[8:14] rather than later if there's still time to proceed at the next meeting if if

[8:18] that's what you'd like to do. But it is for you to to look over. I the the

[8:23] numbers that I put in there are are the same as what was going to be on in the

[8:26] spring. Okay. If anyone would like to change that at all, that's certainly

[8:29] something we can do. I just wanted to kick off that conversation so we didn't

[8:33] miss a deadline. And it was August 6th was the deadline. August 6th is the

[9:25] communications, other equipment, buildings and sites for such buildings

[9:28] used directly in the operation of a police department for the payment of or

[9:32] salaries of permanent or part-time police communications or administrative

[9:36] personnel to operate the same including the payment of any employer

[9:39] contributions for such personnel under sections 145.48 or 742.22 of the revised

[9:44] code or for the payment of other related costs. This would be a 5-year levy.

[9:48] First levy this year, first collected next year. Um and the um approximate

[9:53] rate to be or the millage rate would be 1.75 mills,

[10:00] which correct me if I'm wrong, um equates to the old

[10:06] 2 and 12 mil levy. The what we would receive would be a very similar number.

[10:11] the receipts would be I can't say identical but it would bring in an

[10:16] equivalent amount to what the old levy did which it was generating a higher

[10:19] rate but because of increases in property valuations since that levy was

[10:23] initially put on it takes a lower millage rate to collect the same amount

[13:28] house to put on there. She has had her plans submitted to the health department

[13:34] for the um septic in Leechfield which has been approved. Um there is a BZA

[13:42] meeting for a variance for her house um a square footage variance. That meeting

[13:49] is scheduled Wednesday the 25th at 6:30. um the minimum square footage in that

[13:55] area, R2 area is 1,300 ft². She wants to ask for variance for,00 square ft. So,

[14:03] um just a couple hundred square feet difference. So,

[14:06] um have been having a lot of calls since I've started working here on that and

[14:11] it's just been an issue with the health department septic placement and all that

[14:15] kind of stuff. So, when did you say that meeting was? Uh Wednesday the 25th at

[14:20] 6:30. This is one at the end of Skyline right by the cemetery. Correct. If you

[14:26] drive up there, you can see the stakes. Solid underneath

[14:32] that one. Solid. Solid underid. Solid rock. Under. Yeah, it's wrong. Yeah,

[14:37] it's solid. But it's going to be noisy for a while when they dig into it to put

[15:20] right uh next item the generator uh for the water plant uh we have an issue with

[15:26] the tariff issue on that right now. So it's kind of on hold for now. It's been

[15:33] handed over to um our attorney. Um they were charging us astronomical tariff on

[15:40] that um in the sum of $14,000. Um so we're kind of deciding well that

[15:50] puts us over the bid amount. So it'll have to go out for bid and I talked to

[15:53] the contractor uh where we ordered it from letting him know that you know

[15:57] unless they want to reduce the tariffs you know um I have

[16:02] not heard from him. I sent them a shared a letter with them from our attorney

[16:07] explaining that that they would have to, you know, reduce the tariffs a bit to

[16:10] get it underneath the bid or it'll have we can't accept it and it'll have to go

[16:13] off a bid. So, I haven't heard anything back from him since I sent that letter

[16:18] to him uh late last week. So, we'll see what happens. So, but we were supposed

[16:23] to get it delivered this week, but it's not happening. So,

[16:27] till that till that gets resolved. So, kind of a shock, you know, they had it

[16:32] broke down. Uh I asked if they could break down, you know, what costs, you

[16:36] know, we had to pay for the tariff, you know, but they broke it down for each

[16:39] country that parts came from. Well, that's not what we wanted and that's not

[16:42] what the attorney asked for. He wanted to see what parts cost, you know, so

[16:48] we're waiting to see if they can break that down. And we know they can, but

[16:52] they say they can't, but they can't. So, we're waiting. uh Green Vista. I met

[16:58] with the third contractor out there today for the um uh just the portion

[17:03] that we're trying to get under the AT&T uh conduit there at the intersection of

[17:07] Green Vistas. So, um I'm hoping to get uh his quote here uh either later this

[17:14] week and uh we'll uh go from there. But uh we're trying to get that that portion

[17:19] of it done and then uh I'll be like I said before, I'll be putting in for the

[17:23] rest of the project for OPWC. So, In your packet, you have a uh it says

[17:30] 2024 village or enan fees. In the one column

[17:35] is what we currently uh are charging fees for the various items. Um, and I

[17:41] know I mentioned sometime last year about uh, you know, looking into raising

[17:46] those fees, uh, especially like the BZA. Just for

[17:50] example, the ad that we just put in uh, for this BZA meeting is costing us $90

[17:56] to $95 to put in the paper. Um, and it's not a

[18:01] large ad. It's a small one of the smaller ones we had to put in. And I

[18:05] remember one ad last year we had to put in. It was more extensive. I think it

[18:10] was a legal notice. Uh it was well over $150. So um so it varies. I think it,

[18:16] you know, from $90 to $125, uh usually for a ad for BZA, planning

[18:22] commission, things like that. So but that just gives you the first column,

[18:25] like I say, is what we're charging. Now, this uh the column to your right is uh

[18:30] uh what Christy and I just kind of discussed a suggested increase. I I

[18:36] would like you to uh maybe review those at your leisure and you know have a

[18:41] discussion at a future date to possibly raise some of those if not all of them.

[18:47] So take a look at that if you please that'd be great. What's the uh golf cart

[18:54] fee? Is that like an inspection? Yes vehicle to get the decal. We get a lot

[18:59] of them coming. The BMV lets people know out of out of town

[19:04] people know, right? Hey, Enan inspects while they come down here and it's, you

[19:08] know, only $10 currently. So, it's like they know we're cheap and they bring

[19:13] them down and but that's up to you guys if you want to increase it. But they

[19:16] that's So, that's just for the sticker and to

[19:22] fill out the sheet that then you have to return to the BMV to get to get the

[19:35] uh land use agreement. Um I know the last meeting we talked had the gentleman

[19:41] come in or a couple meetings ago gentleman come in talking about he

[19:44] wanted to set up a 10 x10 you know like a vendor and um I was called our

[19:50] insurance company to get their input on what their thought was and they you know

[19:57] naturally said you have to have some sort of land use agreement which we

[19:59] already had in place and uh and she listed out some uh things that they

[20:05] require um especially item number three which we already had that in place as

[20:10] well. So we have something in place if if council so desires to um pursue that

[20:17] where you know people are allowed to set up in a public on public property like

[20:22] in the park or something like that. I know that Jeremy mentioned about uh you

[20:26] know maybe doing it uh uh once a month or certain days of the month or

[20:31] whatever. So, that's up to council to discuss, but we do have the the uh

[20:36] agreement in place already that people use. Okay. Have you seen this already?

[23:21] 92 business checks and 82 details that the officers done

[23:27] throughout their shifts. Um, I spent the last two days up in

[23:33] Columbus for the uh, school safety summit. uh lot of

[23:40] interesting businesses that we talked to and different things. We did I did speak

[23:44] with a uh business about the metal detectors. Um he wants to set an

[23:51] appointment to come down to see what what the area is and what we're what

[23:55] we're needing it for. Um I told him it would be definitely next year before we

[24:01] even considered uh

[24:04] making the purchase. So, but he still wants to come down and see the area.

[24:08] what we're what we're wanting. Um, they're very portable. They're battery

[24:13] powered, so we're not plugging running electric cords. Um,

[24:18] the uh the one he had up there, uh, they're

[24:25] 18 hour batteries, but you can we could take them different locations. So, like
