1
00:00:07,280 --> 00:00:11,740
I have a little brother and he tells me every single day that he's so proud of me.

2
00:00:11,960 --> 00:00:15,840
For me, the uniform, I mean with my friends, it doesn't make a difference.

3
00:00:16,140 --> 00:00:19,880
When you have that uniform on, you are representing the ROTC program.

4
00:00:22,240 --> 00:00:26,320
It's not a track to go into the military, like I don't really have an interest to go into the

5
00:00:26,320 --> 00:00:26,560
military.

6
00:00:29,010 --> 00:00:33,570
One of the best things about ROTC that I think is the community.

7
00:00:33,570 --> 00:00:35,690
Ready, roll, arms.

8
00:00:36,430 --> 00:00:37,450
I came to ROTC.

9
00:00:37,590 --> 00:00:38,970
I had like a bunch of friends that I knew.

10
00:00:39,090 --> 00:00:40,930
Because most of my friends that I was in ROTC class with,

11
00:00:41,030 --> 00:00:41,970
I knew from middle school.

12
00:00:43,790 --> 00:00:44,410
Off right!

13
00:00:44,790 --> 00:00:49,390
I see myself being a very high ranking officer

14
00:00:49,390 --> 00:00:50,050
in the Air Force.

15
00:00:50,270 --> 00:00:51,250
I could become a pastor.

16
00:00:51,450 --> 00:00:53,470
In 10 or 12 years, I might see myself

17
00:00:53,470 --> 00:00:54,530
working for political office.

18
00:00:54,750 --> 00:00:55,870
I'm not only in Joe to see.

19
00:00:55,950 --> 00:00:56,870
I'm in theater.

20
00:00:57,150 --> 00:00:57,810
I'm in band.

21
00:01:01,140 --> 00:01:02,480
I went and joined the drill team.

22
00:01:02,580 --> 00:01:03,260
And that's a lot of fun.

23
00:01:03,320 --> 00:01:04,320
And now I'm one of the commanders.

24
00:01:04,320 --> 00:01:05,640
and I'm having a blast.

25
00:01:05,840 --> 00:01:07,600
I spent some of my Saturdays going to Jill Meathie

26
00:01:07,600 --> 00:01:08,640
doing community service.

27
00:01:09,060 --> 00:01:09,420
We

28
00:01:15,470 --> 00:01:18,310
will be joining the courts with TC3.201.5,

29
00:01:18,450 --> 00:01:19,650
respectful, professional, mission-like,

30
00:01:19,750 --> 00:01:20,730
spiritual areas, sir.

31
00:01:21,110 --> 00:01:23,270
At the award ceremony, I got the rank

32
00:01:23,270 --> 00:01:24,910
and I was honestly crying.

33
00:01:25,170 --> 00:01:27,330
We make sure that 100% of our seniors graduate

34
00:01:27,330 --> 00:01:29,390
and move on to our institution of higher learning,

35
00:01:29,510 --> 00:01:31,470
whether it's college, the military, the training

36
00:01:31,470 --> 00:01:31,750
school.

37
00:01:34,260 --> 00:01:37,080
We're actually a really fun and a really inclusive family.

38
00:01:38,120 --> 00:01:40,200
And it's honestly just a huge group

39
00:01:40,200 --> 00:01:44,520
people who love each other. I think ROTC really prepared me for becoming a

40
00:01:44,520 --> 00:01:49,200
citizen. And so ROTC, I like to think about it as a school inside of another

41
00:01:49,200 --> 00:01:49,660
school.

42
00:01:51,990 --> 00:01:56,950
I have really enjoyed it. We want to represent the best of society, like the

43
00:01:56,950 --> 00:01:58,490
best the new generation can be.
