person
>> recording in progress.
[0:02]
» Right there. She's right there. The new
person,
[0:07]
Smokey. Okay, you're here. Just flip
around. No, you don't.
[0:15]
» Outcast.
>> Um, I call it order.
[0:21]
» Okay, we're gonna call the meeting to
order.
[0:25]
» 5:30. Okay. Reminder, everybody talk
into the mic. Okay. And we're going to
[0:31]
go around and say our name and then
Susan can say hers afterwards.
[0:35]
» Denise Emry,
>> Maryanne Zwag, Heidi Loe,
[0:40]
» uh Barry Duncan,
>> Debb Hansen,
[0:43]
» Julia Kersh,
>> Susan.
[0:48]
» Thank you.
Um, okay. Can I go now? So, a few little
[0:55]
announcements. Um, Yavon Love is with
us. She is going to be joining us as of
[0:59]
September 9th for our next meeting.
She'll be on the committee, but she's
[1:02]
been approved by mayor and council. So,
and Yavon is an associate professor at
[1:08]
Penn State, and she live works up there,
lives down here in Lewis, and she's
[1:12]
going to be a great um addition to the
PAC. And she helped me I've had multiple
[1:18]
lantern making events and Yavon helped
um with this one. And I think this is
[1:23]
going to be kind of how we proceed. So,
we've already done work. Even though
[1:27]
she's not on the committee, I've already
put her to work. [laughter]
[1:31]
I have a way with that. Um, okay. New
meeting info.
[1:36]
Are we okay without team Trina? Yeah,
we're fine. Okay. Um, new meeting info.
[1:43]
This is supposed We have to make sure we
do this. The protocol. So, the protocol
[1:48]
is Everybody pay attention so you can
stop me when I don't do it. A when a mo
[1:53]
motion is made and then the motion is
seconded
[1:58]
there is room for discussion before we
actually have to vote and approve it.
[2:03]
» Okay.
>> So if it's not seconded it fails. So
[2:07]
just so you know there is a moment in
the middle where we can talk and then
[2:10]
possibly make amendments to our original
motion which I guess maybe people are
[2:15]
not doing. So
>> it's a we're now being more strict with
[2:18]
the policies. All the policies are going
to be more strict. So
[2:21]
» policies.
>> Um, okay. Those are my announcements.
[2:26]
Yan is meeting us artist. She's actually
having a show at Hilo Gallery this
[2:32]
winter, too. So, we have all kinds of
things happening.
[2:36]
Um,
approval of
[2:40]
the minutes. Did everybody read your
minutes? They were very long.
[2:45]
Um,
do I make the motion? You call for a
[2:48]
motion.
>> I need a I need a motion. I need to call
[2:50]
for a motion.
>> I move that we approve the minutes as
[2:53]
presented.
>> Second.
[2:55]
» All in favor?
>> I
[2:57]
» I
>> Great.
[3:01]
» I [laughter]
was waiting for the discussion.
[3:05]
» Oh, that's only if we need it.
>> Um, okay. Discussion and possible action
[3:11]
on proposed sites of the 2027 public art
committee tour, bus tour. So, Maryanne,
[3:18]
» yeah, I have done some research.
>> Uh, so I looked into like four places
[3:22]
and I'll start with uh grounds for
sculpture and we did look at that a
[3:27]
while back. Um,
I could go with that one. Oh, yeah.
[3:31]
Grounds for sculpture. So, that um is
it's a very interesting um they call it
[3:38]
a sculpture park. It is a three-hour bus
ride
[3:42]
» and I you would really need a motor
coach for something like that. and that,
[3:46]
you know, we've been through that. That
does cost money, but if that's something
[3:50]
you want to look into, I do have uh
prices for the bus. And they do um for
[3:56]
seniors, it's 17 $17 a person. Uh $125
for 60minute outdoor walking guided tour
[4:05]
fee for 15 people. So, if we have every
groups of 15, it's $125. So, that would
[4:11]
have to be
um booked into that. They don't have per
[4:16]
se a restaurant
um
[4:20]
that would do us a box lunch because
their restaurants are with a hospitality
[4:25]
service, but they have three places to
eat.
[4:27]
» That's right.
>> So, you know, people could do what they
[4:29]
want to do or whatnot. Um and there's a
lot going on there. It's very famous. I
[4:35]
mean, look at some of the samples up
there. I think in a couple years down
[4:39]
the road, maybe this is a trip once we
get our following going. I mean, I think
[4:44]
we could do this. We did a whole coach
going to
[4:46]
» Yeah, I I think it'd be great, you know.
Um,
[4:49]
» it's just a matter of having enough time
to publicize it.
[4:53]
» You need time.
>> Excuse me. Somebody went I want to say
[4:57]
Cape Penelope and Senior Center.
>> Well, no, I think Rahobath Art League
[5:02]
went
>> and that's why remember we talked about
[5:04]
that. But um you know if you do it in
April, you have time uh because they
[5:10]
they need time to book the the the tour
guides in and then you know if you want
[5:15]
to get in there at 10:00 right when it
opens then you would have to leave here
[5:19]
pretty early.
>> Yeah.
[5:20]
» So that's just a thought. Um
then the next one would be the American
[5:27]
Visionary Art Museum. Wait, let's see.
Let's go to the Bigs Museum. That's
[5:31]
probably Oh yeah. Okay. [laughter]
I don't care. I can talk about this one.
[5:36]
All right. This one is not too far away.
It's the Academy of Art in Easton. And
[5:41]
it is,
let me see if I got this one.
[5:48]
They're very nice here. They don't
charge for any um any tours or they
[5:53]
they'll give out I mean, there's no
admission. I mean, you probably could
[5:56]
give them a donation. Uh and it's not so
far. It's an hour and 30 minutes. It's
[6:02]
located in the heart of downtown Easton
and it has um you know places to eat or
[6:08]
we could work out a box lunch. Um I
didn't get back into that but right now
[6:13]
there's a show of Annne Lindberg who is
a multi- multidis disciplinary artist
[6:18]
who works with expanded definitions of
drawing, sculpture and textile and two
[6:23]
and three dimensions and her shows on
through the fall of 2027.
[6:26]
» And is this enough for a day like a
whole day? Uh, well,
[6:32]
» has anybody been there?
>> I haven't been to Eastston, but people
[6:35]
have been and they like it. They walk
around and they do stuff. Um, you know,
[6:40]
it's it's an hour and a half away. So,
you got that. Then you got, you know,
[6:44]
maybe an hour at the museum. I I don't
know if it's a two-hour
[6:48]
type location, you know, and then you
might people walk around and you're
[6:52]
you're out of there by three o'clock,
you know. So, that's that's, you know,
[6:56]
» I mean, East's a nice town.
>> That's that's something. Yvon, have you
[6:59]
been there?
>> She You just come up to the mic and you
[7:02]
just state your name and your address.
>> Yvon Love, 33872 Darlington Street.
[7:08]
» Lewis. Um, I've been to both places. Um,
the Academy of Art Museum is lovely, but
[7:14]
it's tiny.
>> It's really small. It's basic, it's
[7:17]
essentially two rooms
>> um that are smaller than this.
[7:21]
[laughter]
But it's beautiful and it's lovely and
[7:25]
it would be like I kept thinking about
all of your suggestions in terms of um
[7:31]
collaborations
um with the committee and I think they
[7:35]
would be a great collaborator in the
future as you guys are looking towards
[7:39]
um you know moving art around Trenton
Grounds for sculpture um Johnson and
[7:44]
Johnson family. So that's the Seawward
Johnson sculpture you saw on the bench.
[7:49]
Um, I know it because they used to have
a working foundry there for artists and
[7:53]
it was very reasonably priced. Um, but
that that section closed down. That's a
[7:58]
day for sure. Um, and it is mostly local
sculptors from the Bucks County, Hunter
[8:06]
County areas. And again, I was thinking,
oh, you can go shopping a little bit for
[8:11]
the committee. So, I just wanted to
share those. Thank you.
[8:13]
» Oh, thank you. So, then the last one
would be um, which is one of my
[8:17]
favorites. I've been there. I haven't
been in a while, but it's um in
[8:21]
Baltimore, which is another couple hours
drive. Uh I don't know if you'd want to
[8:27]
have a coach on that, but it is a 2h
hour 30 minute drive. And they were very
[8:33]
all these people I talked to in person.
It wasn't just going on their website.
[8:37]
And they have um they can accommodate up
to 60 people and you know they they were
[8:44]
they can do dosent tours. It's all by
volunteers. And they also do their price
[8:50]
for seniors would be $13 a person. And
they actually have an art workshop that
[8:57]
for $10 people could participate in. We
come up with whatever is being shown. So
[9:03]
people could do a hands-on that might be
fun that they get in there, they go
[9:07]
through the museum, they do a workshop,
we have lunch. There's a couple places
[9:12]
close by. or we can do a box carry out
and we can eat in the museum. They do
[9:16]
they don't have a cafeteria. So, that's
an option. Um,
[9:21]
they they gave me a list of places uh
that you can even walk to
[9:26]
» around there. But, uh, you know,
depending on the month, I'm not sure
[9:29]
what's going to be shown. So, it's like
if if there was some of all of these, if
[9:34]
there's something special you really
want to see at that month, then you have
[9:37]
to target that time.
>> But, if we go April, it's whatever is
[9:41]
being shown. Well, and you could it
would be a lot to do in one day, but you
[9:45]
could do this and then do the BMA.
>> Well, that's what I was wondering if
[9:48]
that would be too much of a stretch. Uh,
that's a possibility. I I would do the
[9:52]
lunch before I get there and then spend
the afternoon there. And maybe that's
[9:56]
not a tour. Maybe that's self-guided.
People could go and they do have a cafe
[10:00]
there if somebody wanted to eat
something. So, um, I think it's if if
[10:05]
this is something you want to pursue,
the the public art committee, then
[10:10]
select
you know, think about it. We don't have
[10:13]
to do it tonight. Where you think we
could go?
[10:17]
» And then the bigs is the other option.
>> The bigs was an option, but you know,
[10:21]
the bigs is very much um American art
and it's another one's close by. I don't
[10:27]
know um you know what else we would do
up there. I think I asked them about
[10:31]
lunch and you'd have to go to um Panera
Bread, have a carry out.
[10:36]
» Eggs is shutting down on the 1st of May.
They're taking off the whole backside of
[10:42]
the bigs because they're expanding.
>> Oh, that's interesting.
[10:44]
» So, just keep that in mind
[clears throat] that I don't know how
[10:47]
long they're going to be closed, but
they're they're renovating the museum.
[10:52]
And so,
>> yeah, that might
[10:53]
» I just had an education meeting last
week and I know their programming is
[10:58]
shutting down.
>> Oh, yeah. Cuz I had mentioned to that
[11:02]
because everybody wanted to know when
are you thinking of coming? I said,
[11:04]
well, maybe April. But the person I
spoke to never mentioned any kind of
[11:08]
renovations. But maybe that's not maybe
that should wait for another year. You
[11:13]
want to get caught.
>> Can I um say something about the big
[11:17]
» Sure.
>> Susan um um
[11:20]
» the bigs is lovely. I I get their
newsletters and um they also have
[11:27]
hands-on programs where they bring in
local artists to do some kind of
[11:32]
hands-on project. So if we were to go
there, we might be able to incorporate
[11:37]
that into the day.
>> Yeah, I like that idea. I mean, uh,
[11:43]
American Visionary in Baltimore said,
you know, they could do something and
[11:47]
just come up with what month we're
going, when we're going, coordinate that
[11:52]
with one of the artists in there.
>> So, is there uh one of these places that
[11:57]
people gravitate toward
[12:01]
out of all four? I think we need to
think about it.
[12:04]
» Yeah, I'd love to go to grounds for
sculpture.
[12:07]
» That's what I think, too.
>> I I just am unsure about filling a bus
[12:12]
if
>> we just can't think about that, though.
[12:14]
We have to just do it and then we have
to just promote it. Well, because when
[12:18]
we did our other one, we had a whole
bus. Like, we can do it if we if we
[12:22]
decide tonight and move forward,
>> but we can't do it with this kind. This
[12:27]
is like a great start, but it's not
enough information to actually move
[12:30]
forward on how much it's going to cost,
which place we're going, how long it's
[12:34]
going to be.
>> I mean, so we need to narrow it down and
[12:38]
then actually get that information. And
we need to get it for a big bus and a
[12:42]
small bus
>> and go for the big bus. And if we have
[12:46]
to do the small bus, we go with that.
>> I also need to mention we cannot do
[12:49]
April,
>> okay? because of the it it ran into a
[12:52]
lot of issues with budgeting and where
the money was coming in and when it was
[12:56]
going out and how how it worked.
>> What do you mean we can't do April
[13:00]
because of the budget? Uh
>> because of how a fiscal year falls. I
[13:03]
was asked to if we could do it in either
March or May.
[13:07]
» Well, and also like
>> our program has to be dictated by how
[13:11]
the money flows. That's kind of weird.
[13:17]
» Well, the other thing is we have gone in
money blows.
[13:21]
» We have gone in fall, we've gone in
October, and then we've gone in uh March
[13:27]
and April and May, I think.
>> Well, I think um
[13:33]
also think about if if it's a garden,
think about what those gardens are going
[13:38]
to look like, you know, in in March or
May. Um
[13:45]
» well, in the we went to Calder
>> Mhm. And it was just starting and right
[13:51]
I mean
>> I feel like they just did this trip la
[13:57]
which I think was last spring because I
looked at it for myself. Um it may be
[14:02]
helpful to wait at least a year before
we do it and we maybe have a better
[14:08]
chance of filling a bus at that point.
we should go with the visionary and then
[14:14]
it's not as weather dependent and not as
um
[14:18]
you know we could go in March or go and
>> I think it's a really different type of
[14:25]
museum.
>> It is
[14:26]
» it's all
people are mostly people that have not
[14:31]
had
>> formal training in art. So it's more
[14:35]
that's not good English, but it's it's
more diff it's more different than the
[14:41]
other places that you
>> would normally go.
[14:45]
It's a non-tradition. That's what I'm
trying to say. It's a very
[14:47]
non-traditional
>> museum and and just very different.
[14:52]
» Well, the other thing is that we deal
with outdoor art. So this is all within
[14:57]
a mostly 95% of it's within a space. So
do we want
[15:01]
» some cool outside stuff, too? Do they
have enough?
[15:04]
» But you still get people thinking when
they go in they start thinking, you
[15:09]
know, oh yeah, and they're looking and
they're looking at and maybe there are a
[15:13]
lot of three-dimensional pieces inside,
you know. I mean, I don't know if if
[15:18]
having things outside there is an issue
with security.
[15:23]
» You said they have some
>> I've seen some things,
[15:25]
» but I I you know, um and and then to
complement that would be o going over to
[15:30]
the Baltimore Museum of Art. So, I mean,
I could look into what that would cost
[15:36]
and then you guys take it from there.
But, I mean, I would probably start at
[15:40]
the American Visionary, do that, get the
tour, do your little hands-on thing,
[15:45]
have lunch, and then end up at the
Baltimore. And then
[15:48]
» BMA has a a sculpture garden. Yeah. On
the side.
[15:51]
» Oh, yeah. Yeah. But we can't you can't
take a box lunch in there. They have a
[15:56]
caf a nice cafe because I asked them
about is there a place to eat and they
[16:00]
said, "Well, not really outside, you
know. I mean, we couldn't have 50 people
[16:04]
sitting around eating bag lunches.
>> So,
[16:08]
» I [laughter] thought they had a
restaurant when when I called them
[16:12]
» when the first restaurant
>> they had a restaurant ability, but it
[16:18]
was already booked.
>> Yeah. I I don't know how you would do it
[16:21]
with that many people. You know, they
might It's a lot for 40 people to be
[16:26]
walking into a restaurant.
>> Yeah.
[16:29]
» Um but we could do something at the
Visionary.
[16:31]
» Yeah. We can bring a bag lunch or you
could bring a box lunch like we did
[16:34]
before. That's a a sub place. You could
order like three types of subs, cookie
[16:39]
and water and eat there.
>> They're they're willing to let us eat
[16:42]
inside.
>> So
[16:45]
So do we want to go with that one as
like taking it down the road a little
[16:49]
further?
[16:53]
» I mean,
>> I kind of feel like that would be the
[16:55]
most attractive to people.
>> It's something different.
[16:58]
» It's just my opinion. I I I I uh the
thought of a three-hour bike uh bus ride
[17:05]
even to me
>> I don't want to do that on a little bus.
[17:09]
I'm sorry.
>> Well, [laughter] even if it's a big bus,
[17:12]
you're sitting for
>> Yeah.
[17:14]
» 3 hours. And I mean, I know Baltimore is
two and a half, but
[17:18]
» yeah, it makes a difference.
>> Okay. So, if we do the Baltimore two one
[17:25]
stop, two stops, we need the price for
the big bus and the small bus, right?
[17:29]
» We need food options and then the price
to get in both of the museums.
[17:34]
» All right. And then you want to package
it with the activity for $10 a person.
[17:39]
» Um,
>> why don't we start with that and then if
[17:43]
we decide later not to, we can we can
take it off.
[17:48]
Okay. I I mean it might be too much to
try to do the Visionary Art Museum and
[17:52]
BMA. BMA could be
>> because people want to go in there and
[17:56]
spend a couple hours. I mean, you're not
going to just do a flyby,
[18:00]
» right? So, there might be another
smaller museum or something.
[18:04]
» Museum.
>> Walters.
[18:06]
» Oh, Walters.
>> Walter. That's That's huge, too.
[18:09]
» It is.
>> Yeah. It's pretty big.
[18:11]
» Part of it then.
>> Yeah. Um
[18:13]
» I wonder if we could go to Goucher
College. I think they have a huge um
[18:18]
very um I don't know what the right word
is. Edgy art department there.
[18:26]
» They do. But do do they have a museum
there?
[18:28]
» I don't think so.
>> I don't know. It just might
[18:33]
more aligned with the visionary art. I
think if we did some maybe some research
[18:39]
there may be some
smaller
[18:42]
» well and Paul I don't know how he's
doing but [clears throat] he also
[18:45]
invited us to his studio right
>> Paul Daniel
[18:48]
» I'm looking at um the website for the
Maryland Center for History and Culture
[18:52]
and it and I've been in the museum um
it's it's it's not the visionary but it
[18:59]
it it does have fine art in the
collection Um,
[19:07]
it's the oldest cultural institution in
Maryland, founded in 1844.
[19:13]
Um,
so there's another option for Baltimore.
[19:18]
» How far is it from um, American
Visionary?
[19:22]
A bus ride
>> that I don't know
[19:24]
» cuz see that you know when you start
doing buses stop to stop Yeah. Right.
[19:29]
» cost extra money. But I know and we we
have a guest tonight that was on the
[19:33]
museum or on that last bus tour, but a
lot of the feedback we had was that they
[19:39]
liked the fact that we went to two
different locations and it was almost
[19:43]
contrasting and comparing two very
different experiences. And so I I think
[19:48]
there's some value in that.
>> Is the BMA walkable to the visionary?
[19:54]
» No.
>> No, that's way on the other side. this
[19:59]
one. Where's this one? I don't
[clears throat] know Baltimore that
[20:02]
well, but um
>> you you got to take the bus in.
[20:09]
» So, why don't we start with the
visionary? And the visionary has a lot
[20:13]
to look at.
>> Park Avenue, whatever Park Avenue is.
[20:16]
» Yeah, it's it's way around on the other
side.
[20:19]
» Um well, I can actually I can look at
what it would take to get into the
[20:24]
Baltimore Art Museum. And I mean, it
depends. What time do you want to leave?
[20:28]
you want to get up there at 10:00 when
one opens, you know, do your thing, have
[20:32]
lunch.
>> We did last time
[20:33]
» project and then head over to the other
one. Um cuz that will uh you probably
[20:39]
want to get out of there at least 4:00,
4 to 5, 5 to 6. So you you know
[20:48]
» Baltimore has [laughter] something
called graffiti alley
[20:53]
» uh that features
uh vivid street art and murals by local
[20:58]
and visiting artists.
>> Really cool to do.
[21:02]
» Where is that located? Because there was
something next to the American Visionary
[21:06]
but I think it closed. There was a
building that had um
[21:12]
artist work in there. There was
something they had, but I didn't see any
[21:15]
hours or anything on it.
>> I trying to find
[21:21]
when we talk to the people of Visionary,
>> maybe have some ideas.
[21:27]
» That's a good idea. Yeah, I can ask
them. They're they're very um receptive.
[21:31]
So, would you um put together the budget
for this to actually be able to do it
[21:37]
and then we can um
Is there a time? Is there a time of year
[21:43]
that is less busy than other times of
year for you?
[21:47]
» No, it's just April is is the it's the
transition period. So, it's very
[21:51]
difficult to
>> go back and forth.
[21:52]
» Yes.
>> So, like March or
[21:55]
» Yes.
>> But I would still like to keep it so
[21:59]
that it's not overpriced for people, you
know? I mean, when you when you start
[22:03]
going from here to there or there and
you know the bus has got to go here and
[22:06]
entrance fees,
>> you got to look at are we going to price
[22:10]
most people out of this? I mean,
anything over, you know, $200 to go on a
[22:15]
trip, I don't know. You get a box lunch.
I mean, you got to think about
[22:18]
» Absolutely. We are. And the thing is
that we only charge for what we charge.
[22:22]
I didn't charge anything $1 more than
what we cost last time. So, we don't
[22:26]
overcharge. We just charge what it
costs. So, we can think about that in
[22:30]
our doing it. But, it costs a lot of
money these days. Well, the the the
[22:34]
other thing is since they're letting at
the American Visionary, um they're
[22:38]
receptive to us eating there, people
could bring their own bag lunch. I mean,
[22:42]
if they want to don't want to sub
because the sub shop's like right down
[22:46]
the street, you know.
>> And I mean, some people want a more
[22:50]
elevated experience, like they would
rather pay $25 more and have a nice
[22:56]
lunch so they could go somewhere else,
you know? So, there's I think that we
[23:00]
shouldn't
>> tell people
[23:05]
Well, that the only thing is there are
restaurants, but when people start going
[23:10]
this way and that way and unless you say
to them, "We need to be back at the bus
[23:15]
at 1:00."
>> Well, that's what we say to them.
[23:17]
» You have to because otherwise they're
going to be sitting down to dinner, you
[23:20]
know, and it's they're waiting on the
check and whatnot. So,
[23:24]
» so I think let's go forward with the
visionary since that one seems to be the
[23:28]
most interesting.
>> Go ahead.
[23:31]
One other thought, uh, Micah is right
there and they I'm sure they have
[23:35]
galleries and
>> some interesting buildings.
[23:39]
» Maryland Institute.
>> The Maryland Institute College of Art.
[23:42]
It's one of the top three art schools in
the country. I believe
[23:45]
» that would be it'd be great.
>> So, what type of what month would you
[23:49]
think about going on here?
>> I would go at the end of March.
[23:52]
» End of March.
>> Well, we got to look at holidays and
[23:55]
what's coming up.
>> Or May, maybe.
[23:57]
» Yeah.
>> I kind of like May. I like too.
[24:00]
» I like May.
>> May it is.
[24:02]
» But, you know, we got to find out from
the city. We don't want to be like if
[24:06]
something big's going to happen, we
don't want to be taken off.
[24:10]
» Well, we just have to
>> I'll check in.
[24:13]
» I can check the calendar.
>> Okay.
[24:15]
» Okay.
>> And are will you do a budget to
[24:21]
» like not to fill the bus, but to fill it
maybe 80?
[24:25]
» Yeah. I mean, I could give I mean, don't
don't price it based on 100% of the bus
[24:33]
filled.
>> We
[24:36]
price it on 75% because
>> well, and also uh I want someone to
[24:41]
double check me to be determined because
sometimes my math is not so good. So, I
[24:46]
don't want you to say, "Oh, well, she
said it was this amount."
[24:48]
» Well, then just write per person what it
would, you know, like or if we have 45
[24:53]
people and this is the amount it is.
Yeah, you can send it to me. I will I do
[24:56]
lots of math every day.
>> Yeah. Okay. Well, that that
[24:58]
» I'm a math girl. Who knew?
>> Thank you. That's that's that'll help
[25:02]
me. But um All right. So,
>> so move forward with the visionary.
[25:06]
We're thinking May and we're going to do
a budget so to see what we have to
[25:10]
charge per person.
>> Okay.
[25:13]
» Is there any other comments about this
trip?
[25:19]
» Awesome. Thank you for bringing some
options.
[25:22]
And are we on point here? Okay. check.
Um discussion and possible action
[25:27]
regarding lantern Lewis lantern
festival. So I did a little budget for
[25:33]
that. Um
the objective is to bring the community.
[25:38]
So at our workshop we decided we wanted
to do a festival or an event. What we
[25:44]
sused out was a lantern festival.
Um, and our objective, and please stop
[25:50]
me if any of this is not jing, but
objective to bring the community
[25:55]
together around art.
So,
[25:59]
we're going to have people making art.
We're going to have carrying art. We're
[26:02]
going to have people experiencing art.
Um, each participant, and I was thinking
[26:06]
a hundred max to create a lantern on
their own or in one of the four four to
[26:12]
five classes that we'll offer. We were
hoping to offer the classes in here. Um,
[26:17]
we want them to be interesting but low
tech.
[26:21]
[cough]
Over one weekend, we will teach four to
[26:24]
five paper lantern making classes for
kids and adults.
[26:29]
Um, we can use paper to embellish the
lantern. Each person can make their own
[26:34]
special piece. We will teach different
types of paper tearing, cutting,
[26:38]
folding, curling, and connecting to
there's the the center one is just an a
[26:44]
lantern without anything. And then these
are options that you could do to create.
[26:50]
» So you start with that.
>> You start with that. Yes. I did a whole
[26:53]
thing with my family which was making
the reads and putting paper. Yeah.
[26:58]
That's not going to happen in three
hours. [laughter]
[27:01]
I mean, I have a family who all went to
art school and wow, it was a lot. And
[27:06]
that was a a six-year-old, a
14-year-old, and then my brother and I.
[27:10]
So, I was like, "Oh my god."
>> So, we're starting with commercial
[27:13]
lanterns and then it's embellishment of
commercial lanterns. How expensive are
[27:18]
those lanterns?
>> Um, well, I have a budget here. For 120
[27:22]
lanterns, it's $130.
>> It's what?
[27:25]
» For 120 lanterns, it's $130. Okay. So
that's like I mean we can do it and they
[27:31]
get to pick their size. They get to pick
whether they want cream color.
[27:35]
[clears throat]
So it's pretty cheap. And then um the
[27:40]
culmination of these classes will be a
parade of the lanterns. I was thinking
[27:45]
on the 21st, but we might change that um
at 6 p.m. So we could walk through town
[27:49]
and end at the Canal Front Park and like
make a circle or something.
[27:53]
» It's a solstice.
>> It is the solstice, but we we have to
[27:56]
talk about that. Um, so each person
would bring their lantern, we'd walk
[28:00]
through town, end up in Canalfront Park,
and I already talked to Maria Deorest,
[28:04]
and she would do photography of it. So
that would be super cool.
[28:07]
» We'll likely need police support if
we're unless we're walking on the
[28:10]
sidewalks.
>> I was thinking sidewalks, but if we go
[28:13]
down the street, that's more fun.
>> All right, that that might take a little
[28:17]
bit more coordination, but we can talk
about that.
[28:19]
» Yeah, we can. I mean, sidewalks is fine.
Um, do we want to do anything at the end
[28:25]
like once you come through? And I'm
thinking these might want to be like
[28:28]
like you have a stick or you have like a
flag pole or something and we all walk
[28:32]
through them.
>> I um I was thinking make a circle, but I
[28:38]
don't know if there's something else
some other culmination we want.
[28:40]
» What is the What would be the resting
stopping place of the lanterns? They
[28:44]
just go home with the people or we hang
them up? I mean, I was thinking they'd
[28:48]
go home with the people and they could
put them outside their house for
[28:50]
Christmas or holiday.
>> Well, we need a Stonehenge. Like, where
[28:54]
are we going to get Stonehenge? And but
what do we have around here that could
[28:59]
be the same idea of what what would be a
solstice a solstice activity? How would
[29:06]
people um celebrate the shortest night
of the year?
[29:12]
» Um
light. Making light.
[29:15]
» What? by making lights.
>> Yeah, right. By making lights. But what
[29:19]
what would they where would they be
gathering? You know, what would what
[29:22]
would be happening? So,
>> yeah, that's what I was thinking like we
[29:25]
all make a circle or something. But I
thought the imagery would be so
[29:28]
beautiful.
>> Oh, it would be beautiful. And having
[29:30]
them condensed together would be lovely.
>> And how long does the light last for the
[29:35]
puck light inside? Is that 3 hours?
>> Something like that,
[29:39]
» I think. So,
>> they can probably last even longer than
[29:41]
that.
>> Yeah. I mean,
[29:42]
» probably with those little disc
batteries, right?
[29:44]
» Oh, yeah. I I looked at the ones with
batteries cuz I was like, I'm not doing
[29:48]
this plugin thing cuz
>> I can't imagine where we would plug them
[29:52]
all in to get them ready.
>> Where are we storing them? Between
[29:55]
classes.
>> Oh, they have to take them home with
[29:57]
them.
>> Between classes.
[30:00]
» Oh, yeah. Okay. Like I'm not in control
of your So yeah, we might have to have
[30:05]
some plastic bags or something so people
can Yes.
[30:10]
» Yvon and I
>> my name again.
[30:11]
» Yes. Yvon Love 33872 Darlington Street.
I think you you're asking you're
[30:17]
thinking that people are going to
multiple classes. They're only attending
[30:20]
one.
>> Okay.
[30:21]
» Yeah. Just one two to three hour class.
Thanks.
[30:23]
» Yeah. So, yeah. No, not four to five.
They have to come.
[30:26]
» I thought it was a class.
>> I thought one class per person would be
[30:30]
better than doing mult because we could
do the other thing we No, it's not going
[30:33]
to happen. Um let's see. No. Um what
would we need? We need two and a half
[30:39]
hours each class. I was thinking that
they could happen Saturday, two of them.
[30:42]
Sunday, two of them if we needed another
one Monday, but um and then we'd need
[30:47]
volunteers to help, you know, people
glue and whatever. Um so everything we
[30:53]
would need besides scissors, which I
have a bunch of and people could bring
[30:57]
their own, and the stick thing
would be $578, $600.
[31:05]
So it's like $6 a person, which I think
is pretty miraculous. quite honestly.
[31:11]
And so if we charge $10 a person, which
I think is freaking generous,
[31:16]
» I can't see the first one.
>> So, may I ask a question?
[31:20]
» Yes.
>> So, the
[31:24]
decorations that you have on on it is
does that come with it or is that part
[31:29]
of the purchase?
>> Yeah, that's
[31:31]
» Well, no, they have to they're the ones
decorating it. So, what you
[31:34]
» say again?
[31:38]
So you get this in any size and then you
can add something simple if you wanted.
[31:45]
» So how do they do they bring the simple?
You add you add stuff.
[31:50]
» I'm bringing all the paper.
>> Okay. That's where I'm getting to.
[31:53]
» So that's for everything for them. Have
a light except for maybe an accessory to
[31:58]
hold it which they can decide if they
want to just hold it like this.
[32:01]
» Okay. Um, but yeah, you could we'll have
paper for them like, you know, this is
[32:06]
just different weights of paper,
you know, and you can be as crazy or as
[32:12]
not crazy as you want, you know. That's
fun.
[32:16]
» What's the light in there?
>> It's a puck light.
[32:19]
» A what light?
>> A puck light.
[32:21]
» I don't even know what that is.
>> It's just got a little switch, right, to
[32:25]
turn it on and off.
>> Oh, okay.
[32:27]
» You might have one in a closet. Right.
>> Well, I have a question. Would there be
[32:32]
any place in the city, like down by the
canal, that we could hang these up if
[32:36]
people just wanted to hang them up
overnight?
[32:39]
» Well, if it rained, they'd be bye-bye.
>> Well, [laughter]
[32:42]
» but you know, well,
>> I would love people to hang them outside
[32:46]
their house and on their porches and
then you go through town and you see
[32:49]
what people made.
But
[32:52]
» yeah,
>> we could suggest that like everybody
[32:54]
hanging on their
>> When is when is and if it is going to
[33:01]
occur the the the
Christmas lights tour.
[33:07]
» I don't have a permit for that yet. So I
don't know the date.
[33:09]
» Okay. I was
>> and Okay. So this is the main
[33:12]
» bike ride. Oh no, the Christmas tour.
That's not through the city.
[33:17]
Oh, I was I was thinking maybe that kind
of can coincide with the the Christmas
[33:26]
» uh the house tour.
>> No.
[33:28]
» Oh, the lights the that starts like um
Thanksgiving weekend and then it goes
[33:32]
through Christmas.
>> So, we could put it out there.
[33:36]
» Yeah, we could say on this date there.
Okay. So, Julia said that maybe December
[33:44]
is too crazy. What do we think about
that?
[33:47]
» Just that date, the 21st. It's a week of
Christmas.
[33:50]
» I just And we also have a parks and
wreck meeting that night, which I'm
[33:54]
hoping we might not. Um,
>> you cancel it.
[33:58]
» Yeah. [laughter]
>> But what I'm saying is that I just I'm
[34:00]
concerned about it being so close to
Christmas.
[34:04]
» Yeah, that is a concern. So, what would
happen if we um utilize these what
[34:11]
whenever they're being made
for um for the new year like at the
[34:19]
overfalls and that night where you bring
your pots and pans and you bring your
[34:24]
lantern and you that we have a cluster
of all of these. So, it would be another
[34:29]
time they're used to bring your
lanterns, too. I just feel like so many
[34:34]
people are away that week
>> from a lot of people have plans for New
[34:40]
Year's. Although it sounds like a great
idea, I'm not sure the participation
[34:47]
would be as great.
>> I'm not sure what I'm saying.
[34:50]
» So, let me ask this question.
New Year's or New Year's Eve, there is
[34:57]
the dropping of the right
>> the ball or whatever anchor
[35:02]
» and
isn't there quite a few people that are
[35:06]
there?
>> People.
[35:07]
» Yeah, it's not like people are away.
It's people are
[35:11]
» I'm just saying people have plans
>> for New Year's
[35:16]
» and I'm not sure that they're going to
>> make their plans to be in a lantern.
[35:23]
I like the excuse me I I this is very
greedy of me but I like the idea of us
[35:31]
doing it alone for us and
I'm I like the idea of the solstice but
[35:40]
I'm not super committed to it. I think
if we picked a date like December 10th
[35:45]
or 12th it's far enough ahead of
Christmas
[35:49]
and we could still make a statement. But
I I just think if we did something on
[35:55]
New Year's or part of the It It dilutes
what we're trying to do.
[36:02]
» What about the Christmas parade through
town?
[36:04]
» No, no, no, no.
>> Okay. You don't want it to be a part of
[36:08]
» No, it's not. It's not our special
event. I understand what you're saying.
[36:12]
» Hold on. Susan's talking.
>> Oh, I I I have to say I I agree with
[36:17]
Denise. I I like the idea of doing it
earlier in December so it becomes pack
[36:25]
focused but then we give people all
these opportunities of where they can
[36:31]
participate in what's going on in the
town in December. So, the idea would be
[36:38]
people will put it on their porch or in
their window uh to display and then if
[36:44]
they want to take it into the parade or
the New Year's or the solstice or
[36:48]
whatever, they can they can use it for
those purposes and have multiple places
[36:54]
to take it.
[36:57]
I guess I'm kind of hung up on the moon,
but maybe I should get over it.
[37:02]
[laughter] Um I don't know. I just think
that the idea of like it happening
[37:08]
with the solstice is kind of
>> Yeah,
[37:11]
» there's a point to that. Yes.
>> Yeah.
[37:14]
» Um
[37:17]
» Ivon Love 33872 Darlington. I'm
remembering the rules. Um I would just
[37:23]
echo that. I think that it preeds the
holidays and it's also
[37:28]
non-denominational and I think that that
the idea of a gathering for the
[37:33]
community that um is about is about the
shift in light and the change of the
[37:38]
season is very different than a the some
of the established holidays. Um, and I
[37:44]
also think because it's far enough in
front of Christmas, it doesn't smoosh
[37:49]
into it and actually might be exciting
to kind of kick off the holiday season.
[37:53]
» Yeah. And it is when everybody kind of
has off like schools and teachers start
[37:57]
having off so they could actually
participate.
[38:00]
» You mean on the 21st?
>> Yeah. They have off that week usually,
[38:05]
right? I'm I'm pretty sure that this
year.
[38:07]
» No, the original idea had been part of
the solstice.
[38:10]
» Yeah. celebrate the soul.
>> Christmas Eve is the 24th on Thursday.
[38:15]
Christmas this year is
>> I mean it's insane to put something on
[38:18]
that week. I agree.
>> Also, Heidi is um you know there's going
[38:23]
to be some people that take these home
and we're never going to see them again.
[38:26]
» Yeah, that's what
>> So they won't I know but they won't come
[38:28]
back for the second part to finish the
finale. I mean there are people going to
[38:32]
go home and say I'm done with it. You
know
[38:35]
» I mean but I I have zero cares about
that. If they what they did was come
[38:38]
with the process. Great. If what they
did was come with the parade and they
[38:42]
made their thing at home, great. If what
they did was made one at home and didn't
[38:47]
ever bring it to us, all good outcomes.
Every one of those outcomes I give us a
[38:52]
10 out of 10 because someone
participated in our participated in some
[38:56]
of our thing and was inspired by us. We
are winning.
[38:59]
» And is it possible like when they come
in, we could maybe have them sign in and
[39:03]
give their email address
>> or if they um
[39:06]
» when they sign up and that way we can do
a follow-up. Okay, today tonight we're
[39:11]
meeting down at somewhere. Bring your
lantern. Blah blah blah.
[39:14]
» We could have a thing as a reminder.
>> Definitely. Definitely.
[39:17]
» Yeah. And um so how against the 21st are
you?
[39:22]
» It's not me. It's totally up to whatever
you guys want to do.
[39:25]
» Are you sure?
>> Yeah.
[39:26]
» Um and we did Can we reserve the this
room for two days?
[39:30]
» Which days?
>> The two days before the 19th and the
[39:33]
20th. Saturday and Sunday.
>> That I will have to check on.
[39:36]
» Okay. I know Sunday we reserved it.
Yeah, I talked to you about this
[39:42]
» Sunday.
>> You promised.
[39:44]
» So, see if we can do Saturday and
Sunday. And we would do just like tables
[39:48]
and then chairs around and we would put
stuff over the tables so they'd be nice
[39:52]
and protected so we are not being messy.
Haha. Yes, we are. Um, and then we'll
[39:56]
have glue guns and glue and we'll help
people out. And Yavon and her husband
[40:02]
Dave said they would do some. I don't
know if Deb wants to do some. I could do
[40:05]
some.
>> Oh, yeah. Yeah,
[40:08]
» Ivon love 33872 Darlington.
>> I when we talked about it, I didn't
[40:13]
realize that the kids were off from
school on Monday
[40:16]
» and so that's why I had suggested
Saturday. Yeah.
[40:19]
» So I
>> Oh, you think Sunday and Monday could
[40:21]
actually
>> during the day. I just think that the
[40:24]
that I think that the the tight schedule
um creates an energy and especially
[40:29]
people making that day will be really
excited to come out that night.
[40:32]
» Okay.
>> What about Friday? What if we did Friday
[40:35]
and Saturday before Christmas?
>> Uh, well, I feel like that's where
[40:40]
Christmas parties happen and all those
things. So, I feel like sat sat Sunday
[40:44]
and Monday um are actually
>> like not as used days and and I mean,
[40:51]
» you know, like this is the last thing I
want to do as an elf. Like I am full elf
[40:56]
mode. So, like I am fully going outside
of what is sanity in my world to teach
[41:02]
two classes and then be in a parade. But
I know that we talked about the lantern
[41:06]
parade and I am obviously committed to
it. So, if we want to do it, I am 100%
[41:11]
committed to this lantern idea. We just
need to make it happen. And I think it
[41:16]
could be super cool if we all walk
through town with this light lighting
[41:20]
and everybody can do it. It does not
matter if you are a beginning, middle,
[41:23]
end, artist, never done anything in the
their life.
[41:27]
We are here and it doesn't matter if it
looks it doesn't matter. We want it to
[41:33]
actually the process is the point.
>> What if we involved correct art and
[41:39]
bloom and Lewis and Bloom
>> I mean I think we need to get to them
[41:44]
early to publicize it among their
membership. Yes, we are. Absolutely.
[41:49]
» You're not planting flowers then.
>> I know that. But they didn't they didn't
[41:54]
share the information about our our
>> Well, a lot of organizations will not
[42:00]
share or any information from other
organizations because they're
[42:03]
gatekeeping, but that is not always
true. So, we could Yes, I think they
[42:09]
some organizations say they won't.
>> I think that's silly.
[42:11]
» I agree. But if there are collaborators
on projects as far as I'm concerned
[42:18]
» and also I do think that they would be
interested in it and I think that they
[42:21]
would want to participate in it. So
hopefully they would share all of the
[42:24]
information and it will be in the paper
and it will be
[42:27]
» and I think we could easily get a 100
people excited about this.
[42:31]
» I don't think it would be a problem at
all.
[42:33]
» I think it the problem would be holding
people back and Okay. How does everybody
[42:37]
feel about $10?
>> That's good. That's a good price. I
[42:40]
mean, I don't think you can do anything
for less than $10.
[42:43]
And we could have like
10 schol uh 10 scholarships if people
[42:50]
say call and say they can't 10
scholarships available or something.
[42:55]
» Heidi, when you advertise, will you have
a couple samples of your lantern so
[42:58]
people get
>> get an idea what
[43:01]
» Yeah, we can take pictures of those. I'm
not making any more lanterns before now
[43:05]
and Christmas, just so you all know.
Um, okay. So, and there would be a
[43:13]
charge for the photographer most likely,
too. Um, so that would probably be in
[43:18]
the $10, but we have $4.
>> Are all the lanterns going to be the
[43:21]
same size or they got big and small?
>> Different sizes, so people
[43:24]
[clears throat] can choose. And I And
there'll be a few extra if somebody like
[43:27]
decides they want to do two or whatever.
>> What about colors?
[43:31]
» No.
>> No. All white. All white. Okay. Well, I
[43:34]
just think that would be a gorgeous
image, you know, at in night time.
[43:39]
» Oh, just curious.
>> Yeah, off-white and white. [laughter]
[43:44]
» We have a a range of
>> better, too.
[43:47]
» And when you illuminate them, you can
see different. It comes out differently,
[43:51]
» different shades, the light. Yeah.
>> Okay. So, Julia, are you going to see
[43:57]
those dates through for me? See if you
can email those. Um, yeah. Yes. Thank
[44:02]
you so much.
We will make it as painfree as possible.
[44:06]
Um,
and okay, now we are on to
[44:10]
» You're thinking these workshops are
2hour, threehour workshops.
[44:16]
» Um, I said two and a half.
>> Okay.
[44:20]
» Yes. Come to the the front.
>> Mary Linda knows the protocol
[44:29]
and I hope everybody will participate in
the lanterns.
[44:32]
» Mhm. Mary Linda Maddie, 510 Railroad
Avenue, Lewis. Um, I I think the sticks
[44:38]
might be a problem. I mean, you have to
worry about people running into each
[44:43]
other and if you have kids
>> beating other children with [laughter]
[44:46]
them.
>> Just a cons a safety consideration
[44:50]
because I think you can hold them like
this without a stick, right? Just hold
[44:54]
because they're light enough.
>> Yes, you could. I mean, some people
[44:57]
might bring them, but maybe won't
promote it that way. But I would just
[45:01]
say think about sticks.
>> Yeah.
[45:03]
» Okay.
>> Okay. Thank you.
[45:06]
» I love that.
>> Thanks.
[45:10]
» So it'll either be Saturday, Sunday, or
Sunday, Monday.
[45:14]
And we can do
>> And then what day is
[45:17]
» the 21st? It's a Monday.
>> I'll be happy to help you.
[45:20]
» I can help.
>> Awesome.
[45:22]
» If we if we're able to do Monday that I
mean you you could schedule the
[45:27]
workshops. So one is an evening and one
is a day.
[45:31]
» We can't do evening. We have p We have
>> parks and wreck here.
[45:35]
» Yes.
>> And what time does that start?
[45:37]
» 51st.
>> So we could do till like 3.
[45:42]
» Okay.
>> Yeah.
[45:46]
» So maybe Saturday, Sunday would be
better if we're not if we're jamming up
[45:49]
with something. Would you look at all
three of those and tell me which is
[45:52]
better? Thank you very much. Okay. So,
we're all excited about Lantern
[45:57]
Festival. That's going to be so fun. And
also, how will we get to pay?
[46:03]
I know. It's so fun.
>> We can set it up on um Civic Plus.
[46:08]
» Okay. I have another question. When
should we start promoting this?
[46:12]
» Immediately.
>> Oh, I love that answer. Thank you.
[46:17]
» Okay. Yes. So,
>> September one.
[46:20]
» Wait until you get the dates from me.
I'll check the dates. Okay. But then,
[46:23]
yes. Okay.
Perfect. The next thing we have on the
[46:28]
agenda is Oops, sorry. Um,
we're we are in the process of putting
[46:35]
up a a mural on the outside of this
building.
[46:40]
The concept sketch is
well, this is a pretty confirmed concept
[46:46]
sketch
[46:49]
because he's done multiple. So we're at
the stage of
[46:55]
actually that's not but pretty close. Um
so this is happening.
[47:00]
We are funding a third of it along with
Lewis and Bloom and um the trains
[47:09]
David and I don't know Lewis Junction
Bridge and Railroad Association.
[47:13]
» How are we supposed to remember that?
Um, so and Michael Rossado, who did the
[47:18]
mural on this side, is also going to do
the mural on this side. He is such a
[47:22]
professional. He's amazing. Um, he's
very excited about it. And it will
[47:27]
probably be end of October, install,
beginning of November. So, right around
[47:32]
end of end of October, beginning of
November.
[47:35]
» So, that's fun. And we have done our
part, so we can check that right off the
[47:41]
list.
Um, so there's nothing really to talk
[47:44]
about with that. It's already in the
works. He's got his down payment and
[47:49]
we're moving forward.
>> So that's cool that this is going to
[47:52]
also be another 250 celebration within
the calendar year that it goes up out
[47:58]
here. That's cool. That's very cool.
>> We should probably do some type of
[48:02]
opening or something.
Um,
[48:07]
» you c you can also make sure it's added
to the lowest 250
[48:13]
» um.com website so that
>> we can get as much
[48:18]
» um participation in
>> you know
[48:23]
as possible
>> when we're going to get it. Um, oh, and
[48:28]
our last thing is,
do we like this timing for our meeting?
[48:34]
So, Susan is the one person who said
that the other time would absolutely not
[48:37]
work. Is there do we want to just keep
this time because it works? Uh, for me
[48:42]
right now, I'm going to have to keep the
time because I'm going to be
[48:45]
volunteering uh mentoring at the high
school
[48:48]
» and I haven't got my time yet and it
could be a morning. It's usually during
[48:52]
their advisory and I don't know the date
or the times and I'll know in October
[48:57]
probably the second week.
>> Is everybody still okay with this time?
[49:01]
» You're okay with this one. You like
morning better and then I think steeped
[49:06]
it. Well, we'll keep this for now and
then we can keep talking about if we
[49:09]
want to change it. Um and then next um
>> sailing on Wednesday nights anymore.
[49:14]
» You're not.
>> Um
[49:16]
» too many complex.
>> Too many what?
[49:19]
» I said too many complex. Sorry. Um, so
the next meeting we will discuss posies
[49:26]
and
then we'll do the bus
[49:29]
» update on the update on the art bus trip
>> and the lantern festival. And is there
[49:34]
anything else that we
>> Well, I got something on the agenda in
[49:37]
the very beginning. It was um a link if
you look uh to the visionary world of
[49:44]
imagination.
And this is a free um program sponsored
[49:50]
by the American
uh visionary art museum. And this guy,
[49:55]
the artist does a lot of funky things.
And they're going to talk about his
[49:59]
work. Uh Mr. Gregory Warmarmac. He's
self-taught visionary and he's Mr.
[50:06]
Imagination, renown for
transformingforming
[50:10]
the junk and trash of everyday life into
intricate sculptures and furniture.
[50:16]
So, if anybody can sign up for that,
maybe we could post it on our website
[50:20]
and it's, you know, kind of goes along
with the idea of a visit to the American
[50:26]
Visionary Art Museum.
>> That'd be great.
[50:29]
» Um,
and a lot of our artwork over the years
[50:33]
has been from upcycled work, so it kind
of fits in with our
[50:37]
» nonprofit. Certainly.
>> Yeah. Okay. So,
[50:43]
when is our next meeting? just so I can
say it out loud. And September,
[50:51]
» when's our next meeting?
>> The 23rd.
[50:54]
» 23rd.
>> Okay. September 23rd at 5:30.
[50:58]
» September 23rd.
>> Okay. Um I Anybody for public comment?
[51:06]
Anything? Susan, since you're on the
web, I feel like we forget you.
[51:11]
» Oh. Uh is is the um
is the art outside is that the final
[51:21]
version of the um Brazada artwork?
>> Um no, there are a few changes since
[51:28]
then. Um,
>> I guess my only comment is that
[51:34]
» since this display
attracts so many children,
[51:39]
it might be nice to think about having
more than one tiny child in that's in
[51:46]
the background.
>> Um, I think we have made sure there's at
[51:50]
least one child, but we really couldn't
fit more than that. There is a little
[51:54]
bit more going on in the final one. And
there is a a cow mover skirt on the
[52:01]
train,
>> which is not my favorite thing to think
[52:04]
about, but
>> cow catcher.
[52:05]
» Cow catcher.
>> Cow catcher. Yeah.
[52:06]
» Yeah. But I um Yeah. I don't think we
can go back and add much to this cuz he
[52:12]
has come down and met with
[52:16]
those breakwater train people. Um
so sorry Susan,
[52:23]
but we do have one.
>> It was just a stop. I'd like to
[52:27]
» Yeah. And um and we do have Lewis a
little bit more prominently in the final
[52:33]
sketch. So that is um that's good too.
We have a a sign that says Lewis. So
[52:40]
okay. Um I would like to um call for
motion to adjurnn.
[52:48]
» So moved.
>> I move that we adjourn.
[52:51]
» I second.
>> All in favor? Hi
[52:56]
» thank
