[2:46] came in for the finalization of our taxes for 2025.

[3:02] Outgoing we had was the bills we paid at last month's meeting. Nothing changed or

[4:16] have or the last day you would have to submit

[4:26] concerns over that. And I know that doesn't affect this township,

[4:32] but they're looking for everybody to kind of submit

[4:36] um the concerns because it's it's a big deal for our county. Um and what's

[4:44] happening is there's some state requirements that are listed in order

[4:50] from one to four. And forgive me, I don't have them memorized. But the first

[4:55] requirement the state would want you to satisfy is to follow all the existing

[5:00] corridors, meaning um interstate systems, railroad systems

[5:07] or existing um infrastructure that's already there. And unfortunately, this

[5:13] uh route, which you guys may already be familiar with, is just blazing a new

[5:18] trail in some cases through people's yards. Um, it's a pretty big deal. And

[5:24] this is not your typical power line. So, if you can think about our biggest power

[5:29] line in our county, this is a, you know, four or five times bigger

[5:36] with the amount of energy it's it's uh sending down it. So, it's a pretty big

[5:42] deal and I would actually very strongly recommend that uh you would uh if you if

[5:48] you could you have interest submit comment on it and the websites you want

[5:54] to go to is mgs-pros.com.

[6:01] Um, so if you look that up, it'll give you a

[6:05] portal or whatever to uh submit your comments, concerns on it. Um

[6:12] there's a lot of concerns. There's nine county [clears throat] board chairs that

[6:16] are getting together to meet and try and push back because this is affecting a

[6:21] lot of other counties in the state with the same concerns that we have. So, um

[6:27] with that, I don't know, maybe you guys already have some of this information or

[6:31] or if you have any questions beyond what I'm telling you, go ahead and ask. I'll

[6:36] try and answer them if I can. But um going back to the order that the state

[6:43] requires um the way they blaze this trail is like

[6:48] the last option in the line. So um they're not really being all that

[6:54] sensitive to what the state requires. So our big concern is that the state just

[6:58] follows its own rules and pushes back at them. So that's where I really think our

[7:04] comments and concerns really pushing on the state to say, "Hey, let's stay with

[7:08] on our own rules that we have as a state." That's what I'd like to see have

[7:12] happen. Um, and um, I do have something else. I don't know if you remember, I

[7:19] don't know if this was probably three months ago now, I brought up the

[7:23] horsedrawn vehicle stuff and I've got some uh, copies from Oaklair County. I

[7:30] got four of them actually. I was going to give them to

[7:34] the uh supervisors and then uh the clerk, but if you look on this this

[7:40] these are just black and [clears throat] white copies, but uh this first page

[7:45] just kind of highlights it. The second page actually shows you what the

[7:50] ordinance that they adopted is. And I like it a lot. There's some other

[7:53] ordinances out there, but I think this is pretty simple and um gives you

[7:58] something to think about that is maybe something you guys would consider

[8:02] adopting here in our town or your township.

[26:29] had to be under 25,000 cubic feet. Well, when you start looking at cubic feet,

[26:33] they use the crawl space, the living space, and the basement. And so, um, if

[26:39] we would have been one building on a slab, we'd have made it. But when we got

[26:43] to have a basement under it or crawl space under it, we're over that. And so,

[26:48] our plans right now are at the state being inspected. And that's why they

[26:53] want our license numbers from our electricians and our HVAC people and our

[26:59] plumbing for their state inspection plans. And so it's been kind of an up

[27:04] and down week on getting things done a month actually. Um and then of course

[27:11] then well now that we're in there, the state inspector lives up north, way up

[27:16] north someplace. And so um he'll either be have to come down or we'll have to do

[27:21] pictures. They got to look at the reinforcing rods and the footings and

[27:25] reinforcement rods in the walls and all this stuff has to be done one step at a

[27:31] time before we can move forward every time. So, um the county and general

[27:37] energy is the town's inspector for your any resident, but they will not touch

[27:43] anything that's uh commercial or institutional. So anyway,

[27:50] um yeah, that's kind of where we are. And I guess

[27:57] that's about where we are. And I was hoping they were supposed to get the

[28:01] corn off here by the 1st of October. So if they get the corn off and we can get

[28:07] in there digging and a few things, maybe we can get a basement before

[28:12] November when they have to in November they have to start heating the concrete

[28:16] and whatever and the price goes up. So, if we can't get it in before November,

[28:19] we probably won't get it. So, if we can get it in before November and get a

[28:23] septic and a well in, they can set the structure in December or anytime as long

[29:46] County, it's got to be on industrial zone land. And the only two parcels in

[29:52] Columbia County are in Marcel and that would be big enough. And one is out by

[29:57] the power plant and that one is all low ground so it's not buildable. Marcella
