[4:50] providing for wages and benefits for the city of St. Mary's supervisory personnel

[4:59] » Yes. Um Kim Ryer is our current network administrator, and he submitted his

[5:04] retirement notice on July 22nd for retirement date of August 31st.

[5:10] We advertised for the position first internally and received no qualified

[5:15] applicants, and then we advertised externally

[5:19] and received three applications and spoke to all three applicants.

[5:23] I also contacted two other people that didn't apply, but one had inquired about

[5:28] uh wages, and another had their um application online.

[5:33] Um on a note about the wages for the position, on researching that, I found

[5:39] that a neighboring community has two positions in their IT department, an IT

[5:44] technician with a top wage slightly higher than what we're proposing. And

[5:49] also, they also have an IT director topping out at 100,000 annually.

[5:56] Um Wales Sedan will begin employment this Thursday, August 27th,

[6:02] and we wish to have your approval to start at step five of the revised pay

[6:06] range.

[7:41] reflect those changes in our traffic offenses, our general offenses,

[7:45] and this particular ordinance covers fire

[7:47] code as well. We just have to be consistent with their

[8:44] December 2003. And whereas retaining her in city council, Tina served in the

[8:49] parks and playgrounds, solid waste, streets, and sidewalks and traffic

[8:53] committees, dedicating her time and efforts [snorts]

[8:55] to improve the quality of life of the residents of St. Marys. And whereas Tina

[9:00] Ward's commitment to public service and her contributions to the city of St.

[9:04] Marys will be remembered with gratitude and appreciation.

[9:07] Now, therefore, be it resolved by the council of the city of St. Marys, Ohio,

[9:12] section one, the council of the city of St. Marys and the city administration

[9:15] extend their deepest sympathy to the family of Tina Ward.

[9:19] The city of St. Marys recognizes the contribution of Tina made to our

[9:22] community and her efforts to make St. Marys a better place to live. May her

[9:26] dedication and service be an inspiration to others.

[9:30] And that part, of course, is directed to deliver

[9:32] a copy of this resolution to the family of Tina Ward.

[9:36] I did serve with Tina. She obeyed the law.

[9:42] She may have been a little rough and gruff, but

[9:44] she had a big heart. She really cared about the people.

[12:44] Budget Commission and authorizing the necessary tax levies

[12:54] Mr. Harris, this is annual legislation as well. This involves local government

[12:57] funding. These rates are determined by the Auglaize County Budget Commission.

[13:01] The Budget Commission is made up of three elected officials. Bed Elburns is

[13:04] our Auglaize County Prosecutor, Mandy Frank, who is the county treasurer, and

[13:10] Linda Fice, who is the county auditor. They are the ones that set these rates.

[13:14] Um we have to accept or reject these rates at by September 30th. As you'll

[13:19] see on page two, uh the amount that's been set aside for

[13:23] the city of St. Mary's is just a little over $279,000.

[13:30] There's There's plenty of time to read it two more times.
