development.
[1:06] And so staff's reviewed it and is
recommending approval.

is the Verk
[2:24] substation.

[2:28] little over an acre property
where the city
[2:32] purchased property for a

[2:36] substation [snorts]
to serve this area of the city.
[2:40] The plat is primarily just to show
dedication of right-of-way.
[2:46] There is some landscaping that will be
part of the site plan
[2:51] that will be put in along the road,
but the remainder of the property will
[2:55] be
subdivided at a future time when that
[2:59] property owner submits application.
So, staff is recommending approval.

progress with the site plan approval,

substation, it's likely that we'll bring

is an appropriate zone for the property.
[3:36] Incidentally, power substations are
permitted use in the industrial zone as
[3:40] well, but that's something that I would
guess probably will happen sometime in
[3:43] the next few months.
