[2:22] engagement through planning, training, maintaining emergency supplies, and

[2:27] staying informed about potential risks and protective actions. And whereas the

[2:32] Brown County Office of Emergency Management, first responders, public

[2:36] service safety agencies, healthc care partners, volunteer organizations,

[2:40] schools, businesses, faith-based organizations, and community

[2:44] stakeholders work year round to strengthen community resilience and

[2:47] emergency readiness. And whereas National Preparedness Month provides an

[2:51] opportunity to educate the public on the importance of developing emergency

[2:55] plans, building emergency kits, signing up for local emergency alerts, and

[3:01] participating in preparedness activities that help reduce the impact of

[3:04] disasters. And whereas the commissioner's court of Brown County

[3:08] encourages all residents to take proactive measures to prepare

[3:11] themselves, their families, pets, and businesses for emergencies and to

[3:16] support efforts that enhance community preparedness and resilience. Now

[3:20] therefore, be it resolved that the Commissioner's Court of Brown County,

[3:23] Texas, hereby proclaims the month of September 2026 as National Preparedness

[3:29] Month in Brown County and urges all residents, businesses, and organizations

[3:34] to participate in preparedness activities and take steps to become more

[3:38] resilient in the face of emergencies and disasters. be a third war resolve that

[3:43] the commissioner's court expresses its appreciation to the first responders,

[3:47] public safety personnel, health care providers, volunteers, emergency

[3:51] management professionals, and community partners whose dedication contributes to

[10:34] basically a cargo van. Uh, but we found this one in Miniola at a dealership Dow

[10:47] and I can submit that on the uh quarter estimate.

[11:20] passenger van. uh very similar to the one that we have now. Um with there's

[11:27] other than it being newer, it's pretty much the same just newer and better

[16:44] have anybody here from Goldmith. Um, so I can talk about it in general. It

[16:52] probably wouldn't hurt for us to go into executive session. This is uh it's

[16:57] essentially cyber security is what this is about. And uh it is a program that's

[17:04] actually paid for by the state of Texas. So the cost to us is zero. Um and if you

[17:13] were to do this as a private company, this would be hundreds of thousands of

[17:19] dollars. So this is worth a lot. So with that said, I think we do need to go into

[17:24] executive session a little bit to talk about it more specifically.
