We'll jump right in with the consent [0:27] agenda, which few items on here, including our January 20th, 2026 regular [0:32] city council meeting minutes. J February 4th, 2026 special city council meeting [0:38] minutes. February 4th, 2026 city council work session minutes. Request for street [0:43] closure for from the community education coordinator. Resolution 26-09, which is [0:48] accepting February donations. request from the Pine Fire to re relief [0:53] association for a temporary liquor license in June and request to approve [0:58] emergency management director and deputy director position. I'll take a motion to [1:03] approve. >> I'll move the consent agenda. [1:05] » I'll second motion a second. Any questions? [1:09] Hearing none. Delena. >> Yes. [1:12] » Bolton. >> I. Randy, [1:14] » hi. >> And David will be I. [1:18] » We'll go into our public input section. We'll give two minutes again. [1:25] We usually do. Um, maybe come up and introduce yourself and [1:30] list your address and we have Suzanna Blazic as our first speaker. [1:37] » Good evening. >> Good evening, council members. I'm [1:41] Susanna. Don't leave this off. 1350 Cali Road [1:46] Southwest. [1:54] » Hello. Hello. This works. There we go. Okay. [1:57] » Can everybody be started, please? >> Okay. Thank you. Tonight, I want to talk [2:02] to you about leadership in a community poll. First, leadership. You have been [2:06] elected by us. We trust you to make decisions that represent our collective [2:11] voice and serve our best interest. Being a leader means sometimes making tough [2:15] and unpopular decisions. When those moments come, it's absolutely essential [2:18] that you do two things. First, share your vision clearly and broadly and [2:22] enable us to understand the why behind the decisions. And second, guide us [2:26] through the changes with patience, empathy, and transparency. Doing this [2:30] builds trust and unity. Yet, what we've heard so far about the Project Skyway [2:34] Pine Island data center is vague and unsettling. In a personal conversation [2:37] with a council member, we learned that the vision for Pine Island is to grow to [2:41] 10,000 residents. Why? The only real answer we've received so far is growth. [2:47] Again, why do the residents want this? Moreover, rather than engage us [2:52] patiently, you have told us what is happening without much room for [2:56] dialogue. If the elementary school can email me 13 times per week, you, our [3:01] most important leaders, should be able to inform us transparently and [3:05] respectfully about one of the largest data centers in the country. As our [3:08] leaders, you hold a position of great responsibility, and we hold you to [3:12] higher standards. It is your duty to be kind, patient, and empathetic. We don't [3:16] have all the information, and quite frankly, neither do you. So why aren't [3:20] you holding our hands, standing with us, walking us through this process, [3:25] building trust instead of suspicion? Which brings me to my second point, the [3:29] community poll. We've talked with friends, neighbors, parents, and [3:32] residents. Based on those conversations, we believe about 80% of the residents [3:36] oppose the data center. However, the same council member I mentioned before [3:39] said you think the opposite. That 80% support and only 20% oppose. This [3:44] disconnect is troubling. Decisions this significant cannot rest [3:48] on belief. They require clarity and democratic input. I'm asking you to [3:52] please hold a communitywide poll asking every resident what they want. I offer [3:57] my experience. I've spent two decades working with large-scale representative [4:00] survey data. We have the need. We have the tools. And we can and should run a [4:05] fair and transparent community poll. Thank you. [4:18] Welcome, sir. >> Good evening, everybody. Um, [4:24] just before the February 4th tax abatement hearings, Elizabeth Howard [4:29] accused me of presenting misleading tax impact numbers. I then listened as she [4:35] and other city officials spent 40 minutes overwhelming residents with [4:40] information that obscured the true cost of abatement requested by Ryan [4:44] Companies. I call that a snow job. An abatement never creates property tax [4:50] revenue. It is money the city chooses not to collect, shifting the burden onto [4:57] local taxpayers. Every dollar the developer does not pay [5:02] must be paid by residents and local businesses. Payments were meant to help [5:07] new or struggling businesses, not to subsidize corporations with vast [5:12] resources. A multi- trillion dollar corporation is not needy. [5:18] To make this clear, here's a simple math problem. [5:22] Ryan owes a city 167 million. Instead, Ryan pays 131 million, gives 3 million [5:30] to the community and 23 million to the schools. How much did Ryan not pay the [5:35] city? 167US [5:39] 131 equals 36 million. [5:44] Poundland just gave away $36 million, a 22% property tax break for the benefit [5:51] of a trillion dollar corporation. residents and local businesses will make [5:56] up that $36 million through higher property taxes. [6:01] It is unbelievable to me, but it happened. After the herring, even Ryan [6:08] companies acknowledged that the data center developer likely Google [6:14] should not have requested this abatement just as Microsoft has stated is the [6:19] right thing to reuse local property tax abatements. [6:25] Thank you, [6:30] » Mr. Shuy. That name for Evan. [6:34] Welcome, sir. >> How you doing? [6:38] » Uh my name is Matt Shuddy 300 Kenny Court Southwest in Pine Island. Um I'm [6:43] just here in uh representing the Independent Order of the Oddfellows. Um [6:49] a lot of you might not have even heard that it existed. I didn't either until [6:53] somebody suckered me into it. Um but anyway, I've learned a lot um since [6:58] joining a year ago. Um we currently um we've increased the membership um to 12 [7:05] members and several have inquired since then. Um it was kind of an organization [7:11] that in town was kind of uh just sitting in limbo and so we're kind of [7:17] rejuvenating it. um the the Oddfellows the idea is to give back to the [7:24] community and we are um kind of uh we're we're slowly working on ideas working [7:32] with other organizations like the Lions Club, like the Legion to um do some [7:37] different things for the community, do some fundraising things like that. Um [7:41] but um with that, we also had a lot of updates to do. Um we have um we are we [7:49] own a the Oddfellows owns a building in town here that needed a lot of updates [7:54] and so through the help of the state um Oddfellows organization we've been able [8:00] to get secure a loan to get some things done. So we've had there was a lot of [8:04] water damage. We've got new roofing. We've got we've done a lot of work to [8:08] the inside. Um, and so we've done some repairs to the post office that rents [8:15] from us. And, uh, so kind of our goal is to get the front of that building [8:21] looking like a like a new old building. And so it's it's getting there. And uh, [8:29] and so anyway, I just wanted to stop in and um, let you know that it exists. And [8:35] if anybody's interested or you know somebody's interested in giving back to [8:38] the community, come come reach out to us. Thank you. [8:42] » Question. >> Yeah. [8:44] » So is that uh is the post office going to be expanding into that part of the [8:49] building? >> Um we're we're looking into the [8:51] possibility. Yes. So that they would have more space um yet not taken away [8:57] taken away from the current space that that a future business can have. So Yep. [9:04] Right council, we're going to jump into [9:09] administration. I think this is the shortest administration. [9:14] » Should we have here? We have s one application for private by manual. [9:19] » Say that. [9:23] » Yes. Thank you. >> Uh so in your packet, you have an [9:27] application from Thriving Financial or Jeff Lommy. Uh what they're looking to [9:31] do is do some tuck pointing on the front of their building. There should be a [9:34] photo in the packet as well showing some issues of the cracks in the in the brick [9:38] work on the especially the second story there. Um they have a quote for $12,500 [9:44] uh to do the tuck pointing and they're requesting $2,500 for the facade loan [9:48] program that the EDA runs. The EDA has voted to approve this and the next step [9:53] is just to bring it to council to get your final approval so that we can move [9:57] forward with this loan and they can get to work on that brick work. [10:01] Is this company the same the one that did the lens? [10:04] » Do you know? >> I don't know that. [10:06] » What's the name? >> Quality restoration all masonry. [10:11] » Yes. >> Okay. That's what I think. That's what I [10:13] thought. Same company. >> I remember correctly. [10:16] » Okay. [10:19] » Um >> and this is just like the odd fellows. [10:23] Right. >> Yep. Yeah. Exactly like the odd fellows. [10:25] So they would get the $2,500 then it' be forgiven over fiveyear period. Yep. [10:31] » Retain billing. >> Um I'll move approval for the facade [10:35] loan application for private. >> I'll second a motion is second to [10:39] approve the sad [10:43] » which had very nice building. So >> any other questions for [10:50] » Hearing none. Delena >> Iton. [10:53] » Hi. >> Vernon. [10:54] » Hi. >> Brandy. [10:55] » Hi. >> I thank you. Thank you. [10:59] » Let's jump into planning commission which is resolution 26-10 approving the [11:03] plan third preliminary flat taking this one right [11:13] » I can start out on this one Mr. Mayor. Um, [11:15] » thank you. >> So, we received back on January 5th um [11:18] an application for preliminary plat um from Big Low Homes for Pine Prairie [11:23] third edition. Um this is an extension on to um Elkrun Drive Southeast um down [11:29] by the elementary school. It's that northern road in that development. Um [11:33] it's the development continuing north. Um so it will be approximately 13.8 [11:38] acres. I believe roughly 28 lots would be created. Um it is currently zoned [11:45] agg. Um we're anticipating a reszone application being filed um to get that [11:49] updated to the correct residential zoning. We did receive that in the mail [11:53] today. Um so that will be good to go for the final plat approval um next month. [11:59] And then um we did have a public hearing on this [12:03] um with the planning commission back on February 10th. um notice was published [12:09] and mailed to all residents within 350 ft of the proposed plat. Um the planning [12:15] commission did approve that unanimously um to move it on to council. Um I can [12:20] pass it over to Craig. Um there are a few uh engineering conditions of [12:26] approval that we have in the uh resolution here for administrative ones. [12:30] Um we have like like most plats um we'll need a updated survey or title work um [12:37] for the county attorney or the city attorney to review um and then my other [12:42] um condition was the submission of that uh reszone which we did receive. So I'll [12:47] pass over Craig and he can kind of run through the engineering requirements [12:50] still. >> And this is on the east this would be on [12:53] the east end correct >> correct? [12:56] » Yep. On the north side of the waterway on the east east side. So, yep. Um, [13:01] mayor and council, good evening. Um, the couple of the conditions that I wanted [13:05] to outline and and Stephen hit on one of them and that was the reszone. So, [13:09] again, right now it is currently zoned agricultural. So, uh there'll be a [13:13] resone request with a final plat application and the uh the other one is [13:18] the u um in the uh report. It's number one. Currently, there's a 30-foot outlot [13:25] um on the west side of the uh of the uh property, and we're asking that to be 40 [13:30] feet wide. And what that would do is give us a little more room to um have a [13:35] connection. Um most of the time that would be used as a pedestrian [13:39] connection, but we are looking at an emergency access to from the school um [13:43] to this uh development here. So um so that would be a good point of [13:47] connection. Uh the developer Tony Biglo is here um with us tonight. So um he is [13:53] in agreement with that uh condition as well. Um the other um conditions are [13:57] just engineering related uh that um to submit with the final plat the final [14:02] plans and things of that sort. So um staff is recommending approval. [14:07] » Remember that that we're talking about what would that [14:12] look like? That was a question. >> Yeah. [14:16] » Yep. So it'd be a path. So, um, likely a 12t wide path and then there would be a [14:22] crossing over the waterway there, too. So, that would likely be a bridge [14:26] structure, um, over the waterway. >> The one right behind the track. [14:32] » Yep. So, it would go like um Yep. Just north of the track and then over on the [14:37] west side of the track, too. >> And Elizabeth and I did meet with [14:41] superintendent and and uh principal, too, to run through this idea and [14:44] they're um generally in favor of it. [14:50] Are you anticipating down the road? We be looking at any kind [14:54] of road >> out that way, right? Or [14:57] » Nope. Wouldn't be wouldn't be a road connection. No, but it would be um wide [15:02] enough and be able to uh that crossing would be able to um handle any sort of [15:07] um emergency access and vehicles. Yeah. >> Okay. [15:11] » Yep. And that's not anything that's being proposed as part of this [15:14] development. It's just something that we're [15:16] » looking for um for future connection. >> Okay. [15:22] Any questions? There questions for >> Is that ideally going to connect to the [15:27] out the sidewalk out at the the road? Um New Haven. [15:32] » New Haven. Actually, New Haven will have its own path that'll be constructed um [15:37] this spring. And so that will connect down into Douglas Trail and then over um [15:42] that there's a route over to the school there. [15:46] » So the path that comes out from like the bridge that's going to go potentially [15:50] over the back of the waterway and from the school where is that going to lead [15:52] to? >> That'll go into the school property. So [15:55] it'll go from the roadway, the sidewalk uh within the subdivision on the north [15:59] side into the school. >> Yep. Yep. And there would have to [16:08] Yep. And they have a path there now, but they're they they're looking at other [16:12] options as far as a parking lot and so that might um kind of in that northeast [16:17] corner there too, just throwing ideas around. [16:24] Okay. >> No. Uh but just Craig um sound like a [16:29] criticism. I don't mean it that way at all, but is it am I right? It's just [16:34] sort of the way the preliminary plat plays out is a little bit confusing the [16:37] way it's split >> as far as the street the sheet set. [16:41] Yeah. Yeah. The divide line. >> Yeah. Because when I looked at it before [16:46] now I'm looking at again going up and I'm just I take it you would have [16:49] figured out how >> y [16:52] » fair. Yeah. So I mean as long as you're comfortable obviously that's what [16:56] matters. It doesn't matter what I just picture dividing between the two sheets. [17:01] So but that's >> Yeah. [17:02] » So she [17:08] » right I'm figing that. [17:14] this down. >> He challenged the visual. [17:19] » Well, this will be an action item. Council, [17:22] » we had a discussion during the meeting too about the plan zoning for sidewalks [17:26] and all the subdivisions. So, Tony's aware of it. [17:30] Y [17:34] a motion to approve the uh resolution 2610 the Pine Prairie third preliminary [17:42] » I'll second a motion in a second on the resolution any other discussion [17:47] questions and thank you [17:53] » all right Elena Iton Ioni I David will be Okay. [18:01] Exciting. Keep your own. >> All right. We got public works and [18:06] engineers. Going to be a request to approve quote for the office for the [18:10] plan that is [18:16] needed. >> Uh good evening, Mr. Mayor and council [18:21] members. Um, I'm just here to ask for your blessings on getting this [18:29] uh long overdue [18:34] remodeling job for the out at the wastewater plant for the office. [18:41] Um, I am looking at um taking this out of [18:47] the 401 building fund [18:56] » and this would be because they included I've been in there a few times and it'd [19:01] be basically that room where your desks are right now. [19:04] » Yes. Correct. >> Correct. [19:05] » And then getting that revamped and give you guys some space. [19:09] » Yes. some space. Uh they're looking at uh right now three corner desks and then [19:14] uh uh some cabinetry around the along the east wall and then some upper [19:21] cabinets and then a a table out in the middle section for to maybe for meetings [19:27] and to eat eat at. >> Yeah. [19:30] » So >> Mr. Gak's the [19:32] » Yeah. Mr. Gadkkey is the one that's >> not as feisty as his dad because he [19:38] works. All right. >> So, during this remodel, we'll have to [19:43] work out of the garage. >> Yes. We'll probably be out of the garage [19:46] for a little bit. Um I uh had Bev come out uh today and he looked at what needs [19:54] to be done with that side of things. So, they're going to take care of that at [19:58] that time when he's there and they can get get to move whatever they need to [20:04] move. >> Okay. So, [20:05] » was there an estimate on how long it would take the project? [20:09] » No, he did not. Um, I'm I'm ex I'm I'm thinking it only maybe about 4 days to a [20:17] week. >> So, that's [20:19] » because he's going to have everything built prior and then he'll just move it [20:22] over. >> Oh, that'll be good because he's he's [20:25] come in and taken measurements and pictures and the whole nine yards. [20:30] » So, >> and Becom will have all the hookups to [20:34] » Yep. They'll do that at that time. >> Power then. Will that be in the right [20:37] spots for power? >> Uh, yes. And, uh, it we should be able [20:43] to get at it a little bit more conveniently now. So, we're set pretty [20:49] good with the power outlets and >> stuff like that. [20:52] » Just making sure you get what you need. >> Right. Right. No, it's a good question. [21:01] » Yep. So, um, typically it's pretty rare that we don't have more than one quote [21:06] before you. Um, the threshold for that is $25,000. So, this is below that. [21:12] Typically, we get two quotes just because due to the um nature of this [21:18] job, just because everything is custom um for that room, uh we decided just to [21:24] go with one contractor uh so that they could come in and and build the plans [21:29] custom to that facility. So, and then in the meantime, they will [21:33] be working out of the garage there. >> Um, I'll move the approval for the code [21:40] for the office remodel for the wastewater treatment plant. [21:43] » Second motion in a second. Any other question? What would be the time? Would [21:48] you or when would you want to start or get this? [21:51] » The sooner the better. Well, with weather coming on and you [21:56] know, hopefully it starts getting nice now and you know, it' be nice to get it [22:00] in between the snow and the rain and everything else. So, whenever it's [22:06] convenient for him, actually, so we'll work around them. [22:11] » Elena, >> hi. [22:14] » Vernon, >> hi. [22:16] » Hi. >> Hi. Thank you. [22:19] » Thank you. Right. Council, we got another [22:22] resolution before resolution 26-1 11 which would approve the street project [22:27] plans and ordering the bids. [22:33] » All right, mayor and council. So, this would uh set the bid letting date of [22:37] March 26th for the uh u upcoming street project. That would include uh Willow um [22:45] circle. Um it would include the um the water main extensions around that area [22:50] too. um and the sewer to ex um to serve the uh development and um also third [22:56] street first avenue and uh second street southeast. Um Main Street was included [23:03] in the original uh feasibility study and uh uh and the project um and that was [23:10] mainly because the county was planning to um construct that roundabout in 26 so [23:16] this year. Um then that got bumped to 27. Um but we were going to still [23:22] install the utilities. We've got some sanitary sewer that's aged. It's um it's [23:27] not able to be televised. So um there's um it's in it's in need of replacement. [23:33] Uh but in talking with the county, they feel it's better that that gets pushed [23:36] until next year when the uh roundabout project goes in and then the [23:41] reconstruction reconstruction of those two blocks from uh center street up to [23:46] second street will be completed next year as well. So um so in the resolution [23:50] you'll see that second whereas where it says we're looking at completing that in [23:55] 27 instead of this year. So would have been nice to get it done this year um to [24:00] put Todd's and many of ours minds at ease but um we'll we'll hope that it [24:06] hangs out for another year >> getting by the county. [24:13] » Yeah. And there was a a neighborhood meeting last Thursday night uh and some [24:19] residents came. Uh there was some discussion about sidewalks um that staff [24:24] will meet about and uh uh talk about right now. Uh sidewalks are in the plans [24:30] um except for except for in Willow uh because that's there's not an immediate [24:35] connection there to any other um sidewalk or pedestrian facilities. Um so [24:40] uh but in the the uh third street and first avenue area we do have them [24:45] currently designed on both sides of the street. So same as second. [24:49] » Have you been able to have any updates from the county regarding the bridge [24:53] project out there and what that might do to for [24:57] construction and those >> Yep. Yep. So they are going to they've [25:01] got a precon actually that's going to be in a couple weeks here next week or the [25:06] week after. So, uh, we'll go to that, but that will be, um, something that's [25:10] going to be done here this, uh, this summer. I don't remember the exact dates [25:13] of the closure, but it's, uh, sometime in May. So, they want us in there, um, [25:18] get the they're going to reclaim the the street and then the utilities would go [25:22] in and then they'd work on the bridge. Uh, so that detour will be set up all [25:27] summer. >> I believe May 15th was the date of the [25:30] closure. >> Yeah. Yeah. May [25:33] » probably >> and that bridge I think was going to [25:36] have a path on the inside the horse trail. [25:40] » That's that's my understanding. We'll find more out at the reconstruction [25:44] meeting. I believe it's next week >> with the county [25:47] » um on what their plans are. >> Yep. [25:52] » I don't know if you've talked to Adam and Danessa from the meeting at all. [25:55] » I have. Yep. >> Okay. [25:56] » Yep. because there were some discussions about you know like Willow Creek is or [26:00] Willow Court is not getting the uh sidewalk around their culde-sac because [26:05] there's culdeac nowhere to number three >> and then the discussion about the [26:11] sidewalk going down on one of the sides here [26:15] » there was concern about how close it was going to get and so Vanessa and Adam and [26:20] I talked a little bit afterwards that uh we're we're putting in a sidewalk [26:25] because there's kids and you know elderly that have to walk through there. [26:29] Yeah. >> You don't know who's going to own the [26:31] house down the road neither. So, >> right. [26:34] » Uh question would be is if they can't get it if it's too close to his house. [26:38] He was wondering about moving it to curbside. But, you know, and if we move [26:43] it to curbside, let's make sure it's like a 40 inch or something. [26:47] » Mhm. >> Or 48 in so that you can still put in [26:50] mailboxes at certain spots and they could still make a path down through it, [26:54] you know, for sidewalk and stuff and put enough slope on it, like a half inch or [26:59] more slope so that water stays off of it. [27:02] » Yeah. Yeah. We we did look at that um early on in design where um especially [27:07] on that far on on Third Street on the south end on the far west end. And so by [27:11] second avenue um that driveway is um that garage is very close to the right [27:16] of way. So >> there was concerns about that. So [27:19] » yeah, >> I want to make sure they got heard and [27:21] expressed your >> Yeah. So there are some some different [27:24] options there. But um you know, typical design is is sidewalk on both sides and [27:29] then it's really up to the council to decide if if it fits. And again, we'll [27:33] we'll talk to staff. We'll talk through it after getting their input and and [27:38] then uh determine if that should go in and bring that back to [27:41] » the St. Paul Church Lutheran Church here because they're [27:45] » talking of you know moving and putting a parking lot and all that stuff. So [27:50] » make sure you guys are in the loop on that. [27:52] » Yep. Yep. Very good. Mhm. [27:57] » Health otherwise it's afternoon. [28:02] » I'll move for resolution 2611 approving the street project plans and ordering [28:08] bids. >> I'll second motion and second for 2611. [28:14] Any other questions? >> Mr. Mayor, if I may, um I just want to [28:17] note that um we'll be considering the bids at a [28:22] special council meeting on April 7th. Typically, we would have a work session [28:26] that night and so we would be having a special council meeting April 7th at 6 [28:31] PM and then our work session would follow that. But I just wanted to note [28:34] that >> Delena [28:38] » Iton. >> Hi, [28:40] » Vernon. >> Hi, [28:41] » Randy. >> Hi, [28:42] » David will be I. >> Okay, thank you. [28:46] » Bob, we're in legal. We are in May. I want to say things, but I don't really [28:50] have anything to say other than I owe Elizabeth a easement on the North [28:56] Zombro sanitary sewer district that's going to be reported on tonight. And now [29:00] I've said it out loud, but I actually So there we go. [29:05] Painted myself in the corner. I have to turn that around. [29:10] » We go on the claims. >> I'll move [29:14] second motion. Second on claims. Delena. >> Hi. [29:18] » Hi. >> Hi. [29:20] » Randy, >> hi. [29:21] » Hi. Which brings us to administration. Elizabeth, if you want to give any [29:26] updates. >> Uh just that, you know, summer projects [29:29] are ramping up and so uh we're getting ready for street projects. Uh getting [29:34] ready for our two park remodels. And so we we had a meeting today to finalize uh [29:40] Trail Head Park and we had a meeting last week to finalize uh Collins Park. [29:44] So things are are looking good. >> Did we finally get final paper? [29:49] » No. So for Trail Head Park, we are waiting for the final grant agreement. [29:53] Uh so the state has the grant agreement. They have to send it to um NPS at the [29:59] federal level for them to sign off. It'll come back. We're expecting it um [30:03] late March. So it'll probably be be before you um in April sometime. So but [30:09] that's fine. We we met with our account manager with um game time who we're [30:13] ordering the equipment from and that timeline works for them. So Collins Park [30:17] will most likely be a late spring um remodel and then Trail Head Park will [30:24] probably be a late summer remodel. So we'll try to have them at different [30:29] points in time. They were busy over the weekend just they weren't see [30:41] » what is going on at the library. >> The library is all about one town and [30:44] one title right now. Uh we've got I think three books here, one book at DMV [30:49] and I think I've got two at the library left. So, if anyone still needs to grab [30:53] a copy of Give a Girl a Knife, which is our community read, we've got like five [30:57] or six copies left to give away. Otherwise, we can definitely uh request [31:01] them and get them checked out to them from another library. Um, but [31:06] programming has been going really well for that. We've had uh I think 10 people [31:09] at one event, 13 or 14 at the other one, and we had 10 people, which is like [31:14] three or four more than usual at book club this morning. So, yay. Um, [31:19] Saturday's program is all about jam making. We're having a jam making [31:22] demonstration. If you want to come, please do. Uh, if you want to come and [31:26] get a free sample of jam, let me know so I can get you on the list. Um, that'll [31:31] be at the United Methodist Church um at 2 2:30 on Saturday. [31:37] Otherwise, we have a wild rice presentation. It's basically talking [31:40] about the importance of the grain uh from an uh master naturalist on the [31:45] 26th. and that'll wrap up our one town, one title programming. So, lots of good [31:50] feedback that I've received on that. Otherwise, the book sale we did over [31:54] Winterfest almost made $400. So, thank you everyone for supporting the library [31:59] with both donations and purchases. And the other thing I just highlighted [32:04] with my report this month was just a snapshot of what I've done since the [32:08] last council meeting in the community. So, uh, we do a lot of behind the-scenes [32:12] work and I just wanted to kind of showcase just a little bit of that. So, [32:17] that's all I have for you. Do you have any questions for me? [32:20] » Were you happy with the uh cement work and all that that was done? [32:24] » The cement work? >> The ting? [32:29] » Yeah, that was last Yeah, we really appreciated that [32:31] » in the same company. >> Yeah, they I'm glad that they uh they [32:34] got the seal of approval. >> Yeah, wanted to make sure. [32:38] » Yes. So, thanks Thank you so much. >> Thanks, Rachel. [32:48] » What's that? >> Cookies. [32:50] » What [32:59] fire department is January record? [33:03] » 58. So, what do we ask? 89 90 91 [33:12] » keeps the trucks in shape. >> Mr. Mayor, if I could go back to public [33:16] works, I do just want to say um so I believe we did we finish burning the [33:20] brush dump. >> No. [33:23] » Okay. So, we're like 75% done, I would say, burning the brush dump. Um we know [33:28] it's kind of a pain in the butt. Sometimes there's smoky smells in town, [33:31] but it does save the city about $46,000 by earning that rather than having that [33:36] um chipped. So um we just want to thank residents for being patient with that. [33:40] » They won't need that much chips and grass. [33:45] » I do notice it, but that's okay. >> Yeah, [33:48] » it's nice you got the trees down. [33:52] » What? >> Oh, [33:56] » anything else? Otherwise, we are going to wrap up here. [33:59] » Move for German. >> Second. Second for German. All in favor? [34:06] I. >> Thank you everybody.
