[20:56] Robert Sanders
[21:04] good evening madam president
[21:06] um I think this is truly a good idea
[21:08] other cities have done it in the
[21:12] Tri-City area
[21:13] I believe it's a good idea I know plenty
[21:15] of contractors they travel throughout
[21:18] the cities and they do their zoning and
[21:22] they just micro a few throws so I
[21:24] it's a good idea it'll help the city out
[21:26] and that's basically what I had to say
[21:28] thank you and have a good day
[21:35] I have no one else time to speak so I
[21:37] declare the public comment on the

[21:51] related to General City business
[21:55] I have five people who are signed up to
[21:57] speak
[21:59] first person is Ed Levin Jr
[22:06] good evening Mr Mayor chairwoman
[22:08] Porterfield and City Council Members I
[22:10] filed an Ethics complaint against the
[22:12] three judges mayor and city council
[22:14] members on May 31st it will be heard
[22:16] tomorrow
[22:17] I believe the mayor has everything to do
[22:19] about my complaint not being published
[22:21] the mayor knows once my complaint is in
[22:24] print there must be something done about
[22:25] these three blatantly corrupt judges and
[22:27] how small claims court judges do not
[22:29] follow the rules of court or laws of the
[22:31] Constitution
[22:33] whenever they so wish
[22:35] again the mayor is responsible for the
[22:37] enforcement of the law in Schenectady
[22:38] unless it is his Hatchet Man Carl
[22:40] falatico breaking the law
[22:43] listening to and acting on legitimate
[22:45] complaints by tax paying residents of
[22:46] Schenectady is also one of the mayor's
[22:48] duties he refused to meet with me but
[22:51] heard my complaint at one of these
[22:52] meetings as did all of you
[22:55] the mayor Phil Falls far short of his
[22:58] oath of office to protect and honor the
[23:00] constitution of New York and the United
[23:01] States
[23:03] the mayor in fact breaks his oath of
[23:05] office by not acting on my complaint
[23:07] being being deprived of my
[23:09] constitutional rights of due process and
[23:11] a fair hearing
[23:12] the mayor
[23:13] only concern is for covering up for the
[23:16] laws broken by Frost balotico and
[23:18] Hoffman
[23:19] Mr Mayor you are the most corrupt mayor
[23:21] the city has ever seen
[23:23] you cannot be counted on to discipline
[23:25] corrupt judges in City Hall and you do
[23:27] everything in your power to keep me out
[23:29] of the news so the public is not aware
[23:31] of these three corrupt judges and her
[23:34] illegal rulings and judgments
[23:36] I will be turning your name in for
[23:37] obstruction of justice to the Department
[23:39] of Justice and the FBI
[23:41] nothing to worry about I'm sure they
[23:43] will do nothing the same they have done
[23:45] for me
[23:46] I will expose you in these three corrupt
[23:48] judges
[23:49] I will not be leaving without someone
[23:50] being held accountable
[23:52] you are damn sure going to have to deal
[23:54] with me
[23:55] see you in the next meeting
[23:58] thank you
[23:59] Mark and March LaCroix
[24:08] good evening Council uh I last spoke
[24:11] here on the 12th and um
[24:13] uh I I believe that I put everything
[24:15] before everybody what was going on with
[24:17] the uh housing issue with the
[24:19] foreclosure on the property and I
[24:21] believe today that you are acting as
[24:23] honorary judges you're not in the
[24:25] legislative but you're you're honorary
[24:27] judges because you
[24:29] allow things to go on in the city that
[24:31] need to be done
[24:32] and I asked that on behalf of myself my
[24:35] mother my family and our future that uh justice is done I've gone
[24:40] through the documents that were given to
[24:41] me by corporate Council Mr Golden and I
[24:47] also had a meeting with him uh last uh
[24:49] two weeks ago on a Tuesday uh in the
[24:52] morning and he produced a document that
[24:53] was assigned out for David stating that
[24:56] a nuisance officer had clearly posted
[24:58] documentation on our property door of
[25:01] said of uh about the Foreclosure
[25:03] proceedings
[25:05] um
[25:05] when I confronted him about having video
[25:07] footage to promote otherwise it was
[25:10] stated by Council it doesn't matter if I
[25:12] have footage he doesn't have to post at
[25:14] the property this goes against what is
[25:16] written in the law New York State real
[25:18] property law uh one one two five
[25:20] uh says that the final step is to post
[25:23] on the property
[25:24] um I also discovered that said affidavit
[25:27] was not in the packet of legal documents
[25:29] that he had given me stating that the that it was posted on the property
[25:35] it said everything else but not just not
[25:37] that and um
[25:39] I believe that that's unjust because if
[25:42] you are going to present to a judge uh
[25:45] Mark Powers had Donald judge Mark powers
[25:47] that you should have all documentation
[25:49] there not just have a side documentation
[25:51] that you present to me after I told you
[25:53] at the city council meeting that I have
[25:55] footage
[25:56] um I also have
[25:58] a police report and also uh I also have
[26:01] documentation from my cameras and my
[26:03] doorbell camera uh the the dirtboard
[26:06] camera in the last 60 days so that
[26:07] footage is long gone from last November
[26:09] and my uh I have a police report that's
[26:13] that my house had been broken into and
[26:15] they stole the security camera DVR box
[26:18] along with my television a few other
[26:19] property I was in there and I found out
[26:22] it was children who had done it but the
[26:23] police didn't do anything beyond that
[26:25] but
[26:26] I believe in this city I've been here 12
[26:28] years and I see Billboards all the place
[26:31] of the new Schenectady now I'm not
[26:33] asking for any favors I'm asking for
[26:35] support and support in going through the
[26:38] law and seeing that helping somebody who
[26:41] is actual resident who's actually a
[26:43] taxpayer we went and got a huge lump sum
[26:45] to pay off taxes on properties that we other have as well as well as
[26:49] Wendell and we took it all and gave it
[26:52] in and paid showing that we are willing
[26:55] to pay even that on this day as spoke to
[26:57] Mr Golden we are willing to pay the
[26:59] taxes owed as long as it's closing
[27:01] passage was supposed to be on this
[27:02] Friday but I know that short time now
[27:05] within two weeks have passed but I just
[27:08] want to know that I can count on the
[27:10] city to make a new a news connectivity
[27:12] to have new precedent that can help
[27:15] people who are actually trying who are
[27:16] forgiving their best effort their best
[27:19] foot forward trying to build this city
[27:21] up the way that it needs to be there is
[27:23] new Schenectady I see it I said we used
[27:25] to use filament light bulbs now we are
[27:27] wearing LEDs so let's do new laws new
[27:31] things that support the people support
[27:33] residents who are actually trying to do
[27:35] something and if it has to go through uh
[27:38] Judiciary uh or legislative ways let's
[27:41] do it he has to go through more talks
[27:43] please but I am asking for support and
[27:45] Redeeming the property so we can satisfy
[27:48] the city satisfy ourselves and continue
[27:50] to be part a great part of this city
[27:52] which is a great City and uh it's
[27:54] connected thank you thank you
[27:57] Wayne Harper
[28:03] well I've got to go in a direction
[28:05] tonight that's not going to be very
[28:07] popular but who else is going to do it
[28:11] um
[28:12] you know Gloria Christian by the way
[28:15] Gary in her article is I think it's
[28:17] Saturday's paper
[28:19] yeah Saturday Porterfield will manage
[28:21] City better well that's yet to be seen
[28:25] but I know as a body and as a whole we
[28:28] could all do better and we need to start
[28:30] cracking down on this code enforcement
[28:32] stuff people coming into residential
[28:36] neighborhoods wanting to run their
[28:37] business with dump trailers full of
[28:39] debris parking people turning their
[28:41] front Lawns into parking lots that's
[28:44] what breaks down neighborhoods read her
[28:46] article she was right on she touched on
[28:48] other things
[28:49] now
[28:51] you know I'd love to give that I love
[28:54] Mark Mahoney he won't call he doesn't
[28:56] return my calls and I don't blame him
[28:58] I'm a conservative they're all liberal
[29:00] Democrats
[29:01] uh John D Augustine I've left out I did
[29:04] talk to John once miles Reid if you've
[29:06] never met him he's a who you know that guy is a beaut Kelly Murray Paula
[29:12] opal I remember her because I had an
[29:14] opal GT when I was a young guy and and
[29:17] Michelle Wright I don't remember if I
[29:19] know Michelle or talked to her
[29:21] but what I want to address
[29:24] tonight
[29:26] is Andrew Waite
[29:28] Andrew Wade is the new darling of The
[29:31] Gazette he's had the front page probably
[29:33] 90 some percent of the time since he
[29:36] came back to Schenectady
[29:38] and he wrote the last front page that I
[29:40] read that he wrote he happily announced
[29:43] how his father came out at 58 years old
[29:48] and I thought how is that a front page
[29:50] story why did we need to know all that
[29:53] personal stuff
[29:55] and uh he said almost reading between
[29:58] the lines almost gleefully and happily
[30:01] that his father came out
[30:03] uh so
[30:05] I want to challenge Andrew to write
[30:08] another article follow-up article and
[30:11] tell the people in graphic terms what
[30:15] the lgbtq community engages in let these
[30:19] dopes wake up they think it's just two
[30:21] people of the same sex I think holding
[30:23] hands and stealing an innocent kiss
[30:25] it's a filthy disgusting lifestyle and I
[30:28] don't like the fact that it's being
[30:30] shoved down my throat and they even tell
[30:33] us now we have to celebrate it I'm never
[30:35] going to celebrate it I know the Lord
[30:37] and I didn't know the Lord until 82. but
[30:39] once you know the Lord you know what
[30:41] you're supposed to be doing and no one's
[30:44] going to be perfect but you try to go in
[30:46] a positive direction
[30:48] so that's what I'd like to see Andrew do
[30:51] let's let's get graphic let's let's
[30:53] educate the people and one last thing
[30:55] for you Catholics that'll be going to
[30:57] church on Sunday ask that priest if you
[31:00] can even talk to him after the service
[31:03] if he knows what Sodom and Gomorrah but
[31:06] the story of Sodom and gomorph he knows
[31:08] about it and then ask him to explain it
[31:10] to you thank you am I three minutes up
[31:12] they are up okay thank you Mary thank
[31:14] you
[31:18] okay
[31:20] uh Robert Sanders
[31:28] good evening Mr Mayor
[31:31] I think even council president
[31:32] Moorefield members of the council
[31:34] for many of you who know me and have
[31:36] known me for a long time I've said one
[31:39] thing I said 15 years ago I'm going to
[31:41] say it today you cannot legislate
[31:43] morality okay and you know we've tried
[31:47] doing it from the top on down to City
[31:49] Hall you cannot do it people are who
[31:52] they are and that will never change okay
[31:55] you can come here you can make laws you
[31:57] can put you know signs out on Street you
[32:00] could do whatever you can do people are
[32:01] going to do what they're going to do and
[32:04] that's basically it I personally don't
[32:06] like things shoved down my throat I
[32:08] don't like it you know I tell my
[32:09] children certain things I grow my church
[32:12] holding up a certain way and that's how
[32:13] that goes and that's how it is but I
[32:18] came to speak about you know certain things
[32:22] um
[32:26] I forgot my glasses but uh one thing I
[32:29] wanted to talk about is
[32:30] right here in the city you know I I left
[32:33] my house about six years ago
[32:35] I ran right over by uh right off
[32:37] McDonald Avenue my rent's gone up 22
[32:40] percent the last two years now I know
[32:43] here when you deal with csca
[32:45] and you deal with your employees you
[32:46] don't give them a 22 increase
[32:49] you know so I want to know how is the
[32:53] average person that's on social security
[32:55] or collecting SSDI or SSI I'm going to
[32:59] pay this type of increase because it's
[33:01] just totally impossible I said this to
[33:04] County and now I'm going to say it to
[33:05] you as legislators
[33:07] this is just totally you had all these
[33:10] landlords come up to you and beg they
[33:12] just cried and whined to you and tell
[33:14] you I can't stand it when my kids do it
[33:16] and I really can't stand landlords
[33:18] anymore you know they whine to you and wind you and during
[33:21] covert oh they weren't getting the rent
[33:23] now all they're doing is charging and charging you I just oh you
[33:28] got to pay 100 100 extra dollar
[33:30] standards last year 75 dollars more
[33:33] Sanders how when is it going to end it's
[33:36] either that or I got to move out of the
[33:37] state
[33:38] okay that's just one thing and then
[33:41] another thing just men in general okay
[33:45] you know just men and I've said this I
[33:48] tried to get around it a little bit
[33:50] we're actually being treated like a
[33:52] second class citizen okay I mean we work
[33:55] hard
[33:57] very hard we don't have the actually the
[34:00] same rights as women anymore
[34:02] okay I mean you know we're treated
[34:05] differently women
[34:08] there's 70 percent of all colleges are
[34:10] filled with women

[34:14] okay I could go on and on and give you
[34:16] statistics okay I spoke to numbers of
[34:19] you about this and you know like you
[34:22] know this was pride month right smack in
[34:25] the middle of Father's Day you know
[34:27] everything was right smack in the middle
[34:30] of Father's day one day
[34:31] most uncelebrated holiday of the year
[34:35] okay and I could go on and I could go on
[34:39] I'm not going to rant about it because
[34:41] I'm sure you've heard about this but if
[34:43] it was Mother's Day so help me God you'd
[34:45] have a lying mother standing up here of
[34:47] what they did for the city and how much
[34:49] they've done for but how many fathers
[34:51] have done what how many men and city
[34:55] workers have taken care of your city
[34:57] garbage collectors have done things for
[35:00] your city you know are they even noticed
[35:03] no they're not your time has expired I I
[35:06] know it's it's not what you want to hear

[35:54] I did just speak to Andrew he told me
[35:57] gave me some guidance and told me that I
[35:58] could email him to get the process going
[36:01] but it's been about 60 days I'm having
[36:04] people
[36:05] wanting to come in and shop and I really
[36:07] it's really detrimental to my business
[36:08] to get that part of my business open so
[36:12] I just was looking for some guidance on
[36:13] what the next step for me to do
[36:15] to have that processed
