[0:05] Good evening, everyone. It's Monday, June 15th, but 7 o'clock. Please rise for the pledge of allegiance.
[0:13] I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands. One nation under God.
[0:23] Individual with liberty and justice for all.
[0:29] Ms. Crook, please call the roll. Mr. Long. Mr. Isaacson. Mr. Jacobs. Here. Ms. Joycat. Here. Mr. Smith.
[0:37] here. Mr. here. All right next we'll move to citizens remarks. While the law does not require
[0:44] council to provide time for public comment historically invited the public to make comments
[0:48] and we appreciate their input. This is a time when residents and others can comment on matters
[0:54] that concern them. However we will not engage in debate and as president of council I reserve the
[0:59] right to end any public comment that is disruptive. If specific questions are asked we will have someone
[1:06] from the administration respond in a reasonable period of time.
[1:09] We at the podium you speak into the microphone that you clearly state your name and address
[1:15] and that you limit your comments to three minutes.
[1:22] Okay, no citizens or marks, so we will move on to reports, Mayor Burns, do you have a report
[1:27] for us tonight?
[1:28] I do thank you, Council President.
[1:30] I'd like to remind residents that the fourth annual Juneteenth Community Celebration
[1:36] is this Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Beechard High School football stadium.
[1:40] It is important to thank our community services department for their work in organizing this important event
[1:45] and to recognize our partners, the Beechard School District and the District's African-American
[1:51] Affinity Group. I look forward to seeing you all there. Also, I would like to acknowledge the
[1:58] response of our safety services and public works department following yesterday afternoon storms.
[2:03] Our dispatchers and fire and police departments handle dozens of calls following the storm and our public works crews clear to breathe from main roads and side streets.
[2:12] A great job all around.
[2:14] Thank you.
[2:15] Thank you.
[2:16] Thank you.
[2:18] Councilmember, not agenda items.
[2:21] This side.
[2:23] Okay, I was just going to take a moment and mention an upcoming opportunity for residents to connect with council.
[2:29] First, coffee with a council member event, thanks to Ms. Jacobs for organizing that.
[2:37] So she and I will be at nervous dog with special guest, Chief Cristino, on Sunday, June 28th, from 10 to 11, so hope to see you there.
[2:48] We will move on to department directors,
[2:54] Mr. Schroeder.
[2:56] The mayor did a great job for Juneteenth. Parking for that, you'll park at the high school, handicapped parking will be at the middle school.
[3:03] school. You can also park the community center, Fairmont School. We will have a shuttle
[3:06] from the Fairmont School property to the main entrance at the high school stadium.
[3:13] So if you have to park a little bit of ways, we'll have two shuttles picking you up and
[3:17] bringing you back and forth. So look forward to seeing you there. And for some reason, it
[3:21] is in climate weather. We'll be at the middle school. But so far, it's looking good. We're
[3:25] going to hope it stays that way. Tomorrow night is our first t night at the court. So we
[3:30] We have, it's from 6 to 8 June 16th, we'll have all the pick-a-ball court
[3:34] loser, we have a DJ, we have San volleyball going on, we have a Gaga court,
[3:38] yard games, some refreshments, snacks, it's good time for the teens to get out and
[3:43] do something and it was successful last year, so that's why we're doing it again
[3:47] this year. That's all I got. Thank you. Any other department
[3:50] directors? All right, thing, none will move on to the consent agenda. Mr. Smith,
[3:56] will you please read the consent agenda for us tonight?
[4:01] Yes.
[4:02] Consent agenda, I move approval of minutes, committee of the whole meeting held on May 11th, 2026, and regular city council meeting held on May 18th, 2026, ordinances.
[4:15] I move in ordinance, authorizing and directing the payment of certain claims, bills for professional and other services, and declaring this to be an urgent measure.
[4:25] motions. I move a motion authorizing the clerk of council to advertise for bids for the Richmond
[4:30] Road corridor traffic signal upgrade project per BCO 121.09 and ORC 7.16.
[4:41] Seconded. Introduced
[4:43] by Mr. Smith, seconded by me. Are there any questions or comments on the consent agenda?
[4:49] All right.
[4:51] Seeing none, Ms. Crook, please call the roll.
[4:53] On the suspension, Mr. Long.
[4:54] Yes, Mr. Isaacson.
[4:55] Yes.
[4:56] Mr. Jacobs.
[4:56] Yes, Ms. Joykett.
[4:57] Yes, Mr. Smith.
[4:58] Yes, Mr. Stern.
[4:59] Yes, on the adoption, Mr. Long.
[5:01] Yes, Mr. Isaacson.
[5:02] Yes, Mr. Jacobs.
[5:03] Yes, Ms. Joykett.
[5:05] Yes, Mr. Smith.
[5:06] Yes, Mr. Stern.
[5:07] Yes, all right.
[5:08] Next, we'll move to old business.
[5:10] Under ordinances, Mr. Jacobs, will you please
[5:12] remember one for us tonight?
[5:14] Yes, can you, I don't have a-
[5:16] Oh, yes.
[5:16] Yes.
[5:17] There you are.
[5:19] I move an ordinance rezoning 2547 Edgewood Drive property number 741-08-034-2555 Edgewood
[5:30] Drive property number 741-08-036 and 2561 Edgewood Drive property number 741-08-037 from
[5:40] from you one single family residential district
[5:42] to you five public and institutional district.
[5:46] Place on first reading and refer to planning
[5:48] and zoning commission April 20th, 2026.
[5:52] Referred back from planning and zoning commission
[5:54] with positive recommendation May 28th, 2026.
[5:58] Place on second reading and refer to public hearing.
[6:01] Second.
[6:02] Move by Ms. Jacobs, seconded by Mr. Smith.
[6:05] Mr. Senare Jen.
[6:06] Turn over to you.
[6:07] Yes, just quickly overview, just a reminder, this is, this rezoning, we had a concept development plan that requires no variances.
[6:16] This is a clean rezoning at this point that would meet all the requirements of our U5 district.
[6:22] You do have a positive recommendation, a unanimous recommendation from planning commission.
[6:28] This is a procedural matter, you need to send this to public hearing before you can act on it by our code.
[6:33] So you're just following standard procedure.
[6:37] Thank you. Are there any comments or questions from council?
[6:42] All right, thank you. No miss Cook. Please call the roll. I'm before I call the roll
[6:45] I do want to say public hearing will be held on July 13th during the regular city council meeting
[6:51] All right, so place this on second reading and refer it to a public hearing missed along. Yes, Mr. Isaacson. Yes
[6:59] Mr. Jacobs. Yes, Miss Shakeket. Yes, Mr. Smith. Yes, Mr. Yes
[7:04] Yes.
[7:06] All right.
[7:07] Under new business ordinances, Ms. Stern, will you please read number one for us tonight?
[7:11] Move ordinance 2026-25, an ordinance amending Beachwood codified ordinance section 1155.06 titled
[7:20] Food Trucks, and declaring this to be an urgent measure.
[7:25] Second.
[7:26] Introduced by Ms. Stern, seconded by Ms. Darot.
[7:29] Mr. Samaritan.
[7:30] Yes, Madam Chair.
[7:31] There, this is simply a matter of some clarification in the code, as you know, we permit food trucks in a number of the commercial and office districts, they require permits to do that, and the trucks must be inspected.
[7:45] We allow food trucks in residential areas for private parties, et cetera, where they're not actually selling to the public, they can't set up and do public sale, but they can function for a party.
[7:57] We do not require permits for those, however, what we're trying to clarify here is that they still need to get the inspections from our fire department to make sure that the food truck meets all of our standards.
[8:09] And that's what this is cleaning up.
[8:11] Thank you. Any questions from Council? Mr. Isaacson?
[8:16] So, how will we know that a food truck is operating in a residential neighborhood in order to inspect it?
[8:24] They are required to apply for permits to do so.
[8:28] The food truck has to be a permitted food truck.
[8:31] We don't charge the residents for a permit fee.
[8:35] So the food truck, sorry, so does this mean that if someone's having a party at their
[8:41] house, they would need to have the food truck apply for a permit?
[8:45] They would need to make sure the food truck has a permit from the city to function.
[8:50] Yes.
[8:50] We license essentially what we do is the fire department inspects and approves the food trucks, okay, and when they're in
[9:00] one of the commercial areas, they need to get a permit to operate for whatever days they're there.
[9:06] There's no permit to operate in a residential area, but they still have to have the inspection and approval so that we know that they're taking something that's safe into the residential neighborhood.
[9:15] That okay, that makes sense.
[9:16] I'm just trying to figure out how we're going to know, how we're going to inform the
[9:20] food truck operators that they need to apply for this permit, and then how we are going
[9:25] to redo that administratively to make them aware.
[9:29] Okay, and how we're going to monitor compliance.
[9:31] Correct.
[9:33] And we're typically aware when there are no neighborhoods, people make arrangements.
[9:40] And so we're normally aware.
[9:42] And that's what has come up.
[9:43] It's come up that, you know, the food truck vendor is like,
[9:46] hey, I don't need to get a permit,
[9:48] but he does need to get his approval.
[9:51] And so they're all aware of it.
[9:53] We have a list of licensed food trucks in the city.
[9:56] And so we work from that.
[9:58] Okay.
[9:59] And if I may, I just wanted to add that we do have that list
[10:02] of the food trucks that are currently licensed.
[10:06] And so residents can contact the building department
[10:08] to find out who those are as well to make it easier for them.
[10:11] Okay, I just want to be sure that we've got some way, if we're going to make this change, and clearly I think it's a good change,
[10:20] that it's not a rule that is more difficult to enforce.
[10:26] No, we have the ability to do it.
[10:29] This is really just clarifying that the food truck has to be safe and licensed by the city if it's going to work in a residential neighborhood.
[10:37] And that's obviously a safety matter for us.
[10:39] Okay any other questions yeah I just wanted to clarify so the bonus of
[10:45] responsibility is on the food truck vendor not on the resident that is correct
[10:49] thank you all right let's go please call the road great on the suspension
[10:56] Mr. Long yes Mr. Isaacson yes Mr. Jacob's yes Mr. Smith yes Mr.
[11:02] yes on the adoption Mr. Long yes Mr. Isaacson yes Mr. Jacob's yes
[11:06] Yes, Mr. Baker?
[11:07] Yes.
[11:08] Mr. Smith?
[11:08] Yes.
[11:09] Yes.
[11:10] All right.
[11:11] Under resolution.
[11:12] Mr. Isaacson, will you please read number one for us?
[11:15] Yes.
[11:15] I move a resolution authorizing the mayor to enter into a job creation incentive grant agreement with building block therapy LLC and declaring this to be an urgent measure.
[11:25] Second.
[11:26] Introduced by Mr. Isaacson, seconded by Mr. Long.
[11:31] Ms. Peterman.
[11:32] Yes, thank you.
[11:34] This legislation is in response to a request for a job creation tax credit for building block therapy in Center for Autism.
[11:40] They are growing and relocating the company here with a purchase building in the city of Beechwood at 236000 Commerce Park.
[11:49] The company will be creating 45 new jobs in a total payroll of 2,225,000 to the city over the next three years, bringing administrative and clinical positions.
[11:59] And this center of autism will also be supported by other organizations and care services that are amenities to the community within that commerce park area.
[12:08] The incentives tied to this are a 30% tax credit for a period of three years, contingent on the new employment and payroll.
[12:16] The legislation does require that the company meets 75% of that total payroll and
[12:20] clawback provisions apply within the agreement.
[12:23] My recommendation is to proceed with this legislation under Council's normal legislative process.
[12:28] both the owners of the Building Block Therapy Center are Oshar and Rahama, Jacobich,
[12:36] and both are here tonight to address or talk about any questions that you may have.
[12:42] Thank you. Are there any questions from Council?
[12:47] How long have you folks been in business since 2013?
[12:53] And you're expanding from where? Where are you located at this point?
[13:10] Very good.
[13:11] All right, Mr. Croke, please call the bill.
[13:14] All right, on this suspension.
[13:15] Mr. Long?
[13:16] Yes.
[13:17] Mr. I-6N?
[13:18] Yes.
[13:18] Mr. Jacobs?
[13:19] Yes.
[13:19] Mr. Schmitt?
[13:21] Yes.
[13:21] Mr. Schmitt?
[13:22] Yes.
[13:22] On the adoption.
[13:23] Mr. Long?
[13:23] Yes.
[13:24] Mr. I-6N?
[13:24] Yes.
[13:25] Mr. Jacobs?
[13:26] Yes.
[13:28] Mr. Schmitt?
[13:29] Yes.
[13:32] Mr. Long, will you please read item number 2026-59?
[13:37] Yes.
[13:37] I move a resolution adopting the 2026 alternative tax
[13:41] budget of the city of Beechwood for fiscal year 2027 in declaring this to be an urgent measure.
[13:47] Second.
[13:48] Introduced by Mr. Wrong, seconded by Mr. Smith.
[13:51] Mr. Heiser.
[13:52] Thank you, Council President.
[13:54] This tax budget is the start of the 27 budget cycle.
[13:58] The basic purpose of the tax budget is to indicate to the county how many mills we are looking to collect for 27 based on 26 property values.
[14:10] The county will then send us a resolution that's called the certificate of estimated resources in the fall, and then we will do a follow-up accepting those rates from the county and then move forward.
[14:23] For texture 26 collected in 27, City of Beachwood is going back to levying four mills.
[14:30] Within the tax budget we'll collect 1.6 mills of inside levy, inside mortgage and 2.4 mills of charter millage.
[14:38] And as a reminder, the city could collect by charter up to 9.2 mils.
[14:44] We're going to have .9 mils go to pay debt service costs, 1.5 mils of charter
[14:51] millage to the police pension fund, and then 1.6 of inside mils will go to the general fund.
[15:00] And out of that money, they do subtract out the county board of health fees. Thank you. And Mr.
[15:08] Heiser, this is something that we do annually, correct? Every single year as council is very
[15:14] well aware. For the last three years, we've only levied 1.6 mils. And by re-leaving the 4 mils,
[15:23] based on my current calculations, based on current numbers, it will take us about 12 years
[15:27] to get the money back that we gave forego over the last three years.
[15:32] Thank you.
[15:33] Any questions or comments from Council?
[15:36] Ms. Stern.
[15:37] I just want to clarify.
[15:39] The rate for our millage has been the same since 1994.
[15:44] Is that correct?
[15:45] Yes.
[15:46] Okay.
[15:47] And could you speak just a little bit about how our millage relates to our AAA bond rating
[15:53] and the significance of maintaining that rating for the city?
[15:56] So the triple a bond rating is very much something of pride for the city of
[16:00] Beachwood where the only city our size in the state of Ohio to have this this
[16:05] rating the other one closer to us is like Strong's bill much larger and the
[16:10] triple a rating does allow us to borrow at a cheaper rate and more importantly the
[16:17] fact that in our charter we have 9.2 mils and only levy 2.4 when we go to
[16:23] Rating agencies, they understand that we could collect more money, and that does also help with the rating.
[16:29] And if we failed to resume this, that would have a negative impact on that triple A bond rating as well.
[16:35] Most definitely.
[16:36] Thank you.
[16:38] Any other questions?
[16:39] Mr. Isaacson?
[16:40] Mr. Heiser, this is revenue neutral to every property owner in the city, correct?
[16:47] We are collecting our four mills again.
[16:51] So we had forgiven our four mills and the schools picked it up and now it's flipping back the other way so the schools are not picking up the money that we're leaving on the table.
[17:03] Correct?
[17:05] That is not the case.
[17:08] We are collecting our 2.4 mills again.
[17:11] I don't know what their tax budget looks like.
[17:13] Okay.
[17:13] Okay, but assuming that we go back the way we did, this is revenue neutral for our residents.
[17:19] Correct.
[17:20] Okay, not a tax increase.
[17:24] Correct.
[17:25] Thank you.
[17:26] Any other questions or comments?
[17:29] I want Mr. Cook, please call the roll.
[17:31] All right, on this extension, Mr. Long.
[17:33] Yes.
[17:34] Mr. Isaacson?
[17:35] Yes.
[17:36] Mr. Jacobs?
[17:37] Yes.
[17:38] Mr. Kett?
[17:39] Yes.
[17:40] Mr. Schmidt?
[17:40] Yes.
[17:41] Mr. Stern?
[17:42] Yes.
[17:42] Yes.
[17:43] All right.
[17:43] On the adoption.
[17:44] Mr. Long.
[17:44] Yes.
[17:45] Mr. Isaacson.
[17:45] Yes.
[17:46] Mr. Jacobs.
[17:47] Yes.
[17:47] Mr. Kent.
[17:48] Yes.
[17:48] Mr. Smith.
[17:49] Yes.
[17:49] Mr. Stern.
[17:50] Yes.
[17:51] All right.
[17:51] I will move a resolution designating depositories for active and active and interim funds for the city of Beechwood into clearing this to be an urgent measure.
[18:01] Second.
[18:02] Introduced by me, seconded by Mr. Stern.
[18:05] Mr. Heiser.
[18:06] Thank you, Council President.
[18:07] This is every five years, I am adding Sevista Bank this year and First National Bank, which are both local banks.
[18:18] There's a good chance First National Bank will use something as an operating bank, and otherwise all the other banks dollar bank is our regular operating bank.
[18:28] And Wells Fargo is an investment.
[18:31] We might move around a farmer's bank, but these are all the banks that we'll be using
[18:35] as depositories for the next five years.
[18:38] Thank you.
[18:39] Any questions from Council?
[18:42] All right.
[18:42] Seeing none, Ms. Cook.
[18:43] Please cut it out.
[18:44] On this suspension.
[18:45] Mr. Long?
[18:46] Yes.
[18:46] Mr. Isaacson?
[18:47] Yes.
[18:47] Mr. Jacobs?
[18:48] Yes.
[18:48] Mr. Schmitt?
[18:50] Yes.
[18:50] Mr. Stern?
[18:51] Yes.
[18:51] On the adoption, Mr. Long?
[18:52] Yes.
[18:53] Mr. Isaacson?
[18:53] Yes.
[18:54] Mr. Jacobs.
[18:55] Yes.
[18:55] Mr. Cat.
[18:55] Yes.
[18:56] Mr. Smith.
[18:56] Yes.
[18:57] Mr. Isaacson.
[18:59] Will you please read item 2026-61?
[19:02] Mr. Schoikett.
[19:03] I move a resolution authorizing the continued engagement of the law firm of Kutak Rock, LLP,
[19:08] for legal services for the city of Beechwood, and declaring this to be an urgent measure.
[19:13] Second.
[19:14] I heard Mr. Smith.
[19:15] Me too.
[19:16] Introduced by Mr. Isaacson, seconded by Mr. Smith.
[19:20] Ms. Peter, may I speak into this item?
[19:22] Yes, thank you.
[19:22] So, this continues our legal services with Kudak Rock for the purposes of economic development
[19:28] here within the community.
[19:30] And we have been continuing to use them for services related to CERA's TIFFs and other
[19:37] incentives for economic development.
[19:40] Thank you.
[19:41] Any questions or comments from Council?
[19:44] All right.
[19:44] Thank you.
[19:45] Ms. Cook.
[19:45] Please call the roll.
[19:46] And the suspension.
[19:47] Mr. Long?
[19:47] Yes.
[19:47] Mr. Isaacson?
[19:48] Yes.
[19:49] Mr. Kett?
[19:49] Mr. Smith?
[19:49] Yes.
[19:50] Mr. Smith?
[19:51] Yes.
[19:51] Mr. Smith?
[19:52] Yes.
[19:52] Mr. Jacobs?
[19:56] Yes.
[19:57] Mr. Smith?
[19:58] Yes.
[20:01] Mr. Smith, will you please read item 2026-62?
[20:06] I move a resolution authorizing the mayor to enter into a permanent and temporary construction easement for the installation and maintenance of sanitary and storm sewers and landscape improvements.
[20:16] and declaring this to be an urgent measure.
[20:20] Seconded.
[20:21] Moved by Mr. Smith, seconded by myself.
[20:23] And Mr. Burns, are you speaking or sorry?
[20:26] Mayor Burns, are you speaking to this today?
[20:28] I can speak to this.
[20:29] This is for the installation of storm and sanitary sewers.
[20:33] In regards to the Fairmont Temple property,
[20:35] we need to have adequate size sewers
[20:37] and this is unnecessary part of that project.
[20:40] Thank you.
[20:41] Any questions from council?
[20:44] I think none, Ms. Crock, please call the roll.
[20:45] On the suspension, Mr. Long.

[20:48] Mr. Jacobs.
[20:49] Yes.
[20:50] Mr. Schmitt.

[20:52] Mr. Stern.
[20:52] Yes.
[20:53] On the adoption, Mr. Long.
[20:54] Yes.
[20:54] Mr. I-6N.
[20:55] Yes.
[20:55] Mr. Jacobs.
[20:56] Yes.
[20:57] Mr. Schmitt.
[20:58] Yes.
[20:59] Mr. Stern.
[20:59] Yes.
[21:01] Mr. Jacobs.

[21:05] I move a resolution authorizing the mayor to answer an agreement with Roland's Inc. DBA, Orkin LLC
[21:11] for pest control services for the city of Beechwood
[21:14] and declaring this to mean urgent measure.
[21:18] Second.
[21:19] Introduced by Ms. Jacob, seconded by Ms. Stern.
[21:22] Mr. Haydhar, are you speaking to this item?
[21:26] Tonight.
[21:28] Do you have this one, Chris?
[21:33] I'm assuming that this is a better deal
[21:36] to go for an extended period of time in lock prices,
[21:39] but I apologize, I could look into it a little bit further,
[21:42] But I'm pretty sure that's what it is that's that's what it is. I signed off on it. So yeah, thank you, Merit. Thanks
[21:51] Any questions from council
[21:54] Seeing none miss Cook, please cut it all on this suspension missed along. Yes, Mr. Isaacson. Yes, Miss Jacobs. Yes, Miss Yorkette. Yes, Mr
[22:01] Smith. Yes, Mr.
[22:03] On the adoption, Mr. Long.
[22:06] Yes, Mr. Isaacson. Yes, Mr. Jacobs. Yes,
[22:11] Mr.
[22:11] Mr. Stern.
[22:12] Yes.
[22:13] Mr. Walgreens, will you please read item 2026-64?
[22:17] Yes, I move a resolution authorizing the mayor
[22:19] to accept a quotation for the purchase of parts
[22:22] to rebuild five woesaw snow plows for the city of Beachwood
[22:25] and declaring this to be an urgent measure.
[22:27] Second.
[22:29] Introduced by Mr. Wrong, seconded by Mr. Isaacson.
[22:32] Mr. Erieba.
[22:33] Yes, thank you, Council President.
[22:35] Our mechanics are planning on rebuilding five plows
[22:38] before the upcoming snow season, and in order to do that, we need to order parts,
[22:44] trip edges, and also frames. Fallsway equipment supplied us with the lowest quote of $28,820
[22:52] and 50 cents, so we are requesting to purchase those snowplough parts to get started for that
[22:57] project.
[22:59] Great. Thank you. Any questions from Council?
[23:02] Yeah. I noticed there was a tariff add on to that particular charge.
[23:07] There is yes, but they were still lower with the tariff charge and it was it was hefty
[23:15] It's still long. Did you have a question? I did if we were instead of to rebuild to purchase five
[23:21] What do you have an approximate cost? How much one would be the was saw plows are going for well over $20,000 a piece
[23:28] So we're hoping to get seven to ten years with the rebuilds and extend the life of those plows. Thank you
[23:38] I think I know the answer, but why are their tariff charges associated with this?
[23:43] I believe the parts are coming from Canada.
[23:49] Any other questions?
[23:50] They do snow better there.
[23:55] Any other questions from Council?
[23:57] All right.
[23:57] Seeing none, Ms. Cook, please call the roll.
[23:59] All right.
[23:59] On this suspension, Mr. Long.
[24:00] Yes, Mr. Isaacson.
[24:01] Yes.
[24:02] Ms. Jacobs.
[24:02] Yes, Mr. Schmitt.
[24:04] Yes.
[24:05] Mr. Stern.
[24:06] Yes, on the adoption, Mr. Long.
[24:07] Yes, Mr. Isaacson.
[24:08] Yes, Mr. Jacobs.
[24:09] Yes, Mr. Schmitt.
[24:11] Yes.
[24:11] Yes.
[24:12] Mr. Stern.
[24:12] Yes.
[24:13] All right.
[24:14] Mr. Stern, will you please read item 2026-65?
[24:17] Yes.
[24:18] I move a resolution accepting a quotation for the rental of inflatables and other associated equipment for the 2026 City of Beachwood Fall Festival and declaring this to be an urgent measure.
[24:28] Second.
[24:29] Oh, man.
[24:30] We'll give it to Mr. Jacobs.
[24:32] Introduced by Mr. Stern, seconded by Mr. Jacobs.
[24:36] Mr. Schroeder.
[24:37] It's a popular item.
[24:38] Yeah, so this equipment is for fall fast that will take place.
[24:43] I think it's October 11th this year.
[24:46] It contains all the inflatables, all the rides, games, even picnic tables, and adorand
[24:52] deck chairs, and signage, and flags, and things like that.
[24:56] And it also includes all the staff that go along with those rides.
[24:59] We've been using this company for many years.
[25:01] It's been very reputable, very professional.
[25:03] They're a great customer service, easy to work with.
[25:06] And there are not many places where you can get all these types of equipment at one location.
[25:11] You usually have to go to like four or five to get all these different things.
[25:13] So that's why I'm recommending that we continue our agreement with supergames for this year's
[25:19] fall fest.
[25:20] Thank you.
[25:21] Any questions from Council?
[25:24] All right.
[25:25] Through none, Ms. Cook, please call the roll.
[25:26] On the suspension, Mr. Long?
[25:28] Yes.
[25:28] Mr. Isaacson?
[25:29] Yes.
[25:29] Mr. Jacobs?
[25:30] Yes.
[25:30] Ms. Chuket?
[25:31] Yes.
[25:31] Mr. Smith?
[25:32] Yes.
[25:32] Mr. Stern. Yes. On the adaption. Mr. Long. Yes. Mr. Isaacson. Yes.
[25:36] Yes. Mr. Jacobs. Yes. Mr. Rickett. Yes. Mr. Smith. Yes. Mr. Stern. Yes.
[25:41] Are there any other matters coming before City Council?
[25:45] Before we adjourn I would just like to take a moment to address the procedure regarding
[25:49] table blood distillation and its appearance on the council agenda. So Whitney would you like to
[25:55] review that for us tonight? Thanks. I had a couple questions about this so I just wanted to
[25:59] briefly explain why you're seeing the tabled items and their backup materials continuing
[26:07] to appear on our Council agenda and our packets.
[26:11] Even when legislation is tabled, it remains before Council, so I include the legislation
[26:18] and the supporting documents just to provide a complete reference for Council and the public.
[26:24] It helps maintain consistency in my packet prep and it ensures that everyone including
[26:30] Council and the public has immediate access to the information.
[26:35] And that is in the event that an item is brought back for consideration to say that it's
[26:43] important to remember that when an item is tabled to a specific date, Council may remove
[26:49] it from the table at any time by motion and affirmative vote.
[26:52] So including the supporting materials and that item on the agenda it helps ensure that council's just prepared should that occur
[26:59] Thank you
[27:01] All right, well with that if there are no objections then meeting adjourned.
[27:07] Thank you
