[6:50] dashboard. The dashboard provides an

[6:52] overview of the aggregate consumption

[6:54] for your account for the last 30 days.

[6:57] The dashboard is divided into three

[6:59] areas: information cards, usage history,

[7:03] and alerts. The information cards area

[7:06] includes the account number, account

[7:08] address, the 30-day average daily usage,

[7:11] which is useful as a benchmark for your

[7:13] average consumption, and alerts, which

[7:16] allows you to quickly view the alerts

[7:18] you have enabled. We will cover alerts

[7:20] in more detail later. Next, we have

[7:23] usage history. This allows you to

[7:25] quickly view your consumption patterns

[7:27] for the last 30 days. The 30-day average

[7:30] daily usage is displayed on the graph as

[7:33] a ben

[24:19] style that we will be installing in inst

[24:23] got loud installing at the uh township

[24:25] lift stations. Um the chopper pump

[24:28] technology uh will help to grind up a

[24:30] lot of the flushable wipes and other

[24:33] things that come down into the sewer and

[24:35] uh we believe it's going to help kind of

[24:36] improve the uh life of these pumps at

[24:39] the station by not having so much of the

[24:40] flushable materials there or non

[38:43] but my job is to enforce our

[38:46] restrictions and we had campers parking

[38:49] in the driveway which was a restriction

[38:53] and we had to enforce it. So in order to

[38:55] go around our restrictions we've had

[38:58] people park in the streets and actually

[39:00] keep them there for three days on

[39:01] blocks. And so, um, starting in like

[39:05] 2004

[39:07] when I would call, we we we couldn't

[39:11] make them move it because the street

[39:13] isn't our responsibility. So, I I would

[39:16] call our code enforcement and they would

[39:18] tell me it's not their job and we call

[39:21] the police and I would So, I'd call the

[39:23] police and the police would tell me it's

[39:25] not their job to call you and then we

[39:29] would call again. I think I spoke to Tom

[39:31] and then he would tell me to call the

[39:34] police and it wasn't getting done and we

[39:36] were having all these problems and it

[39:38] it's a safety hazard, right? We have

[39:40] children riding bikes, we have

[39:43] kids on scooters, we have go um golf

[39:46] carts and um nothing was getting done.

[39:50] So finally when I was at my wits end

[39:54] I finally got a hold of David and said

[39:56] please tell me what to do. I thought I

[39:58] was going through the right channels

[40:00] here. Um I looked up our restrictions,

[40:04] you know, our code and our code says

[40:06] that they are not allowed to be parked

[40:08] in the street and um so David ended up

[40:13] taking care of it for me, but it took me

[40:16] to have to bother and call a trustee to

[40:19] get it taken care of. So I appreciate

[40:22] that it did get taken care of. Um,

[40:26] but it is there any advice here? I mean,

[40:30] am I doing do I call the township or do

[40:33] I call the police? Can somebody answer

[40:35] that for me so I don't have to keep

[40:37] going through this?

[40:40] » There there's a nuance in the ordinance

[40:41] in the law. Um, we'll work with you. We

[40:44] have no problem working with you. I'm

[40:46] going to direct you to that gentleman

[40:47] right there in the white shirt from the

[40:49] police department.

[40:52] parked in the street unattached to a

[40:54] vehicle and it's legally

[40:56] » It's legally licensed and plated, it's

[41:05] enforcement would get involved. Um your

[41:08] your what subdivision? What? Never mind.

[41:16] understand it and work through it.

[41:17] There's there's a diversion in in the

[41:19] law. Motor vehicle code for streets and

[41:21] roadways and then code enforcement for

[41:24] private properties and anything over the

[41:26] curb and in the sidewalk. So, we'd have

[41:28] to know those nuances. What I would tell

[41:30] you is don't stop calling. You can call

[41:32] code enforcement. We'll work through it.

[41:34] We'll get your address tonight. We'll

[41:35] make sure that they know, but I'm going

[41:37] to direct you to the gentleman in the

[41:38] white shirt, the police chief, who can

[41:40] address specifically um the motor

[41:42] vehicle code and how that applies to

[41:43] campers and trailers. And the nuance is

[41:46] um is it hooked to a motor vehicle? The

[41:49] camper or the trailer? Is it a lawnmower

[41:51] trailer? Is it a a business trailer?

[42:13] it wasn't even attached to a vehicle. It

[42:51] Hey, just uh wanted to say um so during

[42:54] um the constant cleanups I've been doing

[42:56] uh the one thing I wanted to point out

[42:58] is um it's partly in the public areas

[43:02] but also on private properties as well.

[43:05] um a problem that's kind of gone un uh

[43:09] noticed at least for um some people I

[43:11] guess at least I want to say probably

[43:13] the property owners but uh something I

[43:16] wish the township would kind of like

[43:18] put out a message properly for them is

[43:22] on these properties a lot of the drains

[43:26] get clogged up and when I mean clogged

[43:27] up I mean I I can tell because I have

[43:30] over a decade in civil engineering

[43:31] experience this stuff is months

[43:35] without any cleaning. And you know, if

[43:39] anybody doesn't have a goldfish memory,

[43:41] three years ago, we had major flooding

[43:42] in the community. And so, uh, the most

[43:44] important aspect of landscaping is

[43:46] drainage. And when you're designing

[43:49] stuff as an engineer, like that that is

[43:51] like the biggest thing you have to

[43:52] account for is where does the water go?

[43:55] Where does your runoff go? And if these

[43:59] are all clogged up and it's not the

[44:01] entire township, but there are certain

[44:03] choke points where they get clogged up

[44:05] and nobody's taking care of it, nobody's

[44:07] maintaining it. And I think a a good

[44:10] gentle reminder to everybody in the

[44:12] community of hey, if you you know, if

[44:16] it's not just leaves, but there's trash.

[44:18] It's an accumulation of effects. It's a

[44:20] if if I see an entire bug colony when I

[44:25] pull that stuff out, I'm like, "Okay,

[44:26] yeah, this this has been here a while."

[44:29] And if this if the township can make

[44:32] that an address sort of, hey, clean

[44:35] these out now and then you don't have to

[44:37] worry about any flooding in the future,

[44:40] it makes a big difference down the line.

[44:42] This is the this is the notation of

[44:44] proper maintenance, proper adherence

[44:46] toward what we regularly do can prevent

[44:50] anything major in the future because

[44:52] oftent times a lot of disasters or a lot

[44:55] of problems communities face come from

[44:57] the breakdown of not maintaining current

[45:00] infrastructure um as it should be. And

[45:05] just simple maintenance like that, like

[45:08] a general reminder to business owners,

[45:10] to people, people's properties, or for

[45:13] the public in general, keep these areas

[45:15] clean. We'll have no problems. Thank

[47:41] partner over in the fire and uh we're

[47:44] working as you mentioned earlier uh with

[47:46] water department. So, um these are good,

[47:49] uh best practices and um very very

[47:53] efficient um and the um the township

[47:57] residents are better for uh for it. So,

[48:00] uh congratulations to the fire

[48:02] department and uh thanks for all your

[48:04] hard work. Um, Miss Rio, I'm glad that

[48:06] you came uh because uh we've been

[48:09] messaging and um the ordinance that you

[48:14] reference is very difficult because um

[48:17] for a couple weeks in a row, a couple

[48:19] board meetings in a row, we had

[48:20] residents who um have campers and they

[48:24] came forward and they were frustrated

[48:27] because code enforcement had sent out um

[48:30] dozens of letters uh to RV and boat

[48:33] owners who had parked park their um

[48:37] vehicles uh recreational vehicles,

[48:39] trailers, so forth uh in their driveway

[48:42] in the front. Your situation has been uh

[48:45] nightmarish in terms of um I I think

[48:49] it's fairly isolated to one particular

[48:52] individual who's uh really flagrant

[48:56] about um his vehicle and it's a rather

[49:00] large uh trailer. Um it's not the same

[49:04] as some of the concerns that we have

[49:08] have heard from other residents who have

[49:10] a trailer or a boat and they say um you

[49:13] know it takes me a little time to to

[49:15] pack it or unpack it after a trip. This

[49:18] situation is dramatically different and

[49:22] um I appreciate all the work that you've

[49:24] done within your uh community. your HOA

[49:28] board has met and um you you really

[49:32] tried to resolve it internally and when

[49:34] it was um you know this particular

[49:37] resident who was pushing to the limit

[49:40] and you needed help um it got a little

[49:43] confusing because as the supervisor

[49:45] mentioned um the the right of way and

[49:49] legally parked vehicles in the street

[49:52] fall under one jurisdiction

[50:23] enforcement. It's a tricky issue. Uh but

[50:26] I agree uh having gone out in into your

[50:29] neighborhood and watching and seeing

[50:32] where this individual's vehicle worked

[50:35] um does create some problems. Uh your

[50:38] your neighborhood is very walkable and

[50:40] bikable and kids are out and they're

[50:43] moving into traffic and trying to avoid

[50:46] um it wasn't even hooked up to a

[50:48] vehicle, Mr. Supervisor. It's literally

[50:50] in the street on blocks. Um, so th this

[50:54] is an individual that's a little bit

[50:55] different. Um, but I'm happy to help and

[50:58] uh I appreciate you coming to the

[51:00] meeting tonight to to enlighten the rest

[51:02] of the board on what you're dealing with

[51:04] over there and our public safety and

[51:06] code enforcement team will definitely

[51:08] support you and uh and and your

[51:11] neighbors. Uh so thank you for coming

[51:22] we come up with a solution. Uh just just

[51:26] on the township's radar, uh we found a

[51:29] code enforcement found another retention

[51:31] detention pond in the township that has

[51:33] been here historically. We're doing the

[51:35] uh mining of data. Uh we're looking for

[51:37] records now. It goes back uh into what

[51:39] we assume is the 50s. Um it was township

[51:42] maintained as near as we can tell. Um, I

[51:45] just say that's problematic because

[51:47] again, um, once we get this sorted out,

[51:50] this is probably going to need a, uh,

[51:53] SAD district created to maintain it in

[51:55] the future. It is a very large um,

[51:58] retention pond. Um, I want to explain

[52:02] myself uh, the no vote on the the, uh,

[52:05] further on the, um, consent agenda. The

[52:08] payroll was on there. I've got issues

[52:10] with uh uh certain employees that were

[52:13] part-time that were brought in uh in

[52:16] elections. Um they were paid off of an

[52:18] email that was sent without

[52:20] justification. I don't know and I

[52:22] clearly I have no statutory authority

[52:24] over election workers, but I am not

[52:26] comfortable with how the payment was

[52:29] processed. So again, I put that on

[52:31] everybody's radar. I'm looking into it

[52:32] still. I don't like what I've seen and

[52:34] heard and uh my hope is bringing it

[52:37] back. But uh again, I think if you get

[52:39] paid by the township, then you perform a

[52:41] duty by the township and um uh record

[52:45] should reflect that. Uh this weekend we

[52:48] have Cheers to Chesterfield event. If

[52:49] you would please go to all of our social

[52:51] media pages. Um it is a township event

[52:54] held at Brandenburg Park. Details are

[52:56] listed. We have fireworks

[52:58] um events, kids events, again all at

[53:01] Brandenburg Park. Details are on our

[53:03] social media and web pages. And as

[53:05] Trusty Joseph indicated, can't be any

[53:07] prouder. Um, police department

[53:09] accredited, fire department accredited,

[53:11] water and sewer accredited on pace for

[53:14] July of next year. Um, and as uh as was

[53:18] stated, this is not just something you

[53:20] go get. This is a deep dive into your

[53:22] into your operation with the intent of

[53:25] having clear policies, clear directives,

[53:28] uh, operating within industry standards

[53:30] and then steps of approval. And uh that

[53:34] is how we my goal is to run uh every

[53:37] department that I have purview over in

[53:39] the township and we will continue that

[53:41] pace. Um we have uh as some of you got

[53:45] we have finance director that you were

[53:46] sent links to. Uh we got your comments

[53:48] back. We are proceeding with that

[53:50] expeditiously. The goal is to have

[53:52] someone in here. My hope is by midmon

[53:54] you have a document in front of you that

[53:57] I dropped off today. I I would love your

[53:59] input on how that appears. Again, that's

[54:00] another step in a different direction,

[54:02] but uh a step that I think is uh very

[54:05] self um explanatory to you. My goal is

[54:09] to get all the non-represented employees

[54:12] uh um under that document and then

[54:15] moving forward. Um and again, uh to your

[54:18] comments, uh Mr. Lock's comments,

[54:21] nothing is done here without a purchase

[54:22] order. Period.

[54:24] So I don't know who is giving you the

[54:26] explanation but nothing is purchased

[54:30] nothing is bought without entry by the

[54:33] department head into keep pointing to

[54:35] again I don't even know why I'm

[54:37] addressing this but u who's ever giving

[54:39] you that information is wrong. So um
