[8:23] specific requirements for when we can
[8:25] then tap into a letter of credit or
[8:27] other things if there's some type of
[8:29] default in maintenance or other things
[8:31] or at the time solar developer doesn't
[8:34] properly decommission. the county is
[8:36] covered through this agreement to pull
[8:38] on the letter of credit to remove the
[8:42] equipment from the site. This is this is
[8:46] the last stage. Uh we actually have the
[8:48] building permit in front of us. It's the
[8:50] last thing we needed before we can
[8:51] actually issue the building permit for
[8:53] them to start construction.

[11:26] discussions on how to creatively figure
[11:29] out how we can get entitlements to
[11:31] pieces of property in the middle of our
[11:34] egg land uh that would benefit farmers.
[11:37] So I think uh that will be a discussion
[11:39] that we'll have here coming up uh today
[11:42] and and in the future and hopefully uh
[11:46] we can
[11:48] especially before we do the land use
[11:50] plan as well. I think that would be a
[11:53] smart move on our part.

[15:37] award from the Minnesota Recreation and
[15:39] Parks Association um for a award of
[15:42] excellence in programming specifically
[15:43] for the challenge right program for 2025
[15:46] which was the first year that we did
[15:48] that. Um the program was to highlight
[15:51] seven different parks within our park
[15:53] system. And then um we worked with
[15:55] different businesses around Wright
[15:56] County as well to give receive awards
[16:00] and prizes for those families that
[16:01] completed all seven hikes. And so it was
[16:04] a partnership across the county between
[16:06] us and these businesses. Um we had 100
[16:09] people register for this program. So
[16:12] that included 25 families and 12
[16:14] individuals. Um and so part of the
[16:16] program they got a commemorative um
[16:20] buckthorn hiking stick that we my summer
[16:22] staff did and then um the park
[16:25] maintenance staff did a really great job
[16:27] as well with maintaining the park trails
[16:29] obviously across the county but
[16:30] specifically they worked really hard on
[16:32] the seven um trails that were picked out
[16:35] for this challenge ride to make sure
[16:37] that they were maintained and easy to
[16:39] access for those individuals doing this
[16:41] program. Um, Dileia did a really great
[16:44] job on reaching out and getting the
[16:47] sponsorships and then also being in
[16:50] contact with the families and
[16:51] individuals as they reached out. And um,
[16:55] yeah. Yeah. I just wanted to highlight
[16:57] um, last year for 2025, we did receive
[17:00] some sponsorships. Um, Arby's was one of
[17:04] them. Dairy Queen, Runnings, Buffalo
[17:06] Pizza sponsored our um our end of the
[17:11] year party or our end of the program
[17:12] party with their pizza. We had Fleet
[17:15] Farm, Centralot Cooperative, Buffalo
[17:18] Companion, Buffalo Companion Animal
[17:20] Clinic, and then Imagine um gave us some
[17:23] movie tickets, too. So,
[17:25] special thanks again for that last year.

[17:40] Association 2025 award of excellence in

[17:47] program. Before presenting the award,
[17:49] I'd like to share a little bit about the
[17:50] Minnesota Recreation and Park
[17:51] Association. Founded in 1937, MRPA is
[17:56] dedicated to advancing the parks and
[17:57] recreation profession throughout
[17:59] Minnesota. Today, the association serves
[18:01] approximately 850 members, including
[18:03] parks and recreation professionals,
[18:05] board and commission members, students,
[18:08] retirees, and corporate partners from
[18:10] municipal, county, state, district,
[18:12] commercial, and private agencies across
[18:14] the state. And since 1987, the MRPA
[18:17] awards committee has recognized
[18:19] individuals and agencies that
[18:20] demonstrate excellence in innovation in
[18:23] parks, recreation, and leisure services.
[18:25] The committee represents a diverse
[18:27] cross-section of professionals from
[18:28] throughout Minnesota and is committed to
[18:30] celebrating the exceptional programs,
[18:32] parks, trails, facilities, and services
[18:34] that enrich communities across our
[18:36] state. The awards of excellence program
[18:38] honors initiatives that were either
[18:39] implemented or significantly enhanced
[18:42] during the previous calendar year.
[18:44] Agencies may submit nominations in seven
[18:46] categories: administrative or management
[18:48] strategies, communications, parks and
[18:51] facility, programming and events,

[18:58] thorough review and scoring process by

[19:07] how recreation can inspire people to
[19:09] explore their community, be physically
[19:11] active, and connect with the incredible
[19:13] park resources Wright County has to
[19:16] offer by encouraging the participants to
[19:18] visit seven different parks through a
[19:19] fun and engaging walking challenge. The
[19:21] program successfully promotes healthy
[19:23] lifestyles while showcasing the beauty
[19:24] and accessibility of the county's park
[19:26] system. Its creativity, community
[19:28] impact, and ability to encourage outdoor
[19:30] recreation made it a standout among our
[19:34] nominations from throughout Minnesota.

[24:32] re-engineering uh Jim uh Amy um
[24:36] leadership in HHS um admin I can't thank

[24:44] who've been so patient during this
[24:45] process. So we're kind of here and thank
[24:48] you uh for approving it. I just want to
[24:51] give a little bit of a kind of an update
[24:52] for you as a reminder and and those that
[24:55] are paying attention uh in the
[24:56] community. So we uh today uh got
[25:00] completed the five division
[25:02] re-engineerings uh which started with
[25:04] aging, disability and public health on
[25:06] 519 uh business services and financial
[25:08] services on 6:30 and then today child
[25:11] and family services. Uh it was done with
[25:14] a lot of work and um a lot of patience
[25:16] like I said before and our focus really
[25:19] was on streamlining uh supporting the
[25:21] agency longterm, reducing redundancy and
[25:24] doing uh the best job possible in our
[25:26] community. And at the end of the day,
[25:28] uh, we saved1,148.
[25:31] And I think that's a positive. Um, and
[25:34] the staff count now is $256 versus 258
[25:38] before. So, uh, truly was a
[25:40] re-engineering, not necessarily a reorg.
[25:43] And, um, this will allow us to move
[25:45] forward foundationally and continue to
[25:47] build the department and I think be
[25:49] second to none. We have great staff,
[25:51] great people, and this will help get us
[25:53] to the next level, which uh we start
[25:55] now. Uh so if there's any questions from
[25:57] the board, uh feel free to ask. But
[26:00] super proud of the team upstairs and
[26:02] where we're going and wanted to share
[26:03] that with you and the community. So,
