[9:47] Call the meeting to order. Uh, approval of the agenda as presented. [9:54] » I will approve that. >> Thanks, Garnet. All those in favor? [9:58] Opposed? Carried. Okay. We have um some additions [10:03] to the agenda. We have to add a closed um session. So 1.0 Z will be a tax [10:10] agreement and some negotiations. So, need approval [10:16] of the with the additions. >> I will. [10:18] » Thanks, Bruce. All those in favor? Opposed? Carried. Uh, previous council [10:24] meeting minutes of July 21st. >> I'll do that. [10:28] » Thanks, Robin. All those in favor? [10:32] Opposed? Carried. We have a delegation at 9:30. groups coming in to talk about [10:37] a Irma wildlife trail and new business egg service department. [10:45] » Here comes [10:49] » morning. [10:54] So, everybody has the report there. Any questions or comments [11:02] or [clears throat] anything you'd like to you guys would like to add? Gals? [11:08] » Yeah. Roots was July this year. Good. >> Perfect. Yeah. Roll roots was July this [11:14] year on a Wednesday. So that was a good success. Again, we were um at capacity [11:19] on registration. We had a lot of work kind of preparing for our ASB field [11:23] visit. So that was this past Monday on August 10th. So that went uh quite well. [11:28] We don't have too too much to kind of follow up on with that. So, it was nice [11:33] the board was able to join us for the morning as well. Our new mix and load [11:37] pad that was approved at the planning meeting earlier this year is uh all [11:40] complete at the recck shop and in use and uh public works has helped us out on [11:45] a couple projects over the past month. Um including installation of a [11:48] ventilation system on our new rack control seat can and um helping out [11:52] getting our boat drying unit uh put together and installed out at Clear [11:56] Lake. So, that's officially operational as of this past Friday, so you'll expect [12:00] to see a post about that on social media. Um, the bery program is being [12:05] advertised. Um, the calendar contest just closed this past Saturday. So, lots [12:09] of the programs are kind of starting to wrap up for the season. Um, Land View [12:13] got us our canola rotation risk mapping information, so we'll be ready to start [12:16] our club root inspections off of that. Uh the mowing program was completed on [12:21] August 1st and everything's been going pretty smoothly um with our roadside [12:25] spray program. Everything's been completed on rotation. So everyone's [12:29] kind of working on the spot spraying and the touch-ups and inspections in the [12:32] private land projects now. [12:38] » Excellent. Any questions or comments on that? [12:44] » No. Did the um mowing did that get straightened away? I know there was a a [12:49] comment last meeting about that. What's is there a big improvement there? [12:52] » Uh well, it's definitely is something that was happening all over the region [12:56] like speaking with our kind of counterparts in our neighboring [12:59] municipalities. It's it's really just the amount of moisture and how thick and [13:02] lush the grass was. So, it wasn't just uh you know our people here that were [13:07] having a hard time with it. It was it was all over um just with the conditions [13:11] in the ditches this year. Like they they haven't been that thick in a very long [13:14] time. So there's a yeah I don't know if there's really much else that they could [13:18] have done uh to correct it and they tried you know everything that they [13:22] could try but it just the grass condition it was hard to avoid [13:26] unfortunately. >> Yep. [13:31] » Any other questions or comments? >> I' I'd just like to say great job with [13:35] rural roots. I' I've heard a lot of positive things on it. So [13:39] » both of you did an excellent job. So the entertainment was good. [13:42] » Good. Well, thank you so much. Okay, motion to accept the report. [13:46] Thanks, Richard. >> I have one question on the RMA bulletin. [13:50] There's a wellsight spray. Um, are you in do you have information? Do you [13:55] encourage rate payers to mention if they see weed control as an issue on well [13:59] sites or what do you where do we go for? >> Oh, that would that would be good. Um, I [14:02] mean, we do have over 20,000 well sites in the MD, so there's just no capacity [14:08] for us to be able to look at all of that. Um, but if there does seem to be a [14:13] trend of a, you know, a specific company or or issues, it is great for rate [14:17] payers to go ahead and report that to us. Um, the the process is tricky for [14:21] sure. Like I'm not entirely up on how it looks like in the back end with the [14:25] ARCAM orders, but I don't know if it's very easy to get that reimbursement [14:29] back. >> That's what I thought about like [14:31] budgeting for that extra spray and then whether or not we'll get paid for sure. [14:35] » Yeah, it's hard to say. Okay. And what the yeah and like you know you do still [14:38] need to go through the enforcement process with it. So but if there if [14:42] there is a trend um we definitely want to know about you know if there is a [14:45] specific company that there does seem to be ongoing issues with like it's good [14:49] for us to be aware. Okay. Um and then we can kind of investigate if that process [14:52] is a good fit. >> Okay. it's going to make extra work for [14:56] » which is I mean like it's good to address those if someone is [snorts] you [14:59] know there seems to be a company that is specifically not looking after those [15:02] issues and it's impacting producers then we definitely want to know about that [15:06] and and do what we can in that area. It's just the process seems like it [15:10] might be a little bit ownorous. Yeah. >> Um as far as actually getting that [15:13] reimbursement back. >> Thank you. [15:20] » Okay. Richard made the motion. All those in favor opposed carried. Okay. We have [15:27] some RFDs rural roots 2027. >> Yeah. So, as we just touched on our [15:34] past rural roots, so looking ahead to 2027 for hosting. [15:39] » Can I make a motion to go with option one? [15:42] » Thanks, Sean. You want to host the rule roots 2027? Any questions or comments on [15:46] that? I >> If not, all those in favor? [15:50] Opposed? carried. [15:54] » Okay. Northeast Regional Agriculture Service Board Conference. [15:58] » For this, we uh typically do bring an RFD for um if council wishes to [16:02] authorize any additional counselors beyond the board members to attend. Uh [16:06] so oftent times uh a lot of members of council do join for that. We do have our [16:10] five board members which includes two members of council and this is just for [16:14] additional. >> Okay. Any questions or comments on that? [16:19] I'll make a motion to go with uh option one. [16:22] » Okay. Thanks, Robin. >> Yeah. [16:25] » I I think it's good that counselors attend that. There's a lot of good [16:28] information there. >> Yeah. [16:29] » Yes. >> All those in favor? [16:32] » Opposed? Carried. [16:35] » We'll get the uh the agenda sent out to everybody. [16:40] » Uh roadside mowing 2027. So roadside mowing, we went out for our [16:44] RFP earlier this year for 2026. And uh in that there's always the option for [16:50] the MD to extend the contract for additional year uh if they so choose. So [16:55] this is if you wish to op uh exercise that option to extend the contract um to [16:59] 2027 at the same rate at that was uh paid this year at 102 per mile. [17:07] » I'll make a motion we go option one. >> Okay. Thanks, Richard. Any questions or [17:12] comments? If not, all those in favor? [17:17] Opposed? Carried. [17:20] Okay. We have an RFD for our Wayright Chemite contractor. [17:25] » So, this one is our former chemical container site at Wayright there. So, [17:28] we've undergone phase one and phase two environmental site assessments and we're [17:32] ready to go through the final phase, which is the demolition and uh [17:36] reclamation of the site. Uh it was bid on last year and a contractor was [17:40] selected by council in September. Um with the plans were to complete it last [17:44] fall um with our kind of ongoing subdivision [clears throat] issues that [17:48] did get extended into spring and unfortunately that was still ongoing. So [17:52] we finally that's all been resolved. The site is free and clear for us to go [17:56] ahead and do the work. Um but then of course our contract extension had [17:59] expired by then. Um so our contractor is uh that was initially selected by [18:04] council last September is uh available to complete the work and they have [18:08] requested some additional funds to fulfill that contract. [18:14] » Okay. >> So they essentially want double the [18:18] amount to do the same work. >> Uh they are still with this additional [18:22] funds they're still $5,000 lower than the next lowest bid that was bid last [18:27] year. So, I don't think we're going to find a better price. Like, there's still [18:31] they're still lower than the next lowest. And with the cost of fuel, how [18:34] it's gone up, I don't think [clears throat] that we'll be seeing uh [18:38] anything less than that. >> So, did they give any reasoning to the [18:44] price increase? Because it's not, you know, 12% or [18:47] » Well, they would have seen the results last year. They had like pretty [18:50] significantly under bid the project compared to what everyone else had bid [18:54] it. So this puts them a little bit more in alignment with what the next kind of [18:59] folks bid on it, but it is still less. >> So would they have had to move the [19:03] equipment in twice now? >> No, they didn't have to they haven't [19:07] mobilized anything up yet. Um because we were still waiting for that access to [19:11] the site. [19:14] » So I guess I would ask is there a time crunch to get this done if we decide to [19:18] rebid this? it would be nice to get it done. Um, from the time that the phase 2 [19:24] is complete, that was last year, we have three years to complete the work because [19:30] it's now an environmental liability essentially because it's known um on our [19:35] financial statements. So, eliminating this project would then take that off [19:39] our books, but it could still be done next year technically. [19:48] that that much higher. We're not going to get any cheaper. [19:52] » They'll raise their bids again, too. >> Possibly. What do you guys want to do? I [19:58] [clears throat] don't like this increase. It's [19:59] » I don't I don't like it either. >> I don't. But, you know, [20:01] » it sure seems like a good way to extrapolate money from the MD. [20:06] » But having said that, the responsibility on our part to get phase two done in a [20:11] timely manner to proceed is >> there was some hiccups there. [20:16] » [clears throat] >> I don't know. [20:17] » It's going to be higher. >> I realize that. I just [20:23] » Yeah, but we did make them wait a year or two. [20:31] » Yeah, they were available and ready to do it last year and it was kind of on [20:35] our end that it was a delay. >> Y [20:39] » Is this something that could be done in house? [20:42] We looked at it, but it's a pretty big job and that would mean pulling a lot [20:47] off of construction. >> So, our engineering people are they've [20:53] waited a year or two. >> Yeah. Rohigh is our consultant on this. [20:57] So, they did our phase one and phase two and then they would be involved with the [21:00] phase three and then once the excavation is complete, they have to do some [21:03] confirmatory sampling uh just to make sure that everything was removed that [21:07] needed to be removed. Um [clears throat] once that lab analysis comes back, then [21:10] it's the back fill and um adding the top soil back on and then we would be doing [21:14] the seating after the fact. [21:20] » Um I'm not too sure. It's a like it's definitely the hole um because they're [21:24] going to need to take the existing building needs to be demolished. Uh the [21:27] materials need to be separated that needs hauled out to the dump. [21:31] » And then well and then the excavation and then the back fill engraving and all [21:36] of that >> and I think in this case we did have a [21:39] contract with these folks that expired and it wasn't due to their fault. The [21:44] responsibility was on ours. So with that in mind, I I'm fine with contracting it [21:49] out still. And like you said, I don't think we'll get a cheaper price if we [21:52] rebid it. I don't think the price is going to decrease, [21:56] » but motion. >> Thanks, Oscar. [22:01] » Okay, any questions or comments on that motion? If not, all those in favor? [22:07] » Opposed? Carried. [22:09] » Great. Thank you. [22:13] » Thanks, ladies. [clears throat and cough] [22:19] Okay. And the ASB minutes are there for your information. [22:37] And I assume they're coming. [22:45] » Yeah. [22:50] » Yeah. So, >> good morning. How are you? [22:53] They had trouble with >> morning council [22:56] » shield. [22:59] » Morning gentlemen. >> Morning. [23:01] » So we have the director of public works report there. [23:05] Um as Preston settling and any questions or [23:09] comments that anyone has [23:16] had a lot of contractors come through in the last 10 days. [23:20] So boil's complete, line painting's complete, crack sealing's complete. Um [23:25] the cementing we just completed here uh last Friday and chip seal got first top [23:33] coat done on all the new projects except for uh division 3 project. [23:39] » Sounds okay. >> Yeah, you went fishing. So it doesn't [23:43] » Yeah, it's just the way timing was. It's uh been a long go. So obviously next [23:47] time uh contractors in we will chip seal that project and then second coat [23:53] everything else do our single coat and then do a top coat for second coat on [23:58] that project as well and we'll be wrapped up on our contractors [24:02] also greater training uh came in we did that last week it went [24:08] really well received so that was a good day we have [24:14] another one scheduled here in September So, we'll see how that goes. [24:20] Uh, the weather has been somewhat cooperative in the last little bit. Been [24:24] going hard on construction. Uh, we're working on the far east end at the [24:29] start. That's where the some of the largest fills and cuts are. Um, we're [24:34] working through that. So, it's taking us a little time. We've been plagued with a [24:37] little bit of downtime as well. So, currently we have one machine that's in [24:40] Edmonton uh that's in the shop. Just got into the shop today. So last week it was [24:45] not in the shop and just got into the shop actually yesterday. Not today. [24:49] Yesterday. Uh so they're looking at something in the back engine there. That [24:53] was number two. So that's uh believe that's one of our most recent purchases. [24:58] Uh we had one with a joystick that went down. Another one with a I think it was [25:02] a emission sensor or something. So I do believe we have both fitting mechanics [25:07] out there today to uh get these other two machines running. and our 160 uh [25:14] leak on the cylinder again. Something going on in the 160. Yeah, I [25:19] can't remember exactly the details on it. So, and our Kamasu dozer, we had a [25:24] an issue with it as well. So, we this last five days, seven days with [25:28] equipment has been quite interesting. Kind of all piled up at the same time. [25:32] So, hopefully we get through this uh a little bit of a delay here and back into [25:37] her and going hard again. So, as well as we also had uh Sandstar return and do [25:43] some warranty work on uh Range Rover 42. Uh we're yet to do an inspection on [25:49] that. We have a few things in house to do before we call them in and uh return [25:55] and visit with them on site. I think from what I've seen so far, uh [26:01] they've stepped it up and it looks pretty good. Um, but we still have to [26:06] watch some of the uh water drainage issues that we were talked about [26:10] earlier. So, we'll look at that as well. Take that in consideration. [26:14] » And unfortunately, the forecast doesn't Well, fortunately or unfortunately, [26:17] doesn't >> depends how you look at it, right? [26:19] » It's Did we get John Deer back? Those are [26:23] » Yes, it did come back. It came back right after council last [26:26] » Oh, okay. >> last month. So, [26:28] » it's working well. >> Yeah, it's working well. We haven't had [26:31] a glitch in it yet. So, probably coming up close to that first uh you know 200 [26:36] hour oil change getting close now. Yeah. >> Are we starting to get close on getting [26:42] caught up on gravel and roads or are we still June is pretty tough? [26:47] » Yeah, June is a tough month. Um I mean we're we're going every day and and [26:52] doing what we can. So, uh, and then you mix in, you know, our cementing projects [26:58] and, uh, you know, the rolling projects. So, I mean, we got got a lot going on. [27:03] Most of our most of our projects are in the on the east side of the division [27:08] line. So, the contractors on the west side is is only graveling roads, which I [27:13] mean, it's it's still from Peter to feed Paul depending on which year we do [27:16] things and how it works. But, yeah, things are happening. They're going. [27:23] Any other questions or comments? Not somebody want to make a motion to [27:28] accept the report as presented. >> Thanks, Bruce. All those in favor? [27:34] Opposed? Carried. And then our street light [27:38] project in south of town on 65. Uh, one light is installed. Notice the wire has [27:45] been wired to the other pole. So, we'll see when the other lights installed. [27:51] Okay. Looks pretty close to me and completed on that as well. [27:54] » Good. >> That'll make you feel better. [28:00] » Director Director of safety report. >> Morning. [28:04] » Morning. >> Morning. Rick. [28:06] » Um the safety side. I'm sitting in on a few webinars on hazardous materials and [28:11] exposure um put on by ONS. There's another two segments left of that uh [28:16] series. Other than that, it's business as uh usual for safety. Uh for parks and [28:21] wreck, uh continuing to make our water samples at Clear Lake Beach as per HNS. [28:27] Uh met with some seasonals down at Riverdale. Uh discuss some uh possible [28:31] upgrades, some ideas that they wanted to put forward. Um ideas including some [28:36] speed signs, directional signs, um minor stuff like that. Uh I have been uh [28:42] planning and prepping for the kids sport tournament that took place last Friday. [28:45] they've yet to come up with a uh a raised number. Um from what I hear it [28:50] was done, it was over well received really good. So uh we're just looking to [28:54] see what uh what numbers kind of got produced with that. Uh Arm Lake had a [28:58] pump go down uh about a week ago. I was went out there, met up with uh [29:03] electrician. We swapped out a pump that I had uh in the box of my truck, [29:07] reconfigured the control box there. Now it seems like the pump is running on a a [29:11] better, steadier pace. So no issues, no hiccups with that. uh as of yet. Um [29:18] yeah, and then just an update for for council here for our construction of the [29:22] new cook shacks and chain shacks are scheduled to begin at the uh end of this [29:25] month. And then we have the siding for Riverdale clubhouse looking toward the [29:30] end of September and that's when they're going to start just to kind of get get [29:33] away from all the commotion and and all the action that's out there. They kind [29:36] of want to do it when it's a little little quieter, right? So um [29:40] understandable. Uh this time next year we'll have we'll have a brand new [29:44] clubhouse out there with new siding. So >> middle of it [29:47] » I I'm hoping it looks a lot better than it does. Uh no, we're actually going [29:51] with a uh it's it's a Mildred blue, I believe, is the color. Um it's uh I got [29:57] some samples I can show you guys, but no, it'll it'll it'll it'll fit in [30:02] really good out there, I think. So >> Okay. Just with that pump at Arm Lake, [30:08] is is that like a is there a VFD there on the control box? Is there parameters [30:12] set? >> There is. So the so the the existing [30:14] control box that we have there, there's six settings. Only two of them have [30:17] functions. Um I when I went out there on Saturday uh looking over the manual and [30:22] and talking with the electrician, it was sitting on function four, which really [30:25] didn't do anybody any any good. Uh so we matched the hertz of the pump that we [30:30] installed with the uh correct uh setting uh which is setting one with what we [30:34] have. So um everything seems to be kicked in. We're not getting any [30:38] overheating or anything like that. So, uh, we're we're monitoring that and if [30:43] any issues arise, they'll they'll contact me and myself and the [30:47] electrician will go out there again and try to try to make sense of it again. [30:50] » Okay. >> Excellent. [30:53] » Is there new washrooms at Clear Lake, too? [30:58] » No, >> no, no, it was just the the chain shack. [31:03] » And the chain shack. The washrooms. Um, I mean, they they get maintained. We [31:06] have our uh our contractor that does all of Riverdale and Arm Lake. They go out [31:11] there and they clean them up often as well. [31:13] » Uh but nothing nothing in the plan for replacing those as of yet. Um definitely [31:18] something I can look into. >> Yeah, we should. [31:20] » Okay. Then I will >> Are you feeling that we should include [31:23] that in the change rooms? Is that what you're kind of hinting at? [31:26] » I would think. Yeah, because the [clears throat] ones that are there are [31:29] very >> not really good. [31:32] » Yeah. So I think what Mike said like so for the work uh proposed for the the the [31:37] change or the cook shack and the change rooms is already kind of said and done. [31:42] We we're going to get what we're going to get for that. So the washrooms would [31:45] have to be a separate project all all on itself. But I can definitely bring you [31:49] uh bring you a cost. Um and then we can uh we can we put it in for next year's [31:55] budget or I can talk to you a little bit more one-on-one on that. [31:59] » Yeah. Yeah, we should. It would be a little more entailed as well as [32:05] » Yeah. >> Yeah. I I believe that should be a [32:08] separate project all together, but I I'll get some numbers. [32:11] » Yeah. >> Yeah. [32:13] » Okay. Any other questions or comments on the safety report as presented? [32:18] » Not somebody may want to make motion. Thanks, Richard. All those in favor? [32:23] » Opposed? Carried. Um, if I could just talk to [32:28] Preston on the Fabian water problem. >> That happened after I submitted my [32:33] report, so it wasn't included. So, yeah. >> So, last Thursday approximately 8:30 [32:38] a.m. um, one of the actually both VIPs dumped in Fabian, uh, which then shut [32:45] the water system off. Um this occurred while we were filling uh the the [32:53] maintenance truck that was flushing the sewer systems. So uh obviously a little [32:58] bit different dynamic when when you put a demand on the system at least enough [33:03] to to engage the second pump. And uh we had done it the day before had no [33:09] issues. Monday morning or excuse me, Thursday morning we go out there. Uh [33:14] same scenario and for some reason it faulted both VFDs. So I mean we also [33:22] called Battle River Electric in at the same time because we couldn't get the [33:25] VFDs to restart. Uh we did unplug the the PLC system, the ProLogic controller. [33:32] Uh plugged it back in which then restarted the VFDs and the system went [33:37] back online. Electrician came out. Uh basically the the fault on there is a [33:43] parameter that the VFD picks up on and then of course it uh it basically shuts [33:48] down in uh in I guess like a like a a saving mode so it doesn't uh I guess do [33:56] something to your pump or something to the BFD. So, I would assume that because [34:01] of the technology, uh, just things talking back and forth, maybe, you know, [34:06] with the PLC being a little bit older and the VFD being brand new, there's [34:10] some, uh, some issues with that communication. I'm not 100% sure. We [34:14] don't really know for sure, but he was able to uh, prevent that from happening [34:19] again by uh, doing something inside the VFD and programming it. Uh, we did the [34:23] [clears throat] same thing at our other system because they're exactly the same. [34:26] But why it happened, we really honestly don't know. [34:31] So, um, got the system up and running by 9:25. [34:37] Um, we did actually put a notice on the MD website at 9:00 for the boil water [34:41] advisory. Approximately at 10:30, we had door knockers out for the boil water [34:46] advisory. We flushed the system from both uh flush hydrants, checked chlorine [34:52] residuals, then turned around and then we grabbed bacterial samples and then we [34:56] took those to dropped them off. And then the next day we got the information from [35:01] Alberta Health Services that uh everything was good. And then we lifted [35:04] the boil water order after that. Excuse me. Boil water advisory not. [35:09] » So those those door knockers I'm assuming you just grabbed some summer [35:13] students and bang on doors. Do we >> luckily enough they happen to be there [35:16] at the time. So yeah, I was able to do that. Otherwise, [35:19] » that doesn't work. >> Do we leave any literature there on the [35:24] on the door or anything like that or nobody answers, what do we do? [35:27] » Yeah, we stick it in the door. >> Okay. [35:29] » And close it. >> I had one rate payer phone me and say [35:32] they didn't find out till that night. >> Their teenage kids have been using the [35:36] water all day and they were quite concerned about that. [35:39] » Yeah, it's I mean it's tough. Uh can't say for sure exactly how to correct [35:44] that. I'm sure other communities have a lot of [35:47] the same issues. I mean, there's no way Calgary can have a boil water order on [35:50] and knock on every door and hand out to everybody as well. I mean, I know we're [35:54] not the same size, but I mean, obviously, they have people that fall [35:58] through the cracks. We'll have people that fall through the cracks. [36:03] I don't know what to say. We could as part of our uh utility program, maybe we [36:09] could take uh information on that side and then we can have a fan out email [36:14] that'll help cover some of the cracks, but I doubt we'll ever be able to get [36:19] across to everybody. Okay. [36:23] I mean, you could put it in the front door and they use the back door. You can [36:26] put it in the back door and use the front door. I don't know. [36:30] No, I know this person had wondered like with the school buses, they have a group [36:34] text if the bus isn't going to be I mean to put 90 people on a group text is kind [36:39] of [snorts] [36:42] » uh I'm sure it's not impossible. >> It's doable. [36:45] » Yeah. >> Email. [36:46] » Yeah, that could be something that uh [36:50] potentially on on the office side they could look into [36:54] » eliminating your need [laughter] for door knockers. [36:57] » They would be helpful for sure. >> Had a text blast go out to everybody. [37:00] Yeah, >> you need both. [37:03] » I think you would need both still. Yeah, if if they're available. Like you said, [37:06] this time they were right there. [laughter] [37:10] » It was advertised on social media. >> Bruce, [37:14] » yeah. >> Although I know I got three or four [37:19] older rateayers there that don't have computers or that, right? [37:23] » No. >> Okay. Well, I think administration will [37:26] have a conversation about that and maybe look at a way we could enhance or [37:30] improve on that, but for the most part, I agree with you. There's no perfect [37:34] solution for it. So, >> when you bring up the summer students, [37:39] are we able or is it even uh make sense to train them for traffic? [37:43] » You don't know which houses are traffic control. Can they be trained in that way [37:46] or is it a pretty involved procedure or what? [37:52] » I mean, it's not impossible. Um last year we didn't use any traffic control. [37:56] » Yeah. >> So it's it's hit and miss. [37:59] » Yeah. >> Just project specific. Yeah. Very [38:03] project specific. >> Okay. [38:07] Good conversation. Um RFD salt and sanding. [38:14] » You guys got a couple. >> Yeah, I got a truck first. [38:17] » We had a truck first. >> Oh, on mine it shows the Okay, let's do [38:20] the mechanic truck first then. You're uh you're [laughter] right, Mike. [38:23] » You're leading the show here, boss. So, whatever you want to do. [38:26] » Yeah, we'll start with No, I I listen to the people. We start with the mechanic [38:30] truck. [laughter] >> No, that that's D on the thing, not C. [38:35] » Okay. As presented in the planning meeting. This is our mechanic truck. Um [38:40] I went through canoe RMA pricing to uh bring forward uh a couple units for [38:47] council to look at. Uh we are within budget. [38:52] on this proposal. So, we had a truck presented by commercial and a truck [38:56] presented by brand track and trailer, not tractor. Um, the commercial truck is [39:02] a 2026 chassis. The brand truck is a 2024 [39:08] chassis. Uh, the box on both of them are very [39:12] similar. Uh, the commercial truck is a is a super [39:18] cab and the brand truck is a quad cab. So, [39:22] » what kind of trucks are they? >> They're both Ford diesels. [39:25] » Ford? >> Yeah. [39:27] » And we're not replacing a truck. I'm sorry. This is [39:29] » So, we have a 19 I believe it's a 91. >> We're keeping it then. [39:33] » No, we'll put it on. >> Okay. [39:36] » So, it's a replacement, not a >> Okay. You might not have heard it [39:42] because Oscar didn't have his mic on, but he makes a motion to go with option [39:45] one, um, commercial truck, I believe it says. [39:50] » Yeah. >> Okay. Any other questions or comments on [39:53] that mo motion? >> This is coming with new tooling I see in [39:57] there as well. >> Yeah, we added some budget dollars for [40:00] tooling. >> So, it's got a compressor and [40:04] » it has Yes, it has a compressor. >> I'm assuming a crane. Yeah, it has a [40:09] 5500 pound crane. It has compressor. It has a 12vt 24volt booster pack. [40:17] So, um, yeah, it's done up pretty nice. So, [40:22] okay. [cough] Other questions [clears throat] or comments? [40:26] All those in favor? Opposed? [40:30] Carried. Okay. Are you guys doing good with road [40:35] salt now? >> That's Mike. Road [laughter] salt. [40:38] » Well, in our book it says that you're good. [40:40] » They're here. Yeah, we'll we have three RP. We'll get through here. [40:44] » Okay. Road salt and sand mixing. So, okay. So, seasonal road salt and sand [40:50] mixing uh in the past uh I've always used site energy. I have looked a few [40:58] years back for another mixer. I did not check this year for another mixer. We're [41:03] kind of late in the game. something I could look at going forward. Site is [41:07] comes Site Energy comes to our location and does all the mixing and uh they've [41:13] done a pretty good job in the last 20 years. [41:16] » How's the price comparable to last year? >> It's up uh 35 cents I believe 610 last [41:23] year >> with fuel that's fairly [41:27] » fairly negligible. >> Okay, any other questions or comments? [41:32] I make a motion to go with accept this quote. [41:37] » Okay. Thanks, Sean. All those in favor? Opposed? Carried [41:45] chip seal budget increase. So, the square meters are presented at uh [41:50] planning for our 2026 chip seal. Um it's a little bit lower than what we're [41:58] we're getting on site. So we completed the first four projects. [42:05] We have a we have a overage on budget if we continue at this rate. Um so as [42:13] opposed to cancelling one of our single chip projects to stay within budget. Uh [42:18] Tyson and I looked at numbers and decided that if we present an overage to [42:23] council and they approve it, we can stay within budget and continue. [42:29] Okay. So some of these just for a little bit of uh information. So as we approve [42:35] these projects, we're approving them for November for uh chips seal in in the [42:42] beginning of the year. We can maybe look at this process a little differently. [42:45] That will help us out. As we get in there and we we rip the road and work it [42:51] over, we can we can find that we can get a little bit more surface area to [42:55] stabilize, which is probably what council wants. I mean, if if you have an [42:59] 8 meter top, when you look at it, you rip it and spread it and get it ready [43:04] and you have, oh, we can get eight and a half out of this. It makes more sense to [43:08] stabilize eight and a half as supposed to leave it up. So, this is where I ran [43:11] into on one of our projects. We had got a half a meter more than what was given [43:15] to me by the measurement. So, >> which is a good thing. [43:19] » It It's a positive, but it does change numbers. [43:21] » Yeah. So, >> I'll make that motion, Mike. [43:25] » Thank you, Oscar. Good to hear you buddy. [43:28] » Any questions or comments? >> If not, all those in favor? Opposed? [43:35] Carried. >> Okay. Fog seal budget edition as well. [43:39] So in the fog seal, what happened here was uh I made an error in the RFP. [43:45] Uh I used miles as my number but put kilometers in. So [43:50] obviously when you convert miles to kilometers, it's more. So, uh, that's [43:55] where the mistake was made. So, I think we have an overage approximately $8,700 [44:01] or something to the effect. I mean, we had to get the final invoicing in. So, [44:04] we went with the with this number here to cover that for budget. So, it was an [44:09] error in unit of measurement as opposed to uh [44:14] not measuring correctly. >> Okay, I'll make a motion. We go with [44:18] option one. >> This this box seal seems better than [44:22] last time. This is a different product. Well, no. Last year, well, from what you [44:27] saw in your area last time. Yeah. But last year, we used the same product on [44:32] the east end of MD, right? >> And uh this year they [44:36] » It sure seem to seal everything. >> Yeah. It's it's a nice product. It's a [44:40] It seems to be a little thicker. Kind of flows into the low spots between the [44:44] stones. Fills that in a bit. Stays soft. You can go out there next month and can [44:49] fingernail test it and it stays a little softer. [44:52] » Yeah. Okay, >> Richard made the motion to go with [44:55] option one and [clears throat] approve the increase. All those in favor? [45:01] Opposed? Carried. [45:05] Thanks, gentlemen. [45:09] » Have a good day. [45:17] » Yeah, you should. >> Yeah, that's probably a good idea. [45:40] Um, yes, last night I was out doing some road checks, some mowing checks. Found a [45:46] couple signs and I think your mic. [45:50] » Yep. [45:54] Keep it [45:57] » already. [47:18] We have it in our package too though. [47:35] Yes. [47:44] » While they're while they're building uh getting that ready here, we can just go [47:48] around and do in introductions quick if that works. We'll start with our parks. [47:55] Director of [48:06] » Tyson. [48:10] » We met in the lobby. [48:19] » Sean R. >> Robin Leon. [48:34] And then yeah, so just in behind us um working on bringing this up is Stephen, [48:38] our IT guy and Dana is our development officer. [48:47] So we'll just give it a second to come up. So [48:55] It's in the package. >> It was in the package as well. Yeah. [49:32] Perfect. I think we're good. So, thanks for coming in and I'll let you ladies [49:36] run with it. >> Absolutely. So, um the three of us along [49:40] with two other people are Irma trail separate from the village of Irma. We [49:47] are just a volunteer group that has decided there's a little bit of a need [49:53] for a community trail that's multiuse in so we got together and had a meeting [50:01] and uh we created a vision. We just want to try, it might not look exactly like [50:06] this picture, but um we're just trying to create a safe and accessible [50:12] community trail that is going to connect throughout our town and um encourage [50:17] some healthy living and connect our neighborhoods a little bit, support some [50:22] more recreation because right now a lot of it happens on some sidewalks in our [50:26] village, but a lot of it happens on the roads [50:30] and maybe help some tourism with [50:35] celebrate some of that history that we have. [50:40] So, uh we have our mission here and we are going to work with the village of [50:45] Burma. We're hoping to work with you guys as well and uh volunteers hopefully [50:50] not just the five of us but um some other volunteers pretty much show up in [50:56] Irma once they see some of the product that's produced. We're going to trying [51:01] to get some funding either from some local businesses or just fundraising [51:06] ourselves and um then of course once the trail is made it but then we also need [51:12] to maintain it and support it afterwards so we're as [51:20] we have a phase one which is approximately 1 I'll show you after of [51:25] what that would look like we're hoping in one year to have one put down we do [51:30] have very uh longterm phase of a total of six meters. That might be a little [51:37] bit ambitious for us, but um we're going to look at taking four years. We're [51:41] going to see how the fundraising [51:46] um on the next slide we have some goals. These aren't in any particular order, [51:51] but we want to complete the planning. We have not started the planning of it [51:56] other than where we would like to put it. And then we have spoken with company [52:01] that we would um the biggest part is the funding. So [52:06] we got to secure our funding and then we would construct it. We're looking at a [52:10] six foot wide trail and then starting with that first kilometer then [52:16] later four is completing the other sections. We haven't decided an order [52:21] for that. We know which first kilometer we want but we don't know after that. [52:25] And then goal five is to get some community involvement. And we're hoping [52:30] once we put that first down [52:35] benefits them and [52:39] there [52:43] is asking the village to help us. The trail is going to be six feet wide. [52:50] It needs like it's clay base or the existing base dug down. Then on top of [52:56] that either crushed gravel or crushed cementing used for that and the biggest [53:02] cost is the ashalt on top side but there would just be the ashalt [53:07] surface with drainage on each side. We were quoted approximately anywhere [53:12] between $15 to $142 per square meter. That doesn't sound too bad. [53:22] thing. And this one's a little bit smaller. This next slide will be a [53:25] little bit smaller um for you to see and maybe you can look at it yourself later. [53:32] But we have the colorful parts or the places we have talked about maybe [53:36] putting down the after the first section. Um you can see the word school [53:42] there and golf course has a yellow line. If you want to go to the next slide to [53:47] see this is where we want to start. So from the school that bright yellow [53:52] highlighted line over to the golf course or possibly a little bit further to the [53:58] greener. Um the approximate cost could range [54:02] anywhere from $189,000 to $256,000 for that one. [54:08] And the reason for that is our first choice is there right now is there [54:13] aren't any sidewalks coming from our school. And so if you go to the next [54:17] slide, this is the view parking lot from the school. The curb on the right hand [54:23] side is coming out of a staff parking lot where a lot of students walk and [54:28] they walk going towards the east on the road. And at the other end of that road [54:35] is the golf course. And we have a lot of students on Monday nights go to probably [54:40] 30 to 40 students walk along that road to go golfing, carrying their golf [54:44] clubs. And um there's a little bit of a hill you can The second picture maybe [54:49] shows that a little bit more and they just walk straight across the road. We [54:53] thought that would be a good starting place for safety reasons and there's [54:57] also a lot of students daily that walk along that road to [55:01] so that's where our starting place is and if I could just point we would be [55:06] starting in front of this is our museum starting in front of this. [55:16] So that's where we're hoping to start and go to the first our first call. [55:22] So why are we here? Our asks are um we just I guess we want permission to [55:28] proceed because some of this is on MD land. Uh cooperating with you would be [55:34] great as well, but also cooperation from the people who own land in the MD who [55:41] want permission to go and speak with them or if there's a different that [55:45] needs to take place. So ask them to please [55:49] some of it might be on their some of it might be in front of their and then um [55:56] any involvement that you can give us would be great. I know that there is [56:00] apparently a pile of um concrete and perma that can be crushed up and we [56:06] might be able to use that. Not that it's owned by the MD, but something similar [56:10] to that could be something we could look at if we had any way to help us with [56:14] that. So, that would be the last thing. Supplies and tools. [56:19] Right now, we're not able to ask for money, but we're not saying we're not. [56:24] [laughter] But right now, we're just asking [56:28] basically permission to proceed and ask people who live in your guys's [56:34] jurisdiction whether [56:40] on their possibly. So that's all I have to say. [56:48] So they can [56:54] » Yeah, we'll open it up for questions if anybody has any questions or comments. [56:58] What's the price? >> Well, it would be [57:04] 1.5 million if we proceeded with the six phases for the six kilometers total. Um, [57:11] I'm hoping the first kilometer goes down and that might be worth it if that took [57:18] a lot of work. You know, if it's if the fundraising is coming from little bits [57:23] at a time and there not isn't a lot of community involvement and the community [57:27] is activities. [57:33] If it's a struggle to get that first meter done, that might be [57:39] a commitment to the six meters. I feel like we've sort of made a commitment. [57:44] Not that anyone. [57:49] » Okay. It would be at the highest end 1.5 million for [58:01] the first >> when Eddie talked to us um the person [58:07] getting the he said the maximum would be approximately a quarter million dollar [58:14] but he's giving us that highest number if we had to purchase all the gravel. [58:19] If we didn't have any tools used from the village office, let's say, or if you [58:25] had tools, you know, if there was a cut we could use, we had to pay for [58:29] everything all in the 256,000. [58:37] » Okay. I I I think we um like just reading this correctly, you [58:43] guys just want to make sure it's okay to put it within the MD own property and [58:48] that >> you can have permission from the MD to [58:51] go and speak to the residents about putting it on there. [58:54] » So, that's the first step. So, I I guess I'll I'll kind of refer to Preston on [58:59] this as our public works director if we would have any issues or if there'd be [59:03] any liabilities that you could foresee. maintenance is first time line. So in [59:11] your vision, Shelly, um where exactly does this uh multi-use trail is it is it [59:18] adjacent to the road? Is it 3 meters to the north of the road? It looks like [59:23] it's all on the north side, but >> yeah. Um [59:26] » yeah. So is it uh is it along the north side of the the rightway? Is it like [59:32] whereabouts is it? Just out of curiosity. um [59:34] » in your mind and maybe you haven't even thought about that yet which is quite [59:37] possible >> about it because there is some fencing [59:39] that is right side the museum that we wouldn't need to be on the other side of [59:45] that fencing we would be very close to the road in some sections then there's [59:50] also quite a deep ditch where we would almost need to go to the bottom of the [59:55] ditch and then that makes us have to take a few trees out which now [1:00:03] probably into the person's property. So it it might I don't know if it would be [1:00:09] uniform always right against the road. I don't think that it right now can [1:00:15] without a lot of alterations [1:00:20] » because what comes to mind is what was that? [1:00:23] » Yeah, it sounds like it would all be in the rightway in the north side. What [1:00:26] comes to mind is uh in the winter time when we snow plow um whoever cleans the [1:00:32] trail we go by we fill it. >> Right. [1:00:36] » Right. So there there's some of that unless there's a separation or I mean [1:00:40] attaching it right to the should of the road [1:00:42] » in the future if we ever have to fix that road that becomes an issue as well. [1:00:46] So I think there's some communication there. Uh, not that I'm trying to, you [1:00:51] know, I'm just trying to make you more aware of potentially what what we may be [1:00:56] looking for so that we can try and figure that out and work together. [1:00:59] Right. >> Yeah. And we presented to the office [1:01:02] last week asking for maintenance on the trail specifically and they gave us the [1:01:07] thumbs up on that, but I hadn't thought about when you guys are clearing that [1:01:11] road now. [1:01:15] » Yeah, potentially depending on where it is, right? [1:01:26] So this requires a development permit Dana in a sense or what [1:01:33] » council approve. Okay. >> Yeah. [1:01:37] » Right. [1:01:40] » Gotcha. Wasn't sure if that right. Yeah. I I think that a good next step would be [1:01:46] it's it's hard for us until we know exactly where it's going to be in the [1:01:49] rightway >> to give permission or not, but I'm not [1:01:52] saying we're close to the idea. >> I think we would don't want to [1:01:55] discourage you in any way, shape, or form, but I think it would be just for [1:01:58] the next step a good good idea to have um the local counselor and our public [1:02:03] works director to come out there and get a lay of the land and exactly on what [1:02:06] you guys are looking at and then they can report it back to us and then at [1:02:10] that point we can have a more um informed discussion on how it's going to [1:02:14] look and what some of the what some of the details would be. [1:02:20] » Okay. [1:02:32] » Okay. >> Good. [1:02:36] » Is that [1:02:39] pretty good work? And then in continuing phases, I [1:02:44] encourage us to come to like the Wayright Rural Rec Board and things like [1:02:48] that as well or not just their local one. Why wouldn't we go in on it as [1:02:52] well? [1:02:55] » I think it includes us. No, I like it. >> I I think when [1:02:58] » I don't mind, [1:03:02] » let them do their wreck board first. >> What about grants? Is there any grants [1:03:10] that this would fall under? started. >> You guys have started the process [1:03:13] already. Okay. >> Excellent. [1:03:17] » Not yet. >> Okay. [1:03:19] » We've actually [1:03:34] the items I brought up to discourage project. It's to to help us, you know, [1:03:41] build a better project for an end result, right? That works good for the [1:03:45] village of Irma and also works good for the maintenance side as well because we [1:03:49] don't need the two of them clashing and that that just doesn't work in the end. [1:03:54] » Yeah. And that higher end amount is, you know, tree removal. [1:03:59] » It's it's the most expensive it will. So, if we fund raise that amount, it [1:04:03] could possibly take us if there isn't a lot. [1:04:16] So [clears throat] if you go back to um this is the golf course and this is [1:04:24] so it doesn't show up very well but we were thinking this one is more in nature [1:04:29] and here we start in the village itself it starts to get a little bit difficult [1:04:34] because we don't have sidewalks So now you're building something that's in the [1:04:39] village that's ashalt that's taking the place of the sidewalk. [1:04:44] That's a mile up [1:04:48] and >> then this is like [1:04:53] nature. This isn't a road. So this is Donna Smallwood owns the land [1:05:04] beside the golf course between the road and the golf course [1:05:08] » that would be right to the golf course and then come back [1:05:21] » that we we had talked about that being our [1:05:25] phase. >> Um, and then possibly that purple line. [1:05:34] » Yeah. Come basically be another way to get to the village from that area. [1:05:39] » Short walk or long walk. >> Yeah, [1:05:43] I think our first step too was safety. And I guess that's why I got involved. [1:05:48] So many children are on the boat. If there was something that looked like a [1:05:53] walking path or your bicycle could go up there, it really moves the children's [1:05:57] walk over because there's there's a lot of near misses. We've got a lot of kids [1:06:02] down that road all over and it would be a lot and we have a lot that's [1:06:13] » good. Yep. Any other questions or comments? [1:06:21] right next to the house. [1:06:43] Well, I I think when Garnet and Preston go out there and meet with them that [1:06:46] when it does look where speeds start to elevate and it's a concern, maybe there [1:06:50] is the option to come on the outside, but I I think I'll leave that in their [1:06:54] hands to bring it back to us. I I I hear what you're saying, Oscar, [1:06:59] but we're kind of making some assumptions and [1:07:03] » I think it's best just to to go out and meet with these folks. [1:07:06] » Yeah, I think your first stretch is should be like your lower speeds and it [1:07:10] should >> Well, that is that is a speed zone [1:07:12] already. >> And there is a lot of people walking out [1:07:16] there >> and there are a lot of people who walk [1:07:18] on the road north of the golf course >> already and their kids are on bikes and [1:07:23] stuff. So, right now they are on the road. [1:07:25] moving them off of the road. >> Better. [1:07:29] » Look, it's the main walk. >> Thank you very much for your time. [1:07:32] » It's the main walk. >> Thank you for coming in. So, we will um [1:07:35] line it up with Garnet Preston and if your contractor could be there, that [1:07:38] would be ideal. But >> there's a communication. [1:07:41] » So, Shel, I'll contact you to organize a meeting and then we'll go from there. [1:07:44] I'll get some dates from you and we'll look. [1:07:46] » For sure. Thank you so You're welcome to stay for coffee. We're going to break [1:07:50] for coffee. You're welcome to stay if you like or [1:07:54] » guess that was Okay, we'll get him out there as well. [1:07:57] Yeah. >> Okay, we're going to break for coffee. [1:43:38] It's >> all that counts. [1:43:39] » Okay, we'll call the meeting back to order. [1:43:43] And getting into finance. So, accounts were sent out on Friday [1:43:48] after finance. Any questions or comments on those? [1:43:53] » If not, somebody want to move them. [laughter] [1:43:57] » Who did finance? >> Me. [1:43:58] » Sean. Yeah, >> Sean and I were here Friday. [1:44:01] » Thanks, Sean. Any Oh, I already asked that. All those in favor? [1:44:06] » Yeah. >> Opposed? Carried. [1:44:10] Financial statements. Any questions or comments on that? [1:44:16] » If not, somebody want to make a motion to accept them? [1:44:20] » Bruce. Thanks, Bruce. All those in favor? Opposed? Carried. there. [1:44:27] » Uh reserves are there for information and we're moving on to administration [1:44:32] and taxation. Monthly status report is there. Any questions or comments on [1:44:37] that? Everything's going good. [1:44:43] » And we have some RFDs for is it battle river wershed first? [1:44:49] » No, not on the sheet. Depends. >> I've got the 2026 full army conference. [1:44:54] » Okay, let's start there then. So this is to authorize council and [1:45:00] administration which would be myself and Preston. [1:45:05] » This is November 2nd. >> It's from November 2nd to 5th. [1:45:12] » Okay. Any questions or comments on that? >> You want him to go? [1:45:19] » I'll make a motion to go with option one. [1:45:21] » Thanks, Richard. All those in favor? Opposed? [1:45:25] carried. >> That was moved by Bruce. [1:45:29] » Uh Richard. Yeah. Okay. Now we do the Battle River Wershed [1:45:34] Alliance. [1:45:38] They're looking for funding based on our uh population [1:45:42] or 2026 227. The amounts are there. I believe uh 20 [1:45:48] 22427 for for the year. >> Is this the same amount Kelly we've give [1:45:53] over the other years? I believe it's very similar. Yes, [1:45:56] » it's up a hair, isn't it? >> Yeah. Thanks. [1:46:00] » It might be up a hair, but it's it's >> pretty close. [1:46:02] » Pretty well. >> Are you Are you on this board, Bruce? [1:46:05] » I am. >> Oh, you are. Are they headed into the [1:46:07] schools to do >> Yeah. [1:46:09] » Again this year? >> And I went to their meet their meeting [1:46:14] in Cameros a couple months ago. >> Yeah. [1:46:17] » Yeah. >> And down by the lake. [1:46:19] » Mirror Lake. >> Okay. Okay. Oscar moves that we go with [1:46:24] option one to ex um approve the amount. All those in favor [1:46:32] opposed carried. Okay. Next I have a RMA district 5 [1:46:38] meeting of September 25th in bag and usually council and administration [1:46:44] will attend plus we'll have some of our support staff because we are doing the [1:46:47] administration for that uh meeting. So, we'll probably have some assistance come [1:46:52] along with us. >> Okay. Any questions or comments on that? [1:46:57] » I'll make a motion we go with option number one, approve attendance. [1:47:01] » Thanks, Sean. All those in favor? Opposed? Carried. [1:47:08] So, the RMA member bulletins are there for your information. [1:47:12] » There's a lot of >> There is, but there's a lot of good I [1:47:15] really enjoy. >> Pretty cool. [1:47:18] » Yeah. Some of it's not quite >> some of it's not very cool. Okay. So, [1:47:25] going back to health and social services, there was an [1:47:29] RFD for Viking request for physician recruitment and we have asked for more [1:47:34] information to bring it back and we tabled it. [1:47:38] So, we are back to a conversation [1:47:41] » more information. Uh [1:47:46] trying to remember what we were asking for. [1:47:49] » Contact the community health foundation. >> Yes, we did get a little bit of [1:47:53] information on what our uh the community health foundation on [1:47:58] what uh our portion is on what we pay for our recruitment. So those numbers I [1:48:04] believe we talked about at Strap Plan. Richard, you weren't here, but we did [1:48:07] have a discussion or that information was presented at Strat Plan. Wasn't [1:48:11] really much of a discussion. So, what do you guys want to do with this? [1:48:15] We've had it here a couple months now. >> I make a motion we forward it to RMA. [1:48:22] Option number two and make it try to make it a regional [1:48:27] more regionalized issue instead of trying to handle it one-on-one. [1:48:30] » Yeah. >> So, put it on the agenda of the district [1:48:33] 5 meeting for >> Yeah. Instead of trying to [1:48:36] » give somebody money here and somebody money there, let's try to make it like a [1:48:40] » consistent >> more consistent [1:48:42] » or whatever. >> Yeah. [1:48:45] » Okay. Everybody's good with that? [1:48:48] » Yep. >> Okay. Any questions or comments on [1:48:50] Sean's motion? All those in favor? [1:48:54] Opposed? >> Good one. [1:48:56] » Carried. >> Way to go, Sean. [1:48:59] » Okay. And moving on, we have a bylaw. [1:49:05] Yeah. Bylaw number 1733, a bylaw of the [1:49:09] municipal district of Wayright number 61 in the province of Alberta authorizing [1:49:14] the erection or removal of stop or yield signs for traffic control at a [1:49:18] designated location. So on our um [1:49:24] the numbers are listed there where they are. So you got the land, [1:49:29] » they're all three of them. >> They're all in my area. [1:49:31] » All in Richard's area. >> Yeah. Why do you want [1:49:33] » Why do you want them out of there? >> I want them in. I want stop signs in. [1:49:37] » Instead of yield signs in two and then you want to stop, put in one other [1:49:40] additional. >> Yeah. [1:49:41] » Okay. Okay. Uh need a motion for the first [1:49:46] reading? >> No. [1:49:47] » Thanks, Richard. All those in favor? Opposed? Carried. Motion for the second [1:49:53] reading. >> Yeah. Or >> Yeah, I can just add that um busy month. [1:51:04] We had seven development permits last month. So, that's up a little bit from [1:51:07] our usual and that we've had a couple really good meetings this p past month. [1:51:11] We were down in uh Reier meeting with public lands and the water act folks in [1:51:16] regards to Clear Lake as well as myself and the Reeve attended the Clear Lake [1:51:20] wershed meeting this past Sunday and uh they had a great turnout and we were [1:51:24] able to share some updates with them on the shoreline modification project. So [1:51:28] great timing for that. >> What's the consensus like around on [1:51:35] shoreline? >> They were really optimistic that we're [1:51:38] finally about ready to hit go. Um, so a number of people that were in attendance [1:51:42] were people that are on our waiting list. So really excited that we're we're [1:51:46] finally on the home stretch and uh the way it sits right now, none of them [1:51:50] seemed um yeah, super intimidated by the measures that are required. [1:52:43] » Chicken feed >> screenings. [1:52:46] » Oh yeah. >> And uh uh things off the dust collector. [1:52:50] It cost us money to dump it at the dump, but there's actually quite a bit of like [1:52:56] bits of grain in it and chicken bird seed, too. or that and it would be like [1:53:02] cheap. >> Customer, [1:53:05] » it would be cheap. The land is for sale on the subdivision that was [1:53:56] collectively >> forwarded and passed. [1:53:58] » Three bids, wasn't it? >> They haven't had bids. I need a motion to [2:29:20] cancel the tax penalty on roll numbers 294001,2779900 [2:29:26] 0 and 9 09000000008 I'll make that [2:29:31] » for a total of 3500 $1984. [2:29:36] Oscar makes a motion.
