[0:16] Member Gorg, here. [0:17] Here. [0:17] Here. [0:17] Here. [0:17] Member Lam, here. [0:22] Member Quilty. [0:24] And because her risk is absent. [0:26] Are there any comments on a closed session? [0:28] No, there were not. [0:29] Awesome. Okay, so we're going to be set to close that. [1:01] And just as well [1:08] for a general conversation, [1:14] no questions, we'll go ahead and ask you a report. [1:30] Okay, we're going to be board and audience members. [1:33] I don't know if I can come to that. [1:37] So, last week, we had a close rush, kind of crisis interest, and it was a huge success. [1:43] The place they student ran close, crisis interest. [1:46] We held it for three seats and fried in that lunch. [1:48] are active. I'm Friday, one of our teachers, and who has been informed that it's for [1:53] best people. [1:57] And then also many of our community service clubs, such as Fonger's [2:01] helping key clubs, land and interactive and helping waters in the community, such for [2:05] community events, such as the walk for Alzheimer's. Also, we recently held efforts [2:12] sending meeting, our bus senators were able to put an input for the research school events [2:18] in a fairly well. [2:20] Today, my CCHS hosted the Center County Board meeting, where all our seniors were invited [2:27] to watch the meeting and get some experience in local government. [2:30] They went really well, a lot of students did show up, and even our band, like the form of [2:36] a little bit before the meeting. [2:38] And it went really good at this, but fun. [2:39] And then, for sports, last Tuesday, volleyball, one against VELVIS stuff is zero. [2:46] Football has a game this Friday, home, against analog, but our student section theme is [2:54] a mom-out where we will be where we're going to hold it, and we have homecoming coming up. [3:00] It is second week of October, we'll be having a spare week for that week, and Foko is on [3:07] on September 13th, then we'll have our football games, and our game will be starting at [3:13] September 15th. We hope you guys will be able to join us. We're going to have a tell [3:16] week, set on the 5th and 830th, and the JVV, this whole field group, we'll have games [3:22] about a group, we'll be able to have fun. And then before the game, classes, in clubs, we'll [3:28] wait on the track, it's kind of like show up, but they're all about the set of all [3:37] Um, I was wondering if there's any progress on the request to what we look at only fundraising, [3:43] because I've been talking about, yes, and Mr. Bentley, that, um, our business, [3:48] since you were getting these out, I've been looking into, um, vendors at it when the [3:55] law for you to execute it. Okay, sounds good. Thank you. And then, as well for the [4:00] So the reader buses, but I want to mention that our ASB team will be able to paper them, [4:07] and we only use it just like the play on page, which I believe is beginning to remember, [4:13] and you should, was there any talk about that? [4:19] So, I would ask that I'm supposed to talk about that. [4:23] Okay, talk about that. [4:24] To see whether or not this guy is going to be able to read for us. [4:26] Okay, so we're happy to be able to do it in the past. [4:29] So, we're happy to be able to do it in the past. [4:33] And that's all I hope you guys have for the League of Nights. [4:36] Thank you. [4:37] Thank you. [4:39] Thank you. [4:45] Did you want me to talk to you again? [4:47] No. [4:49] Good evening to school ward and audience. [4:52] I'm sorry for being late. [4:53] It's been a crazy day. [4:54] I've been at the Youth Conference in the socks. [4:55] I've been joining back with that. [4:57] So start up with our being used. [5:00] There's been a lot going on recently, our administration and staff have started this meeting called bunch on the green. Basically teachers will eat on the lawn, basically every Friday, just so they can interact more with students and sit around with students. [5:14] So I had a grant. Those are writing up here. [5:18] It's just a fun way for the teachers to interact more with the students beyond just the class. And in a more informal setting. [5:25] Also, I'm not sure if you're aware of both CNN 10, because this leaves that any regular [5:30] of these shows of, oh my gosh, classes, and on Friday, September 22, we showed it all. [5:37] Shout it out in the student melodies, and join with you, class. [5:40] So that was, I remember when you saw each of them, every day in my hero class, every day in my [5:45] hero class, every day in my hero class, every day in my hero class, every day in my hero class. [5:45] And then our 10th team has joined me against Bell of VISTA, they had two tiebreakers, and we're very [5:51] under them, this will increase their chance in playoffs, so we're part of the girls for all [5:57] the efforts they do, and also in sports, and we have an eSports team, which is a [6:03] official that first YC that's the Virgali eSports team, which is like my master Henderson, [6:10] and it's an official FBI team, which means we'll be getting them journeys, these will have [6:13] members, they'll be registered, they have to go through like whole registration process, [6:18] Just like any other sport, the football basketball tier, and next year we'll be adding [6:23] that in as well, which I'm told when they get super cool, and this past week we've [6:30] been building clothes at the school, which hasn't happened for the first time in like years. [6:34] This is when we build them at a student's house, but now they've been at school when we [6:39] bring it back to old-trader size, so no longer we did this more clothes, and that'll go [6:44] are praying, which is like our Hoco week, which is now [6:48] in the past two days, two minutes have been [6:50] where in the spirit of we have been lunched. [6:51] We've had activities. [6:53] My day was ringed, and we came back back day. [6:56] People brought microwave, two hours of luggage, [6:58] and it was really cool. [7:02] Today was hiking day, to go along with our road trip theme. [7:07] So I saw a lot of people with the hide states, [7:09] the shorts that I believe in all that bloody gears and just reminded that tomorrow is our [7:18] part of game. I'd love to see you guys there when I growl like football and there's [7:23] varieties, are we going to be our homecoming game where we will be announcing royalty and smart, [7:30] not smart. Sorry, I didn't mind to use wrong. Thursday is our parade. I'm so sorry because [7:37] But Thursday is our parade and we can see there it starts at 9.50 a.m. and we'll have [7:43] clubs, athletics, students, everybody out there, either watching or walking in the parade, [7:48] as well as our world to riding in cars or on their floats. And our final, oh we know Saturday, [7:55] right about that, the most important thing our homecoming dance, a night in New York, [7:59] which will start at U.K.M., and everybody's brought their dresses, they brought their taxes, [8:03] it'll be great. And my last bit of me, good news, is the honorary special student who I [8:09] feel I've been talking at as a similar meeting. Emma Tierra, a junior, who just broke [8:14] our River Valley High School record to the junior, she did 18, 20 in a 5K. And now she's [8:20] on, um, she's in a pool for both on this Act B, for Sacramento area's high school girls [8:26] prepping the week. I feel like every week I'm talking about our breaking new records getting [8:30] first place, she's phenomenal and we're really proud to see all of that she's achieving. [8:36] So, that's all. [8:38] And thank you for being with me while I saw all of those places. [8:41] It's like, what time is it? [8:55] I don't know where I could get it just fine. [8:59] I said it down. [9:01] All of it. [9:01] He's so much better than this. [9:04] Okay. [9:05] I'm going to buy a second. [9:07] I'm going to give you this. [9:08] So this is very exciting tonight. [9:11] We are going to recognize some of our schools. [9:14] And Dr. Ginn, who's going to talk about our PVR schools. [9:18] And who has an award in which colors? [9:21] Oh, it's an award. [9:23] Yes. [9:24] Thank you. [9:26] Nice to meet you guys. [9:27] Nice to meet you. [9:27] Thanks for being here more. [9:28] And for taking a moment to recognize some of our schools. [9:31] Some of you do a brief history on PBS. [9:34] Positive behavior intervention systems. [9:37] The district's bought rocks. [9:38] PBS 2. [9:40] Our school sites back in 2017. [9:43] And we kind of rolled out a little bit to the sites. [9:45] And then got it on some other sites. [9:48] And had to get over some hurdles of [9:53] And then we really started to realize 2019, it wasn't, and then 2020. [10:00] And we had to take a little hiatus from our trainings and our activities. But we picked up steam again and we have some sites that really never lost steam. [10:10] They took that energy in that leadership and it's beyond, you know, when you see the flags and you see the posters and you see the motto and kids are getting tickets. It's way past that. [10:21] And I hope that when you step on these particular schools in particular, that you feel that energy and that [10:29] exters school culture. [10:30] It's the foundation of everything we do now. [10:32] Recognizing students for positive behaviors, modeling the positive behaviors, the expectations [10:37] that we have of them. [10:39] You know, we don't need to go through it here's the list of rules and what you can't do. [10:42] But here's the expectations and how we do behave on these campuses. [10:47] So last year, it's a pretty rigorous application process to get recognized [10:51] my California PBIS, and additions to an outside evaluator comes in and does what's called [10:57] the TFI. So, a fidelity inventory to double verify that you're implementing the program, [11:05] the Bayes intended to be implemented. I mean, this is a research-based program. It's [11:08] nationally scientifically based out of the University of Oregon, but only if you're implementing [11:13] it correctly. So, the TFI verifies that it's being implemented correctly by an outside person. [11:20] They have to go through a very old application submit notes, make sure they have their members. [11:26] And really prove that they're using the program, the way it's intended to be used, which is to not be a program, right? [11:32] To be part of who you are, to really have it embedded in your schools. [11:36] So four of our studies were recognized with the silver recognition, which is bronze as the lowest, silver, gold, platinum as we're striving to be. [11:47] So, let me introduce our first silver school for last year, April Lane, [12:01] if you, yes, so we put, this is the seal that they've earned. [12:06] They, you should probably see that on their websites. [12:08] I think I've already seen it on your email signatures. [12:12] But it's definitely a badge of honor. [12:14] So, April Lane, that is for you and your honor has to sell for it. [12:18] I can't be a Derek, but I don't know how to travel, but I can just focus on that. [12:25] Thank you. [12:26] Thank you. [12:27] Thank you. [12:31] And this is a big exciting step. [12:34] It took them a little time to get on this. [12:38] So, extra shout out to Board number pretty free of city high school. [12:43] Being ready for [12:48] the set on their honor. [12:58] Okay, they're too generous. [12:59] I can assure you. [13:03] I think you can be more... [13:05] I can't [13:08] help spreading that. [13:10] I'm pretty close with the radicals. [13:13] History is [13:24] full. [13:24] Probably one of the pioneers. [13:27] I say principal, not entirely really took this idea and ran with it. [13:31] Implemented a lot of training and forms practices to go with that. [13:35] They have very in-depth intervention meetings too. [13:41] Yeah, yeah, I've never seen it. [13:43] And [13:48] our super stars and a district, [13:53] hurting the gold medal implementation award is here at Wynah. [14:13] Thank you. [14:16] Thank you. [14:21] I hope you see the efforts that are being put in. [14:24] And I hope that you see that it's really become part of their school culture and the [14:28] what they embrace and how excited kids get. [14:31] When I hear things like River Valley's doing teachers are eating lunch on their facilities [14:36] on the grass and the green to build relationships. That's what this is about. It's about building [14:41] rapport, about building relationships, about making kids feel valued and respecting them, [14:46] or they're at, and growing from there. So that's awesome. Thank you. Thank you. [14:56] And Dina, look at this here to accept these. [15:01] I talked to Mr. Shaker today and he wasn't able to get anyone from his team here. [15:08] Now, as mentioned, two of his team members have moved on. One to the district office and one to principal. [15:14] So they were clearly doing outstanding jobs in that team last year. [15:18] But yeah, congratulations also to Graham. [15:20] Okay, [15:26] we're already coming, there are not. [15:31] We'll be on the consent to turn out. [15:33] Are there any questions? [15:37] I'm going to go through the consent agenda. [15:40] Hi, second. [15:41] On a motion line, it's pretty. [15:44] In the second line, in this course, to approve the consent agenda. [15:53] On the other side, something like that. [16:04] Okay, and then 12A. I think that we approve as discussing close session, 12A, that's [16:11] second to the motion. [16:12] On most of my member, Cree, and a second line member, Cree, all of the members. [16:17] I am opposed. [16:19] We're talking to you. [16:21] Excuse me. [16:21] Excuse me. [16:24] So I see since you're finding a visual [16:26] explaining a 12B and then then we'll need to open [16:29] up for a public view. [16:30] Do you see if there's any comments? [16:33] So there's a single word for the issue in [16:35] a public hearing. [16:36] For the choirs that the people in [16:37] the text book and instruction materials. [16:39] It says it's a program. [16:40] But as far as the issue [16:41] certifies that you can see the text book [16:43] for the student. [16:44] That's the patient's text book [16:45] and our instructional materials, and all the course of the various [16:48] that are aligned with the advent of content standards [16:50] and consistent with the size of the content [16:53] of the curriculum framework. [16:55] I have one little question. [16:57] Pissed when I was reading this, I was like, [16:58] well, this is the will you exactly cover this? [17:00] Is this something about a beyond will you talk? [17:02] This is this is the will you talk? [17:03] It's all part of this. [17:05] It just is the same way I'm saying. [17:06] I was like, [17:09] okay. [17:10] I will go ahead and open up for public hearing. [17:14] Any comments? [17:23] Okay, I'll move it with the motion by number pretty and second by number lamb all the time. [17:32] Okay, yes. [17:39] So if you will recall, that can 2021. [17:42] This is a more candid, I want to say I've got forward a plan as required. [17:45] under the S3 plan. That was a plan that allocated funds to address the learning loss as [17:54] a result of COVID. Well, we received S1 funds after two funds and now S3. But the plan was [18:05] I'm going to say it's obsolete because of the funding we use for S1 and 2. And so the plan was [18:10] advice, reflect current expenditures in terms of how we're using those ones. You will have [18:16] noticed in the plan they were continued funding for our shade stretchers, our furniture, our furniture, [18:25] our flexible furniture, as well as some of the salary increases that were provided to our staff in order [18:31] to retain and recruit qualified staff as well as being able to maintain the extended hours that we [18:40] of our staff as part of our COVID relief plan safety plan and so the plan was updated to [18:49] reflect true expenditures and I'm bringing it back for final of fruitful question. [18:57] What did there were two things in here that really I thought were really things that [19:05] in the only years get pushed aside. One is field trips, pursuers and the other is the mental health issues. [19:13] And I see that they're both still in there, is that correct? [19:17] So that would be L-CAP. [19:19] Okay, S-R-3 is as I have that in there, but it will continue to be a focus as you get moving forward. [19:27] Okay, all right, thank you. [19:28] I want to talk about people. [19:32] I want to speak with people. [19:38] I'm here at the r-book. [19:41] On that motion. [19:42] By the property and the second one with the Coltier. [19:44] Clare. [19:45] People. [19:47] From Emerson Prince. [19:49] Coltier. [19:51] You are not super certain now that he is. [19:54] In June of this past year of 2003, the government were approved of [19:59] the CUP. [20:00] I'm going to play for I'm going to put on a bill for the Federal Intelligence Department. [20:04] After a fully view by Senator County, it was conditionally approved. [20:09] And they offer revisions for extortion on and they're going to back today to the board. [20:14] So we can get approval on the revised 2020-2020. [20:22] Any questions? [20:32] No. [20:33] I'm going to take it out. [20:35] Everyone, I'm going to, please, go ahead and sign a name. [20:37] I know you were invited and could you just get a message? [20:40] I did. [20:43] I'm loved right away. [20:45] I'm happy. [20:46] I'm happy with the way of group. [20:47] Thanks, that can't be. [20:48] Okay, if I'm motion by number free in a second, remember, see, I'll see you all [20:52] out over there. [20:53] I'm over. [20:54] Any moment, I'm motion free. [20:58] Um, board reports and information. [21:00] Video reports. [21:02] Or, whoa, whoa, good. [21:05] I'm here. [21:07] Oh, I'm so happy with that. [21:12] I don't believe there's any cities, [21:16] is it something we want to talk about, are traders? [21:22] For example, there's under forward comment, sorry, sorry. [21:26] I don't know, I guess this is the question. [21:29] I'll jump to this one. [21:30] I attended the Twin Rivers board meeting. [21:37] They talked a lot about the burden in the middle of developing committees around not formally like it. [21:45] They're working with it, but they do have a presentation now for both classified and significant among the statement. [21:53] It's very healthy discussion that they were having comparisons for the negotiations and what not. [21:59] I mean, my apologies, you can hit the brain of people work back the next morning and [22:05] I can go over more and do you tell what we covered by those in a nice productive conversation? [22:14] We did. [22:15] I talked about last morning because our meetings are on the first day of the day. [22:22] And then you were in a few occasions. [22:28] Okay. [22:28] to come collect some little cleaters like in the middle of the book. [22:38] What does that say out [22:42] there in Zinland? [22:44] I'm going to say this to all of them and I'm going to present it as if I'm going to hear [22:47] a few of us say, you know what? [22:49] And I'll start off with today was our first of the year of Human Orientations. [22:55] We've got a little late start because Mr. Pooh has been out. [22:58] But so we agreed to kind of push now a little bit. [23:01] So we did that today. [23:03] It's very successful and it's nice to see those new employees at this point that have been working a little bit. [23:10] Did you hear from them and meet them and do that orientation and let them know the benefits of joining CSEA? [23:18] We've had two meetings now after today that Dr. Daniel, we've committed to some things up. [23:26] It's a good thing that I appreciate that. Thank you so much. [23:29] We're getting ready to start our request classes that the deadline closes on Friday and then from there, the team of district and CSEA members will need to review those requests and decide if anyone is truly working out of their classification or have duties from other classifications on put out to their fight thus repossing them into a different position. [23:59] It's a tedious process but necessary. [24:03] I want to give a shout-out to a couple of my members, Miguel Corona, who works in IT [24:09] and Vince Griffin, who is one of our maintenance workers. [24:14] They both pulled up volunteer farms at our CSE conference issue. [24:19] And Miguel has been re-appointed as a state as the area where area A, which is from [24:26] all the way to the Oregon Order, our communications representative for Area A on the CSEA site. [24:34] And also, Vince and I, first went to conference together, oh my gosh, maybe 2012. [24:41] And ever since then, he wanted to be what we call a buttercup. [24:45] A buttercup, so they're called buttercups because they were at least I see a little buttercup shots. [24:49] And that's our conference committee. And they're out there making sure all the delegates are doing [24:53] They're supposed to be doing it as a hard job because you are in your feet for seven days straight [24:59] in class. [25:00] But Vince always wanted to do this thing that in his volunteer form and he's been appointed to that position at this state level for area. And we do appreciate that. [25:09] It's always nice seeing our members who get that little extra elevation to learn a little bit more about CSE and a different level. [25:21] Let's see. [25:22] The district has committed to come back to the table to talk about our region policy. We're just waiting for some dates and let's talk about what we'll take care of that. [25:30] And that's been not least, and this is definitely not least in the mud. [25:34] Shouldn't we have the top top of my list? [25:36] Because it's so important. [25:37] Is it yesterday? [25:38] It was, you know, food service employee day. [25:41] And we have so many very dedicated food service workers out there. [25:45] Making sure that those kiddos are fed for breakfast, lunch, [25:48] and even a supper if they're in our after school programs. [25:52] So we do appreciate the hard work that comes out of that source. [25:55] Thank you. [26:01] Good evening, Board members. [26:02] staff and the U.S. and anybody out there. [26:06] I'm dealing with interest in university teachers, association, YCTA, NYCSCA, it was part [26:12] of the new higher orientation today. [26:14] It was our first time to participate in the during the school year due higher orientation. [26:21] It really wasn't great opportunity to introduce employees to you to signify it in a slightly [26:27] different way. [26:27] Mr. Coke was a person who was performing in Britain, but he also sold the vision of the [26:34] city of the United States and finally really welcomed New York Boys, so we appreciate Mr. [26:39] Coke's opening and YCTA used every time to tell new higher things that we often do new [26:47] pairs, but like to have known about, like tell me about we use them, like what's personally, [26:53] What's personal specifically? What's it honestly? We were having a one-figure things like that out. [26:58] We also helped to figure out stories and their defined benefit pension and the value of that fine benefit pension. [27:05] But also the value of that sickly as it also counts for is their retirement. [27:10] Also helped them learn a really important thing for every school employee, you know. [27:15] We do not have state disability insurance. So if you were able to do it on the coverage, [27:20] is because the disability insurance is separately. [27:24] So we made sure to tell us about their option [27:26] to purchase disability insurance from the standard. [27:29] We told them about things about their paycheck [27:31] and paycheck protection. [27:33] We helped them navigate the world. [27:36] My pay in 11 paycheck, do you have protection [27:39] for that 12 paycheck in July? [27:42] So all of them is a great day to interface [27:44] with our employees, two more scheduled [27:47] plant for the rest of the year, and we look forward to this being an ongoing process that [27:53] well does interface with new employees. [27:58] I also look forward to working with the district [28:02] as we explore new district protocols with regards to technology and purchasing. We did an extensive [28:11] ask and listening of our members with regards to the new model of centralized tech and I guess [28:18] it's centralized purchasing. I don't know exactly but there's been change in the first [28:22] purchasing process. Moving in to five areas where the district can improve in these modifications [28:29] that we hope to engage in that dialogue. To help improve the practices so that we ensure efficient [28:34] technology needs our met at our school sites. I'll tell you one of the things our teachers [28:41] report is they really miss having their tech at their site. Who do the issues of that site [28:47] and they could get help quickly? I could tell you that when your lesson plan depends on your [28:53] tech working, you want to work in right now and last year I know I could get that to happen in 15 minutes [28:59] My site, and with regards to purchasing, we just hope to be able to screen one process so that schools don't [29:06] run out of paper for two weeks. So there's some things we call me to work on and be lifelong [29:12] learners where you are reflective and are practices. It is been my goal this year to visit every school [29:19] site in the district. And I've been so forth at first October. I want to highlight one site in [29:29] help you a lot. Her window was a lovely new look. I don't know how I like for you in the school [29:35] that I think has changed a lot of weeks to over the last 20 years or so, making a moment [29:41] of sport. Well actually it has changed. I take that back. That's like more convincing that you are [29:47] walking in. That has to change that didn't improve the work of things. I told him it didn't [29:51] make the sport. I will say that it looks like I'm doing it because it's wonderful. [29:57] It took my [30:00] That's why I said, I'm going to hurt you now now. I'm being careful. [30:05] But they did tell me that I walked into the RFU room and I was like, oh, this was just like my kids did, but we have a water filling station until my teachers have really excited about that. [30:15] I know that it is on the work of this board and the facilities planning to really look at all of our schools. [30:24] I think that they gave us one of our schools, they could certainly use that. [30:28] of great football and all regardless of the facilities. [30:32] A. A. A. A. Lincoln School has a great staff, [30:35] great administrative team, and it's a happy place. [30:38] The bottom line, learning's happening, and it's a happy place. [30:41] That's really what we want in all of our schools. [30:44] So Lincoln is not alone in that regard. [30:48] So it's a learning that's happening in a class of this most important. [30:52] Couple of upcoming events for us, and next, [30:56] Right, is our professional development day, so it is that one of those three days set aside in our contract, or [31:04] special learning. So we look forward to that day, and in the interest of our professional learning team, Williams, [31:11] the special education teacher, and very elementary school, apply for and was awarded a scholarship to attend the CCA special education conference. [31:24] So we are happy that she, a valors ever available herself of that scholarship. [31:31] We also have a YCT of argument queue coming up at Calshay Park, October 12th, [31:39] and in our interest to help in our members to understand all of the parameters, [31:44] one of the things we're bringing is a workshop for understanding retirement options, [31:49] four of three beats and wrong iris. So we help them navigate that. Yes, that's a little thing young people aren't thinking about this. [31:56] You mean I should be saying my retirement. So we're going to have to think about those things as well. [32:02] It's been a great year starting to YCC. It's been a great year starting to be a great year starting to be a city in the United States. [32:06] And I think you were in time. [32:08] Thank you. One more. [32:16] Yes, just remind you that on October 2nd, we will remain in 5.8 to the status of [32:24] over and over in the future planning, but then we were, and then we were trying to get [32:30] a date security for Bob's team to come back as well. [32:34] I sent out the three different statements and then asked for some feedback that I get feedback [32:40] in the committee. [32:40] So if you could let me know what I suggested for work, let me know, and then on October 10th, [32:46] which will be the first 48 in October in the morning for the date. [32:50] And this was Shelley Bautnis Jazz in terms of celebrating our teachers, [32:55] our certificates to have been moved from probationary to promenade. [32:59] So, this is the test. [33:02] So, we're going to listen to this, take a nap, and instituted it, and others were sent. [33:08] So, I appreciate her getting on board, and taking that, and so it'll be a fun collaboration. [33:19] So I'm super interested in the next one, the October 10th of a session that's seven years. [33:27] I'm going to go to the church. [33:31] I'm going to go to the church. [33:34] We'll see you in the next video. [33:36] We'll see you in the next video.
