[0:28] behalf of the village of for utility expansion extensions related to the Cape Park
[0:33] project. So they'll be here for that presentation. And second item we have is
[0:38] actually related Pre Council meeting event. We have starting at 5.30, which is a
[0:44] presentation at the Wellington top cop and top firefighter words. We do this annually
[0:50] with both Palm Beach County Fire Rescue and the pumps can sheriff's office together a
[0:52] public safety committee and we'll be honoring this year's honorees. But what we've done
[0:59] also is to recognize all previous recipients of the of the award some recognition in
[1:06] the lobby where we have 2 plaques honoring all noting all the previous recipients of
[1:11] the top cop in top firefighter and we've invited and the folks who are local
[1:15] unavailable to join us that were previous recipients and they'll be here in the lobby
[1:19] as well. So we'll have that reception beforehand. >> the area lastly, we have a
[1:25] presentation which is also public hearing. >> For the proposed fiscal
[1:30] year, 26, 27 budget adoption and capital improvement plan and the millage rate as well.

[2:05] contract to better meet her for the purchase, delivery of federal meters and components
[2:08] which parents can take us to that. A couple exciting ones today.

[2:21] this for 175,000. This is other kind of our normal operating expenses for meter
[2:26] replacement and point replacement and new meters for developer projects primarily
[2:31] get that fall outside of the meter replacement program. So this is just kind of the
[2:35] business as usual and a standard amount we do every year, portion of this is so
[2:39] any. offset by revenue. So many meters that come in that are for developer projects and
[2:46] developers pay a fee and that offset some of So when you get a new meter, you do pay for
[2:49] that matter. recommending approval of this contract and any questions. I'm happy to

[3:05] Sterling water. >> For the supply and delivery of flick with dispersion

[3:26] portion of fluent. That's gets hauled trucked off the site. So it's a byproduct of the
[3:30] waste water treatment process. So this is something we mix in and we use that every year.
[3:35] It's essential to the plant and we really can't run the plant to produce a bio solids
[3:39] in compliance with regulations without it. So this this vendor Sterling Water
[3:45] Technologies, they completed their initial two-year term and they requested a
[3:49] four-point 6 increase for the next renewal term. So they provide substantiation Ys of
[3:54] those increases. We don't believe that there's more favorable pricing available.
[3:59] For this product. If this were to be anything like that. So as such we're recommending
[4:04] approval of the contracts renewal for Sterling Industries for the purchase
[4:08] this was budgeted budget every year in our operating budget. requesting approval for up to
[4:16] $145,000. >> It's a small increase in. These are 2 of your lowest
[4:18] asks, I think the year. I love Like when they're not the time we had you. As you know, this
[4:23] may recall from Ken, we've had years where chemicals have shot up significantly. So
[4:26] these more moderate increases are. I mean, better fit was no increase. much better than

[8:21] additional service that we're replacing an existing service for, which is to our current

[13:45] intended, they found some additional areas to complete and the contractor avail
[13:50] themselves of the schedule as that our public works. Team. But given that is over the
[13:54] limit of what was referred to proved rather than just in changer to council ratify that
[13:59] just to correct the record to reflect total updated cost of the project. started completed
[14:07] for me, it's been completed. Yes, it has been completed. But with that within the
[14:13] budget that was originally approved for the line item in the public works of budget and
[14:18] they saw some additional need within the community went ahead and move forward with

[14:30] number 26 S 43, which is the Pbso district. 8 dwelling 10 at 5.27, budget and contract.
[14:38] And that reflects a 3% increase. And there's a companion items that come with
[14:43] it, which is also the law enforcement services plan for the coming year. And those
[14:49] will be. Pursuant to the contract that was approved. And generally you're already
[14:58] received a presentation from Captain Adagio on the prior year's results. And that's
[15:02] what basically the next presentation are based on How we compare based on the
[15:06] numbers that in the prior year, 3% increases for the same level of service. We got
[15:12] this past year that's occurring. We are adding no additional staffing goes to
[15:15] 3%. >> Increase of the to correct. year that lets you can do
[15:20] that. That's correct. That is consistent in a lot. It we can do that and we may end up with
[15:27] a different but but know that that's consistent generally with how they looked at their
[15:31] contracts across the village across county. And the only difference is that certainly
