[2:02] 70th ANNIVERSARY RECOGNITION - It is recommended the City Council present Howard and Lola Leggett with a 70th Wedding Anniversary certificate and two tickets to the La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts.
[7:46] PRESENTATION BY DISTRICT 57 ASSEMBLYMEMBER LISA CALDERON – It is recommended the City Council receive a presentation by District 57 Assemblymember Lisa Calderon.
[11:34] RECOGNITION OF FORMER LA MIRADA COMMUNITY FOUNDATION MEMBER - It is recommended the City Council present an appreciation plaque and tickets to the La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts to Lesley Watkins for her years of dedicated service to the community.
[11:45] RECOGNITION OF BIOLA UNIVERSITY’S MEN’S AND WOMEN’S SWIMMING & DIVING TEAMS - It is recommended the City Council recognize the athletes and coaches of the Biola University Men’s and Women’s Swimming & Diving Teams and present them with Certificates of Recognition.
[26:08] RECOGNITION OF EMPLOYEE FOR YEARS OF SERVICE - It is recommended the City Council recognize Joshua Bessom for his years of service and present him with a service award pin and a certificate of appreciation.
[30:01] PUBLIC HEARING
[30:06] ORDINANCE NO. 721 REESTABLISHING AND MODIFYING THE CITY COUNCIL DISTRICTS ENACTED BY THIS COUNCIL’S PASSAGE OF ITS ORDINANCE NO. 684 ON NOVEMBER 8, 2016 - It is recommended the City Council conduct a Public Hearing to receive input from the community regarding the redrawing of election district boundaries and adopt Ordinance No. 721 reestablishing and modifying the City Council Districts enacted by this Council’s passage of its Ordinance No. 684 on November 8, 2016.

[59:39] TENTATIVE PARCEL MAP NO. 82582, CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 330, ADMINISTRATIVE ADJUSTMENT NO. 52, A SITE PLAN REVIEW, AND THE ASSOCIATED NEGATIVE DECLARATION TO: CONSOLIDATE TWO PARCELS INTO ONE; CONSTRUCT A 70,092 SQUARE FOOT ADDITION TO THE EXISTING BUILDING; AND INSTALL TWO EXTERIOR GROUND MOUNTED CARBON DIOXIDE TANKS AT 14405 ARTESIA BOULEVARD, WITHIN THE INDUSTRIAL (M-2) ZONING DISTRICT - It is recommended the City Council conduct a Public Hearing as prescribed by law; affirm the findings of the Negative Declaration; and adopt Resolution No. 21-33 approving Tentative Parcel Map No. 82582, Conditional Use Permit No. 330, Administrative Adjustment No. 52, a Site Plan Review, and the associated Negative Declaration to: consolidate two parcels into one; construct a 70,092 square foot addition to the existing building; and install two exterior ground mounted carbon dioxide tanks at 14405 Artesia Boulevard, within the Industrial (M-2) Zoning District.
