for August 10th, 2026.

Uh we are all remote except myself. I'm

in the Council

uh

studies room. Uh I'll call the special
[0:17]
Council meeting to order. All Council
[0:19]
members are present.
[0:22]
Item 1A is a resolution canvassing and
[0:24]
declaring the adopting the results of
[0:27]
the primary election held on July 21st,
[0:30]
2026.
[0:31]
I want to congratulate Vice Mayor
[0:33]
Summers and Nick Willis on their
[0:35]
elections.
[0:36]
And in District 5, the top two will be
[0:38]
moving forward.
[0:40]
And congratulations to Council member
[0:42]
Goforth to moving forward into the
[0:44]
general election in November.
[0:48]
With that, Ms. Mosley, do we have any

a resolution approving and authorizing

the city manager to enter into a
[1:55]
development agreement, government
[1:57]
property improvement lease, and all and
[1:59]
other deal documents to facilitate
[2:02]
the development of the AC Hotel by
[2:05]
Marriott.
[2:06]
