[2:08] hill. That hill has trees on it. Right now, there are fallen trees on it, and

[2:15] there are two trees that are over 100 ft high that have severely encroached on my

[2:21] property. I am petrified one of those trees is going to come down and take out

[2:27] my house and possibly some of the other town houses on Andrew Road because we're

[2:32] town houses. So, naturally, we're next to each other. I've made contact with

[2:37] the apartment manager and her name is Nancy. We have not talked directly, but

[2:42] she's been very kind and leaving me messages and telling me what she's

[2:47] doing. And today, she left the message that Kalen Township is going to make a

[2:53] site inspection in September on this for my concerns. So, I want to verify that

[3:01] that is correct because this is very serious. I want those trees down by by

[3:08] winter. Every time we get a storm like this or high winds and with the trees

[3:14] that are down already, they're laying behind those 100 foot high trees just

[3:19] putting more weight on them. If they come down, my house is the first one

[3:23] they're going to take out. And so it's this is critical to me as a 42-year

[3:29] resident. Um, so does anybody know if you're scheduled to make a side

[3:34] inspection behind uh this property or anything?

[5:31] lengthy thing here. Something was going on over there. He works a regular job

[5:36] from like 6:00 to 3 or whatever. Then he comes home and he cuts grass or he plows

[5:40] or whatever, but he lives there by himself. When he comes home,

[5:45] he either brings the dog out or

[5:50] puts it right by the door and leaves. And from the moment he leaves,

[5:57] the dog starts barking for hours. I'm not talking about an

[6:03] hour. I'm talking about in the springtime. There was times that dog

[6:06] barked from 5:30 to midnight >> on Tuesday because I stopped down at the

[6:14] police station yesterday. Talked to a officer by the name of Torres. Really

[6:18] nice guy by the way. He's went through everything with me.

[6:21] And the night before gentleman came home. I was standing on

[6:27] my outside patio. I watched. He got in his truck and he left at quarter of

[6:32] five. The dog was barking when he left as he was pulling out of the driveway

[6:39] and continued to bark till 8:00 when he pulled back in. I mean, constant

[6:44] non-stop. Yesterday,

[6:48] same thing. 3:30 to 6:30. So, the springtime I put up with I said,

[6:54] you know, I said to my wife, it's my wife Debbie. I said, maybe he got a new

[6:57] puppy. he's trying to train him, blah blah blah. I just let it go. It was a

[7:01] pain in the neck, but I let it go cuz when that happens, you can't have your

[7:05] windows open. You know how you guys had your windows open that nice night the

[7:08] other night? Not in my house. I got to close the windows, the doors, and put

[7:12] the air on because of the noise from that dog. Okay. And so the officer

[7:18] yesterday tells me I had a note. I says, "Look, I I was

[7:23] going to put this in his mailbox." You know, I said, "Hi, neighbor. I don't

[7:27] know if you're aware of it or not, but when you leave your dogs barking like

[7:30] crazy, it's annoying. Blah blah blah. He says, "Let me do something." And he

[7:34] added his name and he wrote a little note. If you could take steps to He's

[7:39] not getting that note. I taped it to his mailbox. He went to his mailbox twice

[7:44] and left it there and it poured down rain. So, that's done. [laughter] So, I

[7:48] don't know. I don't know where to go with this issue because he said officer

[7:54] Torres that that dog barking

[7:58] is under the noise issue. >> So

[8:02] » that only is enabled from 10 at night to 7:00 in the morning.

[8:05] » So yes sir, but however and we can I can certainly talk to the police chief

[8:09] tomorrow. So what you have to do is you have to call unfortunately you have to

[8:13] call the police while it's going on. So the police enforce I I can enforce it as

[8:18] a zoning officer, but the police have to enforce it when it's occurring

[8:23] » because I can't like I can't do anything about it be if I'm not there when it

[8:28] » I understand that. But here's the issue though. So suppose I call up, he's

[8:32] barking like crazy. You come, he's home by then.

[8:42] it's not a completely isolated incident at some point we'll come and he'll be

[8:49] barking and that's why we use the police to do that. That's why the police help

[10:45] department. Okay. About the speeding that's going on on that road. Okay. I,

[10:55] the electronic boards, put it out there? They came a week later, put the

[11:00] electronic board out there. I don't know if you're familiar with Moore Road, any

[11:04] of you? They put it at the near the bottom of the hill. It did nothing. They

[11:10] left it there for a month. People were coming over the top of that hill. They

[11:14] drive on that road going 45 and 50 miles an hour. And I'm not even exaggerating,

[11:21] okay? The speed limit's 25. >> I feel like I have a highway out back in

[11:26] my house between the hours of 6:30 in the morning and 9ine. 4 in the afternoon

[11:32] to 6. It's the It's a cutth through rush hour thing and it's insane. It's not

[11:38] safe. First of all, I I see cars going down that road going 60 at least.

[11:45] » So, sir, we um the chief isn't here tonight u yet. you had something you had

[11:50] to attend. But um we in the last year, the beginning of this year, we just

[11:55] started a traffic unit. >> Um so uh we've been going around

[11:59] patrolling because we've had we get tons of these complaints. Um so we um have we

[12:06] will alert the chief to this road and the traffic unit can start patrolling

[12:11] that. Um okay. And uh >> I mean when I made the initial report, I

[12:16] gave him the times, you know what I mean? And that's not to say they don't

[12:19] do it in between, but that's the worst times.

[12:21] » So, finally, we are fully staffed and we have the ability to to do these type of

[12:26] things. And we have uh mobile boards now, not just the the trailer, but the

[12:31] little ones that we can put on a sign, too.

[12:33] » So, um we we will alert the chief to this um to this issue on this road and

[12:39] we'll put it on the list of roads to to be looked at.

[12:42] » Okay? because he had he had told me I don't know if it was the chief or not

[12:46] but he had said >> something about these lines he was going

[12:49] to try >> with measures because they can't give

[12:52] tickets because they don't have radar guns

[12:54] » so we can use different system but it it takes multiple officers to operate it

[12:59] that's why in the past we haven't been able to do that um if the state and you

[13:04] could help us with this if you contact your uh state rep and senator get them

[13:08] to allow local municipalities to use radar we can have one officer doing um

[13:14] uh speed uh citations versus having two to three officers doing speed citations.

[13:21] So um we will put it on the list and to to look at but if you can also help us

[13:28] by letting your legislators know that you want us to have the ability to use

[13:32] radar. >> I was at Dan's office yesterday. I

[13:39] » So he said they've been trying for years. So my my point to that is that's

[13:44] never going to pass because evidently people don't want it

[13:57] The police will abuse it to make money, which I find ridiculous when we have

[14:00] issues like I have going on. So here's my thing. If it's never going to pass,

[14:08] what's the other alternative? So, one thing we have uh this board has done is

[14:12] fully fund the police department, which allows us to have a traffic unit. Um,

[14:17] you know, it's taken us years to get to this this place, and unfortunately, it

[14:21] takes a lot of revenue to do that. The police department's over 50% of the

[14:24] township budget. Um, but we as a collective group here have invested in

[14:29] the police department in order to be able to do that.

[14:31] » I think that's great. But, see, in my opinion,

[14:34] that's that road's a quarter mile long, that's all. And it's out of control. And

[14:40] you know what? It's never going to change because you know what? They know

[14:44] that they can get away with it. I think I think they know it.

[14:47] » So, we can cite them. It just takes multiple people to do it. So, uh we will

[14:51] alert the chief. Will, uh um will the chief be at the next meeting? Do you

[14:56] think >> he's expected to be here?

[18:00] the Daily Local on August 18th. I think I explained this uh amendment to the

[18:05] board at a prior meeting. Um, in working with Ry, we realized that chapter 74,

[18:10] which is your driveway code has an appeal provision that allowed somebody

[18:14] who disagreed with an interpretation rendered by Ry or LOL to you, which

[18:18] doesn't really make a lot of sense. So, we changed that section 7410 to say that

[18:23] if you disagree with that interpretation, you still have the right

[18:25] to appeal it, but that appeal will have to be filed as a local agency appeal

[18:29] before the Chester County Court of Common Please. So, that's the first

[18:32] section. And then the second section um is changing the property maintenance

[18:36] code appeal provision. So again, you're going to appeal um instead of right now

[18:41] it's worded that you appeal to the COG board of appeals, which that's really

[18:45] more set up for building code appeals. We've taken that out now, same thing

[18:49] that the appeal method is actually through the district court because your

[18:53] property maintenance code is enforced in a summary criminal matter. So those

[18:57] citations are filed with the district justice and if they go to the district

[19:00] justice hearing and the district justice finds them liable for a property

[19:04] maintenance violation, they have the right to appeal that to the court of

[19:06] common police. So we're just modifying those appeal provisions that really

[19:10] should have been that way from from the outset. So pretty uh straightforward,

[20:12] which things were constructed differed from how the plan was approved. So, they

[20:16] came back with a formal request to modify their final plan approval. So,

[20:20] it's a 26.59 acre parcel. It's at 4533 West Lincoln Highway. They uh started

[20:27] this process out through conditional use approval for a recreational use. In

[20:32] 2020, the board granted preliminary final subdivision plan and then the uh

[20:37] the property was actually developed in accordance with those plans. It's known

[20:40] now as the campus. Um there the changes that are made to the plan are outlined

[20:46] on page two. So, relocated and amended orientation of angled parking spaces to

[20:51] the west side of the property. Added seven parallel parking spaces on the

[20:55] eastern driveway. Removed two parking spaces near the northeast corner of the

[21:00] rear building. relocated three exterior lights from the western side of the

[21:05] property to the opposite side of the driveway in closer proximity to the turf

[21:09] field to avoid conflict with the rightway of the gas pipeline and

[21:14] changing impervious cover by actually reducing it by 3,23 square ft. Uh the

[21:19] township engineer reviewed the application, issued a review letter

[21:23] dated August 18th, 2026. Planning commission reviewed this on June 16th

[21:28] and recommended approval. So the proposed decision would grant the

[21:33] approval to the modifications to the plan. Uh require them to comply with any

[21:37] outstanding comments in Arrow's review letter. Um having them to have to record

[21:42] this plan. So we want to make sure that the plan that's of record is what's

[21:45] actually been built. U reimburse the township for any outstanding fees. And

[21:50] uh that's it really. So I don't know if you have any questions for the

[21:53] applicant, their council or their engineer. But again, as far as the

[21:56] township is concerned, I think they're satisfied with the plan being ready to

[22:00] be approved by you.

[23:37] proposals, we are recommending the award of the repair contract to McCarthy

[23:43] Masonry and Concrete for in the amount of $78,085.

[23:49] Um, our original estimate was between um 125,000 to 190,000. So, it came in well

[23:56] below that. >> Does that include the alternate one as

[24:00] well? Yes, that also. Yes, I'm sorry. That does include um so it's the bridge

[24:04] repairs. It uh repair of the footings and the abupments as well as um cleaning

[24:19] available to start assuming we get all the paperwork in line and the emergency

[27:49] only into humans, canines. Uh so, our director uh wanted to get the public

[27:55] involved in something that everyone cares about, and that's dogs. Uh so, I

[27:59] did reach out to Thorndale Animal Clinic. We will have a veterinarian as

[28:03] well as a nurse practitioner, mannequins, and anyone for the public to

[28:07] come out. I believe it's October 10th. Don't hold me to that. That'll be

[28:11] posted. Uh for the public to come see how to do emergency care on their dogs.

[28:15] Uh we'll be doing human CPR as well. Uh but if you really want to get the people

[28:21] out there, bring the dogs. Uh so, anyone interested, please spread the word. Uh

[28:26] we'll be there doing that. Um,

[28:30] » as far as everything going, uh, daytoday, it's good. Uh, we got the two

[28:34] new trucks. Everyone's fully staff. We still have the chase. Uh, and we're

[28:38] looking to maximize how to cover the community, uh, with the least amount of

[28:43] resources, so we're not overspending, but we are giving the emergency care in

[28:47] the shortest amount of time. Uh, so going forward, we have a great plan.

[28:51] Everyone, you know, will keep you apprised. Uh and then finally, I wanted

[28:55] the police chief to be here uh for this, but we can follow up with him. There's a

[28:59] problem in this country when it comes to 302s. Uh that's involuntary commitments.

[29:04] Uh we have been overutilized improperly transporting patients uh that

[29:10] have no choice under the law because it's a civil arrest warrant. Uh but to

[29:15] be taken to the hospital to be seen by a physician, that's a 302, right? I have

[29:21] no authority as a medic to do that. a doctor, a judge, uh, and a police

[29:24] officer can do so. We cannot. Uh, so we've been put in a spot with some

[29:28] pretty dangerous individuals that I don't feel it's proper to sedate when

[29:33] it's easier to handcuff and drive uh, to a police department or to a hospital.

[29:37] Now, I know the argument is we're under staff, but you also have mutual aid

[29:40] throughout your community. I was a cop for almost 10 years. I know how it

[29:43] works. Uh we're losing the ability to cover emergency calls

[29:49] » by taking somebody that hasn't, you know, said something wrong to their

[29:52] spouse and now we have to take them. We also have medics and EMTs have been

[29:56] stabbed because these people aren't being searched. It is a involuntary

[30:02] commitment is a civil arrest warrant. Uh so going forward, I just want to put on

[30:06] your radar. We're gonna have direction for our people just to keep everyone

[30:10] safe that we need to and we will work with the police department. We're not

[30:14] throwing them under the bus here, but it has to be a two-way street.

[30:23] » On the subject of mental health, I mean, I know that they were they did they

[30:28] actually get the facility over at Westchester over

[30:31] » uh New Haven. >> Yeah.

[30:32] » But they have to go to a hospital. They cannot go to New Haven until they're

[30:35] discharged from a hospital. >> Discharged. Okay. And you still have to

[30:38] transport between location two. >> And the physician has 2 hours to

[30:42] evaluate and yes, 302 or no, let them go.

[30:46] » Uh so I I can't tell I can tell you the amount of people I've transported over

[30:50] the years. Maybe two of them got 302 if you want the truth. Uh there's just no

[30:55] space for these people, no resources. So, not to take up more of your time,

[31:00] but this is very near and dear to us, and we don't want our providers stabbed,

[31:04] killed, uh, when they don't have to be. They really don't. So, we're showing up

[31:08] on every scene as supervisors to make sure this is correct right now. Uh,

[31:14] going forward, we're going to put something on paper just so you guys are

[31:45] to first recognize past Chief Dan Doni who achieved 29 years. Uh Lieutenant

[31:51] Zach McFiggins 10 years. and one of our newest members, Christian Romeo,

[31:56] achieved his uh one year >> uh within the last two months. Um so

[32:01] we're happy to see some new and and old uh year creeping up on the years, not

[32:06] necessarily age. [laughter] I don't want that taken the wrong way. Um other than

[32:13] that, um as you know, uh the squad did go in service in the beginning of July.

[32:18] It was a very rapid process. Um, but we're finally happy to see that in

[32:23] service and it's been uh running a lot as you could see. Um,

[32:30] other than that, the only thing from my report again that I included for this

[32:33] month, um, in the main note section, um, and again more so for Commissioner

[32:39] Evans, um, out of the 10 automobile accidents that responded to in July,

[32:45] seven of which were on our Route 30 bypass, which wish we could put some

[32:48] speed bumps up there. cuz I love them going by me at 90 mph.

[32:53] » Endot took care of that. They're just inverted.

[32:55] » Oh, yeah. They're they're potholes. >> Yeah.

[32:57] » So, the vehicle hits them and swerves into us. Got it. Um so, yeah. I mean,

[33:04] it's we're getting to the point um of We hate to leave anybody up there, but from

[33:11] a fire company and even EMS, once there's no services for us, we're

[33:16] getting off as quick as we can. um just cuz it's so unsafe for us up there. I I

[33:22] realize it's there's no >> nothing we can necessarily do. Uh it's

[33:26] just unfortunately it's what civilization has come to of I got to get

[33:31] to point A or from point A to point B in the fastest time possible. Don't get in

[33:36] my way. M >> um and unfortunately we I think last

[33:41] either last week or week before we had to close a section of Reeseville Road uh

[33:46] for for an incident and it got to the point where our fire police uh were

[33:52] basically ready to leave because they were getting screamed and cursed at uh

[33:56] just for keeping a roadway closed for our safety. And this is a daily

[34:00] occurrence. Um, unfortunately just no humility anymore out of people.

[34:07] » Yes. >> Is there a possibility? I know it's

[34:10] PennDOT and right now they're not high on my list

[34:13] of people I like, but if there is an accident on the bypass, is there any

[34:17] possibility of just blocking it at the um,

[34:20] you know, the ramp behind you and at least clearing the the traffic there and

[34:25] having everybody else route off? >> So, we do our best. It's a matter of so

[34:30] I mean obviously we don't have paid fire police.

[34:32] » Mhm. >> So they're coming from 10 15 minutes

[34:36] away and they're only allowed to run blue lights which is essentially a

[34:40] courtesy light in the state of another we talk about speed. The blue light law

[34:44] was introduced in 1985 and it hasn't been changed since. So we're not an

[34:49] emergency vehicle. You you can we you don't have to pull over. You don't have

[34:55] to do anything. It's just like, hey, yeah, we're we're there blinking behind

[34:58] you. Um, so we can't get there like say an emergency vehicle. So, it's a matter

[35:04] of getting those people to the station to get our traffic control unit uh or

[35:10] direct to the scene. Um, so that's the problem. It just takes time.

[35:15] » Um, and we try and the resources we do have, we we do try and get obviously a

[35:22] unit to the scene to mitigate the incident. And if we can leave something

[35:26] back to potentially deal with the traffic, that's great. But unfortunat

[35:31] like at the end of the day, our the we're there for the incident and the

[35:34] incident mitigation. Um I know during certain hours where you

[35:39] talk about pendot the pen on the route 30 bypass, they have the the safety

[35:43] patrol vehicle. Um, what blows my mind is for a little

[35:49] fender bender, they are legally not allowed to move it off the bypass, but

[35:54] they have a tow truck capability.

[35:59] » So, they just got to move it to the side.

[36:00] » They can't even touch the vehicle until it blows my mind. But, it would solve a

[36:07] lot of safety concerns and where they can just move it. Uh, so that's what

[36:13] we're faced with. I I wish wish there were answers, but there are definitely

[36:18] more pressing issues in Harrisburg that

[36:23] » well, [laughter] others think they're more pressing, but

[36:27] yeah. So that's um it's just like I said the where you talk about speed and

[36:32] radars, the blue light laws and things like that for emergency vehicles have

[36:36] been >> have been brought up to uh legislators

[36:40] and it's kind of like eh we don't want to

[36:45] so yeah

[36:50] trying to make it a a lightarted presentation.

[36:54] Uh but other than that that's all I have. Um, again, it's a shame the police

[36:58] chief's not here, but I want to thank him, his staff, and obviously the staff

[37:02] of the township for uh everything putting together National Night Out. It

[37:06] was a blast. And we're really looking forward to uh being there for Town

[37:36] don't always receive some recognition just by the nature of some of the work

[37:40] we do when it comes to property maintenance and some of the inspections.

[37:44] So, uh tonight, I'd like to take a minute to acknowledge one of our

[37:48] employees, uh in the department. Um, and I'll get into why, but we're proud to

[37:54] recognize Aaron Hooper, property maintenance, and housing inspector, for

[37:57] the professionalism, courtesy, compassion he consistently shows our

[38:03] community. Since joining the department um in two uh 2023, Aaron has made a

[38:09] positive impact and continues to grow in his role, most recently taking on the

[38:14] position of assistant zoning officer. Recently, a resident reached out after

[38:18] an inspection to describe Aaron as a gentleman and just a really good guy,

[38:23] praising him for being on time, polite, and efficient. That kind of feedback

[38:28] speaks volumes about Aaron's commitment to serving the residents with respect

[38:32] and dignity. Uh, I'd like to thank Aaron for his dedication and for representing

[38:38] the township so well. Uh, and Aaron's here with

[38:49] He also gives a great tour of the township [laughter]

[38:54] » and he is here 100% under duress just so [laughter]

[39:01] » but Oh yeah and he puts furniture together fantastic.

[39:49] has attended 635 uh hours of uh different fire training

[39:56] across several different disciplines. And so far we've uh conducted nine

[40:01] outreach activities that include fire prevention

[40:05] um employee uh or staff fire safety training. Um other than that,

[40:46] around the township. They've been doing keeping the swells clean um inlets keep

[40:51] keeping them open so you know we're not flooded out. I think um keeping the

[40:55] underpasses clean. We haven't had as many uh flooding situations in the past,

[41:00] so phone hasn't been ringing, so I mean that's a good thing. Um drains are open.

[41:06] Um still working on Fisherville, you know, putting the uh inlets and uh storm

[41:11] water work in ahead of the uh road program that's going to happen soon. Um

[41:18] a resident came in um last month complaining about uh the speeding and

[41:23] people going the wrong way in Carver Court. So, um I think we have the

[41:27] paintings of we did all the paint work up there just to inform them that you

[41:31] know go up one way, come out the other way. We put the no parking for um

[41:37] for sight lines and everything so the residents can um you know not park in

[41:43] places where they're not supposed to be parking. So hopefully that helps out

[41:46] with future stuff. >> That looks nice. Great job.

[43:14] helpful, and we appreciate Johnny and his staff. Um, but uh it did affect uh

[43:20] the amount of golf we could do. We still somehow pulled off 3,000 rounds of golf

[43:25] and >> hit 100k for the for the fourth straight

[43:28] month. Um so we still somehow did that with all the storms and with the u

[43:36] Canadian smoke that came through last month um that affected golf as well. So,

[43:42] in July, we um we did our foot golf tournament. Um I think some of you were

[43:48] there um to see it. And uh that that went really well. In fact, um it's going

[43:56] to expand in 2027 to possibly three different foot golf events. Um it's just

[44:04] a popular thing and uh our flexibility and ability to provide that type of

[44:10] outing for the non-golfers um is something I enjoy to doing. So um that

[44:16] was fun. Uh we also had our summer camp which went really well. Uh 20 kids uh up

[44:23] from eight last year. So it was a big big turnout. Um and the kids had a lot

[44:29] of fun. Um that als those types of things also impact our revenue because

[44:33] we kind of move the golf course into a you know providing a service type of of

[44:39] situation instead of a revenue driving um thing which is which is fine with us

[44:44] because it's a lot of fun. Um and it's good for the for youth golf. um also

[44:49] started the high schools uh Church Farm and Collegium um just started back up

[44:55] and uh so their seasons kick off uh in the next few weeks actually, but they've

[45:01] been practicing since last month. Um >> uh yeah, that's uh pretty much

[45:09] everything that we're going through. Um the rain has prevented the the well from

[45:16] being um installed. Unfortunately, where we want to dig the well is in a very low

[45:22] area that stays really wet and this is a very

[45:25] big machine that has to get out there. Um and we don't really want it to get

[45:30] stuck out there. So, um for the time being, we're we're on pause until next

[45:36] week. Um he was hoping to bring the machine out this week, but it rained a

[45:41] lot today. Um so he'll probably bring the machine out uh either Monday and

[45:46] Tuesday and start drilling by the end of next week. Um and that's just to test to

[45:51] test to see if uh there's water. And um once that's done, uh we should be have

[45:58] we should have a full pond, which will be nice.

[47:37] meadow. Um and I'm excited to get that done and I'm excited to plan the next

[48:33] should come sometime. It's really fun. Um, so that was a big July uh happening.

[48:40] The other fun thing we did was um for our summer series movie nights, we

[48:46] were trying to tie them into America 250. So the first It's hard to find

[48:51] movies that tie in to America 250, it turns out, that are appropriate for kids

[48:55] and families. Um, so we did National Treasure and it was a beautiful night

[49:00] and we set up um a treasure hunt beforehand that was like historic and

[49:07] they got to solve puzzles and try to find and then we had uh gold bar boxes

[49:11] full of treats that people won at the end. So, everybody had a really good

[49:15] time. Uh, small turnout, I think, not the most new and exciting film, but

[49:22] everyone who came enjoyed it a lot. So that was really cool. Um, beyond that,

[49:30] planning for National Night Out, which as everyone know went really well. Um,

[49:36] and now it's all community day. So we are in a really good spot for community

[49:41] day, which um is on September 12th this year from 4 to 8 o'clock. Uh, we just

[49:48] got a band now, so tons of great sponsors. uh really showed up,

[49:55] especially all the engineering firms, which I appreciate. Um I've got posters

[50:00] if anybody has any where they can hang some. I'll keep printing them out. The

[50:03] banners uh have been put up around town at this point. So, lots of food vendors

[50:09] this year, too, more than usual. So, that should be good. But, yeah,

[1:01:52] to a conflict on the um the n the 12th of November. Uh so we talked about

[1:01:59] moving that to November 19th and then of course from for the budget compliance we

[1:02:05] have to advertise the township budget for a period of 30 days. So, we would

[1:02:09] therefore have to move the December meeting date from December 10th to uh

[1:02:15] December 17th in order to meet that deadline. Um,

[1:02:20] if the board approves this change, we of course update it on the township

[1:02:23] calendar and send out all necessary advertisements in order to to make that

[1:02:28] modification to the schedule uh legal. And uh happy to answer any questions uh

[1:02:35] regarding that change. Any questions on the date change?

[1:05:16] Historical Society. A couple of issues. First of all, thank you to Abby for her

[1:05:22] support of the society. Uh the there's an online payment system called Zephy

[1:05:28] that the society uses for payment of membership dues and other activities

[1:05:32] that require payment in advance. And Zephy works very closely with us in in

[1:05:38] informing me of what these payments are for because Zephy doesn't when it comes

[1:05:43] back to me I can see it. It only says Zephy received $25. It didn't tell me

[1:05:48] who from or for what. So Abby is very helpful in supplying that other

[1:05:53] information so I could keep my records correct. Secondly, thank you to Don

[1:05:57] Bezol uh from the from uh the on behalf of the president of the society uh Don

[1:06:03] Coglin and myself as the treasurer for all the efforts he's making with us in

[1:06:09] uh getting the lease in place for the old Historical Society to use a portion

[1:06:15] of the count or the old meeting house, the Ken meeting house. Uh, as as you all

[1:06:21] are certainly aware, the that property now is owned by the township and the Old

[1:06:27] Kellan Historical Society used to have a a lease with the uh former owners, but

[1:06:33] we but we need to have one now for our use of it. So, over the past month or

[1:06:38] so, we've been working very closely with Don here uh to get the language in that

[1:06:42] lease uh that works out both for us and for the township. So, thank thank you,
