[1:30] Well done. We will now proceed with the presentation items. There are three

[1:34] presentations this evening. Deputy City Manager McGovern, will you please

[1:39] introduce the first item?

[1:44] Thank you, Chair Brutin. Sec. Get this.

[1:55] I would like to introduce our senior recreation supervisor, Courtney Wiso,

[1:59] who's going to give a presentation to us tonight about the clubhouse.

[2:09] Good evening, Chair Brutin and Commission. I'm Courtney Weissaki. I'm

[2:13] the senior recreation supervisor over at the clubhouse. We are for the 50 and

[2:17] better community. So, I'm here tonight to talk to you about uh all of our

[2:22] updates or things going on this year. Um, so what you do have in front of you

[2:27] right now is our clubhouse calendar that uh is offered four times a year and

[2:32] shows all of our programs currently March through May.

[2:37] Excuse me. So, at least for the clubhouse, uh, one of the biggest

[2:40] programs that we have are our catered lunches, which some of you have

[2:45] attended. Uh we offer them monthly and then we have four additional lunches

[2:49] through the year uh including our Super Bowl celebration, Mother's Day, Father's

[2:54] Day, and Veterans Day. Uh our most special lunch, I would say, is our Holly

[3:00] Jolly Holiday Lunchon. That's during the holiday time. And one of the great

[3:05] things we do for that event is we work with local uh businesses and

[3:10] organizations to provide gifts for our seniors. So this year we were able to

[3:15] donate uh gifts for every single patron that attended the lunch as well as

[3:21] raffling off the additional ones. Um some could be upwards of $100 gift

[3:26] cards. So this year we did donate 271 gifts which is the most we've ever been

[3:31] able to do which is fantastic. Uh we also have our bunko nights at the

[3:36] clubhouse if it's offered uh by monthly. We sell out every time at 48 registered

[3:43] participants. We also have three yearly clubhouse dances that typically sell out

[3:48] at 120 registered participants. This last one was our past Friday. It was the

[3:53] big top bash. It was a circus theme. Uh super fun. We also offer monthly crafty

[4:00] crafters programs that sell out at 35 participants. Uh four quarterly garden

[4:05] club classes at 30 participants. And then our ameritus classes which um are

[4:12] through Irvine Valley College and Saddleback College. They're a

[4:15] partnership through them. Uh we offer them through the school semesters. So

[4:20] right now we're currently in the spring. We offer 22 classes right now. And then

[4:24] same thing in the summer we'll offer another 22 classes. So those can be

[4:28] either like fitness or enrichment classes. um yoga, dino band, line dance,

[4:34] taichi, computer classes, uh ESL, um intermediate Spanish. So really,

[4:41] whatever your mobility is or your interest, we most likely have something

[4:45] for you. Uh one thing that we've also uh added to the clubhouse for Ameritus

[4:52] Classes is in the last couple couple of years, our arts and crafts room patio

[4:57] has been updated with the awnings. So, uh, now we offer a handful of classes

[5:02] out there as well, which is super great because now it's a readily used space,

[5:07] not only former classes, but also for some pop-up events as well. Some

[5:12] additional programs we offer, as you know, the clubhouse is very well known

[5:16] for our bingo. Uh, we offer it the first and fourth Monday of every month, as

[5:22] well as every Thursday. We could get upwards of 170 plus patrons at bingo. Uh

[5:28] twice a month we offer movies in our back classroom. Also twice a month we

[5:33] offer our mini excursions and a handful of large excursions a year. Our next one

[5:38] coming up is the uh San Diego Natural History Museum. Uh we offer ping pong

[5:44] three days a week. Some social services and wellness resources and workshops.

[5:50] So, some of the ones we currently offer physically in the center could be um

[5:54] like AARP driver safety classes, uh legal aid if you need assistance with

[6:00] Medicare, um medication review, so they go over uh

[6:04] like your supplements or medications that you're taking. Uh we also have a

[6:09] grief program. And then if we don't necessarily offer it, we have tons of

[6:13] resources we can provide our patrons to offer out. Um, and then also once a year

[6:19] in October, we offer a senior resource fair and flu shot clinic. Uh, so it's

[6:25] always the second week in October. This past uh October, we had 44 vendors,

[6:31] which was the most we've ever had, and uh 200 registered participants. Our flu

[6:37] shot clinic is uh partnered through Ralph's Pharmacy, and then we'll be

[6:41] offering it again this year, the second week of October. Uh we also have two

[6:46] senior transportation programs. One with California Yellow Cab, which offers uh

[6:50] taxi services to the clubhouse uh within Lake Forest and also some neighboring

[6:55] cities, and then also our Hwell uh senior services bus, which uh picks them

[7:00] up at their home and then transports them directly to the clubhouse. We also

[7:05] offer Thursday clubhouse speakers and seminars uh twice a month. So that

[7:10] allows organizations to come in and talk during the bingo break. So it gives them

[7:15] at least about a hundred patrons plus to talk to. Uh we typically gauge it

[7:20] obviously for topics 50 and better. So we have done things like fall pre excuse

[7:25] me fall prevention, Alzheimer's, but we've also had more fun type things

[7:29] bringing in like the therapy horses, therapy dogs, or I should say uh therapy

[7:34] like ponies. Um yeah, but anything um that we think may be a good resource for

[7:40] them, we really try and bring into the center because they may not have that

[7:43] capacity to, you know, find it on their own time. Um some new pop-up events and

[7:50] programs that we have. So, uh we have Cars and Coffee. Um so, as some of you

[7:56] may know, I used to run the Fourth of July parade for a couple years and one

[8:01] of the car clubs was just having fun. So, I was able to make that great

[8:06] connection and contacted him to see if he'd be interested in doing a car show

[8:10] for the clubhouse. So, we actually have our third one coming up on Monday the

[8:15] 16th. The theme is going to be cars and clovers. So, uh play on St. Patrick's

[8:21] Day. And then that will be on the side parking lot um next to the clubhouse. We

[8:28] also have clubhouse karaoke which is a volunteer ran program. It is super

[8:33] popular. It runs once a month, the third Monday of the month. Um, and it runs for

[8:38] about two hours. He keeps extending his time because people want to attend it

[8:42] and sing for a long time, which is fantastic. Uh, we also offer holiday and

[8:47] seasonbased pop-up event. So whether Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, um,

[8:53] fall season, we had a sweater weather social. So we had someone come in and

[8:58] sing and play the guitar for the patrons.

[9:01] Couple new classes we have is a partnership with my Medicare plan. They

[9:06] offer a uh monthly senior flower shop class uh and also a bimonthly painting

[9:12] art class. Um Optum is also doing some salsa dance classes right now. So the

[9:18] next one is this upcoming Monday. We are completely sold out with uh 30 patrons

[9:23] and that'll be on the arts and crafts room patio.

[9:26] And also we've had some special events here at the performing arts center. Um,

[9:31] so obviously even though we're at the senior center, we are community services

[9:35] and uh we like to be a dual team. So we have had two piano performances here uh

[9:42] with Nick Gallinatus. He's a local pianist. Um, and next Tuesday we have

[9:47] the US Air Force uh clarinet quartet that will be coming to perform here for

[9:53] a couple hours for our patrons. So that'll be super fun as well. Uh, a

[9:57] couple of pop-up events we have coming up is our spring fun ice cream social.

[10:02] Uh, we work with a vintage ice cream truck. I that's the best way to describe

[10:08] it. And they park out in the roundabout and just hand out tons of ice cream

[10:13] bars. So, super fun for the seniors. Who doesn't love ice cream? And then as we

[10:18] roll into the summer season, we also offer our summer snow cone bash. Um, so

[10:24] while this was a very condensed version on the clubhouse, uh, as you can tell,

[10:29] we offer a lot of really fun programs and services for our patrons, we can

[10:34] have upwards of 200 to 400 seniors coming in the facility every day

[10:38] depending on what's going on. Um, but we have a really great team and a really

[10:42] great center. So if anyone has any questions, I would be more than happy to

[10:47] answer them. >> Thank you. I do enjoy the clubhouse as

[10:50] of late. It's kind of once you get into it, you just keep going. It's kind of

[10:53] addictive. So >> very addicting.

[11:12] senior clubhouse with the same passion you did the parade. Uh just a little

[11:15] side note, I think it was two years ago. Was it your foot that you broke? Uh, I

[11:22] sliced my foot on >> sliced her foot. Still showed up at 6.

[11:26] Still showed up at Tribute Hills High School at 6 a.m. in the morning, limping

[11:30] around, not complaining, and still the parade went off without a hitch. So, I

[11:33] do remember that. So, um, I hope someday to be retired and take advantage of some

[11:38] of these things. My husband should do that right now. He's maybe will do that

[11:42] now. He's retired. Uh, so thank you so much. Great stuff. And, um, just good

[11:47] stuff. You you um do everything with passion and

[11:53] dedication and it showed with the parade. I was proud to serve under you

[11:57] for a couple of years >> and the same thing with the senior

[12:00] center. They're lucky to have you so thank you chair.

[12:56] door. The staff is so wonderful and you can tell the patrons love the staff,

[13:00] love to be there and really speaks to your hard work in providing such a great

[13:05] variety of events. So, thank you for that.

[17:23] city manager, Mr. McGovern. Do you have any comments to share?

[17:27] » Thank you, Chair Brutin. Just a few. got some updates on some events. The biggest

[17:31] of which is the United States's 250th birthday, which is this July 4th. So, as

[17:38] part of that process, um we're going to be creating a float to be in the parade.

[17:45] All kinds of giveaways we're going to set aside. Um just really going to try

[17:48] to have fun with the event and make it obvious that it's the 250th birthday.

[17:54] More on this to come. Uh we're also going to have banners. So there tire is

[17:58] going to be um in uh a lot of enhancements to what we typically do in

[18:04] addition to a float. So we're really looking forward to that. More on that

[18:08] soon. I'll probably have a more in-depth report at the next commission meeting.

[18:13] Happy to report that park security started on Monday. So nighttime patrol

[18:18] started on Monday. We've already been getting some incident reports which is

[18:22] exactly why we hired the security firm. So that's going well. uh that was a very

[18:27] competitive process. I think we actually set the city record for the amount of

[18:31] firms that submitted uh to participate in that procurement process. So

[18:36] competition is a good thing in this area because we were really able to balance

[18:40] you know the cost of the service and the quality and really find a good match for

[18:44] what we were looking for. Uh and so far uh things have worked out great. Some

[18:49] other events I wanted to update the commission on dueling pianos here March

[18:55] 14th. So, you can find more information about this on the city calendar and the

[18:58] city's website. It's either close to selling out or may Okay,

[19:06] » 200 is our max at 195. >> So, very close. So, this event is

[19:14] actually the first in a series of staff produce ticketed events. If you remember

[19:19] about a year and a half, almost two years ago now, we did the focus groups

[19:24] project where we brought in a consultant to set up a focus group with different

[19:29] age groups of people, all kinds of different ethnicities and really wanted

[19:33] to see. We use this we use this we use this consultant to gauge um is our

[19:40] program offering matching what the market kind of demands. And we do have a

[19:45] gap. there's a missing middle that we found. Looks like people are just

[19:50] wanting something to do. Um particularly in that I don't know like the working

[19:55] professional age 40 to 55 maybe 35 to 55. So we tried to market this event to

[20:03] that specific age group although it's open to everyone. And yeah this is the

[20:08] first of two and so far so good. So like I said we're almost sold out. So it's a

[20:12] good way to market this facility. A lot of people just don't know about this

[20:16] facility yet and just you really have uh just such a great gem here that's

[20:20] available for rent beyond just having city council meetings here. So, we're

[20:24] hoping to kind of kill two birds with one stone there. And we also have Bunny

[20:28] Blast on March 28th over at El Toro Park. So, those are the next two big

[20:33] events. If you're planning on coming to Dueling Pianos, I guess get your tickets

[20:37] right after this meeting because that's a that's a blockbuster event. So, going

[20:55] » Awesome. Well, um, good to see you guys all again. Um, I missed the last

[21:00] meeting. I was actually at my sister's wedding in Arizona, so there was a good

[21:04] reason. Um, the last couple months have been um, awesome as far as going to

[21:12] parks. I've been um to Tamaris Park. Um we've had practices there. I don't know

[21:16] if you you if you're at the top of the hill kind of looking down, you can

[21:21] almost see the ocean when it's really clear. I don't know if you guys have I I

[21:24] the last time I was I could almost see it. So um it was I love that park. It

[21:29] was I love what the city's done. Um I've been to um the sports park a lot. Um

[21:35] Baker Ranch, the sports park. I actually was just running back from a practice

[21:39] from my daughter's little league um T-ball that I'm coaching. So, we were at

[21:43] Baker Ranch. Um, went home, changed, rushed back here. So, um, but I love the

[21:48] park. You guys are doing a great job. Love the city staff. Um, Ken works

[21:53] really well with the Lake Force Little League because I'm on the board there,

[21:56] too. And Ken and opening day um for the little league was awesome. It was great.

[22:02] We had Mayor Pea was there and he kind of said a couple words and um just

[22:07] everything kind of went really smoothly. So, I we couldn't have really done that

[22:10] without Ken and the city's help. Um, and then um what was the last thing was um

[22:22] I think one more thing. Well, if I if it'll come to me, I'll come back to you,

[22:51] "Okay." Anyway, um, I attended the Lake Forest VIP parks meeting as always. So

[22:58] informative. Uh, they've got it down where they know, I think, all the cracks

[23:03] in the sidewalks and the parking lots. They're talking about how they have that

[23:07] program for that. Um, it's just amazing to to kind of get a little behind the

[23:12] scenes look at some of the stuff that goes into our park maintenance and such.

[23:16] Um, I attended the uh skate park design, the last one we had.

[23:22] Always so impressed with um our community that shows up is very

[23:26] passionate about what they want. Um, anyway, I'm so always I'm always so

[23:31] impressed with our wonderful community. uh attended the senior lunch, the dinner

[23:36] dance, the big top. Oh my gosh, it was over the top and everything that they

[23:42] do. Anyway, I'm just thrilled. Um I'm attending CPS conference next week in

[23:49] Long Beach. I've got my uh volunteer down so I can go for free. I'm going to

[23:55] be a room host for some of the sessions, so that'll be exciting. And of course,

[24:00] I'm looking forward to the expo hall. to see all the new stuff. And um and I know

[24:08] I don't know. Is it too soon to ask about summer concerts? Who we have yet?

[24:39] the weather and so you're welcome. Um, did not care to share my germs with you.

[24:43] Um, but happy to be back. Um, and I won't bore you with everything I've done

[24:47] in the last however many months, but one of the things I did was I did attend the

[24:50] three meetings about the Etnes skate park. So, looking forward to uh that

[24:54] coming back to us next month. And just wanted to plant a couple of seeds based

[24:59] on some things I heard from the community, some things that are brewing

[25:03] up here. Um, so the first is that although it wasn't part of the

[25:06] discussion, the scope of the discussions that we had with the design consultant

[25:10] who was wonderful. Um, but I definitely heard multiple times and observed myself

[25:15] when I go to the site, we've got to do something about the parking lot. So, I

[25:19] don't want that to fall off the radar with this project, especially if we make

[25:23] the park so much better and it's all wheels and we're more welcoming to a

[25:27] broader community. They need somewhere to park. Um, so would love to see us

[25:31] thinking about that um as part of this project. Um, and then in terms of

[25:38] timeline, I know that there are multiple areas of the park that we'd like to work

[25:43] on and the plan is to do that in sections so that the whole park is never

[25:47] entirely closed to the community. And so I'm just going to plant a seed that

[25:52] there's like a really big event happening in 2028 in Southern California

[25:56] um similar to one that just ended in Milan. and I'll call it the Olympics.

[26:00] And um we know that a lot of countries are coming early to train. We know that

[26:05] there are swimmers from the Netherlands coming to Mission Viejo. We know about

[26:08] the pingpong facility that's happening in Lake Forest. And the skate park could

[26:13] be a great training facility. So, I would love for us to think about our

[26:18] timeline in terms of what do we want to have ready for 28 and what do we not

[26:22] want to have fenced off in 28 so that that facility um can draw some really

[26:27] exciting um opportunities to our community. And then the last thing about

[26:31] the skate park is that I know that Miss Hunter is working on um turning that

[26:36] into an all-wheel park and that there's a lot of behind the-scenes work in terms

[26:39] of insurance and code and uh would love an overview of that when the designs

[26:44] come back to us. Uh, so with that said, um, I always have fun at the clubhouse.

[26:49] We always, we already talked about that. And then just a tip of the hat to staff

[26:53] with the new evening events and particularly combining them with the

[26:56] date night drop off. I think that's a great new opportunity and thank you for

[27:14] commissioner almost well technically vice chair Fuentes thank you for your

[27:19] passion and bringing the little league and all that stuff uh to this we had a

[27:24] former uh commissioner Kelly who do you know Kelly Gould and uh we there was

[27:29] always kind of missing a little bit of the little league at such a big part of

[27:32] Lake Forest so I'm so glad that we now have a presence with you and thank you

[27:36] for your passion and um uh Mr. Brutin, I just want to start by saying thank you.

[27:44] You bring so much this and I'm very proud that I nominated you last year.

[27:48] You've done an excellent job. I know your background um at I think it was the

[27:53] is it the presidential Nixon presidential lab facility? So um we were

[27:58] honored that you you know you gave us your expertise with this. You have a lot

[28:02] of passion about what you did. So congratulations to you um Mr. Fuentes

[28:06] and thank you again Chair Brutin for all your hard work. Um I attended um I did

[28:12] not attend both meetings in February of the um city council. The first meeting

[28:16] we had a little leak issue at our home. So we were lucky enough to have somebody

[28:20] fix that. Attended the second meeting and also attended the March 3rd meeting

[28:25] last night. Uh and um we uh as Lorett as Commissioner Herren said attended our

[28:31] second pray committee meeting this past Monday. Uh it's kind of a triple header

[28:36] the first week of every month. Uh we um I know the logo we chose a logo from we

[28:41] had like 16 uh people 16 logo designs so with participants we did choose one we

[28:47] don't have it to show tonight I think um Mrs. Hunter. Yes, we have to tweak it a

[28:52] little bit. Something with the dates also. Um but the theme this year is

[28:57] celebrate country and community as um the my colleagues mentioned. It's the

[29:02] 250 anniversary of the country and the 35th anniversary of the city of Lake

[29:09] Forest which I can't believe December 20th, 1991. So celebrate country and

[29:13] community and the logo that we picked is really really nice. So, you'll get to

[29:18] see that um soon. Uh also want to thank you um deputy senior manager um McGovern

[29:26] uh about you know more um what's the word more um kind of

[29:33] people knowing about the center I can't think of the right word just bringing

[29:37] this beautiful ballroom I personally had my wedding reception there used both

[29:41] ballrooms and Miss Blein was there and uh Miss Herren

[29:46] I didn't know you guys at the time or you would have been there and um it's a

[29:51] little known. I invited a lot of people that lived in Lake Forest that had never

[29:55] had no idea that this facility was here and they were very happy to know that.

[29:59] So, anything we can do to bring it more to light would be great. Uh it was a

[30:04] fantastic wedding. Had so many comments about that. Um I was lucky enough to um

[30:09] get a cancellation the day or like five o'clock at the last bunko. She called

[30:39] for April. The first time I I usually have Loretta, Commissioner Herren, do

[30:42] that for me, but I ran down to the sports park and, uh, got that. So,

[30:46] anyway, so Bunko was great. So, thank you for providing that. I've heard about

[30:49] that from you, Commissioner Herren, and we are now we really like it. So, um

[31:55] All right. It has been a good year. Um yeah the ongoing success of the Lake

[31:59] Forest Clubhouse has uh been highlighted today. So that's good. And then all the

[32:04] holiday events we do every year. Uh so looking forward to this Fourth of July

[32:09] parade and and uh everything that follows after that and uh you know the

[32:15] summer of family concerts and whatnot. So a couple of u things came up about I

[32:24] just want to make note for maybe the deputy city manager. We didn't get a

[32:28] chat this week. I think I was out of town, but um it came to mind at the

[32:33] brick laying a lot of uh military put their um deployments on there in

[32:42] military lingo and they'll say OAF, OEF, ODS in all these letters that people

[32:49] don't understand. And so during the event, I was interpreting what that

[32:54] meant. And I was thinking that it might be good to have a brick that showed a

[33:00] glossery of some sort to say DS is Desert Storm, OAF, Operation Iraqi

[33:06] Freedom. Um, OEF, you know, and and D was a was after me. So that was in 2010.

[33:14] It was a New Dawn, Operation New Dawn. It was the 20 It was the close out of of

[33:18] Iraq. I was I left in '09. So we handed it off to those guys. But um so it it

[33:25] was kind of interesting that that would help be helpful perhaps and it would

[33:30] just take a brick, you know, so in the top left corner perhaps or something to

[33:34] to distinguish that. So um just want to get that out of the way. Um

[33:40] what else was I going to uh as far as uh participation? Uh they just this

[33:45] afternoon or this evening at five o'clock there was a social networking

[33:49] interactive workshop across the way. I went over to and uh checked in there

[33:54] with the uh Lake Forest Chamber. They the Lake Forest Chamber is very active.

[33:58] Everyone knows they have a lot of events. It's great to attend them. They

[34:02] talked about their Wednesday uh networking at a Pou Loco at 8:00 in

[34:08] the morning. So, I guess they're serving coffee at El Poo Loco. Um

[34:13] usually they don't open till noon, but nonetheless, that's available if

[34:17] everyone's interested in going to a Lake Forest Chamber event. As far as the city

[34:21] events now, the I did attend a couple the um Etnney skate park concept design

[34:27] brief, which was impressive. The uh the the

[34:33] depth and knowledge that these skaters have is is pretty phenomenal. And to uh

[34:40] echo Commissioner Jones's comments that I

[34:44] made had a comment that they would like to draw new Olympic level athletes for a

[34:49] qualifier park. That that was a great I they so you know these guys are coming

[34:54] up with ideas. Um I learned what a pump track versus a cradle was. So there you

[35:01] go in China banks and Venice curve. So bring it. you know, I'm not going to be

[35:07] out there, but I learned that stuff. Um, I did

[35:12] appreciate the weather effects. You know, they getting because I did go out

[35:16] there um right after it rained and they were having to scrape the water out. The

[35:22] gentleman said it took them a couple hours every time it rains to clean the

[35:25] place up. So, that was that was going to be an easy fix. Um, sun blindless, put

[35:30] up some um sun sales or whatever. You know, they had great ideas all around.

[35:35] um to uh improve the park, but it it's uh I'm looking forward to how that comes

[35:41] out as well. But that was a good event. Um also regular at the bingo. Of course,

[35:46] I didn't miss this uh this Thursday, which the mayor noted. I didn't take an

[35:52] attendance over there, but the wasn't there. And I I was missed my son's

[35:58] birthday. We were in Austin. Not a good weekend to go to Austin, by the way. Uh

[36:03] but anyway, I got to Austin and back. So that being said, um yeah, looking

[36:14] forward to the Kavanaaugh park next year. You can lead us uh chair elect and

[36:18] uh get that park built up in a in a wonderful way. Um there was one other

[36:25] little comment now that the and uh see commut city commissioner

[36:33] McGovern. It someone brought it up to me at an event about um the restroom doors

[36:40] at El Toro Park and the park over off of Dylan, which the name

[36:49] town from Veterans. Um what is it? Was it Mountain View? Yeah. Apparently,

[36:56] that's the one where we we had discussed the restroom doors were being ripped off

[37:00] and and damaged and whatnot. And so then some temporary ones were put on without

[37:06] locks and things. So I I started putting a couple things together which may or

[37:11] may not make sense. But now we have security. Would it be possible to

[37:16] readress fixing the things that have been consistently damaged in the past? I

[37:22] know we had to forego that because it was always good. It was just not worth

[37:26] our uh investment. But now I'm foreseeing maybe more security. So that

[37:32] might be a a direction to go. >> Yeah.

[37:34] » Say at the >> Yeah, that's actually part of the reason

[37:36] why we hired security is those restroom doors were

[37:41] just over at So some of the restroom doors are locked. Some of the restroom

[37:44] doors just aren't there anymore. There's like a almost like a shaded fence in

[37:50] front of those doors. All of that is due to the security issues at those

[37:54] properties. So, our hope is that with added security patrols

[38:00] um soon to be a combination of those

[38:03] patrols with camera equipment at those sites, we hope um we are trying to beef

[38:08] up and secure that property so that we can get back to, you know, your regular

[38:13] doors or something that looks more presentable and and and inviting than

[38:18] what's there now, >> right? So, more on that soon, but I I

[38:21] think we do have to kind of secure those properties first and see how things go.

[38:26] The cost of the vandalism at those sites, it was just um it was too high to

[38:33] to keep them open. So, we got to get the security situation a little bit under

[38:38] control over there first and then and then look into

[38:42] to kind of what you're talking about. >> Excellent. Then, that's pretty much what

[38:46] I told him. I said, "We're not there yet. We were just introducing security

[38:50] because we had discussed it and then the process of doing that but uh there were

[38:55] videos and pictures and things and I didn't want those to hit social media

[39:00] without anyone knowing and and to kind of get on the record that yeah we are

[39:03] going forward with the a process and uh yeah security was the

[39:09] first thing because there's no point in continuously fixing these things when

[39:13] they're just going to be broken the next week. So excellent. Um, I'm glad we uh

[39:20] we're all synced up on that and I believe that's all I have. Are there any

[39:35] chair as well. >> Uh first of all um who doesn't get a lot

[39:49] actually chose us the new logo. Thank you for always taking care of us. And a

[39:53] little plug again praising the Lake Forest Chamber of Commerce, Mary

[39:57] Viscante, who was just um I remember I was at she when she came to the first

[40:02] meeting when the city was the Lake Forest Chamber used to be part of the

[40:07] regional chamber of commerce, part of a big group. And I remember when we broke

[40:11] away, there was an ad hoc committee. He was uh council member Tedimer, former

[40:15] assistant city manager David Belmer, former economic development Jessica

[40:19] Gonzalez uh and uh Mr. Late Richard Dixon. Uh we were starting a chamber.

[40:26] Mary showed up at that and she's just taken the ball and run with it and she's

[40:30] just runs now the CEO of the chamber. So it's a little plug. Uh, Tuesday, March

[40:36] 31st is the annual Meet the Mayor, which is one of the chamber's signature

[40:40] events, which not that the other events aren't important, but it's a signature

[40:44] event, and it's on a Tuesday, March 31st, right here at our beautiful

[40:49] U civic center. Uh, the beginning part will be, you know, uh, food and, you

[40:54] know, little greeting hour and then the last, I believe, from 7 to 8, we'll come

[40:59] into here and, uh, Mayor Penyon will do his state of the city with a video. So,

[41:04] uh, get your tickets. They go fast. So, you can go to the Lake Forest, um,

[41:09] Chamber of Commerce website and buy your tickets. It's a really nice evening and

[41:14] really be informed by the mayor of what's going on and hope to see you all

[41:46] son likes to ride a scooter and you guys already talked about it how having

[41:50] scooters also skateboarding and then rollerblading. Having it all kind of
