Welcome, everybody, to our last official school health advisory council meeting, check, appreciate
[0:11]
our SFV for providing breakfast for us, and it's wonderful, mark young, thank you and
[0:18]
brave and for getting that together. We have some minutes to read from our last meeting and get
[0:25]
starting with this meeting and part of the questions.
[0:28]
The road, because I know that's how many years
[0:30]
tough and hard to get everything in and get that.
[0:35]
All right, on our last meeting, first of all,
[0:38]
I have this up here just so that we can see
[0:41]
for those of you that may not have seen or known
[0:43]
what the purpose and the natural text and education
[0:46]
code requires, and these are going to be our
[0:50]
stat reporters today, which are used to these.
[0:53]
They're usually the ones that report for us.
[0:56]
We have Ms. Tram here today who is our guidance teacher
[0:59]
for the elementary and she's going to update us
[1:02]
for foster care and any other things that we need
[1:05]
to know from elementary school.
[1:09]
For my last meeting, we had a welcome of our new parents,
[1:14]
the Anderson and Cherokee County's
[1:16]
process resource center visited with us.
[1:19]
in terms of read the minutes from the last meeting. Our school nurse had updates about the
[1:26]
sonic lodge doing the fantastic tea program and flu absences we had of a part there. And while
[1:35]
we're speaking in flu absences just so you know we applied for a waiver for two days to school
[1:42]
in our for the state. And one of those school days was when that flu came through, we had so many
[1:50]
answers, absence, that we were able to apply for that labor. So it will not come against this. And
[1:56]
the other one was for when we thought we had a major incident in the middle school and many parents
[2:06]
kept their children home. They're going to let us labor that also. So you have to make sure that
[2:12]
at least 10% lower than the same date on the last year, and that's how they measure that.
[2:17]
So we will be approved for those two days.
[2:21]
That means we won't lose our funding, that's always good.
[2:26]
Special programs talk to you about the GPS update and McKinney Bento Act, we talked about that,
[2:33]
and McKinney and McKinney and McKinney get breakfast and just make yourself at home.
[2:39]
We're glad to have you standing in line here on the front and get you to the agenda.
[2:45]
All right.
[2:45]
Now we have principal updates and special speakers where our crisis prevention
[2:51]
center I also after that meeting sent email to all the councillors to tell them about
[2:59]
the program they offer for our kit-outers that would be able to recognize signs of abuse or help
[3:07]
them decide about that.
[3:09]
So, we're going to start this morning with, talk, it's not, it's not here, but Ms. Lincoln's here.
[3:17]
Ms. Lincoln, if you would like to start out with any kind of updates or recording we need to know.
[3:22]
I'm using mentioned the unison of lodge.
[3:24]
It has to be in program maybe come and this room was packed with those people.
[3:30]
And the room is just a little bit different.
[3:33]
Very good
[3:36]
team chances, I think, really enjoy that.
[3:39]
And they all got their little table and packed,
[3:40]
they're just a little bit different.
[3:41]
It's on our own, and you can see.
[3:45]
Also, we've been hearing this.
[3:47]
It's been amazing the last couple weeks for me getting wrapped up
[3:50]
for all of these great, great, great children
[3:54]
so that's all you can see.
[3:55]
So, visit hearing, find us,
[3:57]
great enough that I'm now
[3:58]
which is kind of hanging on with the school.
[4:01]
Hangin' on.
[4:02]
I hope nobody else breaks me,
[4:04]
they hear what I'm talking about.
[4:05]
That's right.
[4:07]
That's right.
[4:08]
Our right, Mysterium is our elementary guidance teacher,
[4:12]
and she's also our foster care liaison
[4:15]
and helps so many kids and so many different ways.
[4:19]
So I asked Ms. Chairman to come and just give us some updates on false
[4:22]
trick here or anything else.
[4:24]
The elementary guidance needs to update the chat committee for.
[4:28]
The first fall, our role is that in five, so that our students, in their
[4:34]
false trick here, in the 19th of the age of 50, 30, there, these, we currently have
[4:40]
a kiddos that are identified in our district as false trick children.
[4:44]
We just had four that recently moved to another district.
[4:47]
It was 12, which shows you that foster children are usually very transient, they move a lot.
[4:57]
And because they're moving around a lot here, it's actually pretty is usually in pieces.
[5:05]
It can be behind, and it can be a big depth in learning.
[5:11]
And they're constantly having to learn a new area, as well as, you know, just being people.
[5:19]
Most of our foster kids are actually in a kinship type setting, meaning that someone
[5:25]
it can be a family member or it can be some of that's not best to interest in them.
[5:30]
That is second to them, man.
[5:33]
They have to meet certain criteria to be considered a foster child.
[5:39]
We have a lot of CTS intervention that doesn't fall into the true foster child identification.
[5:49]
So these kids have a lot of feelings as they move from school to school.
[5:56]
They get to a lot, and they need a lot.
[6:00]
But there's a lot of resources out there that can help them.
[6:04]
We've currently got three hospital students in foster care and it's really important that we make those
[6:09]
transition and needs as they move on into their adult life and there's many programs out there
[6:14]
that their workers should be initiating and working for the young.
[6:21]
Dropout rates are high for our foster children.
[6:25]
So we've got a monitor that and make sure that we've been everything in our power to get them involved in
[6:30]
to procure things that might impress them to be apart.
[6:36]
One of the biggest issues right now is knowing if a child is actually in foster care.
[6:44]
There's
[6:47]
a likes between CPS and the school districts where we are not receiving the commission,
[6:53]
but we do have a educational specialist at CPS, which is Kevin Thurman.
[6:58]
And so any time I hear that they're my kids' child and foster care, I can reach out to her
[7:04]
to get the needed paperwork, and she's been really good about getting the case workers
[7:08]
to provide what can be, and then also the brown-lit process is really helpful.
[7:14]
She reaches out a lot, asking for her information on the kiddos, especially when they're about
[7:21]
to go to court.
[7:23]
I attended a recent spray consortium that was facilitated by Kathy Thur.
[7:30]
And she said that the biggest issue right now, which it bothered me, is the familiar, familiar, familiar abuse.
[7:41]
And the speaker was talking about how these children are being, especially for hospital and in a local level, are being trafficked by their own parents.
[7:53]
And they don't see it as being traffic because it's their family, and they just don't know that that's called abuse.
[8:03]
But they're being traffic for either money or drugs or money to violence.
[8:10]
And so they're asking that the districts really watch this problem.
[8:14]
that some of the participants in that sign meeting are some of this
[8:22]
just around the entire community and the deaf people are not
[8:25]
in that sense, so it's real, and we just have to keep an open
[8:29]
eye to it. So if there's anything, if you suspect me,
[8:33]
people are in the hospital and you also care that you need to reach out to the
[8:36]
partners on that platform and if you need to take the work, why do you do that?
[8:41]
If you have kids that are being monitored or has, you get an intervention, they ask this to really
[8:48]
track those because they could get into the foster care system at some point.
[8:52]
So they said, always be cautious and make note.
[8:57]
Thank you, Ms. Chan, and for guests and parents that are here, just for your information,
[9:03]
all staff receives human trafficking, training every year.
[9:07]
We go, we have it on our edgy hero program, and we have to go through that every year just
[9:13]
to keep us updated and remind us of what to watch for.
[9:18]
Sadly, it's prevalent.
[9:20]
The NCBL is our director of technology, NCBL, did you have anything to share about any updates
[9:28]
or anything I can't think?
[9:29]
And then we call them, some of those percent of the types of water.
[9:34]
Uh-huh.
[9:34]
We are.
[9:35]
We are.
[9:37]
Oh yes.
[9:38]
Tell them about that.
[9:40]
Tell them about that.
[9:41]
So we're going to move away from the format.
[9:43]
And we're getting a lot more parents.
[9:45]
We're about to just around the party.
[9:47]
We want that.
[9:49]
So we don't.
[9:50]
People down on the out.
[9:52]
And then that we're.
[9:54]
Basically it's like.
[9:55]
Oh, so.
[9:56]
Yeah.
[9:56]
because it doesn't mean you can see stuff in the teachers.
[10:00]
We'll have that.
[10:01]
We'll teach you won't use reminding you more
[10:02]
that everyone will use parents where
[10:04]
the coach is everyone.
[10:06]
We'll be under one platform for communication.
[10:08]
So we are moving to that for next school year.
[10:11]
We will not have.
[10:12]
This will necessarily want to see the phone quality in one.
[10:16]
It's really nice.
[10:19]
It's really nice.
[10:19]
Yeah, it's really a neat program.
[10:21]
And there's a, there's also a student's class app that comes with an old life. All the students,
[10:27]
say football is, and now loaded, and the football coaches can set up a football group.
[10:33]
The more texting between coaches and students, now everything goes to parents.
[10:37]
Parents square.
[10:37]
So Jen, to students square from the student and to protect our coaches.
[10:42]
From hand out to self on numbers.
[10:44]
Right.
[10:44]
and they can message the code, say I need to write a second,
[10:48]
can't do 10, but now it's all telling their parents
[10:51]
where a server is in its perspective.
[10:53]
And we're on some special in the website.
[10:55]
The website is in my right to the website.
[10:59]
So the website is in the complete.
[11:00]
Oh, okay.
[11:01]
We're going to work.
[11:02]
We're going to work a lot.
[11:03]
All that will be a pre-enter.
[11:06]
We're sure the communication part.
[11:09]
Oh, we should be able to get the website down.
[11:11]
It's not worth to have our current mobility.
[11:12]
Well, if they actually want to work on that, they can start.
[11:18]
And just while that's on my mind, there's a parent and family engagement survey that's been
[11:21]
sent out.
[11:22]
If you have a chance, please fill that out.
[11:26]
We use that for our data.
[11:28]
And we like to see what you have to say about certain things with our family engagement.
[11:32]
So if you haven't already, please make sure you fill that out for me.
[11:37]
Okay, this is Mark Young and Mark Young is the director of SFI who is our cafeteria food
[11:47]
services nutrition and Mark has agreed of course as you see our wonderful breakfast.
[11:54]
He and Brandon came in to bring us our breakfast.
[11:58]
So Mark, if you would have to separate our staff and guests about SFI and what's going on and what's coming.
[12:04]
absolutely. Thank you for asking us to do some things mark down on what SFV, which is your food service management company and we
[12:13]
operate the food service program and your district. So all of the staff in the cafeteria are technically
[12:19]
SFV employees. You might see all SFV on their shirt if you didn't know already, but whether they're SFV or
[12:25]
district employees, we have some, right up throughout the world we're in Westwood as well and a lot of those
[12:30]
employees are some of them are Westwood employees, some of them are SFV. It doesn't really matter we're all
[12:35]
part of the same community here with these kids to take care of them.
[12:40]
Everyone that works with this cafeteria is a member of this community as well.
[12:42]
So they all love these kids so much and so what we've been doing this year,
[12:46]
we do have a few updates because normally it wouldn't be me that comes to
[12:51]
like a local shack.
[12:52]
I'm actually going to buy me an outcome.
[12:54]
Okay.
[12:55]
So I have a figure district that I oversee, like a laundry area,
[13:01]
if you want to.
[13:04]
We're growing as if he's here
[13:09]
to you guys, what we need is a really strong
[13:11]
on-site district manager that's taking care of your staff and your students every single day.
[13:17]
And so we have a little bit of a management change here. We have a former General Manager.
[13:22]
It's no longer in this district with us. It just wasn't just wasn't the right fit for what we needed.
[13:28]
So we have a great candidate that is going to be stepping in.
[13:36]
She's been in and out several times, in fact, she, I know she'll be back next week, but she's still in a district right now that she's kind of, once she gets finished up this year, that she'll be transitioning over here to L-Car full time, but she's really excited, she's already gotten me all of the staff, much of the people in admin and maybe some of you guys as well.
[13:56]
But I really am looking forward to what she's going to bring to the table because she has a lot of commitment to going back to L-Car full time.
[14:02]
this patient, not only because we want to see participation growth rate for the district
[14:06]
and career care for everybody, but it's also going to give
[14:17]
the personnel what needs
[14:18]
are out there.
[14:24]
I'm under estimate of how important
[14:30]
we can already see some of this stuff that we have
[14:32]
even brandies helped me do even as of this year.
[14:35]
So I was just trying to do some of the numbers of our participation from beginning of the year
[14:38]
to where we are now second semester and we're trending so last semester we had several
[14:44]
months that we were like below 650 a day on lunch participation and the last two months
[14:50]
that we've closed, we're about to close April as well,
[14:52]
but February and March, we've been over 700 months.
[14:55]
So we are seeing the distribution growth
[14:57]
and I really think a lot of that is because we're really brandy.
[15:00]
I sat down with the cafeteria staff and said, what do your kids really want? Why? Why are there so many kids bringing a lot of thoughts? There's not that they're going to be a problem with the kid bringing a lot of thoughts, but sometimes we see what they've brain had. It's like a bad at chips and we're like, you know what I mean? We know we can give you something better than that, something more billing. So, we got down to the brass tax, they want me to say that they want people, they want something that is a safe choice for them, especially at that elementary school. The high school secondarys want something maybe a little more ventures, not something so repetitive. So, we made some pretty significant
[15:29]
to get me to overhaul, I don't know if you have a chance to look at interest-wise,
[15:33]
and you can see all of our published venues on our archives,
[15:36]
and you've got a new interest-wise dotting off in September.
[15:40]
We've been trying to make changes, and we've made a bigger changes to our quarter-one meetings
[15:45]
for next year.
[15:46]
So we're excited to get this out.
[15:48]
And on that note, that, well, before I can say,
[15:51]
I've also tried to do more community engagement events
[15:55]
in a second semester than what we've typically been able to do before.
[15:59]
Mr. Johnson's help deal with a lot of that too.
[16:01]
We bring some fun games to the district.
[16:04]
They serve lunch in for the whole district that was really fun.
[16:07]
And you actually have what it's like.
[16:09]
And a lot of times we'll be invited there and stick on for a lunch event.
[16:12]
They bring lunch from the outside.
[16:14]
Which I feel is as good as we work so hard and do something.
[16:16]
But we have maybe two or three parents bring it outside.
[16:19]
Every other person, I think we had upwards of 30,
[16:23]
or something parents come in, that can aid with us in the cafeteria.
[16:26]
that was awesome. And of course, Burger Cook out of them for the staff that ladies like
[16:33]
being a part of this well, if you didn't gotten involved helping prepare some of the food
[16:37]
for the school board catering. So we're just trying to do it more. Coach, he's a more of a
[16:42]
family food service that's trying to take care of these kids. So I think that's what's going to
[16:48]
not try.
[16:51]
So on that note, for next year, we are looking at exciting new things, new menus,
[16:57]
We're also going to be a focus, switch your focus a little bit, switch your reschedule for
[17:03]
our every three year TBA audit, which is pretty intensive.
[17:08]
They come in and look at everything from the way that we plan the menus, to where we buy the food,
[17:13]
to the action prepared with the menu.
[17:15]
We're at correct and it comes from America.
[17:17]
If it didn't come from America, then we'd have to admit it.
[17:19]
I still want to, and I know Mr. Johnson did through that a few times.
[17:24]
I'll not just fear SFU will be here for y'all through that entire process, but you might notice a little more of a shift towards compliance.
[17:31]
If you see emails coming out like, hey teachers, remember you have to pay for a lunch.
[17:36]
Those kind of things, those are all compliance things that these are making sure we're collecting them.
[17:42]
You know, non-programmed needles.
[17:44]
They want to follow that dollar all the way to the very end, so you might see some communications coming out like that through administration from us.
[17:52]
And so we would just love everybody's help and being patient with the, you know,
[17:57]
sometimes I don't only go into the weeds because I thought I could help a couple of times.
[18:02]
But, you know, things that the middle school loves to sell.
[18:05]
I mean, this is a made-up scenario.
[18:06]
But if they love to sell a certain gatorade and you find out,
[18:09]
that's actually compliant at the high school level.
[18:11]
There are little things like that that we have to be really tuned into,
[18:14]
that maybe follow me the crash before.
[18:17]
But just know that everything is that's coming out is from,
[18:20]
We want to make sure that this district gets to do a great audit, and that the funding
[18:24]
needs for folks through, and that the kids continue to be taking care of in the way
[18:28]
they should be.
[18:29]
So with that, another thing that we'll be looking at is, menu advisory board, 80 district that
[18:36]
partners with a service management company has to have an established menu advisory board
[18:40]
and their recommendation is they need twice per year to discuss the menu, do you like
[18:46]
what's the menu?
[18:46]
If you did something for semester, I believe, and I know we got that, but I really like
[18:51]
to try to do something at the beginning, and like school year, that really is like a true
[18:56]
big advisor for reading the students involved, parents, teachers, anybody that's got a vested
[19:01]
interest in what these kids are eating, come to some meeting, and maybe we can work together
[19:06]
on how to get that communication out. But we love that. We love that. We're really going to advise
[19:09]
you to work documents in a minute. It's just T.A. We'll be looking at that, but more than just
[19:13]
We want to know, from the kids, what is it that they're wanting to eat?
[19:18]
What are you missing?
[19:18]
What do you love?
[19:19]
You can get some of that feedback.
[19:21]
So more common, I mean, you'd advise your work for the beginning of next year.
[19:26]
And then, one last note, we're going to send out some communication this week.
[19:29]
We did it a couple weeks ago.
[19:31]
Just a reminder of any negative bounces that students might have.
[19:36]
There are only reasons I brought this up in here.
[19:38]
I know this is focused on health and student.
[19:40]
just, you know, we're talking about the nutrition and overall education and their educational experience.
[19:46]
So a lot of times you notice that kids are going negative and they've gone past their negative advantage.
[19:51]
We continue to feed the movie and those kids goes about a mental and even if they're negative.
[19:55]
We just are no longer able to the district at that point is not getting their full reimbursement for that meal like they should.
[20:02]
What does that mean? I was thinking about what you were saying.
[20:04]
If you notice each student that maybe you know something that it's their care, it's aren't able to, you know, a lot of parents, for some reason you start my household application, maybe they're their safety, the kids are going to show up on a list of three loads where the kids come to the line, nobody knows except for the lady bringing out the kids on free and reduced.
[20:24]
So if you ever notice any kid that maybe doesn't have a line to their negative or anything like that, maybe you can help pass the warning long to encourage them to fill out applications
[20:33]
And hopefully one day we can get to a point where perhaps we go to the C&P where
[20:39]
Kizzi free based on the identified number in the district. So we'll continue to look at those numbers.
[20:45]
So when you talk about that, we'll put it because we are, yeah, we are.
[20:48]
We are just looking at no amount of application for the two.
[20:52]
So based on our list of CLI, that's an audit numbers, which we are putting that form.
[20:57]
So that's honestly the registration package this year.
[20:59]
Then a lot of parents don't go out because they say, I don't want anyone to know what our salary is.
[21:03]
But that's why it'll be part of the registration pack in our mind.
[21:06]
So I mean, if you use a product that's passed, I don't really talk about it at all.
[21:10]
Because they do have that little pdf, the one right.
[21:13]
And so every parent will go out.
[21:14]
That looks so simple.
[21:15]
And not only helps us get more kids in free practice lunch.
[21:21]
It also may help the district field.
[21:23]
It doesn't get free in practice lunch.
[21:27]
And also helps us on the budget side of what's on water, which is a way, a day, and it's
[21:33]
100% based on your low associate from our computer.
[21:35]
So now we're not getting as much money per kid as we can, as a district, because we don't
[21:42]
have enough families still on that board.
[21:44]
So there's going to be a couple of things to do with that.
[21:47]
But we are looking at, we're only going to have to go ahead and apply and proceed
[21:52]
for our two motor level.
[21:54]
The percentage is that where we will get reimbursed 100 percent, if we go 100, if we let
[22:00]
every kidney, three breakfast, three lunch, but we take the participation of which we go up
[22:04]
and cover the cost, the district would eat the rest of the cost, and the participation
[22:07]
of which we bring enough money to cover that.
[22:10]
One of the way, you know, right now, y'all are already eating the cost of the kids that
[22:13]
are no longer being for lunches, because they've got their negative balance and so
[22:17]
work.
[22:18]
I'm thankful that you put a fund so far out.
[22:21]
I do want to find that.
[22:23]
And this gives you a lot of chances.
[22:24]
And under that we know so high score, so in the city,
[22:26]
you can see much from the district to cover.
[22:28]
So that's the full district.
[22:30]
The free bank is lunch, but I think we have started elementary and a week and an extra year. And every kid can go and visit breakfast or more than every kid can get a free lunch.
[22:38]
Even if he's a free lunch box, I think he's a lunch box and they'll get their free lunch and you get it. Now, we don't have kids so hungry.
[22:45]
And so, that is something that we need to raise your arm to test.
[22:49]
I mean, here's some pushback that we didn't do it at all campuses, but if we had to start a decision on us to cover the costs,
[22:55]
So the district needs to rest for the cost of every kid that's not right, so we can't see.
[23:00]
Does that a better result?
[23:01]
All right.
[23:02]
Thank you, Mark.
[23:03]
Appreciate it.
[23:05]
All right.
[23:06]
This Anderson is our counselor for Elementary and Intermediate.
[23:10]
Do you have any updates or things that you'd like to?
[23:13]
Well, well, you mentioned a fight type, so elementary and intermediate or scheduled next year to have a pet training.
[23:22]
I mean, I haven't began in the year, so we did an act on it, so that-
[23:27]
And what tell them what that is.
[23:30]
I think it is a curriculum that's intended for pre-type
[23:35]
for the free-type for us, and a percentage of from the process.
[23:43]
So I'm sure the process, from mentioned, are very common and used as curriculum about
[23:49]
our students understand, set of touch and good pages, you know, help the whole process.
[23:57]
And it's really good.
[23:58]
Actually, I'm sure you're interested.
[24:00]
And another.
[24:01]
The curriculum looks for work.
[24:02]
And it is very good.
[24:04]
It's a well-written and well-present.
[24:07]
So if our students are going to benefit from that,
[24:09]
T-chat we've been using T-chat closet with seven students and it reverse the second one and a different.
[24:18]
And that's the mental health.
[24:19]
That is our mental health.
[24:27]
That is our mental health.
[24:33]
And the rest of it was just got it.
[24:37]
I'm just actually going to question here at the end about social media and safety.
[24:44]
Good, good.
[24:45]
Thank you.
[24:46]
Thank you.
[24:47]
Thank you.
[24:48]
All right.
[24:49]
What about Coach Tinley?
[24:51]
Not Coach.
[24:52]
Joe.
[24:53]
Joe Tinley.
[24:55]
Had twin grandchildren last night or early this morning.
[24:59]
So he is in Lepkin with his daughter.
[25:03]
Had a boy in a girl.
[25:04]
They were a little early so they're in the Mickey unit but they're doing well.
[25:08]
So he wanted me to just, he said what he wanted to let y'all know.
[25:12]
If their doors are still being checked for being locked, the transportation director now has
[25:19]
an app on his phone to detect lightning, we had a close call the other day with a person
[25:24]
one of our staff members was putting gas in, or had not pump the gas yet, just had the gas.
[25:32]
I don't know what it is, the handle thing.
[25:35]
Yeah, thank you, nozzle, yeah, and lightning struck some area near him, which traveled up through the ground into his hand and through that nozzle, but he was fine.
[25:50]
He didn't feel the full effect of it, but he knew he had something that had happened.
[25:55]
Anyway, so the transportation director now has this app, Joe, what I mean to let you know, that will detect lightning and he can monitor that stuff.
[26:02]
And we will be starting to start off with just two or three times a week.
[26:08]
Yeah, yeah.
[26:08]
Yeah.
[26:09]
We have an architect now.
[26:10]
We have a construction company, and so when we get going on that,
[26:13]
and then say it to you on that, and it happens to be two times a week.
[26:17]
And right now, it's 15,000 per campus.
[26:19]
It was like something about 37,000 per campus.
[26:22]
And then we still get the money per year, which looks like it may bring in
[26:26]
the post that hundreds of million dollars per month.
[26:29]
It should have possibly been to the net money for us.
[26:32]
I'm going to do lots of stuff with it.
[26:34]
We can put up some pens in T.T.
[26:35]
And the one I can't sit for America and also leave it where we could get another police officer.
[26:39]
So you have a little school on these events.
[26:42]
You have a little school on high school.
[26:44]
That's great.
[26:48]
All right, now today is being our last meeting of the shack.
[26:52]
We're going to do a shackle evaluation,
[26:54]
which I have to take before the school board.
[26:57]
This is just another thing that the state requires us to do.
[27:00]
It's just 10 things that you check off.
[27:04]
It's real quick and easy.
[27:05]
And then we're going to have our principals and Mr. Johnson,
[27:08]
And also, for intended, do any updates of the district,
[27:10]
or their campuses that you might need to know about?
[27:16]
We're still start testing, aren't we?
[27:17]
Or did we send it to Mars the last one?
[27:21]
All right, so I'm just going to pass these out to y'all
[27:24]
and let you know that, yes, no, maybe,
[27:28]
or any comments that you'd like to do.
[27:31]
And I think it's an spreadsheet in your school board.
[27:34]
There's a connection.
[27:36]
In any case, we have another thing here.
[27:39]
And then you go, you'll
[27:48]
just get a little bit of that one.
[27:55]
And then I'll go back to my home and you found it through the other one.
[27:59]
One little slice.
[28:05]
There you go.
[28:07]
Thank you.
[28:08]
I'll give you a few minutes, please.
[28:09]
And then we'll move on.
[28:10]
Let me show you how I'm making it.
[29:48]
Okay.
[30:00]
We'll go ahead and finish up and let Elementary Miss Sealy any updates for your campus. Okay?
[30:30]
and we have all of all in survey.
[30:32]
So our big challenge is really for doing that for us.
[30:35]
I'll go tomorrow is greater shine.
[30:38]
Our elementary field today, our college about it.
[30:41]
And we also I have on our elementary field day,
[30:44]
my book fair is really good.
[30:46]
You know, because I want to get one up here.
[30:48]
It's really enjoyed that.
[30:49]
We have your book, but we're at Lersey.
[30:51]
And of course, in the year, we have a lot of this coming up,
[30:54]
field trips, and we have a kindergarten musical coming up.
[30:57]
And then we will celebrate the very end, of course, on May 15th, our free pay into the
[31:03]
year program, on the 19th, will be in May of course, our kindergarten graduation.
[31:09]
And then on the 9th of May, we have our first and second great deal that lots of great
[31:13]
things that they've done, just a year, year and a little bit.
[31:16]
And while we're talking about elementary, Ms. Staley, can you tell us who's retiring from your
[31:20]
campus this year?
[31:21]
We're having for my kids.
[31:24]
This is the two very special ladies we have.
[31:27]
Ms. Charles O'Neill has been our dyslexic teacher.
[31:30]
And then we have Ms. Hackett Walker.
[31:33]
And those two ladies together have over 80 students.
[31:36]
Yes, yes.
[31:38]
Yes. Thank you.
[31:39]
All right, Mr. Harry.
[31:41]
Yes.
[31:41]
Intermediate.
[31:42]
And Mrs. Anderson said earlier,
[31:45]
we have a group of kids that still need to make that some sarcasm.
[31:49]
Thank you.
[31:49]
That will wrap up the rest of the star testing season for us.
[31:54]
Last night with our art show, Maggie does an amazing job.
[31:59]
I'm surprised that she was nervous,
[32:01]
Baba and Pat Rainy also had a big shoot.
[32:04]
She felt that she's done it so well,
[32:07]
and the art show turned out nice as it always does.
[32:11]
The next event that's going to be this coming Monday.
[32:16]
If you notice the metal building, red post, and done very well, is our outdoor classroom.
[32:24]
So if you had it, notice that it's in between the elementary and the intermediate temperature
[32:29]
out on the backside of the intermediate gym.
[32:32]
And we're really proud of that.
[32:33]
We started off with four raised beds.
[32:37]
We were to teach you kids out of garden and nutrition.
[32:41]
and that expanded the six beds, and then we were able to construct that for a classroom.
[32:48]
That becomes a facility that the ladies from our master gardener program and our nutrition.
[32:55]
They don't come but once one day of the month.
[33:01]
And so there's a lot of times that that facility is down.
[33:04]
And so if the elementary wants to do something as far as a celebration and teachers want to reserve
[33:09]
that they can contact Courtney Crawford and let it sit at the time where they can go out there
[33:14]
and utilize that space. If you haven't noticed, they put in the different flowers to
[33:20]
attract pollinators and stuff to the right's beds. And so they really got it as nice as it.
[33:26]
This probably the nicest little ever video. And so, I'm not sure if I should say that. It's just nice.
[33:31]
Uh-huh.
[33:32]
Yeah.
[33:35]
I'm not as people sitting at the tables because it's a shade.
[33:42]
Yeah.
[33:42]
Yeah.
[33:42]
Yeah.
[33:43]
Yeah.
[33:43]
Most of the year, they set on that little concrete plan.
[33:47]
And watch their kids as they play in that area.
[33:49]
And it's like the last week or two.
[33:51]
And they notice, why don't we set them on a land?
[33:53]
We set it on a picnic table.
[33:54]
It's covered.
[33:56]
Yeah.
[33:57]
For the field trip coming up on the 6, our special hand field date will be on that maybe 8.
[34:05]
I think that's in practice.
[34:09]
And then the intermediate field date will be on the 15.
[34:13]
And then our award ceremony will be on the 25th.
[34:16]
So a lot going on.
[34:18]
We're in the process of doing interviews for some of the staff.
[34:22]
I'm moving on and that's going well and so we're just trying to land the pond.
[34:30]
Yeah.
[34:31]
Roger.
[34:32]
Nice.
[34:33]
A little school.
[34:34]
A little school got 15 school days, I thought he was there, but he has that countdown
[34:39]
to only the day.
[34:40]
I point that out because every one of those is a jam pack, you know, we're at the end of
[34:44]
the year.
[34:44]
It's still very busy.
[34:45]
I've got a list in the answer to this question here.
[34:49]
There's just something that's almost every day.
[34:51]
They cover the special day of the old day.
[34:53]
We've got awards, ceremonies coming up, art show, art is still upcoming.
[34:59]
We, in spring after store test, which we did complete store test last week was our last day.
[35:05]
We start taking kids on reward field trips.
[35:08]
We really push kids and middle school to get involved in co-operate interactivity's clubs organization.
[35:14]
and so at the end, we counted more of those kids with that, and the neatest part of that is some of them
[35:19]
get to get out of Anderson County for the first time ever yesterday.
[35:23]
We took the whole April class to Texas A&M, and then on a big tour in the George Bush Library,
[35:29]
as it was really important.
[35:31]
I didn't get to go this year on that with him, but that's neat to watch the kids just kind of out there outside of the building.
[35:38]
That's good.
[35:39]
I just got word, we have expanded our e-sports, we've got middle school kids competing.
[35:46]
Oh, good!
[35:47]
The week is sitting there.
[35:49]
They just said, and posted it in the event today, for younger kids, and Angela Mohn is our sponsor,
[35:54]
and took them over there to send them to the kitchen and stuff.
[35:57]
That's amazing.
[35:58]
That's cool.
[35:58]
Again, I'm glad they're prepared for kids to go.
[36:00]
Yeah.
[36:01]
Once it comes to school and be involved, I think that's important for mental health and everything else.
[36:07]
That's not all I got.
[36:08]
Do you have any retirees this year, uh-huh, uh-huh, and you great get forgot to ask you
[36:21]
That's just toy from your campus. That's all I'll remember. Okay, Jason, I have a high school principal last chat meeting
[36:36]
Yeah,
[36:41]
I know I know that's true. Mr. Oz is retiring this year
[36:46]
just for y'all to know.
[36:47]
Coach, how's your time as well?
[36:49]
Okay.
[36:50]
That's all.
[36:51]
Okay.
[36:52]
Oh no, I'm not.
[36:53]
I could remember.
[36:55]
I knew you, but I could remember.
[36:58]
Up days from late at school of health, we just completed our fitness program.
[37:02]
It was just...
[37:02]
Oh good.
[37:04]
That's...
[37:05]
That's...
[37:06]
We did have a surprise to be able to work on it about three weeks to get out.
[37:15]
and we did really well, no deficiencies, and of course not.
[37:21]
Well, you never know.
[37:24]
I know.
[37:24]
I went out and I started to build it.
[37:28]
Okay, so, uh, but...
