[0:00] I figured that the chair would have the line and then you could [0:06] thank you. >> All right. [0:10] » Okay. [0:14] Let's go secondary road. [0:50] We're having lots of problems today. [1:01] 7530, but I had 71. [1:14] » They were out there. [1:18] All right, we will move on to discuss nuisance order. [1:51] Did anybody see [1:57] uninorporated part. >> No, I need to high concentration in [2:03] part. >> I couldn't find it. [2:06] That's part I was hoping [2:44] really it's still just all I found was that it was one of the turns just like [2:50] all the other but I've never found it anywhere in the [2:57] rest of it. [3:02] I don't think we can really action on this today until we do. [3:06] » I do feel like we need to incorporate the [3:13] information that was in the original ordinance and put it into the amended [3:18] ordinance five because I think there's a lot of stuff there that needs to [3:23] continue to be in our ordinance. >> Yeah, some of it was even eye opening [3:27] like gosh, I wish we had pulled this out. a couple other situations [3:32] » like in section of the old one >> with the question mark. [3:36] » Yes. [3:40] » You did a litigation somewhere. >> Yeah. [4:08] Yep. [4:13] » She wasn't available today. >> No, she's at a county attorney school [4:21] » and we think we at this public hearing, but maybe we need to [4:25] » join >> re set it back a little. [4:29] » No. >> Yeah, we want to get this right [4:36] » for sure. It was interesting to read the [4:41] the one signed by Robert Pson and Don Gwald and L. [5:02] I guess I'd like to [5:07] do it right. [5:13] » Well, and I think she was just showing you the two side by side. [5:17] » Right. and she she got the message last [5:24] » on that. >> So, we just need to add the purple stuff [5:28] into the amendment and then make sure it says something about the [5:34] village or the >> uninorporated [5:38] in the >> Yeah. And whatever verbage [5:44] feels [5:49] best, you know, because you have to define [5:55] what you're, you know, >> and you have to keep it within reason so [6:02] you're not affecting everybody trying to operation. [6:08] » And they had that separate in here kind of, didn't they? [6:16] a separate one that was the nuisance restrictions on farms and acres [6:25] I think it [6:34] » all right to number six [6:39] discussion with possible action railroad property easement in Newton Township [6:43] Hallelujah. [7:27] right on the edge of the [7:36] » We're not able to bring up, are we? Okay. [7:47] So, as was discussed yesterday, the actual location of the going to be kind [7:52] of variable on your study. [8:01] » We'd like to focus on where you guys like to have it and that's where we [8:06] would like to shoot for that. But in case it was to come up for something [8:10] environmental or [8:17] issues. >> Can you start over and explain? [8:22] » Okay. So, this is the railroad bedship that [8:27] under the abstract of Wango County. >> Okay. and it's been managed by the [8:34] county conservation and uh they are looking at trying to [8:39] cross it with what you call the line. >> So we're um next is [8:47] kind of the abandoned railroad um on Dan Ryerson's property. Well, he [8:54] surrounds that into the map. And I have one of these. [9:07] Anyhow, um we're looking for a 300T and um we were underneath it. However, [9:16] we originally we were looking at the south, [9:22] but we got to looking into the south and it was brought to our attention that [9:26] there's wetlands on the south side on Dan's property as well as there's a lot [9:30] more trees. So then I said, "Well, what about the north?" Because there's [9:34] actually a road or something there as well and there's not near as many trees. [9:39] So that's why we said we could possibly do it on the north. The only way we [9:43] couldn't do is if it's not constructable based off of the environmental studies. [9:48] Um and no studies won't take place until March or April. [9:53] So, um, what I had asked was that we go with the intentions of the 300T East on [10:01] the north end, um, with the option to if that doesn't work that we're going to [10:05] move it a little further down. You know, we're going to do what we can to [10:09] accommodate for everybody and [10:15] go from there. >> So, what you indicated was not being on [10:19] top is going to be >> That's correct. It's going to be [10:23] the damage will be on the land owner's property [10:28] » from where we dig the hole to go underneath when we come out. [10:34] We discussed [10:42] the lines will be spaced out far enough and deep enough that I don't see [10:48] significant environmental damage to [10:59] Well, absolutely. Tyling maps as well if he has them [11:04] available. If not, he can guess or somebody can provide us whatever. Um [11:11] I have I am requesting to have tiling language added in case we do some ting [11:17] where we will replace it for the len of the project. [11:22] as well as compaction to where if we do disturb the eastment area that we were [11:28] talking about that we will pay for the compaction that we cost on that [11:36] » and this this for dam or is this >> that is the county [11:40] » okay >> um that is has changed I don't want to [11:44] get into figures um but it has changed and um for the request of the meeting [11:50] yesterday [11:59] » and I know next era had the best interest of [12:05] the county EMS and down payment part of it that they would like to put that [12:10] money toward. That's the reason why we approach with what we did on our offer [12:14] was because of me coming to a board of supervisors meeting in the past and [12:19] hearing about the EMS equipment that was needed. Um, and so the safety and mind [12:24] that's what we had that's the reason we came to [12:28] this. Um, you know, there's what the county does with this is totally their [12:34] business, not ours. So we we normally try to go with who the surface owner is [12:40] or how the title reads and so um [12:47] that's the reason why I've been involved with everybody is because I just want to [12:50] make sure everybody's on the same page. Um I did go ahead based off of the [12:55] information I was provided yesterday. I went ahead and I did request the [12:58] agreement and I have included Kelsey um as well as that will be working with [13:06] our attorney to make sure that we get both sides of the party that everybody's [13:10] taken care of. So once um I get that I get a word document then our attorney [13:16] will more than likely email it right to Kelsey for approval to look over [13:20] everything. If there's any changes then they will discuss that on their own [13:24] between the two legal teams and then I'll just be the one that will come and [13:28] present this for signatures. Um, I did go ahead and ask, and Kelsey [13:33] may change this, but I did put all three supervisors on there for signatures. [13:38] Didn't know the protocol, but that's what I did. Um, [13:44] and other than that, we're putting a rush on it, and we're hoping to get this [13:47] taken care of as soon as possible so that we can move forward with [13:53] our project. Okay. [14:01] All I'm asking for today is to get motion to move forward with this to [14:07] where I can get the documents and get it to Kelsey for approval as well as y'all [14:12] will get a copy as soon as I get a copy. Um it don't make any sense for me to [14:17] come back and forth until the red line copy is done with the team. So soon as [14:24] that is done then I will let youall know and getting back on the board [14:29] or [14:41] » and I know for confidentiality reasons [14:46] not discussing amounts and stuff but there are some you [14:50] know [14:54] thoughts and uh would appreciate, you know, we'll [15:02] discuss with you guys, [15:06] you know, soon my thoughts that I had about the budget. [15:12] » Yeah. Projects like [15:21] you see on there there's, you know, there's a number of projects that are [15:24] coming in [15:27] the range of of that you're discussing and uh some of [15:34] them are you know a number of them are revenue generating projects you know [15:39] those kind of are priority for for us you know forward [15:54] there's one that's thinking outside the boxes. [16:00] » Yeah. Yeah. It's been ever since I started and you stand in the nature [16:05] center that that overlooking the prairie that uh I have some wild bison out there [16:10] and and we could >> Yeah. Have you checked with the [16:14] neighbors yet or >> I haven't we haven't gotten very far. [16:17] I've got into some just personal rough estimates on on the fencing cost. It's [16:22] not in the immediate future, but you know, it's could be something uh that [16:28] that we see a self- sustaining or potentially profitable [16:34] asset to the nature center, you know, bringing a historic animal back to to [16:38] the land. [16:43] » Somebody's got a product out there now that you don't need fences. [16:47] » It's kind of like >> from your app on your And you can move [16:52] their pasture from one place to another from your [16:58] » we had that today with our IT problems. Those bison would be on 69. [17:05] » I'd want some pretty insurance guarantees on that one. [17:13] » I kind of like some of these ideas. As the meeting ended yesterday, I asked [17:20] um Chris to just put some long range planning thoughts and ideas together. So [17:28] you can [17:31] » we all kind of know, you know, some of the wish list. [17:34] » Sure. We do have [17:40] couple of staff members that will be [17:45] nearing retirement the next five years on the staffing site. That's a [17:50] consideration. [18:00] Yeah, I'm guessing you're probably worse. [18:24] I think it's there's hope there that we might be able to fix. [18:30] there as opposed to replace for what it cost. [18:36] Be great to have a little wider bridge mowers and equipment back and forth, but [18:44] you're well into six figures for it gets used a lot, but it's hard to [18:51] justify that for >> that kind of money for a park. You know, [18:57] that money could go a long ways. towards other projects. A lot more [19:08] information [19:29] I guess if we were interested in in moving forward, are we [19:35] just looking at any kind of a motion to uh move forward with [19:43] negotiations with next era or how we looking at it? What do you want from us? [19:53] Yes. I just would like to see if I can get [19:57] an agreement to move forward. >> So that if we were to have a motion [20:02] today, then we would uh >> I [20:08] » we would come back, you would come back with that document. Then we probably [20:13] have another motion to approve that agreement as presented. [20:19] » So today's action would just be to purely for them. [20:25] » Yeah. Just to go forward agreements [20:31] » as as will be shown and we won't we won't have request signatures or [20:38] anything until after everything and it's been reviewed and [20:45] any changes that she wants request to have those changes made and [20:49] it'll just be much quicker. All [20:58] right. Well, I think this is got a lot of potential for [21:04] benefits to county programs and [21:12] benefits. I would make a motion to move forward [21:16] with the easement on the township [21:23] railroad bed. >> I'll second that [21:28] second Smith to go ahead of the easement township for [21:33] the railroad property. All in favor say I. I. [21:40] » Thank you. [21:52] It's not sec. [22:06] » All right. Let's discuss secondary road matter. [22:16] » Good morning. >> Good morning. [22:21] » Project in progress right now that I came from and can give you a little [22:26] update on. Um our county crew is working on a gravel road stabilization project. [22:34] The dust spots product. the dust pods repers on site who helped to [22:42] coach us through the process. Um they started at 6:00 a.m. They mix the [22:48] product with water and a tanker and spray it on the road from several [22:52] different passes and kind of mix it back and forth with the scarifier and [22:56] maintainers. Two maintainers out there right now. Um they're working on the [23:01] first mile which is 150th Avenue Highway 9 going south. [23:07] » So you have it kind of closed off just for local traffic. [23:10] » I wouldn't say that. It's uh right now the window when I left there was maybe [23:15] two foot tall, but on both sides of it was easily drivable. So [23:20] » not much different than a regular road. >> Just a little bit bigger window as all. [23:24] Um but otherwise pretty well the same. And of course we got trucks of plates [23:29] and the water truck and two maintainers. So there's a little more equipment out [23:32] there. I would I think by, you know, 11:00 they'd be [23:39] getting the grade fine tuned and rolling it and and looking to hopefully move on [23:45] to the second mile south from there. Yep. today. [23:50] Um I'm not sure if he's got the water truck [23:54] running for a day or not sure that's one of the factors [23:59] trying to get done today in the forecast of course too. We're not really you're [24:03] looking for a good moisture in the road but not raining. [24:08] So we we kind of hit it just right here today. We got a little shot of rain the [24:11] other day. They put a little extra water on it yesterday and then all the water [24:16] that comes with the solution of material they put on there. [24:21] So this road when we're when it's finally rolled and cured after a day and [24:27] a half, two days, it'll be like a hard surface to go away. [24:35] It should have very minimal dust. It won't require any blading through the [24:40] summer unless we have some flower pockets that show up. [24:46] So, our intent is to be entirely hands off with this road also, [24:53] right? See how it weathers through the winter and [24:56] have minimal bleeding going forward for the next few years? That's the intent of [25:00] the project. [25:04] » So, was there anybody that needed to be notified on that? those roads ahead of [25:10] time or I'm wondering about the north side into Bryce Lake. Will people need [25:15] to be notified when you do that one? >> I mean, we [25:21] didn't on this stretch and we've had plenty of traffic working around. [25:25] » I just think they're going to be happy and excited about it. So, it's a little [25:29] PR. >> Sure. We didn't really advertise this [25:31] one because it's a a process we haven't done before and uh so there's a lot of [25:37] unknowns with it. >> Yes. Yeah. [25:40] » But it seems to be going fine. We seem to have the right equipment out there [25:45] » that's capable of doing what we are required to do for product. [25:51] » There's just one scarifier then or both >> just one stifier in front of one [25:55] maintainer is I don't know maybe six feet wide. So that's I mean one of the [25:58] limiting factors is we have to make >> maybe maybe a couple golden passes and [26:05] uh first with the scarifier and then with the maintainers to wind rope the [26:08] material and then mix it then lay it back down then roll it. So it's just [26:13] several passes. That's maybe the part that takes time in [26:19] addition to filling up the truck with water which he said doesn't need to be a [26:23] municipal or well source or trying to figure out ways to get faster [26:28] wire. They got extra tank out there. They're pumping film to try and speed up [26:33] the truck filling process. Guess we're looking at all options for [26:39] the other ones. Fire hydrant or some other way to get fast water that's not [26:44] going to cost. >> How much how many gallons per day you [26:48] figure? >> Well, I thought it was 12,000 a mile. [26:53] 12,000 gallons. And he said, "Well, Depends on the type of day. It depends [26:58] on the moisture and the material. And I think they'll end up more than that out [27:01] there somewhere between 1500 I think. [27:08] So we just, you know, we got a 4,000 gallon truck to few times to refill it. [27:17] Imagine all the farmers are probably using their their water tanks right now [27:22] for you know when we were farming we had big water tanks that we could come in [27:27] can load fast get out of it. >> Yeah. They have one that they borrow for [27:32] that purpose today. So it's going it's going fine. You know [27:39] while we're doing our first trial it's nice not that things working too fast. [27:43] It's humid and not drying out super fast. You know, [27:48] dry day where it's windy might be a problem to keep ahead of the moisture. [27:55] I know I don't know what the cost is, but I know they have trucks [28:02] there. [28:14] So that's what I know on that. If I shoot you an update, you can stop by. [28:22] So a couple other things looking forward. We have [28:26] microsurfacing on A38 from Leland to the church for [28:33] next week possibly. We also possibly may have brothers are [28:39] their subcontractors here to start on Rice Lake [28:44] 235th out there. I'll have a little bit of milling work to do and then they'll [28:49] have a reclaiming operation followed by kind of a maintainer and [28:55] fine-tune the grade and rolling process and then following they're planning to [29:02] repave the parking lot at Rice Lake at the same time. So there might be some [29:05] overlap back and forth there. [29:11] should just take a week or so to kind of do all that if it all lines up [29:17] perfectly. >> So, how will the edges be? How did you [29:21] end up with how wide a they call that edge on the road? [29:26] » Shoulder. >> The shoulder. How wide? [29:28] » Um, probably like a foot. [29:32] » So, yeah. >> I mean, at some spots it's a lot wider [29:35] and some spots it's not. [29:40] » And we can't do anything about that unless we hold in a large amount of [29:43] dirt, which >> there's potential that that could [29:48] happen, but we're most likely just going to put [29:54] enough material there to get foot next to it so the edge of the pavement is not [29:58] there. >> The restriction there is when you start [30:02] hauling in dirt for more shoulder, then you're limiting how wide the ditch is. [30:07] Yeah, the ditches through there are not working the best anyway. So, there's [30:13] pile on the golf course side that's I think does sufficient job. The field [30:18] side is need some work if it were to work like a [30:22] normal ditch, but I see that it's negatively affecting the farm either. [30:26] So, [30:30] » yeah, it's narrow. That's just a 66 foot right away there just like a gravel [30:33] road. So compared to pavements with wide shoulders and ditches really isn't room [30:38] for that to be ideal. [30:46] » When did you say that was going to happen? [30:49] » June 15 is the date that is have been provided. [30:57] kinds of projects sometimes show up earlier than expected or later or [31:01] sometimes with short notice, especially if they're small like this one. [31:10] Try to keep everybody at home. [31:18] I am leaving Thursday for [31:23] and I'll be out for a while. So, I'll have a phone with me with an [31:30] international plan, but uh you you'll be better ser [31:38] Eric or Rachel or calling. They ought to be set up to take care of [31:43] anything you need. [31:50] probably won't get into any of our bridge replacement projects until I get [31:54] back. Um, so I think they'll be pretty heavy [31:59] on the work orders doing culvert separations and tile repairs and [32:04] miscellaneous ditch cleaning and that kind of stuff. Our guys will be pretty [32:07] well sticking to that stuff. >> I think that's probably good to do [32:10] before you get going on the >> Yeah, I mean we try to cram as much as [32:13] we can into the before we get going on those projects because from the day we [32:17] start we'll have our older crew tied up for probably three months [32:23] um two months two to three months depending on how weather goes [32:28] fourth of July holiday happens and the guys mostly kick off quite some time [32:32] around there and then the following week we try to dig anything you know get get [32:37] started on bigger projects [32:43] we have uh We're cooperating with D& Solutions on [32:48] the cover replacement that came up all of a sudden off the junction. [32:53] Um, so we pick a couple quotes on just the equipment labor for that [33:00] just to try and keep things moving. You know, that one's got a big smash in it. [33:05] So, we kind of wanted to move it up in priority. We got kind of a schedule [33:08] that's that's pretty full for our own guys. So, they'll be bringing in their [33:13] excavators and dozers and doing all the digging and they'll call for loads of [33:18] rock just like our guys do and our guys will haul it and [33:22] we'll kind of work together on it like that. I think it'll work pretty good. [33:29] That's supposed to be in the next [33:34] month to six weeks. We wanted it pretty tight on that sound. [33:43] pipe should be delivered any day. [33:49] » Do you have a dollar on that? I can't remember what you said. [33:52] » Uh probably didn't haven't had one until now. The labor of the contract is more [33:59] than 30,000 less than 40. I don't have the number with me. And then the the [34:04] cover pipe is in that same range also. So, you know, we might have $8,000 [34:11] project or a little better by the time we buy a couple of the rock [34:16] and couple of the driveway pipes and whatever else is needed [34:22] to the surface. [34:29] That's something we haven't really done before. So [34:36] » for the sake of timeline, I think good opportunity and it's the type of project [34:41] that's kind of easy to quote, you know, like if we were to quote 10 [34:47] fixes or something like that. There's kind of a whole lot of things that are [34:50] going to make it go up and down, how much time it takes and what things are [34:53] required, but this one pretty cut dry. So, [34:56] » we just decided to take the opportunity and try something a little bit [34:59] different. I think it'll work good. [35:12] Believe that's what I have for updates today. [35:17] » I have a question on that road west. [35:24] » Any way to put some rip in there to hold that bank [35:30] on the back slope? [35:36] force it to go around. >> Well, I mean, there's rip wrap is a [35:41] double-edged sword because it will work and stabilize the slope, [35:48] but the sediment's still going to pour out of that field and then our guys will [35:52] try to be cleaning a ditch with rip. [35:58] And so basically what they have to do is pull it all out one piece at a time, [36:02] clean the ditch again, and then place it all back one piece at a time. [36:07] » Yeah. Do we want to do that every time? I don't know. [36:14] » There's a better fix than that, I think, out there. [36:16] » It needs a filter strip or something. And what it really needs, right? [36:21] » It's still even if you had a filter strip there, I think the pressure would [36:25] be there. would eat away at that slope. [36:29] » Possible >> just you know filter strip absorb so [36:34] much more [36:38] » has potential to and it slows the water down. [36:43] » The potential to >> the slowing the water is kind of what [36:46] that spot really means. [36:51] What's this? [37:03] Probably won't be able to talk [37:11] in there or anything like that. [37:17] That's across there. You know that traps water. [37:22] helps with erosion, but it's something to work around. You know, [37:27] you get stripped filter silk fences several times along there [37:32] and it's you'd have to farm around it and have to be the grass water way to [37:38] start. [37:44] I think we can certainly clean it out again. [37:49] I what we can do to prevent it from happening other than get participation. [37:55] » So when that water spills over there, it's really if it hits the ditch and [37:59] then is supposed to go south, >> supposed to go south and you know the [38:03] ditch has tall grass. So it's just a big filter. [38:07] » So the water goes down the ditch and all of a sudden it gets left behind. So you [38:11] get these wind like wind rows and piles of siltation [38:16] corn stocks if that's the case and all that just breaks down. [38:21] fills up the ditch and then you got water cut [38:25] the last >> road [38:30] » and then it's dangerous, you know, come >> flying around those [38:36] don't know it's washed out. [38:42] » Thanks. [38:49] 25 primary election. [39:28] So there's four packets. The first packet that you have, Susan, is for us [39:33] for our canvas. The second pack that Terry has is for the state and the two [39:40] smaller packets are for the county [39:46] chairs. So the Republican chair and the Democrat chair [39:54] pass down the bill because his name is [40:13] I got [41:40] How did it all go? [41:44] There's always interesting things that happened, but it overall went well. [42:32] It seemed like there was a lot more votes this year for a lot of this. [42:38] » Yeah, I think it's pretty typical to have about that many. [42:46] Of course, the Democratic side for the a lot of the things didn't have any [42:53] candidates, so there's always going to be under votes there. [43:15] I did an administrative recount of the absent views this year. [43:20] Um, and that went fine. Had them in absentee board in the next morning and [43:25] we write them all through again and everything matched. Just I wanted to [43:31] » How many people are on that board that you call? [43:35] » Uh, well, four. >> Four. [43:37] » I have to have at least three and I can have as many as I want, but I have four [43:42] in the chair. [43:46] No, no, that is um it is election workers, pole workers that I've [43:52] hired. [44:01] Nobody ever realizes how much work goes into those. [44:07] » And so we still have um at the fairness on Thursday, we have uh an audit that we [44:13] do. So we bring in they have 34 workers coming in [44:18] and we'll hand count all the ballots in uh M Valley precinct I think is what the [44:26] secretary chose for this year and then they they hand count two races. [44:32] » Okay. >> So that we can make sure it matches with [44:34] their machines. It always has. So that's good. [44:41] » So they just random things. >> Yeah. secretary chooses uh two races and [44:47] a precinct. [44:55] That's on Thursday morning at 9 and anyone's welcome to attend. [45:06] You counted down. I counted down. [45:53] Did you put out the announcement that there will be a pool party today in the [45:58] fountain? >> No. [46:01] » Start next week. >> Blessings start next week. [46:06] » Custodian. >> Speaking of the fountain, they take they [46:10] work. Yeah. Any of them? [46:13] » Yes. Because that's a lot of >> I applied for a grant from the American [46:22] Legion Foundation and I did not receive it. So, I'm disappointed, but [46:40] Keep trying, don't we? >> Mhm. [46:59] A lot of people pass their kids and stuff around [47:06] how it all came to be. [47:13] We used to joke that the water fountain that was right out there that was just [47:17] the fountain water [47:21] that fountain. [47:29] Was it? No. [47:46] I wouldn't drink the fountain water. I see a lot of lot of things going that [47:50] water. >> A lot of people, a lot of dogs [47:54] that got fountain water. [48:12] all sorts of stuff. [48:17] » It's been a few years since I've seen that. [48:23] » You may maybe you have [48:27] » four or five years ago. >> I remember there was a couple flashing [48:31] it. You know, these aren't supposed to be in there. Sure. Look, they were [48:35] having fun. So, >> I also, you know, there's electricity [48:40] that runs like right through there. So, it makes me nervous when I see like kids [48:45] splash around in there, but >> it should be all grounded. But, you [48:49] know, [49:01] we get any Mickey Mouse ones that were writings or anything. [49:06] » There was a few writins. Are they in the big book? [49:12] » Always interesting just seeing who the rights are. [50:09] There you go. [50:20] Watch. [50:26] » You ever seen that? [50:30] in the earth. >> Oh yes. [50:32] » Running all that coins [50:36] of [50:40] connect. [50:49] » You know that that whole movie was based on the Odyssey. The whole movie is based [50:54] on the >> what movie? [50:58] Oh, >> and the oneeyed guy and Cyclops gets in [51:02] there and the sirens. It's all >> It's old story. [51:09] » We were up in Oregon. >> Really? [51:15] We did not see that ship see [53:38] Well, at least we don't take two to three weeks to count the votes. [53:56] or something. [54:03] » Will be happy to hear that he's been written in a number of times to come out [54:09] of retirement. [54:15] Is it every single race? I think so. [54:47] I'd like to make a motion to accept the canvas 2026 primary election. [54:55] I'll second [55:00] the cab in favor say I. [55:04] » I [55:30] Brian, do you open form while we're signing? [55:33] » I I just have one thing. Um, for fiscal year 27, there are 27 pays in the fiscal [55:42] year. So, we're going to need to adjust our payroll. And so I will have a couple [55:51] of resolutions hopefully for next week on how we're going to tackle that. Um I [55:59] talked to our external auditor and she feels we need to change [56:07] uh right now we pay kind of by pay periods for the salaried and we pay by [56:15] um hours for the elderly people and she wants us to change to pay [56:24] per day for the salary people. So, I need to look into how that'll [56:32] » the first payroll of July. And so, we I got a little bit of work to do [56:41] before July on changing >> thought process on that. Um so the way [56:47] we do it right now she's saying that the salaried people get paid ahead and [56:55] um [57:00] » to make it more equitable. >> I well I don't I don't [57:06] that's what I I have to look into because she but you we still get paid [57:11] what we're supposed to get paid. So if we change it and the the salary people [57:17] won't get paid their full salary. So, I I just need to do some research, look [57:23] into it, but there will be um like I said, some resolutions that [57:30] you'll need to sign to when we get it all figured out hopefully by next week. [57:37] » July is coming. >> Yes, it sure is. [57:44] I got a question. Round table discussion. We've been um contemplating [57:49] uh that Pete fire. Did we ever get reimbured for that? Did the county get [57:52] reimbured for that fire? >> Are they going to? [57:55] » It's in litigation. >> Okay. [57:58] That could be a long time. [58:08] » California votes done now because they got the result they wanted. Is that [58:11] over? They usually keep until [58:17] I I don't know. I haven't set my vote, >> you know. I'm going to have to admit [58:22] after this primary election, I'm thinking I should do that myself. [58:29] » I'm also on EMS committee. I'm wondering with the communication issue, do we have [58:34] to discuss anything on our end on the advisory board? But we patient [58:41] » when is that meeting? We're having a tech meeting on Wednesday and then we'll [58:46] have the advisory committee probably the next [58:51] week. >> So, [58:54] » will there be a conclusion as to what we need for [58:57] » it's going to go there's a there's a group that's meeting with the [59:02] communications committee too, right? [59:05] » That's Monday, isn't it? >> Yeah. [59:12] the 22 >> that we set that up because it's their [59:15] budget that would implement it. [59:20] » But but part of the money that we might be getting might go toward [59:24] communication. We're just I'm just >> we need a [59:32] Joe has directed to look into other options. [59:37] Uh we heavily talked about the one that uh birth and reborn and they're all the [59:46] same and so we're trying to find that [59:53] June 18. >> Okay. [59:57] What's the >> June 18th [1:00:00] » at Thompson? The tech is at Thompson. We'll probably have the advisory one [1:00:05] here. [1:00:14] Unless you really wanted, Thompson, it wouldn't hurt my feelings. [1:00:24] » Yeah. [1:00:50] 6:00. >> Um, [1:00:56] » yeah, that usually the advisory. [1:01:00] » Yeah. [1:01:06] is at 5:30. So [1:01:16] » you stay natur. [1:01:25] » Yeah. >> Yeah. [1:01:36] Yes. [1:01:41] » Yeah. [1:01:46] » Yes. [1:02:02] We did. Okay. There's somebody on hot spot. [1:02:04] » Oh, good. [1:02:38] I always feel sad that people wasted that, [1:02:42] you know, they put in the effort to actually show up and Right. [1:02:52] » Mickey Mouse is always happy. [1:03:17] I see I got written in FC1 >> on the Democrat side. [1:03:22] » Oh, is that Democrat? >> Yep. [1:03:24] » Oh, okay. [1:04:26] There's a lot of sighting today. [1:04:33] Brink Please. [1:05:27] And then I had a black [1:05:37] Nice [1:05:46] to slow down quickly. [1:07:15] Very good. [1:07:37] Yes, [1:07:42] » I have. >> Yeah. [1:07:47] » Um I I do believe we should >> advertise it though. [1:07:54] » Yeah, >> you're working on that. Okay. [1:07:56] » Okay, good. Thank you. [1:08:00] » And then it needs to be posted on >> Yeah. [1:08:07] » that we um think it's July 1, but I'll double [1:08:12] check [1:08:16] » for publications. [1:08:26] of the courthouse and it's got to be on websites and it's got to be on [1:08:38] » to come up with some type of clear pocket or something that we can put on [1:08:43] the door that's more permanent. >> You don't want just a bunch of scotch [1:08:46] tape. I pulled off a couple of old ones the [1:08:50] other day so we can come up with [1:08:56] one in the hallway possibly conservation. [1:09:00] » There you go. [1:09:10] Um, [1:09:14] » it says the >> agenda must be published at published in [1:09:18] at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting. [1:09:22] Um, specifically advise news agencies that [1:09:28] has requested the agenda which is same as what we have and post a paper copy in [1:09:34] a pro prominent and conspicuous location that is visible at all times. [1:09:40] uh so posted on the door of the courthouse and post on county websites. [1:09:45] There is no exceptions to this. Failure to comply [1:09:50] and result in hefty fines and disciplinary action. It's just it's just [1:09:54] meeting notices [1:09:58] » public meeting notice requirements >> the agenda or just the notice of [1:10:05] » so any like meeting notices any uh I would say public bid letings any [1:10:12] anything that would require a public notice so like anything that we put in [1:10:15] the paper >> well like a public hearing that's [1:10:18] already part of the board meeting I'm still asking [1:10:22] You have to have the agenda on that post. Okay. Well, the reason I as [1:10:31] easier to have electronic sign out there just [1:10:36] in [1:10:40] » kind of like a monitor out there that do >> that wouldn't be bad [1:10:46] outdoor screen >> because there could be really multiple [1:10:53] Scott's need to post something and we have [1:10:57] » granular like if you post a meeting do I also need a separate public hearing as a [1:11:02] part of the meeting do I need >> that's a question for Kelsey [1:11:07] » I think on the agenda >> bid letting is not what I would think of [1:11:12] as a public meeting even though it's [1:11:17] open for public viewings I suppose The problem with putting it on an [1:11:23] electronic phone is that it would have to scroll of some sort. So if somebody [1:11:27] walked up I mean how would you put mult [1:11:38] like my TV at home doesn't have photos that [1:11:43] » just a continuous slideshow of image any department can connect to that screen [1:11:49] post. >> Oh yeah [1:11:54] we don't get it hijacked. [1:12:03] You don't want the playing on it. I was thinking more like the movies [1:12:08] where they hijack the whole world [1:12:18] through [1:12:34] » I I can take a picture of you. [1:12:43] My family, [1:12:48] my kids will notice. [1:12:59] » You seem [1:13:16] the department heads. [1:13:21] » I think we could probably say we're >> Oh, good. [1:13:26] Yeah, we
