[3:06] The total appropriation is $79,116,332 of that the general fund is $32,448,250.

[3:15] Water fund totals $11,445,730 and the new capital projects fund is $4,883,000.

[3:24] The estimated property taxes to be levied for 2026 is $24,230,470 that does include debt service and

[3:32] the funds levied for the library and when calculated in accordance with the truth and

[3:36] takesation law, this is a 4.82% increase.

[3:40] The board will consider an MOU with the Umut Park Community School District 401,

[3:45] regarding the school resource officer or the SRO services.

[3:49] This MOU describes a relationship between the district and the SRO, including the purpose and

[3:54] the scope as well as the role and responsibilities for the SRO.

[3:57] The MOU describes how interviews with students on school grounds will take place.

[4:03] It does prohibit the issuance of tickets on school grounds during school hours.

[4:07] It does not limit the issuance of traffic citations.

[4:10] The MOU does not change the way we have operated, but instead simply serves to document it.

[4:16] The Board will be asked to approve my authorization of a proposal from JustNetwork's Inc.

[4:20] To provide an intermediate distribution framework, an IDF that will be installed on an

[4:25] In the north wall of the electrical room near the East Gym, this equipment is necessary to consolidate the existing IT,

[4:31] the fiber connections and the voice data and video data for the Parks and Rec and the CRC that cost us $9,232 and 27 cents.

[4:41] The board will consider an amendment to the existing IGA with the library under which the village can provide short term cash flow assistance.

[4:48] The IGA currently requires full repayment on or before October 31st, 2026, but

[4:53] but because the county has recently announced another delay in tax bills being sent, this

[4:58] amendment will extend the repayment to February.

[5:00] Number 28, 2027, the village will of course be paid any amounts owed from the property tax as it is received. The board will be asked to ratify a right-of-entry agreement for 16 county related to a potential lease of the 16 county property. The board will consider an ordinance that demands regulations that govern the sale of tobacco and tobacco products. The ordinance requires that all entities licensed to sell tobacco must ensure that all employees engaged in the sale of tobacco and alternative nicotine products are educated and

[5:29] their responsibility to not sell products individuals under the age of 21.

[5:33] The policing code departments will conduct inspections, at least once per year,

[5:37] for each licensee to ensure compliance.

[5:40] The village will offer annual training to all licensees, but participation is voluntary.

[5:45] The ordinance explicitly prohibits the sale of any tobacco product, electronic cigarette,

[5:50] or alternative nicotine product that is a counterfeit or stolen.

[5:54] The Board will consider the annual renewal with Granicus, as you know, the bill is used as Granicus,

[5:59] the live streamer of billage board meetings, the annual cost is $12,800, $4.04.

[6:05] The Board will consider an amendment to the retiree health care funding plan that will change the timing of

[6:10] sick invocation payouts or retirement.

[6:12] The amendment spreads the payouts over a three month period preceding retirement to avoid the appearance

[6:16] of a pay spike for pension purposes.

[6:18] This amendment does not impact the amount we pay simply when it is paid.

[6:23] The Board will consider an amendment to the code governing the installation of automated

[6:27] sprinkler systems.

[6:28] Once amended, all new construction buildings will require an automatic sprinkler

[6:31] system, regardless of size.

[6:32] And lastly, as you know, NORCOM provides emergency dis-based services to the village.

[6:37] The Board will consider an amendment under which we will operate to document NORCOM's

[6:41] commitment to assist the village in its transition to the West Suburban Consolidate

[6:45] Dispatch Center, until the transition is complete, the village will pay NORCOM 66,375.
