[9:11] This is the call to order for the town of Batesburg Leville Regular Planning
[9:15] Commission. The board is comprised of town residents, volunteers appointed by
[9:20] town council through current vote. First is our call to order and then our

[9:32] » Jennifer Edwards. Leona Williams. >> Rachel Taylor
[9:37] » here. >> Riley Adams

[9:42] » here. [Music]
[9:48] All right. Old business update on road agreement with Woodlon subdivision.
[9:55] » Uh just wanted to give you a quick update. Uh last month, I believe you all
[10:00] got to meet Brady Sanford. He he gave you some information regarding uh his
[10:05] request or proposal to upgrade the roads in the Woodlon subdivision proposal. Uh
[10:12] council discussed that in executive session. Uh there's some back and forth
[10:16] that's going on. So, uh the the uh attorney has prepared that document. It
[10:22] would have to get council approval and then come back to the planning
[10:25] commission for y'all to sign off. So, uh, that goes back to y'all's, uh,
[10:29] stipulations that were placed on that was to have the roads approved to the
[10:34] county specs to be transferred and have that agreement between the town and the
[10:38] developer. So, uh, that's where it is. Uh, we had that executive session last
[10:44] week. It all runs together and then we'll have it on the agenda for October
[10:47] as well. >> So, hopefully we'll have something for
[10:49] you next month. >> All right.
[10:52] New business. Our first uh first of the new business a
[10:57] is a request from Francis Gant Miller to annex property at 408 Town Pond that is
[11:04] TMS 0071000-06-23
[11:10] and it's consisting of 2 acres. The petition requests that the property have
[11:14] a zoning of R1 which is single family residential.
[11:19] Any recommendations?
[11:23] Any discussion?
[11:28] » Make a motion to approve. >> I second.
[11:32] » Let's call a vote. >> District two votes yes.
[11:38] » Yes. >> Six votes yes.
[11:43] » Eight votes yes >> and one votes yes.
[11:49] B, which um we will not be taking up item B under new business. Um there are
[11:58] a few more things that were needed that are missing,
[12:01] so we will not consider it at this time. It'll just be brought back up in the
[12:08] future.
[12:12] C is a request from Christopher Yika. Did I say that right?
[12:17] » Yes. Thank you. Padet Burgess to reszone four parcels of property located at 449,
[12:24] 450, 452 Duncan Street and Saluda County. It is TMS number 183138
[12:33] [Music] from R1 to single family residential to
[12:39] R1A single family and manufactured housing residential.
[12:44] Um and that includes Saluda County TMS 1831020183-1020193104
[12:57] 02 and 183-11-3-8.
[13:05] Do we have any recommendations? Did you read the second one as far as
[13:11] being included? Didn't you say there were four parcels? Now there are only
[13:14] three. >> Yes.
[13:16] » Yes. >> That's right. So that's not included on
[13:21] this.
[13:25] » All right. Thank you. Do we have any any
[13:29] discussion? >> You want to
[13:35] do you want to ask any questions? >> Is there any questions?
[13:37] » No. I've had my questions asked. Riley, do you have any questions? No.
[13:42] Okay. M limit, do you have any questions?
[13:44] » No, not at this time. No. I make a motion that we
[13:50] uh go ahead and vote on accepting um the reszoning of this property at 452
[13:59] and including 459 and also TMS number 18 1103008
[14:08] which is the the bigger portion which is 5.96 acres.
[14:13] um and go ahead and give it the approval of the R1A
[14:20] designation. >> Do we have a second?
[14:22] » Second. >> All right,
[14:25] » let's call a vote. >> Just for clarity, not 459, but 450 450
[14:29] 452 and then the correct >> CMS number.
[14:32] » Correct. You want to say it one more time then?
[14:38] » Just want to make sure it's clear on there. So the the request is uh to
[14:42] reszone 450 Duncan Street uh 452 Duncan Street and then the Sluda County TMS
[14:47] number 18311 03008 >> but it would include 452 that's the
[14:54] making the request. >> Yes, 452 is making the request. So 452
[14:58] 450 and then that property that does not have an address is the TMS number.
[15:03] » Thank you. >> All right there second.
[15:06] » Definitely still a second. All right, call to the vote.
[15:10] » District two votes yes >> at large votes yes.
[15:14] » District six votes yes >> and district 8 votes yes and district
[15:18] one votes yes. All right, that concludes everything
[15:22] that's on our business. Um and so it's time for an adjournment.
[15:28] Do we have a vote to approve and adjurnn?
[15:31] » Yes, I make a motion to adjurnn. >> I second.
[15:35] » Okay, adjournment then. Any recommendation? Well, excuse me. I'm
[15:39] sorry. Anyone?
[15:43] Oh, never mind. I'll pass on that one. Okay, that's it then. We thank everybody
[15:50] that came in this evening. We appreciate that you're all here. We hope that y'all
[15:54] have a nice evening.
