[0:06] I'd like to call to order the city of [0:08] Sagatuck city council workshop for [0:11] August 19th, 2026. [0:14] Jamie, will you call the role? [0:15] » Anderson [0:16] » Here. [0:17] » Clark Dean [0:19] » Here. [0:20] » Gardner Muny [0:22] » Here. [0:23] » Peterson [0:23] » Here. [0:24] » Stan [0:24] » Here. [0:25] » We have Corum. Um Russ is running late [0:27] so he will be here. Um and Joe is not [0:30] here. So can I get a motion to excuse [0:32] Joe from this evening's meeting or [0:34] » Madame Mayor? I move we u excuse council [0:37] member uh Clark from the today's [0:39] meeting. [0:39] » Second. [0:40] » All in favor say yes. Yes. Any opposed? [0:44] Motion carries. Agenda changes. Uh we [0:46] talked um informally. [0:49] » Yes. um about the short-term rental uh [0:52] licensing uh resolution, which is 7B, [0:55] and pushing that to the next meeting [0:57] when we have all of our council members [0:59] here. [1:00] » Yeah. I'll make a motion to move [1:04] » I unfortunately I'd like to but we [1:06] haven't changed anything. Right. Right. [1:08] » Uh I'd like to make a motion to change [1:10] uh discussion item 7V to our next [1:13] workshop so that all council folks are [1:16] present during that discussion. Second. [1:20] » All in favor. Jamie, this all in favor [1:23] say yes. [1:23] » Yes. [1:24] » Any opposed? Motion carries. Sorry, [1:26] Rash. Good to see you. [laughter] [1:31] » You get a walk in. [1:33] » You got the steps. Um, [1:36] » We have no guest speaker. Uh, so that [1:38] takes us to public comment on agenda [1:40] items only. Anyone in the room wish to [1:43] make a public comment? [1:46] Anyone online wish to make a comment? [1:48] Raise your Zoom hand. [1:52] All right. I don't see any. Do you, [1:53] Jamie? [1:53] » I do not. [1:54] » All right. [1:55] » I'm [1:57] This is Christopher Hul. I'm sorry. I [1:59] don't I'm not really good on this uh [2:01] Zoom meeting, so I didn't know how to [2:03] raise my hand on here. [2:04] » Okay. Uh go ahead. You have three [2:06] minutes. And if you can um reference the [2:08] agenda item you wish to address. [2:11] » Yeah. This is uh Christopher Hal, 731 [2:13] Pleasant Street. Uh so it's agenda item [2:16] I guess uh C um rightway application [2:20] permit. So um Lewis Allen and myself um [2:25] are owners of the property and we're [2:27] here for the um meeting to discuss this [2:30] the um [2:33] proposed um application. So, just wanted [2:36] to give a let you know we're here online [2:39] and we are um looking forward to this uh [2:42] committee meeting. [2:44] » Excellent. Well, thank you for joining [2:46] us. Um anyone else on Zoom wish to speak [2:51] and anyone else in the room wish to make [2:53] a public comment? [2:55] » Okay. Uh we'll close public comment and [2:58] move to action items starting with the [3:00] approval of the regular city council me [3:03] meeting minutes from August 10th. Can I [3:05] get a motion? [3:06] » U Madame Mayor, I'll move to approve the [3:09] regular city council meeting minutes [3:10] from August 10th, 2026. [3:13] » I'll second. [3:14] » Any discussion before we vote? [3:16] » Okay, it's a roll call vote. [3:18] » Anderson, [3:19] » Yes. [3:19] » Dean, [3:20] » Yes. [3:21] » My [3:21] » Yes. [3:22] » Peterson, [3:23] » Yes. [3:23] » Stanton, [3:24] » Yes. [3:24] » Motion carries. Great. That takes us to [3:28] discussion items. Uh 7A is the [3:30] presentation on recommended brand [3:32] direction. Quick reminder that um both [3:34] Chris and Lauren from council were part [3:36] of this. Um Ryan, do you want to tee it [3:38] up or have town just dive in or how do [3:41] you want to handle? [3:42] » Yeah, just just briefly. Mayor, as you [3:45] uh all know, you formed a yeah branding [3:47] advisory committee which uh included [3:48] myself, council members Peterson, [3:50] Stanton, uh Tim Straker from our [3:52] historic district uh commission, and [3:53] Kristen Armstrong from the Sagatuck [3:56] Center for the Arts. and uh you uh all [3:58] approved a proposal from um concept uh A [4:02] uh to help us with this project and and [4:04] come up with uh a recommendation uh for [4:07] you. So, I'm going to turn it over to uh [4:09] Mr. Straker and concept A to kind of [4:11] walk through uh the the presentation and [4:14] go from there. [4:15] » Real quick, Ryan, was it this wasn't [4:16] included in our packet, was it? [4:18] » Correct. We'll get you a copy of the [4:20] presentation and and make sure it's [4:22] » To get for people to see the hear the [4:23] context for it before they've looked at [4:25] the um design. [4:27] » Okay. [4:29] » Okay. Hello everyone. [4:31] » Hey Tim. [4:32] » Um I won't repeat what uh Ryan just [4:35] said, but I will say um I think all the [4:38] members of the committee are here. [4:39] » Yeah, that's great. [4:40] » Yes. So uh it was a really good [4:42] committee and a really good process. [4:43] Kudos to concept A for how they led us [4:47] through this um how they listened to our [4:49] feedback. I think every um committee [4:52] member had a point of view and um [4:54] concept A did a really nice job of [4:56] listening to that and providing feedback [4:58] uh against that. So what you're seeing [5:00] today is the result of uh a few [5:02] different rounds of um working against [5:05] the goals and objectives. So I'd like to [5:07] start there. Jamie, if you want to swip [5:10] to the next page. Thank you. So just to [5:13] ground ourselves on the goals and [5:15] objectives for this project. Um the goal [5:18] of the rebranding project, we wanted to [5:20] create a modern identity that reflects [5:23] the authentic character of our community [5:25] and something that captures the culture, [5:27] the natural beauty, um the charm, the [5:30] sophistication in a way that feels [5:34] said said no better than this distinctly [5:36] Sagatuk. Um, every good branding project [5:40] starts with a primary audience and [5:41] understanding really who you're going [5:43] after. In this case, our primary [5:45] audience was um, visitors and tourists [5:48] who are experiencing this from the [5:50] outside in. And our goal was to create a [5:52] strong um, sort of immediate um, [5:56] impression that reflects the character [5:58] and the quality of the place. But the [6:00] secondary audience of residents, I [6:02] think, is really important as well. And [6:04] in no other case that you know in in [6:06] sort of branding world I think is this [6:08] more appropriate that it's almost like a [6:11] recycling logo. The primary audience [6:13] sort of depends on the the secondary [6:15] audience which is residents and the [6:17] resident the secondary audience sort of [6:19] depends on the primary audience. There's [6:21] a tremendous halo effect of how you feel [6:23] as a community member um for how [6:26] visitors and tourists experience our [6:28] community and there's a tremendous sense [6:30] of pride in that. So, we kept going back [6:32] to what we were trying to accomplish [6:34] with the primary and secondary audience [6:36] definitions. [6:39] Um, at its core, [6:42] thanks. At its core, there were three [6:45] brand pillars. We wanted to make sure [6:47] this felt authentic to its core, artful [6:50] by nature, and elevated yet [6:52] approachable. So, I'm going to unpack [6:54] each of these um a little bit because I [6:56] think it's really important for what [6:57] you're going to see. Um [7:00] when we say authentic and at its core, [7:02] we mean the brand should feel grounded [7:04] and genuine while reflecting the [7:06] individuality of the community where the [7:08] the character, the nostalgia, and kind [7:11] of this touch of quirk exists side by [7:14] side. And we think that's a really nice [7:16] description of what we all feel in this [7:18] community every day. Um, number two, [7:21] it's artful by nature in that the brand [7:23] should reflect a sense of artistry um [7:25] and feel natural and integrated u in the [7:28] everyday, not applied or decorative. [7:31] That's really important too. I think the [7:33] authenticity of that artful by nature [7:35] comment oozes out of this community and [7:38] we wanted this identity to feel that [7:40] way. [7:41] Last, we wanted it to feel elevated yet [7:44] approachable. Um, concept a described [7:48] this as a rare high low dynamic. And I [7:50] think that's a good description where [7:52] small town warmth and charm coexist. [7:56] There's a level of refinement, but it [7:58] never feels out of reach. It just sort [8:00] of feels like this distinctive, easy to [8:04] engage, um, an easy to understand kind [8:06] of vibe that goes on here. [8:09] Um, we did do a little bit of research, [8:11] um, prior to the design work. Um the um [8:17] the survey had about u 322 responses. [8:21] The first question was about um our [8:23] community members appetite for change. [8:26] And um generally the feedback was um [8:29] somewhere between a moderate refresh [8:30] first and a completely new direction [8:33] with a subtle evolution from where we [8:35] are now coming in last. So I think where [8:37] we ended up um definitely reflects this [8:40] sort of 231 order. um and we can come [8:43] back to that as we look at um how the [8:46] identity plays off across applications. [8:48] And then I've already covered some of [8:50] those um brand attributes or core words [8:53] that we wanted to um to reflect in the [8:56] identity. [8:58] So without uh without uh further waiting [9:01] um we'll share with you the [9:03] recommendation. [9:06] So uh this city of Sagatuck identity is [9:09] the recommended direction. Excellent, [9:11] Jamie. [9:12] » It feels uh we feel that it's bold. It's [9:16] flowing. It reflects sort of a [9:18] handcrafted nature of our creative [9:20] spirit. Um it's kind of the result of an [9:23] approachable welcoming brand feel that [9:26] uh has character and sort of easily uh [9:30] defines the sense of creativity in the [9:32] community. Um, we purposely sort of did [9:35] the reveal in a black and white [9:37] application so you know you weren't [9:40] swayed by colors or things around it. We [9:43] wanted you to get the sense of purity [9:45] around the identity. But if we make one [9:47] more click, you can see how it comes to [9:49] life in full color. Um, and you can see [9:53] sort of how this um how this vibe lives [9:56] on one of our favorite assets um, Oval [9:58] Beach. So this could be on top of a [10:00] photo that's a mast head in our website, [10:03] but it's purely for conceptual purposes. [10:06] If you go one more click, you can see [10:08] sort of how it takes on a more official [10:11] role. So we talked a lot about um and we [10:14] looked at other identities for other [10:16] municipalities and talked about the role [10:18] of a city identity and it's um how [10:21] serious it needs to be or what the [10:23] interplay between personality and [10:25] official business is. and we feel like [10:27] we found the right spot where um this is [10:31] a a stationary and a sort of document [10:33] expression of what the identity looks [10:35] like in official correspondence. There's [10:38] nothing that says it has like official [10:40] correspondence has to be dry or it has [10:42] to be overly prescriptive. Um, I think [10:46] the days of a sort of gold leaf stamp on [10:49] a on a municipality identity are behind [10:52] us. And there's no better community [10:55] better situated to sort of reflect this [10:57] balance of personality and official [10:59] business. And so this gives you a sense [11:02] of how that feels. Um, another [11:04] application, and I love this because [11:07] it's the most mobile application that [11:09] you see around town, is how the red [11:11] trucks look with this kind of an [11:13] identity on it. It just sort of, um, [11:16] it's a little bit of a wink. It's a [11:18] little bit of a makes you smile. Um, uh, [11:21] it gives you a sense of what the city [11:22] stands for when you see it on a [11:25] Department of Public Works um, sign or a [11:28] truck. [11:29] And then uh another example, [11:32] if you think about the sign coming in on [11:34] Blue Star um from Holland, the the one [11:37] that sort of keeps getting over [11:40] » The third several times, [11:42] » The third one or [11:43] » Um you know, you can see how this [11:46] identity looks in signage. You can see [11:48] how it looks on wayfinding signage. Um [11:50] sort of like Douglas has and that's on [11:52] the right. Um city of Charavoy has very [11:54] similar signage. You can see how that [11:56] holds its own on that. And I want to say [11:59] one thing as especially for anyone who [12:01] might listen to this afterwards. Um this [12:05] this identity on this sign is this [12:08] identity on one sign. This is not a [12:11] proposal to change the pallet sign [12:13] because that is part of our core [12:15] identity. It's actually not a proposal [12:17] to change the other one at North Street [12:19] because that's really interesting. [12:21] That's an interesting sort of late 70s [12:23] early 80s expression of our of our [12:25] community pride and that's part of what [12:27] makes this quirky is having sort of [12:30] different personalities around town. So [12:32] while this might be the official [12:34] identity for the city of Sagatuck um [12:36] it's one of many expressions of what we [12:39] like to communicate who we are and how [12:41] we live. [12:44] And then probably the um expression or [12:46] the application that most people are are [12:48] familiar with obviously or will be [12:50] whether you're a visitor or whether [12:52] you're a resident is the website. [12:55] So you can see sort of how the lockup [12:57] works um in the circle um for social [13:01] media on an Insta page or Facebook page. [13:05] You can see how um the grid might look [13:07] with a series of posts. These are all [13:10] made up. Um, but I think the important [13:12] part about this page is to show how a [13:15] color palette can translate and actually [13:18] help you find or identify with [13:20] information. So that historic district [13:24] box um that is sort of a tealely blue, [13:27] that's just random, but you may, you [13:30] know, if it is tealy blue, you may [13:31] always look for the updates that are [13:33] tealy blue if um the HDC is something [13:36] that you watch and follow. Same with the [13:39] planning commission. and it could be um [13:41] orange or um uh any sort of um other [13:45] update on you know beach passes and [13:48] things like that. So it gives us the [13:49] ability to organize our grid and [13:52] communicate with uh a little more [13:53] clarity. [13:57] Um another example of a website concept. [14:00] So, I love this one for how clean it is, [14:04] how clear it is, and how the city of [14:07] Sagatuck logo sort of um sits on [14:10] photography and how um the expression of [14:12] the logo and photography work together [14:14] to create a vibe of who we are and how [14:18] important the water is, how important [14:19] nature is. By the way, I think that's [14:22] kind of critical to sort of the greens [14:24] and blues that you feel that you see are [14:26] most prominent with the color palette. [14:31] And then I think lastly, um, just a [14:33] couple variations. Concept A does a [14:35] really nice job of giving you variety [14:37] and guidelines on how to use that [14:39] variety. So the left is sort of the [14:43] primary logo. Um, we had a lot of good [14:45] conversation about this, whether it [14:47] should just be Sagatuck or the city of [14:48] Sagatuck. We landed that it needs to [14:51] have the city on it. It needed to be [14:52] anchored in the like that is an official [14:56] um, uh, sort of need. Um there's [15:00] situations where it may not have the [15:02] city. There are situations when you [15:04] might add established 1868. [15:06] Um so there's secondary uses, there's [15:09] primary uses. Um they're really good [15:12] about creating the guidelines in the [15:13] rule book for um for city staff to [15:16] follow very easily so we know how we're [15:18] being consistent. [15:21] And then lastly, um, one of the things [15:23] we asked Concept Day to do for us was [15:25] just put this in sit in situ with, um, [15:29] two other logos that are around us [15:31] because if our primary audience is [15:33] visitors, our secondary audience is [15:35] residents. We all experience these uh, [15:38] these logos. We experience Sagatuck [15:40] Township. We experience um, Douglas's [15:43] branding. So, like what do we look like [15:46] in comparison and how does our [15:48] personality fit when all three [15:51] communities are sort of together? And we [15:53] felt it was a good litmus test because [15:56] um those other two logos are lovely. [15:58] They had their own goals and objectives [16:00] for their audience and they delivered on [16:03] that for them. We feel slightly [16:06] different but it also hangs together um [16:09] in a sort of three community region. Um, [16:12] but we also give ourselves the the [16:14] opportunity to stand apart and have our [16:16] own personality. So, we really liked how [16:19] this identity showed up as part of the [16:21] three. We feel like we're part of the [16:23] family, but we're um one of the kids [16:25] that definitely stands out with its own [16:27] personality. [16:28] » The fun kids. [16:29] » Yeah, they're the fun kids. [16:33] » I think that's it. [16:35] » Great job, Tim. [16:36] » Yeah, thank you for the committee. And [16:38] thank you to all four of you and Ryan [16:40] who were on the group. It's great work [16:43] and um thank you for being here. So [16:45] » Yeah, [16:46] » Concept A um is on the phone if we have [16:48] qu anyone has questions or comments. Um [16:51] but um kudos to them. They run a really [16:54] good meeting, a really good process and [16:57] uh I think they listened very well [17:00] » From the other committee members. um any [17:03] Lauren and Chris and all [17:05] » I will just say that um you know we went [17:07] through a number of variations where we [17:09] saw different um concepts that they [17:12] brought forth and we went through [17:14] different you know going back on what we [17:17] you know looked at as far as the goals [17:19] of what we wanted it to look like. Um I [17:22] think Tim and Kristen having people that [17:25] have a background that's more in design [17:29] um was super helpful. Um, I definitely [17:32] don't have a background in design or [17:34] branding or marketing. So, I felt like I [17:36] really enjoyed having uh your brains in [17:40] the mix with us. And so, we really um we [17:43] couldn't have done it without having our [17:45] community members with the brain power [17:47] um when it comes to design and marketing [17:49] and uh branding um to be a part of it. [17:52] So, uh very thankful and um I'm really [17:55] excited about how this turned out. I [17:57] think it it it it says all the things [17:59] that we want it to say. [18:01] » Chris, u I I agree with all of that. We [18:04] had they came to us with three different [18:06] designs and and two of them focused very [18:09] similarly to what we have now with the [18:11] river coming down. And the way it did it [18:13] and Ryan brought it up. He said, "It [18:14] looks like a duck being eaten by a [18:17] fish." And I couldn't get it out of my [18:19] mind after he said that's all I could [18:21] see. Um, now I don't have a lot of [18:23] experience in in uh design or anything [18:25] like that, but I do have experience in [18:26] pitfalls of deciding things for the [18:28] public. Could you go back to the pallet, [18:30] please? [18:34] There. Go back. One of the things I [18:36] wanted to be very clear on is that we [18:38] have the colors identified that will be [18:39] used. I don't want any colors out there [18:42] that show up that we did not vote on, [18:44] right? [18:45] » And so I think we have to be very [18:47] careful that we stay with it. They can [18:48] be moved around however you want to, but [18:51] those are our colors. [18:52] » Yeah, that makes sense. [18:54] » Other than that, I I thought it went [18:56] very well and and uh we [18:57] » Yeah. And it's kind of music to concepts [18:59] A's ears um that when they create brand [19:02] guidelines, they don't want us to [19:04] » Not guidelines, they're rules. [19:06] » Exactly. [19:07] » Yeah. [19:07] » Um Kristen, anything you want to say in [19:10] the audience? Kristen, [19:11] » I just think that [19:12] » Will you come to the mic so we capture [19:14] you on the video. [19:15] » Thank you. First of all, thank you for [19:16] including me. This was absolutely was a [19:18] super cool process to be part of. Um I [19:20] think that Sagatuck has exactly what Tim [19:23] said, a really unique opportunity to [19:25] come up with um a mark a logo that is [19:28] unlike most municipal logos because of [19:30] who we are. Plain and simple. Period. [19:33] Full stop. Right. Um and I think Concept [19:35] Day did a great job in my opinion of [19:38] putting forward something that does give [19:41] that we are the art coast after all, [19:43] right? that playful, creative vibe that [19:45] also um is serious enough that it can be [19:48] on the side of a truck or on your [19:49] letterhead. Uh and I think that just is [19:52] it's so good for us to have a logo that [19:54] honestly doesn't just look like [19:56] everybody else's offtheshelf. Gee, let [19:58] me guess. Will there be a river? Gee, [20:00] let me guess. Will the radone be on it? [20:02] I love those places. So predictable, [20:05] right? And the fact that concept day [20:07] came back with this thing that emi [20:08] embodies um who we are in that spirit of [20:12] artfulness but can still be on the side [20:14] of a truck big um I love that Tim said a [20:17] wink um feels so much like saga tuck [20:20] right elevated and yet we wink you know [20:21] as we get on the street. So all of those [20:23] things and thanks for including me [20:25] because it was just I learned a ton and [20:27] it was a delight to be part of it. [20:28] » That's great. Scott, [20:30] » A couple questions and I'm not sure if [20:31] it's for the committee members or for um [20:33] the concept a folks. Is that derived [20:37] from any existing font? So that's that's [20:41] our own or their own invention. Those [20:43] those letters are are their own [20:44] invention, [20:45] » Right? [20:46] » Um so that would give us and I'm not an [20:48] expert on this. That would give us the [20:50] ability to trademark or copyright it to [20:53] protect it. [20:55] » Concept A. I'll let you I'll let you [20:58] answer the specifics of that, but it is [21:00] a um it's a custom it's a custom logo, [21:04] right? [21:06] » Yes, that's correct. It's [21:08] [clears throat] all hand handdrawn. [21:10] » Okay. [21:11] » Nothing like it exists. So, it's [21:13] 100%able by the city. the fonts that go [21:16] with it too. Um they've done a good job [21:20] of balancing like what are usable font [21:22] fonts that won't cost us as well as this [21:26] is a protectable um identity since it is [21:29] custom. [21:29] » Okay. So I I yeah just to legally [21:32] protect it. I think to a certain extent [21:34] it goes to council member Peterson's [21:35] comment about you know a certain color [21:37] palette that we shouldn't deviate on. [21:40] You know I would want to make sure that [21:41] we that it can't be diluted by others [21:43] copying it. So that was that's my [21:45] primary concern that I'm driving at. I [21:47] don't know. [21:47] » T-shirts. [21:48] » Yeah. [21:48] » Well, precise precisely. I mean, [21:51] frankly, we we should have the t-shirt [21:53] concession. Yeah. [21:55] » You know, merch. I'm all about the [21:57] » Honestly. I mean, we should really I [22:00] mean, I [22:01] » They did one with the hat. It showed it [22:03] on the hat and that was really cool. [22:05] » We um you're 100% right. And we actually [22:08] early on in this process we sort of said [22:10] one of the success criteria would be [22:12] that you love this thing so much that [22:14] you want it on merch. Like that's a [22:16] litmus test of do you relate to this [22:18] identity. [22:19] » So but in order for that to happen we [22:22] have to own it. We can't have [22:23] » Right [22:24] » Random people reproducing it in a way [22:26] that's not [22:27] » What we what we [22:29] » Know this is true for corporations. I'm [22:31] assuming it's true for municipalities, [22:32] but you know the the logo or I mean [22:35] people can when they need to use your [22:37] logo grab it off your website though [22:40] that they're using the official [22:42] » That they will create that ability [22:44] within their guidelines. [22:46] » Yeah. I I just go back to my previous [22:48] job when I worked for BP oil when they [22:50] went from just BP to the the green and [22:52] yellow sunburst. You know, suddenly you [22:54] found a green and yellow sunburst gas [22:57] station in Kazakhstan [22:58] » That wasn't a BP station. That's right. [23:00] » But they've they've found a way to try [23:02] to emulate and copy, you know, what we [23:04] spent, you know, what we spent millions [23:06] on. So, I mean, [23:08] » My I guess my my ask would be, you know, [23:10] can we I think we should find ways to [23:12] protect it. You know, I don't know if [23:13] it's trademark, copyright, what, but but [23:15] I do think we should we should pursue [23:17] that to make sure [23:19] » Concept A can answer. [23:20] » You guys can help us, right? [23:22] » And Jake too might file a trademark for [23:25] this or [23:27] » I don't see any reason why we couldn't. [23:28] Um, IP law is not exactly my ba wick, [23:32] but we have a couple attorneys in my [23:34] office that do a lot of uh trademark [23:37] work and so I'd be happy to to circle [23:40] back with them and see what the steps [23:41] are for getting some protection to the [23:43] logo. [23:44] » I would suggest we take that extra step. [23:46] Um, and the reason I'm saying that is [23:48] because I freaking love it. I think I [23:49] think it's amazing. I I never would have [23:53] I never would have imagined it myself, [23:54] but I love it. It's fantastic. [23:56] » I do too. But I want to sense check that [23:58] because I'm not an artist, nor am I, you [24:00] know, a member of the business [24:01] community. So that's why I'd like to [24:03] also ask Ashley for her gut reaction to [24:05] it. Uh I don't mean to put you on the [24:07] spot, Ashley, but from a CVB [24:08] perspective, what do you think? [24:11] » Happy to be put on the spot. Um I love [24:14] the playful nature of it. I wasn't [24:16] expecting uh to be so pleasantly [24:18] surprised. Um it's great and um I thank [24:21] you to the whole committee for all the [24:23] work you've done. Bravo. [24:27] Jared, [24:27] » I of also have to repeat what Ashley [24:30] said. Um, I wasn't expecting to be so [24:33] pleasantly surprised. As most people in [24:34] the community know, I'm very judgmental [24:37] and and I was I wasn't expecting um such [24:40] a wonderful uh uh uh font to hear that [24:43] it was done handdrawn [24:46] uh and that and that um it's our own [24:48] font rather than a font I can find uh on [24:51] on on uh on stock somewhere. Um, uh, [24:55] it's easy to read and it's fun and I'm [24:58] seeing the water in there. I'm seeing [25:00] the nature in there with the curves and [25:02] things. [25:03] » Um, I'm very pleasantly surprised and [25:05] um, and uh, and kudos to um, Kristen. I [25:09] I know a great creative uh, mind there [25:12] uh, uh, that helped out and everybody [25:14] that helped uh, to make this happen. I [25:16] think it's I'm very very happy. you [25:18] know, [25:18] » Could you go to the where it shows the [25:20] three municipalities cuz [25:22] » And that's another thing and like [25:24] somebody was saying earlier was that uh [25:26] you know it's not the typical you know [25:28] block lettering too much spacing in [25:30] between uh you know uh it's not typical [25:34] and and I think that's perfect for [25:35] Saget. I just think, you know, also, you [25:38] know, in addition to the the very, you [25:40] know, strong association to the river [25:42] and the na and nature, you know, it's [25:44] got a really cool almost 60s [25:47] counterculture vibe, which is, you know, [25:50] very talk. [25:50] » Yeah. Which is very sag, you know, arts, [25:53] diversity, you know, you know, a bit [25:55] quirky. So, it's got all that sort of I [25:57] mean, I actually like briefly looked at [25:58] the Rolling Stone magazine logo because [26:00] it kind of reminded me of that ever so [26:02] slightly. But it's it's different [26:03] though. It is. But it's it it's got that [26:06] it's got that great kind of vibe that I [26:08] think a lot of people expect of Saget [26:10] with the arts and sort of the diversity [26:11] and so I think it's great [26:13] » Of of nostalgia much like our last logo [26:16] that was done in the 80s had a kind of a [26:18] nod to nostalgia. So I like how you kind [26:20] of kept that nod but then elevated it [26:23] updated it. [26:24] » Yeah. [26:24] » Yeah. [26:25] » I love it. And I also love that you know [26:27] the pallet sign goes right with that [26:29] logo. the you know the other sign we [26:31] have at North I mean that I think it [26:34] says Sagatuk and I love looking at it's [26:37] like we it kind of captures who we are [26:40] where we are [26:41] » So [26:42] » And it's quirky and again easy to read I [26:44] mean it's it's Sagatuck you just see it [26:47] there it's not something you have to [26:48] fight to see like not nec I don't see it [26:50] with Sagatuck or Douglas or Township or [26:52] Douglas but a lot of logos you know it's [26:55] hard to read because they're being too [26:56] artsy [26:57] » Yeah and I really like leaning into you [27:00] know the the the name the word because [27:02] you know there's like I think there's [27:04] only two sagatucks in America and is the [27:05] one that I think most people know of and [27:07] you know it's it's it's a kind of a [27:09] interesting word it's a native it speaks [27:11] back to the Native American connection [27:13] you know to the rivermouth communities [27:14] here I think it's just I I think it was [27:16] great that the team really leaned into [27:19] the name as opposed to [27:22] » Icons or it was really good [27:24] » It's clear and and I take put anything [27:27] away with Saga Douglas what however they [27:29] combined us three of them or anything [27:30] but we're saga talk [27:31] » We are I mean and it's it's it's perfect [27:34] » It's great [27:36] » When you license this for a sweatshirt [27:38] I'm buying the first one [27:40] » I think it could be number [27:44] the first one is not on counselor [27:47] » Again like keep the top secret until [27:48] Jake lock locks it down [27:50] » That'll be $300 each [27:52] » You might have to have arrangements with [27:54] different t-shirt companies in town to [27:56] have to be the official supplier of the [27:57] saga talk. Da da da. [27:59] » Yeah. [27:59] » Yeah. No, for sure. [28:00] » Yeah. Welcome, [28:01] » Russ. [28:03] » And we're journed. [28:04] » Yeah. [28:06] » Perfect. [28:07] » Look, Russ, we all like it so far. [28:10] » Hi. [28:11] » You didn't get to feel the whole [28:13] presentation up [28:15] » When it's posted. You'll have to watch [28:17] the whole [28:21] » One last thing. I think Scott, to your [28:22] point about protection, um, we'll work [28:26] with, you know, concept A, we can chat [28:28] about this afterwards, but, [28:31] uh, usually, you know, you can go in [28:34] once we protect it, you can go in and [28:35] pull it off. We may just not want to [28:38] have a version that is without city of [28:41] period [28:43] » Because I'm totally making this up. But [28:45] if we had a drugstore that wanted to [28:46] pull that off and say we're Sagatuck [28:48] drugstore or Sagatuck Brewery, you could [28:50] pull that off and say [28:51] » That's a really good point. [28:52] » Yeah. [28:53] » City locked up on it, [28:55] » That may give us even a little more [28:57] protection. [28:57] » Right. Good point. And now that we're [28:59] kind of going into this a little bit, I [29:02] would almost want to well, I think we're [29:04] good particularly with the city of [29:05] Sagatuck and perhaps the date as well, [29:08] but it is there are some similarities to [29:10] the the um kind of rainbowy sign over by [29:14] Wix Park. I don't know if the font is [29:17] that close or not. I think it's okay. I [29:20] don't know about [29:20] » Oh, I know what you're talking [29:21] » I know what you're talking about, but [29:23] » But without seeing it without seeing it [29:25] » Oh, right. Right. Right. without seeing [29:27] it. I can't say if it's if there's an [29:29] issue there or not. [29:30] » I think I don't think so. Um it's it's a [29:34] vibe of nostalgia, but I think it's not [29:36] an overlap. [29:37] » Okay. Gotcha. [29:39] » And [29:39] » Do we need to put a trademark or somehow [29:42] put something in, you know, itty bitty [29:44] before we put this on the website even [29:46] to share [29:46] » The TM underneath the [29:48] » Yeah. to share with the packet. I mean, [29:51] because we were going to post all of [29:52] this, right? [29:53] » Okay. I can I can follow up with you [29:55] right after this. Can Do we have like a [29:58] a day before we post or how long do we [30:00] have? [30:00] » Yeah, you guys. [30:01] » Yeah, we can get the packet out on [30:02] Friday and have Yep. [30:03] » Or could you put like a watermark on it [30:05] or something? You know, [30:07] » I don't know. Can you [30:09] » I'm happy to follow up. [30:10] » Okay, that'd be great. [30:11] » I think usually with IP, the fact that [30:13] Council Update created this for us, I [30:15] think we're pretty much protected [30:17] already, but then there's some more [30:18] steps we can take, I think, just to [30:19] avoid copycats and the like. I think I [30:22] I'm not sure that there's a real risk of [30:24] like suddenly [30:25] » Yeah, I know. Well, you never know. [30:28] » Yeah. Well, fab I mean [30:30] » The merchandise shops around town [30:33] that I mean [clears throat] that [30:35] » It is a is a real possibility, you know, [30:38] so Oh, I think it's guaranteed that [30:40] they're going to want to do it. [30:40] » Yeah, definitely. [30:42] » Good point. [30:42] » Oh, great. So, what are the next steps [30:45] for council Brian? So next steps are uh [30:48] we'll plan on having um your approval of [30:51] this on the agenda for Monday and then [30:53] assuming you uh approve then concept day [30:55] is going to kind of put together that uh [30:58] set of brand guidelines uh to then bring [31:00] back that that final package for you to [31:02] to sign off on um as well. But we want [31:05] to make sure that everybody's there's an [31:07] approved logo and uh and everything else [31:09] before they they kind of do that that [31:11] next step with the work. So [31:13] » Great. Well, thanks to the team. What a [31:16] great job all of you. Um, [31:17] » Home home run. [31:19] » Great. Well, that takes us to discussion [31:21] item C, which is the right-of-way permit [31:23] application, no less important uh for [31:25] 731 uh Pleasant Street. Thank you, [31:28] Grayson. Thanks, Kristen, for joining [31:30] us. [31:32] » Thanks, Tim. [31:35] » Not less important, but a little less [31:37] exciting. Um, our applicants proposing [31:39] some rightway installations. Uh, and [31:41] that kind of includes several retaining [31:43] walls, some hardcaping, uh, redoing the [31:46] driveway, and adding um a staircase. Uh, [31:50] historically, um, like many of the homes [31:52] on Pleasant Street, it's contained [31:54] landscaping, a staircase, some water [31:56] features, boulders, and some other [31:58] improvements that are located in the [31:59] rightway. [32:01] Um while the proposed improvements uh do [32:04] represent a significant private [32:05] investment within the city's rightway, [32:07] the steep slope that's on Pleasant [32:09] Street uh extending from the edge of the [32:12] pavement uh really substantially limits [32:14] the likelihood of the area being needed [32:16] for future public use. Uh from a [32:19] planning and zoning perspective, there [32:20] were no significant concerns. Uh after [32:23] speaking with our city engineer, he [32:24] noted some minor drainage modifications [32:27] uh which could easily be addressed uh [32:29] through an amendment of the plan. uh and [32:31] he was in agreement that the final [32:33] decision on the installation is really [32:35] policy leaning for the council. Uh as [32:38] there are no objections from the [32:39] engineer standpoint either. Uh I put the [32:43] council considerations for the rideway [32:45] installations on page 18 of your packet. [32:47] Uh and the applicant is also online to [32:50] help answer any questions. [32:54] » Chris, [laughter] you know a little bit [32:56] about the street, huh? We live right [32:58] across the street from this and I I [33:00] think this is is an exciting proposal [33:02] where I'm where I'm going to raise my [33:04] questions. I don't know how many years [33:06] ago there was a seven inch rain within a [33:08] certain amount of time and if I remember [33:10] almost all of the houses along there had [33:11] to go back in and do resupport because [33:14] it weakened quite a few things. Um this [33:17] is very steep and what will the fill be [33:22] to create these terraces going down? [33:24] Where will the fill come from? Because [33:26] when you look off of Pleasant, there's [33:28] maybe from here to there and then it's [33:30] straight down. But they're going to [33:31] terrace that. [33:32] » Where will the fill come in? I don't [33:34] want any I sure there's no guarantee, [33:36] but you know, I wouldn't want any kind [33:38] of u sinkhole [33:41] » Happening, [33:41] » Right? [33:42] » I believe there are engineers online, so [33:43] I'll let him fully answer that. Um but I [33:45] do want to note that those were the [33:47] engineers concerns as well. So that was [33:49] something he felt they could work [33:50] through. [33:50] » Okay. [33:55] is Eric. Eric is uh he's on his he's [33:59] still driving. He got caught up in some [34:01] traffic. He said, "Hi, Eric. Can you [34:06] can you fill in on this the filling [34:12] » Me [34:14] being safe?" [34:16] » Yeah. [34:17] » All right. Can uh can everybody [34:21] Yeah. [34:24] Okay. All right. So, yeah, sorry, I was [34:26] caught up in an accident on 31 there [34:28] trying to get through Holland, but I am [34:30] right around the corner and I'll be [34:31] there in a second. Um, but I can explain [34:36] the fill situation. So, the engineering [34:38] that goes behind this wall is all three [34:43] quart by half inch crushed limestone. [34:46] Um, so there that is going to be a very [34:50] porous material. uh no fines. Uh we use [34:54] a geoexile fabric to be able to separate [34:58] the clean aggregate from the native [35:01] soils. So when we have situations where [35:05] there's a uh a large amount of rain, [35:09] we've got the clean aggregate that [35:12] washes the rain through the engineering [35:15] behind the wall. And then we have [35:17] footing drains on all of the walls to be [35:20] able to alleviate any hydraulic pressure [35:23] that [35:24] could potentially still be there. Um [35:29] the massive amount of tonnage of the [35:33] stone that's used behind the wall, we've [35:35] never seen any hydraulic pressure be [35:38] created, but uh the footing drains are [35:41] there for added security. [35:45] Will the driveway stay the same? [35:48] » The driveway footprint will stay the [35:50] same. Um it's just the additional [35:53] parking areas uh within the rightway [35:56] that we're going to create [35:58] » To create some off [36:01] » At 12:00. That's our picket fence right [36:04] there. Yeah. [36:05] » So, we you know have have seen lots of [36:08] rain and everything and I I haven't [36:10] noticed any problems since the that [36:11] time. forget how many years ago it was [36:13] and short up. Uh but I did have a [36:16] concern about what the fill would be if [36:18] you're especially going to put a parking [36:19] lot there or parking for how many cars? [36:23] » One car. [36:23] » Just one car. There's going to be one [36:25] just one more space added to the sorry [36:28] the front um right around where the [36:31] mailbox is in the front between the that [36:35] we're going to have that space between [36:38] the retaining wall and the street. [36:41] There'll be just one one lot or one [36:44] space for one car. [36:46] » Thanks. Hi neighbors. [laughter] [36:51] » That that alleviates my concerns. Yeah, [36:54] » Scott. [36:55] » Um I trust staff's recommendation and I [36:59] and I trust the engineering. Um my only [37:02] question is um you know and it's it's [37:05] about the new parking pad and the new [37:06] and the slope to the new pad which would [37:08] be in this the uh city's right of way on [37:12] Pleasant Street. So that's the closest [37:13] part to Pleasant Street. Um, what kind [37:17] of precedent does this create as we move [37:20] forward with what is going to be a very, [37:22] I think, difficult and complicated [37:24] project on Park Street [37:26] » Where we have the the need to make it [37:30] safer for the public to to to navigate [37:33] Park Street and we probably are going to [37:36] have to deal with [37:38] new parking pads that are in the [37:40] easement, you know. So suddenly we're [37:41] going to approve one for the for the [37:43] easement and we're going to probably be [37:45] doing the opposite. I would suspect I [37:48] can't say that as a matter of fact, but [37:51] we know that there are pads and [37:54] driveways in the city's easement that [37:56] are going to be problematic as we move [37:58] forward on the Park Street project. So [37:59] how do we square these two issues? Yeah, [38:02] I think this uh street is unique um in [38:05] that I don't you know there's just no [38:08] room um first of all as you know we [38:10] approved no parking on that street on [38:12] the actual street because it's just too [38:14] narrow right [38:15] » Um on that side of the street you know [38:18] there's not even room to put a sidewalk [38:20] or any kind of anything so it's it's [38:22] almost like it's not usable by the city [38:25] um as far as what I would believe to be [38:28] true I think it's just a different [38:30] situation with Park Street [38:32] Yeah, but it's a it's a good point. [38:34] » You make a valid point. And you know, [38:35] the no parking on park on Pleasant [38:38] Street, you know, which was which was [38:39] unpopular. Um, but it was at the request [38:42] of the fire department. Um, so I guess [38:45] this might be a time for, [38:48] you know, Jake to appine if if if, you [38:51] know, we're setting ourselves up for [38:52] complications on, you know, another [38:55] street, a busy street like that is a [38:57] very, you know, much different traffic [38:58] flow, but nevertheless, we'll have some [39:00] similar issues on [39:02] » City. [39:03] » Well, I think there's always, you know, [39:08] room for complication when you get these [39:10] kind of requests. But the good thing is [39:11] that each of these requests are going to [39:14] be evaluated on their own merits. So the [39:18] the council has a list of [39:23] » I'm sorry. I think Eric, you might still [39:25] have your phone on and I'm getting the [39:26] audio fed back to me. [39:30] » I wanted to say I agree totally with [39:32] Lauren. I'm very familiar with that [39:34] property. I knew the previous owners and [39:36] I know the owners of the properties on [39:38] both sides. um there would be never a [39:41] way to make a a sidewalk or to widen the [39:44] road um on that side of the street [39:47] anyway. Um so I would feel comfortable [39:50] um with saying yes. [39:51] » Well, in in in terms of establishing, [39:54] right, the thing that I think is [39:56] important for the council to do is just [39:58] identify the the special characteristics [40:02] that that are pushing the council in the [40:04] direction of approving this request [40:06] where where other requests might be [40:08] denied. And so I mean what I got out of [40:10] the staff report and and what council [40:12] member Muny was just pointing out is the [40:14] the extreme grade you know that is [40:17] unique to that property and it also [40:18] makes that part of the rightway very [40:21] ills suited for public improvements. [40:24] Um you know things of that nature so [40:28] long as there are valid reasons you know [40:29] why the city is is granting this request [40:32] and not granting other requests. I [40:34] wouldn't be concerned about the [40:35] precedent because again each request is [40:38] is taken on its own merits. [40:40] » Okay. Thanks Jake. That's that's what I [40:42] need to hear. So I have no further [40:43] concerns. [40:45] » Thank you Madam Mayor. This may be a [40:46] stupid question but don't most driveways [40:49] intrude upon the public rightway. [40:53] I mean when they go from the street to [40:54] the to the house they're going across [40:57] the public rightway every time. [40:58] » Right. [41:00] » So [41:02] yeah I don't have a problem with it at [41:03] all. Other questions, discussion points, [41:05] Russ? [41:06] » Yeah. Um, so looking at the staff [41:08] review, the page um, 17, the last [41:12] paragraph, the city engineer indicated [41:14] that allowing the proposed patio, [41:16] stairs, landscaping, and parking [41:17] improvements within the Pleasant Street [41:18] rightway is primarily a policy decision, [41:20] which I agree with. Um, the proposed [41:23] improvements do not appear to [41:24] significantly increase existing [41:26] encroachments and are not anticipated to [41:27] interfere with future road or utility [41:29] improvements, which is we've we've been [41:30] talking a little bit about that. [41:32] accordingly no objections from an [41:33] engineering standpoint. So um as it also [41:36] says in the recommendation one of the [41:37] council considerations is to make sure [41:39] that the um you know either in this case [41:42] the engineer or staff department sign [41:44] off on this. My concern is two there's [41:46] twofold. One is that this doesn't appear [41:50] to create a larger issue than there [41:52] might already be based on some of the [41:53] questions are coming from council member [41:54] Peterson who's you know seen this [41:56] property for a long time. That would be [41:58] my concern because you've still got [42:00] issues going down the hill down to Lake [42:02] Street as well. So, there's a lot of [42:04] runoff and there's been issues with [42:06] properties over on State Street with [42:07] runoff and I don't know that this [42:08] contributes to that at all. I'm not [42:10] saying that. But that's where my concern [42:12] is. And then if we have sign off from [42:14] everybody that none of those issues are [42:15] going to continue to be issues or this [42:17] is going to contribute to it, then I I [42:19] will trust the engineering opinion. From [42:21] a policy standpoint, as I think Jake has [42:23] mentioned, you know, we have a lot of [42:26] these situations. I think about the [42:27] heartscaping over on Simonson. We want [42:29] to be careful because [42:32] they put there that hardcaping was put [42:34] in for I think appearances or aesthetics [42:37] as opposed to this is for just usability [42:39] of the property and also protecting the [42:41] property with the retaining walls etc. [42:43] So I I just want to make sure that we're [42:45] not putting ourselves in a position of [42:46] causing a risk at Simonson or other [42:48] properties on Park Street or other areas [42:50] that we have to look at that this is [42:52] unique enough that we can say this is a [42:54] very unique permitted right of way, [42:57] » Right? [42:57] » And it needs to be done in such a way [42:59] that it doesn't open us up to risk in [43:01] other areas. [43:02] » Is it right above you? [43:04] » Yes. [43:05] » So you're hoping that it works, too? [43:07] [laughter] [43:07] » Yeah. I mean, obviously the drainage [43:09] definitely needs to be addressed to make [43:12] sure um there's no additional problems. [43:15] Um [43:16] » I say we actually we discussed all of [43:18] those concerns as well before kind of [43:20] putting the report together. Uh [43:22] specifically the previously denied uh [43:24] right ofway encroachments. Um and for [43:26] the reasons you mentioned, we felt that [43:28] this one could be appropriate from a [43:29] policy perspective. The notes that the [43:31] engineer made uh did note the historic [43:34] uh flooding of the site and just kind of [43:36] the drainage and how that would work. [43:37] I'm sure the engineer could make that [43:39] sound more professional, but uh those [43:42] were what was noted and so he felt [43:45] comfortable that it could be addressed. [43:46] » How did that lawsuit come out? [43:48] » You remember? [43:50] » Um I believe um the ones down next door [43:54] to me won the lawsuit. So they had to [43:56] fix the drainage issue. So [44:00] » Other questions? [44:03] All right. [44:03] » The only thing I I would just add, you [44:05] know, mayor and council is just that, [44:07] you know, the end of the day, I mean, [44:08] property owners have to understand, too, [44:10] there's a level of risk here for them, [44:11] too. And at the end of the day, it still [44:12] is the city's right away. Um, you know, [44:15] this is not a permanent in perpetuity [44:17] type approval. Um, Grayson's going to [44:20] work with legal to come up with uh [44:22] pretty probably a pretty robust set of [44:24] conditions and uh approval criteria here [44:26] so everybody understands that and what's [44:28] on that what's on the permit. Um um so [44:32] you know worst case scenario in the [44:33] future if there is a need to make some [44:35] sort of improvements in this area. [44:37] Obviously, the city will still have a a [44:38] right uh to do that, but I think your [44:40] your discussion today actually was was [44:42] very good as far as uh kind of [44:44] distinguishing some unique [44:45] characteristics of the property and how [44:46] it differs from some others you've [44:47] denied, as well as some others that you [44:48] might have to make some changes on uh [44:50] along Park Street as we get into that [44:52] project more. So, [44:55] great. Anything else before we wrap this [44:57] up? Okay. Um that takes us to the public [45:01] comment period. Um, anyone in the room [45:05] wish to make a public comment? Could be [45:06] about anything at all. [45:09] Okay. Uh, anyone online wish to make a [45:12] public comment? [45:14] » Um, yes. [45:15] » Oh, yes. Okay. [45:17] » It's still looking for my hand up there. [45:22] » There you go. [45:22] » There he is. [45:23] » All right. [45:25] Um, I appreciate the time you everybody. [45:28] Um, we are definitely, you know, we're [45:30] wanting to make a large investment in [45:32] our property there. Um, we are looking [45:35] forward to enhancing the landscaping and [45:39] the street. Um, we are, um, this [45:45] drainage is a huge factor that we are [45:48] considering with this whole project. Uh [45:51] right now there's a lot of water that [45:53] comes directly into our driveway from [45:55] the street and we have our we have no [45:58] drainage. Everything is just kind of [45:59] reabsorbed through the sand there. It's [46:02] really pretty poor. Um there are [46:04] drainage lines. So um we are looking to [46:08] yeah connect to all these drainage lines [46:11] and make sure everything um drains [46:13] appropriately. Um, we're looking forward [46:16] to it and this is our home and looking [46:19] forward to enhancing it as much as we [46:20] can. We appreciate your help. [46:24] » Great. Thank you. [46:25] » Yeah. [46:26] » Any other public comments? Yeah. [46:28] » Add to that as well. [46:29] » Sure. If you could um say your name and [46:33] » Yes. My name is Eric Rosendall with [46:34] Lakeshore Property Services. Uh the [46:36] contractor looking to do the project at [46:38] 731 Pleasant. Um yeah, the drainage was [46:41] a big issue. One of the first things [46:43] that we looked at, uh, Christopher had [46:47] let us know, Christopher and Louis had [46:48] let us know that there was no drainage [46:50] for the driveway. So, that's why the [46:52] cement in the driveway be removed so we [46:54] can put in proper drainage to be able to [46:57] get that down to the bottom of the hill. [46:59] Put in some infiltration areas so that [47:01] we can get that and it's not just [47:03] running off. Um, the patio area and [47:06] everything, we know that's going to [47:07] create more impervious surface uh, with [47:10] a lower patio area. So, we've got a [47:12] drainage system planned for that as [47:14] well, so we can infiltrate and then all [47:16] the excess water if there is a 7-in [47:18] flood that can be then piped down to the [47:21] lower area. Um, we've done these sorts [47:24] of retaining walls many times. There's a [47:27] ton of engineering that goes behind [47:29] them, a ton of grid and uh geoexile [47:32] fabric. So, it's going to be a very [47:34] involved process, but we know through [47:37] all the steps that we've taken in the [47:38] past that we can make this stable and be [47:41] able to hold everything in place with [47:43] whatever water is thrown at it. [47:45] » Great. Thank you. [47:46] » Yeah. Any questions? [47:48] » Okay. Anyone else online? [47:52] » Okay, that closes public comments. That [47:54] takes us to council comments. Chris, do [47:56] you want to start? No comments, mayor. [47:57] Okay. Gross. [47:58] » No comments. Thank you, [48:00] » Scott. Uh just compliments to the [48:02] branding team on their presentation. [48:04] » Greg agree. [48:05] » Uh just uh uh real quick, I would like [48:07] to um uh uh say congratulations to the [48:10] property owners and to the uh to our [48:12] river, the city of Sagatuck for the [48:14] grant that was received uh from Eagle [48:17] for the removal of the um the gas tank [48:20] at River Market, what we knew as River [48:22] Market. They received a $1 million grant [48:24] from Eagle to remove that and clean up [48:26] that mess. and which is great news for [48:29] the property owner, but I think it's [48:30] also good news for the residents here [48:32] and for the uh health of our river. So, [48:35] I think that was a great thing and and [48:38] uh just wanted to denote that. [48:39] » Great. Thanks, Gregory. [48:41] » Nothing further, Mayor. [48:42] » Yeah, I'm just going to say one more [48:44] time, I love the logo. I think it was [48:45] great work. Very creative. It's always [48:49] it's just great to see it come together [48:50] and I'm excited. So, with that, who [48:53] would like to make a motion to adjurnn? [48:55] » I'll make a motion to adjurnn. [48:56] » Second. All in favor say yes. Yes.
