This meeting is being broadcast live and recorded by Ashwinham Westminster Community Media. I have not been notified of any of the audio or video recording being taken of this meeting by any other party. [0:23] And I trust that still holds true. All right. All right. [0:33] First we'll start with the town administrators report. [0:37] So I just have a couple of dates for tonight. First of all is a reminder that this Thursday [0:43] that will be the first the town's first ever employee outing is going to be held on Thursday, [0:48] September 24th from noon 4 p.m. Residents are reminded that all non-emergency town buildings [0:54] will close to the public at noon on Thursday. Police fire and other services will obviously remain [0:59] available as usual. So if you have any business you need to conduct in-person at town hall or the [1:06] for 12 on Thursday and then normal hours will resume after 4 o'clock. [1:12] Next thing up is that the Adam Street 40B public hearings. [1:16] The next one is scheduled for Tuesday, October 20th at 6 p.m. and this is the ZBA public [1:23] hearing for the Adam's chapter 40B development. [1:26] It's going to be held at the Westminster Senior Center and Interest in our welcome to attend. [1:31] And again, it's October 20th at 6 p.m. [1:34] The next one is, we had a great event this weekend, the Dan Clark, the singing trooper, came out to a Academy Hill, so thank you to everyone who attended and supported the singing trooper event sponsored by Parks and Rec, in recognition of this, our country's 250th birthday, we appreciate all the residents, volunteers, staff and community partners who helped make the event possible and contributed to another wonderful community gathering on the Hill, it was a nice, it was a chilly fall day for a concert, so thanks to everybody who came and thanks to everybody who put it on, and the last one is, [2:04] Our reminder that the Westminster Car Professional is returning for it is 11th year on Saturday [2:08] October 17th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. downtown and village squares of parking lot where [2:13] the blueprint in no condonences residents visitors are invited to enjoy a full day of local [2:18] vendors, food, entertainment and community activities and we hope to see it over there. [2:24] Just a second on the town meeting, we were closing the town offices, it's not just a picnic, [2:34] No. [2:35] So, uh, team building and professional development. [2:40] Professional development, that was what I was looking for. [2:42] Yeah, so we need a team building, professional development, [2:44] outing for all of the town staff. [2:46] We've never done anything like that before, [2:48] and it's becoming more, more prevalent, [2:50] and municipal entities for, [2:53] especially when everyone is split up amongst four or five different locations. [2:57] It's good to get everyone together. [2:59] for an afternoon so I'm very hopeful that it will be a huge success and it's [3:04] something that we can continue doing into the future and it's very well received by [3:07] the staff. And whether it looks wonderful. It does look like a perfect crisp fall day [3:12] so we should be good to go. Bruce Schwagel has said it will be a wonderful day. [3:16] All right, next we have Warns, [3:26] two Warns, three Warns, 320, 271 dollars, I'm sorry, let me [3:37] correct that, it's 624,420 dollars and 58 cents, [3:48] let me think of that, Danny. It's your [3:54] The next one is for $325,000, $737 and $61. [4:02] I make a motion to approve the warrants as presented. [4:05] Second. [4:06] All those in favour? [4:07] Aye. [4:09] I actually have the minutes of August 31st, 2026. [4:13] I make a motion to approve the minutes for August 31st, 2026 as presented. [4:18] Second. [4:19] All those in favour? [4:21] Next, we have a payroll authorization for part-time on call firefighter Cody Sousa to fill [4:28] a vacancy. [4:30] I make a motion to approve the payroll change request and authorization for the part-time [4:35] on call firefighter Cody Sousa filling a vacancy. [4:39] Second, all those in favour? [4:40] But I actually have some contracts. [4:45] We have a Verizon lease agreement for the South Ashwin Hammer Road Tower. [4:53] Okay, I'm on. [4:55] This proposed lease agreement includes an initial 10-year term with two optional five-year [5:00] extensions for an annual rent of $30,000 with a two-and-a-half annual increase, a $10,000 [5:08] Security deposit and a $1,200 annual safety and compliance review fee. [5:13] The agreement also preserves the town's ability to use the tower for municipal public safety [5:17] communications. [5:19] I make a motion to execute the enclosed lease agreement as presented. [5:26] All those in favour? [5:27] Right. [5:27] I. [5:29] Next we have a contract for a vertex public safety building on a project manager or manager [5:39] agreement. [5:43] So this is a agreement for with Vertex for the Public Safety Building Project. [5:50] The agreement will establish the scope, responsibilities, and contractual terms for [5:55] Vertex to assist the time with project planning, design oversight, budgeting, scheduling, [6:02] and future construction and administration. [6:05] Any discussions, or anything? [6:06] make the motion? Here are any any more discussion on it? This is a project that the [6:14] town's been working on for 20 years. At least 15. It's a long time coming and [6:22] I know a lot of people when they just drive down South Street doing 30 miles an [6:26] hour it looks like a beautiful building. [6:30] Then a 30 miles an hour is great but the [6:33] building does mean a lot of work or a bulldozer. [6:37] So vertex will help us figure in on that out. [6:44] So we have a motion in a second. [6:46] I'll make a motion to allow the chair to sign an enter into an agreement with vertex [6:51] for the project management of the public safety building. [6:55] Second. [6:56] All those in Fama. [6:57] All right. [6:59] Hi. [7:00] Hi. [7:01] Is there a specific plan for the building? [7:04] That's what we're doing and just be... [7:08] Which committee? [7:09] Yeah. [7:11] They're just starting off on it. [7:13] So this will be a long process. [7:16] But plenty of meetings with a long process. [7:18] So Vertex will help the town retain a architect and designer. [7:23] So there's no plan for the building right now. [7:25] They would act as the town's owner project manager through the life of the project. [7:30] And, you know, they have architects and engineers and the oversight ability to oversee a project of that size. [7:37] So, right now, this is the first step. We're operating on the New York Mark from Senator Durant. [7:43] So, this first step will give us, hopefully, a project budget and the project design that everybody's good at that we can then start. [7:52] Bring your out down. Certainly. Nothing bulls. [7:55] Yes. All the things. This is just step one. [8:00] Next we have a mass start of Chapter 90 of Gremont Renewal. [8:08] Okay. [8:12] This amendment extending the town's Chapter 90 contract through June 30th, 2037. [8:18] The amendment does not change the contract amount and will allow the town to continue receiving [8:22] an administering Chapter 90 roadway funding under the Commonwealth Program requirements. [8:27] I make a motion to execute the agreement. [8:33] Motion in a second. [8:34] All those in favour? [8:35] All right. [8:40] I actually have a mass. [8:42] A big and street truck exclusion. [8:45] And some flex drive. [8:49] I see I'll give this to you and I'm not sure if the chief has anything to add. [8:53] Okay. [8:54] This is a update regarding a draft mass DOT permit approving a heavy commercial vehicle [9:01] exclusion on Overlook Road, Bayon Street, [9:04] Elliott Street, and Pleasant Street. [9:06] The proposed restriction would apply to vehicles [9:09] with a gross vehicle weight rating of 10,000 pounds [9:12] or more, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. [9:16] Local deliveries, public utility work, road construction, [9:19] and maintenance, and government vehicles [9:21] would remain exempt. [9:22] The restriction will take effect only after the final permit [9:26] is issued and the required signs are installed. [9:29] So, Chief, I don't know if you want to elaborate. [9:32] Yeah, I mean, the excuse was put in place to keep commercial talks out of the area. [9:37] Using that particular area is completely cut through. [9:40] It doesn't prevent commercial talks and travel in real ways that are listed in the live law. [9:46] If they're doing regular business to that general area. [9:50] But it is, it's put in place to prevent the country traffic that is congested in the area for a number of years. [9:55] It gives us some enforcement efforts to speak to operators that find out where they're [9:59] going and to just to prevent that country traffic. [10:04] And we'll educate the commercial truck drivers in the coming months to make sure that they're [10:08] well aware that it's not a country where there's some enforcement efforts that at least [10:13] about what you think. [10:14] To correct that type of behavior and get them chewed from the highway and the appropriate areas so it doesn't [10:20] could cause conjecture to any of us that are affecting all of them. [10:25] So if you have like a dumb truck, a triaxle that's coming in with a load and they've [10:31] got to go down bacon street to deliver either on bacon street, pleasant, elegant, overlooked, [10:35] whatever it is. [10:36] They're not going to get pulled over anything. [10:38] They made a truck? [10:39] They made a truck because we see the truck and you also send a approach and say, hey, there's [10:44] a truck exclusion here, all the operators simply have to say, I have a delivery that I'm [10:49] I'm going with a 32-baked street and I have to drop off a little gravel and I'm doing work [10:54] over here. [10:55] Then we go a lot at it. [10:57] But those that are saying, oh, I'm trying to get through two or trying to get somewhere else. [11:02] That's what this is trying to prevent. [11:04] Because GPS now, and there is a mass, are using that as a control. [11:08] And it's really causing a problem to the community, there is an area. [11:12] And this is a mechanism that we put place to try to help that particular area of the town [11:17] to exclude those traffic so they can just get in what time. [11:21] So we're hoping that we have that it is successful [11:23] and we can cut, we can curb those problems [11:26] to the residents of the COVID-19. [11:27] That would be amazing. [11:29] Yeah, it's well-needed on that road. [11:31] Because even if you're not living in that area, [11:33] even if you travel that area all the time, [11:35] you know, and I do travel that way. [11:37] I've actually had to back up by the pharmacy in the library [11:40] so that a truck could make the turn [11:42] and then you know, other than me getting out and saying, [11:44] no, you need to go that way. [11:45] Yeah, so this is this is correct. This is awesome [11:48] We just have the educated community which is always [11:51] Some change on it's actually people can't shop [11:58] All right, we have a motion. Do we have a second? [12:01] Did I make the motion? [12:03] I didn't think so. Oh, I could now. How does that sound? Okay. Okay. I make a motion to endorse this exclusion from mass [12:10] DOT in forward to the Department of Public Works for the next steps. Second. All right, we have a motion in the second [12:17] All those in favour? [12:18] Aye. [12:20] Aye. [12:20] Next, we have Criminal Justice Information Services, a Agreement Renewal. [12:29] This is for the Police Department's proposed FY27 Maintenance Agreement with Trovador Technology. [12:37] The $825 agreement provides annual support and maintenance for the Department's Criminal Justice [12:42] Information Services Router. [12:46] Chief, I don't know if you want to elaborate on anything with that. [12:48] So it's agreement that we have with that particular vendor to maintain our server. [12:53] Obviously, we rely heavily on technology, and I feel we want to ensure that when we do have issues with the server, [12:59] we have a reputable company that can come in. [13:01] Maintain it, provide service work to that, so that we're operating running and we're functioning properly. [13:09] I make a motion to execute this agreement for the police department. [13:12] Second. [13:13] Motion to second all those in favour? [13:16] Aye. [13:18] Next, we have the Eagle Scout product, the VFW Previllion. [13:23] This is a request to wave a building permit fee. [13:30] What does he present for us? [13:33] Do you want to make the motion first? [13:36] No, Tyler can present. [13:37] First, we have an Eagle Scout Tyler Karoo, who is orchestrating this [13:43] Previllion. [13:43] You see it with his father. [13:47] So, Tyler tell us a little bit about it. [13:49] So, first of all, my entire crew, I'm a senior at both Monterey School, I have lived [13:56] in this town pretty close to my entire life, and I've been working on my E-Golfer [14:03] close to a decade now. [14:05] Whoa, didn't process of it. [14:07] This project is all coming up on two years long, we're entering its final steps to pull [14:18] or would hopefully allow us to build a four-step fall. [14:26] The reason we are trying to get the feedback was because we're very, very [14:31] tight on funds. [14:32] Thanks to the town and their generosity we've raised somewhere around [14:37] $47,000. [14:40] And that's very, very close to what we were quoted. [14:43] So we're hoping with this, they give you the speed, we could make sure we stay on target for that [14:52] of the goal. [14:53] So this is going to be like a pavilion that people could sit under and everything, it's like, [14:58] how big is that? [14:59] So this is a 20. [15:00] May my 30 foot outdoor pavilion at the Local VFW, this will include a cement pad that sits on as well as the pavilion itself. [15:11] This is an addition to the one there he had at present, and this will be for Agen from Bands to... [15:21] So, are you taking a table under everything? [15:24] There we go. [15:25] They couldn't if they wanted. [15:26] Yeah, so one of the other legal projects from Utah was through was those picking tables. [15:31] Oh, okay. [15:32] Thought was that when they're not using it, like a winter time, they can put those under the building. [15:37] Sure. [15:38] Preserve them better. [15:39] Yep, sure. [15:40] And so, how close are you? [15:41] So did you reach your financial goal? [15:44] It's... [15:45] Yeah, long story with all that inflation that's been going on legally, especially after the start-up, the war of my brand, all of the materials have doubled in cost. [15:57] Show us the start. So how close are you? We hit the goal of $40,000, almost a year ago. [16:04] Okay. And now we're trying to make up to the $55,000 that it was estimated now. [16:08] So now it's at 55, so you need another 15. [16:12] I want you to hold up that soap. [16:14] So people at home can see and making it and also let us know. [16:17] Just so that you can see them camera. [16:20] If a lot of people at home know how to make a donation towards us and help you get it. [16:24] This is your on TV right now. [16:27] Like promote it. [16:28] Like do your best selling right now. [16:30] Thank you. [16:31] So if you would like to readjust for a donation, [16:34] we have in the VW view box, I can't think of it, but it is on all our flyers that around [16:47] town, you can see it. There's one by pinson, there's one by the VFW, and there's one by the library. [16:57] They're also online, there's a Jennifer Shane put out a newsletter for it and there's a section in there talking about it. [17:08] There is an episode of the town podcast that me and Mrs. Layton made about a year ago. [17:15] So it's all out there. So if you would like to donate out of my lab, this is... [17:20] Okay. [17:24] You can make a check, payable to VFWP-7389 attention to the Pavilion Eagle Project and you may let to VFWP-7389 [17:36] The O'Lox 3-8-8, that was Mr. Maths 0-1-4-738. [17:40] Give any questions, you can email me at the VFWP Pavilion Eagle at Gmail Archon, all on no spaces, all [17:47] apps. And yeah, but all of us do prove that anyone can make this happen. [17:55] All right. Thank you. That's excellent. All text information that Tyler just mentioned [17:59] is on the flyer that are the flyer's real town, too. Is there a picture of the, yes, of the, [18:07] so the flyer's includes, this is just the top down with a Google Maps to show the location of it, [18:14] in reference to the baseball field that is there. If you went straight from home plate all the way to that corner [18:22] from in line in the first base. It's around where that it needs the road in those trees. [18:29] And then the next page is just more proving that it's nowhere near any town lines or all the stuff you need for the permit. [18:38] not only town lines, but we're here, property lines, so it's a close-up closest to 131 feet [18:47] and three inches away from the closest town property line, but that wouldn't be an issue. [18:54] So it says, if you pull into the VFW by the veteran's monument, so you go in there with the [19:02] usually sell the Christmas trees, we'll be right in front of the center on that back. [19:06] You know a little bit further perhaps where they sell the Christmas trees, where the road narrows a little bit on the curve right around where you made that turn to go left to the main lot [19:16] Yeah, we'll be right about that right in there [19:18] Yeah, so this is the overview [19:22] It's got the floor plan, front elevation, side elevation, the framing [19:28] So it would be hip room style to leave road in the future for potential other projects such as putting in a fan or putting in electrical [19:36] So all of that will not be done with my project, but in the future could be very easily completed with the VNW. [19:45] And that's about it. [19:46] It's had splinters and it's not a monolithic slab, so it won't. [19:51] It all fully lasts [19:54] if it's treated correctly and it will be treated correctly when we first put it in. [20:04] Yes, so the structural engineer company that donated the stand-up to approve this is a company down Boston [20:13] time bonds [20:15] connections with my dad who works with [20:18] you mass medical is the senior electrical engineer there and [20:26] So they they don't need their services to help [20:30] And the barrage has been done completely automation, right? [20:34] Yes. [20:34] Yes. [20:34] Yeah. [20:37] I'm just going to be a little bit. [20:39] So what do we build by a team of contractors led by our general contractor, Jeremy Kinnell? [20:46] He runs here in his company, Kinnell company. [20:51] I don't have names of who exactly is doing the landscaping, doing the flat pad, [20:56] doing the actually I do have a name of the pad. It's John Wilson. [21:02] It's from more and very experienced. [21:04] A lot of these contractors are local. [21:07] So can anyone accompany? He lives on bacon street. [21:12] And he's also donated his time to be the GC for the project. [21:17] The section is a great talent project. [21:20] Very proud of your congratulations. [21:26] So we looked at them at the very beginning of the project and they seems very, very backed up with how early you need to get in to get on their schedule and they would also have struggled with the adding machinery with the beams that we have to put in. [21:41] So it would have been possibly cheaper, but it would have been a lot more hurdles into having to get multiple groups involved to get that head of machinery and be able to use it. [21:53] So we looked into that and put it ultimately, didn't work out, we ended up going with Connecticut. [21:59] Like the potential for those future projects. [22:02] Yes. [22:02] Yeah. [22:03] That's awesome. [22:05] I think that that's the least we could do is donate a 300 dollar fee. [22:12] That's excellent and great presentation. [22:15] Excellent. [22:15] I appreciate you, Brian. [22:18] I felt a lot of work into that. [22:19] Good job. [22:22] Any other questions, Brian? [22:24] Good work. [22:26] Right? [22:37] I will make the motion to waive the fee for the egosco project for the B.I.W. [22:44] Pavilion. [22:45] Second. [22:48] Well, I was in favor. [22:51] Aye. [22:51] Thank you. [22:52] Thank you again. [22:53] Thank you. [22:53] Good job. [22:54] and good luck raising the rest of the funds. [22:57] Thank you. [22:57] You'll get that promise. [23:00] There was the raise like the extra 30,000 for a ceiling fan. [23:07] Next we have a disclosure review for Caroline Elded Health Inspector. [23:15] The conflicts of interest disclosure forms submitted by Health Inspector Caroline Elver [23:19] indicate that in addition to her work with the town, she is also a licensed real estate agent [23:24] and transaction coordinator for a local realtor and may be required to inspect properties [23:29] connected to real estate transactions. She indicated that her real estate role is administrative, [23:35] does not involve business with buyers or sellers, and will not influence her official inspection [23:39] for enforcement decisions. The financial interest disclosure requests a determination that the [23:45] close interest is not so substantial that it would affect the integrity or of the services [23:50] expected from her as a municipal employee. [23:54] And therefore I make a motion to accept these disclosures and make the determination that [23:59] Caroline can be impartial if the disclosures are approved, they will be publicly filed with [24:06] the town clerk. [24:07] I'm going to abstain from discussion on this. [24:13] I agree, it's, you know, the administrative work of the real estate agent, certainly [24:19] wouldn't affect this, so, maybe about a second emotion. [24:27] All right, good emotion in a second. [24:28] All those in favor? [24:30] Hi. [24:33] All right. [24:34] Next, we have a new business, a trail easement donation discussion. [24:43] We have Chris Mossman, who is here to discuss a proposed donation of a trail easement associated with Hanger Park. [24:51] The discussion will address potential public benefit of the easement. [24:56] Continue to travel access and accounts responsibilities if the easement is accepted. [25:02] I don't know if you're going to be able to keep up with him? [25:06] Okay, right, at the start of the fall I'll be going to. [25:10] So, this will, entirely in my need to jump in. [25:16] So I'm going to let's catch there for you, the show's on our Halo Park is where it shows [25:23] Artroller Farm and the little black line that runs in between. [25:26] As you may know, the aforementioned program famous for its watches and brilliant labels was so recently and the North Thai land trust is working towards buying a conservation prescription on that property. [25:42] And prior up to the strategy for doing all this is to have a connection to the trail system on October 5 and connecting to the paper property. [25:52] And so I'm sort of running around making sure and actually, you know, no Italian land trust [25:57] is very interesting knowing that there's a good connection between it. [26:01] And once we're going to have a little trouble, we're showing you the little red wine on [26:06] the sketch that I gave you, where I'm hopeful that I'm going to get the trail management [26:11] through private land. [26:13] I'm never fortunate to hear he also went, this is a Jason from October 5, and he's willing [26:20] give us the trail easement. So I guess, and we've got a pretty much wide out what I did, [26:27] what the wind and the hull we're going to need is, but I guess I'm really asking to get access [26:32] to town council because we will need an easement D. We did this three years ago when we got a [26:40] similar kind of the trail easement through the water property that connects, you know, the [26:49] the time put of what open and page is going to want. So we're going to put on the [26:54] puts up and together to them and then if I can talk to Tom Council about, you know, [27:00] making it appropriate for this one and then it changed, she might have. I guess that's what [27:05] I really like to do tonight. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. [27:13] I think it's great. I appreciate the donation. [27:20] And I mean, it's certainly the town's goal to have as much open space and saved space and trails as possible. [27:32] So, I would be on the favorite of it. [27:35] Now, it looks coming as a metropolitan area. [27:38] I was talking about somebody before. [27:40] I got to the meeting tonight. [27:41] They had just moved to town from Bremfield. [27:44] And they wanted to come to a more metropolitan area. [27:53] So Chris is there, so people will be able to, you think, if people are going to park [27:58] here and then hike over to after the farm? [28:00] They could. [28:01] And then are they going to have parking over here and everything too? [28:04] That should be in term. [28:05] I don't know how to walk a lot of control, but it's going to happen there. [28:08] You know, we'll be involved with that. [28:10] But right now, we'd like to have the opportunity to walk here. [28:12] And I've walked these trails with nets, I mean the gorgeous one. [28:15] I was saying it's gorgeous, I guess. [28:16] It's really would be wonderful to at least have that connection. [28:19] You know, not everybody's going to want to, [28:21] that's probably going to be almost a five mile peak. [28:24] Okay, so from here to here will be like five miles? [28:27] No, that's by aluminum. [28:28] I don't remember. [28:29] I don't remember. [28:30] Yeah, yeah. [28:32] So people could literally just like go there, either walk the trail, turn around, [28:37] and then go back and just like a three mile route. [28:39] I mean, I really want some, you know, [28:40] I want a little bit of change of scenery, but yeah, but in very people and if there's no parking here, they just would make a difference. [28:46] I sure there will probably be some sort of a trail left there. [28:50] I just don't know where it's going to be located. [28:52] Yeah. [28:52] Oh, that's great. [28:53] That's wonderful. [28:59] So we just did make a motion to offer ice. [29:01] Yeah, offer ice. [29:02] We worked with townhouse along with Hayter Park to get this easy kind of take care. [29:07] I'll make a motion to allow Stephanie and Hayter Park to work with townhouse, [29:12] to accept this trail easement donation and get it going. [29:18] Second. [29:19] All those of you? [29:20] Hi. [29:21] What else? [29:22] Thanks for this. [29:23] Thank you. [29:24] You've got a deep behind us, eh? [29:27] Yeah. [29:29] Yeah. [29:29] You don't want me to be a big E-minus. [29:31] I'm remarkable. [29:34] Thank you. [29:36] Thank you. [29:37] Next we have a community services department. [29:41] We have our community services director, our department here and she will update us regarding the continued development of the town's independent community services department. [29:54] So as you know, community services developed following to its fourth year. [30:00] It's quite the town and you're departing in town. And recently, as of this fiscal year, the act of presentation with the town and advisory and acceptance with the town, we developed our own budget at separate from what had previously been kind of showing efforts with e-parks and recreation department. [30:19] So, in seeing that through, we are now taking this step to kind of create our own individual community services, speaks book page. [30:26] We have kind of started to develop a logo. [30:30] Those are both in prisons and to the select board to take a look at. [30:33] In the initial unpublished page, a logo and some kind of tagline options, [30:38] which are just trying to finalize at this time. [30:40] The visual allows us to really start sharing not only events that community services, [30:45] parks and racking, other communities in town have going on, [30:49] but to bring in all the other elements of communalizations. [30:54] So, you know, if you're not part of the agricultural commission or the cultural commission, individual [31:00] pages or you don't go to a look and see what they have going on, you're not going to [31:03] end up. [31:03] So, a lot of the events and things that are held, you know, have ended up with small [31:06] attendance. [31:08] Now, we kind of bring everything together, share that information for all the events and activities [31:12] going on in our hometown, kind of have a whole base. [31:16] Picture like wonderful Westminster in there. [31:19] You know, their page minus all the ads and all the, you know, different things that they have on [31:23] we're just kind of the strong community information, so it would be a good help of where to go for that. [31:29] Community services is also now growing and expanding, different types of events coming up, [31:34] such as a very soon hopeful community experience server, which will take place at the Community Center, [31:41] which is an opportunity for our town to come together, we'll be doing lots of crafts events, [31:48] So kids, outings, things like, they can big ol' and fun things for our community members. [31:54] I'm all happy with the community senior center. [31:56] So lots of little things, as well as lots of joint efforts, communities already started working [32:01] with Hager Park, with the Agricultural Commission to start bringing additional events [32:06] for those entities can't do by themselves, such as a Hiking Series, such as the Spring [32:13] at the holiday, you should say, holiday vendor fair [32:19] that the ad comes to present, but no longer does, [32:22] and we only have to be able to start [32:24] or even those things back to town. [32:25] That's wrong. [32:26] So it's just kind of an update on what we have going on there [32:29] tomorrow on the town podcast. [32:31] We'll be sharing all kinds of information [32:33] or at least recording all of this information [32:36] with a whole series of kind of where we started, [32:38] where we are now, and where we're [32:40] going to be kind of within a year's time frame. [32:41] you all get a good idea, but that looks like. But at least one kind of present that to you and then say, [32:48] you know, how do you feel about the Facebook page? The logos are really fantastic, how do you feel with the [32:54] yellow? Go on. That's actually. The logo, I like it. It's very nice, very clean, and I like the [33:03] of kind of you can any website, social media page, it's easy to get lost on them, there's [33:11] this so much stuff going on to it, and this, your guarantee that it's not going to be any [33:18] he adds, but plummeters of the gay, your driveway, paved, anything like that, it's strictly [33:24] news about the community, people, places, and programs. I think it's wonderful. I like the [33:34] logo, it's nice and clean. [33:39] Full speed ahead. Yes, thank you. I think it's great. It's nice [33:43] to have one place to go to to find out about local events. Any idea when the Facebook page [33:49] of goal of life? Basically we're ready to go as soon as we again just wanted to present that to [33:55] That page is pretty much ready to go, and then it was just kind of figuring out the exact tag lines, kind of, to go after that logo that I presented to you, just really trying to capture exactly what you say, you know, community connection, experiences, creating connections, building community, just finding the right words since it will be on the logo, so we wanted to kind of have to change it once we go a bit, but at the same time those are kind of all interchangeable things as well. [34:23] So we could also just stick with the logo [34:25] and those words we kind of come in and open as their approach. [34:28] Yeah, yeah, you come all the day [34:29] I don't know you next. [34:30] That's why they put a collection of cuts. [34:32] So I'm quite, basically, we were already, [34:34] and we have just as a heads up, some of the events [34:36] that are just about to be published. [34:38] You'll see them in the central and in the senior newsletter. [34:41] But there's a book town dance, [34:43] taking place on October 16th at the Community Center. [34:46] That's in the evening on Friday night. [34:48] That's open to basically anybody. [34:50] Obviously, you know, beard more towards seniors or older adults in town, but it's open to anyone who likes to go town. [34:57] Basically they'll be showing videos on the big screen and you can dance, have snacks, just enjoy a nice evening out. [35:04] We're also adding some community fitness classes starting October 5th at 5-6 p.m. at the community sector. [35:11] We recently started a Mahajan group at 6 p.m. on Tuesday nights and at the same year, such as very well. [35:17] It's already, like we already had to move out of the UN when we said I would be able to be able to be able to. [35:23] So we're really trying to expand some more of these groups. [35:26] Looking to kind of start in music, jam session, as well, and there's a creative writing group that also is going to be started very soon. [35:33] So just some of those little things that are taking place. [35:36] We're going to want to get this published ASAP so that we can start sharing all of these events they're taking place. [35:44] That's excellent. [35:45] Do we don't have to go to our head there? [35:47] No, it's just a kind of presentation for feedback. [35:51] Yeah. [35:51] Yeah. [35:51] That's fun. [35:52] Whenever has the ideas. [35:53] I was just a bit of a big idea. [35:55] It's a big idea. [35:56] It's a big idea. [35:57] It's a big idea. [35:57] It's a big idea. [36:00] And not the other reason we want people to be able to message in and say, hey, [36:03] You know, this is going on and that's going on and we have this idea, just how things like the [36:08] more town dance came today. [36:10] Well, what will you use for messaging you to have, like, your email on the page, or just, [36:20] like Facebook Messenger, or something like that? [36:23] Yeah, so they could send you a message like that. [36:24] Yeah, they'll be able to message. [36:26] We want a lot of posting by anybody that will be close, you know, but when we will [36:30] commenting, you know, the page like our other town entities, you know, it's not 120-24-7, [36:36] so, you know, kind of goes with a normal business hours of the town, and of course, [36:40] we'll be checking things, of course, closer to two, as events are going on, but, you know, [36:45] him, he had all that way, and then my email will be listed on the page as well as people. [36:50] So, and then we have things like the new Pavilion, which I can't wait to use for Easter, [36:55] and you're a celebrity, you're space-cating, and all of this stuff that's going to be awesome, [36:58] So you can get that go by and then, you know, we're able to now start expanding into areas like that. [37:13] So it's going to, in parts of rap, isn't necessarily being left behind. [37:17] It's just in some of these events. [37:20] Parts of rap is taking like pieces instead of having to control the entire movement, because again, it's a volunteer committee. [37:26] It's nice now that we can kind of have joint effort and community. [37:30] You can kind of take a view on some of these events, and then parts being able to take pieces of rather than everything kind of getting through on the part of the planet. [37:38] Yeah, and that's important, you know, the part of the very long period has been awesome. [37:45] Yeah, fully is, and we need them to continue. We need as many volunteers as possible in town. [37:51] And if anyone would like to volunteer, that's kind of the goal of community as well now, is instead of saying, hey, come join, you know, parts of our committee or something. [37:59] No, no, just like if we haven't had been coming up, if you want to give us an hour of time or help us put the lights up on the Zibo, [38:05] have the true lighting, that's the kind of community involvement we're looking for instead of like every week or every month commitment for me to use some things. [38:14] Yeah, because there's a difference is the board member, you got to be 18 resident of the town, or as if you just want to be a volunteer and come out and do something. [38:29] You can't send just 7-year-old and maybe send to the dead, but you know, all of it is probably [38:35] about a 15-year-old or anything like that, you know, the health is always welcome. [38:42] That was, get a boy scout proof up there and press you all into actions. [38:49] That's awesome. [38:50] Thanks, Audra. [38:51] Of course, thank you. [38:55] All right. Next we have our November special town meeting. [39:00] Can I have this one? [39:02] Okay, thank you. [39:04] So it's going to be Tuesday, November 17th, [39:08] 2026, it's going to be the far special town meeting. [39:13] It will be at 630 in the westerns to elementary schools. [39:16] So before I make a motion to schedule the far special town meeting. [39:23] Second, maybe we have motion in a second to schedule the November special town meeting for November 17th, 2026, all those in favour? [39:32] All right. [39:33] All right. [39:34] We'll also make a motion to set the dates for the opening closing in the words. [39:39] I will send it down in a second. [39:41] Did you just make the motion for that one? [39:43] Yes. [39:43] All right. [39:43] All right. [39:44] Okay, so we open closed the warrants on for the special fault meeting on September 21st, [39:53] 2026, and if the closed it at noon on Friday, October 9th, 2026. [39:59] All those in favour? [40:01] Aye. [40:03] I think we have no executive sessions scheduled, and so that wraps us up. [40:09] We want to thank the entire town of Westminster, [40:11] or an afternoon after tuning in tonight on an afternoon, [40:14] was meant to community easier. [40:16] Thank you, Tyler. [40:17] Very much coming in. [40:19] Thank you, Audrey, for having us. [40:20] And make a motion to adjourn. [40:22] Second. [40:24] All those in favor? [40:25] Five. [40:26] Five. [40:26] We are adjourned.
