[22:02] Heat. Heat.
[23:04] I can't see.
[23:38] I'd like to call the Skenct City Council
[23:40] Committee meeting to order for Monday,
[23:42] February 2nd, 2026.
[23:45] And I'll take the roll call.
[23:48] Mr. Chair is absent. Mr. Toro, present.
[23:53] Mr. Anger
[23:54] >> present.
[23:54] >> Mr. Muer
[23:55] >> present.
[23:56] >> Miss Patrick is absent. Miss Wiggins
[23:58] >> present.
[23:59] >> Mr. Williams
[24:00] >> present.
[24:01] >> Okay. Since there is no city council
[24:03] president, we still cannot move any
[24:04] items forward. Um I call for a motion to
[24:07] adjurnn. So move
[24:09] >> second.
[24:11] Meeting adjourned. Thank you everyone.
[24:14] >> I'm doing call for it now.
[24:19] » Oh, you can ask them. Yes.
[24:21] >> Yeah. So, while everyone's still here,
[24:25] » right? So, while everyone's still here,
[24:27] there was a conversation where we'd like
[24:29] to continue with a special meeting on
[24:31] Thursday to have the vote, so it be a
[24:33] special organizational meeting. Uh 5:30.
[24:35] I've already had a conversation with
[24:36] Dorian. Um I don't know if that time
[24:38] will line with her schedule, but wanted
[24:40] to see if we can at least get somewhat
[24:42] of a consensus.
[24:45] » That works for me. I don't know anybody
[24:47] else.
[24:48] >> Thank you.
[24:49] Those
[24:56] are the Mr. Williams. Are those the
[24:58] three items on the agenda? Correct. The
[25:00] city council president, city clerk, and
[25:01] the official newspaper. Yes.
[25:06] >> Yes. I'm going to fight.
[25:08] >> Dorian, maybe.
[25:10] >> Gotcha. And I'll have a conversation
[25:12] with Justin as well. Right. So, I'd say
[25:14] based on the preliminary numbers, I
[25:16] think we're safe to continue. Um
[25:19] thereafter though, I think it's
[25:21] appropriate to have the next part of the
[25:22] conversation. Uh wanting to ensure that
[25:25] we were sending the proper message to
[25:27] the city because we've been in a delayed
[25:28] state for an extended period of time.
[25:30] There was a thought that we'd be able to
[25:32] have a special meeting, a second one
[25:35] Monday ahead of the council meeting. And
[25:37] that' be a conversation with um Mr.
[25:39] Mayor to see if we're able to align
[25:41] anyone to be present to provide new
[25:43] briefings. and sincerely I wouldn't
[25:44] imagine we'd have heavy discussions
[25:47] because that's not our normal process to
[25:48] have any agenda items read. Uh but
[25:52] sincerely wanted to ensure that we're
[25:54] being as considerate of the delay and
[25:56] having uh at least some actionable items
[25:59] addressed if that's appropriate for you
[26:01] may have a discussion to identify
[26:02] >> I assume we're going to have people uh
[26:05] available who we need.
[26:08] >> Perfect. So, I can reach out to you uh
[26:10] tomorrow, sir, to align some items and
[26:12] if everyone's in agreement with that,
[26:15] >> see if your schedules would allow for a
[26:17] 5:30 meeting on Monday.
[26:20] » So, what would this be a special
[26:23] committee meeting and then followed with
[26:26] the regular schedule
[26:29] >> council meeting? Correct. At 7 p.m.
[26:31] >> Okay.
[26:32] And then with the alignment of agenda
[26:35] items, the hope is just have a meeting
[26:37] for no longer than an hour to ensure
[26:39] that the proper legislation was drafted
[26:41] in time. I think that's more than
[26:43] appropriate.
[26:45] Um, so thank you again for your uh
[26:47] flexibility. Um, Justin uh having a
[26:50] special meeting Thursday and then
[26:53] special meeting at 5:30 on Monday. Thank
[26:56] you.
[27:09] submit. Just want to make sure we're
[27:10] good properly.
[27:20] [music]
[27:30] Hey, hey.
