[0:00] Reporting is going whenever we're ready.
[0:30] I don't want to know where we get sightsees.
[0:32] I just thought I would figure it out.
[0:34] Yeah.
[0:36] Oh my God.
[0:37] Glad to meet you.
[0:38] You caught me.
[0:40] But how in the world did he get my mother's maiden name?
[0:43] That was so weird.
[0:44] And shit.
[0:45] Too much on it.
[0:45] I must.
[0:46] I'm sharing too much on Tinder.
[0:48] Anybody?
[0:48] That's what it was.
[0:50] You're all doing it.
[0:51] Don't worry.
[0:52] It's me sitting right here.
[0:53] I'll put this in here.
[0:54] One round.
[0:54] No time.
[0:55] It was what.
[0:57] It was what.
[0:57] We don't have a number of ingredients here, so we have to provide, but as soon as we did over a bit, actually, I want to be able to say something five times.
[1:03] I just wanted to say, why do you say this here? What?
[1:07] Well, you know, if you're supposed to say it, it's a very important thing, so I can say it more.
[1:10] It's quite a such an important thing.
[1:12] Do you want me to email you?
[1:13] My plan is to do it on the same time.
[1:15] Let's get started, shall we?
[1:16] I just wanted to do an idea.
[1:18] There's nothing we need to do.
[1:20] Thank you.
[1:21] Bob Dalley is not here tonight, so I'm filling in for him.
[1:23] So we're going to start the Pine Valley Special Services meeting when stated August 12th, so we're going to start with the minutes.
[1:34] Did anybody have any changes or?
[1:37] I read the minutes and the only thing that I noticed was right at the very end.
[1:42] It's saying that this way there's going to be a disaster.
[1:46] Which should be in the 12th, so that was the last thing I saw.
[1:49] Okay, I'll change that.
[1:51] And I'm going to have a bit of a sec, because I have a day with this installation.
[1:57] Okay.
[1:59] Phase three, paragraph five.
[2:06] The
[2:17] chief party or the mark-ass.
[2:20] What's that?
[2:21] The paragraph above might be the chief party reported.
[2:25] It says going forward with water can we use drain grade?
[2:36] Okay. I'm sure that was a tight bulk.
[2:39] Yeah.
[2:43] Now we have any big sign.
[2:45] You know, I tend to catch that.
[2:48] I read that.
[2:50] I just knew it was time.
[2:51] I think just a period after playing.
[2:54] I believe which has a fine screen.
[2:58] Thank
[3:02] you.
[3:02] Thank you.
[3:02] Anything else?
[3:04] I have a motion to approve.
[3:06] We
[3:08] both should have good minutes.
[3:11] I'll second.
[3:12] All in favor?
[3:13] I agree.
[3:14] I have number three.
[3:15] I'm flooding and mitigation efforts.
[3:17] Mr. Owens.
[3:18] My dad is missing.
[3:21] Well, you have a certain tie on.
[3:23] We're on time.
[3:26] I'll
[3:30] start the clock and see going on right now.
[3:32] It will create that section of remediation.
[3:35] it is approximately 2,800 to 300 feet long.
[3:40] And I figure somewhere about 20 to 25 days more
[3:45] all you rip around in.
[3:48] Yeah.
[3:49] That's the rip around for all of the visitors.
[3:52] Yeah. So that area is called site number five.
[3:57] And once they repair that channel,
[4:00] then they'll start the lost compound there.
[4:03] and so their average amount of 100 feet a day.
[4:07] So they used to probably have three more weeks
[4:09] before they'd get up to the wallstops.
[4:13] There is six, which is behind the fire station
[4:16] that area has been completed, as well as site seven,
[4:20] the four site.
[4:23] There are plans into the board service,
[4:27] and to the NRCS to put four rock check dams,
[4:31] and I got a couple of head copies of a small range
[4:35] about the hage of mires.
[4:39] And they both object down to the sky,
[4:41] and they'll slow the flow through there.
[4:43] That would help significantly through the rest of the phrase.
[4:47] This would just be hage of mire.
[4:48] Yeah.
[4:50] And so that'll be presented.
[4:53] It's been given to the Forest Service,
[4:55] it just has reduced the highest level.
[4:57] I think we'd use onsite rods with this hand that it did in five years at education they
[5:05] had to be able to make that problem.
[5:08] So that's a great benefit to those owners in that area.
[5:15] Later on in the fall, I've only had one copy of this, but we just have to wrap it around.
[5:21] everything in the yellow is in a straw mold and that mold is being dropped by a
[5:32] hot counter and so you don't write in all the straw bombs. So these will be
[5:40] bales that wouldn't get the ground they explode basically and that's to help
[5:45] with the vegetation.
[5:47] That's an activity.
[5:49] Uh, you know, you don't want to get, uh,
[5:52] and it shouldn't be.
[5:54] It's not how you're checking that it is.
[5:58] Ask your a man must hit and killed.
[6:02] Yeah, that heads up.
[6:04] Yeah.
[6:05] So I'm, yeah, the family,
[6:06] I confess I don't give you the dates
[6:08] and I'll sit and look forward to it.
[6:11] Can we do some community information
[6:13] when you get the dates and advance
[6:14] such a bono.
[6:16] Yeah.
[6:16] And the Forest Service will hold on to one side sheet and frail, it's written out on the
[6:20] right.
[6:21] That's all on the nail.
[6:22] Yes.
[6:24] What else?
[6:28] I don't know.
[6:30] I don't know.
[6:31] I don't know.
[6:31] I don't know.
[6:31] I don't know.
[6:31] I don't know.
[6:31] I don't know.
[6:32] Yeah.
[6:32] I don't know.
[6:36] I don't know.
[6:44] I don't know.
[6:44] I don't know where it's at.
[6:46] I can't understand.
[6:47] Why?
[6:47] I've seen the incident.
[6:48] Yeah.
[6:49] Okay.
[6:49] Is this the first one?
[6:50] That's it.
[6:50] Somebody can answer this.
[6:52] Oh.
[6:52] You can ask Joe.
[6:53] She had, he's not something.
[6:55] Not that it used to be.
[6:55] It was supposed to be.
[6:56] It was supposed to be.
[6:57] It was supposed to be.
[6:58] It was supposed to be on the website.
[7:01] I don't know.
[7:02] Okay.
[7:03] See what I can do.
[7:05] There's a tree planting.
[7:06] Good times.
[7:07] Yes.
[7:08] There's a more, any other question from Guardian?
[7:13] Can we sit?
[7:13] it. Can I see it? I can make more copies of that that
[7:20] drains my power.
[7:24] Yeah, I'll ask you. Yeah, you don't have to know. Okay,
[7:27] that's what I'm going to do. I'm not going to have some of these areas behind
[7:31] things. Four, we are in here. They find it 67,000. You see these? See things. Next year,
[7:38] they will collect $2,000,000, where do they have $6,000?
[7:44] Yeah, at Gardner, that side, $5,000, $67,000,
[7:49] savings, and next year will be $200,000.
[7:56] So they manual and do that?
[7:58] Yes.
[8:00] So I would have been doing anything on sales.
[8:02] I would have been willing to do that.
[8:03] When she would have homes and gone.
[8:04] If you certainly your house is...
[8:07] You know, put a little bit of the back down there.
[8:11] Friendly reminder about the recording going.
[8:14] It's all right.
[8:18] Yes, it is.
[8:19] So far the beds of a paying $5 million was restoration of the back down area.
[8:29] And the family has been one.
[8:31] That's right.
[8:32] Running me from home to the home is a very good.
[8:36] So now we'll cover it down as you wash the one that goes right down with the hand ground.
[8:44] Yeah, yeah.
[8:46] The county is working out, but the county is going to remove it.
[8:50] There's a debris.
[8:51] Well, it's coming down together with large boulders.
[8:54] And that'll be added on the existing contract.
[8:58] It would prefer to take that as any change order, but the prices are not negotiable.
[9:03] for the new negotiated agreement, and they'll put it out in the bid.
[9:09] The intent right now for the inquiry is to take that agreed settlement up to the
[9:14] center pit for people to shoot.
[9:17] There's another alternative types and the next two seats are going to go where it goes.
[9:26] The center pit over by Grace?
[9:28] Yeah.
[9:29] I think it's difficult to get folks in there and you turn it out and you put them in.
[9:33] And I don't think as many people shoot there since they hated that.
[9:38] Well, it bypassed the gate, you can go around.
[9:40] You can drive the trip.
[9:41] Well, I guess I'd stop going back to that road one day.
[9:46] That's not good.
[9:46] Yeah.
[9:47] You just couldn't.
[9:48] It's a long road.
[9:49] I just couldn't just drive through that.
[9:51] It's a long road.
[9:55] And there's work being fully done.
[9:58] That's still under design.
[9:59] to take care of the central irrigation, and that's a rock terrain being
[10:08] rocked into there. They may have the blast, but they seem to salt down in there.
[10:16] I know it seems like a long time for a year, but it's actually pretty
[10:19] extraordinarily fast, but we're currently counting over to have this much
[10:23] already done one year. Yeah, it's been really important, you know,
[10:30] We are ahead of the curve.
[10:32] The stuff that is going throughout the state, you want to leave.
[10:37] What we incurred, even though it's dramatic, is small compared to what it entails.
[10:42] Well, that hurt when you get one going funding?
[10:45] No, because ours have been designated.
[10:47] Really?
[10:48] I mean, kind of a plan for the lake itself, when they're in light, they're going to start dams for it.
[10:54] We fill in the irons, depend on whether we constantly get back in there, it will never,
[11:02] you know, you continue to receive sediment in there.
[11:04] So they're not going to keep removing what comes in, they're going to go to the original
[11:09] volume with 70,000 yards and it will never be the same capacity as it was originally built
[11:15] in 1934.
[11:17] So it'll be about 80%.
[11:20] They've said a news article that will be 2013 before the reservoir will be done.
[11:27] Okay, anything else?
[11:30] I must say to you questions that anybody has.
[11:34] Okay, moving on item four is also Mr. Owens, next time.
[11:42] So being a member of the Divorce Committee you wanted to ask, you have a banner that's being made that's 4 feet wide, an 18-inch call, and I sent you each a compliment what that looked like, and those funds, and we've confirmed we have big trees in Canaveralville about buying these by-foot vinyl reciprocums.
[12:07] and so when we were asking for donations outside the gate, now outside the gate, there would be a better and if we could have used the counter the boards in a moment count for, say, four hours
[12:26] side meeting, something's that effect, because you could designate, we think we substantially
[12:32] increase the donations.
[12:40] No, we can't.
[12:41] And we have the same issue with the flags that we had to take the flags out of that entire.
[12:49] And what's in my wife's?
[12:51] It's in my wife's because it's been in my name and we wanted to get all the way away from
[12:57] that.
[12:57] So the VINMO account is now in a Pine Valley Special Service Districts name to Pine Valley Special Service Districts phone number and everything so that all feeds into the Pine Valley Special Service and then that feeds into when transfers happen they go to our checking account.
[13:17] So, when we were here, you too want to accept those donations and we write them a check.
[13:22] Don't you have a check again?
[13:25] The dinner committee?
[13:26] You just set up a memo.
[13:27] Why don't you just set your on them?
[13:30] You're asking those two days.
[13:32] You can set it up in an hour.
[13:34] Yeah, it's pretty quick.
[13:35] You can set it up in literally.
[13:37] If that's an option, then yeah, that sounds agree.
[13:40] I thought we were told that we couldn't move the flag money through this special service
[13:48] district that was not.
[13:51] That's why we chose not to do that.
[13:53] I don't know.
[13:54] I don't know what you'll say.
[13:56] Well, is the flag money an annual – no, flag to just what people don't need to us.
[14:02] Is that on a yearly basis throughout the year people are doing that towards it?
[14:07] You know, when we go out begging for funds,
[14:12] they then a few people will send us money through Venmo.
[14:16] I mean, not comparing the same thing in the back of it.
[14:19] This is a one-time request for a couple of hours.
[14:22] It's not an ongoing thing, but as a fallback,
[14:27] you've got to be pursued in Venmo for the dinner committee.
[14:30] And if that can't happen before Saturday, then...
[14:35] I just don't know that we can do that.
[14:40] I don't know.
[14:41] No.
[14:41] Do you guys know?
[14:43] No.
[14:43] I don't know, but I don't know.
[14:44] I don't know.
[14:45] You sure?
[14:45] And I don't remember policy procedure for habits that...
[14:48] but it just seems like funneling anything of private ordination through the special service
[14:53] strictly.
[14:55] Conveniently.
[14:55] Yeah.
[14:56] I don't know.
[14:57] I'm not going to be late.
[14:58] They told us for the...
[15:00] We could collect money as long as it was outside the gate. And so it will help. And I can tell you that it was cash. I didn't come to the SSG. My wife, I'm out there, and there were some people that wanted to do vent, no. She says, already, I know you said it to me, and trust me, but I'll give it to the right place. And then we just, we just got the cash and gave it to them. Is it just a matter of knowing on your committees, familiar with Vendor?
[15:30] Well, not a lot of water, the use of the, it was never suggested any need about creating
[15:37] their own.
[15:37] Because I don't.
[15:40] No, I don't.
[15:41] Pretty simple.
[15:41] I mean, Rick or I could help you.
[15:43] Somebody help me to volunteer you, but I'm personally uncomfortable with this because I don't
[15:50] think we should succumb English.
[15:52] I've never used the word.
[15:54] No, I don't.
[15:55] All right, but I'm not going to cast last year, but with all that money here to be happy about it.
[16:00] Well, I feel the same way because I think I've learned more, I think we're more of a public service people than the data community has.
[16:09] I was just, you know, set up years ago to raise, I felt the gear.
[16:15] I don't know if you have, you know, we have a children have any special license in the county.
[16:22] I don't know.
[16:23] No, there's no pushback on this.
[16:24] Yeah, no, I just think it'd be easier to just try and sail on it.
[16:29] Or if you trust somebody, you send it to their personal bed mode.
[16:33] And then ride you forward, because you get a report.
[16:35] What goes here?
[16:37] Terry.forge, so whatever, yeah.
[16:40] What it was?
[16:41] I don't know, something like that.
[16:43] Your talent at Lynn Pekeson.
[16:46] Yeah, you did that.
[16:47] Where do I want to be?
[16:48] And you know, Courtney Snowman Brats to hear the sirens on the.
[16:51] Yeah, could go to either one of theirs and they could print it out and you could see every single donation then it could go right
[16:59] Yeah, you don't want to use cherries kind of goes to Florida first. Yeah
[17:03] Thomas to this Thomas defendant. Yeah, the name that she uses over there
[17:11] Allen you
[17:12] Feel the same you have any? Yeah, no, I think it's easy enough to
[17:17] Okay, let's move on number five chief Hardy
[17:23] So in the packet, we have a report for the month.
[17:25] The unit has questions on.
[17:27] The report is put out.
[17:32] I would say that this week, we hit 90 costs so far this year.
[17:38] It wasn't that long ago when we had many fallouts in the whole year.
[17:42] Not so long ago.
[17:44] A month or so ago, Rob, no dining, but the stats.
[17:47] and we were less 58% over over two years ago in this year, we're about 37% over the last year.
[17:55] So our members, just people, and not lots and a lot of adults.
[18:00] We did major maintenance on our two structure engines, in 141 and in 142.
[18:07] We've never done this the whole time. I've been on the department where we had
[18:17] all that kind of stuff. He actually found filters in 142 that were the original filters from
[18:24] Lim, the machine built in 2006, because we have the time the date stamped on the filters.
[18:31] So like the transmission oil filter, the cabin air filter, those are two of me. So was it
[18:39] still oil or just slightly. He actually, we actually changed the, normally they don't change
[18:45] to do the flush of the radiator because this maintenance is a technique for like a yearly thing
[18:51] and most of the new engines have, and it basically doesn't actually flush for like 10 years.
[18:57] So they don't incorporate that into their normal maintenance program. So we had to do it
[19:02] especially for engine 142 because nobody knew when the last time it had been done
[19:07] and I guess there's an organic base in the solvent that starts to break down after it gets sold
[19:15] And he said that the coup into the 142 was getting pretty slugged.
[19:19] So it was really a good thing that we changed that up.
[19:22] It cost public close to $1,000 to do that.
[19:25] He went over both engines with a fine tooth comb.
[19:29] And he said, you know, 142 is a great ship.
[19:32] He said, you've got another 20 years into this in easily.
[19:37] And we've had the fun years and it's got 7,000 miles off.
[19:41] So, when it's the toy, when it's the $40,000, $50,000 monolot.
[19:46] Yeah, it's only $1,000, you put it all up, say, do you know what I mean?
[19:49] $7,000.
[19:50] I think that will be a great piece for somebody.
[19:53] So, both engines, he said that take care of $1,000,000,
[19:57] and just be careful with it, it should last until he,
[20:03] afford to do something else.
[20:05] So, this major, you told me, this major,
[20:07] May they see only that in over five years?
[20:10] Yeah, well on regular departments,
[20:12] it runs the vehicles every day.
[20:13] Time things, it's going to be like a yearly maintenance.
[20:16] Yeah, but for us, it's going to be probably on the every three
[20:19] to five year kind of things.
[20:20] So they find it.
[20:21] Yeah, probably over five years and so we'll do this.
[20:24] But I wasn't worried about the cooling on 141
[20:27] because we could choose out the radiator core
[20:29] and drink so much of that out.
[20:31] It's gotten you cool and thin.
[20:33] So normally, we had to add on the normal making maintenance
[20:36] was the flush rate in 1942, and then when he was trying to fire off the air dryer,
[20:43] one of the ones where we wanted it was so seized in there, he had to put a five-foot
[20:49] chisel bar on with his wrench, and when he woke it out of there, it actually broke the spindle
[20:55] part on the dryer. So it could just replace the cartridge, it could replace the whole dryer,
[21:01] so we had a little light dispenser in it.
[21:06] that it's longevity, that life's spending time.
[21:09] Yeah, so he said everything overalls in pretty good shape.
[21:13] Probably the next big thing we've got to look at on engine 141 are the brakes.
[21:17] He said if this were a regular kind of full-time department,
[21:22] he would say the brakes need to be done right now.
[21:25] But he says we'll redrive our sold-wheel.
[21:28] We can probably get by for a couple more years with the brakes we've got.
[21:32] But that's a $6,000 job to do the front brakes on it's $41.
[21:38] The rear brakes will replace the ears on it all.
[21:41] Yeah, they're bonded, or they're not this, so they break shoes.
[21:47] I don't know, so I'll leave it on it.
[21:48] It's going to be in it, coming on.
[21:50] It's heavy, heavy.
[21:51] It goes shells.
[21:52] It's what you have to do.
[21:53] So this is what he tells you.
[21:54] The front brakes are leaving over here.
[21:56] They usually shoot when we turn one out.
[21:59] We need to buy for a couple of years,
[22:01] but what I have to do today is we just need to keep up the maintenance needs, the engine needs,
[22:07] he says you can still get along. Did he put that in writing? Is it? Did he write that as part of it?
[22:12] No, because the challenge with the brakes with the old shoes is not so much that they were out,
[22:18] is that they're so old that they begin, they can once they heat up, they break apart.
[22:23] So, I mean, I would ask him specifically that question. I'm asking the paperwork,
[22:30] I haven't seen the paper, I've seen the price, but I haven't seen you on the top of the
[22:35] screen.
[22:35] Well, the challenge is, is a register print, if you lose a machine, you lose a machine,
[22:41] so whatever else happens with it.
[22:43] Well, he, Preston's pretty sharp, you told me we're okay on the register, but I'm weird.
[22:52] So 142, that was person in 2006, you recall, I mean, my
[22:58] We're on it. We're with the purchasing. That's brand new. That came in zero.
[23:05] And that's the end of the miles per year.
[23:08] It's put on the hatch and got a lot of miles off.
[23:10] I'll probably see you in the aisle.
[23:12] Three hundred.
[23:13] Yeah.
[23:13] Yeah.
[23:13] Yeah. Probably.
[23:16] Three hundred seventy five miles a year.
[23:18] Yeah.
[23:18] We were almost sisters.
[23:23] And those were used more than some of the stuff.
[23:45] So I would assume, but I don't know. I've asked for copies of the invoice.
[23:56] Yes, very
[23:57] One of them cost $6,070, and the other one cost $4,871.
[24:04] So $10,942.
[24:06] The base major made this was $3,700 per vehicle.
[24:10] And then you have the cooling flush on $141.142,
[24:15] which was supposed to be about another $1,000.
[24:18] Then we had to replace the air filter,
[24:20] mean the air drying unit, and all the labor involved
[24:24] in that on $141.
[24:25] So, I imagine 141 was sitting at the end of the 40s, the 7-hubbing
[24:31] and the end of 1.2.
[24:35] Yes.
[24:35] So, were there quotes solicited?
[24:39] Yes.
[24:40] And we were the other two companies that agreed.
[24:43] This didn't reach threshold for having the $1,000 getting
[24:47] most of the goods.
[24:50] And this is the company we have established relationship with.
[25:11] I just saw the bill that came down, and I saw the truck parked up at their sound.
[25:20] So your concern is that we may not have followed the policy?
[25:23] Yeah, I would think any time you've kind of been that kind of money
[25:31] Yeah, I'm just gonna pull it up here. We'll clip in
[25:38] you say 5,000 was the threshold
[25:42] I don't even have to look it up. I'm seeing about 5,000 was the threshold
[25:46] You know here that one unit was 6,000
[26:01] So the other question that goes along with that is the threshold for
[26:07] expanding or acquisition, if it's maintenance, does that fall under the bench that's just
[26:15] working?
[26:16] I know that if you have an established relationship with one, that is a caveat on one of them,
[26:24] purchasing policy.
[26:25] I know that it's important.
[26:26] This was a purchase.
[26:27] This was a new trend.
[26:29] I'm going to need it.
[26:29] That wasn't a buy.
[26:34] You still say everything about it?
[26:36] Oh, it is.
[26:37] There's no question about that.
[26:40] No, it's the purchases over 15,000 must have a purchase order and purchases between
[26:50] two and 15,000 purchase order sufficient terminology.
[26:57] Yeah, the only ones that needs multiple quotes is over 15,000 purchase correct and the
[27:05] together just as it in your budget for maintenance.
[27:08] And it is in the 20th, 30th, 30th, 30th, 30th.
[27:14] I'd still be getting to the best interest in the board
[27:16] to listen to polls whenever you're spending
[27:22] $3,000 or $5,000.
[27:28] So it's a guest practice rather than a policy procedure.
[27:33] Well, it's here talking chief about this particular service
[27:40] is something that we do every three to five years
[27:50] of the time you're spending basically $1,500 a year to maintain your machine.
[27:57] And we've been planning on this.
[27:59] We've been talking about doing this, making maintenance for about two years now.
[28:03] We've talked about finding how much we've cost and stuff and we've worked this into our
[28:07] budget for this year and our maintenance budget to do this with these machines in good shape.
[28:13] So this is something we've been planning on.
[28:15] This wasn't the spur of a moment time.
[28:17] I think it's been out of service.
[28:19] Is it considered a specialized vendor that does it?
[28:22] Or are there other people that would even
[28:25] could be available to provide the service?
[28:28] You could do that if you took the trucks somewhere
[28:31] and take them out of service for a week or two.
[28:34] That's the nice thing about Sid and his Martin
[28:35] is they have a mobile mechanic.
[28:38] He came up here with me over the course of two days.
[28:40] even though we get all the engines, we put it down here and we never really can put it out
[28:45] so it's made.
[28:47] We didn't have to leave the valley and all the expense, it's all that I'd say.
[28:52] But there are no other companies in Utah or Nevada that would come to find out in the
[28:57] service.
[28:57] I don't know, but I can't say absolutely there aren't because I haven't gone out looking
[29:01] for it to see how many companies would do that.
[29:04] But it's hard to get people to come and find out and do much of anything.
[29:07] and Simmons Martin has been really good about supporting me during this process.
[29:12] I know when we have the fire school,
[29:15] if there are people down there like the sale parties and stuff like that,
[29:20] and I'm actually talking to these guys before about doing maintenance.
[29:25] I mean, when I was in chief, we thought about doing this,
[29:29] but like I say, when you thought about $5,000,
[29:31] you only were basically a hundred thousand.
[29:34] You think twice about when you're going to do that.
[29:37] But, so, yeah, all the time I've been here, I've worked on that age of 1, 42, a number of times,
[29:43] chased a bunch of parts. Okay, stuff. And, like, somebody's actually becoming willing to come down and be
[29:48] that service. Then, go outside and get it. I just go all the night. Yeah. I know there are,
[29:54] there's a company in Salt Lake who actually presents it, we have our school.
[30:00] We've come down. We have all the travel. It's been come down from Salt Lake. Yeah. Well, these guys don't know the status. I was just a little bit. There was two other kids that say, okay, this one's 45,000. This one's 35. I mean, we had one for 10, 90.
[30:16] Okay. I think we look at that in the future. It's have them all. And it's also just good feedback to you. Well, you got a large purchase like that. Yeah, the board would feel better. There was other kids. Okay. Anything else?
[30:35] Okay, item six, okay, on the authorized access of the bank account, Rick and Terran.
[30:41] I've had the discussion once, so I don't know discussion again, but on 710, I discovered
[30:50] $10,000 was missing out of one of the special service district accounts when I discovered
[30:57] that $10,000 gone. I immediately got ahold of the bank that day and asked the questions of what
[31:06] happened. What had happened is that someone pretending to be Terry on the day before had called
[31:14] up knowing the account number of our bank account number, know her social security number,
[31:21] New her name, new her mother's maiden name, and created an initial transfer.
[31:29] That transfer began with that all happened one day.
[31:35] The initial touch back and forth, he called and told them the amount.
[31:39] He took away $10,000 and then put the money back in.
[31:44] So all done one day, bam.
[31:46] So, when I found that and saw that, got a hold of the bank immediately, we put every
[31:52] account on hold and throws every account so nothing could happen, you know, anything
[31:56] could happen was we could checks that were written could go through.
[32:01] And from that, we then filed a claim against the Thomas Staphonic and the bank of our
[32:13] temple and they stopped that transaction from happening. I didn't find out that until
[32:20] like the 15th of the month but we immediately stopped everything. So because of the immediacy
[32:27] of what we did when we found out they were able to stop the whole process. So they stopped
[32:32] the guy from getting any money or anything like that. So we use a two-point authentication.
[32:38] I mean, just any time we get on the bank, we have to dog on, they send us numbers, then we can get in.
[32:45] So it's not like we aren't doing the things that we can to be safe.
[32:49] This guy had inside information gotten somehow and was able to go around the system and seek into our accounts.
[32:58] So every account has been changed, everything has all been moved.
[33:03] There is no money in any of the old accounts or any old account numbers.
[33:06] money was returned to us. It's back into our accounts now. And we filed with the FBI and the sheriff and the state of Utah.
[33:15] We filed a fraud case with everyone. Only one really did anything.
[33:21] Means Washington County Sheriff's Department and they have followed up and done some things.
[33:26] But since then everything's gone. Everything's changed.
[33:30] We have changed everybody's passwords, we've changed the abilities and transfers of funds to anybody using her name.
[33:39] If they are to call the bank flags them to say she can't use it without giving you a password.
[33:47] And she has a special password with the bank and I have a special password with the bank.
[33:54] I don't know hers, she doesn't know mine.
[33:55] So, if anything ever comes up, they have to get a special password for a minute.
[34:00] And it's not my mother's maiden name, so they knew of her.
[34:04] Did they get any of your personal accounts?
[34:06] They tried to, but my credit was already locked up, so they're going to be luckily getting
[34:11] anything.
[34:11] So everything is locked up, and as tight as we can make it, we've got all the layers of security
[34:16] in, and they're just, they're just scum, and they work it, taking something from...
[34:22] Did you have any conversation with the bank?
[34:25] relative to the phone call that was made to do this and they don't have a
[34:31] little box that says Mr. Ornitha's female or man.
[34:35] It didn't ask that question.
[34:37] It was because of Terry's male person.
[34:42] Because there's a lot of similar names that are male and female genus.
[34:46] So that could be something to bite.
[34:48] And they also do the next day.
[34:50] They try again with her name.
[34:52] And because it was a call-up, you know, they keep records of things that happen.
[34:57] And the questions they were asking were not questions that would be asked by somebody who
[35:02] knew all our accounts or knew their information right.
[35:05] So then they asked, well, you know this and this and this, well, what's your birthday?
[35:09] And the guy who knew everything else but didn't know her birthday.
[35:12] So when I do it next time, I'll remember her birthday, too, so wow.
[35:17] But yeah, it's a little...
[35:22] It's going to make it off the record.
[35:26] This happened to March and I years ago, and somebody actually came in and got into one
[35:34] of our accounts, went to Mesquite and drew three or four different casinos to $20,000
[35:42] out of our account exactly the bank covered it.
[35:48] But after that time, I have actually put on any time, any money is taken out of any of
[35:53] my accounts, that they send me a text.
[35:56] We have that.
[35:58] It's set that way.
[35:59] And it's only, as I'm just saying, it's only over a certain amount, and it's not a big
[36:02] lot of stuff.
[36:03] Yeah.
[36:03] So let me try to take 5,000 or more.
[36:05] I get a text immediately when something comes out of my account, and I'm actually stopped
[36:10] talked a number of frauds that same way, but that's about what I've called the bank directly
[36:15] to say, this is not me.
[36:17] And we were able to stop it.
[36:19] I think that we would have been covered by here in Sherin's company.
[36:23] We would, I talked to our insurance company, but I didn't really file any, but I talked
[36:28] to our insurance company.
[36:30] They would have covered it because we have fraud coverage, and also the bank would have
[36:35] covered it too.
[36:35] So I mean, we just actively, the minute we found it, the charge did it.
[36:44] And how they linked me to these accounts, I have no idea.
[36:46] I don't know.
[36:47] I have no idea how they would do that.
[36:50] I don't think of it like they may be watching you shower it like now.
[36:56] I would take a rear camera.
[36:59] I'll go back on the record, sorry I said that.
[37:02] Anybody have any issues?
[37:04] No.
[37:04] I know I've tried to turn up everything and so that thing they couldn't have done it by getting on our account online
[37:11] They were able to sneak through the back through the system and we've locked that up. We feel
[37:20] Thanks you guys for being on top of good and spending so many hours down there and
[37:25] Just suddenly going down to no Rick has taken me so out. There's no occasion where I'm ever going to take my
[37:31] So I think he told the bank. There's no reason I'm never going to do that. So you're taking off. I think so. I don't have that ability. So just mind by me.
[37:42] Anything else on that?
[37:44] Okay, moving on item seven, clerk and pressures reports.
[37:49] I don't know if you guys had any questions on any of the things we did relatively expensive 3500 a month.
[37:56] electricity was a high month, I don't know if you look down the list, fuel we had, having
[38:01] the nice credit card and P card that was easy for them to buy gas. So we spent 425 hours
[38:08] there.
[38:09] Yes, you may go ahead, you ask questions of anything you say. I just answered the things
[38:14] I thought you'd want to know.
[38:15] Okay, thank you. The fuel purchase, I assume the one to Rick Alby was before the purchase
[38:22] cards game yeah I mean I'm gonna look like that's what it is it was to him but since then they've
[38:28] all been done through p-cards yeah I can see that we're yeah friend of ramen yeah and all day
[38:34] well that all went through p-cards okay because you just finished talking about the fraud thing
[38:39] I'm gonna talk about your subscription to northern uh-huh did you get a notice from them relative to
[38:48] to this theft potential that took place.
[38:54] I have gotten them from things, but I...
[38:57] No, I understand.
[38:59] But we pay us a subscription price,
[39:02] and if they didn't notify you at some point
[39:06] that there was something or rye,
[39:12] then I would ask,
[39:13] what are we paying the subscription price for?
[39:15] and what does that give us?
[39:18] Okay, I don't know how that would feed to Norton
[39:21] because this was a banking transaction that happened off that.
[39:26] Well, I understand that actually.
[39:28] Your banking information is part of that security.
[39:32] It's much like if we bought Norton security,
[39:35] it would protect the same mortgages in your accounts and what not.
[39:39] No, Norton protects our computers from bad software.
[39:44] Yeah, that's bad software protection.
[39:47] All three of the different computers we have run the same subscription to Morton.
[39:54] Northern is just the McAfee or whatever you want to call it that's there
[39:58] to protect us from the bad guys that try to get in our computers.
[40:03] The bad guys are better than us.
[40:05] Also, yeah, I know all that.
[40:07] Yeah, they are.
[40:13] But I would not feel comfortable running without that thing in the background to watch over me because I don't know if you guys run it.
[40:21] I always had it before on any of my machines and it's there to watch over what happens.
[40:27] Okay, great.
[40:29] Thank you.
[40:30] And the bank charges were new checks because we had to buy new checks since we had to throw away all the old ones and shred those.
[40:37] And then we had to clear out the old accounts to move over to the new accounts.
[40:43] I had to cancel the check that was outstanding that they had not cashed.
[40:48] So that's what the $20 was.
[40:50] Other than that, there were any other questions to those things.
[40:56] I would point out on, if you were on a panel.
[41:01] Let's see, do you hear that?
[41:02] I think the credit.
[41:03] I wouldn't.
[41:06] I think we had, we, we, we, did you charge the label and the credit of that?
[41:13] I think I ended up putting it into two loan accounts.
[41:15] I think one, the 50 that was transferred and the other credit, I think, to balance each
[41:20] other loan accounts.
[41:23] And if I look down the budget versus actual, the only one that's really a problem is repairs
[41:29] in the first series of things and the repairs.
[41:33] Those are basically two big, ugly things.
[41:35] One were all the lights we wanted everybody to put in
[41:37] and get everything changed inside, outside.
[41:40] And then we had a garage door opener failed.
[41:44] And when that sucker went bad,
[41:45] it knocked out a $1,900 repair to the door opening system.
[41:55] And then under communications,
[41:57] that's a bit high, it's higher than it would think on the budget and that's a $500 phone
[42:03] we needed to make them have a phone when they get down and we also needed it for PayPal.
[42:11] So that's a vendor, yeah, vendor, not PayPal.
[42:15] And then if we wrote it in the next page and do some subscriptions, that's high.
[42:20] It should find that okay, we pretty much got everything in it.
[42:23] And the biggest piece of that is the 4,500 which is for that grants program and that was
[42:31] 45 and QuickBooks is 1322 and then internet service is higher than we budgeted that's because
[42:39] we moved to the provider of internet we went over to satellite guys starting. So I don't know if
[42:48] you have any other questions there. We've had two pages that are strangely there, one of the
[42:52] Valensheet comparison as of July 31st and then when you can see the mess the Terry and I had at the end of the month
[43:00] With all of these old accounts with money and a new accounts of money and all of these pieces here and there and everywhere
[43:07] And then if you look up to the next page
[43:09] You'll see as the August 4th what it looks like so we look at the next page
[43:14] You'll see that the cap equipment is under 12 and it all looks nice and clean because we got rid of all of the
[43:22] problems to that. So that's really what the accounts look like now. And so I should have asked
[43:29] this also in chief parties, but can you talk to us about how the p-cards are working out?
[43:33] The p-cards are working great. The guys like them and it's easy for them. I don't like them because
[43:39] they're paying my honor like them yet. So I've got to figure a way that I can handle them better
[43:46] because it's like doubling my work if not a little more than doubling my work that I used to have to
[43:52] So I'll see how that plays out.
[43:55] I got to figure out how it works.
[43:57] I had problems.
[43:59] This is my first month with this.
[44:00] It gave me hiccups because I couldn't make it run one check.
[44:04] So I have four p-cards, so I got a bill from the Bing one,
[44:08] and I have four different things I got to pay.
[44:10] So I wrote four different checks to apply to that.
[44:14] There's got to be a better way of doing that.
[44:16] So I've just got to figure it out.
[44:18] I want to learn. I'm on the line. How's it going from the implementation chief? How's it going from your guys's perspective? The car? I think that Brad and I are the ones who have used them. No, no, no, no, not on bot dash.
[44:39] I don't have to wait to get a reimbursion check and go put the check in my account.
[44:45] I'll just fill out the paperwork and submit the receipt to the director.
[44:50] Because I have to create my work because it looks like you're the one that's doing all of the work.
[44:56] What's that?
[44:57] What did I create?
[44:58] What was it for you?
[44:59] It was like this.
[45:00] No, I'm doing what the board is tracking, I'm providing my first seed var, and two, the other seed var, fuel.
[45:08] So far, some of you are subscribing. Some of it is we buying fuel, but most of it would be my card being used by fuel, and I provide the card.
[45:18] Martin.
[45:20] Martin, who are the individuals that were cards issued to you?
[45:24] So Rob Nodine, Mark Rose, Prattis De Zito, me, and me.
[45:34] That's the five-year group.
[45:36] Yeah, that's the five-year group.
[45:39] The work of Nodine has cards, he didn't borrow it.
[45:44] He didn't borrow it.
[45:45] He used...
[45:46] That's what I was saying.
[45:47] He bought fuel.
[45:48] No, I said he's this car. He budgeted some.
[45:52] Yeah, if you look at expenses. Yeah, if you look under fuel, you'll see the initials are by that number. Right. That's why I said, this is not creating more work, but you know, everything that you said you gave your car to do. Rob. No, I don't know. Yeah.
[46:17] But if you look at the purchasing of fuel.
[46:20] So, if you look at it, there's five transactions, and you'll see one is Rigalbi, and that was just to him, and then there's 0, 0, 0, 7, 3, p-card, and that's R-H, that's Hardy, and next one is R-N, that's no-dine, and then Hardy and Hardy.
[46:39] So I thought we were trying to get away from, I thought there was supposed to be some control over the card.
[46:46] I just find it was by an issue to individuals that would use them.
[46:50] If the card is being given out to somebody that's, that's not a big issue.
[46:59] I don't know. I don't feel uncomfortable with him handing it to Alby and Alby running down and bringing it back with a receipt.
[47:05] He doesn't keep the card.
[47:06] I mean, no, it's not in our position, yeah.
[47:12] We talked about the control being the chief.
[47:16] Yeah.
[47:17] And if somebody rather than them using their own credit card
[47:21] and the process of writing their check to them,
[47:24] that's what they want to get away from.
[47:26] So chief controls, he's got the card.
[47:28] If he sends somebody other than somebody with the card,
[47:31] then chief is responsible for that card
[47:34] and retrieving that card, so he's the control center.
[47:39] So he's so important that he goes through the card,
[47:41] and then somebody else will go get you.
[47:43] I don't think that's the case.
[47:45] I think they have to come to the team.
[47:47] There have only been one person who requested the card.
[47:50] He's only come to me so far.
[47:53] But as I understood, that was the instruction that I had before.
[47:56] Was that if somebody outside of those five people
[47:59] had cards being filled with vehicles,
[48:01] that they would obtain the card for me.
[48:04] I would know that they're filling it out.
[48:06] They provide me the paperwork and we see afterwards
[48:08] so I have what they use the port and all that jives.
[48:13] I thought that that was an approval practice
[48:14] by the moment.
[48:15] There is evidence.
[48:17] That wasn't, I think, to answer Mark's question
[48:20] to reaffirm with the other four,
[48:23] that you're the control that their cards aren't to go
[48:26] to anybody if the other four.
[48:30] I don't understand but if that's what the board wants then we'll respect that.
[48:33] No, I think Mark's making a good point.
[48:36] You're the control, rather than, let's say, those other four have other people than
[48:44] it's just that process of, yeah, it's got control, so we'll do whatever the board wants.
[48:52] Yeah.
[48:53] I think Mark makes a good point.
[48:54] And you've been a control board anyway, that's the way I'm interested in it.
[49:00] I'm good.
[49:01] I'm good with that too.
[49:06] Okay.
[49:07] Anything else?
[49:08] No, I have moved the big set up with many angels.
[49:12] Yeah, the second.
[49:13] I'll start with that.
[49:14] All in favor?
[49:15] Fine.
[49:17] Okay.
[49:18] Grand update.
[49:18] Number 8, key party.
[49:20] Oh, sorry.
[49:21] Yeah.
[49:21] That's great.
[49:22] I balanced the accounts with Rick.
[49:24] So it was a little more complicated this month, but we got it done and so they're all balanced.
[49:28] Yeah, thank you.
[49:29] Sorry.
[49:29] Okay.
[49:30] I should have waited for you.
[49:31] Yeah.
[49:31] It's okay.
[49:33] Why don't we just do another one?
[49:34] Just so.
[49:36] All right.
[49:36] Move that we approved financial solution and treasure.
[49:39] Thank you.
[49:39] All the second.
[49:40] Thank you.
[49:40] All in favor.
[49:41] Thank you.
[49:41] Thank you.
[49:43] Okay.
[49:43] Grand update.
[49:44] So as you know, you received the $10,000 from Exit Tower in the finance arm.
[49:55] We had a company, one of our fire bodies, worked for an actual aerospace, reached out to us and said, what else does the fire department need that they can help with that?
[50:13] We said, well, we're trying to get, we gave him a whole list of things that we had possibly for him.
[50:20] He chose to give us $10,000 to help us finish purchasing the comic tool.
[50:25] So we received an additional $10,000 commitment from Backshared Aerospace.
[50:31] So I'd like to request the board to schedule a bunch of hearing for the next month.
[50:36] So we can adopt for those grant, I mean, and then approve the purchase of a
[50:42] commutual that's outside of our current budget. So with your permission I
[50:49] could get that scheduled act. So Terry. Yep. So we'd notice that as a public
[50:55] hearing inside the public meeting,
[51:02] that's wonderful. And then I also received
[51:06] I noticed this week that our funding navigator account has been upgraded to an unlimited account.
[51:13] No additional cost to us.
[51:16] So if that doesn't nutshells, we're not limited to five small projects.
[51:21] We can do an unlimited amount of projects.
[51:23] So we're going to be working right away on another patient monitor,
[51:27] the vehicle like a thousand dollars.
[51:30] I think we're going to work on being prepared for that.
[51:33] I don't know if there will be an additional item that we didn't have on the report we didn't
[51:39] July about items that have been out for the year, it's a real amen to that patient model.
[51:48] Can you go back to the extracater, what the group is, that's 20,000, is that brand new,
[51:56] is that used, are there options to reduce that cost?
[51:59] So, what it is is you look at what the X-Tracian Tool for H141 be a year and a half ago.
[52:07] It was $36,000 and that was a cutter, a spreader, a RAM, batteries, and chargers, you know what I mean.
[52:13] This is the same tool in that series. It's a commie tool, so it actually does cutting,
[52:19] it actually does spreading. It doesn't do as good as the tools that are designing that.
[52:25] It's kind of, it's not the best of all worlds, but it's good now.
[52:30] If they don't even have one tool, two tools, two or three tools.
[52:36] So this is out in the same line as those tools, from the same, and it's a state contract
[52:42] so that they're all part of the state contract process.
[52:47] So it's the same as the extra-fictions, what do you want for the first jaws of the
[52:54] life?
[52:55] The biggest nights, they have the same batteries, same chargers, they're going to have to
[52:59] solve any changeable.
[53:00] If we're training, they're similar or not, then.
[53:03] And it's what the other departments along, I guess, are using them also, so they're changing
[53:07] people that way.
[53:11] So Emily, what's wrong?
[53:12] Do you recall the last time we talked about the summary for the navigator that we've
[53:23] engaged, I think, but where we go to budget, did it be great to have, like, next month
[53:33] kind of report to progressive relative to return on investment, so to speak, to give
[53:40] was kind of an update for the first three quarters so that we can make a determination during
[53:48] the budget discussion whether or not we continue to use the navigator because I don't think
[53:54] we can wait until the end of the year. We need to do that as part of the budget. And
[53:59] in order to do that, we need to have that conversation either in September or October.
[54:05] We were curious to request to provide for the updates on the funding navigator.
[54:10] We did one in June, so we planned on doing one in September.
[54:13] Okay, great.
[54:14] So, Carrie, did you put that on?
[54:16] Yeah.
[54:16] Thank you.
[54:18] You still feeling good about the funding navigator?
[54:22] They've been great to work with them.
[54:25] We're still kind of early on, and we're only, you know, seven and a half months through the year in the process.
[54:32] but they've been very responsive and good to work with and they've got a
[54:36] great leads on things and we're working through that process so the so far I
[54:40] feel good about it now. I think also. It's month we've got the inventory. That's
[54:47] already done. We got it. And it was going to talk about that. Oh yeah. It's part of
[54:53] it's the next one on the number 10 after Allen.
[54:59] Why have we done smoothing your over a month as a whole?
[55:02] Yeah, I didn't use it.
[55:04] I just got the opening.
[55:07] I gained a nice eye.
[55:08] I don't see what it's going to take.
[55:11] Okay, anything else?
[55:12] No, I'm sorry.
[55:13] Okay.
[55:14] See if we don't, that's just an update.
[55:16] We don't need any emotions or anything negative.
[55:18] Okay.
[55:19] Number nine, quarterly bank reconciliation report.
[55:22] Mr. Pan.
[55:22] Okay, Bob, the Bob and I met with the our treasure cherry forms, our court
[55:28] repeats through UDSS, SSD, bank accounts, and statements, and compared this
[55:35] against books, cash, balances, the reconciliation, everything.
[55:42] Paired out, so to speak, there was no outstanding checks or deposits that
[55:47] that were in excess 30 days.
[55:50] So everything looked very good.
[55:52] This is part of our quarterly reconciliation
[55:57] that we've committed to do as a part of.
[56:00] I really are broad assessment that's a part of that.
[56:05] So that everything was good.
[56:07] Terry and Rick were both well-prepared.
[56:09] We have a fairly in-depth conversation during that time
[56:16] And that's where we were right there in the money, so Bob and I kind of fair it at all of that out, so we feel pretty good.
[56:24] Okay. Anything you guys want to ask from that?
[56:27] No, it works real well, but it's...
[56:30] We spend more time talking about other things that takes us to review them, but that's okay. It's a good meeting.
[56:37] If we don't need a motion, will Matt do we do accept that?
[56:44] No, you're just reporting on that.
[56:48] This may concern.
[56:49] Okay, number 10.
[56:50] inventory, asset, listings, and insurance renewal.
[56:53] Okay, here's the insurance renewal information.
[56:56] I have a couple of these, a little print one for everybody.
[57:01] If he's like to share, I gave one to the chief.
[57:05] And here's three, this is, oops,
[57:12] let's talk about the insurance first, okay.
[57:15] Here is, if you look at this, ULGT is our insurance company, it's Utah Local Insurance
[57:25] Company.
[57:26] Utah Local Government Trust Insurance Company, they've taken care of us as long as I've
[57:31] been around, they're part of the state of Utah, and their website is a .gov, so they're part
[57:36] the state of Utah. So in 2526 their policy runs from July 1st to June 3th of the next year.
[57:47] So the policy that is on the right hand, our left hand side is what we are currently covering.
[57:54] If you look at that the 2526, we have seven vehicles and liability and damage will 6,400 and
[58:01] $22 for the vehicle insurance, and we're covered by a $2 million liability policy that
[58:09] covers our decisions and bad things that happen, that's $8.56, then we had a building
[58:15] and we have a building and last year they valued the building at $591,000, building contents
[58:21] with $300,000, and we had a mobile equipment endorsement of $10,000, then we had a property,
[58:28] So that totaled 3,113 workers count 5 baby, 5 so last year we were 10,976.
[58:37] So if you look at the far far far right column, that was the budget was put together based
[58:42] upon inflation over those numbers, I think I use like 6%.
[58:47] So if we look at that, my budget for vehicles was 6750.
[58:51] If you look beside that, the budget insurance came in at $2.6234, so it's because our
[59:01] hurricane older worth less and so it lowered that.
[59:07] My ability, they got a different carrier for liability that handles the big one, so that
[59:13] went down, so it was $653 instead of the budget in 900 and better than the $8.56.
[59:19] Then we go to the building and the building is where the changes become.
[59:24] The building is 6.33 now and because of that it's...
[59:29] They broke out this year different than last year they didn't break out the pieces.
[59:33] Last year the building was 6.33, 6.33, that's 15.35.
[59:40] Contents I moved from 300 to 350 because we felt that our things we have here are more money
[59:48] and it's not that much different in price for that add-on to it because it was
[59:54] only 50 more thousand. The mobile equipment endorsement that's a big jump if you
[1:00:00] They have been at $10,000, and we did the inventory of which you guys want to take a look at two of these. You guys can take a look at it. I apologize. And that is all of the vehicles and what we paid for things. So that's the $330,000 worth of stuff is on those pieces of equipment. Can you help me understand the difference between building contents of mobile equipment?
[1:00:29] Okay, the building contents are the things that are fixed in this building and are in the building.
[1:00:35] The mobile contents and that's how they chose to write this house here, the mobile contents are on the trucks, but they go out.
[1:00:43] And so those were all just in that same $300 and $300,000, well, we have on trucks, $330,000 worth of stuff.
[1:00:54] So, if it were to go down, we really have $680,000 for the stuff.
[1:01:01] So in reality, we added a mobile equipment endorsement that only was $475 for $330,000
[1:01:10] with the stuff.
[1:01:12] And we bumped up the building contents to $350, which isn't a whole lot, a big difference
[1:01:19] it was like $80 more for that, the $50,000.
[1:01:23] And the big chunk of the thing is the unmanned aircraft,
[1:01:28] worth $24,000.
[1:01:30] We talked about this earlier in the year.
[1:01:33] You guys, you were going to do that.
[1:01:36] It gave us the approval to get it.
[1:01:37] So this is it happening right there.
[1:01:39] So that's $24.72.
[1:01:41] Workers count this pretty much the same.
[1:01:43] So footing all of this changes with the changes
[1:01:46] to building is worth more, so that's more money.
[1:01:50] Building contents are higher and the two lines beside that, the 475 and the 2417 are
[1:01:59] new numbers.
[1:02:00] It then brings us to a total of 12,522 for insurance this year.
[1:02:06] Now that's only $989 over on budget because they were reduced in other areas.
[1:02:11] So we got approval for $2,400 and we're bringing you in at only $1,000.
[1:02:18] So you see $1,500 in the New Year price.
[1:02:21] I mean, because if you had the aircraft and $1,400 compared to last year,
[1:02:27] and we're $1,500 under that budget price, so yeah.
[1:02:32] Does that, the unmanned aircraft, does that cover property damage or just the device itself?
[1:02:38] The liability is covers damage it could cause.
[1:02:43] The, that covers the vehicle in case we wreck it.
[1:02:49] And that's the entire replacement value for that.
[1:02:55] And those things expensive, they break.
[1:03:00] So.
[1:03:12] I don't know, I've driven one, I don't know if you've ever driven one, but I cut my finger
[1:03:17] and I almost broke a window and I decided to quit messing with that number thing.
[1:03:24] So that's what, and you guys had to prove that number.
[1:03:26] So we're only $9.89 above the budget and there's an inventory. They've done it. They did a good job
[1:03:32] And that's what's on those pieces of equipment you tell this is pretty impressive
[1:03:37] Yeah, that's a lot of work and that's what we paid for them a lot of things because I have the bills
[1:03:43] I was able to look up exactly our price we paid for those so
[1:03:57] right now if one of the trucks has a problem we know what
[1:04:03] If the billy burns down, we have $680,000 with the things that are on the VHP.
[1:04:10] I don't know the inventory of my barn.
[1:04:15] He does the inventory.
[1:04:16] I just figured the prices, so I took me an afternoon, but it was worth the $80,000.
[1:04:28] So I don't know if I need approval, I guess I need approval to spend $989 more for insurance
[1:04:36] but we were given approval earlier on in the year to go ahead and start that process.
[1:04:41] So I would ask probably again that you guys okay maybe that it would be approval to renew
[1:04:49] at these prices with this company before we just we're doing what we thought in the budget would be
[1:04:54] that yeah yeah yeah I'm just trying to off
[1:05:06] we need a motion for renewal that probably should have
[1:05:11] motion authorization? Well, actually, for purchasing, if anything's over a certain amount,
[1:05:17] they do need the board's authorization form. But paying first things, this is things that
[1:05:23] are budgeted, these generally expenses that are budgeted that other than it being 989 over the
[1:05:31] budget, I wouldn't even blink an eye. I think if you guys approve the budget, I would pay the bill.
[1:05:37] So, yeah, let's reiterate the renewal for the insurance includes the insurance for the aircraft which we had discussed in May or June.
[1:05:52] More of the equipment.
[1:05:53] Under, yeah, young man to aircraft equipment.
[1:05:57] And in the light of that discussion, which was going to be a couple hundred dollars a month is what we discussed.
[1:06:03] I would move that we would approve not only the renewal and recognize ultimately that the renewal came in less than what we expected if we had the unmanned aircraft to the previous 10-9
[1:06:19] and it's at $12.5 and you would have ultimately been to about $13.5 so it's
[1:06:30] maybe $1,000 but in either case I moved that we we approved the renewal with
[1:06:37] those changes that Rick has updated which gives us better coverage reduced all of
[1:06:49] work on the insurance. You're insurance guys work.
[1:06:52] I mean, does it have to be really by now? Yeah, it's the
[1:06:56] mark very long. Yeah. Yeah, they expire tomorrow. It
[1:07:01] expired June 30th. Yeah, we're not insured by the
[1:07:06] lights on. No, we're not. This is a state mark. The state
[1:07:12] does this. This is a, yeah, this is Utah state. This is the
[1:07:15] government. Yeah. I mean, it's Utah. God, God, I mean, if
[1:07:19] who looked at it with the opposite view.
[1:07:22] We look to various periods.
[1:07:25] This kind of was bad.
[1:07:26] I think what your comment was,
[1:07:28] Jennifer, was here's an expenditure
[1:07:34] that you talked about soliciting quotes.
[1:07:39] That would be under the same conditions.
[1:07:41] Me as being an quote for maintenance,
[1:07:44] when I do this,
[1:07:47] there's a way out of the bounds of not dealing
[1:07:49] with the state's provider for insurance.
[1:07:54] I'm not too comfortable with that.
[1:07:56] I thought in our policies that if it's a state,
[1:08:01] I'd have looked at it.
[1:08:02] I thought that we don't have to see it.
[1:08:04] The city is saying to provide go-shading broker.
[1:08:06] Yeah.
[1:08:07] I just want to be able to look at people in the community and say,
[1:08:10] yes, that was the very best deal we want it was.
[1:08:14] Yeah, that's true.
[1:08:15] But is this already an answer?
[1:08:18] The question in the policy was if it is a pre-negotiated by the state, then you didn't have to get other bids.
[1:08:26] Because the state has done that already.
[1:08:29] That's done already.
[1:08:30] For instance, how do you guess if you have that authority, and it's that I'm okay with it?
[1:08:36] The state has recommended that that's the best insurance.
[1:08:39] That's all I need.
[1:08:41] And in our policy, we have the state has done that, and we know they have done their due diligence of multiple bids.
[1:08:47] And they passed it to us.
[1:08:53] Okay.
[1:08:54] So he did make a motion just to make it clean.
[1:09:01] That's where the insurance has stated on the tape.
[1:09:05] There you go.
[1:09:06] Thank you.
[1:09:06] I agree.
[1:09:10] Any second off there.
[1:09:12] You might want to professionalize that up.
[1:09:15] It's just a wonderful thing to have.
[1:09:22] Thank you.
[1:09:23] Emily, by the way, I'll talk to you.
[1:09:26] Is it on the other side?
[1:09:26] Funny story.
[1:09:28] I read in Sister Davies Maxine's book, Was Your Friend.
[1:09:34] I was discovering Pine Valley and turning the rock into the dump.
[1:09:39] I thought it was cracking up.
[1:09:42] It was the funniest story.
[1:09:43] Now there was a lot of shit. She's cute. That was hilarious. If you ever read the book,
[1:09:50] you now need to read that story. It is hilarious. She's moving next to her parents so she can help
[1:09:55] them age in place, as they call Lynn and I, mom and dad. There you go. Okay, the inventory list.
[1:10:06] was that a train or is that a real quick landsuit?
[1:10:11] No, it's not.
[1:10:13] They never gave me an in-win story.
[1:10:15] We could add that because I did some pumps in there.
[1:10:18] Yeah.
[1:10:18] Yeah.
[1:10:20] Wow.
[1:10:20] Cheap.
[1:10:21] Did you hear?
[1:10:22] You should add the trailer.
[1:10:23] Yeah.
[1:10:24] Once in the trailer.
[1:10:25] Yes, or even once in the trailer?
[1:10:26] Okay.
[1:10:27] In the Kubota.
[1:10:28] You said it.
[1:10:29] Well, it's just part of the possessions in the three.
[1:10:33] in the 350, 350,000. I hate to put it on as a vehicle on that insurance because then all of a sudden now we've got another piece and it's never driven on any roads or anything.
[1:10:46] So it's just been considered an asset of the building and part of that.
[1:10:53] It would fall into 350.
[1:11:17] I don't think we want it as a mobile but it would be nice to know what we have in case
[1:11:22] we file a claim. That's the best part is if we file a claim. Because now we have the ability to say to them.
[1:11:30] We know this was on there. Here's this and it's dated. They didn't want a copy. I tried to give it to them.
[1:11:35] But I've got some boxes and I have some new books that I'm going to be going to buy now.
[1:11:41] So, and there was a value ballpark $200, $5,000.
[1:11:51] I think they've been instituted.
[1:11:54] That's what most people ask about.
[1:11:56] Okay, we need to go back and say,
[1:11:58] oh, we need six out of more feet.
[1:12:01] Okay, there's stuff in the context.
[1:12:04] Yeah.
[1:12:05] So you don't want to just make a lag.
[1:12:07] Thank you, ma'am.
[1:12:08] A lot of us knew it, it was probably a huge item to have.
[1:12:14] Is that what your concern is that people may not know what's out there and available and
[1:12:18] might purchase and not be aware of it.
[1:12:25] Nobody, she's been raised anything else?
[1:12:29] Thank you.
[1:12:30] That's it.
[1:12:30] Okay.
[1:12:31] That's great.
[1:12:32] Thank you.
[1:12:34] All right.
[1:12:34] Let's move on to item 11.
[1:12:36] Thank you.
[1:12:37] You're back up.
[1:12:39] What is it?
[1:12:40] What is it?
[1:12:42] What's it?
[1:12:52] So Joseph is working on the website and we've identified buckets that we want to have and he hasn't really been able to start coding that yet, because he's been heavy finals, but she said he's done now, and so we'll have to come with you guys for information on each of those buckets when we get there.
[1:13:10] But I don't have a time frame for them, but I do have the name of the webmaster in the dozens west if it's taking too long. I think we can always invest some money in it and do it.
[1:13:29] I'm $2,500, but I'm going to do it.
[1:13:45] I'm going to do it in the next few months.
[1:13:56] So yeah, it's much like the fire and shield compensation that actually is pardoned for
[1:14:07] documents and engaging, I mean, the chief chooses not to accept that, Chakie didn't take
[1:14:16] if chiefer didn't take it, but it's in there.
[1:14:21] And if we had to hire somebody to do what Joseph is doing,
[1:14:26] we would need a budget, let's say 3500 a year or 5,000,
[1:14:31] whatever that number really, you have to have the budget.
[1:14:34] Okay, okay, I don't recall that.
[1:14:36] But so the question I would ask is do we want to allocate
[1:14:43] allocate a
[1:14:47] Renumeration him then make a contribution. I didn't it's it's more
[1:14:53] Conversation point because him though he's he's given it something that's really
[1:15:00] It's beyond our capacity to do that. And so I have lied to you.
[1:15:08] There's been a way to do some place else. We need to throw it in there so we have it in there.
[1:15:14] Right. Well, there, Northwest paid, I mean, she said $2,500 for the set up, and then they
[1:15:20] can't normal amount every month. I mean, it was $100 a month, but I, I don't know that much more.
[1:15:28] or the work developing the website is, I mean, however, they've got to do that, there's obviously some time involved.
[1:15:35] Anyone? I'd be honest.
[1:15:40] It's a good point.
[1:15:43] Okay. The citizens request, number 12.
[1:15:50] Anybody here? Anybody online?
[1:15:51] If anybody's still awake, they've got to do a lot of fighting over it.
[1:15:55] I think the other one I would share is just to say is I sit here for the last hour and
[1:15:59] listen to say thank you to each one of your youth and your efforts
[1:16:08] from the work and
[1:16:09] the contributions of the community to help on well and be one of this, a lot of us.
[1:16:16] We see things around, we kind of address it, take care of it, you know, I kind of think
[1:16:22] just to let us say thank you.
[1:16:25] Brian, can we turn the audio up so you can share your thoughts?
[1:16:30] He's got a comment here, please share my thoughts.
[1:16:39] I don't know that that is.
[1:16:44] Brian, if you can share your comments, I don't know that text will be part of the public comments.
[1:16:51] that's I'm just looking at your notes here.
[1:16:53] Can you not come in?
[1:17:02] Looks like she's muted on the night.
[1:17:05] Looks like she's got himself muted.
[1:17:07] Looks like you're muted, Brian.
[1:17:15] And if you want part of the public document,
[1:17:18] you'd need to present it here in this meeting.
[1:17:22] So we really need your audio.
[1:17:47] You want some of the comments?
[1:17:48] I don't know whether or not they are not,
[1:17:50] they are not.
[1:17:51] That would be a question we'd have to ask the county clerk.
[1:17:53] but are you not able to make a public comment?
[1:18:00] Are you able to make a public comment by audio?
[1:18:03] Yes or no?
[1:18:08] Okay, so we need audio.
[1:18:11] We are going to include this based on how we're set up
[1:18:15] right now.
[1:18:18] He is choosing not to do that.
[1:18:20] No, but he is choosing not to.
[1:18:22] Is that correct?
[1:18:23] You're choosing not to give a public comment by audio?
[1:18:27] Do you want to call a phone and we can put you on speaker?
[1:18:29] Okay.
[1:18:34] He's choosing not to do that. So if there's any other comments. All right. Meeting adjourned. We need a motion to adjourn.
[1:18:42] Thank you. Thank you all very much.
[1:18:47] I thank you everybody.
[1:18:50] No, I'm going to take care of it.
[1:18:52] I'm going to expand it.
[1:18:54] I have this.
[1:18:55] Thanks.
