[8:08] » Um, good afternoon everyone. My name is Kalis Lawrence and I'm the 2026 2027

[8:12] Youth Council mayor. And so we have put together a presentation for you guys to

[8:17] show y'all what we have done so far and what we plan to continue to do in the

[8:20] community.

[8:25] So one of our primary goals is to engage in local government. We believe that

[8:29] engaging young people in local government is about giving the younger

[8:32] younger generation a chance to speak up and learn about what's happening in our

[8:35] own community. Um we love to learn about improving local parks, public transit,

[8:40] and expand expanding mental health resources for all people. Uh we've

[8:45] learned a lot from a lot of we've learned a lot from Councilman Jones, um

[8:49] Miss Regina, and everybody who served s who served right now um on the board.

[8:56] So, we just want to thank you guys for all the opportunities that you give us

[8:59] and we hope that we can get more in the future.

[9:05] Another one of our goals is supporting local businesses. We support and learn

[9:09] from local businesses while inspiring future entrepreneurship. And one, this

[9:15] picture that's right here is from us at one of our meetings at Malberry Kitchen.

[9:21] » Another one of our goals is to keep our community clean. Um, we promote

[9:26] community pride through neighborhood cleanups and our trash pickup

[9:29] initiative. We have almost about two trash days every new year. We have one

[9:35] on the actual trash day which is in November. And we also have a random one

[9:39] where we pick usually early on in the year to just go around in our

[9:43] neighborhoods and clean up with um last time we were with Councilwoman Godfrey

[9:50] and Miss Regina. And yeah, >> thank you.

[9:54] » You're welcome. >> Another one of our goals is support

[9:59] youth in need. Support sponsoring nine local students in need, providing school

[10:05] supplies, personal care items, holiday meals, and continued support throughout

[10:10] the year.

[10:19] I don't Anyways um some of our previous events was one of them was the trash

[10:24] day. It's where we had picked up no trash with councilwoman Goffer. Um trash

[10:29] day was another great success for the youth council. We worked together to

[10:32] clean up areas of our community, learn more about our city and strengthen our

[10:36] teamwork while making a positive impact. Another event that we had was the

[10:41] Juneenth parade where we were in the parade. Um, we participated proudly in

[10:46] the June in the Junth parade celebration with our own float joined by special

[10:51] guest Maria Cook. It was a wonderful opportunity to honor Junth connect with

[10:58] our community and celebrate together. [snorts]

[11:03] Some more of our events. Um, we had a back to school event and a water day.

[11:07] Our back to school event was a tremendous success. Uh youth council

[11:12] members helped distribute book bags. We gave out food to families who wanted it.

[11:17] Um we gave out tickets, school supplies, and this was a great um this was a great

[11:23] opportunity to serve local families, work together, and stay actively

[11:27] involved in our community. Our water day is where we held an event for

[11:35] kids, adults, anybody who wanted to come. We had music playing. We had a

[11:39] face painting station, sports station. Um I think it was a water slide. Uh

[11:46] everybody had fun. We had food, drinks, and it was amazing. Thank you.

[11:53] » Um so next we'll talk about our upcoming events. So, first we have our downtown

[11:57] scarecrow competition. So, all of the members have decided to do a Michael

[12:02] Jackson themed scarecrow. Then we have the youth council symposium um in

[12:07] Statesboro from October 2nd through 4th where we have eight of the members going

[12:11] to represent us. And then we have the annual pumpkin painting where we're

[12:15] going to come and paint the pumpkins that's going to go out in the front. And

[12:19] then we have the downtown chili cookoff that we've decided to participate in

[12:22] this year. We're all really excited about that. And now our most exciting

[12:27] project that we have coming up is our field day. So we've all worked really

[12:30] hard to plan this to try to make it happen this year. It's going to be

[12:33] October 10th at the OKone gym. We're going to have a basketball tournament

[12:38] along with a flag football tournament. And for our younger kids, we're going to

[12:41] have face painting. We're going to have henna four square and also musical

[12:45] chairs. And I would love to see all of you

[12:48] there.

[14:30] sufficient funds to cover most of this purchase except for $798, but the total

[14:35] uh purchase is $97,336 from Seal Distributors out of Sanford,

[14:39] Florida. This is for a um 4 in 7 and 12 horsepower pump and also a 6 in 20

[14:47] horsepower pump. The second purchase is for a Lucas CPR device for the fire

[14:53] department. We have two of these devices, one at Shamrock Fire Station

[14:57] and one at Southside Fire Station. And because of donations made by um the

[15:03] community um community bank as well as Fairview Park Hospital uh through Widows

[15:08] Oil um we've been able to acquire the funds to make this purchase. Um

[15:13] Community Bank donated $10,000 and Fairview Park Hospital donated

[15:16] $10,237.77

[15:20] and the total purchase price happens to be $20,237.77.

[15:26] U this is a CPR device that can be utilized by first responders in the fire

[15:30] department. Um the fire department's oftent times the first to respond to a

[15:36] scene of an accident when when those things happen. And so they can um put

[15:41] this on a victim that needs CPR and it will it's a mechanical device that will

[15:46] provide a steady and constant um CPR and chest compressions. uh so that then the

[15:53] firefighters that are on scene and other EMS can be free to work on clearing

[15:57] airways um clearing dealing with any other matter associated with the scene

[16:01] and getting the victim to the hospital as soon as possible. Um this is um the

[16:07] purchase is um from Lucas and from excuse me from Striker is the name of

[16:13] the company um but it is the Lucas device and um those are the two

[16:17] purchases for council's consideration. Can we show the constituents what it

[16:22] looks like when it's being utilized, please?

[17:21] First reading of ordinance 2609 to amend the hotel height limit requirements.

[17:27] This is ordinance 2609, an ordinance by the mayor and council of the city of

[17:32] Dublin, Georgia to amend the code of ordinances for the city of Dublin

[17:35] regarding height requirements for zoning purposes to provide for severability to

[17:39] repeal all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict here with to

[17:42] provide for an adoption and effective date and for other lawful lawful

[17:46] purposes. We currently have a height restriction of 35 ft in the B2 uh

[17:51] businessoriented district zone. Um and we've identified that um most we've had

[17:59] four applications uh for different hotels to locate out at the I16

[18:04] interchange um near 441 and um obviously all of them would be taller than 35 ft

[18:10] and so they have to go through a process of getting a variance approved for that

[18:14] purpose. So, we've drafted this ordinance to provide an an exception uh

[18:18] to the general 35 foot limitation to increase it to 75 ft if it is a hotel at

[18:24] an I-16 interchange in the B2 district. That will be exclusive to that

[18:29] particular situation. And um so this is the first reading of this ordinance.

[18:34] » All right. We have next read the second reading of this ordinance at our um

[18:39] September 17th meeting at 12:00 noon. Um next will be number agenda item

[18:44] number five. I first read the ordinance 2613 to amend FY26 budget.

[18:49] » Yes, sir. This is ordinance 2613, an ordinance by the mayor and council of

[18:52] the city of Dublin to amend the budget for the fiscal year ending June 30th,

[18:56] 2026 to provide for an effective date and for other lawful purposes. And um

[19:02] the total original budget amount was $90,39,14

[19:08] and the um resulting budget is 73,970,844.

[19:16] I will say I know Mr. Daniels is still um working on some of the final details

[19:21] of this, so those numbers may be adjusted slightly, but this is pretty

[19:24] close to what [snorts] we're going to end up being uh for the second reading.

[19:29] will be on uh September 17th at 12:00 noon. All right, going on to agenda item

[19:34] number six, discussion and action on resolution 2645 to amend the fee

[19:38] schedule related to rolloff carts. >> This is resolution rates.

[19:41] » Oh, sorry. This is resolution 2645, a resolution of the city of Dublin,

[19:46] Georgia by its mayor and council updating the schedule of fees for the

[19:49] city of Dublin related to sanitation rolloff rates and a set an effective

[19:53] date. Um we have the entire schedule of fees as it relates to garbage and trash

[19:59] and sanitation uh in this resolution. Um but the only things that are changing or

[20:06] that were recommended for change to the council. Um are are some cleanup items

[20:11] regarding a second roll cart fee to make those consistent between residential and

[20:15] commercial customers because it's the same cart. Um the rolloff dumpster rate.

[20:20] We're recommending the disposal fee per dump be reduced from $225 to $200 and

[20:27] then the landfill dumping fee per ton go from $36 to $40 per ton. Um and then we

[20:33] have a daily dumpster rental fee that's currently in there that's $5 a day and

[20:38] we would like to adjust that to so that it's only charged after 14 days um of

[20:42] service. And um the other cleanup items are related to um deleting some

[20:48] superfluous language and making clear uh what the rates are for some services

[20:54] that we already charge for. Um the um I will say that the silo waste management

[20:59] authority where the landfill that we carry all of our garbage to did um vote

[21:05] to increase their rates that are charged to us um by quite a bit um after we had

[21:13] approved our budget. Um and so we've been looking at that and currently only

[21:18] have recommended for the council these minor adjustments to the garbage rates.

[22:07] agreement with Site Industries LLC called Sims Sites Cloud Software for

[22:12] cemeteries for up to five year for up to a 5-year term to authorize the mayor and

[22:17] city clerk to execute the same set effective date and for other lawful

[22:21] purposes. The council's previously approved uh ground penetrating uh radar

[22:26] to be used under another contract to go through all three of our cemeteries.

[22:31] that's cross the creek cemetery, North View Cemetery, and the old city cemetery

[22:35] that's behind the First Methodist Church here in town. And that process is

[22:39] ongoing now. They're creating digital maps of the cemetery uh the cemeteries.

[22:44] And we'll be identifying um and providing data in an online database um

[22:50] for you know who what places are occupied and what places are vacant. And

[22:56] um we will then use that to um provide to sim sites which is a company that

[23:02] provides a software that will make it where we can make that information

[23:06] available for administration purposes for the city staff but also for the

[23:10] public to be able to view and click and see and discover where loved ones may be

[23:14] buried. So um we have um budgeted for this. the cost is a bit less than what

[23:21] we originally were budgeting u because of the digital maps that we're going to

[23:25] be able to provide them. So the implementation cost is $14,000 and then

[23:29] there's an ongoing annual license to use their software. Um that fee is $2695.

[23:37] We do ask for council to approve this resolution.

[24:52] route. So that's is what outright. So that's what discussion is about. So

[25:00] item number nine discussion and action on resolution 2653 to authorize the

[25:05] initial project assessment submission for the rural workforce housing grant.

[25:10] This is resolution 2653, a resolution by the mayor and council of the city of

[25:14] Dublin, Georgia to approve an initial project assessment for the one Georgia

[25:18] rural workforce housing initiative grant to authorize the mayor to execute the

[25:22] same set effective date and for other lawful purposes. DCA uh the Department

[25:27] of Community Affairs is has published um an funding opportunity for a grant uh

[25:34] that is related to infrastructure costs for housing projects that meet certain

[25:38] criteria including price points. And um part of the process for this is that we

[25:43] have to submit an initial project assessment which is kind of a notice to

[25:47] DCA that we intend to make a formal grant application. But the grant would

[25:51] um be up to $2 and a half million dollars to cover the infrastructure

[25:56] costs which could be water, road, drainage, sewer um associated with a

[26:01] housing development project. Um and we've been approached by a developer for

[26:06] a a proposed project that would um take place on Woodlon across from the Woodlon

[26:11] apartments in the in the large vacant field that's there. And um so this is

[26:15] just kind of one step that's required for this process. And um yeah, on the

[26:20] screen there you can see is kind of a um proposed uh conceptual site plan for

[26:26] what it might look like. And we're working with the developer now on

[26:30] fine-tuning this site plan as well as a we'll have to have a developers

[26:34] agreement uh in place between the city and the developer on the project. And um

[26:40] so if we um get through all that then we may have for the council at a future

[26:44] meeting um the grant application for your approval as well.

[27:21] to see that the first grant is or you know, if we have one going that it's

[27:25] going well and that it's, you know, actually happening. Um there's there's a

[27:28] lot of there's a very tight window for actually building the homes that the

[27:32] developer has to commit to meet and do. So, um, it's got to be somebody's got

[27:36] everything, their ducks in a row and has it all lined up.

[27:39] » But the grant is from the Department of Community Affairs. It's not a city

[27:42] grant. It's just accepting the grant to to build the infrastructure.

[27:46] » Right. The city the city actually has to be the grant applicant. Um, but we have

[27:50] a separate agreement between us and the developer about cost associated with

[27:55] that. So, any overage in the cost of the infrastructure would, you know, I'm

[27:59] assuming the council would want that to be the the cost of the developer. Um,

[28:03] but those are all things that would have to be negotiated in that agreement.

[28:34] authorize an amendment to the contract with Don Construction Company for the

[28:37] purpose for the purpose of establishing a guaranteed maximum price for the

[28:41] street division facility on Madison Street. This is resolution 2654, a

[28:46] resolution of the city of Dublin, Georgia, buy and through its mayor and

[28:49] council to approve an amendment to the agreement with Dublin Construction

[28:52] Company concerning the Dublin public works street division building

[28:56] renovation project to authorize the mayor to execute and deliver the same to

[29:01] provide authority for approvals of expenditures for the project to provide

[29:05] for an effective date and for other lawful purposes. We engaged with Dublin

[29:09] Construction Company on a Seymar or construction manager at risk basis for

[29:13] this project. We've been working with our architect who is Brian Felder and

[29:17] Associates to develop the final plans for the building. This is concerning um

[29:21] what we call the cotton warehouse, but it's the facility that's on Madison

[29:25] Street um going down towards our groundwater plant. Um it's directly

[29:30] adjacent to that property. And um we purchased this building with the idea

[29:34] that we would move our street division facility um to this location. They are

[29:38] currently housed at the end of South Washington Street down by Riverview Golf

[29:42] Course and um on the other side of Rosco Bower Park. Um so we're hoping to move

[29:48] them out of that area um and clean up that that space down there where they're

[29:52] currently located. Um the guar the way this works is we entered into a contract

[29:58] with Dman Construction and they've been working with us on some of the

[30:01] preliminary matters as we've um gotten into the final design. We have the

[30:05] construction documents. They have gone out and gotten quotes from multiple

[30:09] subcontractors as they need it to deliver the project for us. But it

[30:13] involves um taking that building and creating some finished space. Uh it'll

[30:18] have office space for some of the staff. It'll have um bathroom facilities for

[30:22] them. Um it will have a um common area room. It'll have a locker room. It will

[30:29] have a meeting room. And so the street department, you know, responds often

[30:34] times to um emergency situations. Um the building's going to be equipped with a

[30:38] gas power generator so that they'll be able to go there and have it available

[30:42] um and have power in the event of some major catastrophe. Um and it will also

[30:47] have access control. There'll be improvements to the grounds. There'll be

[30:50] fencing and landscaping and all that's covered by the contract.

[30:55] Um the total GMP is $3,240,000. Uh $240,532.

[31:04] Uh this is within our um budgeted amount that we had estimated for the project.

[31:10] Um it is going to be funded by the 2024 splast. So it's the one penny special

[31:15] purpose sales tax that's paying for this. And um all told the um total

[31:22] project with the survey and architect's work that's been done is um just over 3

[31:27] point or almost $3.4 million. Um I will say a GMP uh guaranteed maximum price.

[31:34] They are saying they will deliver the full scope of the project as it's been

[31:37] specified in the plans at that price or less. And if it comes in less then we

[31:42] experience those savings. If it comes in more than that, if it ends up costing

[31:46] them more than that, then they have to eat those costs. So, um, this is a good

[31:50] one to get under under the books and thanks to the facilities committee u

[31:54] that's been working on this. Um, that's Councilman uh or Mayor Prom Jones,

[31:59] Councilwoman Godfrey, and Councilman Chain uh for your help with this

[32:04] project. And I know that um Matthew Bradshaw and his staff have been

[32:08] diligently working on the project as well as Robbie Petri and the public

[32:12] works guys. So, um, thanks to everybody involved.

[32:18] me. Um, once the street department is out from the Emiry Golf, Emery Thomas

[32:24] um, facility and golf course down there, will that street open back up at the

[32:28] bottom of the park on the south side? Cuz we used to could walk all the way

[32:32] around or drive all the way around. Once they're out and all the equipment is

[32:36] gone, would you do you think the street will open back up? We've got to that's

[32:39] something I think the council we all needed to discuss and figure out what

[32:42] the future plans are because I know we've also talked about having the a

[32:46] back entrance to like the Emery Thomas and that kind of thing. So, um we'll

[32:50] have to look at all that um and see what we want to do cuz you got we've got to a

[32:54] parks master plan concept for down there. So, we can look at all that at

[32:57] the time. >> They're looking forward to using their

[33:00] excavator to do some clean up down there. So,

[33:39] resolution by the mayor and council of the city of Dublin, Georgia, to accept

[33:42] and approve the terms of an agreement for operational building lease for women

[33:46] in need of God's shelter, Wings, to authorize the mayor to execute the same,

[33:50] to set an effective date, and for other lawful purposes. Wings has been in this

[33:54] facility that's owned by the city for a number of years now. Um, we've been

[33:59] going through a process. We've got several um pieces of property that the

[34:03] city owns that we um have lease agreements with different um nonprofits

[34:08] that provide a service to the public in general. Um and so this is making that

[34:14] effective by having an updated lease. It's just time to update the lease with

[34:17] them. So um they are responsible for providing um any improvements to the the

[34:24] property that they desire. They're responsible for the insurance on the

[34:27] property. They're responsible for all the utilities on the property um and the

[34:31] general upkeep. So, um we just provide the space for them. So,

[35:24] with Georgia Municipal Association. This is resolution 2656, a resolution by the

[35:29] mayor and council of the city of Dublin, Georgia to authorize an application to

[35:32] the Georgia municipal association for a safety grant for the city to accept the

[35:36] terms and conditions of said grant to authorize administration of the grant if

[35:39] awarded to authorize the mayor and city manager or city manager to execute and

[35:43] deliver certain documents on behalf of the city and for other lawful purposes.

[35:48] We have put together um our HR department has put together a grant

[35:52] application for um through um GMA um for $20,000 to um provide funding to allow

[36:01] us to install cameras in some of the some or if not all of the city vehicles.

[36:06] Um and this is meant to be a safety grant so that it can uh help track in

[36:11] case there's incidents of um it can track driving behavior. um and

[36:17] also help us with training for training purposes um and then also help as far as

[36:22] being able to show you know what other drivers may have done in an incident

[36:25] that we may be involved in. So um this is a grant application and um GMA

[36:33] handles these online and so the all the forms are electronic and they're being

[36:38] sent to my email so I'm the one that's got to sign off on them. That's why it

[36:41] says city manager u on there to do the signing. So this a little unique

[38:15] name is Jamie Pock and I'm a resident of the county, but I also have members who

[38:19] live in the city. Uh I would like to say thank you for this opportunity to stand

[38:23] before you on behalf of Atrisisk Succeed and our manup mentoring initiative. I

[38:28] would like to express our sincere appreciation for Chief Moon and his

[38:32] commitment to the young men in our community. On August the 8th, 10 mentees

[38:36] and five mentors had the privilege of participating in a special madeup

[38:40] session that focused on building authentic relationships with community

[38:43] leaders. Although it was his day off, Chief Moon arrived in full uniform, and

[38:47] took the time to connect personally with our young men. He did more than make a

[38:52] presentation. He shared real life experiences, offered honest and

[38:56] practical advice, answered questions, and encouraged our young men to make

[38:59] positive decisions about their lives and futures. Most importantly, he allowed

[39:03] them to see the person behind the uniform and to understand that our

[39:06] community leaders care about their success. Chief Moon demonstrated what

[39:10] authentic community leadership looks like. Showing up, building trust,

[39:14] listening, and investing in the next generation. We want to thank Chief Moon

[39:18] for his service, sacrifice, and willingness to pour into our young men.

[39:22] We also thank the mayor, city council, and the city of Del for supporting

[39:26] leadership that values positive relationships between public service and

[39:30] the youth of our community. Hence, Dublin City Council Youth. When

[39:34] community leaders and mentor organizations work together, we give our

[39:37] young men people young people great opportunities to grow, succeed, and

[39:40] become responsible leaders themselves. I also want to say again, thank you, Chief

[39:45] Moon, for helping us with our initiative this summer. Also want to remind

[39:49] everyone that September is prostate cancer awareness month. Men, please

[39:54] learn your family history and know your risk and talk with health care

[39:57] professional because you're valuable. Thank you.

[40:23] America's 250th on September the 17th, Constitution Day. There will be three

[40:29] trees planted in the city of Dublin. These trees are very significant to our

[40:35] constitution. The trees that we'll be planting are

[40:39] Franklinia trees which are named after Benjamin Franklin who was the signer of

[40:44] the US Constitution. the days that day on the 17th our speaker will be a

[40:50] national our the national expert on the Franklinia trees who is a retired

[40:57] professor from the University of Georgia. The trees we have looked all

[41:01] over for these trees and have finally found them in the state of Georgia.

[41:06] These trees are, like I said, are very significant to the Constitution and we

[41:10] invite all of y'all to attend and our community for this very significant tree

[41:17] planting.

[42:03] about the flock cameras safety. I want to be respectful and transparent. When

[42:09] flocks cameras came, I when we first introduced the flock cameras, I was for

[42:15] them. I believe that they could help keep our community safe. However, I no

[42:22] longer feel the same way. I have concerns about who have access to the

[42:26] information, who is shared with, and what protections are in place. I have

[42:32] submitted an open record request to better understand how the system is

[42:37] being used. I respectfully ask that the council to review these concerns and

[42:42] keep us informed. Thank you.

[43:39] tell you what an honor it is to represent um the citizens of our

[43:42] community. Although you weren't elected to these positions, you volunteered for

[43:47] these positions and it's so important to understand the impact of community

[43:51] service. Um I am um available anytime, anything you want to learn. Um some

[43:57] really interesting things from tonight. uh was that we were able to um uh put in

[44:03] those new appointees and those continued appointees to the DDA and the tourism uh

[44:08] council and it's really important to think about those different community

[44:11] members that have different passions and interest and how they can also serve

[44:14] their community in those places. Um we also heard about nonprofits that receive

[44:19] uh some support from the city like wings. They are utilizing one of the

[44:24] city's buildings um and that is a way that we can support them, right? And so

[44:29] we also see that like at the Katherine uh W. Gray Library where we've g given a

[44:34] um a basically no cost lease to communities and schools and other

[44:37] entities that are helping support community efforts and uh our spay and

[44:41] neuter project. So I just wanted you to see about how nonprofits interact with

[44:46] the city. We're not necessarily giving them um money, but we can help support

[44:50] their efforts uh in other ways, especially when they're serving the

[44:54] community at large. So, I just want to say um invite you to come to uh First

[44:58] Friday tomorrow at the Chamber of Commerce. We've got a lot of things

[45:01] going on. And then tomorrow night is uh First Friday downtown. There's multiple

[45:05] bands playing. Uh everybody set be safe over this long Labor Day uh weekend. And

[47:21] impressive and you guys have a lot of things going on. So, I know to balance

[47:36] council. uh my youth counselor that was a brainchild of mine that when I first

[47:40] got on council I wanted to get youth involved. So we did go around and looked

[47:44] at other youth council that was in the state in different forms and we formed

[47:48] the council youth council back then to go along with our team court that was

[47:52] already here. So this has been going on for about 10 years and I'd like to say

[47:56] thank you council. Y'all are actively working. We've had seen some great young

[48:00] people come through here. We had a young man that as of um this past spring had

[48:06] an internship. He go to school at um Kennesaw State. Mr. Daryus had an

[48:11] internship with Senator Waro office. He was the mayor of the youth council here

[48:14] in the city of Dublin twice two years. So this is kind of opportunity and doors

[48:18] that get open to you for being here. You get to meet people and get interact with

[48:22] people and um so these are things that we want you to get involved with and

[48:26] don't be afraid to reach out and do so. Youth council, you know, the sky's is

[48:30] the limit. The water park that you see out there at the southern pines that was

[48:33] a brainchild of the first youth council that we had. They pressured them about a

[48:36] public pool. So we don't want no public pool. It cost money. Water park make

[48:42] money for the city. So that's what it's done. So these are things that our young

[48:46] people can get involved in parks what we're trying to do with the parks. Don't

[48:50] be afraid to put your opinion. Your opinion matters. We want you to decide.

[48:54] I know everybody said it. You ask everybody up here that's from Dublin

[48:58] probably that's that's graduated from Dublin. I'm 89. Graduate from Dublin

[49:01] High School. When I graduated I said I'm leaving Dublin, not coming back.

[49:05] Dublin's in my rearview mirror. I don't plan on coming back to Dublin. And I

[49:09] meant that. I really did. But I said I wasn't coming back but God said you

[49:14] going back. So I end up right back [laughter]

[49:17] and like why you brought me back here? ended up on city council. Didn't have no

[49:24] no vision of running for city council, but here I am. So, you never know where

[49:27] you're going to be at, but you want to make your community better. So, how

[49:30] here's how you start thinking about that, Reverend Park, for what you're

[49:33] doing with the mentorship program with our young men. U that's great. We need

[49:37] more of that what we see going around. So, any other community activities, you

[49:41] know, let's get involved and let's get get going. Also like to point out that

[49:45] on September the 19th, we're doing something for the public,

[49:49] partnering with contact the DA office. Something we've had in the plan for a

[49:53] couple years. If you know of anybody they have something on their record,

[49:57] they want to get expuned. [snorts] We're doing an expungement

[50:00] workshop for Lawrence County, Johnson County, Twe County, and Troutland

[50:04] County. The four county circuit that that I'm DA McClennon is over. He's

[50:09] doing it at the old corny gym. Anybody see me, you need to get a crim criminal

[50:13] background check. It needs to be dated starting tomorrow. So you can go down

[50:17] tomorrow, get your criminal background check tomorrow. Date it up until that

[50:21] day. Come on, bring it down there. We have somebody there to talk to you about

[50:24] how to get that stuff off your record. Help you with better jobs. I know people

[50:28] trying to get jobs and they got little small things on their record that's
