[3:39] appliances for Less has went into the old Crispy Cream building so that is now
[3:45] filled and ABC Warehouse expansion those are just some of those overall we've had
[3:51] over $35 million and new investment into our community in this past year uh just
[3:58] to give you an overall View of the Flint Township DDA for
[4:03] 2023 um our base year was at 220
[4:10] m9960 now the capture on that uh which means we had over $8 million a new
[4:16] investment is the 8 3121 197 our projected Tiff revenue for 2023
[4:23] was 190,000 and year to date we are at 18253
[4:30] some of the things we've spent the capture dollars on would be uh
[4:34] beautification at
[4:37] 43598 that includes uh cleaning the ramps that enter our community and
[4:43] various other uh projects such as uh uh the signage doing the flowers and things
[4:50] there and flowers at the uh uh parks and those things uh the Discover Flint
[4:56] Township community events and branding we spent about
[5:00] 35,000 uh website and planning we did 11,836 and Public Safety uh we had
[5:09] $30,000 uh going back to them this year that included a new gym facility for our
[5:16] fire department in station one for all of the fire people firemen and women to
[5:21] use uh Bristol Road CIA uh 2023 uh their base year was 129
[5:30] 85835 and our capture value as of last year was the
[5:38] 3498 321 so over $3 million in investment in just that small area our
[5:45] projected uh revenue for this year was 74595 and actual year to date is
[5:58] 75,200 on maintaining the expressways in their area and cleanup uh projects the
[6:06] uh community events and branding was 9,697 and website and planning was
[6:13] 1,650 and Public Safety has garnered 13,500 from the Bristol Road
[6:20] CIA they also um next year are starting a uh facade signage and uh Paving pilot
[6:32] program uh where they will grant uh facilities I believe they set their
[6:37] amount at $2,000 and we will have more information
[6:41] out on that in March beater Road CIA
[6:47] 2023 uh the taxable value at their base year was $9.6 Million 9668 444 to be
[6:56] exact uh their capture now is at 2 898 741 so they've had uh just shy of $3
[7:04] million in investment they had projected Tiff
[7:08] revenue of 42820 and year-to date actual was
[7:14] 65,67 for um they uh spent some uh money on beautification of $4,000 that
[7:23] included their Paving uh pilot program uh where we worked with business to give
[7:30] grants of up to $1,500 uh for um them to uh improve
[7:37] their parking lot areas and they did have three uh businesses that have
[7:43] participated in that and then part of The Branding and community events their
[7:48] expenditure was 4454 and website and planning was
[7:53] 1,250 and they contributed $111,000 to the public safety um
[8:02] fund so the events we had we did talk about them somewhat uh part of uh what
[8:08] we had was our bunny trail which has been a huge success we had approximately
[8:14] 800 participants along with the bunny trail at uh 800 participants at the
[8:21] Easter egg hunt and along with that we had uh 42 businesses that participated
[8:28] as bunny stops and it was a great event everybody had a great time we also had
[8:35] the uh tricker treating at the mall uh with at jese Valley Center that was an
[8:42] indoor one we helped them with that they ended up with about 3,000 people coming
[8:47] in to participate uh the following day we had
[8:50] our Trunks and treats at Shea Automotive Group in conjunction with Shay Security
[8:55] Credit Union Dort Federal Credit Union or I'm sorry D Financial Credit Credit
[8:59] Union um hap uh and uh I said jn1 and Shay and
[9:06] Brilliant marketing uh we have approximately 10,000 people participate
[9:11] in that with over 35 First Responders that participate in handing out candy we
[9:19] actually handed out uh over seven and a half pallets of candy if you can believe
[9:24] it we also do our national night out uh with the police department we help them
[9:29] out with that I believe they had approximately a, to 1500 people show up
[9:34] to that it's a wonderful event uh we helped them out very minimally with uh
[9:39] advertising and that type of thing uh but they do all the work and they do a
[9:43] great job of it we uh did have the uh we worked with the city of sartz Creek for
[9:50] a trail extension while uh that was most was paid by ARA funds and grants uh we
[9:57] did help them out uh uh with logistical uh things that they needed
[10:03] one of the other things that we did was we did work with uh jese Valley Center
[10:08] to do a welcome Santa Claus event uh we ended up with about 200 people uh
[10:14] participating in that it was a great event it was a nice way to start the
[10:18] holiday season and this year uh we did not do the alun we're going to
[10:23] reconfigure that for next year but we did invest uh
[10:30] uh the monies that we would have spent on that in the welcome Santa and then
[10:35] also in doing weekly remotes at some of our small businesses all over Flint
[10:41] Township so we've been doing that we had the first one was on December 2nd and we
[10:47] did the 9th the 16th and we'll do the 23rd as well and those have been really
[10:53] great the businesses have really liked it because we let them uh talk on air
[10:56] during the remotes it's a lot of fun
[11:02] um this is a list of our board of directors uh chairman wi Cooper Vice
[11:06] chairman John gazelle Treasurer Kevin stiff Gary heran Lawrence Ratliff Nino
[11:12] Sapone Joon o salivan Butler and trustee Dev Campbell uh one of the things that
[11:18] was a huge success this year obviously Chick-fil-A everybody wanted him here
[11:22] everybody was uh so grateful to have them come but one of the things was as
[11:26] you can see in this picture at the corner of lond in Miller Road um we had
[11:30] a safety issue that was there uh the DDA board wanted us to address it to uh find
[11:37] a way to get a light mounted there and I uh do need to thank the jenes County
[11:42] Road Commission because when we went to them with the problem they had some
[11:46] other work they needed to do there and they went ahead and put up the light
[11:50] with for us at no cost so we're very happy to have that

[12:02] chairman Chris wheeler secretary Randy kilbreth uh Stefan Smith trusty Carol
[12:08] faf doall and Mr Wilson lahood um this has been a great group
[12:13] and next year like I said uh one of the projects they want us to uh try out is
[12:19] going to be a pilot program uh for Grant dollars for our um businesses in the
[12:25] corridor Improvement authority to do uh facade improvements sign improvements or
[12:32] parking lot improvements uh and we will have more

[13:06] a lot better than what it does so we're very happy to see people using that
[13:10] program and we love seeing the
[13:14] results uh the Charter Township of Flint does have an economic development

[13:59] great information out of that meeting and we've tried to implement
