractor for the combined total amount of thirty three thousand nine hundred sixty five dollars and twenty five cents.
[34:27]
HST included.
[34:29]
So move.
[34:30]
Okay move.
[34:31]
Seconded by.
[34:33]
That's for our.
[34:35]
Discussion.
[34:36]
That's for.
[34:37]
I was not a good chat on this one.
[34:39]
Then we learned a little bit about our fleet and we had discussions about.
[34:44]
And there when it's when it's time to retire them from the fleets and of course, just a complex calculation of time hours condition repairs.
[34:55]
And of course, this machine here still has some vitality of that food even though it's the twenty thirteen unit.
[35:02]
So so and of course, another one of those items when it's in for repair things kind of on earth themselves that need to be followed up on repair.
[35:12]
That's.
[35:13]
I'm happy to support this for course.
[35:15]
That's good.
[35:16]
Thank you.
[35:17]
Councilor.
[35:18]
Thank you.
[35:19]
Thank you.
[35:20]
Just as it just as a comment.
[35:21]
I was pleased to see this.
[35:22]
You want to actually work in the lead.
[35:24]
Do some teaching and twin book drive.
[35:27]
So what they see it back in order.
[35:29]
Okay.
[35:30]
They do.
[35:31]
I'm trying.
[35:32]
For the comments.
[35:33]
Same.
[35:34]
It's in a favor.
[35:35]
All right.
[35:36]
Great.
[35:37]
Thank you.
[35:38]
Great.
[35:39]
That.
[35:40]
Thank you.
[35:42]
Thank you.
[35:43]
I'm.
[35:44]
Thank you.
[35:45]
Thank you.
[35:46]
Your.
[35:47]
I think a couple of items.
[35:48]
Just want to wish to do it with support since and.
[35:52]
School staff estate with the doctor of in funds for the year.
[35:55]
Well, it's great that we have school wasn't our channel now that has a camera on it.
[36:00]
I'm hopeful that also programs get to resources and things off.
[36:03]
It's a lot of that there will be more.
[36:06]
To our.
[36:07]
We'll.
[36:09]
And just want to ask for our service to be patient and be aware of his kids are getting back.
[36:13]
Founder, you know, in school notes that are probably not aware of, you know, far and walk outside.
[36:18]
Walk and stuff to go school with their friends.
[36:20]
And.
[36:22]
Yeah.
[36:23]
It is it for me.
[36:25]
Okay.
[36:26]
Thank you.
[36:27]
Nice to meet you.
[36:28]
Thank you.
[36:29]
Thank you.
[36:31]
Thank you.
[36:32]
Thank you.
[36:33]
Thank you.
[36:34]
Yeah.
[36:35]
It's a lot of people I don't even.
[36:37]
I guess that go.
[36:38]
The university's comments four kids are back school.
[36:41]
And I think I said this every September was something on Council and, of course, it'll ended for the last 40 years.
[36:47]
But those are 40, since I've been out of school, I mean, that is a.
[36:50]
So everything except 10.
[36:52]
Rolls are, I think, and I got to go back to school.
[36:54]
So.
[36:55]
So I still feel that still still still still, they don't still re-lead to me today.
[36:58]
But wish.
[36:59]
What's the great summer.
[37:00]
Lots of great.
[37:01]
To I know that I was out of a couple of tournaments.
[37:04]
the weekend, up at Peter very tough, but the game's there. Of course, soccer, all summer,
[37:08]
kids got a transfer from being out and the daily basis and staying up late and getting
[37:14]
up late and going to all the fun games, and I'll get back and focus it in on school. Of course,
[37:21]
we've taken a lot of the town is taking a lot of measures here. We've got some signs around the
[37:25]
high traffic areas, the crossing guards are back out, signs are all up and letting people
[37:32]
full motorists now, because we know that a lot of traffic congestion, that's definitely my street,
[37:37]
it says it around the school areas, and a lot of congestion and certain timelines on top of
[37:42]
the road and stuff people in and out of town. Again, a little bit of extra time patients,
[37:46]
when you're behind the wheel, go along. Absolutely, thank you very much for the safety moment. It was
[37:51]
brighter than the year. Yeah, yeah, it's an increase. This bridge on the bus in the river over and
[37:56]
size it and talk about the game. You know, there are banners. Thank you, Ourship. I think that
[38:02]
September, Pitties and Rio for everybody. Take that. First of all, you're worse with it again. I'll
[38:12]
repeat what Ourship said. I want to welcome the L.A.S. Labor Party back to school, students, parents,
[38:18]
teachers, administrators, sports staff. It is that time of the year when, you know, it's almost like
[38:25]
a refresh in some respects, especially for those who are in the school system. So I'm welcome all
[38:30]
back in which I held the safe and promising school year. Also, Ourship want to acknowledge
[38:40]
all those people who put their name forward for the municipal government. I'm going to go through
[38:46]
all the lists because it's still growing lists at this point in time. So I want to certainly
[38:52]
acknowledge and wish all of them very less. Third item here, I just want to say,
[38:59]
you're sure to, uh, congratulations. Thank you. On your parental language. Thank you. And the
[39:06]
form of the final thing. Welcome back to Ours Team Club. Me too, very much. Yeah, Councillor Goldey. Thank you,
[39:18]
Thank you, Ourship. And I'm not going to reiterate all the comments and the school openings.
[39:22]
But I certainly wish everybody staff, teachers, kids, everybody is safe and successful. School year for
[39:28]
2020, 25, 20, 26. And on that note, as we all know, the election is just around the corner as I
[39:36]
comment. I just want to say a few words here tonight in the public with respect to the election and to my
[39:42]
terms of service here with the town of Ferris. First elected to council in 1993 up to 2025,
[39:50]
to say the least has been quite a journey. 32 years has certainly skipped by without even realizing
[39:55]
32 years have gone by. Having served an council for a consecutive terms has been nothing more than
[40:03]
a journey. Having served in the capacity as Councillor and Deputy Mayor, I have had the privilege
[40:08]
and honor of representing the residents of paradise with freight pride and dignity with the sense
[40:13]
of accomplishment for the fast 32 years. I have been given the opportunity of representing every
[40:18]
department of council, planning and development, engineering, recreation, finance. Together with
[40:25]
representing the warm and more committee, I am seeing the warm, more of ceremonies for many years,
[40:30]
which was certainly a great pleasure. And I look forward each year, year after year, to the November
[40:35]
of the 11th and to the July 1st, ceremonies. Representing the various schools, councils to know
[40:41]
what these staff have shown councils, and having been elected as the having undirected for the
[40:46]
ministerial assessment agency for many years was a privilege and an honor. Being the town's representative
[40:52]
and chairperson of so many committees was truly an honor and a privilege. I have had the pleasure of
[40:58]
sitting in council with the four mayors and many many councilors over the past eight terms of council,
[41:03]
too many councilors too, even for mention. I have had the privilege and the honor to work with
[41:09]
so many breadable staff at the town. Some of whom I will never forget. Over the past 32 years,
[41:15]
I have had the opportunity and honor to be a part of council in the many accomplishments we have
[41:20]
mastered and brought to fruition, all of which I take great pride in. And in particular, and just
[41:25]
to mention a few, the water and source services and that priorities that we have established many
[41:30]
years ago were already in the structure. The Paris Youth and Community Center in which I was
[41:35]
a major part on three or four different committees involved with the construction of that building over there.
[41:40]
The dollar-wise conflicts, the Vardier Crabment and of course the Paris Prax, just to mention a few,
[41:45]
and I could go on and with respect to the accomplishments here in the town. Which such a major
[41:51]
accomplishments I take great pride in a sense of achievement and accomplishment in all that has
[41:56]
been achieved over the past 32 years. I can truly say that I am humbled and honoured,
[42:01]
having been a member of council and a team player to have witnessed such tremendous growth and development
[42:06]
over the past 32 years. Tonight marks the end of one era in the beginning of the next journey.
[42:12]
As the election is on the horizon, I am taking this opportunity to announce that I will be
[42:17]
not considering a military council, but want to take this opportunity to take off council
[42:22]
of the incredible staff that I had had the pleasure of working with over my eight terms on council.
[42:28]
And especially thank you to all the residents of Paris who have supported me in every election
[42:32]
who put their faith and trust in me to represent them as their council and parodies. For that,
[42:38]
I will be forever grateful. Thank you so so much for all the support and encouragement during my
[42:43]
terms on council. This will always be remembered. To my family, my husband Greg and my son Greg
[42:49]
for their ever-ending support and encouragement over the years,
[42:52]
bobbing off to committee meetings, council meetings and everything in between for three to four nights
[42:57]
a week, every week and for that I am truly grateful. I'm looking forward to my next chapter with
[43:03]
my husband and son and spending a lot more quality time with family. Thank you to each and every one of
[43:08]
you and to all the incredible staff for your support, the well wishes and the converts over the past
[43:13]
month in keeping in touch, as my husband will be cooperated from major surgery. Each phone call,
[43:19]
all the messages, all the emails were so gratefully acknowledged. And thank you for that.
[43:23]
I certainly want to wish all council very best in their election campaign and good luck to each and
[43:29]
every one of you being reelected to say that I will not miss the campaign trail. I will be totally lying.
[43:36]
And I know thank you once again to all council, our staff and all the residents and my
[43:41]
supporters in putting their trust in me, along my journey, you will never know, but I might
[43:45]
very well write a book when my retirement year. Thank you very much. Thank you ever.
[44:11]
All the council that I've met over the third two year term, all the mayors and foreseller.
[44:16]
Mayer today, Mr. Dan Barbados, it certainly has up to them. They're certainly and to
[44:21]
Lisa, who keeps me in the loop, she kept me completely posted while I was offered last number of weeks
[44:26]
when all the ins and outs of council, the fires and the gold, what was happening with staff and with council
[44:31]
as a whole. I was reading all the minutes and all the information that provide us all on
[44:35]
stenties for that and that not want to say thanks again to everybody. Thank you very much for
[44:41]
years of service to you. Thank you very much. I've seen so many many changes and I remember
[44:50]
prayer days well being a high quality job at best, three years ago. But you know, we've grown a lot
[44:56]
and we still got a lot of problems to do, obviously, you know, I will.
[45:00]
All right, thank you, thank you. Thank you. Thank you, Senator. Thank you very much. Thank you.
[45:15]
Thank you.
[45:28]
I have a whole lot to remind residents that tomorrow is a big day here in the town.
[45:33]
Of course, right across the problems, kids back to schools.
[45:35]
You know, take extra few minutes.
[45:37]
We've got some destruction and a goal.
[45:39]
We'll try to figure out the kids going back.
[45:41]
You can most of the parents want to drive their kids tomorrow.
[45:44]
They've got seems to be routine.
[45:46]
And just like to say, thank you to all the candidates.
[45:49]
Put your name forward.
[45:50]
Not only in Paradise, but you know, right across Canada.
[45:52]
It takes a lot.
[45:54]
But you heard how to put my name on here, and oh, before I can do it again, and I hope I can
[45:59]
back and counsel in one time and continue working.
[46:04]
Thank you.
[46:05]
Thank you, Pastor.
[46:06]
Thank you.
[46:07]
I'm very.
[46:08]
Again, you know, kids go back to school.
[46:12]
I hope everybody's taking the beats.
[46:13]
We're here.
[46:14]
We, uh, just, just really good.
[46:18]
to expand the, I guess, and to CBS out there,
[46:23]
it's still in another state of emergency.
[46:26]
The other main break, and that's the thing that, you know,
[46:29]
obviously we can do, we'll reach out and we'll see it,
[46:32]
I would like to reach out to the CBS, the O2,
[46:36]
and this is anything we can do to help them out out there.
[46:40]
For short, as it says, you know,
[46:43]
that we sold it after another, so it's something else, so time.
[46:47]
The other thing, this Councilor Major has mentioned it,
[46:50]
and the official candidate for the Liberal Party,
[46:52]
the plan of the Labor Board, or Council of Paradise.
[46:55]
I look forward to getting out there at night,
[46:57]
and doors in that Council of Paradise.
[46:59]
And yeah, so this could be my very last meeting.
[47:04]
So I've enjoyed working with each and every one of you,
[47:07]
and the past councils, and all staff as well.
[47:10]
So then I'm under the red drop.
[47:13]
I'm sorry, I might see that that time.
[47:16]
So what else to be here until then,
[47:18]
and that doing with issues, as we do,
[47:21]
what are the daily basis, so it's making me much everyone.
[47:24]
Do it work with all of you.
[47:26]
Take care.
[47:27]
Congratulations.
[47:28]
Thank you.
[47:29]
Congratulations.
[47:30]
Thank you.
[47:31]
Thank you.
[47:33]
Congratulations.
[47:34]
Thank you.
[47:35]
Thank you.
[47:36]
Thank you.
[47:37]
Thank you.
[47:38]
Thank you.
[47:39]
Thank you.
[47:40]
Thank you.
