a resolution of Tooele City
[1:20] Redevelopment Agency
approving an agreement with Broken Arrow
[1:24] L Incorporation for the 1200
West [clears throat] storm drain and
[1:30] roadway
field project presented by City Engineer
[1:34] Mr. Paul Hanson.

[1:37] By resolution RDA resolution 2026-03,
the RDA did a purchase sell agreement
[1:44] [clears throat] for certain property
down in the city's um business park
[1:48] area.
Uh I don't have a larger image, but
[1:52] Letner Palma would be just to the right
of this property.
[1:56] And and the Mountain West vinyl products
would be just to the top and left.
[2:03] Part of the agreement in that resolution
was that the city would place fill in
[2:08] that existing
borrow pit that we use as a storm drain
[2:12] channel

[2:13] » down near the railroad.
That would also require approximately
[2:18] 400 ft of 48-in diameter storm drain
pipe.
[2:22] The project was put out for public bid.
We had seven bidders submit bids back to
[2:27] the city.
And Broken Arrow was lowest responsive
[2:31] responsible bidder in the amount of
$340,512.80.
[2:37] Um
we would recommend to the RDA approval
[2:42] of that contract so that they
[clears throat] can get started and get
[2:44] this done before winter comes. If we
have snow, we're praying.
[2:48] Um and we would also request as is
typical of 5% contingency. Whenever you
[2:54] start working in undeveloped land, you
sometimes find things you didn't
[2:58] anticipate.
That 5% contingency that we're asking
[3:02] for would be $17,000.
That would only be spent if needed. It
[3:07] would not just be
thrown into it, but your authorization,
[3:11] that's what the request for is to you.
